Fresh Couture by Moschino is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women. Fresh Couture was launched in 2015. The nose behind this fragrance is Alberto Morillas. Top notes are Bergamot, Mandarin Orange and Ylang-Ylang; middle notes are Peony, Raspberry and Osmanthus; base notes are Ambroxan, Woodsy Notes and Patchouli.

The second fragrance by Moschino under the creative director Jeremy Scott (the first one being Toy from 2014) comes out in October 2015 under the name Moschino Fresh Couture, inspired by the spring 2016 fashion collection.

“The concept for this fragrance was to juxtapose the most mundane and commonplace of all products, the household cleaner, with something so precious - the juice of a luxury brand’s fragrance. Taking the iconography of a bottle that has no aspirational value and using it as the inspiration for a vessel to contain something so luxurious and haute couture, creates the ultimate dichotomy of high and low. What could be more Moschino than that?”

A surprising and ironic product, Fresh Couture fragrance plays with fresh and joyful accents. Its sparkling top notes of mandarin and bergamot are enriched with exotic ylang-ylang. Juicy raspberry provides contrast to the floral heart of velvety white peony and osmanthus. The base underscores refined and modern character of the perfume with accords of clear woods, white patchouli and ambrox.

The face of the campaign shot by Steven Meisel is a supermodel Linda Evangelista. The fun and ironic bottle is designed in the form of a cleaning product. It is housed in an elegant coffret made of fine materials , including a touch of golden detailing. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

Not my type of scent. Stronger than i expected, truly unisex. Not a clean scent, i would not wear this ever.

bluebird65

Meh. I don’t hate it. I don’t love. I almost never wear it. I get very little citrus. To me, it’s straight peony. It’s fresh. Not super complex. If you like light florals, you might like it. Honestly, it was the bottle that drew me in. Love it on my shelf, but will probably sell or trade to make more room for scents I love.

ShazzaBella16

If you liked D&G Devotion then you’ll love anything Moschino, since apparently they’re supposed to smell clean and sweet. This perfume was the first one I’ve ever smelled in this line and it was hugely overrated. I cannot express into words how much I hate this house.

All of the scents are screechy, metallic, wet smelling dirt to me. It makes me physically sick to my stomach and I have had to scrub it off immediately. It’s headache inducing and pungent.

All I get from this one in particular is off lemon chemical cleaner with a metallic screech. Would not recommend to anyone -100/10. Do not blind buy off reviews.

patqb

bro took eau de toilette a bit too seriously...

Unmodernize

Genius as usual, love this.

olliebda

It smells to fresh, more like Windex than a fragrance in my opinion.

wondervalley666

A very well done citrus floral freshie. Clean and soapy vibes with a heavy dose of lemon-the citrus/bergamot here smells very much like lemon on my skin. A nice soft peony to keep it fresh and classy. A bit of woods and musky patchouli in the base, but I’d say this scent is reading citrus floral to me the most. I can’t pick out the patchouli or woods, I only know they’re in there because I’m searching for them. It isn’t the most original scent but it is quality, and the sharper notes are smoothed nicely. Not my typical scent profile but I feel like this is a type of scent I smell on people all the time, every day. Citrus is a bit stronger than my chemistry prefers. It does make me think of certain cleaning sprays in that way. Overall reminds me of perfumes like Bright Crystal, but this is much smoother and less hairspray-screechy than BC. Overall I’d say if you like this scent, go for it, because it’s a much better blend than similar other fragrances and seems less likely to induce headaches or be obnoxious that it’s competitors. However, it isn’t a terribly unique or stand out fragrance, so it may not offer much appeal to big perfume fans with large collections and niche tastes. The bottle is funny, it definitely made this scent stand out among the crowd for years. I only remembered this fragrance because of the bottle. I eventually got a mini spray to test. I personally wouldn’t buy this because I already own too many perfumes and this isn’t my typical type of scent, but I’d rather smell this on others than most of the drugstore freshies and y2k era party girl aquatics that people always seem to bathe in before going to shop in a tiny store where they choke me out.

I don’t think this has the most amazing performance. Seems to have dried WAY down in just a couple hrs to a skin scent.

Eveoairo

A very inoffensive and clean, musky, citrus scent; without being too overpowering with the citrus itself. The longevity could be better though, as it only lasts about an hour on me before softly fading away. Wish they had an edp version for longer wear.

Aein

It is indeed very “fresh”, but also extremely boring. The bottle is both clever and tacky, so I get both the love and the hate it receives.

I’m using it on very high temperatures right now and It’s very plain. I guess that if you like clean fragrances you may enjoy it, but I like scents with a little more personality. This is just too inoffensive.

Lhvoyles94

All I smell is the stench of patchouli. I will admit I am a huge patchouli hater (it literally smells like mold to me), but I think patchouli in this scent may be off-putting to those who don’t mind it, due to the fact that it just doesn’t blend in with the fragrance at all. It sticks out like a sore thumb, as they say.

kruk666

I love it so much, I wish it had a stronger sillage because I want everyone to know I am wearing fresh couture. it smells so fresh and clean, very unisex imo. my bottle is sadly almost empty but I wish to purchase more.

Lauren_Trouble

I'll be honest, the best thing about this fragrance is the packaging lol. The scent itself is VERY inoffensive, borderline boring. Fresh citrus & peony which dries down to a woodsy musk. Longevity & projection aren't great.

claralau

Very fun perfume, my friends find the bottle hilarious but I’ve been complimented on the scent quite a bit! Living in a hotter area means sometimes perfumes can’t handle the heat but this one both stays and radiates quite well, especially for the price point. Suuuper fresh scent, as the name suggests, though in a way that screams more “feeling energized” than “I just hoped out of the shower”; also very citrusy without being harsh. Definitely more unisex than purely feminine in my opinion.

Ground hound

Fresh, zesty, clean scent with a sweet floral finish.
Very likeable, happy, clean, crowd-pleasing, inoffensive, and feminine.
If you like "Perfect" by Marc Jacobs, or "Cheap and Chic" by Moschino, you will most likely enjoy this.
I have absolutely NO idea why its rating is so low.

Nareehs

My absolute most complimented fragrance of all time. I know it's controversial and most people find it smells like straight up lemon or household cleaner.

On my skin it doesn't smell like lemon at all. A bit citrusy in the opening but I can really get the peony in the dry down and the ambroxan definitely does its job bringing all the notes together and giving it a very unique, almost sweet profile for me.

Great sillage, decent lasting power of about 6 hours. I get asked what I'm wearing every single time I spray this on and have gone through many bottles of it. Maybe not for everyone because of the citrus notes but for a fresh, clean fragrance this one really gets past the 'soapy' or 'just showered' rep these type of fragrances tend to get in general.

My spring and summer staple for sure.

Gabsp28

I'm still undecided on this, bought it because I like the notes, and the bottle of course. When I first spray it all I get is alcohol, but dries down to a fresh, soapy scent. Very fresh, a bit of sweetness coming through. Very citrus, which I thought I liked, but turns out not so much. Still fun to wear, great for a hot day, not over bearing.

V_rose29

I smelt this fragrance on a man recently he smelt really clean and fresh he told me it was this I was taken by surprise it smelt that good so I brought a bottle. It’s a clean fresh citrus with little sweetness I definitely think this is unisex, I’ve worn this twice to work since I brought it got couple compliments and it lasted pretty well.

Eau de Cola

Citrus! That is literally all I get, a sharp assault on the nostrils of everything citrus. I bought a sample before looking at the notes, and I guess I thought it would be a soapy/shampoo type smell, which I tend to like but I had it wrong. I don't agree personally that it smells like the bottle - it just smells generic, tangy and OTT. It's done one thing for me though, it's confirmed I'm not into citrus scents! lol I've given the sample to my fiancee as it's definitely unisex, and he likes it.

pilardavg

Love it or hate it. It can be tacky but it’s perfect to spray during hot days, it’s refreshing and clean. Otherwise, it is a pretty basic citrus scent, the bottle is part of the whole package. I love it.

Peaches&Cream

Smells very fresh and citrusy. It lasts quite long, I sprayed this on before bed and woke up to smelling it. Men can also wear this, I don’t get any florals and it is not fruity on me. Great for hot summer days, can cause headaches especially if citrus is not your go to.

baguettes

tried this scent on myself at the store and closely followed the top, middle and base notes throughout the day

its very strange, i usually really like fresh citrus scents but something about this perfume doesnt merge well with my chemistry. to be fair it didnt smell that attractive in the bottle either. cant put my finger on why exactly.

boffin1979

Can men wear this?

Cristina S.

I really like this!
I don’t agree with who says it smells like Windex in the opening. I think at first it smells citrusy and a bit sweet, it reminds me of Omnia Crystalline by Bulgari. Then it mainly smells powdery and of peony, with a hint of sweetness (maybe the raspberry?). It is a bit soapy but in a very good way. I would say it is clean as in the clean smell of a very nice bar of soap. Also, don’t be afraid, it doesn’t smell like an old lady’s perfume.

kawaiimau5

I wore this fragrance for the first time today at work. I absolutely love it! It’s a soapy, clean scent that anyone can wear. Although at the end of my work day, the sillage wore off, I could still smell it on myself. Definitely good for people who love clean scents, no matter what gender you are.

