Purchased from fragrancenet because of the reviews. I was wondering what the familiar sent was once dried.. and it hit me, Guidance by Amouage! Guidance minus the civat. I wish I'd purchased Style before I purchased Guidance. It's a fraction of the price and just as good in my opinion.

Sirenialure

This was a love at first sniff. This introduced me to the pink pepper note and omg what a stunner. I am not a white florals lover but it works with the mixture of the scents of cardamon, amber, vanilla and musk.

Fliss

I contacted Coty who is now producing Jil Sander perfumes and they have discontinued it, another lovely perfume finished.

Fliss

This is supposed to be a dupe for Style :-
ÉCLAT 021 RAR perfume dupe but I havent tried it yet .... has anyone ?

glamarama

I'm absolutely certain this has been discontinued as of 2023, it's nowhere to be found. My favorite fragrance ever now gone and unavailable. I'm buying the last few bottles I can find on eBay, Etsy, Vinted, anywhere ! Sigh 😿 such a magically unique scent. This to me is THEE Perfume™, absolute perfection.

Neptune88

Éclat now do a dupe (no 21)

km1266

I feel your pain Fliss, Style is one of my favourite perfumes and I'm having a hard time finding it at a reasonable price ( I'm from the UK too. )

Fliss

I dont know if this has been discontinued but its getting harder and harder to find here in UK and the prices on Ebay are getting higher, usually a sure sign.
Cant believe why these lovely creamy fragrances end.. firstly Naughty Alice by Vivienne Westwood (discontinued way before she sadly died) and now Style by Jil Sander.

lakhes

Is there anything similar to this? Please let me know.

Demeter82

Creamy, soft, feminine. Sits close to the skin on me. Mango notes are noticeble in the opening and cardomom and vanilla in the drydown. Doesn't last long but it's a pretty frag and it's dirt cheap on Sephora.co.uk. Worth giving it a go for the price.

Fliss

Im so glad that others (LeahBear) can see the similarities between Style and Naughty Alice. Style is truly lovely but on me fades quickly.

LeahBear

Thank you to the person who made it their lifes quest to find a replacement for the discontinued Vivienne Westwood ‘Naughty Alice’. This is a slightly fruitier, slightly less musky, slightly less powerful version but it’s so close I would believe it was just a reformulation if it came in the same bottle. I also paid less than half the price in 2023 of what I paid for a bottle of Naughty Alice back in 2013. Once I’m done with this bottle though I think I’m on a quest for the perfect powdery perfume. Such a comforting smell.

Last about an hour on skin. 3 hours on clothes.

lakhes

Just Perfect. Amazing blend of creamy vanilla musk and amber with spicy delicate florals. Makes me feel so feminine and attractive.

Ada Sokolovic

Well, this is the third week of me smelling this perfume (it was a blind buy) and I lost my mind trying to figure out what perfume this reminds me of! I googled all 90s perfumes, until I googled the notes and found it. Avon Passionate purple!!! From the 90s/00s. I had it and I can't wear this now. They are the same. Check out the notes 😆 So not unique. Sorry. Nice, but not good enough.

km1266

This so pretty and unique. I can mainly smell violet and iris with vanilla, amber and cardamom in the background. I don't smell any mango. It's creamy, powdery and soft. But it's also woody and fresh. It reminds me of Twilight Mist from Body Fantasies, but Style is more serious and modern. Since I love violet combined with vanilla, I can safely say I'm obsessed with this ❤ the bottle is cool too

Edit: For some reason the mango is more noticeable in the opening but that makes me like it more. My only problem is that the sillage is a bit too soft, I have to keep tapping up with my 30ml bottle. People say they get compliments and while it's a gorgeous scent, I think someone would have to be standing pretty close to notice it, but it isn't super weak. It's like my own personal scent. However the longevity is good, I noticed I went into my bed and I could still smell it. I am going to try the EDP as soon as I run out.

ScentedPlaza

First impressions only. Created in 2006, it's a fitting scent for that period of time. Artificial futuristic style, the bottle reflects the scent. Unripe mango with skin chopped & swirled into yogurt + sprinkled with freesia and violet petals. I picture the model Heidi Klum wearing "Style" when clubbing in Berlin (both German origin) in 2000'.
Edit: You know what? This scent is the cherimoya fruit in a bottle. Creamy & sour...

