Peace, Love and Juicy Couture by Juicy Couture is a Floral fragrance for women. Peace, Love and Juicy Couture was launched in 2010. The nose behind this fragrance is Rodrigo Flores-Roux. Top notes are Hyacinth, Cassis, Red Apple and Amalfi Lemon; middle notes are Red Poppy, Lime (Linden) Blossom, Honeysuckle, Jasmine and Magnolia; base notes are Musk, Patchouli and Orris Root.

New fragrance by Juicy Couture was designed in hippie style and it takes us back to the 60es and free minded Malibu. Peace Love & Juicy Couture is, we can freely say, hippie phase of the brand, which does not distance itself from style of the brand with the new flacon design and cheerful notes.

Peace, Love and Juicy Couture is created in a massive flacon made of heavy glass, with wonderful decorations on its neck (turquoise pearls, fluffy pink decoration and small heart-shaped pendant with peace sign).

Its composition was created by Givaudan perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux of such notes as Meyer lemon, wild hyacinth, sweet apple and black currant buds absolute in a top. A heart blooms with floral kisses of Sambac jasmine absolute, star magnolia, Malibu poppy, honeysuckle and linden blossom, while a base features iris root extract, patchouli blossom and sensual musk which rounds up the composition as a non-chalant embrace.

The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 100 ml EDT, as well as EDP edition - 7,5ml rollerball. Advertising campaign was made by Steven Meisel, and you will find it in fashion and beauty magazines from October 2010.

Reminds me of a nice sun tan lotion

Avalionia

First of all: it has nothing to do with Chanel Cristalle.
The opening is harsh green - Iike fresh cut grass, maybe a bit too much green.
After like 10-15 minutes the greenish blast transforms into something heavenly - the cleanest scent I ever smelled. Like a basket of fluffy fresh white towels, or a meadow full of spring flowers.
A true gem!
Doesn't last on my skin unfortunately, but it isn't expensive, so I don't mind

Delightful scent, definitely more of a musky floral scent

FunkyTomo

I thought I'd already reviewed this but it seems not......I'm on my 2nd bottle and I hope it doesn't get too HTF as I don't think it's production anymore...Why did I sleep on this for so long!! ...A real pleasant surprise.... Agree with others, not a typical JC perfume.at all.....It really reminded me of Chanel Cristalle..... Someone said it was a dirty hippie smell.... Not at all....there's is no dirt/patchouli whiff..... It's just clean , fresh , grassy and springtime in a bottle .... Love it.... Waiting for the nice spring weather now to start wearing.it out .

Zic890

I don't know how to differentiate between the notes, but overall this smells like grass stains in your jeans when rolling in the nearby wildflower field. It's definitely better on some people more than others like myself. But on me, terrible lol. If I smelled like this, I think people would assume I'd mowed my lawn and maybe sat in the clippings afterwards. I don't mind the smell, but I would definitely want to smell *like* this.

jadepo21

This is spring in a bottle. It’s fresh cut flowers, grass, and sunshine. While it’s nice for all those reasons, it’s not something I would reach for. There is no sweetness or warmth to balance it out, so it’s not for me. But if you want to smell like the goddess of spring, this is that scent.

vixen1995

Juicy Couture definitely branched out with this one, It’s so far removed from anything else they’ve released. I can tell they took inspiration from all the popular green fragrances of the 60s-70s, And I love the result! The Linden Blossom and Honeysuckle notes in particular are beautifully done. Overall it’s fresh, Crisp, Green, But not dirty at all. Has some natural sweetness to it. Slightly reminiscent of Estée Lauder Pleasures, Although I don’t like that one as much. Strong sillage. This fragrance is probably more popular than the ratings would have you believe, Considering it’s still in production 14 years later. An underrated gem.

silvertealight

if you owned this fragrance back in 2012 you were THE it girl! i still have my bottle from back then, it just smells like nostalgia, tumblr/myspace girl era !!

msbotanica

Rolling around in the grass wearing a plaid green skirt leafing through American girl doll magazine and dreaming of having Kit Kittredge one day making diy perfume out of sticks and leaves!

I love this scent so much!

Lauren_Trouble

Fresh, green & slightly powdery scent, predominantly linden blossom & hyacinth. I can definitely see how this is in a similar vein to A Scent by Issey Miyake. While the scent itself is nice, unfortunately this has very poor longevity & sillage. This lasted less than 2 hours & sat close to skin in less than 30 minutes.

plantbutter

This was definitely the "fancy" scent from when I was around 13-15. If I had a party to go to, you bet your ass I'd be putting on a bandeau skirt and spray this on all over. I can't for the life of me recall the smell, other than feeling like it made me feel like a fancy clubbing woman in her early 20's, without it being too old-fashioned and floral for my taste. I miss it like hell.

Phedre1981

If you want to smell like a florists' shop/fresh-cut flowers, this is for you. I wanted a scent like that in my collection because my aunt used to work in a beautiful flower shop and I have fond memories of visiting her there. This is perfect for that purpose and can be found for a very low price. Score!

perfumelovere

This is a straightforward pleasant green floral. I'm reminded of the original Pleasures or Romance but a lighter less in your face and less screechy version. The only common not among other Juicy scents is honeysuckle. There is nothing sweet here. I prefer to layer this with Gabrielle to make it a little brighter and tone down the "dirt" element which to me is more prominent than I'd like.

Lulubelle107

I wore Cristalle as a teenager in the '80's and have slowly been revisiting my signature scents from long ago. Since that beauty is discontinued, I've been searching for something with a similar scent profile, and JC's Peace, Love, and Juicy Couture is scratching that itch. It is similar enough to my scent memory and works well with my body chemistry, so I'm happy - especially for how inexpensive it is. I live in a semi-tropical climate that is uber hot and humid, and the crisp and tangy greenness and floral notes (especially the honeysuckle) is doing it for me. Glad I was able to snag a bottle before it is gone for good.

Sherlock Ness Monster

A blast of green, fresh, hyacinth-y, lemony, lime blossom goodness. Green, green, green. Spring green in a bottle. I would imagine that if you were expecting a sugary sweet, gourmand, Juicy Couture flanker you would be disappointed and confused by this scent. Luckily, I was wanting the polar opposite of a Juicy Couture fragrance, and this one fits the bill. It works well with my skin chemistry, and brings back memories of my mom wearing Chanel Cristalle when I was a little girl. I love it. It's just my type of scent.

PavlinKa21

fragrancenovice

I'm one of the lucky people whose body chemistry works with this! It starts out as a citrus-y floral and progresses to a floral/green/herbal scent with a slight touch of dirt. I think that's the patchouli; it's not very strong on me, but it's there.

Then it slowly becomes more herbal, and I keep smelling the patchouli, and then the musk surfaces. It's a soft musk that I'm OK with wearing in hot weather. In fact, I love this perfume in the summer!

I was surprised to read all the comments saying it doesn't last. It does on me, and I have dry, perfume eating skin. But I will say that it's not extremely strong; I don't fill up the room with it, which suits me just fine in hot weather. I don't want to overwhelm people with a strong perfume in the summer!

I can understand that this isn't everyone's cup of tea. If you don't like green and herbal fragrances, don't buy it. I'd say it's a safe office fragrance, if you spray with restraint, but I wouldn't call it a safe blind buy or gift.

It's too bad that it's been discontinued. I bought a big bottle, so it'll take me quite a while to use it up. By then, I'll be ready to try something else!

anyuh

My sister recently blind bought this from the discount shelf because of the Juicy Couture branding thinking she would like it, but it ended up not being to her tastes at all and so we did a swap because... I dig it! A fun, slightly sweet floral green freshie that is different from everything else in the Juicy Couture line. I think it would make a good beginner's fresh/green fragrance because it is unmistakably so, yet without the green bitterness that could cause a problem with some noses. It is also very affordable for a 100ml too, but maybe it's so cheap because they might be discontinuing it? Just a guess, correct me if I'm wrong.

If you primarily only like gourmand/sweet scents, test it first or steer clear! I know it's cheap but don't get something before at least researching the notes! I believe most of the negative reviews are from Juicy Couture/gourmand fans that were expecting something much different. Make sure it works well on your skin too, it seems to go weird on some people.

I'll be getting some good use out of this one as it gets warmer outside! Channeling love & peace! ❤️🤞

saho93

I was hoping to get more of the fruits and white flower notes without sweetness. And it is not sweet. But it is too herbal, grassy for me unfortunately.

sem413

I actually blind bought this perfume, despite all of the negative reviews here, and I really like it! On me, it smells like apples, trees, and flowers, with faint traces of lemon. If you're okay with getting a tart, juicy floral fragrance, then this one is for you! Avoid if you don't like florals and green notes, and if you're expecting a sweet and typical JC perfume.

This one is more grown up and less teenager-y, and I wear it at work when I just want a fast, easy, and dependable fragrance.

Gemsense

Gorgeous 😍!!! I skipped this for a minute cuz of ppl saying it was dirty hippy type earth girl kind. Well I'm glad I found it so cheap and gave it a try cuz this is really pretty! Straight classy, crisp, sexy slightly green, new age Jessica McClintock with a sour edge to it. Mmmm it's scrumptious 🌿💗. I'm stocking up... It's not dirty patchouli in fact it reminds me of something I can't put my finger on at the moment. Definitely not like viva la juicy but I've never been a fan of the viva line. I've only loved og juicy couture, Hollywood couture, Malibu couture, and now peace love and juicy is my kind too 😋
I will figure out what this is identical to and when I do I'll update. Got it!!!! It's identical to Escada Lily Chic! ♥️
I wore this in 82 degree F weather and this sexy sweet musky scent enveloped me! It’s even more gorgeous in the heat!

Anabee

I have this one in my collection since forever. The juice probably already turned sour, but I’m keeping it for the bottle. As for the fragrance itself, tbh I never really wore it. Something about it just didn’t sit well with me. It’s in the same ballpark as Chloé Nomad: a very green, mossy, earthy, compost/vegetable smell. I don’t want to smell like a farmers market, but to someone who’s maybe more experimental, this could be fun.

Yogamomny17

I just sprayed one spray of this on my arm and I’m getting a green somewhat sour floral fragrance with just a slight animalic leathery/skanky undertone, probably from the patch and linden blossom notes.

It’s something entirely different than anything I’ve ever smelled. (I never experienced Chanel Crystaline.) it’s not a perfumey perfume, instead it smells quite naturally derived.

I’m going to have to sit with this one for a few wears and into the spring and summer months to really form a more solid opinion. Most likely this will be better suited to spring and summer.

I feel like I want to like it but I’m just not sure yet. I definitely don’t hate it and I like that it’s different than my usual go to scents. I can’t wait to get the middle and dry down so I can really know how it develops.

I’d say it’s not a safe blind but. It’s a unique scent that I could see growing on me. I’m going to come back after I’ve given myself time to really experience it to the fullest so I can update my review.

Ok!! I am wearing this on a hot summer day and let me just say the humid and hot weather really has made all the difference for me.

This one blooms beautifully in the heat. Just gorgeous! Clean green floral with a pretty musk element. It smells like high end naturally derived spa quality skin or hair products. Very clean uplifting and just pretty.