IsaBreeza

At first the citrus is very penetrative but it dries down beautifuly. It dries down like sharp citrus, with a little bit of flower sweetness, might be too overwhelming for some people. It's giving fresh out of the shower. Great for sunny, sweaty days. I don't like to be sitting in my own cloud of flowery sweetness while there's a heatweave going on: to me that's the perfect recipe for a headache. Not a lot of people 'love' this scent... and if you're one of them I highly reccomend you put it away and try again at summertime. The performance is not great tho, not bad either. But I take it with me wherever I go.

kiaoi

Soapy and clean scent, an easy everyday scent. To those who say this feels like a glass cleaner, I wish my Windex smelled like this, I don’t see it at all. Definitively great for the office and for those who want to wear a perfume that says “clean” (and not clean glass). An easy wear, a fun present for a teen, from a renowned Italian designer brand.

gourmand_girlie

I kid you not, the opening smells just like Windex or any other zingy household cleaning solution: strong chemicals and all.

The dry down comes quickly, and is a very generic, unisex, bergamot-musky scent.

This was too synthetic for my taste.

smolerin

Yes it smells how it looks (not in a bad way depending on your nose) I got it for the bottle but probably won't repurchase because I prefer other fresh perfumes.

Lydiaclareee

A very simple aquatic fragrance. In offensive and smells just like the bottle! Perfect for very hot days and lasts well for an edt

canabena

Really nice clean, classy slightly sexy fragrance, I like to wear this to the office. Its giving pencil skirt and stilettos.I bought it for the bottle I thought it was really interesting but ended up pleasantly surprised by how much I like it. Definitely more floral forward but I do get the citrus upon dry down. For an eau de toilette the silage is fantastic It lasts as long as an eau de parfum in my books.Worth the price on the discount fragrance websites I wouldn't pay full price for this however just because the bottle is gimmicky which I know thats the reason I got it but Im a kid at heart I wouldn't suggest a grown woman to just get up and buy a windex perfume bottle lol but all in all lovely fragrance despite the appearance and to the other comments about it smelling like cleaning supplies it really doesnt its a clean scent but not soapy by any means.

hollyoaks321

mmm this smells so fresh and clean and uplifting. One of my fave clean scents to feel fresh!

Hunnynpink

Fresh raspberries and bergamot, slightly floral

iLikeSmellingGood

My coworker wore this today. It was very refreshing to smell in the air. Reminded me of petitgrain, but what I was smelling must’ve been the ylang-ylang. At times it really did smell like window cleaner, but in the best way. The sillage was great, I could smell it even after she had left for the day. Big like from me for summer days!

EgyptianMusk89

The cleaner bottle is not ironic. This is exactly what it smells like.

defneg

I'm gonna be honest, this review might be a rather biased one because this is one of my best-friend's signature fragrance. I'm still gonna talk about it though.

I think this scent is really energetic and fresh. I love to smell it, it smells very clean. I would not personally purchase it myself but someone who is into fruity, citrusy and fresh scents will love this one I believe. I also find it to be surprisingly long lasting. I don't think I need to mention how cool the bottle is. 6.5/10

Lixa

I find the so called "ironic" bottle so hideous and stupid/uncreative, I wouldn't dream to even test the scent, let alone buy it. It's in very poor taste, sorry. Good thing they didn't put it in a toilet shaped bottle, it's eau de toilette, right? Hardy har har.

qofb

Let's be honest, I bought this because of the bottle... I really like peony so I hoped for something I'd like and yes, I like it.

It's a watery, citrussy and musky light floral to begin, uplifting and fresh, I really like the opening. The raspberry and peony are light and watery, but definitely come through in the later stages along with the woody ambroxan base. It's a bit like a cloud with the musky, almost soapy ambroxan creating a powdery warm, slightly woody peony close to the skin. This may be a skin scent but it definitely hangs around, 8 hours on, it is noticeable. I do have to get really close up to smell anything after less than an hour though, even with 8 sprays.

I like it, it's simple, an easy spring summer reach, but it's not something I would repurchase. If you want projection, this isn't where it's at.

fformoso88

This is a nice freshie fragrance and the bottle is so cute and unique. Classic Moschino. The juice is very fresh and floral. Very clean smelling. Non offensive. Perfect for spring and summer. It’s an easy grab when you want a no fuss clean fragrance. Nothing that special about the juice it’s familiar smelling enough. But if you want a easy grab, happy, clean , standard fragrance this is it. I don’t know why this gets hated on. It’s pretty good for a fresh scent. I remember when this first came out I wanted it so bad because the bottle is ridiculous and fun and it was moschino and I’m a fan of Jeremy Scott. Overall not a bad fragrance. Nothing groundbreaking but the bottle and concept are cute and fun!

Mandie2786

Such a fun Summer scent! When this came out I was immediately drawn to the funky bottle and I needed to have it, I didn’t care If it was a fragrance flop. Good thing it was the complete opposite! It’s a fun fragrance, the citrus and floral notes are very prominent in the beginning, I did smell the peonies and the musky dry down. Overall I love it! I also get compliments when I wear this.

Zesti101

This bottle looks like a window cleaner. I don't care how good it smells. It will never be in my fragrance collection.

iconoclast

The bottle is the coolest thing about it

washudtoj

I would love to try this scent but I just can't stand the bottle.

I know bottle designs sholdn't matter, and mostly I stand by that philosophy. However, this one is testing my limits... and I doubt I can justify paying more than $10 for it.

Edit: I did get to try the scent the other day in the department store. It smells nice (much nicer than the bottle design implies), but still nothing to write home about. It's thus an easy skip for me.

karlikarli

Fresh, citrusy with a touch of floral. The bottle is beautiful and unique, the scent is not so unique. It smells good but you have probably smelled something similar. The fragrance does not last on me, very very weak lasts about 30 mins for me. I remember getting a sample of this from Sephora when I was in high school and thinking it was the best thing I have ever smelled; I definitely do not think that anymore. This fragrance is great for someone who is in middle school or high school.

OtherwiseGreen

Ylang ylang in a bottle with a touch of mandarin and peony. It’s a fresh floral as the label says, a lovely scent, it just doesn’t have a strong personality. But then again, if you need to feel good today, this pretty nondescript floral will give you that happiness boost no questions asked and you’ll still be able to smell it by evening.

kollaps717

Extremely synthetic citrusy fragrance, which completely matches the theme of its packaging. Morrison’s glass and window cleaner smells very similar to Moschino Fresh Couture, which makes sense as cleaning products often citrus scented.
Overall nothing remarkable. It is a very inoffensive fragrance for daily use. It opens up absolutely the same, regardless of weather, so if you want consistency, here you have it. I have 100 ml bottle and I am already bored of it.
If you want it only because if packaging, get 30ml. It still looks as cute as a bigger bottle and allows you not to get tired of it. I doubt many people would repurchase this because of an actual scent.

Sassy McNuggets

This bottle is ridiculous, I love it. Classic Moschino: take something ordinary, elevate it, and create something fun and approachable. The scent is just as unique and fun as it's package. The ylang ylang is the star of the show, giving you this not-too-sharp brightness. The raspberry and peony are more identifiable as you wear it. It's vibrant and youthful, a great choice for summer.

Eribert

To me, Fresh Couture had three clearly distict stages.

The first one, which lasted a little longer than an hour, consists of core of this is a synthetic-yet-pleasant yellow flower, ylang ylang, that is spiked with some unidentifiable freshness that actually had some far similarity with windex. This phase was the fragrance's strongest point: transparent, sunny, somehow different. I really liked that.

In the second stage, which lasted aroud 3-4 hours, the fragrance starts to lean in a warmer direction. While the peony-raspberry combo was apparent, I did not manage to identify the osmanthus as what it was. Here, the fragrance is mostly a sultry fruity floral that really screams "summertime!" without using any tropical clichés.

During its final few hours, Fresh Couture calms down considerably. To me, it smells somewhat watery (probably the ambroxan) and subdued. I could not smell considerable earthy or woodsy notes, just a nondescript, although not unpleasant watery smell. While I appreciated the radical change and the refreshing absence of vanilla, I found this stage of the fragrance a bit boring.

As for my verdict, I think that Fresh Couture is a nice, reasonably versatile medium-light summer scent. It clearly targets women and is best worn by younger people, maybe until around 40.

Qualitywise, to me this is only an "okay" fragrance. Not because I don't like the notes or their combinations - I enjoyed all that. My problem with Fresh Couture is that the ingredients smell rather low-quality, drug-store-y and artificial. I would love to purchase a similar fragrance with nicer ingredients. However, despite this core issue, what won me over was the bold design of the bottle and the way this and the top notes of the fragrance play together. This is some awesome concept.

In terms of whether I would recommend Fresh Couture, I would give a weak yes. Buy it, if you want an uncomplicated, fairly interesting summer scent - but only if you are not too offended by some quality issues with the ingredients. Buy it, if you want a great concept fragrance at a low price-point. Don't buy it if you need something to impress others at a formal, semi-formal or business setting. Fresh Couture is a fun fragrance with a good dash of creativity. But it's not a designer dress.

TL;DR: creative & fun tryptich, too drugstorey for formal settings.