Fliss

Just discovered Jil Sander Style perfume and wish I had found it sooner, very cosy, feminine, pretty perfume.
I used to use Naughty Alice by Vivienne Westwood, sadly discontinued and this has some notes that remind of this. Everything blends beautifully the Vanilla, Violet, Iris then the musk all creamy, powdery together.
Someone mentioned heavy on the pepper I cant detect that at all.. I Love it, Gorgeous

UPDATE I still love this fragrance but on me it fades so fast, after an hour its barely there.

imoore

I really love the cardamom note in this perfume, and do not like to upset anybody whom like this fragrance, but the vanilla is spot on the let us make some cake with vanilla extract quality here. It is very sad! Since the vanilla is iffffy it is not a safe blind buy for cardamom note lovers.

angienotesjunkie

I can't believe I have only just discovered this! I am a violet junkie, so it really should have been on my radar long ago. I ordered a 30ml bottle, as blind buying due to global chaos. Larger bottle has just been ordered. I put one spray on each arm, straight out of the shower around 5.30pm yesterday. Now 11.20am and it is still very much there!

On first spraying it's screams all the notes at once, which was a bit overwhelming. It quickly calms down to reveal a spicy vanilla mango, backed up be generous amber and white flowers. This is very nice, I enjoy this stage. It stays like this for a good 2-3 hours and projects really well at this point. Then we get to the best bit, the dry down. Over the next hour or so, the softer elements take center stage. This is he part I could still smell when I woke up this morning. Beautiful musky, powdery violet, iris, vanilla and amber, with just a touch of Jasmin and pepper. Mmmmm! Instant love ❤️

Now I've discovered this line, I shall be on a mission to try as many as I can get my hands on ☺️Though this one is perfect to me, so I'm not sure if I can expect better!

Pez_Enelrio

I used to have a 5 ml mini around 15 yrs ago... I remember I liked it back then but for some reason I did not use it much. I think I felt it too mature for a teenager.
Today I managed to find a 50 ml bottle very very much on sale for 10 USD, I could not turn my head away :D And how glad I am that I bought it!
It reminds me much of Kenzo Amour, but its greener. Like Kenzo amour mixed with the green one from the pastel collection I also used to have and liked it very much.

shushkin

I'm a big fan of Sylvaine Delacourte Vanori. I was not surprisingly curious when others noted a resemblance. There is a little resemblance. This is Vanori with a tonne of pepper, no fresh citrus deliciousness or soft voluptuousness.

I like Style but my goodness so much pepper. I do get a nice dose of vanilla followed shortly by the floral notes. I'm so glad the pepper does ease off a bit.

Vanori is not cheap so Style is nice to wear every day when I want something lovely and feminine.
It's a casual wear scent that just says feminine. Definitely not a work scent unless perhaps you work in the beauty industry.
I'm pleased it has reasonable longevity and sillage. I would recommend it as a good cheapy. I can easily understand why it is popular.

Kateri81

This is one beautiful peppery full bodied and little old school vanilla perfume. Nicely lightened up by mango and spiced up by cardamon. Definitely my "cold weather started and I'm getting ready for Helloween and then Christmas" perfume :D My top five. Jil Sander is classic!

glamarama

Avon used to have a fragrance named 'ARABIAN GLOW Eau de Toilette Spray' and it smelled kinda like this one. NOT to be confused with 'True Glow' also by Avon which is completely something else.

Madrona

I am getting flashbacks from DSQUARED2 Potion for Women, a similar combination of musky powdery violet vanilla with something dry and tart (blackberry-rhubarb vs. mango-pink pepper) and supporting florals. Modern, elegant without being glamorous, and very wearable.

CupK

Many years ago I smelled this perfume at a friends house, never forgot about it and sometime ago I got my hands on 2 bottles for a bargain price.

I do not use it everyday but when I do, I love it so much, like said here before it is just a very unique smell :)

Staying power is also on point, I can smell it all day and the next day on my clothes.

AMBRA GRI

Am I the only one smelling a less flowery, more powder-ish YR Comme une evidence?
LATER EDIT: Actually, there's no Comme une evidence here. I've been wearing it a lot trying to convince myself f that I like it. I don't . That mango gives me a Laguna Dali kind of aquatic fruity 90's low cost vibe that , in my opinion, contrasts a lot with Jil Sander's minimalism. I feel a lot of sour mango in it, unfortunately, no pepper or cardamon nor violet:(.

