I got it as a blind buy, a truly unique fragrance, a great blend of spices, woodiness, nuttiness, for this price point. I hope they bring it back so that I won't run out of it. The other Omnia line fragrances are way more generic and perfumy compared to this one.

Ana Letic

I love the freshness and citruses from this. I just do not like that all the Bvlgari's have moderate longevity, I wish they lasted longer.

DrGeetaVas

Love this … its in my collection …

MadameMerola

I received this perfume as a gift from my perfume vendor few weeks ago. At first, I was like it is nice but not overtly excited about it. I decided to wait a while and give it more time before writing my review about it.

I packed it in my suitcase and went on my annual Christmas holiday. My extended family members really like and all commented on it, way more than any other perfume I took along.

Now, I can tell you I can identify this scent as distinctive and with some character. The top notes are quite bold and a lovely blend of spices and florals on me. It mellows after a few minutes but makes it presence felt for a few hours.

What I appreciate about this perfume the most is that it gets along very well with other scents. I have layered Omnia with French Coffee and it was amazing. I have layered it with some Arabian fragrances from Lattafa, Fragrance Worlld and Sawalef and they have all been hits. It also blends well with fragrance body mists and perfume oils, so I am thoroughly enjoying this pretty bottled coral gift.

I would be interested in getting another bottle if the price is nice for sure. So if you can find it, do try it, you might end up falling in love with it, like I have. 😍

FlowerSeeker

What a beautiful blend of warm and creamy spices. Those middle notes are to die for! I don’t usually wear spice blends but this has me sniffing my skin repeatedly. A gorgeous fragrance. 🤎

RamaDMS

From what I remembered, this is a very beautiful warm scent... Too bad they discontinued this.

AquaRegia

Picture sipping Indian Spiced Tea, masala chai, against the backdrop of Southern Europe—that's the essence of Bvlgari Omnia. This fragrance offers a distinct departure from the familiar French, Italian, and Spanish women's scents. While it may be light and lacking in projection, it maintains a unique character.

Opening with zesty Ginger and aromatic Cardamom, it transitions into Nutmeg and Cinnamon, ultimately settling as Chocolate and Sandalwood. Although now discontinued, this somewhat higher-priced designer scent was a diluted take on the European fragrance norm, subtly infused with Asian spices.

With an exceptionally unique bottle design and crafted by a legendary perfumer, its underwhelming year-round performance remains a point of contention. The fragrance's allure may not match the hype it once garnered.

There is definitely something amiss with this formula. I bought it new six months ago (reputable online fragrance discounter), and could barely smell it at all so let it sit quietly in my cabinet to give it time to develop over the warm months. Pulled it out again today... and I sprayed and sprayed. And sprayed some more. Like 20-30 sprays. Skin, clothes, hair, everything. (My usual number of sprays is 3-5, depending.) While the scent is nice, it has very little presence and no depth at all. Looking at the notes it should be warm and have some depth even if it's light-wearing and casual, but it's like there is nothing there. I don't even feel right re-selling this! Or donating it, because it's just not a perfume - even from a thrift store a buyer would be let down. I gave it a couple hours then added a few more sprays, !! and layered Lalique "Lalique" over it to try to get some action going. At best it will be a body spray I'll use a base layer for other scents with a warm / spicy profile. If it has been discontinued, it's too bad that quality slipped so badly before they pulled the plug. I don't write bad reviews because fragrances are such a personal thing, however this one I feel a responsibility to let buyers know it's a risky purchase to buy what might be the last remaining stock of Omnia. Wish I had a vintage to compare this to - because it sounds like it must have been really lovely.

Edit, one month later:
As luck would have it, I purchased a small auction collection of vintage mini bottles and this was one of the collection. The batch code dates it to October 2003, and indeed, as suspected, this little dabber mini has much more personality than the recent one. It is at once spicy AND fresh, autumn-crisp. It's warm but without cloaking you in it, really nice for daytime. I am really enjoying it!

pinotos802

This is different and unique, androgynous but slightly feminine. The only downside is the performance, 4hrs max and weak sillage.
Oh, apparently this is discontinued. Well, I received a small sample of it just recently so that's weird lol.

Rose2002

The fragrance has a very poor silage, while it’s longevity is even worse. Its scent is not impressive or outstanding.

Ashalia

Good: unique scent. Nothing else in my collection smells like this.

Bad: too soft and too light. Weak performance.

eva.daisy.88

I have to agree with some of the latest reviews, this is really like a watery-chai with hairspray, with weak performance. Maybe it’s good that it was discontinued.

ali_minaj If you see this, try looking for Bvlgari Eau Parfumee Au The Blanc. I’m wearing it from a sample right now because I love Bvlgari. I also own Omnia and wore it for years. My skin really enhances warm, woody, spicy scents.

As Au The Blanc has warmed up on my skin, it’s so close to Omnia I ran to Fragrantica to compare the notes again. They’re from the same year, and have lots of note overlaps. Hope this helps!

ali_minaj

This was my mothers all time favorite :( we cant find it no more.. is there anything that smells like this perfume out there ?!?

Firepink

One of my favorites, so elegant and warm. I'm still upset it was discontinued.

dancefloorheart

I wore Omnia by night for years, so I guess it used to be my signature fragrance. It is a beautiful light oriental, very warm, great for winter. A complex combination of spices and ambery notes, there's some mandarin that gives it a Chypre aspect, a flower scent in the background. Very feminine, though not sweet, an elegant scent. I'm sorry to hear its first iteration is hard to come by, luckily I still have an unopened bottle, which, by the way, is striking but unnecessarily difficult to handle, and this goes for all the "double-ring" bottles of the Omnia fragances collection.

agejo

a lot to not like from this one. 1) bottle is um.. quite ugly. very basic.. 2) too many notes.. clash with each other.. 3) very weak... most perfumes similar to this (warm spicy) are quite strong, so this was shocking to me? do not get it as a blind buy unless you're fond of spicy, yet light fragrances..

karinevandal

There's something similar to Crystal Noir. But make it more soft & on the warmer side! I like this one very much 🖤

Wonder_Rose

I'm getting chai, almond, and something powdery. It's nice and warm, but the powdery-ness ages the fragrance a little to me and makes it very "perfume-y". I was expecting to love this based on the notes, but it's just ok.

rezzmail

I can't say I don't like this scent; it reminds me of chess pieces and a predominantly wood based library. But past that it's not my favorite thing, with nutty and spicy accords I would usually love; the scent just sort of stews in itself as if it's old and not to where it smells rustic, but to where it smells stale.

Yes Malena

Visceral attraction. Smells like clean blow-dried hair/scalp. Weird analogy? Maybe. But it's a good smell. I believe I have a newer bottle; I bought it from fragrancenet in 2021.

I love that there's no vanilla.

Update 3/32/24: I no longer enjoy wearing Omnia, oh well... Very strange blend.

aray

This has been on my wish list for forever. I finally grabbed a bottle when I saw it 60% off on fragrancenet.com but this is NOT the same scent I smelled years ago in a sample that I absolutely loved. This is a thin, watery chai with a whole lot of hairspray-y sandalwood and not much else. I can’t believe this went through approval. It’s not even a shadow of its former self. So sad.

acottong

Perhaps this was better back in the day! But today, smelling from a small sample spray, this gives me watery chai with a side of hairspray. Not altogether terrible—I can see how this could be delicious and comforting with some small changes, like an increase in warmth, sweetness, and sillage! After enjoying many of its flankers, I'm glad I got the opportunity to try the original Omnia. I'll definitely be in line if they re-issue or re-formulate this.

lotx

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this fragrance it's almost impossible to get now. Everytime I wear it I get compliments, one male friend of mine covered himself in it when I took it in to work. I'm gutted it's discontinued I haven't found anything like it even the copies aren't the same. BRING IT BACK

Red Jaguar

I can't wait to wear this around fall and Christmas. It reminds me of white cocoa with a peppermint candy cane. Once it's on the skin for a bit it reminds me of a chocolate orange and even the scent of a clementine when you first peel it.
Husband loves it.

Katie <3

An unusual, spicy scent with the freshness of lotus that is very complimentary. A light oriental. Highly recommended.

Tinabill

Mild chai latte.
Only one of the listed notes can sum up Omnia; chai. A fragrant tea with softly warm spices and creamy sweetened milk. Maybe there are some mandarin oranges on the side as well.
Omnia is a very adorable, smooth and comforting smell.
Like most Bvlgaris, the scents stay close to my skin and the longevity is on the lower side of moderate, around 3 hours. (I purchased it at least 5-6 years ago, so the poor performance has been an issue with the previous formula as well). However this delicate performance allows me to wear it even on warm nights whenever I’m craving a spicy smell in summer.

AllisonNW

I should love this based on the notes, but this smells like hairspray. Like bad ‘90s non-aerosol hairspray. I tried it on skin and on clothing. It smells better on skin, but better in this case is still not good. I’ve given it 3 different weather scenarios hoping that I would “get it” (blind bought it in the winter and tried in spring and now hot temps) but it’s still like hugging your mom in 1992 and her fried, stiff, bleach blonde perm suffocates your face.

Ashleypaige

This smells like cinnamon mixed with baby powder. Very mature smelling which is so sad because I was hoping for something sweet like the reviews were saying. Very disappointed.