LMBelvi

I was excited when a friend gave me her sample. That tiny version of the real bottle was so damn cute I wanted to love it. Should have know... just too floral for me. Immediately. If you are a flower-avoider like I often am, steer clear.

nelliebabes

Fresh, a lil juicy, airy-- I had fun tearing through this bottle! Plus the packaging is unusual and fun! I'd spray this in my hair and it would morph into the most gorgeous scent throughout the week!

Tomadeupjazz

I keep gravitating towards fragrances like this. And I mean that in the best way possible. This reminds me a lot of Versace Eros Pour Femme eau de toilette, and Dolce and Gabanna Love is Love, both of which have very similar notes to this one and I own both as well. The citrus and raspberry notes are the most prominent to me, I never really get a whole lot of wood from either of them but I know it's there to keep the fragrance slightly grounded as well as that ambroxan. I was always scared of "fresh" fragrances because I HATE smelling like soapy, baby powdery scents or super outdoorsy green plant life earthy even floral powdery fresh scents, and that's immediately what my mind would always go to whenever I would hear a youtuber say "this is soooo fresh" . But its NOT fresh, I would say this is sooo crisp, and citrusy because that's exactly what it is, this reminds me of brunch and citrus mimosas and fizzy drinks. They aren't fizzy smelling like champagne but that's what I think about. I love wearing this scent when I want to be easy going and smell light airy and zesty. I love it and it's what I want in a "fresh" scent. DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE BOTTLE!! Creativity at it's best. Conversation starter, very unique and I think classy. I am a packaging heavy person and things like this will get me every time. I don't care to have my vanity looking like a damn victorian center piece or something. I want fun, interesting, colorful and full of life to get others talking and interested. This perfume bottle IS THAT!! Love seeing it in my collection. I'm obsessed with the juice and the container it comes in. Will continuously repurchase and it was A SUPER GOOD DEAL. About $30 for a 100ml. Lasts VERY decent on clothes and skin for an eau de toilette. About 5 hours on skin, and that's just until I can't smell it anymore, I'm pretty sure others still can. Gotta test more. I love this though. It isn't room filling beast mode but will be smelled from a short distance or when a wind is created in passing.

failedutopia

Peony. Just peony. Pretty, linear, clean, and floral. Doesn't last very long on the skin. I think people saying this smells like household cleaner are falling victim to the power of suggestion - it smells a lot like Bath & Body Works 'Perfect Peony,' hardly edgy. A little sweeter than that one, with a slight spicy/waxy/citrus overtone.
Let's be honest, the only reason anyone buys this is because the bottle is fun/cute. No shame in that. But the juice isn't nearly as off the wall as the bottle.

tryhardcomplex

It smells very clean and fresh, a light scent that's great for right after the shower because it makes me feel clean. I wish it would last longer because on me it barely lasts 30 mins.

lemonsandroses

Starts out smelling exactly like a household cleaner turned perfume - lemony, woodsy. Quickly settles into something more floral, aquatic, and soapy. Like a floral citrus bath bomb in a steamy bathroom? Maybe just laundry detergent? Kind of nondescript. Hardly any sillage or lasting power, I really forget that I am wearing it. I wish the opening notes lasted longer, I like them better.

mscaseymarie

I have a 4-piece miniature coffret set that comes with 5 ml bottles of Fresh Couture, Gold Fresh Couture, Toy 2, and Boy Toy. Out the 4, this one is my favorite and the only one of which I would consider purchasing a full size. A clean, fruity floral like the others, but I find this to be the best balance. Still not anything unique or memorable. I find Moschino's packaging a little tacky, but Fresh Couture is fun since it actually looks like Windex. Worth smelling if you are into uncomplicated, fresh, "just go out of the shower" type of scents.

MBK

It's amazing for the cold weather, it smells like something clean and pleasant. I only wear it when it's cool outside. Also I only wear it on clothes, cause it smells too sweet, floral and cheap on the body...
But in summer it is disgusting!!! Smells soooo cheap and so typical. Nothing clean and fresh only cheap floral notes and disgusting sweet citruses.
But i love it in cool weather :)

grapefruit352

I probably would buy this fragrance, but there is a danger, that my husband accidentally could use it as a glass cleaner:)). A bit too pricey for the glass cleaning:))
A brilliant idea for the gift although, it looks so good as a present for a delicate lady...Imagine..she is opening the beautiful golden glittering gift paper..with a big smile on her face..she is unpacking it totally and taking to her hands..THAT..somehow her smile immediately disappears.. her day is ruined.. :)

MagdalenaM

i tried to smell this but i honest to god could not concentrate on the scent because of the bottle, can you imagine getting this out of your purse and spraying it on lmao too funky

PinkRainbow

A rainbow collage of almost every kind of fragrance note makes this one stand out as one of a kind. Fresh and sweet with just the right amount of silage. Longevity is good. This scent deserves an award alone for the unique bottle which shows a great touch of humor.

kiraagold

This might be the cutest mini bottle ever. And the scent is a nice little perk-me-up at a great price.

The clementine opening, bright with peony, is clean and fun and young. Sweet berry florals ripen a handspan off the skin for an hour, and fade to wet woods for another two.

(I'm all for some lighthearted vibes right now.)

diamondbottles

Smelled this in the store. I was very curious after all the positive reviews.

It smelled generic, like nothing, just some vague cheap perfume smell. Would not spend a penny on this.

This does not smell fresh or 'clean', 'out of the shower' or citrus to me. It was a dissapointment to find out it just smelled like a cheap 1 dollar perfume. Will definitely not buy. Liked the bottle, thought it was cute, but unfortunately the scent is not for me. I was especially looking for a fresh soapy scent and this perfume was supposed to be all of that, but alas, it's not the one for me.

peonies and musk

I grew up with honeysuckle vines and would pick the blooms and drink the nectar as a kid, and the first spray of this smells identical to a real-life honeysuckle bush

EnergeticCrab

You've smelled this before, but now in a fun bottle. Whatever.

Sebastiana

It is completely L'eau d'Issey + Acqua di Gio and nothing more. Very early 90s. An old style marine scent with the floral notes of Issey. I suppose it attraction is mainly the novel bottle, since either of the 2 fragrances that it blatantly copies is available much cheaper! It would have been fun if there was a hint of Windex in this scent, but given the long existence of its 90s formula, it is truly nothing special now. It's all about the bottle.

milan.alleman

Very soft and good smelling.
A fantastic fun bottle, but the smell disappears after a hour. Get the gold fresh eau de parfum version or toy2/toyboy. They last much longer and smell as nice.

cookygirl

My daughters and I are ordered this one last month to mitigate the monotony of lockdown.
All three of us were sort of familiar with the scent so it was only a semi-blind buy.I had sampled it when it first came out and they had recently smelled it on others. We all knew we pretty much liked it, and, most importantly - it was on sale.
It resides now in my younger daughter's room so I can use and enjoy the scent without having to endure the bottle on my dressing table:I appreciate it's irony but the zany aesthetic does not appeal to me.
I actually like the fragrance very much though and I'm enjoying it.
It's light and fruity - the kind of fruity that you can almost taste. My favorite part is the citrusy opening.
The only thing is that I recently also acquired Versace's Eros (edt) and this smells very similar. More accurately - it smells like a cross between the Eros edp and edt. If I had realized how similar Fresh Couture is to Eros I would have gone for something else, especially because it's longevity is not great.

Edit - I ended up reaching for this one quite often throughout the summer and I think I like it even more than the Eros edt. It's a tad less sweet and somewhat fresher. I'm really loving it.

Victorchachi

Would hate for a woman to wear this. I smelled it and hated it. It does smell like cleaning product, and a really nauseating one. Extremely sweet to the point that I felt I was smelling some cheap candy, and really REALLY strong projection.

This thing would not go off after washing my arm. This is something I've definitely smelled somewhere, like a supermarket or something.

And that bottle? I'd only ever think about purchasing this for the novelty factor, but that's about it.

3/10.

raiza1990

The opening does indeed smell like a cleaning product. Later i get nice, fresh floral notes. This stage is pleasant, but overall it’s a generic fragrance. The bottle is fun, but that is it.

So Bella Van de Weerd of Fragrantica/Dutch had Moschino/Moschino as her favorite "cheapie" in a best of 2020 roundup. Loved her description, loved that bottle with the Italian scarf, then I see it in Marshall's the next day...thought my wife sbould have it for Valentine's Day. Well, I ignored the box details in the article - my bad - and my wife ended up with the Windex bottle. But it's all good! Fresh Couture will work nicely for her, and I know this because I spent a grip on Mon Paris Couture for her last year and she has truly enjoyed it. We just sprayed them next to each other, and while I'm certainly not a "nose" of any renown, there is a similar vibe. YSL has the stronger fruit (Raspberry), Moschino the stronger floral (Peony). Fresh, clean, Garnier Fructis-like, just very nice on days when the sun is shining brightly.

I still wanna get my wife that original Moschino EDT, though.

I’ve heard this could be unisex and the note breakdown was right up my alley so I had to try it. I have no problem as a man wearing women fragrances.. and since I prefer fruity clean and fresh scents this was really appealing to me. One of my all time favorites (for me to wear and smell on a woman) is D&G light blue for women. This isn’t exactly that (until the dry down) but it does transition and evolve quite a bit through its life.