MirageMirage

ONE OF THE MOST UNIQUE, UNBELIEVABLE GORGEOUS SCENTS - EVER.

Germanblonde

What is it with Jil Sander fragrances that absolutely floors me? I just took a shower, used Jil Sander Style shower gel, used the body lotion afterwards and perfected it with the juice, all while humming with sheer delight. I cannot believe that so far each and every Jil Sander scent I tried beamed me up to heaven. I am not much of a floral lover, but this composition is so wonderful, the floral aroma doesn't feel like an intruder, but the main accords are so well balanced that the floral part is actually a delight rather than an intrusion (and I can find a lot of floral scents too intrusive). This is a frag that picks me up when I am down, elevates me higher when I am happy, and is almost as potent in addressing depression and moodiness as L*ndt Chocolate Truffles. Best case scenario: Chocolate and Jil Sander frags, and the world looks brighter indeed. Style is just spectacular.

rozalia.ignatova

Tested this for a friend who loves Jil Sander. You could describe her as a typical "Jil Sander-style" kind of woman: minimalistic and puristic choice of clothes and accessories.

Style opens very bitter, a mixture of cardamom and the peel of an unripe mango.
Over the course of half an hour this almost pungent but interesting scent mixes with classic sweet vanilla and iris.
It mellows out beautifully with the white flowers. After this stage the cardamomm and green mango have disappeared.
Unfortunately, the very interesting opening does not stay for the whole wearing time.

Sillage is soft but can be definetly built up to noticeable, longevity ok.

Style is very versatile and can be worn to any occasion, in my opinion.

i am totally in love with this perfume. in years my taste for everything keeps on changing but not for this perfume. as it is written before, it is unique. i feel more elegant, intelligent and different than everyone when i wear this. sillage and longevity are great. because of the risk this one would smell good on anybody, when i am asked about my perfume, i'm lying about the brand, sometimes :)

Tussa

If I have to decide should i buy it, based on the main accords, I would never do it. This combination is not my favourite one. But, I know Jil Sander perfumes and I like them. This one is no exception. I like how the notes are balanced and the brand signature is recognisable here as well. There is not much i can add, since i find that main accords says pretty much what it is about. Maybe just that it becomes a bit more musky with dry down for my nose. The silage and longevity is quite good as well. Reminds me a bit of Jil Sander Sensation, less sweet and more spicy.
I have to admit that I like more Pastels Tender Green, since I like fresher scents, unfortunately it is not available anymore.

soili

It's a beautiful scent, bitter-sweet spicy powdery vanilla. Solid projection, but not in offensive way. Cuddly, comforting, yet mature and sophisticated. My mother-in-law kept complimenting me every time I would wear it, so I ended up giving her my bottle. She has a poor sense of smell and is generally clueless about perfume, but she could smell it on me 4 hours after I applied it (3 sprays total) and said to her it smelled "so nice and fresh", so hopefully she'll enjoy it more than I did. I did like it and I definitely appreciate it, but we didn't quite click.

EDIT: reporting from my mother in law! :D It's been a week since I gave her my bottle and she wore it nonstop (she's a one-perfume-at-a-time kind of gal). She said she got multiple compliments and people are asking her where can it be purchased online, since Jil Sander is not sold in Portugal. It's a hit!

blake.lee

This is an odd little scent. It's very abstract and unusual in the first 15 minutes. It does smell like curry but not Indian curry instead green Thai curry. It also has a weird wet, palm leaf sort of note that sticks out distractingly in those first 15 minutes. I then start to smell an unripe mango. It's not a fleshy, juicy sweet Mango, but instead a fresh, bitter unripe mango. It's a little hard to decide how to feel about the scent in the beginning, but give it a chance. It turns into a beautiful, noncloying vanilla with a touch of spice and a noticeable mango. The drydown is not complicated or confusing. This may be disappointing for those who enjoy a scent staying strange and abstract through out, but I find it lovely and wearable.

DiaAnna

I loooove it ! Buy it without worries , this really rocks ! It's one of those fragrances that has high potential to smell great on everyone ! Vanilla is there the whole time but it's mixed perfectly with the other ingredients so you get a bit of everything here ! Definitely full of Style :D

Henriette

Beautiful composition from the Queen of Minimalism.
I adore Jil Sander's style and in my whole perfumed life only very recently I have come across her perfumes.
Well, I must confess I had always disregarded them in haste and have always been more drawn to other brands.