Nothing juvenile but certainly Not old fashioned. Reminds me of the modern and minimalist aesthetic that is popular today and I can see any woman of 20 and up wearing this and appreciating it.

Can’t wait to wear it to work tomorrow!!

FunkyTomo

Wow, it is indeed very close to the discontinued Chanel Cristalle!! Wow, who would of Thought it from a JC perfume?? Anyone missing the chanel , get this. It's my first JC owned, bought as a part full eBay bargain. My current budget does not stretch to Chanels and the like , although I have owned that perfume in the past. I have read that this is also discontinued, which is a downer. However there are still many affordable bottles avail online which I plan to buy ASAP, while I can. I also.want the JC Sucre which I've tested before and was a lovely fun gourmand, I thought all Jcs were gourmand so what a surprise this was. So glad I pulled the trigger, I needed a new spring green perfume that's affordable ( I love chanel 19 but that's out of budget too) and now I have it.

scentiful

This is the perfume fragrance that made me avoid Linden Blossom forever. Smelt like a pet store and I didn’t even get the version with the pretty charm on the bottle.

peasoup

this one is always on sale here in canada and online, for quite a large bottle, with good performance. my favourite fresh scent <3 quite similar to original juicy couture to me, but i spray this more generously considering it's double the size

Midnight Raine

Recommendation: you must love tangy green fragrances to appreciate this one.

This is an excellent winter fragrance, perfect for those dark cold days when you're missing the vibrant greenery of spring. It reminds me of those breezy warm spring days, when the snow has melted and the earth is saturated: wet soil, dewy grass, budding flowers, a light tang of lemon wafting on the breeze, and the musky-sweet smell of autumn's composting leaves. It's comforting & fresh.

I get decent longevity with two sprays (one on my neck, one on my shirt): easily 6 hours or more. I'm very happy to have this in my collection.

Kiran4deep

Very close to JLo Still.. Still lasts more than PLJC.. Beautiful green floral scent. Good for everyday use

Sun_Bleached_Florals

As the other reviewers stated, PLJC shares no resemblance to any of the other Juicy Couture fragrances. The perfumer behind this scent, Rodrigo Flores Roux has mixed up some of my old favorites such as Mary Kay's Velocity, and Clinique Happy. I just read he is the nose behind Vacation, and that's a high priority on my want-to-try list.

Back to PLJC. This is a VERY green floral fragrance. If Gap Grass and Gucci Bloom Acqua di Fiori had a baby it would be PLJC. This will not be a daily wear or signature scent for me, but it's still fun. I especially enjoy wearing this on a sunny day outside, and it's just perfect for that. I get about 3 to 4 hours of this on my skin, longer on my clothes. PLJC will always have a place in my collection.

amg7613

A crisp, green and light honeysuckle fragrance. No sweetness (so if you are going into this thinking it’s going to be a typical early 2000s frag, you will be disappointed!). There’s a bit of patchouli in the background, which holds the fragrance onto your skin (I saw another reviewer had mentioned this and I wholeheartedly agree). I still think it is pretty and an easy wear. It’s not my favorite fragrance on earth, and I’m not going to move mountains to find it if it wasn’t at Burlington - but it still has a spot on my shelf!

Elegant Fragrance - Peace, Love and Juicy Couture by Juicy Couture

This is a beautiful light and silky smooth clean floral with great silage. This is absolutely not J'Adore Dior dupe as one of the reviews mentions. This was on the market long before J'Adore was marketed. (In Australia) as far as I am aware. I have both and they are similar as both are floral, but they are certainly not the same. If you think this is a Dupe, you must have a fake. In fact if you don't love this you must have a fake. It's a feminine, gorgeous easy to wear fragrance.

I paid close to $150 for my 100ml bottle a few years back. If you got a cheap bottle it's fake.

Constant compliments each time I wear Peace, Love and Juicy Couture by Juicy Couture, I can not recall one occasion of wearing it that I have not been asked what perfume I am wearing and where did I get it. I have not seen it for a while, so I am not sure if it is still available. It is a lovely clean floral that lasts all evening.

SheRays

This opens up sooo beautifully- like a bright juicy citrusy fruit. As soon as it hits my skins it turns HORRIBLE. This goes way too green on my skin for my liking. I'll be returning this.

FragaliciousScents

The scent reminds me of my brothers hair gel during early 90s, late 80s. It's very herbal and green, maybe a hippie would enjoy this. The package tells everything. This should be advertised for men. Theres nothing to like about it, scent even dissapears on clothing after an hour. Bought it because it was cheap but ended up selling it.

idle_cat

right off the bat it starts off with a very strong alcohol/lemon scent but settles after 1 minute or so to which it develops into a nice mostly white floral type of scent. Not really getting much fruitiness other than lemon; in the beginning you could just barely smell the apple but I couldn't detect it on the dry down. Even the strong lemon scent in the beginning gets kind of lost in the dry down. The dry down based on the accords mentioned is somewhat accurate but I would rank the fruitiness way lower. Only lasts about 3-4 hours and the silage isn't that great but it does have a really pretty floral summery dry down. Reminds me of a garden on a bright sunny morning with clear skies, morning mildew and super clean crisp air. Price wise you can get 100 mL EDP for $20 which is a steal!

SailorSydney95

This is an incredible J'Adore Dior dupe!! Just replacing the overly strong Jasmine with a bit of a more chilled greener twist. Almost like instead of just jasmine petals, you are getting some grass and leaves in there too.

That being said, I am really really disappointed by it as a blind buy for a sweet/patchouli/earthy vibe when I picked it up.
Believe by Britney is A LOT better and what I was expecting this to be like. (no real florals in that one)

Not a single fruit, no juicyness (ironically). Just uptight upperclass florals?
For that reason, I'm out. But will keep in mind for whenever I miss my overly priced bottle of J'Adore!

jesz

First whiff in Warm Weather: Juicy Couture La La Malibu's brunch mimosa citrus freshness
Mid notes: A laundry dryer sheet. Very clean.
Base notes after 1 hour: Neroli, gardenia, jasmine. (at least on my skin.)

In Cold temperature under 10°C, 70% humidity: The Patchouli and Green Grass comes to the spotlight. Freshness is almost sharply metallic here. I'd avoid it in cold.

In warm weather, I've gotten a few compliments by other women.

Red Jaguar

Really enjoy this one. It is very light and green, however it lasts, I think because of the patchouli, though you can't smell the patchouli. I think I will repurchase after this bottle I'm on because it's a good green scent that I'd l I'll keep to keep in my collection.

Miss.Tara

This is the closest to the discontinued Chanel Cristalle EDT.
A Scent by Issey Miyake wasn’t close,
DKNY Woman was even further (though I enjoy that one for the unique tomato leaf),
Chanel No19 is way greener and different (a favorite!), the whole Chanel Les Eaux line has only one, Deaiville that is similar to Cristalle in the first 30 minutes, but then that one goes into a warm scent scent. Lovely, but not a replacement at all.
This is a crisp light green floral. I’m so glad I accidentally bought the giant bottle of this as doubling the amount of sprays I normally do, 2-3, results a spring fresh, happy, refreshed cloud.
Cristalle also has the Chanel DNA which is obviously missing from this, but everything I was craving is here.

sunglow

A bright lovely classy charming gentle scent. I wear Peace Love on casual day such a easy not loud has a presence of remember me as you get whiffs of it. I spray a lil extra on walks to enjoy.

echurch1979

Well, well, well...Fragrance is such a fickle fellow...This has certainly moved up the ladder on my favorites list; particularly with warmer sails among us. I won't lie, the ingredients listed look a mess, the reviews indicate a disaster, and the rating falls below my lowest standards. Yet, I spent more than I usually would on a gamble all because I saw my dearest Rodrigo had perfumed this creation. What I received was as spectacular as I anticipated coming from this man! I've read below this less than humble opinion, and seen cross references to toilet cleaner and pet shops, and while I'm awkwardly chuckling at these creative comparisons, I can't help but feel slightly aback with bewilderment. The start for me, is the purest verdant awakening - like running wildly through a meadow with blades of grass macerating under the heel / toe rhythmic waltz of prancing joy. Or the violent clipping of stems to form a hasty bouquet celebrating a moment in life's brilliant cacophony of beauty and wonder. This perfume breathes in cadence with a bright freshness and an enduring naive spirit. As we reach dry down, it is as if we have smelled every part of the flower, from stem to petals, then ending in this ethereal sweet splendor. A coveted fragrant softness emerges; gentle and discreet.
To be fair to those unwilling to undergo this journey a second time, I can attest to a strange synthetic heart. A bridge between the genesis of an impeccable start and a envious finish. I think the strangeness of that territory is magnetic; almost addictive. But keep in mind, I also adore the smell of gasoline and gunpowder - separately of course. So if you find yourself curious or courageous enough, give it a go! You may be just as pleasantly stunned as I continue to be.

Darkgarden

A nice white floral, powdery;but a little childish. I have since out grown it since buying.
Was my first ever signature scent. I would recommend this for teen girls as a starter perfume/first perfume or special occasion gift 🎁

osy2017

This is a leather perfume to me, the package is fooling. This is good and unexpected quality. Juicy has some good juices. Not your usual JC staff, so some fans may be offended. This is more mature and sophisticated. Sorry Fans!

H_thur

My most failed blind buy. Smells of lemon bathroom cleaner to me…My boyfriend seemed to like it, but I can’t get past my disgust for it that I ended up giving it away. My friend seems to like it though!

lovealwaysalisa

Smells like summertime. Like I'm sitting outside as grass is being cut, chewing a piece of spearamint gum while my bestie sits next to me smoking a cigarette and I'm drinking an apple snapple. I literally smell minty grass with a bit of a menthol/tobacco vibe and a touch of apple and lemon. I actually like this a lot. Def for spring and summer, casual wear.

kittensescapades

I purchased this in hopes that it would smell more of patchouli and musk than anything else. As someone who collects Juicy Couture fragrances this perfume was a let down. To me it smells like freshly cut grass and Irish spring soap. This fragrance is definitely my least liked of the JC line. To add on to everything the bottle was also unappealing. I was hoping it would come with the beaded look around the neck of the bottle but it just came with an ugly stretchy band. The bottle also didn't come with the golden embossed logo it was just printed on.

Fouquet5%

I bought his one specifically because Juicy lovers didn't like it. I was pleasantly surprised with a fresh, green, light scent that is perfect for summer. Not sickeningly sweet like a lot of their previously made perfumes. I adore it
only $20 for a 100 ml bottle at a discount store

YesVeruca

I’m not a fan of the other Juicy scents because they’re so sweet but this one I really enjoy. I got it when it first came out and blew through the bottle. I love that it’s so green and fresh and, to me, unique. I saw it at Marshall’s and got it again and I still enjoy it just as much, although I’m disappointed by the change in the bottle and with the cheap hair tie. Easy to wear. For me it lasts for ages and achieves a hippie girl vibe that’s NOT the usual head shop.

