Orange Blossom by Jo Malone London is a Floral fragrance for women and men. Orange Blossom was launched in 2003. The nose behind this fragrance is Jean Claude Delville. Top note is Tangerine Blossom; middle notes are Orange Blossom, Lilac and Water Lily; base notes are Iris and Vetiver.

Orange Blossom was created in 2003. It was inspired with stay in the hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles, or better to say, with its romantic atmosphere from the times of colonial Spain.

The scent of dewy leaves of clementine stretches over the delicate floral heart, composed of orange blossom, and water lily.

The top notes are cedrat, green notes and clementine leaf. The heart is composed of orange blossom and water lily, while the base of orange blossom and lilac.

All Jo Malone fragrances can be combined with others of the same line. The Jo Malone house says that Orange Blossom can be combined with White Jasmine & Mint or with Blue Agava & Cacao.
The Fragrance Combining Palette can be seen at Jo Malone web site.

This is realistic orange blossom scent I have come across and I absolutely adore orange blossom. However, I am not sure if I will ever purchase this perfume as it is quite weak. I am sensitive to strong smells and it often puts me of a fragrance if I can smell it nonstop for 24 hours straight. However, even I wished for more depth and strength from this one. In its realism, it is a bit flat. I do love the fact though, that the sweetness of the orange blossom is not drowned in neroli, petitgrain, orange / bergamot / lemon or vetiver like in so many other fragrances. It gets to be what it is.

This was not what I was expecting. It smells like BREATH. Not bad breath but like someone is breathing on you. I do not like this perfume. I now mix it with a spicy perfume. But at the end of the day I can still smell the hot breath it leaves on me. I like the bitter orange a lot better

tanasha

This is the first perfume I loved. It doesn’t smell “perfume-y”. Just a hyper-realistic orange blossom. Crush an orange blossom in your hand, and it will smell exactly like this. Many fragrances (even some more expensive ones) use a far inferior orange blossom note. The performance is pretty awful, however. I’m not an oversprayer by any means, but I can douse myself in this and it will be gone in a few hours. Tragic, considering the price tag. I will begrudgingly repurchase because don’t want to be without it.

This smells absolutely gorgeous. Truly stunning, juicy fresh orange. I’ve worn it as a layering scent almost every day since 2007. On its own this fragrance lasts for only minutes, but it truly does make a difference to other fragrances in the line (I layer it with Pomegranate Noir, and wore it layered with White Jasmine and Mint as my wedding fragrance a decade ago).
I recently packed my Jo Malone carefully away and began a quest to find a fragrance with better projection and longevity. I hope that this will charm me again when I try it in the autumn. Perhaps we just need a break from one another.

The first time I smelled this perfume, it reminded me of my grandmother. I wouldn't call this a grown-up perfume. It's just that my grandmother loved orange blossom perfumes. This perfume reminded me of my childhood. My grandmother is now dead. Thanks to this perfume for bringing back my memories. A more feminine perfume for me. But men like to feel this smell more on women.

Orange Blossom is my new go-to scent for a fresh floral for the spring and summer! This is a very photorealistic orange blossom scent that is citrusy on the opening while maintaining a very strong distinction as a floral fragrance rather than a fruity one. It smells very natural and green, and reminds me of being a kid and ripping the leaves off of citrus trees, except much more delicate and lovely. The water lily adds sweetness to the scent without being cloying, and after an hour or so, it settles down into a graceful iris-forward scent as the citrus blossoms retreat slightly. By the end of the day, it fades to mostly orange blossom with some woody green vetiver underneath.

The longevity on this is pretty decent for a Jo Malone scent—I am still smelling it on myself four or five hours after spraying—but the sillage is intimate and it very quickly turns into a skin scent. This is exactly what I was looking for, as I wanted a fresh, lovely, but unobtrusive fragrance for the sweltering summer months and for indoor spaces. It won't last you a full work day, but it is perfect for a daytime outing.

Leesh

This is a light, refreshing scent. You definitely get the tangerine in the opening, with some bitterness. It's like peeling a ripe tangerine or orange, where you smell the juice, rind, and all. But my favorite part is when the lilac comes through. It makes me feel like I'm walking past lilac trees on a spring day, and I find it uplifting. Unfortunately, longevity and sillage are abysmal. It quickly becomes a skin scent.

Wow this smells like honeysuckle! Love it

On a spectrum if you take Aerin Honeysuckle and Aerin Honeysuckle Clementina, orange blossom would fit in-between those two.

bungaseroja

My friend bought it 4 or 3 years ago, and I couldn't stop thinking about it! At first it smells like Stella's Orange (A room fragrance which I don't really like), but then it becomes such a soft scent that is really pretty. Smells like a bride or in a wedding! As Eid festival is coming near here in Indonesia, so I decided to visit Jo Malone store and have a try.. I bought the 100ml size bottle and I thought it's really worth it! I can't wait to pour it to all over my body to show it off to my family..

Leolia

This was amazingly beautiful on paper.
On skin not so much.
I'm so disappointed

paupadua

I am a fan of perfumes with orange blossom notes and this one is a delightful orange blossom as it has this sweet tangy savor like sweet tangerine balanced by some florals and vetiver...an enchanting scent!

greenviolets

This is a gorgeous orange blossom lilac scent. I sprayed it on my coat and I can smell it with my mask on even hours after trying it. I recommend spraying some on summer dresses if it doesn't last on your skin

j.andresminor

Well it is very pleasant really similar to Jo Malone creation of Zara-Wild-Coolness (for men), my mother really like it also but it last like an Eau de Cologne (i prefer mine from Zara the orange blossom is more persistent or Dior Sauvage Cologne is a good option also for women)

JKanyce

This smells like a southern WOMAN. A woman who grew up in a rural area... she still lives there, but now, she's someone's housewife. She enjoys indulging in fresh honeysuckle straight from the trees near her dwelling place. She's a little more fabulous than she used to be, but she's the poster child for a southern woman in a southern dress serving her husband sweet tea as he takes a break from tilling the crops.

I grew up in Georgia (US), and something about this REALLY reminds me of my childhood.

weazal

Absolutely flawless, gorgeous orange blossom. Clean mandarin orange zest. Effervescent and sharp.

After a short while, opens even more with pure white flower. Stunningly accurate and unisex. Zero sweetness, powder, or any other notes. Deep, rich, and borderline jasmine/lilac with cozy citrus.

Jaw-dropping realism and decent length demands owning.

RagenHamlin

This was a scrubber for me! Seriously I couldn't get it off of me fast enough. Smelled like straight cat pee and nothing else.

sweetsher

Orange blossom? Where? Practically putrid.

Animalthing

I tried this one out and definitely like it. This cologne is great for people like me who are sensitive to synthetic or very strong/harsh fragrances. This is delicate, light, and natural. I definitely smell the orange blossom at the beginning but it quickly becomes mostly lilac. Many recommend this for summer, which I can agree with, but I think the lilac brings a coolness that reminds me much more of spring. I sprayed this on my clothes and smell it even an entire day later, not sure if it performs the same on skin. The projection is definitely more intimate, which I enjoy, because it isn’t overwhelming. To me, after wearing it for so long, some of the florals got a little drone-y and slightly annoying, but it was easy enough to ignore. This fragrance didn’t completely wow me or knock my socks off, but I did quite like it. It’s fresh, clean, long-lasting, and easy to wear. Great for many occasions and probably a crowd pleaser.

frag_nostalgia

Not usually one for freshies or pure florals, but this lovely fragrance is the exception to the rule. Orange Blossom by Jo Malone is clean, elegant, dewy, delicately sweet, and feminine. The smell of orange flower is photorealistic- not synthetic or overwhelming in the least; as is the warm, sunny, misty and calm lilac note once the topnotes settle. I've used up so much of my bottle already just wearing it around the house and to bed, when I purchased it with spring and summer in mind. Every time I wear it I can't help but think about HRH Catherine, Princess of Wales, wearing this scent on her wedding day. This is what the late Queen Elizabeth, and HRH William Prince of Wales, would have smelled when they hugged her. Simply a refined, stylish, gentle, breezy, versatile and beautiful perfume! So befitting of the Commonwealth's future Queen Catherine. 👑🤍🇬🇧

graysonWhitehair

Jo Malone offers underwhelming and linear fragrances.

yesyesterday

Although this is meant to smell more like orange flower, its definitely very jasmine. Very realistic and natural fragrance, very warm and gentle

vanillapinkblush

I find that all Jo Malone scents can tend toward being an intense, nearly nauseating sillage (e.g., Peony & Blush Suede, and Lime Basil & Mandarin), however the Orange Blossom I found to be much more appropriate. I found that a couple sprays was all that was necessary for this perfume to perform and project. For my skin chemistry, the orange blossom and tangerine blossom notes really came through, which is perfect for me as I love citrus notes in perfume.

This perfume would be perfect for warmer months and daytime wear, however it may smell a bit too fresh or energising for fall or winter. I wouldn't buy this perfume for nighttime wear, however I did have a friend who wore it day and night as her signature scent (so I guess it can be done).

My main dislike of the perfume was that it didn't have a whole lot of character, by which I mean that the perfume felt a bit one dimensional. The other notes were barely noticeable to me (albeit I did wear this perfume a little while ago, and before I could discern notes in perfume very well). I would argue that this perfume could work alongside another perfume or scent (i.e., body spray, oil, moisturiser), perhaps a vanilla, to create a more engaging or interesting scent profile (basically to say, I thought this scent was a bit uncomplicated and could pair well with other uncomplicated or complimentary scents).

Heliodora

A very fun and comforting scent. I get the orange blossom with a small hint of neroli bitterness, and most prominently a sweet tangerine fruity note. Don't get the other florals and vetiver at all. I had some doubts about getting a full bottle, because I can see how someone could think this is a bit simplistic, or that the tangerine smells kind of unnatural, but it is one of those scents, that just bring about a little bit of happiness and nostalgia. :) It's good for layering, the longevity is not great, but also not the worst.