MrsMRe

I love cinnamon-spice ambers like Opium, Fendi, and Cinnabar and was disappointed to get no discernible spices, but rather a pleasant soapy wood on the drydown, after about half an hour of dill-weed-y sandalwood. I was happy with my TJ Maxx purchase and feel that it has promise. I am going to let it sit and mature a bit and will try it again when the weather cools down in the fall.

bel 1

I don’t know which formulation my sample is but this is a nice, sweet, creamy spicy scent. I can’t comment on the sillage but one spray shared between both my wrists is still there 5 hours later. I can’t really pick out the notes without looking at them, but I do get white chocolate and some vague spiciness. I guess that means it’s really well blended, but to me that makes it smell like “perfume”… just generic women’s designer perfume that doesn’t stand out and isn’t easily recognisable because it just smells like every other perfume. Normally this is a bad thing for me, but I don’t think I mind it here? I think it makes it a really good safe option for someone who’s used to fruity vanillas but wants to slowly get into spicy scents. It’s really warm and comforting and feels like a hug, but without smelling mature. I like it a lot more than I thought I would.

chrissychrispants

I heard this had been discontinued, then bought it when it came out again - but we all know reboots are risky compared with the originals.

I wanted the beautiful, elegant, alien, chai I'd read about. I got a fairly generic fresh and lightly spiced frag with no lasting power. I guess the reformulation is about the cash grab...but I won't be fooled twice.

Maschka

This is sooo beautiful! One of my "me in a bottle scents". Smells as if Bal d'Afrique and Champaca Absolute (TF) had a baby! Its fresh, clean, creamy, very feminine and delicate. The freshness of the drydown also reminds me of Versense by Versace. I'm wearing it right now on sunny warm spring days, but I feel like it would work in any situation and any weather! Maybe my bottle is of the newer formulation, because I don't really get a woody-creamy-sweet base but rather something green and musky.. Maybe its the lotus? It definately has similarities with Omnia Crystalline as well. Such a pitty it got discontinued

vanirai

It’s not bad, just very masculine and it’s not what i was expecting. Blind bought it and i regret it, but if you like heavier masculine scents it won’t hurt. Otherwise PLEASE try it before you buy

spiceysauce5

I havent smelled the old formulation but the new one is quite weak/watery.

Good news is that the scent is so good it might warrant a purchase anyway! Creamy Chai that's warm but not overwhelming. Maybe a good signature scent bc its so light? Good for a day when you don't want to wear fragrance but still want to smell good.

SusanTheTeach

This smells very much like Rima XI by Carner Barcelona but less rich & dense. I prefer Rima XI by a lot as it is much more intoxicating, addictive, and complex but the 2 are very similar. I only have the Royalty Scents 8ml of Rima XI yet I have the full bottle of Omnia. I am going to try layering the 2 since they have the same DNA so that my Rima XI won't get used up too fast!

Cherry_Darling

I always enjoy bvlgaris, they always pleasantly surprise me. This is a lovely spicy chai, with lots of sweet (not too sweet) nuances. One of the few designers that are consistently impressive. (Apart from longevity) I get plenty of tea notes here, cardamom but subtle, not overpowering like in Jacomo. Ginger, pepper, all the lovely chai spices and in the softer form which I prefer (sometimes chai can be overwhelming.) As far as chai frags go this is definitely a good one (Baruti chai being my top favourite, although that one is to be sprayed carefully as it is a bomb.) This one you can be a bit more liberal with. Thumbs up Bvlgari

Yes Malena

Warm and creamy, fresh and spicy. I get musk. I have a new bottle and I find the sillage is very close. So satisfying. I love to wear this because it's soft and comforting, and I don't know of another one quite like it right now. Really really good.
Similar feeling to Donna Karan Cashmere Mist, and also Versace Crystal Noir edt.
Thanks, Alberto Morillas and Bvlgari!

PerfumeEmpress

I think I was fortunate enough to get a pre-reformulation bottle of this gorgeous scent because there is nothing flowery or soapy about it. Mine smells spicy, warm, woody, which is exactly what I was looking for. Hubby bought it for me I can't even remember when and I let it sit in my drawer, unopened, for a long spell. Some days ago I decided to try it. And it was love at first sniff. I cannot describe it. All I can say is I simply HAD to spray a bit on my chest before I went to bed. Next day my jammies smell of it, I still smelled of it. I am in perfume heaven. Only now I am afraid to run out of it so I wear it on very, very special occasions.

Curse reformulation. Look, I am aware that there are some ingredients that cannot be used anymore for reasons ... never mind, don't start me. But if they have to reformulate a scent, for pity sake MUST they change it so that it doesn't even come close to the original? Just create a new one if the original is not up to the young-at-any-cost crowd's standards (term used loosely). I mean, honestly.

Kim Kirk

I purchased this perfume again. I had it about 10 or 12 years ago and loved it. So, I thought everything would be the same. Either my smeller has changed or the perfume has changed. I recall a deeper, heavier scent. What I have now is something more floral. I didn't research the perfume here before I purchased it. I see others saying it's different now. And the longevity of the scent is pretty much nil. I'm sad that the perfume has changed. I'll use my bottle but probably won't purchase it again.

UPDATE 1-12-2022: I've been trying to wear this perfume today. Note "trying". I've reapplied it 5 times today. It's just "poof!" and it's gone. Definitely won't purchase it again. So disappointing when the makers change a formulation.

amberwaves

This is the kind of scent I should be head over heels for, I love warm spicy scents and i’ve been on the hunt for something that showcases white chocolate, a smell I particularly like. There is however something slightly off about this to me. Something about the combination of the two that misses the mark.

forgive the pun but I believe it boils down to temperature. These ingredients would be divine melting together in a hot mug, but out of a cool glass bottle they fall a little flat. The milkiness in the base dilutes the spiciness and stifles the warmth, which much of the character of this scent depends on to work. The end result is an indulgent treat that’s been left out a little too long. A tepid latte, or runny ice cream.

The orange and ginger are shy on me, almost to the point of absence. Like a twist of orange peel hooked on the rim of a glass. Cinnamon is shoulder to shoulder with the masala chai and white chocolate but feels damp and a little dull. sandalwood is also quite prominent but the way it blends with the spices feels a bit muddy, they don’t really set each other off here like In other fragrances where they bring each other to life. Maybe if the pepper came through on my skin a bit more? I can’t stop feeling like there just isn’t enough heat here. Instead of warm spicy I’m getting lukewarm spicy.

Perhaps it was my expectations being too high but while this isn't necessarily bad, I can’t shake the feeling of this being like a warm treat that just doesn't hit the spot. hot chocolate that’s a little too watery, coffee with almond milk when you wanted full cream, or as I mentioned before, a chai latte that’s going cold.

I still love white chocolate as a note but the way it's used here just isn’t what I'm looking for and I feel the fragrance as a whole suffers for it. it's not quite what I wish it was or think it could be. there's definite potential here to be an interesting and lovable scent and maybe that's what frustrates me the most. that ultimately it's just kind of...meh. honestly when i wear it, finding myself constantly wishing it was more than it is makes me get a bit sick of it.

the scent itself aside, it performs fine in terms of longevity and projection. it's pretty average on both counts. i would say it's not a safe blind buy because it doesn't really live up to its own description. the list of notes may tell a certain story but it's not really the story that comes out of the bottle. speaking of which i am not a fan of the bottle design, not just because of how it looks but it actually impacts its function. it's impractical and makes for inconsistent application and since it has no lid and such a large area of the bottle functions as the sprayer it's not bag or travel friendly.
personally speaking i find this product as a whole to be a swing and a miss. if any of my friends try it and like it, it's theirs.

Stoicchild

This smells classy but I stopped buying Bvlgari perfumes due to it's poor performance!

mirrorghost

this starts with a soapy orange? reading reviews below it seems it may have been reformulated, but i have no idea. i get some woods and spices later but this is primarily a soapy orange floral on me. ok but not what i was expecting. perhaps my skin just doesn't showcase a lot of the notes? i will have to try it again later and see if it changes.

brionica1013

There are supposed to be all those lovely spices in this, but I can't detect them, or much of anything at all. Sniffing deeply, there IS...something. Is it sweetness? Woods? Floral? It's a phantom, it's the ghost of perfume past, and it's here to show you your deep disappointment if you buy this without testing it first.

Eternity Girl

So sad to read that the now easily available Omnia, after being discontinued, is a weak dud.
Omnia in its original creation is exquisite. A delicate chai tea beauty. Oriental in its subtle expression. A truely beautiful creation.
Ive got 2 x 65ml's in boxed cellophane I purchased years ago.
Why does the world sell out beauty for an easy buck $$$. Its not only disappointing, its completely unnecessary and pointless.

nnsimas

I really wanted to love it but it was just too spicy/woody for my taste. Maybe I'll try Coral instead!