Yes Malena

Sharp green static, as in fuzzed-out but in a rough green way. Going by the notes listed here, I believe it is the hyacinth that is very prominent; I do not know what a Red Poppy note would smell like. I think of Linden as quite sweet, and I'm not getting any of that. I've been wearing about three good sprays of the current formulation for about 3 hours now (on a cool breezy fall day), and hyacinth is still present, but it seems the base notes are not even there. Maybe I get some orris root, something like makeup but not very powdery? I do get that. But the immediacy of this perfume is like sharp green static.
I want to give this a chance, so I'm going to reapply.

After reapplying, I did smell the red apple fruitiness. Not much citrus to this; mainly a vague and sharp floral combination, with some green from the currant leaf, yes. The currant leaf does not smell like cat pee, btw. A touch of distant patchouli. Peace Love and Juicy Couture is not offensive to people generally, I don't think. Still, there's something overly sharp about this perfume, and I am not getting much for base notes so far. Patchouli very faintly. I don't get what is good about this perfume, but I'm still a bit interested. Who knows?

Edit: I ended up giving this to a family member who will really like it. It doesn't interact with me--just sits like an extra, irrelevant-if-pleasant appendage or layer. But I would love to enjoy this on others.

Dreamybomm

Gosh I really wanted to love this.
The descriptions here, green, fresh, grass, citrus, uplifting, fresh flowers, honeysuckle.
The initial spray is indeed all that. Very soon though, I only get old fashioned men's shaving cream.
It lasts really long as is always the case when I don't tolerate something.
Nice bottle, wish it looked like the pic here with turquoise beads. I make beaded jewelry so no problem to make a decoration similar. But do I really need to if I can't abide the drydown?
It's not patchouli that's turning me off as I don't sense patchouli.
Must be musk and the Hyacinth together. I love all the notes individually so I'm disappointed.
Going to put it on my husband and if it works for him, I'll make a lava and hematite bracelet for the bottle 🙂
If not I'll try a few more times and then gift it to someone.
I layered it with Lulu Guinness and it was a bit better but still shaving cream, meh.

MimesOtto

This is a perfect Summer perfume..it is fresh, greenish floral..inoffensive and not cloying for hot days. It is not overly feminine though, it can be unisex leaning feminine with weak to moderate performance. Juicy Couture perfumes are trashed unfairly, they are decent for the price. complicated perfumes have a special time and place.

sparklyunicorn

I love this fragrance. I am surprised it gets so much hate lol... I think it is fresh, green, and is perfect to get you energized in the morning when you struggle to get the day started. This citrusy, floral delight is one that I do not plan to let go of and one that I can appreciate as an uncomplicated easy-reach that will not offend anyone.

DeeDeeRay1025

For me this smells exactly like white rain shampoo from the 80's. I love it. It's very fresh. This is a great spring or summer scent. There is a certain amount of greeness to it. It's a good scent not a sickly remind me of shampoo scent.

eau de cocoa butter

Not my favorite. Very sharp and green. Smells like fresh grass with a hint of dirt. This is what I smell in the bottle and on my skin. I've been spraying like crazy to use it up because I don't like wasting money. Reminds me very much of Gap's Grass EDT, however, I enjoy Grass alot more.

Katiestark

This fragrance is just… Wow. Words can’t describe how much I hate this fragrance. I think it’s the Cassius and patchouli that does it for me. I’m pretty open to green fragrances but I can’t stand this fragrance. If I could describe this fragrance all I can think of is grandma, feet and grass. I’m not lying it smells like a grandma who rolled in grass and tried to cover it up with one of her regular fragrances. I’m sorry to those who actually like this fragrance but I can’t stand it. Sorry.

Stassa

Very different from the rest of Juicy Couture fragrances, green, earthy... it doesn't smell "juicy" at all. Has great lasting power and is definitely a summer fragrance. What I love about it is that it's not sweet and it's not sugary at all, I would say that it could be very easily worn at the beach, if it didn't have such a strong lasting power. I've been through several bottles of it and I always stock up when it finishes. The body creme of this fragrance is great as well and compliments it pretty nicely. Would definitely recommend it.

irenad87

Powdery floral with a hint of airy sweetness, which maybe the musk towards the drydown. It sits close to the skin.

I can totally see a mom of any age wearing this. She is kind and gentle. She prefers minimal makeup and accessories. You can always find her playing in the dirt with her child/children 🧡😊

raerrr

An earthy floral that was unexpected from Juicy. I was a die hard Juicy girl when my mom gifted this to me. I didn't mind this through the majority of the bottle. I got down to practically the bottom and it now longer agreed with me. I felt like an overdue cat box and one too many nag champas attempting to camouflage the ammonia near the end. I held onto this bottle for 10 years so there is the possibility that it turned.

cherylaf

I'm undecided on this - it is very fresh and very grass-like, but there is a note I don't particularly love.

Smells a lot like what I remembered Tommy Girl 10 to be like

A cheapie at my local drugstore so it's all good.

labonvie

Let’s get the bad news out of the way first. This is not Cristalle and this is definitely not Diorella. Not that I was expecting that anyway. The only thing this fragrance has in common with Diorella is the fact that they both come in a bottle. And, if you are a fan of green fragrances, as I am, you might not find this very green at all. Ok, there is some hint of green leafy/stemmy goodness but it is hidden by an overlay of synthetic clean. So, if you enjoy intensely green fragrances, you can go ahead and skip this one. But, if you normally wear sweet, fruity fragrances and want to dip your toe is the freshie pond, you might find this to your liking.

All that being said, this is not a bad fragrance. And, I do see the similarities to Cristalle. It even lasts a decent amount of time on my fragrance devouring skin, about 4-5 hours. Personally, I find that it’s a bit sweet for my taste, but I am probably an outlier. To all those looking for a Cristalle dupe, try Quartz by Molyneux. If you know of a real dupe for Diorella, please let me know.

JPtak06

Wow... I'm speechless! This perfume is so green, fresh, and beautiful! I never really considered on getting a signature scent but this now is my signature scent. It is so unique and it last quite a long time on my skin.

bintTapputi

Fresh, green, invigorating and surprisingly classy. Great for feeling youthful without a sugar high. For me personally, it's just a easy "dumb reach" perfume to wear just to smell pleasant. Probably one of the best Juicy Couture fragrances I've tried. 5/10

Quixotic Blue

Wow--was not expecting this scent from this bottle or this name! This is my first JC fragrance try, and I was expecting a fruit bomb! On application, I get the hyacinth right away and it fades quickly...it's a very light "green" scent. Such a surprise! On me the drydown is a skin scent of veeerrrry light hyacinth, apple and magnolia/musk. It keeps reminding me of really high-quality, upscale bath bubbles. Nothing commercial but really classy.

This is very different from most of the scents out there--could be the perfect signature scent for some.

Not going to lie: I was attracted to the original bottle. An eBay seller cancelled the sale because his brother-in-law's wife wanted the bottle I purchased, so I found a mini bottle to content myself with. As I understand it, the newer bottles don't have the tassels and beads.

Silliage and longevity are low. Very soft, green, and unassuming. Perfect office scent and fragrance for those who admire simple, subtle, natural scents with nothing that others would find offensive. Safe buy if you like green scents.

AlexandraM19

This is still the best JC fragrance, I don’t care. My signature scent. Green, fresh, feminine, juicy, soft. So unique next to its contemporaries.

lmwimsatt

Today I started with a sample of I love juicy couture and a couple hours later i put this on top. The greenery in this on was a pleasant transition from the sweetness in I love juicy.

kimothie

I’ll admit it— I bought this one because the bottle is very cute. The juice inside doesn’t match it very well, as it’s super green, like freshly mowed grass. Weirdly, I love the smell of lawn clippings, but I don’t love this because it lacks any sort of complexity beyond the one green note. The sillage is minimal and there’s not much in the way of longevity on my skin. I layered it with my favs, MFK A La Rose, and it smelled like a fresh, dewy rose for a few minutes and then promptly faded into nothingness. I picked this up for just under $20 at Marshall’s, and I’m super glad I didn’t pay any more for it. The bottle? It’s adorable, and probably suits one of the sweeter Juicy Couture fragrances a bit better.

Bomber81

GREEN GREEN GREEN.. and a little flowery, like fresh cut grass, in the best kind of way, with fresh cut spring flowers and a wee titch of patchouli. Lovely, and light. Office safe.
Only downside is that the sillage is so low I can barely smell it on myself, even when I layer it, and it only lasts about an hour. It's way overpriced for the longevity, so if you can pick this up on discount, do it. I love to wear it in the winter at home, to remind me of spring.
Lasts longer if you spray on your clothes. Never spray perfume in your hair - it dries your hair out.

oceanbreeze

To me this fragrance smells like spring. At the beginning it smells like a wet forest and grounds, very strong and not pleasant to me. I thought men could wear it. A couple of hours later it smells like hyacinth and I like that. The drydown is like May to me - I love it! In other words, the drydown smells like SWEET LOVE.

SeauxGood

I like the summery, upbeat tone of Peace, Love & Juicy Couture. It has an earthy-floral profile supported by some fruity notes. The linden flower is very strong. Somewhere, I detect a grassy note, almost like you’ve been out gardening. A previous reviewer said it smells like hay, and I totally get that. It mellows out on the dry-down, though, so don’t be alarmed. I do wish the honeysuckle was stronger, as it’s one of my favorite flowers. I’m also not getting the powdery quality I’ve come to expect from orris root. Performance is on the lighter side, so I’ll probably get the best use of this in warmer months. Overall, I can vibe with it, especially having snagged it on clearance at a discount store. I’m out to eat right now, and my server told me I smell amazing.

Daisy_Adair

Oh my gosh, I just sampled this in store after seeing it online for super cheap....I was thinking of blind buying it and I'm so glad I tested it in person.

This is......hippy vibes indeed. Smells extremely grassy, but also like hay. Upon first sniff it transported me back to my grandparents farm...& I realised I had smelled this before. Picture this: riding in a horse carriage that is transporting hay around a farm...barnyard after barnyard. There is something also faecal about it and I don't mean to offend anyone but dear god it's the only way I could describe it. Unfiltered description of the first 5 sniffs...a horse or donkey has pooped on some hay and you stepped in it and now have to deal with the smell until you get home. Again, no disrespect to anyone who likes this.

I do get some yellow florals in the dry down, but they are quite sharp and almost medicinal. Maybe it's just not reacting to my skin well, but never have I ever wanted to scrub off fragrance like I want to this one.

I get the hippy, weedy vibes people are getting, but it's too "naturey"if I can call it that. For those who like really herbal fragrances with sharp florals I think you'd like this. In the deep deep dry down this becomes more bearable as it smells like freshly cut grass with lemon. But this also gives me air freshener vibes so, it's really that much of an upside. I adore Tokyo Milk's Crushed, which is earthy and grassy, yet somewhat refreshing and elevated (certainly smells niche), and I think that one is done much better--more well-blended, longer lasting and intriguing. In terms of lasting power for this PLJ one, it's been about an hour and I'm already smelling the dry down so I don't think it stays in the top/middle notes very much (aside from the lemon which I'm picking up on now). I haven't smelled anything sweet all throughout. I love Patchouli, Jasmin, Orris, Honeysuckle and Cassis, but they are nowhere to be found here....at least to my nose.