It opens citrusy and bright.. quickly losing the main citrus accord on my skin (it does retain some citrus on me) and evolving into peony. Lots of peony. Not my favorite floral note for my skin, but not my least favorite. I am not a fan of floral men’s fragrances, but I do enjoy this scent. It reminds me of coach poppy, and as it dries down I get more fruits.. it becomes more fresh.. and less floral. That’s great for me. Unfortunately I don’t get much raspberry, which is one of the reasons I was so interested in it. The raspberry is more of a supporting role or “filler” to bridge the floral notes and citrus imo. Very faint but nice.

I would say it can be unisex leaning feminine because of the peony. The late stages also have a hint of Versace man eau Fraiche, but still a bit of florals. It is very similar to Light Blue at the very late stages. It’s just sweeter and more fruity to my nose. Amazing. Definitely out of the shower fresh/sweet (think fruity/floral body wash or shampoo) not too sterile or clean. I can definitely see myself reaching for this in the summer, white tee and jeans or shorts. It’s white, pink, and a little green with a little blue in there as well.

For the the guys like me out there thinking about pulling the trigger beware.. there is peony. Probably the strongest accord to my nose. I will say it’s not super synthetic and it is very nice, but it is floral. That is until the dry down. I love, I mean love, the dry down. It’s a “situational” juice, not a dumb reach. Casual, spring summer, day to night leaning day. I love the bottle btw. One of the coolest in my collection. So dang cool. It’s a good addition for you guys that don’t always need to smell like a leather jacket, a pipe, or a freshly sawed tree. Overall.. great juice.

Edit: If this opened with it’s late dry down and stayed linear it would be my 2nd sig scent. Better than light blue, Ferrari light essence, and a lot of others in my collection. I’m hooked.. just gotta wait a few hours. Oh well.

ssailorrnep

Smells like what it is supposed to. Fresh, fragant, lemony with orange hints and a musky fresh scent. I love the design idea, very moschino. Every person who complains about the design clearly does not understand the artistic vision that Jeremy Scott has.

Smells like you just stepped out of an expensive shower. Does not have a heavy scent as some would call a "grandma" perfume. It is light and airy, I think that all age groups could enjoy this perfume.

It is not a "Sexy" perfume if you will. It does not have the traditional vanilla and bourbon tones. It is definitely a summer/spring day-time perfume.

The bottle is absolutely stunning (made out of glass) Definitely a collector's dream.

It does not smell like soap or body wash like "clean" would sound like. It is very unique.

Absolutely gorgeous composition 10/10

This was one of my free sample options from a recent online check-out at Sephora, so I went with it. I have to admit I thought this was more gender-neutral from the bottle, but it's much more femme than anything I normally wear. I don't get citrus at all on my skin—nor does it smell "clean." Nor is it very fruity. It's peony and ylang-ylang and really cloying floral bouquets. It reminds me of being a kid and smelling stale old lady perfume samples glued into my mother's beauty magazines. The sillage and longevity are strong, but this isn't a scent I would prefer to broadcast. But also, admittedly, it's very far from the types of scents I wear. The only thing I will say is I LOVE the campy Windex-inspired bottle. But the scent itself is unmemorable and smells cheap and dated.

AnitaHendricks

This perfume smells very clean! It goes well with the notable bottle. I love the idea and it made me curious to try it! I normally hate the scent of peony. For some reason I don't mind it that much in this perfume. It's a nice, casual blend to wear during the spring or summer!

genny17

Oh goodness, this is one of Morillas typical light fruity creation, in an ugly bottle( my opinion) ..it isn't anything groundbreaking, I got a sample, it didn't distinguish itself from lots other fruity scents out there..very forgettable, and sorry but whoever thought of the bottle isnt really thinking about what perfumes are supposed to bring to mind...but some will like it, matter of taste..the bottle distracts from the plain smell I suppose..
not for me, and not one I would gift to anyone..

jenbarker99

I smelled this on a coworker, fell in love with it, and immediately added it to my queue. Unfortunately it doesn't work on me at all. Fresh Couture reminds me of the stale cheap patchouli cloud that assaults my nose when I walk into a discount perfume shop, or lingering base notes remaining on an old magazine perfume sample (remember those?), or maybe the irritating soapy scent a generic hotel shower gel might leave on my skin. Regardless, I get none of the fresh top or middle notes listed, not even in the initial spray. No flowers, no fruit, no freshness, and no sweetness. On me this is straight patchouli and musk (which isn't listed as a note) with no change whatsoever from spray to drydown. The patchouli is so prevalent I can actually taste it. I'm so sad, because it smelled absolutely delicious on my coworker. YMMV, but if you're not a fan of soapy scents or if patchouli and musk give you a headache, you might want to pass on this one.

Nancy83

I love the Windex design, it's gimmicky, but it works, I solely blind bought this perfume for the bottle look. I wanted to smell it first at Sephora during the VIB sale, but the perfume was not available in store. From the notes, the perfume seemed safe enough to blind buy it, all I asked was not to be terrible.

It's an everyday daytime perfume, a nice fresh soft scent that doesn't disturb anyone, not a wow perfume to me, but I don't regret it. It starts as a fresh citrus floral with moderate sillage. 1-2 hours later it gets warmer and woodier, softer and closer to skin, but enough to sniff it from time to time. After 6 hours, I can still sniff it, but it's more a skin scent.

The spray of the bottle is very powerful, but you can't really overspray with that one. Due to the power of the spray and that I sometimes reapply this fragrance after 6 hours, I think I will use up the bottle pretty quickly.

For a perfume I only bought for the bottle, I'm happy, but I don't think I will repurchase it. I'm glad I satisfied my curiosity, but there are plenty of fish in the sea and I feel I have better citrus floral fragrances in my collection, like Dior Addict Eau Fraîche.

Some of women say that its bottle has a traditional and bad look at femininity. Maybe its true. But whatever it is, this fragrance has chosen a courageous design that is really unique. An attractive scent also focuses on the notes of the fruity and Ylang Ylang and poeny notes, it has a moderate sillage and longevity.

zombieldehyde

Among the three "FRESH" scents, this one is the middle ground. It is fresh and clean just like its name but it also doesn't make an impression. It looks cute and all but the juice is what you pay for and it is not worth it for me.

Mona Lygre

I tested this nice perfume on a paper piece for the first time today,

-I sprayed it on the paper at three o'clock, now it's nine, and it still smells A LOT,

and okey, I see why this perfume is popular in Asia, because it is in fact very, very, very NICE!

It smells fresh and clean, soapy and soft, and in a way it says:

-I'll do anything to be your best friend!

I can't wait to try this beauty on my skin :))

Fresh Couture also reminds me a lot of my Black by Mexx, which I also love very, very, very much :D

TankGirl

It is easy to enter the hate train on this one. Look, if you want a complex rounded fragrance this is not for you. This is fresh, unisex, it has a 90's vibe and yes it smells like a cleaning product.
I can see this scent being huuuuuge in Japan, they are obsessed with scents like this is Asia, Asians love Moschino so yeah it all makes sense.
This is not great, but it is clean, pratical and just smells good, but not in a "wow amazing, so lux" way, it just smells nice and clean. I will wear it in Summer and when I just want to smell like I showered.

Anna Maky

A very generic, boring and annoying citrus fragrance in crazy bottle.I bought this miniature with body lotion and shower gel. The price was 6Euro.

msajoy

gorgeous unisex scent, very similar to CK all to my nose...with the fruitiness and freshness of florals...ck all is little more musky but both are pretty.this is just so good to smell on a hot summers day, also spring...blue skies and breezy day this will be perfectly unisex fragrance
8.5/10

desireelucero

I love this perfume! It might not be my signature, but it's my first option when it's sunny outside. The smell is very fresh and flowery but doesn't smell like a flowerbomb, or febreeze. I don't find any fruity notes in it.
The people who hate the bottle or don't "get it", probably expect another boring bottle that just says "expensive". Google Moschino. They've always designed crazy, ironic, irreverent things.
I think Twiggy or some funky girl would've worn this at a psychedelic party in the 60's or at The Factory. The bottle is something collectors will try to find 30 or 40 years from now.

doriandinu

This bottle is the perfect example that the fashion world goes somethimes really crazy in a really bad way!! Awful way of chosing to be different,bleah..

amanda7

Oh my god, do you really want to wear this in your bag and then take it out on public and use it? Horrible imagination. I would really be ashamed. You must be kidding. Or is it just for home use ? Good as first April joke but not as a serious perfume. Sorry didn´t get it.

senalica

I'll be honest - I did not buy this for the smell, but rather because of the bottle design - as an interesting enough addition to my collection of perfume miniatures. But now when I have tested it - it's a pleasant scent, rather typical for it's category of fresh scents - clean, citrusy, moderately sweet, a bit woodsy and actually wearable.

mfinley426

I love fresh perfumes, yet I’ve never been able to wear light blue. All the notes and descriptions made it seem like it would be right up my alley, but sadly I can’t stand the way it develops on my skin. This perfume is what I’ve always wanted out of the classic Light Blue. Refreshing, a little sharp, but then a little bit of spice in the dry down.

jenniferpev

This scent was dull and unimpressive. I also didn't like the packaging. I think it's tacky and would be a terrible eyesore in a perfume collection. A cleaning bottle, really? Someone might confuse this for Windex!!!! The sent is nothing special to me and is similar to something you would find at a drug store. I could say more about this but overall the scent is very boring.

diluted paintbox

I hate Light blue, so obviously I hate this one as well. Someone wrote it smells like coming out of the shower - maybe, if you have really dull shower gel.
Not that I don't understand fresh perfumes (although I really don't like them), but I don't get it why would you spend so much money, when you can just take a shower. The result is the same.