Wakeful Bird

The only reason I didn't immediately wash this off myself is that I wanted to give the drydown a fair chance before writing a review. I love the concept of this perfume, and I'd love to try the original version, since a lot of reviewers are suggesting that it's been reformulated. As for my sample: On one hand, it feels like something is missing -- it's like drinking a hot cup of what's supposed to be masala chai, and it definitely includes cardamom and perhaps some milk, but the rest of the ingredients were left out by mistake ... it's just weakly flavored water. On the other hand, where there should be some sort of black tea note, there's instead a STRONG musk that overpowers any feeling of delicacy. Sometimes I like musk (and By Kilian Love Don't Be Shy is an example of how it can work nicely in a gourmand, albeit a totally different type of gourmand); at times I get a little tired of encountering the note. But this musk, to me, is actively off-putting. Like I'm drinking my hot pseudo-chai out of an alarmingly off-gassing cheap Tupperware container -- maybe not exactly that smell, but that feeling of ingesting something toxic. The drydown is more of the same, just fainter (it all fades quickly). I'll have to keep hunting for a chai scent ...

zelelipe

I used to always smell this at airports when I was in my teens and couldn't afford a bottle. I would never have guessed what the notes were from the scent because it is extremely well blended. To my nose it is a simple, light, clean, lightly spicy floral which has a lot of warmth from the chocolate and cinnamon. It is beautiful and does have a reasonable projection but it is not long lasting and the performance is not the best. There is a certain Bvlgari DNA that this has which is instantly recognisable, but this doesn't smell exactly like any other perfume I have ever known.

I had to buy this before it became impossible to find and I am really happy I did but WTF is with the bottle? It seemed cute when it came out in '03 I guess but it's not my thing now. It's awkward to use and you can't travel with it because there is no way to close the sprayer. It also looks awkward with other bottles!

jesleedee

i just received this from an online order and i either got an inauthentic, watered down version or they changed this scent. it's not nearly what it was when i wore it for years before they discontinued it :( so disappointed that it's not the same. i wonder if they sold the rights to it or something.

Bajar

Please explain this paradox to me. How is it possible for someone who can't stand sandalwood, cardamom, almond and ginger notes in a perfume to fall madly in love with this precious juice at the very first spray she had back in 2003 and never had a change of mind since then?
Oh, sorry, I just remembered the key words; Alberto Morillas! Well now that makes sense!

parfum arthur

My signature for school when I was 14. I was hooked! And the body lotion with the silver screw cap lid... smelt even better. My friends would have an ‘Oliver twist’ moment for just a fingertip size of lotion whenever I brought it out.

I was so young that I couldn’t detail the exact notes but I remember this being so warm, inviting, creamy, milky tea-like scent that encapsulated my entire body.

Why oh why, oh why would you discontinue this? *teardrops * The reformulated bears not even a teeny resemblance. The reformulation goes down as one of the tragedies of 21st century perfumery.

Missholypanic

I love it! It is spicy, creamy, I get a warm and soft feeling but still a bit mysterious thanks to the spices. On my skin I can definitely sense the chocolate. It feels like a cozy, comforting hug. I wish the longevity was better though.

cocomademoisellerie

This is my summer-gourmand tea scent. It is precious to me since 2003, when I was an early teen - it felt very mature to me back then. It grew with me. I still love it for the kardamom-tea-spices mix, so sweet and warm, but longevity and sillage are a joke and make it only appropriate for the summer times. Luckily it is still easy to get and not expensive so I adjusted to this being only a scent for the warmer months, that you can use light-handedly and enjoy . I would love to have a more potent version of this for the cooler times of the year, tried Lumiere Blanche for that matter, but nah, doesnt do it for me. The purple Jacomo comes close to it, but it has an uncomfortale plasticky staleness to it, so I cant wear that either.
Omnia is like a lover, that you like so so much, but at the same time you are so sure that he/she will never be everything for you. But we have made it quite far and sometimes, friendship can get very close to love.

jemly

my first trip to nyc, a year before i moved there, summer 2003. i was walking through bloomingdales and they were spraying omnia at the counter. i instantly fell in love, couldn't get omnia off my mind, and returned a few days later to purchase. in fact, the first fragrance i ever purchased. and as with so many firsts, i've never forgotten her. it's always been about that ginger-cardamom-tea combo for me, and indeed was quite formative as ever since so many of my favorites contain these notes as well as the pepper and saffron. white chocolate is the note from left field, and while it's absolutely present, the spices darken up the cream and it never comes off as too overtly gourmand to my nose. over quarantine i finally repurchased a bottle for that familiar nostalgic comfort so many of us were in need of. is she a watered down version of her former glory ? yes, and that breaks my heart. she and her lovers deserve better. but her essence is still there at least (really!) and i'm relieved to at least have that........

RandomPatterned

Nov 2022 - Coming back to say this is now a solid comforting easy reach fragrance for me.
It's one of the few perfumes I can apply without hesitation when I have a migraine or sinus headache. I might try find a vintage version based on other comments here.

Sort of a creamy and barely spicy gourmand with some fruit and a tiny bit of floral. I can't isolate any particular notes, just an overall sense of the blending of the middle and base notes. I wish I could get more of the pepper and ginger. I don't have an adjective to describe - smells nice. I'm sure this is well crafted but it has almost zero lasting power.

deedee31

I've just blind bought this and I still can't believe what I smell. According to the batch code, my bottle is from 2015 (21F15B2R). If I look at the notes, I kind of get how this can be interpreted as chai spices and tea, but to me, it just smells strongly as dentist latex gloves (that citrusy chemical dusty smell - ewrk). First I thought maybe it was my skin chemistry, but then I tried on clothes and on paper, and I still get this very sour citrus latex dentist gloves scent. Does anyone experiences the same ? The very first spray was very reminiscent of Omnia Crystalline, but then all the subsequent sprays were straight "dentist latex gloves". The bottle was a brand new in cellophane, from a trusted retailer, I don't think I got a fake, but maybe that fragrance didn't age well... Or is it what it's supposed to smell ? It's very disappointing because I can "almost" smell the creaminess but everytime it's overpowered by this latex glove smell, I can't help but thinking about being at the dentist's chair when I smell this (and of course you can imagine it's not a pleasant memory...)

LZed

This was a huge disappointment. Based on the notes list, I was expecting a sweeter creamier cumin-less Kenzo Jungle L’elephant but there’s no comparison. I get more of a delicate woodsy floral with some aromatic spice notes that sit very close to the skin. The performance is completely underwhelming even on paper — it’s a vague, ghostlike scent that doesn’t leave an impression. Conceptually, it looks wonderful but so far from that — and so faint — that I wondered if my bottle or batch (10F8281R) was a dud. But I kept trying and realized it’s probably me and some kind of anosmia because some days it does sort of show up and some days... nothing.

GabrielleeeeeW

I picked this up purely for the chai tea note and was not disappointed at all. I was drinking a chai tea latte while testing this for the first time and this perfume is on point! Very spicy, I get the cardamom strong in the opening. I don't get a lot of sweetness in this one, I agree with one of the below reviews about being an unsweet chai. It's too bad this one is a skin scent because it's really lovely. Lasts a decent amount of time.

echurch1979

Yep, I'm going to say it - this was a huge disappointment to me. To see the list of the ingredients, I couldn't help get excited. I.Love.Spicy! I can take large cerebral concepts and complex heady profiles, and digest them into meaningful moments, and tender tales. Chai tea, and an entire spice shelf, should lend to something grandiose, enticing, maybe a touch erotic. However, and on my second bottle simply because I couldn't believe it so, it is largely pedestrian, and unmovingly underwhelming. I suppose that could mean I'm a bit anosmic to it, or maybe I just expected more performance with the loud notes listed. Instead of confident, booming spices, we get the yawn after a Starbucks Chai. There really aren't any obvious notes, and everything's homogenized - a distinct cosmetic odor. There is also something about it that smells like the mall, whatever mall in any city, they all smell the same in America. Its right down the middle of the rode to lack-luster expanses and wasted money. I really tried to like this, but for me ultimately, it was a dud.

IndiePenScent

On my skin this is a warm unsweetened chai, the saffron and almond keeping everything calm and creamy. I get zero sweetness, which is bizarre for my skin chemistry. For all the spices in there it really presents itself as if carried on a lazy curl of steam, something to hold in your hands and sip quietly, savoring how gently it warms you from the inside out. Projection for me was limited to personal space, but the spices do leave a faint trail. Linear dry down for me.

Almost forgot to mention: I love layering this with a good convincing rose perfume oil to give the rose a bruised, melancholy quality.

middle25

This has so many notes that I can't detect on their own. Very pretty and warm, maybe I get the chai tea, saffron, and nutmeg, a little cardamom. It's a bit spicy but not too much. It's sweet, but not a sugary sweetness, I can't put my finger on it. Maybe it's the white chocolate in the base with the sandalwood and tonka. Omnia is different from any other perfumes I have. I have no other Omnia's and the only Bvlgari I own is Black. I think it's really well-crafted, I like Alberto Morillas creations. I wish it projected a little more, but that's my only complaint.

TrickyPine

Omnia is a very creamy fragrance. Yes it has the spices which adds a little complexity to the idea of 'oriental' fragrances. It's a very subtle spice, not as strong as Dior Addict in terms of their range of 'spice level'. But this isn't a ginger/spice-bomb. It has a bitter undertone which is balanced with a lovely blend of creamy tonka and smooth white chocolate. Not an overly loud fragrance, but leaves a good sillage. Comforting is the best word to describe this scent. Spray this on when it's raining with a cup of coffee/tea, you won't be disappointed.

lavender_wind.