Sophisticated_style

On my skin the floral note is prominent, on my friend’s skin, the orange citrus is prominent. Such a different scent experience depending on skin chemistry.

RottigrlNYC

Awe I adore this beautiful feminine perfume. It’s got all of my favorite notes, orange blossom, Lilac and Iris. And it’s not too loud so I can wear it at Church or to work. I bought a 30ml at first and loved it so much that I went back for the biggest bottle I could find . This is the ONLY Jo Malone frag I own and will ever buy. The problem is, same problem we all have with Jo Malone frags is that they don’t last long at all. This one is a bit better than her others. It makes it to an hour. I sampled many Jo Malone frags and this is the ONLY one I bought a bottle of. The rest, as pretty as they smelt, didn’t even make it a half hour. You’d think that after millions of ppl complaining about the longevity of Jo Malone frags, that the company would actually do something about it. But no, they don’t care. As long as ppl keep buying their weak ass perfumes, they’re not gonna change anything. I’m guessing the ppl who are loyal Jo Malone frag buyers are ppl who love wasting money on weak performing frags, they most likely carry around a bottle and reapply every half hr. I’ve seen these kind of women. You know who u are. You carry around a purse big enough to fit a kitchen sink. And 25 huge bottles of weak ass perfumes…lol

Florabeth

I know this perfume seems to divide opinions in this comment section, but I love it. It's orange blossom dominant with the lilac noticeably there right behind. A gorgeous, green leaning summer scent. Unisex but leans a little closer to feminine. I think its cool tone would contrast well on a hot day. I'm not sure why it gets such a hard time. I get that orange blossom isn't too everyone's taste but there is nothing offensive about this. Even the iris, which is a tricky note for me, isn't too powdery as it sometimes can be. I definitely want to add to my collection

BrokenSniffer

The Vibe: It's warm out...almost hot but not quite. There's just a hint of a breeze blowing. You're wearing a flowy white dress and ankle wrapping sandals. You're strolling a gorgeous garden that's positively glowing in the late afternoon sunshine. You pass a sparkling tangerine tree. Ah, the blossoms are so gorgeous. Thick, almost syrupy in your nose, but perfect, not cloying at all. You breathe deeply of their scent and note the heady smell of Spring florals opening, some still having their more green scent as they're not quite ready to reveal their full selves. Lilacs? Lillies? Honeysuckle? Gardenia if you really close your eyes and savor the scents. And yes, just over there a little off in the distance you smell little whiffs of the nearby Herb garden. Lovely. Just lovely.

Thought I'd say most would only wear this in the Spring/Summer, I'm loving it in the late fall right now. It's still relatively warm in Maryland for November. I think this has just the right amount of herbal qualities to make it work for me into the colder months of winter here. Honestly, layered with the right perfume this could be spiced enough for holiday use for me.

AlexandraRoseD

This is a very authentic orange blossom scent. The problem is that it is all I smell.

A parfume should be in my opinion about a blend of notes. Unfortunately, this single note falls in the category of an aromatic scent that you put in a room diffuser.

Kinnyski

Didn't like this. Was expecting a refreshing orange but this was too sweet and warm. Something medicinal too which was not appealing to me.

amudrechenko

I love this! This is truly gorgeous, it's light, fresh, inoffensive, so bright and zesty. It's floral and fruity at the same time. It has beautiful hints of white florals and slight powdery iris background. It's one of the most bright perfumes I have ever tried. It's just beautiful and simple. Straightforward and direct, nothing complicated or overdone. It's just the beauty in its simplicity.

SpiderMarc

This is a perfectly well blended orange fragrance.
It magically transports you onto an orange grove.

Might need to generously apply a little bit more sprays if you want it to last all day.

cheleine

On the fence with this one.
Other times when I sniff this I feel it’s kind of cold and synthetic, also too green for my tastes.
But other times it surprises me and feels uplifting, natural and juicy.
I’ve found I enjoy this a bit more during warmer months. It helps with my mood and also makes me feel put together.

Gestaltzerfall

very realistic smell of orange tree smell fresh yk
only reason why I didn't put like was because it dries down to this powdery?? soapy/?? deodorant??? -like smell that reminds me of my middle school locker room for some reason but that's proly just me tho so F

Malaya26

This smells like an orange car freshener. I wouln’t wear this as a perfume.

mabelangel

this is a really beautiful orange blossom scent! it's not sour or tart, just refreshing and fun! it's a very green and natural orange blossom with gentle hints of jasmine and lilac. perfect for summer and spring for a nice fresh relaxing moment. it's not sweet just realistic! the projection and longevity is a bit below average, but if you spray a generous amount on your skin and clothes it'll do the job!

Thykes10

I definitely get the tangerine in the opening. It has a very garden fresh, photorealistic feel, which is usually not my preference. I can also detect the lilac which also has a photorealistic quality to it. I get the vibe of being in a lush spring garden which is nostalgic to me. This comes off almost like a honeysuckle on my skin. If you like photorealistic scents, this is pretty nice. The longevity is not the best though. On me, this was a subtle skin scent by the 3 hour mark.

chosesvert

First impressions: The orange blossom note here is nice, and comes out strong with the first spray. Quickly, however, the lilac, iris + vetiver does as well. I find them to be too strong here, and a bit muddying (rather than say, juicy). There's also an aspect to this that smells like I sprayed it on cardboard..

ratbch

I own a large orange tree that blossoms in spring under my bedroom window. This is similar but not quite. This is "nice", not offensive, but weak and smells manufactured. I am searching for the perfect replica scent of orange blossoms. This isn't it. Sillage is weak.

Lsquared

Smells like you're sitting under an orange tree!

kpop_stan

This is a surprisingly enduring citrus perfume! Frankly I get none of the listed notes other than the orange blossom, but even that sits in the background with a very zesty, juicy grapefruit/orange note leading the charge for the first 3 or so hours. When that begins to fade the orange blossom lingers with maybe a tinge of iris if you squint. Lasted for about 5 hours on me which is above average for an orange blossom fragrance. Not bad!

It's a great option if you like orange blossom but rendered a little sweeter, without any animalic facets it can sometimes have.

rlagamba

This is my second favorite fragrance, just behind Tom Ford Neroli Portofino. It gives a top scent of tangerine, then pure honeysuckle on me. I love it. It makes me feel happy. Better longevity than Neroli Portofino but not by much - neither last long. NP is more complex of a scent. This is much less expensive to replace and is appropriate for so many situations. Great for spring, summer, work, dates… anytime. Definitely worth a test, could be a solid fave 😊

barcelonababe

I usually don’t like florals but this is perfect. Sweet, a bit of juicy citrus, and clean. Perfect for daily wear but I do wish it lasted longer. I like to use it with the matching body cream to amplify its sillage

The Wolf

Yeah this one is a beauty. I don't think I'd choose to wear it as a man, but would be great on a woman. It smells like a sweet floral concoction that I want to drink. That tangerine blossom is so good. Perfect for the heat as long as your skin doesn't amp up the sweetness too much.

Scent 7.5/10
Performance 5/10

MamaLuvs

Exactly like mermaid no1 which I also find to be a bit too one note

NaroliTicha

Elegant jasmine tea with fresh orange peel

WhiteFlowerPrincess

Like others on here, I'm very confused about the name and think it should have been called "Lilac" instead of "Orange Blossom."

Orange Blossom by Jo Malone opens at the start with that tangerine note quite strongly for the first two minutes and then it does turn into a vaguely naturalistic but watered down orange blossom after that. This stage only lasts for about 45 minutes on the skin though and then it just turns into a powdery and girly lilac perfume for the rest of its life, with a hint of iris in the mix.

The perfume then lasted on my skin for about 4 hours before dissipating completely and the sillage was only average on this one. It's not bad, but I'm honestly not impressed and I think that this perfume lacks any real oomph or gusto. The lack of oomph and gusto is a problem across all Jo Malone perfumes that I have tried though. Nothing has ever really impressed me from this perfume line and I think they're overrated and overpriced for what they are honestly.

I could imagine this perfume being very inoffensive though and people being able to wear it to a large amount of events, especially during the day. It's very versatile and office safe. Just not what I'm looking for though.

6/10 for me.

cmh9217

OY VEY…. Where to begin with this one…

I’ve been on a mission to find an Orange Blossom fragrance since I completely head over heels fell in love with Le Couvent des Minimes Orange Blossom EDT that was discontinued YEARS ago. Yeah, I know, that one was not in the same league as Jo Malone, but to me it was simply PERFECT and to this day I mourn the loss of it. I still have the 2nd bottle that I purchased right before it was discontinued, and it still has a bit of juice left in it, but unfortunately it has turned.

It had taken me quite awhile to finally sample the Jo Malone, but I did so recently and I Did NOT like it. Clearly I’m in the minority here with this one! LOL..I wanted the sweet Orange Blossom smell and all I got was an old lady perfume smell from it, and not much Orange anything going on…there is just too much funk in it for me to like…even just a little bit. BUMMER! The Quest continues..