Style opens with a witty peppery note not different from Bottega Veneta but Style is more feminine and powdery. There is a hint of flowers, my favourite flowers in a scent: violet, jasmine and iris which never become too dominant but remain in the shadow and offer their discreet presence as long as the scent remains on your skin.

It's not eternally lasting but I would not expect it to be so; the Queen of Minimalism remains true to her philosophy and does not overwhelm you, not even with her Style.

Very refined, very elegant, a discreet kind of elegance, one that goes unnoticed but gains respect and is recognized. Classy without being boring or dejà vu or old lady.
I would see it perfect both for ladies and young women, it's truly ageless.

REFINED ELEGANCE IN A BOTTLE

aiisha

The first word coming to my mind while smelling this fragrance was CUTE. I love the unique top notes, whish they lasted longer. What i get after 30-45 minutes is mostly the vanilla base, and after 3-4 hours i can't smell anything, it's completely vanished from my skin. This is my only complaint but it's far enough for keeping me off buying it, though it could be my signature scent easily. Very sad :(
Edit: I bought it anyway. I enjoy it a lot but no signature potential here.

scented2014

i bought Jil Sander Style the other day. i'd read so many positive reviews here that decided to go for this blind buy. still was a bit worrying cause in russian fragrantica there were a lot of people mentioning that it smells curry to them (which i don't like). i though 'curry?really?why on Earth sb would invent a perfume that smells curry?'. i received my bottle, sprayed on my wrist-and you know what?it really smelled green curry!!!!i was so disapponted...after a few hours i gave it another try,on my hair and clothes this time...and -oh my!!!it's such a beauty!i cannot pick up words to describe!i still can detect some curry but this time it's not foody,it's elegant, mysterious, original and surprising!it doesn't smell much sweet to me, but spicy!-yes!

pacciosa

As usual, your rewiews are the best!! I bought this beautiful perfume based on comments here, and after an initial strange masculine effect, i find this one very very beautiful and feminine, it's a very unique fragrance nothing I've ever smelled before! It's sweet and creamy and near to the skin. Is an elegant and classy perfume and I don't stop sniff my arms! Very very beautiful i like it a lot!!

Pari88

This a very very sweet and creamy fragrance. The initial spray is almost identical to Burberry Brit edp. The middle phase is most interesting where the spices, specifically cardamom, mango, violet, freesia and vanilla mix. The drydown takes about 30 min to arrive. To sum the drydown up it smells like a mango vanilla smoothie. It is very nice and comforting but as of now it doesn't go beyond that and it does not evoke any emotions from me to warrant a repeat purchase. It is a little too sweet. I'll continue to wear it in different weather and moods and see how I feel then. I recommend trying this, perhaps in a sample vial, then decide on purchasing. I do like it.
It has similarities with other, but the short lived creamy mango vanillic drydown is quite unique.
Update: Summer 2014. I've grown to love this in the hot weather. It is a sexy sweet scent, a mango vanilla gelato, of the highest quality ingredients. Its an Italian Summer fragrance. Big sunglasses floral summer dresses strolling elegantly down old streets, casually sexy while scooping bites of your gelato and smiling ay passerby's. Utterly edible and a little juicy makes this refreshing in a sense. I prefer it in the warmer months and wear it often.

tinaelisa

Mmmhhh I just re-discoverd this one for myself! A friend of mine was wearing this one last year and I was always commenting on how good it smelled on her. But then I forgot about it.
This year on my search for a christmas-time fragrance, I saw the gift-sets from Jil Sander in the stores. So I tried it again and fell in love! It is so nice and yummy. It's a soft, sweet (but not too sweet), spicy sophisticated fragrance! It wraps around you, makes you feel pretty, feminine and cozy. I don't agree that this is an 'ice cream' smell like some reviewers below stated, that would mean that it would be incredibly sweet and sticky. But it's not.
Lasting power and silage are decent. You will get noticed, but it wont hit someone on the head.
I also bought the matching lotion with it (the matching body care lines to the Jil Sander fragrances are very affordable, like 3 times cheaper than other lotions of fragrances and the prices are like that permanent!) and like to layer them both.
It's a great winter fragrance and I'm pretty sure that when wearing Style later next year it will transport me right back to christmas/ winter time 2013. Yaay! :D