In any case I hope this review is helpful to someone, because it is superrrr cheap online but dear god please test this one first!

P.S. I'm testing this in a colder temp, but can't imagine the notes reacting better on my skin during warmer months

Jabouba

OMG , I absolutely love 💗 this one and love the bottle.
It’s really light, floral and great for day time during hot summer days.
It reminds me of another perfume that I cannot recall now.
It’s a great option for teens and young ladies.

AMGMoonHalo

Fresh, green, sweet hyacinth, honeysuckle, and granny smith apple bouquet at first. A very pleasant beautiful scent suitable for everyday. I was nervous to get this based on reviews. But, it is definitely what I gravitate towards. I adore fresh scents and this is one I will adore. This definitely is not JC's typical syrupy sweet, gourmand. So if you want gourmands, this will not be your flavor.

summersunshine

I love this, especially if you can approach it outside of its other Juicy relatives. Its unlike most of their fragrances--its not a gourmand and a totally different type of sweetness. Its grassy and mellow, like you've had a picnic in a field of hay and wildflowers. No caramel or vanilla sweetness--if you're expecting something similar to most of the other Juicy perfumes, you will be disappointed. For that reason I think it may be a risky blind buy.

This is a great spring and summer scent. Its very green and light. Like grass with some delicate blossoms.

lmwimsatt

I just got a full size, 3.4oz bottle and it's not pretty like the one shown here! There is no 3D golden logo on mu bottle, just a a painted on one which is hard to see from afar. There are no beads on my cap or safety pin w charms, but at least there's a tassel. Dont buy this for display. It'sn't what it appears on here. That being said, if you love the sme, I've one to swap! DM me if you're interested.

milena.1

This is quite a little gem. I blind bought it after seeing a review on how soft it is...unusual for the sugar bombs I smelled before form JC. But here I am, pleasantly surprised. Early spring in a bottle, little bit sour and just a touch of sharpness but overall very pleasant everyday scent. When it settles down it becomes sweeter. I agree with a review below, smells like being outside all day.

haleigh03

Smells like fresh cut grass in the summer with white flowers. Its an interesting scent and I quite like it. It'd be perfect for a summer bbq or outside gathering. Only problem is the longevity. Lasts an hour tops!

cyanne

I bought this perfume months ago, but at first, wasnt impressed. I abandonef it for months, but this time when I gave it another chance, it helped to not compare to any of the otherJCs (which I adore). Its definitely more herbal than sweet...gives me a nostalgic shiver in the sunlight, but not for haight ashbury and flower children. Its more like fairies danced on my 90s grunge-hippie grave. Love its grassy brightness and sweet, soft florals.

oceanbreeze

At first this fragrance is strong and not pleasant, but in several minutes all that goes away and it smells like a freshly cut bouquet of flowers. On my sweatshirts it lingers for up to 3 days. I do not spray fragrances on my skin because they might turn unpleasant after layering them with other body products of not the same scent. So, I sprayed a fragrance on my hair or fabric and they last much longer this way. There's even a pendant locket with a piece of colored cotton or felt pads that can be sprayed with a fragrance and the scent will last much longer than sprayed on the skin.

Katchele

I really like this scent. To me it’s fresh, clean and airy. It makes me feel happy and opens my senses. I must really like patchouli. I get the same feeling when I wear Believe by Britney Spears, but Believe is sweeter.

natluvly

I liked this but something felt like it was missing. So something told me to try mixing this with some of my other more powdery and/or musky scents to give them some freshness. So I sniffed it with a few other scents and what I smelled was pretty pleasing. I am going to test it more layered w/other scents and see if I want to keep it.

SheAlwaysSmellsGood

I love this perfume only because it gives me a nostalgic feeling. To me (and this might be a weird comparison) I smell the bottom of my mom's purse when I was a little girl. She carried a small black leather purse and she would always have spearmint gum in it. I would go digging in it and the smell of loose tobacco leaves, mint, leather and vintage lipsticks mixed together to make this memorable smell that PL&JC resembles to me.

I love it. :)

natalie.pink

I get the hippy vibe they were going for... with "grass" "weedy" smells wafting through a music festival field.

Actually it smells like an old bouquet of carnations in stale water with a slight odd sweet synthetic (cassis) note. Just saying - it's not bad - it is just not remarkable.

It could have been really good with some extra musk and patchouli. They could have gone full hippy, instead it smells inexpensive, thin and alcoholy.

mevans

On initial spray I get some fruit but then it develops into an earthy, clean, woody scent. It's like you've been out in the fresh air all day. On me, it's very nice and I really enjoy it. Maybe a chemistry thing because I see the reviews are not so great. Maybe people are disappointed because they have a preconceived notion that it will be uber-sweet which is the norm for JC. My bottle is the one with the elastic band (for hair?) rather than turquoise and it was about $20. It wears very close to the skin. Nice daytime scent.

MorphineDreamzz

just received this in the mail, i purchased a 3.4oz bottle from ebay for $13.00. i thought it was a really good deal because compared to other sellers, this was about $15 cheaper. i just sprayed my wrist and i didn't get ANY of the notes that were supposed to be present. it kinda smells citrus-y on the first sniff, but the longer it sits, it smells peppery and kinda like a grandma perfume. idk if it's my body chemistry reacting to this perfume, but my nose doesn't like it.

update: *1 hr later*

my wrist smells like rubber, and some kind of flower. i can't place which flower it smells like because the rubbery smell is dominant. i don't like giving bad reviews, but this perfume has gotta go. i really wanted this perfume to smell good, i was really looking forward to wearing it this winter. i just can't do it.

Knothere2day

This is a very sweet floral clean scent i can almost smell a honeysuckle type note. One of my favorite flowers is hyacinth and I absolutely love that scent and you can definitely smell it and it stays pretty prominent but I'm not sure if I like the other scents just yet. Tiday is thr 1st day I've worn it. Ive sneezed a few times but that could be the regular spring time seasonal allergies here in my area. I will try to update this later.

kaide_nj

This just smelled like straight up dirt to me. I don't know what combo caused that but this was nothing like the other Juicy scents. I had the HUGE bottle as I got a good deal but I was so excited that I was able to give this one away.

jannyperry

I don't understand the hate this scent is getting. I do understand that typical Juicy buyers want that sweet gourmand scent. I personally do not care for it. When I read reviews like smells like fresh cut grass, and not sweet at all, I knew it was one I would like. My god I was right! So fresh, citrusy, bright and fun! Reminds me of Chanel Chance eau Fraîche. That happens to be my signature scent. I'm very pleased to had given this a chance. This is a beautiful scent. One happy buyer here :)

gr8belief

Reminds me of a summer version of Clinique Wrappings.

lilysong24

Oh I adore this. It’s freshly cut dewy grass to me. I’ve searched for this for twenty years. I say this because about twenty years ago I purchased Michael by Michael Kors and loved it. Some time later I looked for it again and found it, but the scent no longer smelled of grass but of heavy Gardenia which is not a favorite. I swear up and down it was simply called “Michael “....and the one currently available is nothing like the former I wore. So this Juicy discovery is a dream come true for me. I have purchased a second bottle as the first is now half gone. Perfect for every day, addictive green freshness.

dormir6

Chanel L'Eau 5 should be something like this. Sparkling, beautiful, fresh and sophisticated. Very very good and longlasting! Classy and youthful.
I loved Gucci Envy So I love this fresh perfume with iris.

sandycane

Just received 9 Juicy samples today... Loved six of them, two I like and this one smells like a barn full of fresh-cut hay. Definitely a dislike.

justfloral

Artificial yellow/green apple (with artificial violet undertones) + hoarfrost covered grass and stones + vinyl note + sweetness of fruit syrup.

The apple note reminds me of scented ink ball pens. Grass note is detectable, but it is scent of grass after a first frosty night in November.

Yes! It's COLD!! and sad. Very 90-ties. A little bit similar to 5-th Avenue but colder, frosty, with prominent apples.

scarlett.angel

At first I loved the fresh cut grass scent of this, but found it sitting in the back in storage for years. Today is the perfect day to rediscover it. It's summer here and a terrible heatwave, over 35°! All my usual perfumes become cloying in such heat and lead to a headache and nausea. I sprayed this on today before having to go out in the extreme heat. I didn't want anything sweet, just fresh, so this is perfect for such days. In the heat, it becomes more than just "cut grass" and I can actually detect the light floral notes, all notes I normally love but can't smell in this. It doesn't last long on skin, so I kind of use this as a refreshing body spray. I spray my shirt, hair, you can't really overdose on it. It just makes me feel awake and refreshed. I got the huge bottle on sale like a lot of people. Which I don't need to repeat, the bottle is gorgeous and appeals to my nature, spiritual side.

Edit: after a while in the heat is actually blooms on skin, nothing overwhelming, just the floral and fruit notes pop out.
My mum used to have Blue Grass, and this is the lighter more modern version. She used to call it her "hippie scent" haha

Coco2u

I have this fragrance sample.

Just sprayed it ... first top notes are very strong, dominate and smell like fresh cut grass. Now it's turning into a mixture of fresh cut grass and ??????.

Wait a minute ... the fresh cut grass scent has toned down a bit but is still present (this green smell is also a bit cloying) with faint notes of lemon, lime and bitter hyacinth.

Not really a fan of this one. I guess this scent requires a certain body chemistry to make it smell beautiful ...

or all day you'll smell like you've cut the grass.

This scent is definitely an acquired taste (or should I say 'smell').

Update: 15 minutes later - I'm still smelling fresh cut grass but with a faint, light jasmine.
Now it smells like fresh washed laundry and the green isn't so cloying.

Nice, but I'd rather wear my Elizabeth Arden's Blue Grass.
Or maybe later I'll change my mind. : )

OK, OK ... wore this to work yesterday and after 2 hours the dry down was amazing. I realize you just have to give it time. A light version of Jessica Simpson's Fancy Love on my skin. Loving it!!!
OK, so I would wear this instead of Blue Grass. : )

12birch

Comment only based on final notes after 5 hours.
-Smells fresh and warm breeze e.g. yacht ride + wearing freshly washed cloth.

Vivavoice

To be honest I just got this because I love the bottle! And it was on offer. The JC line screams of Sugarland to me and I am a vintage Chypre lover. So I avoided this line like the plague even though those bottles are my cup of tea.

This perfume is light and inoffensive. Flowery citrus and earthy leaves that ground the sugar. It has a happy hippy uplifting sweet vibe to me and yes, its grassy. Like Chloe Narcisse has that tart green thing going that makes it so worth my while. Cassis is that note I am guessing, along with the light Patchouli in the base Its not spectacular, and I would recommend it for those who don't crave sweetness in every perfume.

I will be reaching for this on any warm day. Its refreshing so I will use it as a mood enhancer anytime of year. Flowery with a green edge that stops it being too little girly sweet. Perfect for a Summer or Spring day. Sillage moderate. Its clean soft and feminine but not boring . That bottle is a keeper! Love it.xx

Timby

I think the great deal of dislike for this scent stems from a basic mismatch between this brand /the other of its fragrances and the followers it has garnered...vs. this fragrance.