Kinda musky, kinda spicy (ginger and cardomon), and very smooth (chai, sandalwood and chocolate). This scent wears like a mysterious musky scent... Like second skin but with a character: sultry, understated, and exotic... from the Indian continent maybe?

Very enjoyable and I'm glad to own my bottle :)

ps. Yes it is a little light but I find the lightness adds an illusive charm to this classic fragrance.

marios2014

Its a nice perfume ,light and airy !I was wearing it at day in the office and i was getting many compliments !the bad is, it finished very soon because i was overspraying it..When i got versace crystal noir and spray it i was shocked!it smells exactly the same with the difference that omnia dries down more as tsai masala instead of crystal noir has a coconuty finish.

karlee79

This is almost an exact dupe for Pinrose Guilded Fox , I mix mine with a chocolate perfume and 7 virtues vanilla and omg the dream perfume

Wwoman

It is really a pretty fragrance but it's sooooo light. I have to put my nose to my skin to smell it. If you like spicy but most spicy fragrances are overwhelming to you, this could be a good option. For me, I need more sillage and lasting power.

Milena Milivojevic

This has been my signature scent for years (until I have discovered Nomade Absolu). I would never leave it, Bvlgari Omnia is me and it will always be my top favorite, nothing can replace it. The only reason I have searched for something else is poor longevity and projection. If they could make the same fragrance but an intense version - I would be the most loyal fan. If I leave the longevity and projection aside, for me, this is the most perfect fragrance in the universe.

matty64

The original formula was the best in the entire line of Omnia!

Vanilla panda

Follow-up on my original review from 09FEB19: no matter what, same experience as brieks07's 😭.
No chai, no milk, no white chocolate. Only harsh pepper, cheap perfumey cardamom and some sort of pissy citrics that sting my eyes.

Seems like I got a dud or an old bottle that went sour - thanks UnearthlyApothecary for your explanations.

Since then, I got a sample of Remember Me from Jovoy Paris and it almost fulfills my comforting chai latte fancies.

marmalady

I have to agree with CaitlinBlair below, this is a sandalwood and musk bomb. Spices? Where? I vaguely smell cardamom the first several minutes after spraying, but after that it's all sandalwood for about 30 min, then the musk is all I can detect. It's not even a nice musk, it's just kind of a wimpy lady musk generic smell. I am longing for the chai tea note because that kind of scent is my everything, but alas is definitely not here. I don't know if reformulation is the culprit, I haven't smelled any other version, but this is a huge disappointment. It reminds me of a very, very, sheer version of Maison Marie-Louis Bois de Ballincourt which is all about sandalwood, no spices to be had.

Swedelish

Conspiracy theory: Omnia is still in production... For the Grey market. I always wondered how such a well loved discontinued perfume could continue to be so widely available and consistently reasonably priced for so many years. If nothing else it's an anomoly. I've seen bottles online with 2019 batch codes (if the Raider's of the Lost Scent's breakdown of how to decipher Bvlgari codes is accurate). I don't know if it's a thing for companies to make perfumes solely for the sub-retail market. Nevertheless, it's just my conspiracy theory.

I have an old bottle and a newer one and they smell equally good. The older one is ever so slightly more creamy and spicy and the new one brighter. Both the same Omnia edp, but I can see how this formula would possibly not age well over the span of many years.

I will always love this. I love everything tea and cardamom and it really does conjure an image of Chai latte. Not hot chai, maybe an iced one. My only personal problem is I've worn so much of it over the years that I'm tired of it. Currently I'm more in love with Green Jade and Amethyste. I've even warmed to Coral. These are great perfumes from Bvlgari. I'd love for them to do a violet or fig Omnia in the future.

supersaiyan

Such a lovely masala chai scent, milky and slightly sweet with the spices blended in smoothly. Ginger tends to pull fresh and zingy on me, but not this one, it's a warm and comforting ginger spice. I love it, save for the awful nozzle. I always miss my first (and second, and third...) spritz of this juice because I can't aim the damn nozzle properly!

EDIT: This is literally the daytime version of TF Noir Extreme! It's lightened up and more casual.

CaitlinBlair

Wait a minute... are you telling me in all seriousness that this fragrance does not contain musk? HOW? Bvlgari Omnia was at the top of my list for fall scents for a couple of years based on all of the rave reviews here and I finally decided to try it. I expected to get a blast of heavenly chai tea and fall spices rounded out with white chocolate and tonka bean. That is absolutely not what I got with this fragrance. Sprayed on both my skin and on paper, this fragrance is VERY heavy on the sandalwood and what I SWEAR is musk. I have always been very sensitive to musks as they can trigger headaches for me, and I smelled it in this fragrance immediately. The chai tea note is there, but it is very faint and brief. It is too smothered by the sandalwood to shine through.

Bvlgari has re-released Omnia and what I tested was a brand new bottle, so it is possible that it has been reformulated and the note breakdown may be a little different now. Whether I am right or wrong about detecting musk, this fragrance is not at all a fall gourmand, for me personally. It is not delicious or comforting or sexy. It's a powerful sandalwood and musk bomb, in the likes of Estee Lauder Sensuous Nude or Raw Spirit Fragrances Desert Musk. Just, no.

If you want true fall, spicy goodness, I would recommend Jo Malone Ginger Biscuit or even Kenzo Jungle L'Elephant.

katariina9

The initial Omnia has held the place as a fall scent on my shelves pretty steadily throughout many years and whilst living on 2 continents. Have been hunting it down from eBay lately, therefore i feel a huge relief its officially back as I've never got on with the Omnia flankers that followed this.

The scent itself seems to be unchanged, the longevity has always left somewhat to be desired, but the sillage is moderate. It's the scent to be worn mainly for your own pleasure. But what a pleasure it is... Comforting, warm, cuddly cinnamon chai with almond milk and a slight sprinkling of nutmeg, cardamom and candied ginger. there is some praline sweetness, musk base and creaminess from tonka. But its not a sweet scent. Instead its very elegant, supremely balanced, light and airy.

Having used quite a few unisex tea scents lately, Omnia smells more parfumey in comparison. Mainly due to a floral note that I can't place, and slight soapiness that enters after initial spray. There is no rose listed, yet the composition reminds me a particular type of rose masala chai I once brought back from India.

I wouldn't recommend it as a chocolate scent or for die-hard vanilla lovers, you may be disappointed. Omnia may be too spicy for chocolate lovers and not sweet enough for vanilla-fans, but it is on its own way bordering gourmand, at least on my skin. For longevity, and since its now back, i'll spray liberally on my clothes and rely on Omnia to help me through the damp and windy season with its gorgeous warm cuddle.

EDIT 18/09/20: based on what Swedelish indicates above, and because I'm surprised there are reviews about Omnia being too peppery or overwhelmingly musky, I double checked my patch nr and its Nov 2015. The one i've in use was brand new and boxed, so its certainly in good shape, hope that so are the backups bought on the same go.

carolinencarter

I loved this fragrance years ago, I eventually just stopped wearing it when my bottle ran out, and then it got discontinued.
When I saw it available online again years later I bought a bottle excited to wear it... Except, did it always smell like this? I don't remember the weird bug spray notes and cheap waxy vanilla candle smell. Its a total scrubber for me now and I don't understand why. The box was unopened when it arrived, I can't imagine that it is a knock off version.
Was it reformulated? Was it always bad? It's such a shame.

Samanthajc1

This is one of my top fragrances. I’ve been wearing it since I was 17 and I still love it! I don’t understand why they discontinued it. Please bring it back!

paryapg

I have a 65ml bottle that I'd like to swap. It smells delicious but doesn't last long enough on my skin.

ChrisGranville

This was my first Omnia back in the day when Bvlgari first released it. Even though it used to disappear from my skin after 1-2 hours, I kept buying it, because I loved the scent and I very rarely like scents (most give me headaches or make me nauseous). Then they discontinued it, so I switched to Omnia Crystalline and wore it for years. I am so happy to see that the original Omnia is back!

Eternity Girl

For people wondering if this is/was discontinued......It WAS discontinued for years but then it came back into production. Lucky us because its gorgeous.
A true spice fragrance. This one was the very first of Bvlgari's Omnia line. Delicate but comforting, a very charming fragrance.

Jmalone84

I must get more back ups of this because I never want to be without it. Lends a delicious aura of chai, cardomom, cinnamon, saffron, with some creaminess, woods and a touch of floral and citrus. It’s fresh but warming and calming and addictive all at the same time. When I think about it, this fragrance has definitely inspired a big chunk of my olfactory preferences. It smells just like the best notes out of a chai tea that you brew yourself from scratch. What a beautiful aromatic spicy gorgeous concoction. But also quite light and subtle. I’m wearing it to bed this evening and falling in love all over again.

UnearthlyApothecary

@brieks07 sharp and sour is NOT normal, you got a bad bottle. The first bottle of this I ever bought was on eBay and it was also rotten. Sharp sour alcohol was exactly what I got, It’s a wonder I was willing to try it again after that lol I would never recommend buying an old bottle of this. Perhaps if it was sealed in the box and stored properly. I just bought one on fragrancenet brand new. That’s where I would recommend buying it. I keep hearing this is discontinued but they are still selling it there... maybe it has come back into production? Anyway, I absolutely love Omnia, it’s not a screamer. If you’re looking for loud in your face spice, I suggest Kenzo Jungle L’Elephant. Or an old school spicy powerhouse like Opium. Omnia is the cozy/bedtime comfort scent for the spice lover. It’s soft and milky and creamy. It’s a chai latte sprinkled with black pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon and then stirred with a stick of sandalwood. Although it’s soft, I have consistently gotten amazing longevity with my perfume eating skin. I love this one and will always keep a bottle near at hand.