LaUna

Vanilla-butter, green notes and violets. Sweet, warm, floral and gourmandy fragrance. Something nostalgic about it. Very, very pleasant scent.
Magnolia, amber and cardamom for drydown.
It smells much simpler than what's involved here. Still great thou.
This is type a scent that enwraps you with its warm hugs. Comfort for sure:)
Purchase highly considered!

djuzz.becuzz

This is a very soft one on me, soft in any thinkable way. There are no sharp edges. It's a blend of soft spicy notes, soft smelling flowers on a soft bed of vanilla. Almost soft creamy on my skin. I really like the scent. Sillage is quite nice for the first hour and a half and then it gets close to the skin. Longevity is pretty good. Over 8 hours.
♥♥♥♥

bren400

Cute little bottle but I couldn't STAND the juice inside. VERY heavy on powder! Totally not MY style!

Momopii37

I bought this 2-3 days ago hoping it would smell like ice cream since, it was suggested on a question asked here on fragrantica. so i thought i might give it a try. I did not get any vanilla or ice cream like scent i was hoping for, but instead i got this spicy scent to start with then it turned into this... um the only way i can describe it is ' a green/ leafy scent' or this scent reminds me of the color green dono why. It's also sweet ( but not in your face sweet sweet, kinda balanced, not too little and not too much sweetness) and smelt somewhat familiar but i could not place my finger on why it smelt familiar.
But today i finally figured out why it smelt familiar/what it reminds me of....
"MANGO TREE LEAVES"
I love and grew up in a place with lots of mangoes, and a couple of times i would try and chew on the mango tree leaves, and the smell of the leaves when i would chew on them is exactly like this perfume, Or a bit like the skin of the mango, but it mostly reminds me of the mango tree leaves, that together with something woody ( not too much of the woody smell kinda subtle), dono if other people get the pure sweet mango. But that's all im getting from this perfume
Its comforting and reminds of home.
The bottle is so CUTE. I'm sorry if i sound weird but i love it :)
It also lasts on quiet a long time and don't really need to spray a lot on.. for me anyway.

melodiadelapaz

Kysyona: I agree with you!
For me Style started with quite a lot of pepper, but the drydown is blueberry and rose. Don't know why. It has a tender sweetness to it that also reminds me of fresh pears.

Kysyona

I am lost for words, because if this is not the perfect floral/fruity pastel, then I don't know what is: those ladies, who, like me, love pastels and looking good enough to eat - well, this is a rose/blueberry smoothie pastel - coloured scent that is the only one of its kind up there with the pretentious chanels. It is THE perfect winter scent for office IMHO. Costs a fortune, but makes you feel and smell like a million dollars. This is what wives of oil tycoons should smell like, when they are walking around their villas wearing vintage Valentino skirts and fixing freshly cut flowers in vases in every room while sipping countless tiny cups of rum espresso. I adore this creation and the other "pastels" from JS are just as divine: want every one to be gracing my vanity at some point. I also have to note, that the note layers in this perfume seem to be reversed: the usual base notes like vanilla and musk are at the top of the pyramide here, and the berries, fruits and flowers surface up when the top notes give way after a while: perhaps this is what makes it so special, considering that a whole ingredient bouquet is a no-brainer. I am converted.

not insolence

Zlataslava

It is my love. Aroma wood and musky, and then the flower. The juicy bitterness dements me. It absolutely not sweet, vanilla in structure with bitterness. Distinguished and refined. Resistant and during too time doesn't smother, delicate. I have it one of darlings. Competes with the Mademoiselle and often wins, though I love both of them gently. Very much I am afraid that will lay off, carefully I study a pyramid to find analog... I apologize for my English, I hope clearly))

[email protected]

sorry, forgot to put YSL Pour Elle Intense, I just got so excited!

[email protected]

Just received and I am really loving it. At first spray I get all the middle flower notes with a shot of the pepper. Then pepper mixes and jumps into the batch of freesia while never forgetting to bring along her other buddies "the middle note gang". At no point do I never get vanilla, that really perplexes me. This is quite beautiful and has similarities the YSL and Paco Rabanne Ultra Violet. I am just calling it like I smell it. Highly recommend this for anyone. I will continue to enjoy.

evacecilias

Oh how I waited for this...and finally its here !
Thanks to Adrienne99 for letting me have this !
It is a very soft powdery skin scent ,to me resembling Burburry brit in a way, but without the odd note in brit I dont like and softer than brit as well.