Besides the bottle (which is also a steal from Lush), this is REALLY boring.

Dort0625

Okay okay okay I have to start by saying that 1) Fresh scents are my favourite and 2) the bottle on this suckered me right in! So I’ve been eyeballing this online for ages now and not where in my city sells this brand so when I found this...OMG I found a gift pack of it....it had the 100mls size bottle, a 15mls rollerball, 100mls bath shower gel as well as lotion for $52.99 Canadian!!!!! I just about screamed my face off lol I of course bought it! And I’m so happy with it. It smells clean fresh citrusy and oh so so good! Now, I am having issues with allergies right now but I find this isn’t lasting as long as I expected it to, but again likely he allergies. Anywho....if you like fresh scents or even light aquatics than buy this gem!!!

LadyIva

I have already reviewed this fragrance, but here’s an update. I often swap fragrances with my hubby; I steal his Guerlain Vetiver, L’Occitan Eau de Cade and Versace Eau Fraiche, while he loves my florals and aquatics: he has used up full bottles of TF Black Orchid, Davidoff Cool Water for women etc. (But, for example, he would never touch my Nasomatto Black Afgano cuz he thinks it’s horrible!) Nine out of ten times my fragrances work much better on his skin, because I have very cold and dry skin that eats any scent right up, while he is a big and warm-skinned guy, hence most scents radiate much better off his skin and last longer. This shows that, when it comes to fragrance, gender tags are completely irrelevant - wear what you like and don’t worry if it’s packed in a pink or a blue bottle.
The word ‘bottle’ now brings me neatly to the protagonist of this post, that is Moschino Fresh Couture. I recently bought this fragrance very cheaply and started wearing it as an ‘everyday bergamot’. Then one day my husband saw the ‘window cleaner’ bottle, cracked up when I told him it’s a perfume, and had to try it. And, no surprises - it works much better on his skin; suddenly it’s not just ‘everyday bergamot’, but a wonderful zesty floral, with peony and ylang really standing out. Ergo, this funny bottle promptly ended up on his shelf. The only problem is that he tends to overspray, so I reckon he’ll finish off a 30ml bottle in less than a month. But as long as he is happy and smells good, I’m not complaining.

jamie-37

I've been searching for a perfume and I just can't figure out what I want lol? I know I've been in the mood for a variety of scents lol. Like the smell of Gain but Not tart, sharp, tangy, yet, I love the the smell of my car freshener (I know crazy lol) It's called coconut the Orange color, people had said to me at drive threw, like the bank, the pharmacy, etc, "something smells good and its coming from you or your car".

I happen to stumble across this! I could not believe that it's having the bottle look like Windex! Haha. what great collection and story to tell. I wouldn't think it smells like Windex LOL

Rune

I have nothing to say about the scent, since I have not sniffed it. But that one is seriously THE coolest bottle in the world!

I want that perfume, just because of the bottle. But since I'm a guy and definately don't like fresh scents either, I don't think I will buy it.

But the bottle is bingo and jackpot at once!

JetsBabe

How can people not like this?!! It's sorta similar to light blue.

1) cutest bottle ever!
2) smells out-of-the-shower fresh!
3) long-lasting

GainsbourgFan

I really loved the bottle - it's funny to me and quite cute in a weird way, but unfortunately the smell is acrid to me. It's very high-key and sweet with a 'clean' note that really rings false/chemical. The longevity and sillage is, as is often the case with fragrances that don't appeal, EXTREMELY good.

Like, I scrubbed and scrubbed, and it didn't fade away. My husband could smell it across the room and also did not like it. Suppose it's just not to our taste, or maybe my body chemistry turned something way, way up. It's a shame, because I really wanted to at least like it. Unfortunately for me I'd rather smell like actual Windex.

LadyIva

This is actually a very good perfume. I guess that the risk of releasing this scent in such a quirky bottle didn't really pay off, because lots of people ignored it or didn't take it seriously. But this is a nice and reasonably priced everyday fragrance, and surprisingly long lasting.

ojosverdes

Just got I and I love it. So refreshing, young and happy and the bottle is adorable. Almost missed buying it becuase the box was just a plain white box without the perfume name on it. Then Csme here to research the perfume and found it was this one which I had in my wishlist for a while. Tsi g this on vacation to the Caribbean next week. So excited. Love the Ambroxan note in perfumes so this is a plus. Wondering about the the sillage too.

natluvly

Why doesn't the box have the name of the scent? I saw this in Marshall's in the men's section also perplexing and I didn't even know what scent it was.

tanut.issarapong

I love it most..!!!

lmwimsatt

Ugh. The skin on my neck gets sore just looking at this. Gross. Is this really the best unique does? I don't think so. This packaging has been done before fuys

cake n' cuddles

As much as I like seeing interesting bottles and quirky concepts I think in this case it did not work in favor for me.
I was very interested to try this scent, especially after someone on the board described it as a very pretty peony scent. I got a spray sample from sephora, and while I do smell mandarin oranges and peony, I can't shake this feeling of windex. I'm not sure if I'm psyching myself out and this is a case of mind over matter, but really something about this DOES remind me of glass cleaner in a bad way. I suspect it's bergamot, ylang ylang, ambroxan...some kind of weird combination that does it for me?
I don't hate it, but I suppose I could never buy it.

AmyX

I sampled this in store. To be honest, the only thing that made me look twice was the cute and quirky bottle. The scent is rather generic, if nice, but for the price I gave this one a pass. If this was a $10 item I'd have snapped it up for the bottle alone, but as it is, it was not worth it to me. I'd rather get a couple of rollerballs or a sampler pack instead.

teadrinker

This smells exactly, and I do mean exactly, like I expected of a fragrance that comes out of a windex bottle. I don't mean that as a criticism. I love fresh scents. When I thought about what I was expecting before I first sprayed this, what came out was pretty much exactly what I was imagining. The reason for this, I suspect, is because it's a very close dupe of a Bath and Body Works fragrance, Fresh Sparkling Snow. I've been using that shower gel lately (though I am using the 2015 vintage, even though it's now New Years, 2017) and the smells are almost identical. I get some pear notes from Fresh Couture, though pear is not listed in the notes. I think my brain may be translating raspberry+peony into pear. Wear time is quite good on this fragrance, much better than many other fresh scents I've used. This is a fresh, fruity scent that is cold enough to be suitable for winter. Overall, I'm really enjoying this quirky little scent.

iamoir

Cutest bottle ever. And since Moschino has yet to fail me, i decided to open my Fresh Couture packaging. Name of the fragrance sums it up in my opinion. It's classy and fresh. Could be worn from all ages, I'd say it's unisex as well, but mostly I see it on teens and younger ages.

Sillage is medium, after four hours it stays close to the skin. Longevity is medium as well. Well, it's an EDT, what do you expect?

Personally, i like it. I will definitely wear it in the summer months. Day and night. There is nothing innovative, but the fragrance overall in not disappointing. There are a lot of similar fragrances in the market; the first one that comes to my mind is Eros Pour Femme Versace (minus the patchouli), but i like Fresh Couture better.

The notes seem inconsistent in the development. It opens sweet and fresh; it strikes me that bergamot and mandarin orange can come off sweet, but let's roll with it. Then it turns quickly into raspberry. After that it's peony and yland ylang. I can't seem to detect the osmanthus, and honestly i don't care, the fragrance is beautiful either way. I'd expect more prominent woods and i assume a lot of the sweetness comes from the ambroxan. The drydown though is citruces with a herbal patchouli. As the time passes the patchouli is what becomes prominent and doesn't fade, as peony and yland ylang will do.

I wish this was an EDP. Seriously Moschino should make an EDP out of it.