Jicky1982

Very pretty. Sweet, fresh, living flower- orange blossom/honeysuckle scent. Soft and naturalistic - NOT super synthetic smelling, fortunately.
Perfect for spring and summer.
Does anyone remember GAP orange blossom perfume? Not the exact same but pretty similar.

leannaeliset

Oh my gosh I am in love with this. I sprayed it on my arm at Bloomingdale’s the other day and wanted to DRINK my arm. Could not stop inhaling my skin. My husband insisted we turn back so I could get it, because it was clear I was enamoured. This smells like my backyard orange tree in January and February- fresh orange blossoms in California. This isn’t just the blossoms, this is the whole tree. It’s juicy and green but also so white and floral. It’s not powdery or mature, either. It’s sparkly and bright. To me, it smells like fizzy mimosas on a bright flower-adorned balcony, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Alternatively, I also envision this on Elizabeth James in the Parent Trap. Clean white bedding and silky white blouses and Sunday spend getting lost at Harrod’s. I knew when I heard that Princess Catherine had Westminster Abbey lit up with this fragrance in candles on her wedding day to Prince William, that I would have to smell this one. I just didn’t expect to love it as much as I do. Sometimes I find orange blossom fragrances to smell like corn tortillas or Queen Anne’s Lace, but this is so much more complex. My only complaint is that it doesn’t last as long as I’d like it to!

b.a.denney

I've had this for probably four years and just decided to unpack it and wear it today. This transports me back to about 1974 or so when I had these tiny dolls made by Mattel called Little Kiddles dolls, and they came in containers and the dolls were scented. I think mine came in a transparent container shaped like a perfume bottle, they were so cute. Well, this orange blossom cologne smells just like them to me. Kim Kardashian's Pure Honey perfume also smells like those dolls of long ago, so this perfume reminds me of KK Pure Honey. I don't see how a man could pull this off unless he really likes floral scents. I can't believe it took me years to really enjoy this.

Hartsy3

This is one of my favorites of all time! This perfume opens with a sweet, juicy burst of fresh mandarin and then dries down to a delicious bouquet of orange blossoms and other white flowers. This reminds me of walking near the orange groves in Southern California. Or the nostalgia of the fragrance they spray in the "soarin over California" ride at Disney. This is just such a happy, uplifting and fresh fragrance. It's no wonder Kate Middleton made this her signature fragrance for the royal wedding. Pure bliss.

sundayinheaven

Orange Blossom is one of my all time favorite perfumes. Kate Middleton wears this & I think that says a lot. Fit for a princess. And it makes me feel like one everytime I wear it too. Beautiful, elegant, feminine. It also, surprisingly, lasts many hours on my skin. Jo Malone fragrances usually don’t do that on me.

gandrasta

In my hometown this smells so much like Kemuning flower. White flower bloomed by the full moon representing the beauty of women. It's sheer, innocent, almost transparent mixed of citrus and jasmine. This is enchantress in a bottle

RottigrlNYC

Awe what a beautiful citrus floral perfume.
This is incredibly feminine and innocent.
I absolutely love it. It took me a long time to finally find a new 100ml authentic bottle. One that is an early release and not the reformulated weak crap i keep reading about in these comments. Mine doesn’t smell like any children’s cereal or tic tacs or pez. I don’t know what they’re talking about. The fragrance i have is citrusy, orange blossom, beautiful lilacs and I even get a lil of the Iris. It’s one of the most beautiful femme fragrances I have ever smelt. Im buying a back up. I never want to run out.

pcsanjuan_89

Atm. my favorite perfume, i LOVED Lime,Basil and Mandarin for the longest time but this totally blew me away! It sometimes it smells like Sampaguita/Arabian Jasmin mixed with Orange (I have not experience actual orange blossoms yet) but it's a very pleasant smell especially when its hot, these also tend to smell like tea (Almost like earl grey) of all the perfumes i've collected, this one has got to be my best favorite

LaContessina

Re testing this after a couple of years i had it forgotten in one of my many storage boxes.
It's still very round , waxy and lilac based but today i smell 100% honeysuckle.
I am reminded of Yves Rocher Chevrefeuille if anyone recalls it.
Not bad for this season, but yet orange blossom is not very present as the name ekuld suggest.

maya2000ro

The opening is a beautiful citric /floral fragrance. After 10 min my skin chemistry transforms it into a field of fresh cut grass. It doesn't work for me. It's not bad but I wouldn't wanna be eaten by a cow.

SailorRoss

Smells like a children's cereal, possibly Fruit Loops. Not horrible, but that's all I thought about when wearing it.

Foxglovefollies

Opens with a strong smell of orange pez or tic tacs, which within a minute transitions to a lovely soft citrus floral. I'm surprised there's no jasmine listed because to me this smells like tangerines and lilacs yes but also my favorite snow jasmine tea. Straight up fist full of snow jasmine and lilac petals and fingers wet with fresh clementine juice like I squished one right in my hand. There's also a bit of foliage in the background. Really nice and I can understand why so many people love it

Will edit to add my 2 cents on performance and long term dry down later.

Edit: the performance was terrible but I loved my sample. Got maybe an hour or 2

internetexplaura

I have a lemon tree in my yard and I am obsessed with smelling the blossom flowers when they start to bloom in Spring/Summer. I wanted to buy a fragrance to capture that, and this is the closest I could find. It smells exactly like the orange blossom on the tree. Sadly, like all orange fragrances it does not last. Also perhaps someone can enlighten me -the bottle says Cologne but I was told in store this was an British term for this style and it's not "cologne" as listed per se, but parfum?
This is a spring/summer fragrance and very feminine.

scentsbycobb

Love at first sniff. Imagine walking through an orange grove, just blooming. The wet dew drips off the flowers. The sun starts to rise from the clouds. Bright, citrusy, light. Gorgeous gorgeous GORGEOUS! 10/10.

Performance: Strong
Sillage: Moderate (Perfection- people will smell you, but it is not overpowering)
Longevity: 9/10

Mother Nurgle

Prominent and lovely lilac note for the first hour an a half. Then vague orange blossoms. Then nothing. Pure sillage and longevity. Not FBW.

Lasura

Beautiful lilac scent with a hint of citrus. I can always tell if someone is wearing this, scent is so recognisible. I have love/hate relationship with lilac note, but in this it is very nice and realistic and takes me to those lovely early summer days.

hollandbri

As I sit under my blossoming orange tree, I’m realizing I need this perfume after sampling last week!

It is one of the most true orange blossom scents I have every tried. Almost soliflore leaning. So gorgeous and necessary for this time of year!

cyclone1391

Misleading name. This should be called lilac blossom, not orange blossom. The orange aspect of this is fleeting, and afterwards this is a super realistic lilac scent that is quite long lasting. While I love lilacs, and have them around my home, this is too cloying for me on the skin. I can see this being a very nice candle.

cocoapuffs

A perfect sparkling citrus floral. It's both invigorating and comforting to me, like crawling into cool, crisp sheets after spending the whole day in the sun.

LauramaK

Happiness in a bottle! This is an absolutely beautiful, fresh, clean, juicy, fresh fragrance. It is one of the most realistic citrus fragrances I've ever had. It brings back some wonderful memories of the scent amongst the orange groves in summertime near my childhood home and it does perform best in hotter weather. The opening is tart, somewhat bitter, and just like someone peeling and eating tangerines then the orange blossom and lilac quickly take over. It's uplifting and one of my go-to fragrances during the day and in the warmer months. I just wish it lasted longer!

islandgirlmaranda

I FINALLY got to smell this today! I finally live in an area with actual shopping malls so I sent out to smell all the things! Ending my blissful day of olfactory pleasures, my last stop is at Jo Malone. The very talented gentleman took me through their fragrance library with much knowledge of their colognes. I smelled so many that I loved. He showed me how to layer different scents to create a whole new feel.

I have always loved orange blossom so when he let me smell that it was an instant love. I said yes to the dress, bag it up.

Here at home wearing my new orange blossom...I absolutely love it. FRESH as sunshine. I get top note Tangerine Blossom right away. It quickly goes to the middle notes of Orange Blossom & Lilac. I don't know what Water Lily smells like...but I'm sure it's there. The iris and vetiver keep it smooth. This literally smells like the orange blossom petals, the stems, the leaves, the tree it's growing on, and the grass beneath. This is fresh and **EARTHY AND GREEN.** And smells REAL vs. artificial. LOVE. LOVE. An actual epitome in a scent of orange blossom.

But, this man...showing me everything...knew exactly what he was doing when he sent me home with a free sample of something to go with my bottle of Orange Blossom. I am just getting around to it. The free sample is their Honeysuckle & Davana. I layered the two...and OH MY GOD what is this scentacular sorcery?! It's glorious olfactory pleasure in the highest. (The fragrance H&D on it's own is GOOD!) But layered with Orange Blossom?! Welp!!! Guess I'm heading back to Jo Malone tomorrow to get a bottle of this. I own a lot of perfumes and this has to be at the TOP!

Leelee00

It is a great linear orange blossom scent on me. If you want to soften it pair it with Nemat Vanilla Musk. Almost gives Orange creamsicle vibes.

Vanian

Wearing this today, if you like me, have been in South of Turkey or Greece in May, late spring, or early summer when Orange/Mandarine trees are in bloom, you will know how the smell of the tiny orange flowers lingers in the air brought by the sea breeze up to your noses. This aroma is indeed captured in this fragrance. So beautiful, so I can't even find words to describe it. It is an experience, a real one. How much I would have loved to experience it again at some point in my life. Until then a couple of sprays of it will work the job for me.

barwench

A lovely scent. It reminds me of the orange blossom shampoo from Herbal Essences that my best friend used to use when we were teenagers. Pleasant, but not for me.

soso.sofia

What a beautiful scent! One of the smells I most love is that of strolling by an orange tree in full bloom and stopping to smell the flowers. This smells exactly like orange blossoms. It couldn't be simpler, yet couldn't be more beautiful.

h149

I said I wouldn't try another Jo Malone frag after being disappointed by 4 in a row, but I couldn't help myself because I realized that every time I tried something from JM it smelled like something different than what it's named. So it's basically a dice roll for which note in the pyramid is going to perform on my skin, and curiosity got the better of me.

For this one, I finally got what was advertised. That's orange blossom, alright. Smells pretty true to the real deal. I like it fine, since for me white florals have nostalgic value. I have Diptyque's Olene though, so that's more than enough of this genre for a lifetime.