I feel this is a great bitter, peppery, green, floral drydown fragrance. The person who likes this, is generally not a classic "Juicy" fan. And vice versa. This scent is more along the lines of Cristalle, Green Tea, Alliage..etc..clean, crisp, sporty..... no frills and pink here.

dvpxo

This perfume stunk something horrible.

Stasi

I bought this specifically because of the reviews saying it smells like fresh cut grass - a scent which I love but I can never find a fragrance that replicates it accurately. PL&JC is grassy at first but then it settles to a semi-sweet white floral. It's not anything special (smells just like Burberry Weekend and Maria Sharapova's perfume), but at least it's different for the Juicy Couture line.

thingsnaominose

I get mostly the Meyer lemon and a green patchouli from this, with a floral underneath that keeps them from smelling too sweaty. It's an interesting juxtaposition of clean and earthy, though not dirty, and it's great for a spring or early summer day, with a boho tunic and some Birkenstocks- it's casual and doesn't try too hard, and doesn't expect to please everyone. I wouldn't call it sexy, but it's fun and quirky.

Edited to add: I've realized that what this mostly smells like to me is very young boughs, stripped of the bark. To a lesser extent, the stems of hardy flowers as they are being trimmed for the vase.

Tigi

This lovely, green and very Springtime in a bottle perfume immediately reminds me of a much softer Estee Lauder Pleasures, which I also own and love. The two are not dupes for one another but very much olfactory siblings, as in: if you enjoy one of them you will likely appreciate the other as well.

So far, and since I just received this fragrance, I prefer to wear this one in the warmer temps offered by Spring, looking to the Summer heat as well for this lovely scent.

So far on me, the performance is a soft sillage that lasts moderately, which makes the value on par for average (bang to buck ratio). No complaints at all! The bottle is lovely, elegant in its simplicity.

Overall? 7/10
Very nice and my favorite of the JC scents which I've tried so far.

sandifitzg

This was a blind buy at Shoppers Drug Mart (no tester) I was expecting a 60's fragrance with patchouli, sandalwood and Jasmine and was surprised to discover a green scent. It is a sweetish, bitter green. It takes a few minutes for it to dry down and bloom on the skin. I used 4 sprays. I sense lime and lily of the valley. It is refreshing and great for spring and summer. The sillage is subtle but it definitely floats subtly above the skin. It is Eternity's shy sister. Similar vibe but Eternity is much bolder and only requires 2 sprays. The bottle is charming and a keeper for sure and I love the hot pink box.

Soofiya

Lately I decided to collect all juicy couture perfumes that I can find.most perfume shops don't have tester bottles so anyone that wants to buy them has no choice but blindbuy.luckily today I saw a tester bottle of peace, love and juicy couture and tested it on my skin.well, however I had read the reviews, still I was shocked.
I agree that the reason of so many dislike is that people expect something different from this brand.this is not a bad perfume for someone who appreciates green and grassy, slightly lemony, slightly floral scents.well I hate this type of perfumes.of course there are some exceptions even for me,for example I like "issey miyake a scent" or "chanel NO.19" which belong to same category but peace, love and juicy couture is definitely not for me.all I could smell was grass, wet grass and soil to be more specific and a hint of something like a tart lemony/fruity cleanser liquid.probably it doesn't agree with my skin chemistry not much of florals or fruits showup on me.that wet grassy-earthy aspect lasts til the end just that it becomes a bit more tolerable in dry down as it gets a bit warm and I can smell faint florals, but still not something I can say that I like
I was so lucky that I didn't blindbuy this one as I couldn't use it but it's good to see different jobs from a brand

Tracyarts

This is one of my favorite budget-friendly hot weather fragrances. Citrusy, green, earthy, and just a little bit floral. No sweetness at all. It reminds me of being out in a field in the sunshine. Not so great staying power. And the drydown is very earthy.

pixiewinks

This is my favorite Spring/Summer scent! It blows my mind how many people dislike this one.
It’s very floral & grassy...fresh yet dirty in the best way. I just love it and have it in all sizes!

Glamamour

I am a sweet gourmand type girl but this is nice for a change. I would sit it next to Tommy Girl, Happy by Clinique and Lovely by SJP just to name a few. Very clean and springy.

JennyNoelle0203

Just bought this as a blind buy from Marshall's. After reading all the negative comments I was afraid to try it and thought for sure I wasted my money. Now that I'm wearing it though I'm relieved because I actually like it. I don't think I would ever pay full price for it but it is a nice clean and earthy scent with a hint of sweetness. It will be perfect for the summertime when you want to spritz something on and feel fresh.

rache8830

I love it at first smell, then I realised don't like it anymore. I only used this four times, the scent is too strong for me.

mapache

While at Tj Maxx today...found this on clearence big size bottle for $12. Finally sniffed it after all this time. I can see the resemblace to Chanel Cristalle..but this is not a dupe for sure...nor does it smell like Diorella It is a lemon/floral vibe...a tad green/grassy ...but not too too much.I get a lot of hyacinth/lily of valley type floral punch too. LOl..like an other reviewer stated...there is a Windex vibe when first sprayed...but that leaves quickly...lol..thank the Lord. It can be a nice light/airy spring summer scent.
Remarkable...??? Not really...but not bad...simple scent.Kind of reminds me of Calvin Klein BEAUTY...(?)

Edit: Ok..OK....In the drydown...I am getting similar vibes of Diorella !! WAIT..be patient...the drydown is worth it....(Oops !)

Erinbath22

This is green grassy and lemon-floral, breezy and cool. It will remind me a bit of Windex for a few seconds sometimes, but I can't be mad at it for that because it's just so darn pretty and changes so drastically during the course of wear.
I feel like the juice should be light green. An hour and a half in the patchouli tiptoes in and mixes with some tangy fruit (apple? Currant?) to produce one of the most delicious, tangy, fruity-tart dry-downs I ever smelled! Really warms up the fragrance. Goes on like this for hours. 5+...
Just don't go in expecting sweet and fruity. If you like the idea of citrus, green smells, fresh flowers, and a little touch of tangy fruit, this is for you.
Seriously, the drydown! A very addictive smell. I think this is a sprightly, springy-summery one, but I even want to wear it now in the fall. The dramatic haters of this perfume were so compelling I almost didn't try it but I'm glad I did.

SandyMelak

I am a huuuuge fan of juicy couture brand , girly , cute and amazing original bottles .. even when they do floral mature scent ..
however
This is a SHOCK
it's one of the worst scents I have ever smlled in my entire life ..
I could not believe that juicy couture makes such an awful smell .. I bought it blindly .. I thought how bad can it be , it's juicy couture
but then .. BAAM shock

annatakeahike

Great for when you want your hubbies to come home and say, "wow hon, did you just clean the bathroom?"

diamond74

Most people buy this thinking they are getting a sweet vanilla fragrance, thats why there are so many dislikes. Peace Love and Juicy is a green, earthy, fresh scent. On me it opens up strong, with fresh cut grass. It quickly turns into a slightly sweet floral and fresh smell. Its not offensive and is clean. Its more of a spring/summer perfume. I really like it. On the other hand I don’t care for the cheap looking, new packaging. The older bottles are so much prettier.

Beadvised

Not a fan, this smells very cheap and it smells like a fragrance from Victorias secret. Too sweet too floral doesn't blend well. I find it a bit offensive and over the top. Silly looking bottle.

inc0rporeal

Funny how fragrance is so personal and subjective, never the same experience for anyone. The same exact scent can smell 1,000 different ways to/on 1,000 people.

I really like this and I'm not a Juicy fan in the least! Earthy indeed. Incomparable to their usual fruity-floral offerings. There is a slight dirtiness that accompanies the green notes which could be turning people off of it (or the greenness alone can do that for a lot of people). But once it gets past this opening, on me it blooms into a sexy, sexy somewhat sweet floral with some remaining bitter green. Try it on your own skin and see how it plays with your chemistry before buying.

Lilmary310

I thought Juicy Couture could do no wrong, but I definitely did not enjoy this. I picked it up from TJ Maxx and the bottle looked fake. Even though TJ Maxx does not allow you to return open boxed fragrances, I walked right back in (after just walking out & opening the box), and told the sales associate that it looked inauthentic. She told me because they are a discount store , that the packaging could be different and that's how they can sell it for cheaper. I never knew that!!! Allegedly the juice is the same, packaging is cheaper. Knowing this, I womt repurchase from a discount store. I enjoy the original packaging; it, to me, is part of the experience.

Anyway, as to the fragrance..... it smells cheap. There's a spicy element to it which I didn't care for. Definitely smell thlike musky undertone. I just didn't like it. So far, Viva La Juicy remains the winner in the Juicy Couture line in my opinion.

Heathw619

Whoa! That's the first thing I think of when I smell this fragrance. It's so strong to me. It's nothing like any other juicy fragrance. It's not sweet at all. Please don't buy if you like sweet smells. This definitely isn't the one for you. Or me. Lol. It's an earthy scent. It's sharp and loud and in my opinion can be offensive if you get spray happy. The only plus for this fragrance for me is the beautiful bottle. Other than that it's a no for me!

Iloveperfume51

I also had bought the wrong bottle, one with a hair elastic around the top instead of a turquoise bracelet. The main reason I had purchased this perfume was for that bottle. :( The scent to me smells like I had expected. Similar to other juicy perfumes but instead of the sweetness it is strong in the grass notes. Like juniper almost but not quite. I suppose that is the "cassis" note. It is an interesting perfume I would have loved it more if I had the nice bottle.

Peace Love and Juicy couture- how I hated you last summer when you came to me (bought wrong bottle by mistake)!
You were green, sharp, loud and not even the least hint of sweetness. I hated you and wanted to swap or throw you away! But I didn't!
Now almost a year later I tried you on again after discovering more than just white flowers.

Peace Love and Juicy couture- yes you are green, sharp, loud and you don't have any hint of sweetness! I'm sorry for I said I hated you! You are indeed strong and sharp- just the way I want to feel! Now you are my "pick me up" early mornings and daytime and you remind me of my need to put my self first in hand!

You have moderate silage and stays on my skin for about 5-6 hours. Suitable for women that knows what they want!

savageinstrangeland

I personally wasn't crazy about this fragrance because it didn't last on me. 30 minutes and it totally vanished. I did want to let fans of this fragrance know though that TJ MAXX currently has bottles upon bottles of this stuff 3.4 oz for only $19.99! It has been discontinued so if you love it I suggest you go get it while you can. I saw 3.4's for 20$ at two different TJ's and one Marshalls. Get it while you can.

Sammi_co

It's very earthy but crisp and fresh at the same time. The first time I tried it I hated it. But that had more to do with my preconceptions. I'm used to juicy cents being sweeter. Not so much the tuberose bomb of the original, but needless to say I was not expecting this fragrance to come out of that bottle. And what a beautiful bottle it is. Classic and bohemian. A bit like the fragrance. A zesty aromatic fragrance with a side of gritty. It's become one of my favourites for its uniqueness and it's uplifting abilities.