LB152

I just received a blind-bought 1.35ml bottle that’s up for sale at $25 plus $4 shipping. I only spritzed it once before realizing it’s not my style. Please message me, if interested.

brieks07

I love chai -- all its lovely spices are heavenly to my nose, but Bvlgari Omnia sadly smells nothing like it to me.
Overwhelming blast of alcohol and black pepper. Harsh and biting, sharp and unpleasant. I wish some of the warmer spices would shine through. This fragrance desperately needs some creamy sweetness - not too much, just enough to soften the scent. The white chocolate note listed would be perfect! Alas, it is altogether absent for me - along with all the other warm and comforting spices that I love. This perfume smells nothing like the notes listed. What happened??! Maybe I got a bad one...? My nose is still stinging.

Swedelish

I've gone through 3 and on my 4th bottle. I've never tired of it and it remains unique to anything else I've tried. It's not weak. More like whispy and airy. It flows with you rather than lay on top of you. Although it's been discontinued years, there seems to be no shortage of bottles online yet. I have a thought that they wouldn't have discontinued it had there not been good reason to; ie, crackdowns on ingredients at the time making reformulation difficult or impossible. Just speculation though. I wouldn't change anything thing about it.

dessybg

Уникален, незабравим аромат с богат и балансиран състав.

Flacon-de-Bonheur

Just found this at Marshall's yesterday. This is totally old school and special. Very woody, no sweetness on me. So, so unique ! Instant love. Will try to track down a back up bottle as this has been discontinued for a while now.

Jazieboo7410

This is a gem! For those of you looking for a sensual, slightly sweet, intoxicating skin scent, this is it!!!

Omnia is beautiful. This fragrance reminds me so much of my mom who wears Lacoste pour femme. Omnia and Lacoste smell basically identical to my nose. I adore them both. I can best describe the scent of omnia as someone who has just showered and they come out of the hot steamy room exuding this natural alluring scent that doesn’t really smell like a perfume. It just smells like a heavenly natural body scent. I see omnia working for everyone. Definitely try it.

Longevity on myself has been great. I get an all day wear out of this bad boy

JustSimpleThings

This is very milky! It truly smells like a Starbucks chai latte (minus any tea notes). Out of the spices, the cardamom stands out the most, although all the spices are well-blended, very harmonious.
Nice, but a bit too sweet for my taste.

sitirachmiwulandari

Travel back to my freshman year. A friend was wearing this and after asking what she's wearing, I used my allowance to buy this perfume and I didn't regret it. Omnia became my signature scent for about 11 years. Though Bvlgari discontinue it, I'm still loving its flankers. The original Omnia was love at a first smell and this is the most clean, soft and feminine among the lines. It is very inoffensive, warm and a little bit spicy. I fell in love with the dry down, i felt soft musky and suprised after checking fragrantica that there is no musk in the notes.

BBarragan

For a reasonable price, Zulily sells this.

masako_30

Omnia, that kindly spicy I absolutely must obtain.
I would like to fully enjoy it without the black shadow of its discontinuation, as I'm sipping every single drop of my last sample, even more pleasant with high temperatures.
Super.
Omnia, the mutant. It changes its skin with climate, the cold months don't do it justice.
Although I always expect to have on its white chocolate, maybe plunged into this mixed spicy tea, even today it does not emerge, hardly believe it being a note. Today it's completely nutmeg, saffron and some cloves, an idyll.

Tamago37

Why did they discontinue this? It's spicy but not nauseating, warm but not suffocating. And the beautiful mahogany bottle is so pretty. It's not too masculine for a woman to wear, but a man could definitely pull this off. Maybe a man who unironically wears turtlenecks with suits, like Jeff Goldblum...

Jmalone84

This is just so good. I bought it on the cheap, it was the last bottle. So underrated. It smells exactly like what I wanted. So warm and spicy yet clean. Ginger, cardomom pepper and this wonderful sweet/ aromatic quality. Tonka or chocolate very present in the beginning. Dries down to a nice dusty cinammon.
I wish it was stronger. I feel my 40mL bottle will be used up quickly as I will drench myself in it and not get sick of it. Very rarely is the imagination satisfied and this is exactly how I wanted it to smell. Definitely signature material for me.

Bubbles1964

This original Omnia is my favorite but I’m still having issues with the Bvlgari Omnia line. I’ve tested three others, and I have not found one that I wanted to own.

Someone below compares it to Serge Luten’s Feminite Du Bois, a perfume I wore for many years and love. I am going to offer a contradiction to that opinion, as this is nothing like the complex, warm oriental of FdB. On me this is a watery, thin veil of synthetic spices. I don’t pick up chai tea either, in fact the opening reminds me of dryer sheets. Once I got that image in my head, it was hard to get past it.

I’ve never experienced a perfume with such an odd and different opening than the drydown. The middle notes did work better on me and I either got used to the synthetic aura, or Omnia mellowed into a more wearable scent. Still a pass for me.

Coquita

Sweet spiciness! I was wary of this one, but as soon as it touched my skin, I loved it. On my skin it starts off as a sweet nutmeg-cardamom combo, then goes through a saffron-mandarin phase, and finally, it ends in a chai-almond-sandalwood scent. This last phase melts beautifully into my skin, it's very creamy and it almost feels as if it was my skin scent (I wish!). To me, it's like the serious sister of Crystal Noir by Versace: attractive, but in an intriguing, non-flirty way. The projection is very discrete, so even if it's really a rich perfume, it's office-friendly. The only downside? It's very short-lived. I applied it about 4 hours ago, and I have to dig my nose in my wrist to get a whiff of this magnificent scent.

10/10

Vanilla panda

Blind buy that was quite hard to find!

I was shocked at its lack of projection, assuming so many warm, spicy notes would leave a heavier sillage.

Good perfume, although it didn't meet my milky masala chai and melted white chocolate expectations.

For the moment, I mostly get cardamom, a perfumey one, not the edible kind.

Once opened, some of my full bottles tend to smell much smoother and better after a few months.

Wait and see then...

Follow-up on my original review from 09FEB19: no matter what, same experience as brieks07's above from March 2020 😭.
No chai, no milk, no white chocolate. Only harsh pepper, cheap perfumey cardamom and some sort of pissy citrics that sting my eyes.

Seems like I got a dud or an old bottle that went sour - thanks UnearthlyApothecary for your explanations.

YuliaM82

They are selling Omnia 1.3oz EDP on Zulily @ $38

Pandarapt

A hot, sweetened and steamed “pick-me-up” of a fragrance for chunky-knit sweater weather and those humdrum days that demand your tea zigzagged with condensed milk, fired by spices and crowned by chocolate shavings. This will make you curl like a filled-belly kitten in a warm corner as it captures into scent the cozy comfort of reading a really good book by the fireplace during a rainy day in autumn, warmed by hot sips of tea here and there, even if you don’t like autumn, or rainy days, or fireplaces, or reading or tea.

Br'eauDeCologne

Relaxed, unisex, inviting and welcoming. Creamy and smooth spicy goodness, great for any occasion.

Worth a try by anyone.

izermeno21

I love love the smell of this perfume , it reminds me of Versace eros toilette. Unfortunately it is not long lasting, I sprayed it on me and after two hours I couldn’t smell it anymore :( what a waste for such a beautiful fragrance

Olotitan

OMNIA is a sultry warm sensual fragrance to me it's like a journey to India, unlike anything I've ever tried what a shame they discontinued this beast of a fragrance...

To me this is about Ginger cardamom, masala chai infused
with spices and white chocolate warms up with the nutmeg saffron and cinnamon just beautiful!
Sex in a bottle and a journey to INDIA!

Elisabeth M.

The most 'Indian Summer' radiating perfume I've ever smelled! The well blended spicy notes evoke pictures of turning leaves under warm autumn sunshine. Beautiful!

Lucyana

I agree with AnnabellLee's opinion below, the top and middle notes of all the Omnia fragrances are different but all have the same basis. The original Omnia is spicy in the beginning, smells like chai masala, but ultimately has the same basic notes as the Omnia Crystalline I have. At the base, you can not distinguish them. However, it is a wonderful fragrance and is on the list of perfumes I want.
Very good longevity but delicate sillage.

rickyfreaky13

Find this in local store, it still has a lot stocks of old perfumes. I got a 60ml bottle only for 33bucks, i bought it in a second without smelled it before. And i don't regret it.. The scent is awesome very rich and clean. Why the hell they discontinued all the treasure, like this n BLV Woman. But thank God i still have them.

BluestMonday

After reading so many amazing reviews and seeing this perfume suggested several times under a list of the best creamy/spicy scents, I decided to blind buy a tiny bottle from eBay with high hopes and expectations.

I really thought that this would be my signature scent based on the notes, descriptions, and reviews.

First thoughts? Soapy. Masculine. Medicinal. No detectable creaminess or sweetness anywhere. I totally see where another review felt it smelled like a veterinary hospital. Maybe we both got a bad/expired batch.