This has mango and cardamon in the beginning, very nice, but very shortlived... Anyhow its easy to wear, you don´t annoy anyone, and nice for work or when you want to snuggle up close to someone, cause I think its not loud at all. I mean - I wear the perfume, its not wearing ME...

if this is soft, how soft is Style soft - version ??? The notes blend very well so it is not easy to separate them. More than mango I get fresia, iris, musk and vanilla. I dont get any jasmine at all. What´s funny is that it turns more flowery and a hint of lemonish towards the base and that´s usually the other way around.

..

SheShe

Style goes the way Guerlain goes - Jil Sander and Guerlain are excellent at creating powdery scents.

The beginning is spicy and somehow herbal for me and then I don't know how and why coffee emerges! Really, sweet dark coffee with cream... then wood, amber and flowers... all creamy, thick and powdery, sweet in a good measure.

The scent is black-green in the beginning, then dark brown and it stays like that, no matter what ingredients say, the effect as a whole is like that in my imagination. I wish it was less close to skin but it wears very nice...

Edit: Style is among my top 5 now - who likes L'Instant de Guerlain, may like Style, they're in the same mood and a bit similar, especially to an edt version. It wears great.

Norgirl

This is a tester im trying out. very fresh . fruty to me. alot off Freesia.Viol, magnolia- but none off this is very strong So it becomes a very close to skin scent one me. i cant detect as much Cardamom as i wanted. there is a littl spicyness , but all the sweet flowers eats it up.
not very peppery on my skin , not much Mango eather, and thats a good thing for me . i usualy dont like that to much.
I thought i would like this . And i do in away . but this is to weak and close to skin for my taste.

olga1780

To me it's more of a spicy oriental fragrance. Very unique and a statement maker.Great sillage and longevvity. Love the cardamom in it!

terezie

I got this as a gift. It was way too strong for me, made me nauseous. I couldn't detect any fruit notes or soft flowers, just cardamon and heavy vanila.

moonwalker

I had a big expectations for this perfume, unfortunately way too big. After first spray, I was kinda undecided, but after about 3 minutes, very strong rose note emerged. Since I dont see any rose listed, I dont know how could I possibly smelt rose... anyway thirty minuts later, and I finally began experiencing smell that I rather enjoyed, my favourite combination - pink peper, some minty note, and vanilla. I agree with those that said it smells a little bit like Amour by Kenzo.
Anyway, I am happy that I didnt buy it without testing firt. BUt I will definitely go back and try more testing because I am quite intrigued by this smell... just my cup of teay (well, at least after first thirty minutes).

Habanita

I found this harsh and slightly masculine, although there is something very sweet in it. I couldn't enjoy anything about it. When I tried to use my sample up, it even sickened me a little.

beatrix75

ooo i love this fume its tis kinde of fragrance vich one you cant forget so much nice feminine and uniqe actualy i love all jil parfums!!!all of them

Pierina

I really love this gentle florientle (ha that rhymes!)
Its suited to day, has nice longish sillage, smells like a combination of diesel plus plus and hypnose senses.
every single time I wear it I a heavily complimented on it.

Lito07

I walk in and out of a room and my fragrance is still there... My most fave one, cant count the ppl that stopped me to ask what perfume I'm wearing!!!! I use it any time, any day,any season as long as I am in the mood :-))

aysint

Style is an amazing winter scent. I don't recommend for spring or summer, because woody and powdery notes can be a little disturbing.
I wish its bottle could be transparent, i can't see its amount.

lucifera

yes perfect, this is how i wanted l'instant de guerlain would be on me
since i own already too much lovelies, this one has to wait

kerini

It starts out with a mixture of freesia and mango with just enough cardamom and pink pepper to make things interesting.
It settles down into a pleasant mix of flowers and vanilla.
I like it.

I fall in love with this scent at third sight:). It's a very comfortable and long-lasting (8-10 hours on me) fragrance, great for wintertime. I don't like the minimalist bottle, the scent is much more interesting. At first very spicy- in a good way, then it becomes more powdery, but with a hint of freshness and woodiness. More interesting than other powdery scents I've smelled before.