P.S.: I seriously underestimated the patchouli here. I wish the sillage was better so it would leave a trail! It's the most prominent note on me right now, after five hours of wear. Intense patchouli, which as always turns incense-y on my skin. Oh, I'm really glad!

esteban747

About a month ago I got a sample but I wasn't very interested in reviewing the perfume.
As with most moschino items, packaging with a shocking factor play a major role. But sometimes I feel this things are done by a teenager from the early 90's, you know, quite basic, tacky and predictable.
The fragrance is nice but nothing out of the ordinary. The opening is fresh, like a cologne, then slowly the light woods take over.
In a practically saturated market, I don't think Fresh Couture could survive. The need for a novelty packaging may get some attention but that's not guarantee for success.
Final note, you can find plenty of similar scents around.

alit

I'm not usually one to buy perfumes just for the pretty/original packaging but oh my, I fell in love with this one! I didn't really care what it smelled like, I had to have this bottle, the kitsch concept is really fun . I was happy to see that it is citrucy fresh type of frag based on the reviews here so I went for it in a heartbeat. (blind buy)
Now honest review: yes, loved the bottle in person too, but the fragrance is a bit disappointing: I was expecting something a lot more original to come out of this bottle. It is not bad and I will certainly wear it as I like citrus frags, but really.. it is very very generic, yes, it smells like floor cleaner a bit, yes, a bit artificial lemony.Don't get me wrong, it's nice and wearable, great for day wear for sure, love the bitterness of the lemon (more like lime), love the bergamot and the woodsy notes but I don't smell anything else, it doesn't evolve much from there. Longevity is decent. It smells decently masculine to me too, like cologne and generic one at that..so.. not a love, but a meh-like for me.
For now Burberry Beat is still a fave in the citrus based frags that I have(although its poor longevity)

snoww

I'd wanted to try Moschino Fresh fragrance for a while. Cute packaging and sounded like I'd like it. Got lucky Sephora offered a sample. This is a like for me, not a love. Seemed much like I expected, a fun super fresh citrus scent. My better half didn't like it much so I probably won't buy any. It reminded me of something I smelled before that I realized I have in my possession. An EDT from an Italian brand Perlier. It is called Oops and is part of their La Voglia Line, not often seen in the US. A friend who visited Italy brought me some lovely gifts including Oops. Not a dupe but a similar type of fresh bursting citrus fruity mix. Since I far prefer the more obvious berry notes in Oops I will continue to covet that rare option, not even listed here on Fragrantica. :/

tommy_girl

I had seen in every single shop I've recently visited, but was never eager to try it, as the bottle is really ugly (and this is despite the fact that I love most moschino perfumes). Today I decided to give a try to a sample I've had since 3 months or so and here's my review:
This was a good surprise! at first sniff reminded me of classique X, because of intense citrus/orange notes. soon raspberry appears and makes it mouth watering.
I'm a typical floral/fruity/citrus admirer, so this is the type of scent I usually don't get tired of. but I also can imagine more sophisticated noses liking it, as it is not too sweet, but FRESH with loads of citrus note. so definitely proper for summer.
I'm still unsure about longevity and sillage, but most moschino perfumes are not very long-lasting with monster sillage, so I guess this one is no exception too.
much better than my regular cleanser bottle, even though the bottle was a novel idea, I wouldn't buy because of that bottle, even if it contained the best perfume I've ever tried.

mounen

I really hate the bottle design. Every time I used it I'd be reminded of spraying cleaning product over a dirty surface.
I'm curious to know whether they would put a men's cologne in a cleaning bottle.

the_new_esta

This smells totally fine :)

I mean there's nothing about it that's really unique but at least it isn't offensive. I wanted to like Toy so bad but it's disgusting! At least now one of their cute bottles is wearable...

Contessa01

I have to admit the bottle suckered me into buying this one though the fragrance is really nice. It is fresh and sweet, a bit like I Love Love with more sweetness. The bottle is adorable.

Osmo

Really really fun bottling design. The openning is great for me, sounds really fresh and captures me in a way.. The drydown is not that good though, felt like a cloying feminin essence of plenty of 'fresh' women frags out there and looses its top notes' freshness / cleaness. Quite low sillage and longevity. Not bad, not great yet a really funny bottle.Liked!

joiedevivreh

This feels like Moschino's new take on "I Love Love". It's fresh, young, and fun. Nothing super exciting and definitely nothing that hasn't been done before. The packaging, however, is very creative! I am disappointed that the trigger spray is fake and the whole spray bottle is just part of the cap.

Jomoves

The best thing about this fragrance is seeing the beautiful 80s supermodel Linda Evangelista doing her thing again. They've airbrushed the living daylights out of her but it made me realize how much I missed seeing her face around.

Yes, the bottle is unique as far as perfumes go but the whole concept just seems like such a 90s gimmicky thing to do. This would be more understandable if the juice itself was unique but it's not - just smells like a generic scent that you've encountered a million times at the drugstore. Really nothing special at all.

Soofiya

Tested this just on paper and it was almost identical to lacoste touch of sun..a fresh warm weather scent which is kind of dry because of woods and has a delicate floralfruity sweetness,a combination of citruses, florals and woodsy notes and that's it..itt
Gonna edit when I test it more carefully, but for now it's meh,I really like it's unique bottle and want to own it,but the scent...well,not that intresting

ZELJO

this is already in sales in most shops, quite a commrcial flop

Siv7Stars

Oh what fun the bottle is. Yes it's a great gag, but it would've been funnier if the stuff inside didn't remind so much of floor cleaner. I think it's the synthetic peony that's got me again, headache on first spray. Just buy a bottle of Zoflora :/ Someone has said this reminds them of Fleur d'eau and the ozonic perfumes of the 90's. It so does not me. Really don't go here if that's what you're hoping for. Screechy generic slightly plastic floral with nothing to recommend it except it's packaging. Here's an idea for you for a perfumista friend's birthday. Get an actual Zoflora bottle or other glass packaged cleaning product, empty it and wash it, then put a nice cheapy in it, SJP or a Britney one, anything. It'll be the same joke but with a lovely punchline instead.

shauna.parra

I love to take this out of my handbag when no one knows what this is. I can never be mistaken for a cleaning lady but everyone thinks I'm about to spray some Windex or Lysol on their face. This has a Lysol type of citrus based scent that smells like an ingredient in my boyfriend's cologne Dior Sauvage: ambroxan. This chemical was going to kill it but they didn't put too much of it. It's like the sweetest nicest smelling fruity floral room spray for your house ever made. It has peony flower and strawberry so delicious. it's girly. I love the fruit top note of citrus. This is a fun perfume. If you can have fun and not take yourself or your perfumes to seriously this is a real treat. I love to spritz this on on warm days. I live in California where it can get 90-100 in summer time and to freshen up I spritz on this little cleaning product. So good!

nerisha86

this is good for collection purposes, like me. the bottles is unique. lol

marina md

Alright, so the dislike bar is clearly hitting the ceiling because of the bottle.

Fragrance itself is quite similar to other floral Moschino releases such as Funny, I love love or Oh...de Moschino - all inoffensive, casual summertime crowd pleasers. Is that really that bad? Nothing groundbreaking, but far from smelling THAT bad. I know I've smelled worse (so have you, probably).

Malibu

Fresh Couture suits it's name and bottle design, as whilst the top and heart notes are fresh, clean and slightly retro in style, the base notes add warmth and depth to the fragrance as they develop, making Fresh Couture seem a bit more on the dressier side the longer I wear it. Really enjoyable for warmer weather.

The fragrance opens with watery and slightly-sweet citrus and raspberry; a fresh and energising, yet soft and feminine mix. The florals start of on the sharp side, before becoming a more traditional powdery blend as they develop and settle. The bergamot, and what seems to be gardinia are the strongest florals on me at first, both of which are tart on my skin.

After a few hours the peony and what I think is orange blossom overtake the tarter notes, softening and smoothing the fragrance. As the louder florals die down the lingering sweetness of the fruits and the soft powered florals begin to become creamy, heated and faintly sugared as the base notes deepen.

yiota.liapi

such a simple scemt tha i find it annoying

polkadot27

I love the bottle! haha! Moschino designers are jokers!

This is exactly why I love this brand and own 3 of their fragrances, they are not scared to add playful humour and be very unorthodox and outside of the box! They do not take themselves too seriously. It is such a fun brand!

I cannot comment on the scent as I have not tried it, but i bet it is fun!

Taz95

Silly bottle I wouldn't spray it in front of people to avoid the tacky comments cuz of the bottle

PerfumeKing14

i actually love this. it's clean, fresh, long lasting, i cant fault it honestly & it draws compliments every time i wear it which is great.

mypersonalharmonics

No, this doesn't smell like I Love Love apart from the mandarine-vivid orange opening.

It quickly, repeat, quickly turns into a middle-notes blushed floral. Ohhhh, ok, I found it.

It reminds me TOO MUCH of Rose Imaginaire by Roger&Gallet. Which is basically the same thing, for 1/4 of the price and in a better bottle.

(I am a fan of Moschino's TOY when it comes to their recent creations, but these "marketing packagings" make the stuff way overpriced and the juice feels irrelevant.)

Meere

I know many people hate this. I actually like this scent.
And I know that many people thinks that bottle is absolutely horrible, but I think it's pretty funny and interesting. Unique bottle.

Southern Blonde

Ambroxan is what is makes this fragrance. Normally I wouldn't care for ambroxan and have smelled it on such perfumes as Juliet Has A Gun Not A Perfume and in Dior Sauvage. It's citrusy and amber paired up together and can smell so good if done right in perfumery. This is a full bodied and fresh scent of citrus and flowers. Don't be fooled by the appearance of the bottle. Do you honestly think they're gonna make a perfume that smells like Windex? At the first spritz it's fresh with mandarin orange and bergamot, so cool and refreshing that it's summery and perfect to take with you to the beach. After the citrus subsides I smelled flowers: ylang and peony. Soft and delicate flowers. There is a raspberry note which gives this scent a sweetness very girly girl more like a raspberry dessert. The dry down is that ambroxan chemical note and the woods. If you can't handle ambroxan this is not for you. You need to know what that stuff wears like on your skin. I don't mind it especially when partnered with such sweet smelling scents as peony and raspberry. Totally feminine and sweet, not the overpowering harsh chemical scent you'd expect coming out of the bottle the way it looks.

blake.lee

First spray is I Love Love all over again. Then it dries down into a more watery Light Blue.

fragrantlove

Was so disappointed you can't spray this on through the nozzle like a regular cleaning spray!! The nozzle is a lid and you lift it to uncover a plain old perfume sprayer. Ugh! The scent is fresh, but turns sour on my skin after a while, as many fruity scents do.