Nazl.Nazl

The top note is absolutely lovely. It reminded me of Annick Goutal Petite Cherie and le Jasmine. After 5 minutes the frangrance turns into a sharp and pungent smell like a cheap perfume. Got it cheap in Australia anyway. Aud30 for 100ml. Overall I like this perfume but not crazy about it. Longevity is about 3 to 4 hours.

LoveJoy22

Peace, Love and Juicy Couture:~ Earthiness that truly smells of fresh dirt! That note is then beautifully blended through out with Citrus & Watermelon Jolly Ranchers!?! There is a floral denseness that keeps this scent truly Hippy Chic, & I really do love it! I am almost done with a full bottle, & I do intend to repurchase!

lisawarrick79

I purchased this perfume without knowing what it smells like especially on me. and OMG I am so glad i did, I am so in love with the scent, it smells clean, and has that earthy smell to it. this is one of my go to scents. I just love it...

Kath Grace

It is definately not like the other JC fragrances which could account for the "dislikes". I personally love this fragrance. Floral and green, fresh and clean. It is a perfect day fragrance for spring and summer and safe for the office. Well worth the 20$ blind buy!

gypsykitten

I had tested this years ago and remembered not liking it. Either my taste has changed or my expectations have. This reminds me a lot of A Scent by Issey Miyake, but where that one was a bit too sharp and bitter for me in the end, this one has a touch more sweetness and earthiness to round it out. I actually really like this scent for days when I'm sick of flowers and candy. Plus the bottle is pretty cute. Oh, and the price is great too!

Eden within

Spring flowers, sunshine and green grass in a bottle! A rather complex scent with a clear character considering this is from the house of Juicy Couture! An unexpected surprise!

If you are a gentleman who also loves women's fragrances, this is the Juicy Couture for you, everything else that I have tested came across as overly feminine, stereotyped and somewhat lacking in personality. Peace, Love & Juicy Couture breaks this trend!

I am not one to focus on the notes as I write my review but I love to try and describe how it feels, it feels like you are an earth child, your priorities do not align with those imposed on you by society, you are a rebel, you have your own values... You are an activist, you fight for what matters to you! You are empathetic!! You are not competing with the girl in the little black dress wearing far too much makeup because you are... love, peace and most importantly, yourself!

Julie Chit

I wanted to like this but I didn't. It remainds me a lot of Honey by Marc Jacobs. I am returning it back from where I bought it. There is officially not a single Juicy Couture scent for me to like.

sblume490

I bought Viva LJ when it first came out and loved it. Through the years I replaced the bottle several times but would then relegate it to the back. It is one of those scents that I always come back to because I guess it really does appeal to me. Whenever I smell it on a piece of my clothing I can't stop sniffing. I tried this because it sounded intriguing and my first smell of it was a lot of different than what I had expected.

I was expecting something dirtier and heavier. As soon as I sprayed it I immediately remembered my obsession with Finesse shampoo in the 80s. It smells almost identical to the 80s version.

I love that smell so it's okay with me. I don't love it like I love VLJ but I had sprayed it on a shirt a week ago and put that shirt on last night and found that I loved the smell on clothing after a week;)

peace, love and GRASS

LenaT

Honestly, I had bought this perfume to add on to my JC collection. I really liked the bottle. It was surprising since I prefer sweet scents. Yet this perfume I really like. It's clean and fresh, It's hard to describe but I smell the flowers with the leaves. It's very earthy. I am so glad I have it.

ladenu

Given that its a citrus based perfume I thought it would be a little sour and overwhelming but no. It is delightfully sweet, fresh, very earthy and flowery as well. Very nice for spring.

westernlady

After reading the boards, I know this particular Juicy fragrance is not well received. However, I absolutely love it. To me, it's fresh-cut grass and bright citrus. There is a slight sweetness to it, probably from the apple, but it's very delicate. Peace, Love, and Juicy is a clean, outdoorsy sort of scent.

I would describe it as green and definitely unisex. It is not overwhelming, and it has a pretty average lasting power. I regret selling my bottle of this and will have to find another at some point.

Lynnieb82

I adore this fragrance. I can understand the haters as it's not like any other in the JC range. I feel the fragrance is perfectly matched to the look that JC were going with. This is to me Boho in a bottle. Earthy, fresh and relaxed. A great scent for day time. I love the little bit of bling on the bottle also. Cute.

nitschevo

This is gorgeous and classic smelling - very similar to Cristalle and a scent by IM. A clear and green scent without any sweetness. It's quite "grassy" and mossy and dries down wonderfully. I am not surprised that this one wasn't a commercial success, the JC crowd expects at least a pinch of sugary sweetness :) But if you're a fan of the similar scents listed above - try this one out. Longevity and sillage are both moderate and the bottle as usual very beautiful!

AuroraFisherman

I bought this by mistake (Actually I thought I bought Viva la juicy) and eaven tough it is a very pretty scent I can't wear it because the three main notes I feel is hyacinth, lemon and musk and sadly those gives me a headache...
I like it but not on me. My eight year son loves it so sometimes I allow him to wear it and lightly applied it smells lovely on him.
Longlivety is about 5-6 hours and radiates a little more than armslengt.

JackieM

Though I don't love it, it's good enough for a daytime summer scent for me. Very outdoorsy, tangy, not sweet, energetic.

ticalica

I was on the lookout for a daytime summery office scent that would have remarkable longevity and arm's length sillage.

I had tested this back when it first released and thought of it as a dusty green stem of a flower that is yet to bloom.

Six years later, I bought it based on my memory of how it smelled and it has not changed a bit.

Suits my purpose: yes
Interesting: yes, no, yes, undecided!
Price: bought through amazon for a very good deal

It smells of moss, maybe vetiver, hyacinth and a few lemon oil drops on a background of faint magnolia and lavender

I also do understand why it has garnered so many dislikes.. This is not what the Juicy Couture customer is looking for.. It is definitely above their target customer's age and is not gourmand, candy-like or syrupy sweet. It is a dusty earthy floral mix.

Miffy8900

To me it smells like a fabulous and weird mix of Oscar de la Renta 'Something Blue', Chanel 'Cristalle' and Juicy Couture 'La La', which I found too teenage-y and bland . This is more grown up - lemony, grassy and discretely floral . Like a modern day Elizabeth Arden 'Blue Grass'! I can see the hippie/70's feel it has. It also have the classic Juicy Couture note, in the drydown. Usually I like heavy sweet and oriental fragrances so this is totally out of my regular ways. But I really like it - fresh, powdery, grassy. The bottle is so cute, and I was so dissapointed when I realized my 30 ml small bottle is not wearing any turquoise pearls or charms - only the bigger bottles does :(

Margreet

The longer I have it the more I love it. Let's start with the fact that I actually bought it spontaneously and was curious if it's really that bad as dislikes would suggest. I like flowery powdery a bit sweet scents. Not fan of any fresh cucumber watery thing. Tho, this thing is sucha weirdo, it feels dusty and fresh at the same time. I first had to think if I even would like to wear it but now I spray it always to keep my mood up. I think it's great in warm humid weather(not too hot). It's a very youngfull and classy at once, fresh scent. I really think that all those dislikes come from the people who expect candy

fyrewoman

I ordered a full size Juicy Couture by Juicy Couture, which i have a small bottle of, and this was sent to me by mistake. I thought i smelled apple & hyacinth instead of the watermelon and caramel i was expecting to be mixed with honeysuckle.

Cassis and orris are among my least favorite notes because they usually ruin perfume compositions for me but not in this case. They are not overpowering. The red apple, linden blossom, hyacinth and honeysuckle save the day. Thank goodness. Magnolia and poppy stand out to me too. I also find the patchouli to be pleasantly green without feeling dirty hippy on my skin at all. I like it and am hoping this will grow on me even more over time. I may just keep this one instead of sending it back.

Light projection. Lasts 4 hours that way until it turns into a skin scent for 2 more hours.

dormir6

Juicy, Juicy you missed the address....
You are a classy, fresh, elegant one. For the nose of teenagers you may be a strong dose of grass, and moss. But NOOO. It is far cry from the big mossy, galbanum based old parfumes. It is very fresh, springlike, but can be worn all year round. It is close to Chanels.
Crystall clear, ozonic, fresh air and florals. No dirty, no earth, no hippy feeling. It is a Miss, a classy, happy, clean young creature.

Canuck_Kat

This fragrance is far too sweet and floral for my tastes. It's a scent for a more younger crowd, in my opinion (I'm 45). Thankfully, it wasn't expensive. I ended up giving it to my daughter.

Scentlover22

I had really high hopes for this perfume but I was disappointed with the scent.

I normally stay away from sweet smelling perfume which is why I didn't own any of the Juicy Couture fragrances.

Over the past few months however, my taste have been evolving quite a bit and had this overwhelming crave for a fruity/sweet scent; so naturally I thought that something from this line would suit me well.

This smelled really "minty" on me and had no sweet/fruity notes at all. I don't like perfumes with mint notes because all I can think about, is the fact that I smell of toothpaste.

chanelnumerocinq

PLJC was marketed as a bohemian hippie type scent, but not like a real 1960s Woodstock type hippie. The kind of hippie Juicy Couture has in mind are rich girl hippies who buy overpriced pre-distressed jeans, like Blake Lively’s character in the movie Savages (2012). To that end, I think Juicy Couture hits the nail on the head and I actually really like their interpretation of modern hippie that they went with.

This perfume does smell earthy, but not in a full-blown patchouli way. PLJC smells like green vegetables and soil. There is a good hint of iris. It is cool and fresh. It also smells very lemony. So while earthy, is also rather clean feeling. The drydown is actually a little spicy and there is a hint of fruitiness. Just about the girliest earthy green floral you can imagine. As is typical with Juicy Couture, the lasting power is on the weaker side, reapplication becomes necessary for a full day of being out and about.

I think it’s interesting, but Juicy Couture clientele expect variations on Viva La Juicy so it was not a commercial success and got discontinued but it’s still easily found at discounters like TJ Maxx, Ross, Marshall´s etc. I think it´s unfortunate it was so disliked as I think it´s marketing concept is executed well and it´s actually a unique scent not only for Juicy Couture but for designer and mainstream scents in general.

Bigsly

Wow, if someone had told me this was a great accomplishment in niche perfumery I wouldn't argue the point (not being that knowledgeable about citrus/floral scents)! And I'd say it's unisex, at least for the niche crowd. At first the floral elements are as strong as the fruit one, then it's the fruit with the powdery/iris element. There's also a very mild patchouli and amber/vanilla thing, as one finds in A*Men type scent bases. At first the "quality" may not quite be niche level, but after a short while it really comes together. The drydown is more designer-like, as it's about the pleasantness of the blend more than a focus on a note or accord. I didn't get much of a grassy, mushroom-like, or plastic quality, the way some others did, thankfully, and the citrus lasts a long time without ever being metallic. I'm quite surprised by how interesting and pleasant it is.

pamela091083

Alysha

There is nothing floral about this. The first time I sprayed it, I was disappointed. I prefer gourmands and white florals. This one seemed like sweet mushrooms and grass. After the initial spray it starts to have a plastic bag smell while its drying down. I think that's the patchouli, which is a version of patchouli I do not care for. After I took a shower, I smelled my wrist and it wasn't bad, but not particularly good. A muted version of the perfume.