Nataliemarie

My favorite Orange Blossom & also my favorite Jo Malone. I have gone through bottle & bottles of this over the years, which is very rare for me. A MUST for me, at all times.

erika.isme.98

Smells more like a dirty honeysuckle than orange blossom but that's fine I guess

sansevierria

We had several orange trees in the backyard of the house I grew up in and springtime smelled like this.

panyadoll

So balmy and natural. Somehow both light and heavy. It smells like a sticky summer day, walking in the sun and smelling sweet white flowers. It is quite feminine and refined, but with a sunny wildness to it. Gorgeous, juicy, and inoffensive.

mlleghoul

When I was 18, I was dating the boy who used to live next door to me, but who had since graduated high school and moved to Indiana to attend Notre Dame. We spent a week together on summer break, during which time he had flown down South to stay with me and my family. It was early in this visit that he proposed to me on the beach one night, and I accepted…though something told me that this was a doomed venture. I knew it was not going to last, and yet I agreed anyway; I suppose I just liked the idea that something interesting loomed in the distant future for me. One late afternoon a few days later, we took a drive; the sun hung low on the horizon, the windows were down, and on the wind that ruffled our hair was the musky, sweet scent of orange blossoms, as we had just driven past a massive orange grove. Jo Malone’s Orange Blossom smells like that summer afternoon, sweet blooms and dying suns and the melancholy of tears yet to be shed for reasons you’re not quite sure of.

Aditya chatterjee

This gem from the house of jo malone is smoothest unisex fragrance i ever had. Its smell so natural with the blend of orange and white flowers.
For me its slightly lean toward woman thats why i hesitate to wear it on occasion.
Pros: smooth, well blended, if you are orange lover then just grab it
Cons: longivity is poor, and its not seems unisex as it claim.

Nurse_Ratchet_82

Opens with a huge, sultry sun-warmed jasmine but quickly settles into a weak but straightforward orange zest and orange blossom mixed with generic "aquatic" notes. Small sillage and weak longevity. This would be a good office fragrance if you put it on an hour before arriving, as it's essentially a skin scent.

DT953

This is truly lovely in the opening, but in the dry down it loses something that gives it its juiciness. I wore this with and without body lotion, both sort of suffered the same fate. I understand that layering the scents is one of the intentions, but I also think that they should all stand on their own. This one... sort of does. For the best experience, I find that layering it under English Pear & Freesia is good. For a great soliflore orange blossom (even though this is clearly made up of other things) I find that Monotheme Agrumi di Sicilia is fantastic; its not just orange blossom, but it does have the juicy feeling that the opening of this provides. It's a little similar to Chanel's Paris Biarritz.

I'll happily use up the rest of the sample because its enjoyable enough, but it really isn't worth the asking price like others from the brand are (e.g Peony & Blush Suede)

Atina365

It’s very simple, could be good for layering. It’s inoffensive but I don’t really like the orange note, it’s not succulent.

forkingpaths

Realistic and simple enough to layer. It's just as good as Le Labo's Fleur d'Oranger 27 and way more affordable. I say it's feminine. A more masculine orange would be Dyptique's Eau des Sens Eau, which I wore for years.

mxhansz

If you love orange notes and the *concept* of orange blossom, but find neroli a little too indolic for you, this is so perfect. Photorealistic, juicy mandarin orange picked straight off the tree, with a little bit of the leaf attached and a kiss of orange blossom when it dries down. Excuse me while I savor the crap out of this sample.

aviegravy

slightly citrusy orange blossom. gorgeous as hell. i feel like an imposter when i wear it though.

dsgnmind

I write my reviews for my own future reference.

I've been wearing this most of the summer in between all my other sample blind testing, switching on and off with Hermes Eau de Madarine Ambree. First, I don't see this as feminine at all. I think there are just too many people who want fragrances to smell more feminine than they do. If anything its background makes it lean masculine. The opening is, as others describe, fresh, slightly bitter, like a rind, or near the blossoms in a tree, and yet has a subtlety of an oily grounded base where the opening notes are darker, milder, but not gone. For a summer traveling fragrance it is friendly, approachable, and easy. I find the Hermes has a longer lasting twinkle of orange and the base is amber, so more soothing than that of the Jo Malone. I've also layered Carthusia's Mediterranean which is bright lemon martini. The oiliness of Jo Malone ate it up, and significantly subdued it, while the Hermes danced with it. As much as I like the opening of Orange Blossom and it's characteristics, this will likely be our only summer together.

lingggvs

The citrus is REALLY strong in the opening but once it drys down, it's such a beautiful scent. It's fresh and citrusy and also slightly smells like tea leaves.

kanikanik

I LOVE the scent. It's simple, uncomplicated, pure orange blossom. Nostalgic and innocent. Sweet but not candied. Smells like my childhood backyard, where we had a giant orange tree.

Unfortunately, it sits very close to the skin and doesn't last. I know that orange notes tend to be short lived, but for the price, I'd hope something with more staying power. Still on the hunt for a similarly realistic orange blossom - but one that doesn't fade in an hour.

Lykopa

This is a wonderful fresh peeled orange with underlying blossom scent that gets me compliments every time I wear it. It is like standing under an orange tree in spring.

fibuls

This smells as if you are standing in the middle of an orange grove with all the orange blossoms in full bloom. I lived in Southern California in the San Fernando Valley where there are orange trees in pretty much every house. When those orange flowers bloom, it smells EXACTLY like this. Juicy, tart and so uplifting. So good!!

There is a dupe of this in the Zara line called Fleur D'Oranger (created by Jo Malone herself). That one is not as juicy/tart and not a 100% dupe but it's pretty close - but price is also 1/4 of the OG. I spray that liberally on myself and on my clothes first, then layer the JM Orange Blossom on top to save some $$. Perfect!! However, the lasting power is not very good just like any citrus fragrance. This is good for layering with stronger perfumes for a fresher vibe or just by itself.

I will forever have a bottle in my collection. Even though the price tag for such a short-lasting cologne makes me cry inside. It will be my guilty pleasure.

hachipuppy

This smells exactly like the blood orange tree that was in the backyard of my childhood home. I absolutely adore this scent, bright citrus, green leaves, and strong florals, very wearable and one of the first fragrances (along with nectarine blossom and honey) that got me into collecting. However I feel like it is too expensive for a cologne, hate how the scent fades so quickly. If it was a EDP or even a EDT this fragrance would be a love for me.

smmegst

I lived in southern California for a few years, and for two of those years I lived in a building that had a large bush with white flowers next to the shady entrance, when they were in bloom and the wind blew the air smelled exactly like this. Even though this perfume isn't an everyday scent I will always keep a bottle on me. It doesn't last forever on me, and some claim that it's a bit... matronly, I don't really see it and enjoy this scent anyways!

rerecca

This is my current 'safe' scent that I use when I just want to chill and not try to impress anyone even myself. Rather than citrus, when I smell this the image I got was a green clean scent.

mbalbertini

The opening is like someone is eating a tangerine next to you, a really realistic experience, I was impressed. The dry down on me is way more floral, but I still feel some orange there, probably because of the orange blossom. It is a beautiful scent, I'm just still not sure if I wanna smell like this or if I would prefer to spray this on my house. It makes me smile, but I'm not sure if I will purchase it.

Kkardaper

My mother has a small bottle of this and I decided to spray a little on myself during this perfect spring weather. I love it so much, that I might buy myself a bottle. The orange is so realistic it's not like a creamsicle or synthetic orange. No, it's like the nectar mixed with the peel, it's tangy and smells like pollen. My only dislike would be how close it sits to the skin, there is no projection. Which is a shame for masterpieces like this. It also only lasts for about three hours. Nevertheless it's beautiful.

kendallbee

I’ve been on the hunt for a realistic, lasting orange blossom that doesn’t smell like bathroom cleaner! This is one of the closest, the orange blossom is the most realistic of all I’ve tried so far, I just wish it lasted longer. I’m also not fond of whatever the dry down is on me, it’s a white flower, maybe the water lily? It’s a little overpowering and unpleasant and every now and then smells like BO to me. I think if I mix this with Tom ford neroli portofino it may be perfect…

LSAUG

I got a cheap decant of this in my order of a back up bottle of Violet Ida. This is also my 1st sampling of a Jo Malone London fragrance. Jo Malone Orange Blossom is a very pretty summer floral perfume. It has contrasting elements of crisp lilac juxtaposed against creamy orange blossom. The nose is first greeted w/ a juicy sweet tangerine note but that is quickly taken to the background and the crisp lilac, creamy orange blossom and a very fresh water lily star in the showing of this perfume. This type of perfume is classy, carefree elegance. I will enjoy wearing this when the temps rise high this summer.

KittyDeBeauvoir

This is classic and so tantalisingly GOOD!

There's no mystery to this scent - it's a straight-up, no nonsense, florally-citrus orange blossom scent! *smacks lips*

I remember smelling this at the Jo Malone boutique in the city, and damn-near bought it on the spot. But no. I had another Jo Malone to buy that day (Mimosa & Cardamom, if I remember correctly) and...I'm no space-racing billionaire, so buying two wasn't an option.
But it continued to haunt me.

Eventually, I bit the bullet and ordered a (100ml😅) bottle online, and - well colour me pretty - wasn't it PERFECT?!

This scent is the EPITOME of spring and summer to me! It's so sparkling and fresh and classy and an all-round sexy citrus fragrance. I want to live in this cloud forever (or at least until the colder seasons).

That tangy tangerine is sublime (Sub...lime, perhaps? A citrus joke already?! Kekekekekeke!). That, with the dominant orange blossom, makes this so effervescent that it low-key thrills me and makes my mouth water. The water lily and lilac makes this gentle and - yep - classy. I almost thought feminine, but - nope - this is unisex. Heck yeah, I want to smell this on my husband (but won't coz he's a stubborn devil). I suspect the vetiver grounds this and helps maintain the unisex vibe, but it's not a earthy, hay-like scent. The iris I don't smell so much, but I can't be mad.