Kione

Oh no, citrus screechy and loud. You could call it fresh but its too strong to be fresh. I don't like it.
Also I though with the novelty bottle the spray would work as a cleaner spray, using the red bit, nut no, you have to remove the whole top which leaves you with an ordinary press down spray. So its not even fun to use.

ZELJO

Starts like inoffensive and almost citric EDC but real soon turns intoxicating and strong in the 70s vibe but without the big climax of the perfums from back then, suitable mostly for mature women and clearly selling the bottle as an artistic icon rather than the juice itself

ParfumFetiche

No, it doesn't smell like glass cleaner (Versace Man Eau Fraiche is). Peony and bergamot are the two prominent notes I get on my skin. Smells like one of those fresh floral fruity female teen scents at Sephora. Performance is okay on my skin.

viridian

Not a review but an observation... I'm surprised no one has mentioned the movie 'Moscow on the Hudson'. Robin Williams plays a Russian saxophonist who defects in the perfume department of Bloomingdales in New York during a 30 minute shopping spree. There is a scene where one of the women from his circus troupe is sampling perfumes and picks a Windex bottle off the counter to give herself a couple of spritzes. The film is on youtube and that scene is around the 27:00 - 28:00 minute mark. I wonder how often this has actually happened in real life!

Mariann79

Fresh and beautiful perfume. Reminds me om Valentino valentina, but a little weaker. Valentina have more debth to it :) Nice and clean smell.

Maoocha

I was giggling the moment I first saw this perfume at Sephora! Moschino always have a way to bring a smile to your face.

I was so tempted to buy a bottle, but the juice was too citrusy for my taste.
The bottle is genius, though. Love it!

Martin94

First of all this a UNISEX perfume, I am absolutely sure, because when I bought 100ml bottle, i got aftershave balm and gel. I don't think women use aftershave. So anyway i thi k this is reallly fresh but it has some kind of sweetness that attracted me. I am not fan of fresh perfumes though. And yes I boughtit from men's section

Emma0714

Yes, bought for the bottle - Of course. Not ashamed at all.
Jeremy Scott is in my opinion brilliant. As is this bottle.

Buuuut let's talk about what is inside.

This fragrance won't turn as many heads as the bottle will; I can assure you that. But: It is fresh. Not like a cologne/lemon/unisex kinda fresh, which might have been to prefer. But it is a light floral. A bit sweet. Nothing remarkable. Peony is what is most notably strongest on me. It actually reminds me of burning a Yankee Candle.

I will wear this after a shower at a stay at home day and not complain.

But let's look at the bottle again. Genius.

yidansheng

Another copy of Acqua di Gioia... And it's so animalic, which has nothing to do with clean/fresh!
But I really do adore the design of the campaign and bottle!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

somethingbrighter

Style over substance? I can't tell whether it's just psychological because of the gimmicky bottle, but this actually does smell like cleaning product to me on spraying. Like a citrussy bathroom cleaner. Fortunately it gets better on drydown, with the raspberry being the strongest note... but still, not for me.

Smunky

When I saw this at my local pharmacy tonight, I had to try it!!! I personally love the bottle - totally fun and kitschy. It makes me happy. But when I sprayed it on, I was disappointed. Another nondescript fresh citrusy summer-geared scent. At this point, I really should know better than to judge a scent by the first spritz. The dry down is sweet, but not sugary, warm; but light. Longevity is pretty decent - one spritz is going on its 4th hour. I may have to go back and pick this one up. The scent itself isn't a great love for me, but the bottle nudges it up.

Cerise Noire

The bottle is gimmicky but in a non annoying way somehow. It's even cute in person. As for what's in it, this is a true "office scent". Inoffensive, fresh, whatever. Test it out on yourself and when it wears off you'll forget what it even smells like.

cherubkiss

Love the bottle, I think it is wacky and fun, makes me laugh. As for the perfume, it is a really suitable for day wear, perfect for the work place. It is really fresh smelling, soft fruits and flowers. It is what it says on the bottle, fresh, and very clean smelling. Like it, in fact I bought it today, Looking forward to spraying it in work and watching people reactions as I get the bottle out of my bag!

alfarom

I so wanted to like Fresh Couture but I'm afraid I really couldn't. The whole packaging and concept could have given birth to something really interesting. Something that with just a bit of imagination and courage could have turned into the *next-level* of *anti-luxury* products started more than a decade back by Comme Des Garcons with the *Odeurs* duo and later by Lush with Dirty.
A statement against modern, inoffensive and characterless perfumery. A statement against pretentiousness trapped in fancy bottles. Yes, this is what Fresh Couture could have been but I'm afraid this is the most vile and hilariously cheap smelling fruity floral I've smelled to date. It basically smells like Windex with a girly twist. Terrifying. Stay well away.

A sadly missed opportunity.

Rating: 3/10

I filtered the votes for and against this perfume and doing so confirmed my suspicions and probably Moschino's that most people under 25 will respond warmly to this perfume bottle. I'm well over 25, but I think the bottle is amusing, playful and appeals to the target demographic. Not buying a perfume because you hate the bottle means you might be missing out on a real gem (see Scentstory's 24 line for example).

As for the perfume itself, it's a very unremarkable, inoffensive, girly floral citrus.

Gigi The Fashionista

I had fun with this fragrance when I first purchased it. Originally, I bought the 50 ML because it looks like the size of an actual household cleaning product. I left it where my housekeeper cleaning lady could see it and just as I had predicted, she mistook it for Windex and began to spray it on the glass on one of my windows. She was quite surprised when she smelled a sweet, perfumy fragrance. She was perplexed and then just put the bottle down. I was laughing but she didn't hear me. I then told her that it's my new perfume and that I forgot where I'd left it. This is the kind of fragrance you can have lots of fun with. Children will love it and even spray it on themselves. Your friends will definitely notice if you take it out of your purse and spritz it on. The 30 ML is small enough to fit into your handbag. I've already used up my 50 ML and have purchased the 100 ML. Just like the name suggests this is a fresh fruity floral fragrance. Starts off with citrus notes and Ylang-YLang. I'm usually not into citric fragrances but this gives it a freshness and sweetness right from the start. I could smell even sweeter notes of raspberry. Flowers are peony and osmanthus. It becomes a light soft floral scent The end and the dry down is woodsy. Patchouli gives it a kick and amber gives it a cleanness. It always feels like this is a fragrance that cleans your skin like soap but I don't mind that at all. This is a unique creative loveable perfume and I highly recommend it. If you love fruity florals this perfume ought to be in your collection.

mirisfrik

Simple and somehow plain smell, but fresh, safe and wearable, packed in an interestng bottle. Packing makes it just a little bit above the average. Solid C i'd say.

FabulouslyLazy

I haven't tested this perfume yet, but the bottle is soooooo tacky. According to the notes, it mustn't be too bad either, but please, the bottle is terrible, it's so ugly that it cannot be looked at.

smellagent

Update: I just got this in today and it was so cute I could just spit. The bottle just makes me laugh. The fragrance smells fresh and I think a little zesty almost bordering on spice. I just sprayed it on my boss at work so we will have to see if it develops to where I can smell rasp. and Osmanthus. I hope so. Anyway overall I'd say pleasant and very wearable.

sherry22

I love this fragrance on first see and then on first smell and also on others smells. I think the bottle is very original, funny and make you smille, everybody smilled when I show them this bottle and they also like the fragrance. I think life is hard and serious, so it is good to make it sometimes happy and crazy. The fragrance is very good and fresh, I smell mostly mandarines, I like it. It is good for summer or spring.

ScarlettX

I don't like the scent nor the bottle. It's peony with fruits. A very sharp peony. It's is fresh, but not the kind I would like.
I like practical jokes a lot, but this bottle is not a good one. I can't imagine who would want to buy it.

bellemoore

I have to admit that I took a rather shallow approach to this fragrance, and didn't want to like it because of the bottle. That being said, I managed to sample it last week on a scent card which has been in my coat pocket since, and still smells strong, so kudos on longevity!
About the fragrance profile - it's nothing ground-breaking but is perfectly NICE. The name is appropriate, as the fragrance opens with a fresh hit of citrus then dries down to a very pleasant floral/amber mixture. Not sure why but to me it feels like it would fit in with the DKNY Be Delicious line..
In conclusion - nice fragrance, probably wouldn't pay out for it though.

Bbjr

Are they making 3.4 oz bottles of window cleaner now and confusing people?