The bottle is beautiful, stunning, and very heavy glass. It's a shame that the perfume inside was so bleh. It's not exactly offensive, it's just not something I would spray all over myself and enjoy. I do not have a taste for this one.

BrittneyN

Ugh! I literally had to run to the restroom to wash this off when I tryed it on at Kohls. I wondered what could cause the funky, dirty smell I got & I think it was the cassis & ora root that just did not mix well with my skin chemistry. Patchouli is one of the few grassy scents that I can wear, so I doubt it was the patchouli. If grassy scents work well with your skin chemistry, then give it a try, but I definetly would not blind buy this one. Test it first.

lulu169

I can definitely smells a lot of Aldehyde in there

KellyKel

Love this. White flowers, green, honeysuckle, and though not one of the notes, I get a very definite gardenia with undertone of slight musk. This is definitely one of the better Juicy perfumes. This can be a very loud perfume if you overdo it. The dry down does take some time so if you have to go to church or work, apply as soon as you are out of the bath.

SeafoamMermaid

Quirky, interesting and free! Moderate silage and longevity.

perfumeproblem777

This is COMPLETELY different from the other Juicys. So green and fresh, it smells just like Escada Magnetism on my skin, which I ended up giving away because it ended up smelling like grass on my skin. I don't smell any sort of fruit or citrus notes whatsoever in this. Definitely a nice scent, and one that will not offend anyone around you if you wear it. Not my taste though, so I will not be buying a full bottle of this.
Keep shining, you beautiful people!

KATERINA LABROPOULOU

For me this is a spring perfume, with the cassis note quite intense which a very fresh and heavy green aroma. Similar to Miyake "A scent" and Burberry's "London", really you fill exactly the same sense. The flowers are well blended and the patcoulli kicks in with an interesting touch similar to Japanese designers perfumes. It is long lasting and the bottle is very nice. Overall happy with my choise because I really hate the other sweet cloying perfumes from Juicy.

Rebelrebel

It's very earthy. I get lots of the Hyacinth and lemon at first, barely any apple. It then dries into something that makes it hard to detect any specific notes, which might just be my nose as I'm not very good at telling what scent is which note yet. However, it is VERY very flowery and earthy at this point, and a bit musky which my brother even commented on. So I asked if it was old lady musk or a nice musk, he said it was a nice musk. So I don't think it smells old lady-ish at all. The bottle is adorable. I have the small 1oz one and it's so pretty.

So, it is very earthy, musky, and "hippie". Even though I tend to prefer overly sweet fragrances, I love this one.

Brunette_Bombshell

Very fresh, clean, sharp, ordinary scent. It has nothing special. This to me is very very similar to CK Eternity Moment. It has an average longevity and projection. I wouldnt invest that amount of money in this perfume. The bottle is very cute though.

nutpojjanapimol

I blind buy this perfume and felt quite up set with its gree note..It s fresh which I like but not its smashed grass note... then I bought one local brand from Thailand Kengsohigh Lust of rose. I layer them and Oh My..this is the senct that i have been loking for...fresh, humble rose, clean and innocent with a hint of sexy..
luv them now.

sharon.marcum-heiman

I love this perfume I wear this one most.

Lauren Da

Obviously this one is not the typical girly stuff and it is not for everyone... however it is a great alternative if u want to try something more daring equally feminine but not on the fruity floral side. This one belongs to the green type of perfumes and it reminds me or rosaboranica balenciaga in a sense. A botanic retro scent, which makes a beautiful difference. Plus in order to be unique it has to be different ;-)

miZZpuRRfect

Strange perfume. I find it s not balanced at all. the hyacinth is the unique note along with zesty lemon, i can detect. Maybe some orris on the drydown, which is not lovely standing alone. No honeysuckle, no sweetness as far :/ It s not creamy or powdery, it s rather boring and harsh on me. Sorry :/ but i keep it because the bottle is amazing. I layer it with giorgio beverly hills blue, another hyacinth scent, which one smells exactly how this one should have ben smelling, and it smells good together.

Nb this you can buy so cheaply on ebay or amazon, guess why. Hey it s juicy couture??!!! Has to have ben a mega flop for the company. Just guessing....

nellyrlight

this smells just like Cristalle of Chanel to me..I LOVE it!

Shelly84NZ

The initial whiff as you spray is sour and unappealing, but disappears almost immediately into a fresh scent that smells like fresh cut flowers - if you happen to be holding them upside down and sniffing the stalk! Imagine the scent of rubbing a leaf from a lemon tree between your fingers.

This fades away, and in about ten minutes you have a sweet scent with underlying cut grass. It's lovely! But it doesn't project very far, I doubt people would know I'm wearing it.

Jubu

Love, love, love this perfume! Very rich and heady. Disagree with some reviewers about staying power. This perfume stays on me all day long. It's very much 1970 without the "dirty" hippie smell. The patchouli is more sophisticated in this, but still the parfum is very playful and fun.

Fhaldara

Fresh green floral, starts off very grassy then I get a strong hyacinth note with a hint of citrus, honeysuckle and jasmine with a musk and patchouli finish. I like this fragrance very much, but wish it had a little more longevity - it fades very quickly on me.

nutpojjanapimol

.I have just bought it yesterday. In the bottle it smells clean fresh with a hint of sweetness like green tea Kitkat...on me it is too green like newly cut grass or smashed leaf and lemon skin without any scents of flowers. well, I dont like it but I guess someone will like this kind of perfume ... But the most disappointing thing is it fades very fast... Ahhh so sorry for myself, it is OK but not on me.

Arlene-Beatrix

Heavy hyacinth scent, I am not surprised that it has so many dislikes! It could be described as intense floral & green fragrance. I think it is suitable only for people who like strong floral bouquets. Not for me for sure!

doowee.teja

I tend to stay away from juicy couture perfume, either its too sweet or girly. This peace and love is perfect, not sweet, not girly yet very green. its perfect for spring and summer.

I understand why people tend to don't like this one coz its too green for some people's taste. But i love this kinda perfume coz it blends well with me.

You know how different person has a different chemical reaction to the same perfume. I adore this perfume, and glad i bought the big bottle since they discontinue this bottle..

miss.zara

I was so excited to try this looking at its beautiful bottle but after trying i quickly had to go wash this off! It literally smelt like cat pee...enough said lol

roguelobster

Typically, I stay far away from anything labeled Juicy Couture as I associate the brand with 20-year-old college girls (I'm 34). But I stumbled upon this page on Fragrantica and from the perfume notes, accords, and reviews I thought I might like this. I purchased a bottle blind from Amazon thinking it would be "ok" at best. Turns out, I absolutely love this perfume! It has quickly become one of my favorites and the one I wear the most often. (And it is EDP, unlike the description above which says Peace, Love, and Juicy Couture only comes in EDT in the larger sizes.) If you like the other offerings from Juicy Couture, you probably will hate this as a lot of people do from the ratings above. But I think that's because it's not marketed toward the population that like this kind of fragrance. It's not at all candy-sweet like their other perfumes. It's truly a green floral with a hint of something juicy (lemon and red apple) in the opening. When you wear it, you just smell clean and fresh. I have received compliments from family, friends, and strangers when I wear this. It's no longer listed on the Juicy Couture website so it has been discontinued, but there are plenty of brand new bottles still available on Amazon and eBay. I even found a 100ml bottle at Marshalls the other day. If you like green florals, you should definitely give it a try!

scarlett.angel

A great budget find for AU$20! I understand why most lovers of the other Juicy Couture flankers would hate this. Unlike the other JC, this is not sweet or girlie. Nothing fruity or juicy about it. In fact it smells like fresh cut grass and lemons. Very Green and Aromatic, which I happen to love, in a weird way! It's perfect scent for 35 degree, hot humid days when you just want to smell fresh without any annoying cloying sweetness. Love the bottle design too - Gorgeous!
Edit: As much as I enjoy this, unfortunately it disappears on me within 30 mins. I don't love it enough to bother respraying/decanting like some faint scents.

LeahJane1972

First spray is Green, big flowers, and citrus.

Next, the patchouli comes in for few minutes.

Then the drydown: delicate flowers with a slight sweet edge and earthy backdrop.

Conclusion: a beautiful juice.

Yudum

I dont know why people are saying its the worst scent. Its light fresh and pleasant. Not a sweet perfume that most people like and I think its the best in the juicy couture range in terms of smelling fresh.

pixiewinks

A favorite!! This is a spring day, laying on a blanket in a meadow, wearing organic cotton, with flowers in your hair reading a book.
This is so different then expected, yet I love it. I blind bought this recently for a good deal, and i have other juicy couture fragrances that i love so i figured I'd like this as well. I expected sweet and strong of course, and got grassy soap, but in a good grassy soap kind of way lol
It's light, it's fresh, earthy & floral, NOT GOURMAND like other Juicy..i'm still trying to get over the shock of the scent but I think I will love it even more in the spring.
If nothing else the bottle.... need I say more?
scent: 10
packaging: 10
update: easy go-to fragrance choice, it's so fresh and clean and natural and lovely and not overpowering or heady, i even frequently wear it to bed. I've decided to invest in the largest 3.4 oz size, i wear it so much

piahellgren

I don´t understand people, i really don´t- how can one hate this? This is an excellent fragrance that definitely has a kinship with Chanel´s Cristalle. It´s not sour in the least- it just does´t smell from cookies or marshmallows or caramel. This doesn´t smell so much like grass to me- I distinctly smell the top notes of apples, hyacint and lemon all through. It stays a LONG time on me and I love that. Linden blossom is also prominent and keeps the concoction from being all green- it adds sweetness albeit not cloying sweetness, but a bright one. I feel that the jasmin is there more to bind the other notes together and this isn´t the regular jasmin based fragrance, so Love Peace hasn´t made it "easy" for itself. I mean, how many jasmin dominant events are there already? I smell wet and sweet summer vegetables too- so maybe that is what many find to be grassy. To me it´s rather like fresh peas and carrots, actually! Sweet, but just naturally sweet. The patchouli is very tamed here and I also cannot detect the iris that much- but that is rather because it is well-blended. it´s definitely there. All together an original, fresh fragrance that one could have as a signature- it´s not like most current offers. 4 out of 5 stars (maybe in the great scheme of things I´d give it 3, but since it is so different nowadays I do give it 4!).

aztzura

I purchased this fragrance despite the bad reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. I really like this scent. It's a total departure from from the other Juicy fragrances (La La is another). I don't like the initial scent which is too grassy but it dries down quickly to a light floral scent probably the Hyacinth.

pretty mini collector

This perfume starts out very bright and floral, very sunshine and daisy wreaths. I love the opening! It's not your typical floral at all. And there's an undercurrent that is typical Juicy Couture.