I really thought that maybe I was crazy, but my husband said that I smell like axe body spray, so I’m pretty confident in my olfactory assessment of it.

Onto the next...

UPDATE: I can still faintly smell it on my wrists the next day, and it has lost all of its masculine/medicinal qualities, leaving behind a pleasant creamy sweetness, but sits SO close to the skin it is hardly detectable at all!

Stardew77

I don't know if I got a bad batch, but this smells really bad on me.
Almost like a lotion soap smell with little spice.
Sort of milky in a way as well.
It reminds me of a veterinary office, and I can't shake the scent.
I'll try give it another chance.

Sabretoothkitten

I have to add, I think all the Omnias I've smelled have different top and middle notes but the same clean, almost crystal like base notes. Someone asked, just my opinion.

Sabretoothkitten

This is very pretty, not deep or resinous like most orientals, a little spicy but delicately so. I get a chai tea, not milky but more clean. It has the underlying base all the Omnia line have it you're familiar with them, I'm a fan of them and this one is a nice cold weather addition to Omni a Green Jade or Omnia Crystalline.

Midnight Lady

I didn't expect much from this fragrance and I'm really happy I was wrong.

The opening is spicy thanks to ginger and pepper, the scent changes quickly after the drydown into something so comforting and nourishing.

I get lots of milky tea with woodsy notes, sweetened by white chocolate and spiced up by cinnamon. All together The perfume is not heavily sweet at all. It just really makes me sniff my hand all over again.

It's absolutely unique gourmand oriental that is warm, quite deep and also sensual.

I put it on my love list for sure.

Nomorestars

When I relate fragrances to food, some perfumes are like sticky, delectable pastries while others are technical feats of complex gastronomy. Omnia is like a simple, nourishing oatmeal breakfast on a Sunday morning; a breakfast built upon an ascetic base of sandalwood floating in milk, lightly seasoned with sugar and spice and served with tea. It is by no means a powerful or bracing scent and what some may find boring or weak, others will find languorous and relaxed.

PianoDan

KikiLee, right?!?
I guess it does mean everything, haha!

KikiLee

Can anyone explain why Blvgari named so many perfumes Omnia when they are nothing a like?

nx

What a true pleasure it is to wear Omnia. Warm, sweet, milky spices envelop you like a warm blanket in front of a fireplace. It's true that the sillage is mild, but I like to keep this for days in when the weather is cool. Omnia is my sensual little gem that I save for myself and my love, and that makes it even more special than one that I wear out daily.
It will always hold a special spot with me and I will always have a bottle.

shellsybelle

My mother gave me a sample of this perfume when she got given a few samples in with an online auction she had won and I fell in love with it in in an instant. I then realised here in New Zealand it was going to be very difficult for me to find it as it was no longer being sold so when a friend came out from England he asked me what kind of perfume I wanted it had to be this one. Sadly he could not get it either but ended up settling on Bvlgari’s Omnia Coral which is very different to this one. This is the very first Omnia and it’s very sad it’s not around much. To me it reminds me of a delicious cup of Chai tea - Warm, spicy and has all the same ingredients the tea does.

Update

This week my prayer was answered when I saw one bottle in a store and I knew that I would not see it again. It’s the smaller 1.3 oz bottle but it’s ok as I have it until it finishes and maybe by then it might be found again. It’s a must for those who like a bit of spice and all things that are like a good chai. Cardamom is right up there. Delicious!

twillocks

My husband NEVER NEVER NEVER says anything about the perfume I wear till I put this on one afternoon. He was like a school boy again LOL. So I am getting another bottle ;-)

nordhaul

Exactly what people say, the scent is practically if not literally NON EXISTENT! Which oddly, I find, to be part of the charm! But at the same time, need to take off points. Other than this this'd be the ideal scent, or maybe, BECAUSE of this ;). It's autumn and I wear this everywhere for everything. Including Human Anatomy & Physiology class and LAB in which my usual Chanels and Chantecailles would probably be too much for. The plan is to run out this semester, before winter, and then never repurchase.

AnitaHendricks

Many warm perfumes are a little old fashioned. This one is very modern! It's young but comforting at the same time like a hip coffee shop would be. There's a creamyness in the background and I love how the spices mix together. It reminds me of Indian sweets in a good way. This scent makes me want to hug people and invite them over. The notes don't blend into the scent of my skin but they don't need to. They're wonderful the way they are.

Carrieberry

Spicy, warm and fresh at the same time. This seems to be the perfect autumn day scent. However it is very weak and disappears from clothes and skin within 2 hours. Need to spray alot to get any sort of effect.
My bottle is the November 2015 batch, the one you can find in limited quantities online for ridiculous prices. This would be a love for me if it had lasting power. I usually like fragrances other people call weak, but this is literally non-existing, like an eau de cologne. Sad, since it is a truly unique scent.

As for the Omnia bottles, while slightly clumsy I find them to be beautiful.

Ocd scents

I don't mean to offend those who are fans of this perfume, but the first thought that came to my mind on spraying it was cat pee. Maybe we're just not compatible. Luckily the scent only lasts for about 15 minutes and then it's gone. I'm glad I got a sample before deciding to get a bottle. This is a no go for me, and I really wanted to love it, the notes on here are so me. Dissapointed.

UnearthlyApothecary

This is a beauty! My favorite scents are exotic, perfumes that can transport me to a far away exotic land with one whiff. My other favorite type of scent, is a warm, cozy security blanket that envelops and comforts me. Omnia is the best of both worlds it's full of all my very favorite exotic notes (cardamom, cinnamon, saffron, ginger, nutmeg) yet has many of my favorite "comfort" notes as well (sandal, tonka, almond) so Omnia has the distinction of being exotic AND comforting. I absolutely adore it, the only downside is that it is very low silage and skin close :(

ballerina77

This is the kind of fragrance that can lead me to a million memories. When Bulgari released it, I was living abroad for the first year, and my mom gave it to me as a gift when she came to visit me. It made me so so happy! I was a teenager that time, and I must admit that this is definitely not a teen fragrance, but I was crazy about perfumes already. I remember going into this small fragrance store after school, which was near my house, and asking the saleswoman to spray a little bit on my wrist so I could smell it through the whole day. I loved the scent. It is light, but different from everything I have today - and fortunately I found one, which is actually a tester, but still 65ml full for my delight! It has a very delicate citrusy note and it evolves to the same scent but mixed with incense - not smoky, never!- and somewhat spicy. I smell ginger and cinnamon in the middle notes. Then I can smell nutmeg and sandalwood, and also, lemon until it wears off. For sure a fragrance I wear to make myself happy, it takes me back to my teen years and how ecstatic I felt the day my mom gave me one...It was discontinued but you can find some in tester bottles yet. Soft silage, it lasts for 8h on my skin. Lovely and remarkable fragrance. Nothing alike the other Omnias- to me this will always be the 'real' one.

shannis75

An addition to my review below:

My only gripes are the following:
Even though my skin usually amps up perfume, Omnia's sillage is soft and the longevity is only moderate (4-6 hours, instead of the usual 8-12+). If your skin eats up fragrance, be warned that on you Omnia could disappear in a flash.

Also, the bottle is terrible. It's clunky, the spray mechanism is unreliable and unpredictable (sometimes it drizzles, sometimes it sprays), and hard to aim. It has no cap so I'm afraid the perfume will oxidize or evaporate.

Furthermore, the bottle was dated and ugly even when they launched it. I remember seeing it in the stores and categorically dismissing it because of the unappealing bottle.

The juice is beautiful, the bottle not so much.

shannis75

A quiet, herbal/spicy, woody oriental, not overpowering or gourmandy at all, despite the notes.

There's a fleeting flash of mandarin at the top, and the mid notes are fennel flower* and cardamom, with a hint of pepper and saffron. The base is lactonic sandalwood, very creamy and soft.

Like others have already stated, Omnia doesn't really smell like chai, rather than an abstract concept of chai, and the white chocolate is also stylized rather than realistic. Since I'm not a big fan of gourmands, I like the conceptual versions better than realistic ones, but YMMV.

If Omnia agrees with your skin chemistry, it's an easily wearable and comforting daytime fragrance. It doesn't smell particularily "feminine" or "masculine", so I'd imagine people of all genders could wear this comfortably.

A solid like, bordering on love.
4/5 stars.

*I know fennel is not in the official description, but the note is unmistakeable... and quite lovely.

Lockon

Sweet and inviting.
Will be getting her another.
I don't care if she likes it or not.
I love it on her.
It reminds me of something from the past.
But i can't remember what.
2.2 Oz Bottle for $40...
Would buy another whenever she need it.
Sillage is about a foot away and last nine hours on her.
Four sprays.

nebbe

I've tried this a few times and it doesn't sing for me, sadly. It is musky, lightly spicy, yes, but it also fell flat quickly and faded away within an hour. Ymmv, I hope it does!