The longevity is decent for an EDC. I get about 3 hours out of it. Unless I spray like a sugared-up toddler, this quickly becomes a skin scent. So yes. I do spray rather a lot for that Forever Cloud.

Sadly, a low-point is them JM prices for EDCs. It's not cool. Yes, so many of the scents are gorgeous/masterpieces, but nobody is impressed with paying through the nose for perfumes that have questionable longevity and sillage.
Even for an all-round sexy citrus.🍊

How is citrus sexy?
I dunno. Ask Jo Malone. I just work here.

Repurchase-worthy!

Kitty rating: 8.5-9/10. (It's just gorgeous, okay?).
Hubby rating: 8/10 - 'Mmm! Oh yeah - not bad! An 8, not an 8.5. Is it jasmine? No? Rose? No? Whatever, it's an 8."

chatnoirr

I smelled it once and just knew i had to buy it. I cant describe how amazing, clean and natural the smell is. Its sweet but not in an intoxicating powdery chemical way, its like smelling a freshly picked orange flower. I love this perfume with all my being, and with that in mind i still cant justify the price :(( its like cheap body spray for 5$, completely gone in an hour. I dont understand why they price so high, its not even worth half of it

Controlledbyscent31

This is just like love by killian pure orange blossom 🤤 the only scent from Jo malone I have liked so far

shannfernando

This is the exact experience of sitting on slightly dried grass in the shade of an orange tree filled with it’s sweet scented blossoms on a lazy afternoon! As the breeze kicks up the smell of earths heavenly perfume, we can’t help but feel truly blessed.

Contrary to the comments below, I happen to think that the earthy factor gives perfect balance to this perfume. If it’s not balanced out as such, orange blossoms can be quite an overwhelming scent.

I am in awe of the scent profile and how true to nature it is!

Very photorealistic, semi-soliflore perfume that actually lasts pretty decently on clothes! (I got a tester bottle - maybe that’s why the performance is better ?)

Alireza.D2

Orange blossoms but not fresh , on heavy iris floral base.vetiver is completely faint here.
If you are looking for some kind of fresh citrusy floral scent , you will not find it here as the orange blossom is rather dirty and a little dry here but somehow I love to use it from time to time as I find it linear simple and beautiful scent.
It leans toward feminin scent though.
3.75/5

Spring days and summer nights.
Weak projection and fair longevity.

narmin.jova

To me it doesn't smell like orange blossom or fresh at all, it has a very strong earthy smell, also has strong iris notes. Disappointed, wanted a fresh, clean, citrusy perfume :(

thiagovidotto

On my skin, one spray lasted for 9 hours and projected for 5-6 hours.
Not sure how nor why, but this is quite strong on me.

The scent is primarily floral, then citrusy. The flowers sometimes smell a bit plasticky or synthetic, but maybe that's because I was smelling it from too close.

It is a great representation of orange and tangerine flowers. Absolutely lovely, but, again, very strong and sharp.

Crazy how this one performs compared with other Jo Malone scents!

Minalerie

Beautiful Orange Blossom scent that brings me back to when our orchard was in bloom. Straightforward, not complicated. Because of its simplicity, it is stunning.

Em1984

Smells totally as pure orange Blossom + jasmine. In my view cheap and too strong smell. I got headache while wearing.

FlorecitaBonita

The person kind of wants people to stay away, the orange citrus smell at the beginning is not the floral or femenine sweet one, but a more earthy one, I say stay away because is not an inviting perfume, its a bit
"dirty" so does smell a bit sexual but not "pretty" sexual more earthy sexual, not sesual either.

It smells as a great candle smell, like when you go buy high end candles that smell delicious but you decided
to WEAR it..... It's a not sure what to make of it as a perfume....

I love the scent for aromatheraphy or candles, etc but to wear it's too "earthy" for my taste,
it requires a special occassion as I can't see people scratching their heads not sure if they like it or not,
it's definitely not something men expect a woman to wear and it's too sweet and orangy for a masculine scent, too potent for office and can put some people off since it's a "particular" smell and not safe.

I can see it in a brothel, or at a rock concert, or at some underground party... also perhaps burning man, a place where distinct aromas or more earthy / animalic [smelling like pure earth or in this case an orange! with vetiver] might be a turn on.

On a date I see it being a confusing decision and migth give an uninviting aura, there's other "mysterious" scents also animalic that are sensual and inviting while being sexual.

This is pure earth,
at an office, it might bother people if they hate smelling an orange and vetiver [which is strong] next to them all day...

I had a mini of this from around 2016 and it was the perfect orange blossom scent so when it started running out last year, I bought a full bottle. I don't know if it has been reformulated since then or what but now it is definitely more orange than blossom. Still love it for layering, especially with Wood Sage & Sea Salt.
I know there was a limited edition bottle in 2019 and the notes of that fragrance definitely match the notes that I smell in my bottle so maybe they had more of that fragrance but none of the orange bottles. As it ages, the floral is coming out more so maybe it was just because my mini was old lol. Hope it hasn't been permanently reformulated from the fragrance I used to know!

MsFCAS

I like this one and agree with others that it's a pretty straightforward orange blossom scent, on the sweet side, and I think I also get a bit of the orange juice. I grew up near orange groves and when the trees are in bloom, the scent in the groves is intoxicating. This scent doesn't go all the way there, but it's reminiscent. I think it's a short-lived scent, but I got compliments all day long the last time I wore this, so other people smell it after I've gone nose-blind to it, apparently.

scnofthcrime

One of the more realistic orange blossom fragrances. This smells like orange blossoms wafting through the air in Arizona. This is such a specific scent memory for me. I will say I don't really detect anything else in this. It's orange blossom all the way down. Like most Jo Malones the lasting power sucks (an hour or two tops) and it doesn't project much past the first 10 minutes. I wouldn't mind owning this, but I'm hesitant to cough up the cash due to the price versus the lasting power.

LaContessina

I remember having had a sample back in 2005 and it was the most lively orange blossom scent (i had taken notes of how vividly it reflected the real flower) although short lived.

Now i have purchased a new bottle, batch of 2017, and it smells way different.

What I can smell now is a sweet, waxy tangerine peel. Sweet Orange peel. Candied orange (similar to Bond 9 Little Italy). Very little to no orange blossom flower.
The drydown has prominent lilac with an almost sweet, waxy, spicy feel.
I like my orange blossoms to be fresh and flowery refreshing.
This one is now fruity, waxy sweet.
Not unpleasant at all but very different from what i remembered.
Am I wrong or anyone can relate to what I'm feeling here?

style1015

Orange Blossom Cologne is basically what it says: it smells like orange blossom. Nothing complex, no craziness, just a floral, beautiful orange blossom smell. I'd recommend getting it if you love the orange blossom note and would love layering it, or just wearing it by itself. I really enjoy the scent of orange blossoms- it's very comforting and easy to wear, yet luxurious.

I usually am not one for layering, but I had the idea this morning to layer Orange Blossom Cologne with Creed's Virgin Island Water and the result was heavenly. Many people talk about the poor performance of both scents however when layered on me it's been going strong for 7 hours so far.

Janlaw

This perfume fizzles as soon as you spray it.

rosegoldrosie

This is really lovely, but it is one I find a bit mature for me (age 20). I purchased a sample of it online as there are no Jo Malone stockists near me. It is a very fragrant white floral and citrus scent, and it smells very authentic to me, like real flowers and fruit rather than a synthetic concoction. I find it quite stunning and well blended, and can definitely see this being able to be worn on any occasion or season. It has decent sillage and lasting power, and smells and feels like a high quality fragrance, in my opinion. However, I personally find it too mature in the sense I can see my mother or grandmother wearing this rather than myself, I think I am too young for it at the moment and that's okay! Obviously fragrance doesn't have an age but for me personally I find certain scents either too mature or too immature. This is really beautiful though, and I look forward to trying more scents from Jo Malone as they have always intrigued me.

stephdray

It smells more like an orange leaf, branch, and rind than it does blossom. And maybe even more tangerine than orange. I guess I was hoping more for a floral. It’s gone already from my skin but it’s sitting out there on my clothes like I spilled orange juice on myself. Certainly not unpleasant but I wouldn’t ever wear it again.

xxsaphxx

No staying power whatsoever, will be using this as a car spray….

DiscoPolga

I am confused by this fragrance. I'm on a search for the perfect neroli and/or orange blossom scent, but this one is pure jasmine on me...am I losing my senses?? I'm glad there are others below who noticed that too. I wouldn't call it an orange blossom frag at all - maybe it doesn't agree with my body chemistry. Funnily, jasmine isn't even listed in the notes. So confused. Test before you buy!

courtny78

This is my BTS bias Park Jimin's favorite fragrance, and It is sweet and pretty. Great for the spring and summer months.

Dominikaaa

Very pretty and authentic orange blossom. It smells green and fresh, there is no sweetness to it really. Like someone said - it smells almost like crushed piece of orange tree branch, blossoms and some leaves. And that's all there is.
Pretty, fresh, bright. Nice refresher for spring and summer.
The smell disappears in less than an hour.
It is so overpriced for what it is. I will happily use it up almost as a fresh summery mist but I would not buy this again, and in fact with that I decided it was the last time I bought anything from Jo Malone.

NicoSuave

Confession: I don't like Jo Malone.

"Here are two notes in a weak EDC concentration at a stratospheric price. We designed it to be layered with our other weak two-note EDC's, also at stratospheric prices... so you will end up paying twice the double-markup for half the projection with twice the trouble."

Sorry, I don't buy it. Incomplete formulations don't get top dollar.

Ah, but what if the sheer quality of Maloney Baloney made it worth the exorbitant price and ridiculous hassle? Well, that would be something if it were true, but it isn't. Many of these scents devolve quite a bit when drying down... often into Bath & Body Works territory. Which tends not to happen with more established houses such as Guerlain, Creed, Dior, Acqua di Parma, Tom Ford, Xerjoff, and so forth.