Adopting "Style" as my signature scent has been a bit like a journey. I remember trying and liking it when it came out, but I went on to test other perfumes (finding "Matsuri" in the process). Years later, frustrated that I still didn't find a good allrounder of a perfume, my feet carried me back to the Jil Sander shelf and I bought it without thinking twice.

"Style" is a very feminine scent, creamy and powdery without being overbearing. I'm not a big fan of vanilla, but it was used in the right amount and blends in very nicely. The top notes are gone rather quickly, and it tries down to a wondeful, warm scent with good lasting power.

Thanks Mahanta for sending me a sample of this one! I immediately went ahead and ordered a full bottle because I know the sample isn't going to last.

I can't specifically point out a floral note, for me the beginning is like a powdery blend of flowers and cedar (the pepper I'm sure). I'm picky about cedar or anything resembling cedar in fragrances but this smells divine. And the dry down...ahhh the dry down. Soft powdery floral vanilla. As kastehelmi mentioned, the "powder" here isn't that it smells like baby powder or talcum powder. In this case the powder is more of a quality it has, very smooth and soft.

In a way it reminds me of Burberry Brit, it has the same style & feel to it. It's probably safe to say if you like Brit you'll be enthralled by Style. The opening is also somewhat reminiscent of Boucheron B. This is not a girly girl floral with a vanilla dry down. This is much more sophisticated.

Best Floral Woody Musk I have tried yet-much better than Kenzo Amour. It's simply a creamy skin scent, with a highlight on transparent florals. The woodiness is completely background, the powderiness is the good kind, modern and not cakey or sharp or dusty. Delightful and aptly named-I think I detect (and love) magnolia even if this scent doesn't shout "Magnolia!"

If you like/are exploring floral woody musks and/or magnolias, you will probably adore this scent as much as I do.

smells much more better in winter!!

I really love this perfume! It's suitable for business but also for the evening. It might be too masculine for some ladies. Not too strong, not too sweet and not too light. Just perfect ;} It lasts very long.

I really don't smell the floral part in this perfume (I hate floral perfumes!).

It reminds me of Code from Armani and Hypnotic Poison of Christian Dior in some way.

Style positively autumn-winter warming fragrance, which starts, seducer with a freesia, mixes with a magnolia then, and with my hot favourite, the iris. The fragrances of flowers breast I feel tiny smokiness, which is due for picking the pepper. The fragrance positively starts getting warm, becomes velvety, and on a cream-filled pastry to cling into the leather some violet, and jasmine touch, but they arrive in the basis already with this well-placed ambergris, musk, and vanilla which can be felt long components. Do not separate the notes, but altogether gives one burying itself, kind, though effeminately clear experience the perfume. Not intruding, informs us about his round-a-clock existence modestly only. Who likes it the I do not flaunt, but i'm here type the presence of perfumes, I recommend it from among a heart for it. Eternal piece Jil Sander is left of house at me, Pure, and Sun Delight, I would have lack quasi, if they would not be on the shelf. In summer Sun Delight, and not Sun, much kind daytime gave presents because it was dear to me already his softness, Pure everything is pampered with his cleanness in a season though. Style is there between my favourites, this was a beautiful creation. Congratulations!

Perfect match with the name. A lot of fresh fruit, but still more gourmet, wrapped with floral notes that are so soft and gentle. Style seduces with its strenght and wide aura, create the illusion that it was just the warm smell of your skin, lightly perfumed, so comfortable and feminine.
Powerful fragrance appealing to men and women, but not at all difficult, which manages only a small number of perfume. Like the minimalist bottle, fit in the smallest purse.

For sure, a fantastic floral woody musk!
I often test floral woody musks and find my self asking...well, whereś the woody notes? whereś the musk? Here, you get it all. The perfume has excellent, full, natural, floral notes. The amber, vanilla, and musk make it very powdery and creamy as other reviewers mentioned. However the musk remains also as a strongly noticeable note. The woody notes are distinct. Towards the drydown it becomes sweet. The other reviewers have said it all-and I agree-unique, modern, also, delicate, very imaginitive and-stylish!

Marianne

I like it because there's no fragrance that's similar to it - an entirely new scent. It's not a scent I would wear on my own, but I often smell it on other women.

Fresh and beautiful scent.I love the powdery notes and the violets in it.

Pez_Enelrio

it remind me of kenzo amour, because of its powderity, but it more floral and have some green notes