Black_Swan

Totally agree with hollycat below. This is a supremely excellent fragrance and I'm shocked that it hasn't been more popular (well, I guess I shouldn't be, seeing the state of the fragrance industry currently). There's nothing else out there like it that I've found and I'm so glad I have a bottle of it. I think maybe it got lost in all the ridiculous flankers (I hate flankers - good scents should stand alone). I have tried Serge Lutens Feminite du Bois and found that it pales in comparison (maybe the Shisheido version was better). You must experience this before it disappears forever. Warm, spicy, just slightly sweet, comfy, inviting without being loud or obnoxious. Feels like sitting by a fire sipping a glass of wine or hot cocoa in your favorite comfy sweater and your favorite person sitting next to you. It's that good.

teapeach

This is a warm and charismatic fragrance, rich in spices with a creamy white chocolate dry down. Spicey but not bitter, nor overly sweet. I really like this one! It's something I feel I can wear at anytime, in most situations, possibly more so in the winter and fall.

hollycat

When I see scents like this get discontinued I'm reminded of how the vast majority of people don't know a good perfume if it slapped them in the face.

Omnia is a rare beauty in designer perfumery. It's rare in that it cant be compared with any other designer scent. Although I'm sure there are some niches that you can liken this to. Someone on makeupalley mentioned Serge Lutens Feminite Du Bois.

Omnia for me is so cozy and comforting. Its an oriental, spicy, woody, scent, with some gourmand qualities like milky white chocolate. The saffron gives it a slightly fresh feeling, while the other spices warm it up, and the ginger wakes it all up. And then the drydown of sandalwood, and white chocolate is so delicious and grounding. Just so satisfying.

Another fragrance from my past that I need to make a permanent home in my wardrobe.

MsFCAS

This was my "signature scent" for a couple of years when it was first released. None of the subsequent flankers compare, in my opinion. The shower gel was particularly lovely and I would have used it by the gallon if it weren't so expensive.

These days my scent tastes are broader but I'm wearing Omnia this morning. It's a cozy warm morning in my house and it's raining outside. Perfect.

It also makes a really nice layering base.

mudpach

Hello every Omnia lovers! I think this beauty come back to the place! I bought it yesterday, and in my country we can find some perfume shop (overpriced). By My item's code this stuff made in Nov. 2015.

Equestre

I wanted this for so long, and was overjoyed to suddenly find it stocked at a large chemist this year. It's like sticky, spicy candied oranges without being sickly sweet. Amazing in the Australian summer, the heat really makes it sparkle, and I feel like I've just stepped out of the shower because it has that freshness. My only wish is that it could be stronger and last longer!

Classypress

Another gift. I enjoyed it, but wouldn't buy it again. Way too light for me.

Buckeye

Smells really nice, but it has a weak performance. Projection is also weak.

RapidScent

I think it's back in production. Your prayers have been answered. Hurry before it's gone again.

Daddario

Is it back in production? Czech internet perfume stores are suddenly swarming with Omnia for a price of Chanel...

Madrona

I have procured a mini that checkcosmetic says is from 2003, so the same year it came out. Soapy spice, definitely not spicy enough to warrant being called masala chai (maybe the spiciness has gotten the edge taken off with time?). Less sweet than I expected. Absolutely no white chocolate anywhere on me, but ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, sandalwood and nutmeg for sure. I had higher hopes for this one, to be honest.

Zsuzsanna

Well, I have just bought a bottle of Omnia of 2015 production. It says on the box "It may only be sold by authorized dealers".

(A review originally posted on MakeupAlley in 2005, I wanted to re-post it here now because I do not use MakeupAlley anymore [but have many fond memories of using it] and I am trying to get back into writing reviews, using old 'work' as inspiration...):A sweet, unusual, pungent incense scent. It becomes more fruity and woodsy as it settles on my skin. I agree with the reviewer below that it is somewhat of a skin scent, and the only drawback is that it seems that you need a lot of it to be able to smell it and that the lasting power could be questionable. That said, I get the feeling that the sillage could be interesting, and spritzed on fabric, scarves, clothes it could provide an intriguing wake. A little simple for my taste, and I would go with YSL Nu for a more complex incense scent, but nevertheless I find it noteworthy.

Arabian Knight

Let's get one thing straight: Omnia does NOT smell anything like chai tea. Anyone who says it does has clearly never tasted or smelled a cup of authentic masala chai. Omnia has none of the aromatic spiciness, and completely lacks the warm, sweet creaminess of the real deal.

I had read the note list here, along with the indulgent reviews and was expecting something gourmand, but alas was disappointed. That said, it is still a nice perfume, just don't expect cinnamon, clove, sandal or white chocolate to feature prominently at all.

The first spray is cool, lively and fresh; A transparent hint of tangerine blends with a watery, vaguely ozonic floral note (lotus). A thin dusting of cold, green spices emerge, in particular cardamom, ginger and black pepper, imparting a clipped, dry, slightly vegetal crispness. There is nothing particularly sweet detectable here, or from any point onward, bar what remains of the watery tangerine.
I don't pick up on the cinnamon, or the almond notes, nor do I get much intensive sparkle from the clove. It's all very understated and minimal.

My nose was hoping to find a hint of white chocolate or sandalwood. While I might admit to smelling a tinge of something milky in the background, I cannot say it resembles anything close to the smell of white chocolate. It's just not sweet or creamy enough to even glance at that association for me.

The watery, peppery freshness persists, gradually getting weaker and weaker, until after just 2 hours, I can only smell it by pressing a forearm to my nose.

Do I enjoy wearing it? I certainly think it's unique in that the freshness is not centered around calone or citrus. It smells clean and mineral like, similar to a foam facial cleanser you'd buy at a spa. It's rather innocuous to be honest; Doesn't excite me or make me feel "delicious" as other seem to think, but at least it's easy to wear to work or at the gym.

Just don't be fooled by the 'gourmand' notes, because you will be disappointed.

6opar

Starts citrusy with a mellow spicy breath that is immediately loveable in a delicate feminine way. At the same time this first Omnia provides a fresh and energizing touch that feels masculine.

After that the duality in this composition gets even more evident and this is what makes Omnia interesting and alluring. Yes, it is not loud, it is locked in its quietness. But on the inside it skilfully masters feelings of anxiety (spices), tenderness (flowers), passion(chocolate) and power(wood). I would put sandalwood as the key player here, feminized by the flowers, masculinized by the woods, in this intriguingly spiced up Jekyll-ness.

And in the meantime it is really easy to wear. Now i understand why i had to have this discontinued travesty.

Definitely the best of all the fragrances of Omnia collection launched by Maison Bvlgari. Also agree, comes from the hands of the talented Alberto Morillas creations that have a multitude of houses and all of them Honourable qualities, always with a footprint "morilla" of being, that is, emphatic and nothing simple impressions. Omnia is a different oriental scent of many launched in the outside world, not aggressive, does not humiliate nor bother the smell of this sensitive perfumery viber more dense and opulent. It opens and spicy, with Black Pepper, cardamom, roasted ginger and a plate of fresh saffron, but all properly balanced as to arouse interest to know how this will end. Your heart has more spices like Nutmeg, Cinnamon dry wood, Clove-India and floral touches, which according to Fragrantica database would be the Lotus; It is a perfect match as it comes into line attaches to the independence and fragrance, as well as innovation. For a moment I associate evolution of the medium, the water characteristic smell and dense Aguapé, Murure or Hyacinth Water, which depending on the region is known as one of the names mentioned above, and for those unfamiliar smell in fast words, describe it as a water, dense green smell and burnt / spicy nuances that despite subtle design very well. Finally, its base is a ballet hardwoods that give a unique support the fragrance, to give it visibility and also seriously, as you can tell this facet in an interaction with the warmth of Tonka and charm of sandalwood making it a fragrance, let's say, "perfect embrace." Yes, it is comfortable, despite being oriental, something sublime feeling and let engage. Some people do not speak well of their anchorages and projection, however, in me Omnia fixed for 12 h and designs by 9 am even in the heat, yielding positive praise and perfume questions which seen. I regret that he has been discontinued, it is what counts, but I feel happy to know that I have one for the next seven generations!

Ready for the spice rack?
here you go!

I do really love this, it's not a sexy spice but it is a lovely spice scent.

Chai like because it has all the spices but not particularly milky.
Great winter scent, cuddle up scent.
Yummy.

This was my very first FAVORITE fragrance....not my first fragrance ever, just the first fragrance I felt most strongly for, about 11 years ago.
I used to go around Sephora and smell all the different fragrances they had out. The moment I smelled this one, I had an almost immediate high and just couldn't put down. It was so incredibly intoxicating. I loved it so much that it was the only thing I wore for 3 years.

It happens to go really well with my body chemistry and it brings out warm and boozy notes. Everyone who smells it on me thinks it smells delicious. However, my sister tried it and it smelled HORRIFIC on her. She brought out the spiciest notes in it that I couldn't smell on myself. Obviously don't buy perfumes based on other peoples reviews of them (which is what I often do).

Ever since that moment years ago, I've been on the hunt for something that gives me the same sort of visceral reaction. But I have been unable to find that aha moment with another fragrance that gives me chills and forces me to keep my nose anchored to my wrist all day. But if anyone has any recommendations, I'd be thrilled to hear from you!

margoess

I tend to do ok with perfumes that people criticize for having no sillage or longevity; most things find a way to stick on my skin and be decently worth the time. But Omnia... I have never encountered a perfume that is so hard to smell. I don't think I'm anosmic to any of the notes, since I can technically smell it if I make an effort to sniff my skin--but it's an effort. As soon as I stop consciously trying to smell it or move my arm away from my face, it basically ceases to exist. I've tried wearing it half a dozen times over the past couple of weeks, and I still don't feel like I really know what it smells like. I want to give it another shot (who knows, maybe there's something peculiar about my hormones or the weather right now) because on paper, it sounds right up my alley. But so far, it's the most "invisible" perfume I've sampled. Sigh.