As for Orange Blossom? Well, the opening is nicely tangeriney with discernable iris, neroli, and some sweetness. But the drydown goes kind of Awesome Orange with a strangely odd finish at the tippy-end. Fresh corn? Hay? Asparagus? A bit funky and synthetic.

Orange is a tricky scent to pull off without smelling artificial, cloyingly sweet, or boring. Try these instead: Acqua di Parma - Mandorlo di Sicilia... and Note di Colonia IV. Nobody does citrus better than ADP.

Grade: C-
Quick take: orange cleaner funk

ckorp8

This is the smell of bright happiness. Like how happiness is, fresh and bright at the start like the sharp tangerine top note, only to dwindle down, still lovely but not as much, like the dry down scent of this perfume. Also like happiness, it might be rather noticeable when first sprayed, but dwindled down all too quickly, staying as skin scent for a long while.

Carly430

Fresh, bright, and perfect for Spring and Summer! Upon applying, I detect fresh orange blossom and a honeysuckle note that lingers throughout the day. Tangerine blossom takes over as this fragrance wears down, and continues its bright and fresh accord without cloying sweetness. I only wish this fragrance were a touch stronger. As someone who struggles to find scents that don't go sour or deteriorate on my skin, this one delivers and will be in my Spring/Summer rotation for years to come.

Grefvinnan

This is a quite green orange blossom, it smells like as if you took an entire branch from an orange tree and made it into perfume; the blossoms, the twigs, the leaves.

anna1987

The initial spray was good, soft citrusy orange blossom. And the scent evokes memories of places like Marbella, Malaga, generally the South of Spain which I LOVE. However...the more I smell it on the back of my hand the more i get nauseous and dizzy which could develop into a migraine. I love the smell of jasmine and orange blossom in the nature and also mixed in a perfume but the pure smell of it on my skin makes me nauseous...sad but true. However, it is a well made scent it‘s just not for me.

RainbowGirl

I am new to fragrance. One of the things I have learned about myself, is that I love fragrances with orange blossom notes. However, that love does not include Jo Malone Orange Blossom.

Like the previous reviewer, I am flabbergasted over how unlikable this scent is. This was my first Jo Malone purchase, and I believed I was treating myself to something elegant and beautiful. It's possible this fragrance could have been saved with brighter orange notes, but the tiny hint of blossom you get at first, is quickly overtaken by an odd smell of what I expect a tree's anus would smell like if it had one. I have never smelled anything like it. Is it... iris? Vetiver?

I tried to wait it out, to see if there was something hidden in the base notes to justify the extravagant price, but gave up as I typed this, and sprayed Hugo Boss Deep Red liberally all over me until that tree anus smell faded. If this is what an actual orange tree smells like, I think I will avoid Florida.

echurch1979

This will be a brief and unpopular review, that will only sting for a second. I am an easy sell when it comes to certain notes in fragrances, so I was shocked when I smelled what Jo Malone had to offer. Perhaps I placed them on a pedestal. If I wasn't going to, their prices surely would. Orange Blossom! All it had to do was be the least bit likeable, and I would have virtuously sung its praise, almost by way of nodding to how glamorous it was that I even owned one. If I ever get my hands on Portrait of a Lady, you better believe I'll put it on a bumper sticker: Proud Mom of a Frederic Malle perfume! But Jo couldn't even give me that. What I received was a bottle of what it would smell like if an orange perspired. That's it folks, $120 worth of orange sweat. Last little silver lining: because of brand name alone, I was able to flip it for the purchase price. It's not much, but it'll have to do to close this story for good. The end!

The most natural, light, summery orange blossom I've ever smelled. Not headache inducing at all. Within 30 minutes, I can barely smell it anymore.

"Delicate Sheer Orange Blossoms"

Jo Malone has pulled off a really delightful orange blossom soliflore. Sometimes when people describe scents I wonder if they have ever smelled the real thing the scent was created to recall? JM Orange Blossom truly evokes actual orange blossoms in nature in the most delicate, sheer and airy manner. To be technical, I'm sure this has notes of honeysuckle, citruses, lilacs or whatever else, but the overall aroma is simply about sitting under an orange blossom tree in bloom with a pinch of citrus juice. It's refreshing, sweet and simply delightful. Longevity and sillage are on the low side (as are most things from JM).

If I could afford to fill my house with JM Orange Blossom candles I absolutely would.

Bottom line: super pretty and cheerful.

Em1984

Smells like pure jasmin and no other notes.
Overpriced, very strong at 1st sign but then doesn't hold too long. I got headache when I worn it. Returned to the store where I purchased it.

natasha.wahyudihardjo

Jo Malone has two fragrances that are definitely worth the $$$: this and Blackberry & Bay. I heard that Duchess Catherine had JM's Orange Blossom candles lit in Westminster Abbey during her wedding ceremony. I could not blame her, this scent is sooo lovely that I especially requested for my name to be engraved on the bottle at JM's flagship store in Regent Street. Orange Blossom is a likable girl but she is far from shallow and airheaded.

I know this is more of a spring fragrance, but it will always remind me of the time I visited London in fall. Crisp autumn leaves, sun that is more golden than a bed of gold, chilly wind stroking my cheeks, and the scent of this wafting from my coat.

In fact, I am thinking of getting another bottle ASAP.

Lalunalynn

Oh god, I don't know, I really didn't like this. I had to scrub it off. It just smelled musty, and there's something that gives it a bad breath kinda vibe. I don't know why but it made feel like vomiting. Horrible on me.

whimsyandhoney

Oh, this one stopped me in my tracks.
It smells exactly of walking down the streets of Sevilla when all of the orange trees are blossoming. So lovely, fresh, and personally nostalgic.

punky9791

Tried a sample of this. First inhale revealed honeysuckle and linden, although those notes are not in the fragrance. It was very sweet and the linden notes remained. I feel like this one of the few perfumes that smells very much the same from the first spray to the end of its course. Sadly, this only lasted--and close to the skin, for that matter--for less than 3 hours.

I really wanted to like this as it smelled nice when I sprayed it on paper. However Jo Malone perfumes just don’t work well with my skin. I wish I knew which note it is that turns musty and cloying on me as I had the same problem with JM Myrrh and Tonka. It made my nauseous after a few seconds. I wouldn’t say my experience will reflect everyone’s experience with this scent due to differing skin chemistries however I wouldn’t blind buy this. Get a sample first. The sillage is good though! I didn’t have it on long enough to test it’s longevity.

Ecume de Rose

This is my favorite orange blossom fragrance. I'm comparing it to Fleur d'Oranger by Serge Lutens, Sens by Dyptique and Le Labo Fleur d'Oranger. It is my favorite because to me it is the most orange blossom one. I like it on an Indian summer day (or perhaps climate change 68 F = 20 C in November) like today.

nordhaul

Layered this over Oud Bergamot and
Red Roses for bed. I hope I can sleep

missdreamer

Fresh scent that can be worn any time.

KayleeAp

This one is straight up orange blossom, with a slight jasmine, or even orange rind-like edge to make it a bit darker (rather than a tart citrus fragrance). If orange blossom is your thing, you will likely find this scent pleasing and true to real life. This scent is fantastic for layering - true to Jo Malone's style. It is a light sent that sits close to skin, not at all a heavy hitter. The only issue I have with this one is that it lasts only an hour or two on me, even when layered. This happens to me with other orange blossom scents as well. Big bummer.

This one is similar to Guerlain's Mandarine Basilic, which I enjoy too, so much that I did not find the need for both in my collection. MB would be slightly more brighter, fresher, with just a touch of basil to my nose (citrus is still the star). MB also has poor longevity on me, in case anyone is curious.

cranky137

Orange Blossom open with orange Blossom, very fruity. After a while, you will get a watery aspect of a water lily, backed up by the neroli-aspect.

Great and fresh.

I remove all neroli/orange blossoms scents in my Collection because I just don't really lean towards wearing these.

JSpines

This is a really beautiful fragrance. Right from the get go I can smell the lilac being very prominent on my skin. Reminds me of when I was a child and I'd pick lilacs and bring them home for my mother and the smell would waft through the entire house. The orange blossom is also very nicely blended in and smooth. These two notes are what I predominantly smell on my skin. I love when I wear it and catch whiffs of it all through the day. It's a scent that just makes you feel happy and uplifted. I have such a tiny bottle of it so it's used sparingly to make it last. I would love to get a big bottle one day. I have no problem with its lasting power either. At the end of the day I can still smell it. This one is a must have!

zenais86

Very flowery ( orange blossom/gelsomine perfume. It is sa safety fragrance but for me is more feminine than masculine but also be for sure weared by males. Longevity/sillage are both very good!

GinCatsBooks

My first introduction to this wonderful scent was when I met a housemate for the first time, every time she walked from room to room, there would be a gorgeous, warm, clean, cotton like scent that trailed with her, I ended up having to ask what it was because it was so intoxicating and uplifting, it turned out that it was this, and a year ago I decided to buy my very own bottle.

Orange blossom is a very straightforward, uncomplicated scent that is easy to wear casually or on a semi formal occasion, it really is an excellent staple in my wardrobe. I also find it perfectly suited to any season and any time of day, though I do love this the most during the warmer seasons.

Notes wise I mainly get orange blossom and then after 4 hours of wear I get orange blossom melded with lilac, its simple but effective, it reminds me of Sunrise by Norah Jones, in fragrance form, it puts a smile on my face whenever I wear it. Longevity for an EDC is great, I get about 8 hours out of it with close to skin silage, its also worth noting that it also lasts ages on clothes, so for anyone wanting to boost the longevity, I recommend spraying it on your clothes as well as your skin!

I will always repurchase this, its a bottle of feel good and happy memories <3

RedLipsReview

It smells like orange juice, not orange blossoms. Orange blossoms have a soft citrusy smell. But this smells as if it was made in the Tropicana factory. It is not unpleasant and it is fresh. I like smelling it on a hot day, not on my skin but on paper or from the bottle. It has good longevity and sillage.