But then it evolves into this very earthy, dank scent. That is not my cup of tea at all. It's not awful, but it is definitely not "me". When it gets to this stage, I feel a little betrayed.

I love it for the top notes, and dislike it for the drydown.

sphynx97

You ether hate or love this perfume.

It got a specific opening. Bright lemon with a grassy/floral blast.
Got a earthy smell to it during the whole time. The dirty maskuline Patchouli is just giving that natural smell to it.

And to be real with u. I am not a fan of this smell. To be exact I HATE IT.
This isn't a perfume to blind buy. If you do not know what you really like.
I have learn from experience that these kind of perfumes ether bore me or give me a headache and in this case makes me wanna gag.
I am a oriental lover. I do love florals I do. But this perfume gives me the feeling of alcohol based lemon smashed with moist dirt.

But I can see why some other love it. And I am just waiting to smell this perfume on someone that can give this perfume its fair chance to shine.

ZackJSullivan

I really love this fragrance, however, some of it's characteristics limit it in some ways.

The strongest note in the opening of the fragrance, as well as throughout the time you wear it is a heavy floral scent, which smells magnificent and surprisingly real-to-life! It is absolutely PERFECT for the spring and early to mid summer! That being said, this fragrance would be almost completely out of place in the fall and winter for me, it just wouldn't work.

I don't know why this was discontinued, it is honestly a really beautiful and unique fragrance that I will certainly get more of if I ever run out!

PastelMoon

I would say it is a truly green-pink scent. I find it to be very girly sweet and young, almost like sweet mint bubblegum (however much more less sweet, infantile and annoying than other JCs), yet, there is a stronger green, aromatic, fresh accord that makes this scent what it is.

I dislike basically all JC scents but this is a huge exception - I pretty much love this.

In a way, this reminds me of Parfum D'Ete by Kenzo and maybe Givenchy Only.

A fresh, green, sweet floral - crisp, young, free spirited, invigorating and even elegant, I completely don't get why this one needed to be discontinued...

Swetess

So... this one is special no doubt about that and it seems people either love or hate it. I initially got Peace, Love & Juicy Couture in a sample and when I tried it on for the first time I wasn't overwhelmed. It was a piercing lemony green scent that was just in your face. However after a little while this softness of lovely florals came through and I was absolutely amazed. I couldn't stop sniffing my wrist and just had to buy the real deal! Sadly the longevity of this one could be better. After about 30 - 60 min I can hardly notice it any more.

CPelly82

Absolutely beautiful. Just received this today on a blind buy and it's fabulous. Starts off strong but mellows out to a nice white floral fragrance. This should be in anyones perfume collection.

PS: I wore this to work today and it's fabulous. Great for anything your day may consist of and it lasts a very long time. This just became my signature fragrance.

kaejuntun

I bought a .5 oz of this for a song on a whim just to test it out and now I am wishing I had gotten a larger bottle! I am not really adding anything new that hasn't been said, but Peace, Love, and Juicy Couture is actually a wearable earthy fragrance. I get a lot of hyacinth at first, which I love. The first 10 minutes is lovely and airy feeling. Don't be afraid of the patchouli - it is actually very well behaved. Earthy and fresh, this is going to be a wonderful fragrance to wear this spring!

Eaugirlspirit

I really love this perfume. And I had been meaning to try it for such a long time. It is right up my alley with fresh florals- and a bit green.
You can really smell the lime blossom in the top notes, but don't let that bitterness deter you. It softens up quite a bit. It reminds me a little bit of Balenciaga L'Essence in the greenness running through the scent.
I can definitely smell the honeysuckle the most, apple and lemon fruits, but it is blended quite well so that you are left with an elegant floral drydown of jasmine. This perfume reminds me of being outside ! And it makes me feel clean and refreshed, and I haven't worn it for a day yet, but I think it will be nice and long-lasting. This is sophisticated and professional but also casual.

I know it's redundant to say because most of us always start like this, but I am shocked that this scent gets such bad reviews here! I received it today and I've been wearing it throughout the day and I LOVE IT. It's very fresh, clean, and wonderful smelling. From the way it was described here, I expected a patchouli bomb and to smell like I just mowed the lawn, but I don't get that at all. I get something marine, something fresh, and that signature Juicy Couture note. It's so wonderful and it's making me really happy for spring! Don't be scared of this perfume. It's not nearly as earthy as everyone claims.

I don't know what it is, but the fragrances that reviewers seem to dislike work on me. Why? I don't know, but they do. So, I really like this fragrance - starts out green, a juicy, sweet greenness, a grassiness, very pleasant. I also get the black currant bud..... it actually seems like there is something a little salty and warm and buttery underneath the green - it's really interesting. I'm surprised there isn't some vanilla or caramel or marine notes listed.... There is something sweet and tart in here too - I would guess apple. And the florals are fresh and understated. What can I say, it works on me, it smells great. I likes it :)

From all the reviews and by the looks of the notes, and the fact its the exact opposite of what i normally like i thought id hate this.

Suprisingly i really dont mind it! i got it really cheap and i get a grassy, earthy but pleasant smell with a hint of lemon.

Quite happy my chemistry works with this one! It wont be worn every day or all too often but its really nice for every now and then!

I purchased this last spring as a blind buy from Marshall's for cheap. I opened it and gave it a spray and it was green grass and skunk.

I was very disappointed.

A couple days later, I figured I would try it again,I put it on and wore it all day. Still green grass and skunk--but I kinda liked it.

Spring time, working in the yard all day, digging up that fresh earth kind of smell. Green grass and skunk on the back of my neck and on my wrists, good stuff.

My love, Peace Love & Juicy Couture. I bought a rollerball first that I loved. I said I should buy a bottle for sure. When I did it, I thought it was a bad decision. When I asked my mother to tell her opinion, Peace Love & Juicy Couture VS Couture La La she said PL&LJ: hmm no, it smells like an onion haha and for CLL: You must have had this before, it almost doesn't smell at all. When I bought and started to use the bottle, that green, floral, musky mix became a bit 'dirty'. Straight to the bone. Some skins will find it as a unique perfume/smell! Don't laugh but for me it smells like a child playing in the grass and mud, with some green/floral soft tones. The bottle is amazing. 7/10 and remember, not anyone could cope with the chemistry of Peace Love & Juicy Couture!

3 words: fresh, green and earthy. I love it. no surprise that this genius perfume was discontinued. how can it compete with the walking circus of caramel and cotton candy that is Viva la Juicy? I am trying to make my bottle last but when it's gone I'll be one sad girl.

The only word I could ever think of to sum up this fragrance is FRESH. This has to be one of my favorite, if not my all time favorite fragrance. Personally I get a lot of the lavender and honeysuckle notes. Smells so fresh and clean and my favorite perfume to spray on after the shower.

This edp is perfect for everyday casual events like school or work, I wear it every day. I'm already on my 3rd 100ml bottle, can't get enough of this stuff! Definitely recommend this scent.

Not a fan of the fragrance at all, love the bottle though.

Surprise in a bottle. First spray I didnt even like, then after 20-30 minutes a lovely fragrance develops. This flowery trip continues for many hours if you ask me, and ends in the magic candy apple forest. Yummy! But do not wear this one on your clothes, only on your skin or it will smell only of cut grass.

I just LOVE this scent--and most of the Juicy stuff leaves me cold, so color me surprised! To me it smells almost exactly like Bobbi Brown's first scent, Bobbi--which always made me think of Chanel's Cristalle. Fresh, green, clean and it lasts very well on me. There is Jasmine in the heart, which explains a lot, and if there is patchouli--(could you create a scent called "Peace and Love" and leave THAT note out? I think not!)-it doesn't clobber you over the head! I have found this scent WAAAAY marked down at TJ Maxx, which is why I tried it--but it's now one of my new favorites! (Got the EDP roller for $10 and the one ounce spray for $15 and a gift set with a 1 oz spray, shower gel and lotion for $20!)I also love the bottle and the fact that it comes wearing love beads! As an aging 60's hippie, this stuff really speaks to me! Peace out!

I dislike this fragrance. It's not as complex as the notes suggest, rather it's just very imbalanced.

I love earthy green fragrances, but this smells like some strong, unidentifiable really fragrant green leaves (almost like pine, but not as pleasant) were crushed and pressed until the offensive, acrid oil appears. This is all I get on my skin for the few minutes. Then a weird, almost synthetic fruit smell develops, and it develops into smell similar to all natural bathroom cleaner spray.

The cherry on top is that despite how biting this fragrance is on my skin, it fades ridiculously fast, within an hour or two! An easy pass for me.

Nothing like I expected, it's a lot more grown-up than the label suggests. I was pretty sure lily of the valley was in here but apparently not, although it has that vibe,l.o.v with patchouli. It's not super complex, it smell okay, clean, but it's not really anything enough for me. If I want this kind of perfume I would wear Private Collection, this is like the teenage grandchild of Private Collection.

I like my scents to be more out there, brighter, heavier, sweeter, darker, just MORE...

It smells a little like a blonde college girl, playing at travelling and slumming it but still all squeaky clean.

Juice aside, I really really like this bottle!

ArtzGirl

What better name for a perfume? I love this name, I want to like it! With a name like this, I would expect it to smell more like Eau du Ciel - or perhaps Fracas... something really sweet.

I could see someone who is really earthy, outdoorsy, with a maverick fashion style liking this fragrance. I could see this also with someone who wears clothing that looks like it is kind of preppy - with tweeds and textures that would go with a heather field of flowers. A celtic landscape.

This is fresh and green and a bit soapy, like some men's colognes. For this reason, I think that it could be worn as a men's cologne or unisex.

It is clean, but a bit brisk... like taking a walk through the woods after the rain. This is almost like a combination of My Insolence and a light whiff of Pine Sol. Again, it could just be my fickle chemistry, but this is not setting up on my skin in a way that would drive me to purchase this.

I'm sampling this one now - and this is odd for me, because I'm really not coming up with any descriptive terms to use for this fragrance. It is green...most definitely, but the first time that I smelled this -- it is just a bit "meh" on me... not anything that is really reaching out and grabbing me - and not completely repulsive where I'm wanting to wash it off.

About 20 minutes into the wear of this: there is a sweet uplifting note in this that is appealing and draws me in - a bit, but this is not making a major statement of any kind. For this reason, this may be a good choice to wear to the office or a crowded theater type performance. This is unobtrusive... tolerable. It has a note in it which is quite similar to Annick Goutal's Eau du Hadrian... a note with something green/earthy -- but the overall fragrance is a bit different than Eau du Hadrian.

This is not mixing with my chemistry well. I feel that you should try this, it may be just your "thing", but with my chemistry, this is not moving in the direction of "Wow".

pamela091083

in my skin the smell dominated much mild spices and wood, is very strong for my style.

perfumeglam87

smells like a pine tree and mens cologne....ladies stay away

This is a fresh soapy green floral perfume that I find indistinguishable from other fresh soapy green floral perfumes out there. At least it deviates from the other Juicy Couture scents and I quite like the bottle. It's been 6 hours, and I can still smell it, though fading rapidly now.