Houdini4

Stop the hate!
It's kitsch...well ultra kitsch to be fair. Hey it's not big or clever, just mildly amusing. The scent itself is actually quite nice. A very inoffensive, citrus, aquatic type perfume which allowed to dry down actually becomes more floral. In the similar way the last release 'Toy' was in offensive and above all, not cheap smelling so is Fresh Couture.
Don't get me wrong the fact I'm defending it illustrates that I'm on board with the concept but I will say this. I was almost railroaded into buying because the SA knows I bought the Teddy bear last time and pretty much I'm a sucker...and she saw me coming.
The way I viewed it was as a daft item for my collection and the kind of scent I wouldn't normally be incentivised to buy, so it serves the purpose of giving me a fresh light summer scent I wouldn't of otherwise had to wear when that time of year rolls around again.
Oh and the bottle is much cooler when you see it in person a picture might not do it justice.

Fleike

Today, many perfumes, are worse than the household cleaners. Especially those of low-end as Moschino. This Fresh is not fresh but slightly fruity, it seems bullshit kind "Britney Spears". Horrendous.

kitsunemagic

This would make a great gag gift xD I can see the reactions now especially when they're shocked when I spray this on to prove its not window cleaner

Kohla1

I find this bottle funny but I would not buy it cause I would worry that a child would see me spraying it on me and go find some window cleaner and spray themselves.

Musume

I love the bottle, I'd love to have a 30ml one and display it on my desk at work.

ChrisInBrooklyn

LOVE the bottle and packaging!!! Perfectly suited to the Moschino brand... ironic and POP!

Art, commerce and creativity against the grain of proper "elegance." If you don't get the irony and sense of humor maybe it's time to lighten up? It's meant to be funny, weird and off-the-wall. In a world where everything begins to look the same, enjoy a little blast of nonsense. Not everything has to be so serious all the time! :-)

miss mills

I love the bottle! Why not? Very pop art. Need to try it though.

Senzadite

Hey!!! This should be the bottle for Dior´s Sauvage wich smells exactly like windows cleaner!!!

nightcat23

I bet the 30ml will be the cutest little windex bottle!

Guermantes

Eau de TOILET haha :D
sorry couldn't resist :P

Scent2Bed

This is truely a throw back to Franco's time (Franco Moschino) in the most positive way.

It is playful, high art, ground breaking and smells great. The tongue in cheek presentation is what the brand's DNA is all about. Moschino is a house that has always gone against the norm and this project delivers on that message perfectly.

Jeremy Scott continues to breath fresh air into the brand and has managed to update the collection and the house for today's consumers.

In a world of just the same, shouldn't being different be rewarded?

He deserves a medal for not putting another Oud fragrance out in the market and breaking the mold. The bottle and the accompanying scent are just an extension to his vision: Fresh, whimsical, nostalgic, modern and a piece of art.

Franco Moschino would be proud!

Gigi The Fashionista

All thes reviews and the fragrance isn't even out yet. It's October 8 here in New York so I'm wondering when this fragrance is actually available for purchase in stores or online. It has citrus notes and if they are strong thats the only reason I would not buy this. I don't like citrus notes. I hate smelling of orange mandarin or lemon. Some fragrances over do it like the Shalimar Initial reformulation or its eau de toilette version. This says it has peony and raspebrry which sounds like it would smell very sweet. I would love to sample it and use a tester before deciding whether or not to buy it. it also has patchouli and I hate patchouli. Always ends up smelling like marijuana to me. I am dying to sample it. If you are decide you like it and buy it don't be so closed minded about how it looks. Sure it looks like Windex but you can always keep the bottle at home after you've sprayed it on yourself. To me a perfume is not about how the bottle looks. It's about how it smells. What if this ends up smelling fantastic??

MWGM

I don't like this bottle at all. And for that reason only I won't buy it and I won't even try it. I don't care how nice it may smell. Just NO.

Bebe70

I'll do my windows with that tomorrow.
I'm sure it's better than Ajax.

Red Rose

if I ever got my hands on this bottle then I'm gonna use it to scent the furniture & the clothing I work at home cleaning all the time in. It's original place would be in the4 laundry room & not in my luxurious vanity for sure. I guess this is the concept of this fragrance as Moschino is not an idiot enough to make people throw tomatoes at this company at the end of the day...period.

Kione

I don't like the bottle at all. And for that reason only I won't buy the perfume. I think I won't even try it, embarrassing!

kizz_man

We need mirror

Arlene-Beatrix

This scent could smell purely angelic, but I would not buy it anyway... the bottle... is elegance dead?

pauluch3

The bottle is definitely a conversation starter! The packaging is different and stands out on the shelf. Guessing that the fragrance is going to be rather ordinary, but I might be wrong.

ena86

I don't like the bottle

Peters155

Say it be so funny see a woman pull this bottle out her clutch bag and spraying her self down in a bottle of toilet cleaner lol. Have a good day everyone

Bigsly

Looks like the theme of the year might be truth in packaging! LOL.

Sveltekittie

Having a large collection of gorgeous bottles I wouldn't be caught dead with this tacky thing on my dresser. However, if it smells good enough I might still consider buying and tucking it away inside of a drawer, out of sight where this "flacon" will never see the light of day. :-D

Sierrasaurusrex

I need this, that is hilarious! Just imagine one of your friends is over and they see you spray yourself with what looks like a bottle of windex. That would be funny.

weegee

A Windex bottle! For years I've said I care more for the fragrance than the flacon it's in, so much so that I wouldn't care if it "came in a Windex bottle". Well, well, well... someone was paying attention. Still, a pretty big jump from Olive Oyl to Windex.

THIS I've just GOT to try! And if it turns out I can't wear it, maybe it cleans windows???

AmoreProfumi

OK Moschino we get it, you like to be weird & different..

CelebrityPerfumeLover

The only thing I can say is... W...T...F...???
Only Jeremy Scott can create a bottle like this!
This is the weirdest and craziest perfume bottle I have ever seen!

michael.j

This might have been transgressive 30 years ago, but it is inert in today's commodity and media landscape of extremes, a relic of an outdated cultural politics. Moreover, I am doubtful Franco Moschino would have approved of it; its message is too obvious. Jeremy Scott's stewardship of the House of Moschino is altogether too literal. Franco Moschino's social commentary through the manipulation of the signs and symbols of popular culture and global consumerism was a great deal more subtle than Scott's ham-handed conceptual grammar. Scott's reach exceeds his grasp. None of this matters, of course, as long as the cash is rolling in.

zakkarah

Love it to bits!!

The perfume trade is so hung up on posh bottles and snobbism that we could all need a bit of humour!

Cheers
Matz in Stockholm

MeThePerson

Refreshing idea! Can't wait to try it and offer a validated opinion of the fragrance rather than just the container it is packaged in like the majority have done so far...
Don't get why conceptual ideas scare people so much...
It's almost as if...
As if people... FEAR something different?... ooooooh, spooky!
"We fear having our narrow ideals and comforting safety barriers challenged" 'Deliverance' style.

BriantheFragranceNewb

I bet that's one expensive bottle of Windex.

Ambergris Intoxication

This isn't tacky, it's cute and funny. Lighten up, it's not like the bottle looks like an open clam or a pile of doo! That would be tacky!

I think the bottle is a fine example of Pop Art! I hope it smells nice!

smellagent

I LOVE THE BOTTLE. KINDA OF ANDY WARHOL LIKE. I HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR AND DON'T TAKE THINGS TOO SERIOUSLY. MIGHT BUY IT FOR THE BOTTLE.

jasonx

It's so easy being considered creative these days. Just do something extremely tacky & tasteless. Just as those entertainers in their outfits inspired by weed with their titties out. Cheap!

Ambergris Intoxication

I had this idea in the 90's when I was like 16 and it would have been cool. I think it would have been a runaway hit back then.

I'm sorry but I have to brake my "no blind buys for campy bottles" rule and get this. It's so horrible I need this! I've always wanted a bottle like this. I hope it's reusable glass.

alimuanis

Just imagine ..
If any one bought it by mistake as cleaner stuff.. without noticing that is perfume for women !! and when they clean the glass of windows then he smell the good smell and says very good and wonderful smell , but Unfortunately does not clean the glass of windows well or kitchen or tools toilets. Shame the smells fresh nice quality, but this does not remove the dirt and does not cleaning well??
or any women take it form her bag and some says , god she forget some of kitchen tools with her !! she poor lady she look so busy in here house . god help her...!!!
just imagine more and more of stories of this bottle ................................................................................................>

roseombre

Pure Genius!
Ah break the mold, to subvert the traditions. Wow.

astamm62

Tacky bottle. I could do the same, and empty a bottle of Windex and fill it with fragrance.

Agafia

You have got to be kidding me...

OKcololo

Hey Moschino!! Lush called: they want their idea back!

Endymion

I think Linda Evangelista an attractive mature woman now, why the hell should these marketing experts photoshop her to look like 20 years younger??? So annoying!!!

Nikkafragrance

Perfume in a bottle for a windows cleaning liquid?! You gotta be kidding me! This looks so... unmarketable. I haven't tried the scent yet, but this is one of worst ideas for a perfume bottle I've ever seen. Sorry Moschino :(

rickyfreaky13

Who wants a silly glass cleaner bottle in their wardrobe?

mots

ha ha I already LOVE this