Inés33

Have you ever sheltered yourself under a blooming orange tree on a rainy day? ... for that is exactly the smell

agarobka

Jo Malone has so many great fragrances and yet... so few smell good on me. Linear as they are they also work with one's chemistry so I'd recommend trying them on before buying.

Having said that I must confess Orange Blossom is my newest love from the house. And my 4th Jo Malone fragrance so far that I can label with "love". Others being: Wood Sage & Sea Salt, Blackberry & Bay, and Jasmine Samback & Marigold.

From those four Orange Blossom speaks "spring" the loudest. It's flowers in full bloom and not in a small quantity. Very literally orange flowers and absolutely natural smelling ones. It's not very pleasant weather right now in the Netherlands, cold and rainy days, but Orange Blossom used at the morning is like warm sun to the soul. Brings smile in an instant and puts me in a good mood for the whole day, as surprisingly this fragrance lasts quite long on me. More than 5-6 hours. Which is a case of a big accomplishment I must admit since my skin tends to "eat" all fragrances pretty fast. I also tried to mix it with the least potent one from my Malone bottles - Wood Sage & Sea Salt - and I do like this combination very much. Gives Wood Sage the power it lacks.

So thanks to Black Friday deals I have now another lovely Jo Malone fragrance and armed with it I can fight the dull fall weather like a pro!

BubbleBee

Orange top note. Smells comfort, easy going, light, very suitable for summer time. But quite expensive as it cost HKD600. Last only 3-4hrs

makeupmaven1967

I read somewhere that Westminster Abbey was filled with candles in this scent for the marriage of Prince William and Catherine Middleton. Do not know why I felt compelled to mention this bit of minutiae. Maybe someone can use it while playing Trivial Pursuit Perfume Heads Edition.

Petals_and_Perfumes

Every early spring, I put all the windows down in my car and drive down into the valley to smell the orange blossoms blooming. Rows upon rows of orange trees, miles-long. (I could easily find a home with citrus trees, but scorpions love them too, so nope!) I imagine heaven has the scent of orange blossoms - not just for a few weeks as we have here in the Sonoran Desert - but forever and always.

Jo Malone Orange Blossom Cologne is such a close match - I'm so glad I found it. I've bought other fragrances which state they smell like authentic orange blossom, but I always have ended up disappointed because they are so wrong - I get so frustrated and sometimes ask the perfume bottles, "Have your creators ever even experienced true orange trees blossoming?!"

Jo Malone CLEARLY did her homework when she created this 3.4 oz of perfection. I'll always buy it, even though it doesn't last more than 2 hours at best.

RUDOLFO512

Summer comes in many delicious scents, one of them being orange blossom. Being from South Florida I am very familiar with this aromatic flower. I used to have an orange tree in my back yard and when the flowers blossomed the scent filled the entire area.
Orange Blossom by Jo Malone reminds me exactly of that scent.
Orange blossoms rounded off by clementine, citron and lilac. Perfect for hot summer days. I love it!

AHeartLikeMine

Very, very floral. True scent of orange trees in bloom. Sits fairly close to skin, but one spray is powerful.

stephanieklein

This is gorgeous. I want to smell of this all the time. My only issue with this glorious scent is that it's very close to the skin. I will never be able to add enough. I want to be in a cloud of this scent for all time. It's remarkable, but it doesn't project, even when you add it to your clothes. Wish it lasted longer too.

Still buying a BIG full bottle so I can cover myself in this sumptuous juice.

justfloral

It smells exactly like orange blossom.

natasha.wahyudihardjo

Wow, wow, wow. Smelling this got me wondering if Grasse (a town in France) -- where noses of fashion houses learn perfumery -- actually smells like this.

This came as a surprise to me since I'm usually not big on citrus scents. Even when eating, I tend to skip oranges as I do not particularly like the smell oranges give.

This has officially become my go-to fragrance that I keep coming back to. With this scent, I do not tire of it at all. I do not get this with Peony & Blush Suede though I can swear to death that I really love that one. With other fragrances, there will be a period where you can go 'meh' after wearing them for some time. You know that feeling? Where you kind of want a break from that scent for a certain time before coming back to it.

This smells very citrusy and transforms into a very pretty floral on me. And I really like the fact that the orange blossom stays on me until it eventually fades. Plus, I think this scent is quite a complex one. Sure, it is a straightforward orange blossom. But when I sniff my arms, it takes me to sensing layers of olfactory pleasure. Can't explain. It is perfect.

dianaaraminta

This has a juicy orange scent initially, but fades to a gentle citrus rather quickly. On me, Orange Blossom has a distinct bitter tea scent with hints of jasmine. It's a mature yet lively scent.

I actually don't like this on my clothes. For me, it needs the warmth of my skin to bring out the gentle citrus. Otherwise it gets pretty bitter.

Michelle12345678

Everyone says this smells like the beach.

perfumeaddiction

A very juicy and sweet well done fragrance by Jo Malone. I was expecting something like nectarines for some reason. This is the floral blossom part of the orange tree. It's sweet and floral with light orange in the background. It's sweeter then I had expected it to be. My bottle which is vintage and has turned darker orange has tremendous strength and lasting power. Sometimes I think I get a wiff of Orange Pez candy. It's a win in my book!

17seyed

My hometown Shiraz is famous for it's almost countless gardens. It has multiple streets smelling entirely like flowers, blossoms, and fragrant plants during the lovely month of May.
The orange blossom note in this takes me right back to the 14 years of my life that I spent there. Truly authentic and natural. Purchased a full bottle for my mother right after I smelled it for the first time.

peppermoon

I love orange blossoms, and this juicy scent from Jo Malone is so enjoyable to spritz in the hot summer. It does open up with a burst of clementine juice and orange peel oil, like peeling a "cutie" for a snack. Then it quickly becomes a sheer and watery orange blossom with a slight laundry clean aspect underneath (I'm thinking that's the lotus and lilac) - but not in a harsh detergent way, more like rolling around in some sheets that are fresh from the dryer. It's a refreshing scent, but I'm not sure I would ever spring for a bottle - the longevity and sillage are low and I'm still working my way through several samples of it.
So, it's a love for me, but with reservations. If this cost less I'd buy a big bottle and spray it during the day to get those juicy top notes.

I love the way Jo Malone fragrances are so straightforward. Smells like beautiful orange blossom and clementine juice. This fragrance is happiness in a bottle. I’m in love with this scent and can’t get enough of it. I know that Jo Malone fragrances are not for everyone, but this house seems to be able to do no wrong for me. I don’t like big surprises when I blind buy a fragrance (who does right?) This is really the only house I will blind buy from because their fragrances are so linear.

mutmiu

This is a very realistic fragrance, so true to its name. Sweet, simply orange blossom, almost a soliflore to my nose.

wan.syahmir.amiruddin

This was another blind buy from me that i regret...you see culture and climate plays an essential role in whether we like or loathe perfumes...as to where i hail...this fragrance resembles some flowers that we use for the funeral...so when i wore this everybody was like.....who died??? Uh uh...it was a no....any way....the lasting was poor...and i certainly wont rebuy this again

Konga5000

If you want the same thing in an "intense" format:
TRY Commodity Nectar! Holy sh*t ! It's Jo Malone's Orange Blossom on steriods!

ladypenelope

Has anyone try Jenny Glow orange blossom , its wonderful and long lasting .

meg0825

I've really been loving all things orange blossom lately, so I was very excited when my friend gave me a sample of this. It starts off very sweet and citrusy, which I really liked, but then the lilac takes over and pretty much dominates the fragrance. I don't dislike lilac at all, but it's just not what I expected. I wish the orange blossom phase lasted longer.

Hara1980

Even though it smells lovely just like a fresh orange blossom bouquet, it lasts so little that it's advisable to purchase it only if you are looking for a perfume for intimate and personal moments.

Hautedad

I searched desperately for a scent that smells just like an orchard of orange trees in bloom and finally found it here. Living in Southern California I get to enjoy the real thing but only for a short time in spring and it’s one of my favorite smells. This allows me to enjoy it all year long. Not very long lasting (as expected of an EDC) and sillage is not very impressive but that’s okay because the scent is just for me and my slice of olfactory heaven.

CasuallyFragrant

How does one write a negative review without insulting someone's fav scent?
To be honest I get mildly upset when I see reviews bashing my fav scents calling them horrid names. It's like leave my precious scents alone!

With that said I need to leave my first negative review on this site. Whether it's to track the scents I've sampled or just to get my frustrations out on something I thought I would love, I feel compelled to.

Let me start by saying I love Jo Malone. I own a few fragrances, body care and linen sprays and I love them. However, there is one scent I absolutely cannot stand to smell - I've tried it on paper, I even sprayed myself (instant scrubber) and my mom (interestingly she loved it) and its Jo Malone's Orange Blossom. I find the orange "juice" smell weak and instead I get an intense floral that I just can't be around. Is it possible to have an aversion to orange blossoms? If it is, this is probably what is happening to me.

I've never worn it long enough to test sillage or longevity, and was a little upset about not liking this scent, as I love oranges and orange scents. Just wasn't for me.

Countrygurl

this scent goes very well with Jergens new body lotion that is honey and orange blossom! love it

AHalb

This is my favorite Jo Malone scent and one I reach for the most. It definitely has a pronounced orange blossom scent but more. It's not an overpowering scent, so I like wearing it when I go to work because I know it is not objectionable. I really hate smelling other people's aggressive fragrances. When I have a headache, the last thing I need to be assaulted by someone's fragrance. Many colognes, Jo Malone's included, smell fantastic in the bottle but turn on me. Once I was at Macy's. I sprayed a perfume on my wrist and in 15 minutes, it smelled like cat urine. Not exaggerating. So I always have to try scents on. It's a great excuse for asking for samples without feeling guilty and like a greedy lookie-loo. Anyway, this scent smells great. For as long as it last, which is not very long. After a few hours, I can sort of smell it if I smash my nose to my arm.

cyan

Running in Tucson in the morning in the spring when the orange trees are blooming - this is so realistic.

Good silage and long lasting.

The perfect orange blossom fragrance.

I have a natural orange blossom absolute and Jo Malone's Orange Blossom does indeed feel like the real thing - albeit enhanced and more lovely.

It has a fairly deep white petal floral-ness, but not sweet thanks to green notes which lead it in the direction of eau de cologne but stop short of that simplicity, also a thankful lack of vanilla. I'd say it's actually mildly animalic and quite sensuous in its way.

It's ideal for a simple, pretty and natural perfume choice - when you don't want to feel too dressed up or obvious.

For orange blossom kicks I've tried Seville au Laube, Escale Portofino, Bottega Venetta's Knot, Elie Saab Le Parfum, MFK's APOM, Prada's Fleurs d'oranger and Lutens Fleur d'Oranger - Malone's Orange Blossom is easiest to wear of all these, though less elegant than Knot, less pretty than the Prada, less intense than Seville Au Laube, nicer than Escale Portofino and far more natural/less in your face than the MFK or Elie Saab. I'd actually rather have this than any of those. It's definitely one of Jo Malone's best.

Uplifting, easy on the nose, lovely for summer days and nights.

dante11

this is a pretty light scent. i was gifted several samples by another fragrance lover.
the only thing i get from this is orange -genuine blossoms ripe on the limb-ripe with pollen-very ripe and realistic-i was surprised-i was expecting something more synthetic-but this is very realistic to me-my mother loved orange blossoms-and i can remember them as a child-and this brings back so many good memories
1 spray is plenty-any more and you will over do it-and it will be too overwhelming....lasts at least 6-7 hours and then became skin scent-i still catch a whiff here an there 8 hours later.

Sciella

Am i the only one who think that it's smell similar to Estee Lauder Private Colletion Tuberose Gardenia?

Yah-el

I'd like to suggest a less expensive way to wear this fragrance. You can buy the bath oil ($65 for 8.5 ounces) and dab it on where you want. I learned this trick from my mom who used to do the same thing with Chanel in the 1970s.

By the way, this scent is awesome!

Gemini12

Oh how I love this perfume! It's a bright happy blend of clementine and light white flowers. It's slightly zesty, subtly floral and utterly feminine. I just wish it lasted longer on my skin...I can't justify the price for something that only lasts a few hours on my skin.

beatrix75

My first JM scent and it's beautiful amazing feminine elegant fragrance. Here in Sweden everywhere in this time you can smell the lilacs white and Lilla lilacs in the street and this perfume it's mean Sweden for me together with the hint of orange blossom witch I compared with Sicilia nice comparison:))))) vell I am in love with the longevity and silage it's very good on my skin, definitely a romantic scent

Arlene-Beatrix

Nice, subtle orange blossom scent. I like it, but it's just too plain for me.

ronin.jose

A sweeter take on the indolic white floraly smell of orange blossom.
It has a soft sweet orangy opening, then it gives way to the white floral orange blossom, while the sweet orange note stays on the back.

Perfumeaddict777

This is my happy scent! I can not be gloomy or stressed when I'm wearing this! I wear it with the body cream and it lasts all day with a beautiful natural clean sillage. It's so fresh and invigorating. It smells like the detox paste that was put all over my body when I had a body wrap done at the spa years ago! I always loved that scent and never forgot how great it smelled and Jo Malone orange blossom smells exactly like it. Orange flower, tangerine, clean, happy, fresh and very energizing. I think it's worth every penny:)

sam1129

Does anyone else find that the formula is different in the US and the UK?

I had a bottle that I bought in the UK, and the smell lasted all day, in fact I would get compliments on it from people sitting a few feet away at least an hour after I put it on, and my boyfriend would always comment that I still smelled of Orange Blossom when I came home in the evening.

However I recently bought a bottle in NY and I feel like it's water! It's nearly noon and I can barely smell it on myself. Is it my imagination or do I have to go back to London to buy the real thing?

Teresa1019

When I layered this fragrance with lime blossom, it reminds me of innocence, spring, soapy, floral garden walk.
This layering is one of my favourite layering ever!
On its own it's awesome and easygoing with my other collections in the brand.
Classic yet special, although you might've thought it's only another orange blossom in the market, but this one is quality , simple, clean, authentic orange blossom.
This fragrance smelt dominated by orange blossom of course but the dry down is what makes the skin scent pretty or to make the layering interesting!

Janlaw

Sweet mist of oranges....always a great pick me up.

Kim673

Almost...perfect! Am I the only one who detects a mothball-ish type odor, along with the orange blossom? $65.00 at Nordstrom's!

elisecathlene

I really really wanted to like this because when it was paired with wood sage & sea salt, I really liked how it smelled on my skin. I left the store with one 30ml bottle of this and started getting a massive headache when I arrived at home. The first sniff is really really good, it really does smell like the flower of an orange, but after a few seconds, it smells really bad, it made me nauseous, I just wanted to take it off from my skin. Now I am left with a brand new bottle which I dont know what to do with

Konga5000

UPDATE: I cannot afford to keep replacing my one single bottle of this (sigh) BUT I have to say that this is the longest lasting Orange Blossom scent you can buy!

I get a few "all day whiffs" from this bottle that is several years old already!

Sooooo beautiful and natural smelling. So worth the price!

Mayenaise

Such a simple, linear, and wonderfully memorable scent. It's subtle yet distinct. The whiffs of it i catch while i wear it makes me feel positively upbeat.

aniston

Very similar with Jennifer Aniston's original perfume but stronger.
For me smells more of massage oil.

abra_

Pure orange blossom, green notes; a lovely crisp watery quality. The green take the edge off the sweet. Really enjoying this.

EsmeCrowfoot

It smells like you've peeled a tangerine next to a pot of Chinese jasmine tea - in a good way!
Fresh and clean and very natural-smelling, it doesn't smell chemically at all. I like it.

heenimlover

At first smell i dislike the smell because it is too strong for me. But after a few times wearing it, i think it is a pleasant smell. Can wear it to office.

sea of flowers

Very happy with my new perfume! Optimistic, fruity floral orange blossom! I was hesitating between this one and Lancome's O de l'Orangerie, but I am very happy I chose this instead. I had a wonderful surprise after a few hours, as it reminds me of Miss Dior Cherie l'Eau, my first and true perfume love that has been stupidly discontinued. It has the same simplicity and that something special in the drydown, that becomes a very natural white flower animalic note. I liked the opening of O de l'Orangerie that reminded me of Miss Dior, but the drydown became too candy-like. Jo Malone also smells more natural and of essential aromatherapy oils as opposed to chemical. The main difference between Miss Dior and Jo Malone's Orange Blossom would be the flower note, you can sense a very realistic Orange Blossom while in Miss Dior it was a more generic white flower (but oh, what an exquisite flower - it was gardenia, but not an intoxicating gardenia). It also smells more grown up, Miss Dior, even if it was refined and sophisticated had something youthful about it and was less sharp. I have a crush on orange blossom, as I have lived in Rome and the smell under Giardini degli Aranci in Spring was the most beautiful there is in this world, and I can say this perfume does a great job at interpreting that smell.

natrusso91

I live in a cold climate and keep potted citrus trees indoors just for their wonderful scent. This perfume is the closest thing I have found to the smell of those trees in bloom. Unfortunately, it is just as fleeting!

mml12321

It's surprisingly versatile - been wearing it for many years now. My go to work perfume.. It makes me happy.

LuxAestiva

If you prefer your orange blossom fragrances to be delicate and fruity then this is perfect for you. I personally gravitate to the sharper, greener, bitter side of orange blossom and neroli, which is the opposite of this, but still find this extremely lovely. It obviously smells of orange blossoms, but also immediately sent me back to images of sitting under my grandma's apricot tree in the summer while they perfumed the air with an intense apricot aroma. This definitely put a smile on my face.

Konga5000

RE: As per the bad and mediocre reviews on here:

In my opinion the bottle should have a warning label:

"WARNING: USE OF THIS PRODUCT CAN MAKE ALL YOUR TROUBLES MELT AWAY. MAY CAUSE JOY and EXTREME HAPPINESS. THOSE ALLERGIC TO GIDDINESS MAY WANT TO DISCONTINUE USE. "

So there!

saphire51

I have a sample of this perfume along with several other Jo Malone scents. As I have said on my other posts, I have fallen in love with the Jo Malone fragrances. I ordered Several more sets of samples from Amazon. I am wearing the Orange blossom right now. While it's not my favorite, its very pleasant! I live in Southern California. It seems like almost everyone around here has an orange, lemon or lime tree. When they blossom, the fragrance at night is just amazing! I keep mu windows open so that I can smell it. Anyway, I will be adding this to my collection.

cocoethermes

Orange Blossom by Jo Malone has really captured the essence of this elusive citrus flower-- pure and tranquil. Resilience and optimism are two words that come to mind when I smell this fragrance. When worn together with Jour d'Hermes and the White Jasmine and Mint body creme by Jo Malone, the most captivating everyday scent is created! Truly magnificent! I've gotten countless compliments :) Better yet, it makes me feel aristocratic and regal.

PS: the longevity and silage are one of the best in the Jo Malone line (7 hours with body creme)

marenanne6

I'm ambivalent about this perfume. On the one hand, it's perfectly lovely with great longevity and genuine smell of orange blossom. I feel expensive when I wear it, too.

On the other hand, the lady who practically shoved the bottle up my nose to get me to buy it leaves me feeling disgruntled whenever I wear it. I'm pretty sure I would have been booted out the door had I said anything so offensive as, "I'm just looking, thank you."

An unwanted purchase, but not altogether regretful.