I'm also not a fan of the bottle. For my money, it misses the mark on both form and function: I don't find it aesthetically pleasing; it's top heavy (or at least not top *light*) and always tipping over on the shelf; and it has one of those sprayers that will give out a weak dribble if you don't press it just right.

Still though! Hoping I can find a way to make it work since I do so love a milky, spicy, cinnamon-cardamomy thing.

AngelEuphoria

Dear Omnia lovers, I found the perfect version in an oil. You can find it here: TheCommonScents.com I used to work at a fragrance counter and prefer the oils to the perfume versions. Another oil store with exact copies of the originals is ScentsationalShoppe: I am able to own 30 or more of my favorite fragrances. I receive compliments all of the time because people recognize the fragrances I am wearing! They assume I am wearing the original version. These sites are also a great place to find your discontinued favorites. I prefer TheCommonScents version of Omnia more because it is heavier. Scentsationalshoppe has a lighter version but it is just as awesome

galaxy86

Why why why did bvlgari decide to get rid of this? It is beautiful with zesty mildly sweet opening of ginger (not masculine), milk, saffron (yes mildly there but nose is sensitive to it so I pick it up, would not be so obvious with your chemistry) and some spices. nutmeg is strong on my skin after opening along with maybe light magnolia. Sandalwood is there right from the opening and dries down to wonderful sandalwood. I dont smell any other notes in drydown though I would have loved to.
Either ways, this perfume is a true beauty

Jimskay

If you're desperated for this discontinued scent like me, you may try to layer Jo Malone Intense Saffron Cologne with Jo Malone Intense Dark Amber And Ginger Lily Cologne. They smell very similar to Omnia on me ;)

RapidScent

I could not get along with this one. It smells like its for more mature men, to me, unfortunately. I thought it would smell similar to Kenzo Jungle L'Elephant. I was so wrong.

ellina1984

Decant courtesy of No True Scotsman, thank you!

Omnia is weirdly sweet right after being sprayed - for a moment I wondered if the had been a mistake with the label. A minute later, I knew the label had been right.

This is an oriental, but a light and polite one. The spices are there, but they are not heady. There's a pepperiness, and some zingy ginger, and some sweet cinnamon, and a bit of cardamom, in the style of Bvlgari eau au the vert. The spices shine in their discreet presence. The chai latte aura is there, with a certain creaminess hanging out together with the spices.

This, as so many others before me have noted, stays close to skin. It is a gem, and Bvlgari should really consider bringing it back. I know I'd stock up if they did.

Edit: I now also smell the almond and nutmeg. This keeps getting better and better every time I wear it.

AnnaT

This is my favourite omnia and is my first Bvlgari perfume.

It opens with strong wood spice and a little sour green notes which i find so refreshing, special and full of character. Strong bitter and a little spicy tea note follows and it lasts. The dry down is spicy wood note.

Big sillage and moderate longevity. The strongest sillage and longevity in the omnia line. I hope bvlgari will re-launch it.

Hermes jardin Apres la Mousson reminds me of this. Both has 'indian aura', spice, bitter, tea, creamy feel.

Talicalicia

This one is very soft and spicy. Sits delicately on the skin and doesn't overpower. Only complaint is how subtle it is. it has a strong tea cardamom like start but then fades to only traces on my skin in about an hour with absolutely zero silage. Its a lovely perfume though balance wise. Too bad its been discontinued as its a pretty scent if your only looking for a barely there scent, though I wouldn't go out of my way to get more of the discontinued line.

pbach

Why has it been discountinued? It was a great fragrance! I loved it...

marinatatti

One of my favorite perfumes! It smells like sweet cherries on my skin and it lasts for hours! I hear they have stopped producing it, which is a pity. I have also tried crystalline, amethyst and coral but crystalline has a very fresh, citrusy scent that gives me a headache and amethyst does not last at all on my skin, just like coral.

Amy Orvin

I love this perfume!! It's very strong and is very similar to Omnia Crystalline. It lasts a long time. I sprayed it on last night and I still smell it noon the next day. This is one that lingers forever. You have to wash it off. I love the notes of ginger and mandarin orange.

avagard

If someone here ( Europe only) is interested in a swap I would exchange the remains ( ca 30 ml left) of my Serge Lutens "Chypre Rouge" for a 40 ml eau de parfum of Omnia discontinued.

margarita.angelova

I perceive it as a summer proof Christmas scent.
This is one of those warm, cozy fragrances to snuggle into but is also delicate enough to be worn during warmer months.

It's very spicy without being harsh or loud - a perfectly balanced one for those who fear such scents might be a bit inappropriate for certain settings. This one here would go well even as an everyday perfume for the office. It's soft enough and doesn't seem to have extreme projection.

For someone who likes spices as much as I do, this is a must have.
Sadly, it's discontinued.

MariaManuela

Clearly spring and summer fragrance. Very fresh and feminine essence without losing sensuality. I really like Omnia Coral and their longevity is acceptable. I'm a assiduous client.

chinna

Seems a perfume for men, but it is so strong, warm and yet sweet and balmy. Do not hesitate to choose it instead of my favorite vanilla a cold, wet morning.

DragonflySparrow

szilvihorv got it right in her review below: Warm, ginger tea! But I'll also add this: It is a skin scent and non-offensive. It has this creamy-soft-spiced-tea-house kick (zing?) to it that gets you through the day, all the while, remaining close to your skin, creating this creamy, tea-halo effect around you. If it had an aura, it's color would be the color of slightly reddish tea in a clear glass. Warm, not hot. Great for office, school, church, or lounging around at home.

BillyJean

I love cardamom so this was always a favourite over the years but whenever I bought it I would just forget about it and drift towards other fragrances. And I think the reason being is that it just doesn't last long enough. I spray it on liberally but it's such a poor performer. I suppose I can love it if I bunch it up together with my summer colognes and body sprays and just spray away without much thought or high expectations. And it is nice to have a spicy milky warm scent that is airy and transparent enough for a summers days.

galaxy86

Nice composition. Last for barely 3 hours even on clothes though. I wish it last longer, it would have been keeper than. I will still keep a bottle or two in my collection. Layers well with queen latifah in winter and I believe will layer with ange ou demon le secret in summer. Need to try summer combo and see if it lasts longer

davitea

The composition is really beautiful and previous reviewers did a great job describing it so I got nothing to add.
But I just can not hold my toungue about the sillage (zero) and the longevity (zero) of this perfume as well as the Amethyste and the Green Jade from the Omnia line. Weak, weak, weak. So disapointing.
Why would Bvlgari, a producer of expensive luxary products do this I don't understand. I wouldn't pay even $10.00.

labradorite

Spicy ginger tea. I'm positively surprised in more than one aspect: first of all, my biggest fear was that it would smell like chai tea. Interestingly, I love spices and I love tea, but spicy tea, not so much. After so many disappointment experimenting with spicy tea perfumes, I was scared to obtain Omnia, but I'm glad I did! It's spicy, right, it smells like tea, right, but thanks gGod it lacks the chai accord on my skin. And this leads to my second surprise: it is more like a soft ginger tea to my nose, and it's a ginger I like too! It smells citrusy - if I didn't know better I'd swear there's some lemon hidden in this perfume somewhere, but it really is just the ginger performing excellently here. The initial fresh citrus calms down and settles into a woody tea scent. White chocolate is noticeable on me, and cardamom and pepper are the only detectable spices, the rest of them blends too well with the woody notes.

If you're familiar with Bvlgari's Omnia line you know it's not famous for the longevity and sillage. This one as well settles fast on the skin and remains a skinscent throughout the 5-6 hours it lasts. It's easier to notice if you're spraying on your clothes too, it seems to project better from textile. It's a spicy scent that you can spray with abandon.

ShechireCat

Spicy, warm and unique. Nice especially during the fall and winter. I would not use Omnia during the warmest summer days, when it easily becomes too strong for my taste. Office safe but ok also for evenings.

HanamiTsukimi

This has a beautiful, chai-like opening. I really enjoy the mix of dusty saffron and spices. The cinnamon adds a faint, but nowhere near gourmand, sweetness. Within a few minutes, however, the drydown is pretty much identical to Omnia Crystalline EDT (not to mention the EDP). They both stay very, very close to the skin as well.

Because it's so mild it's absolutely safe to wear in a crowd or even a car. This is more a fragrance to wear for the benefit of those who might hug you than a fragrance that might get you noticed.

msanishvili

This is my all-time favorite perfume. I was devastated when it was discontinued. For people looking to replace this in their wardrobe, here is a list of perfumes that, while not strictly similar in fragrance, are similar in character (with my skin chemistry): Bvlgari BLV Notte Pour Femme (also getting harder to find), Prada Infusion d'Iris, and Donna Karan Cashmere Mist. Though none of these truly replace Omnia, I was thrilled to discover them. I also think that L`Eau Ambree Prada is actually close in smell, even though they don't share any notes. Hopefully someone else will find this list helpful.

shushkin

I was lucky enough to receive this as a free miniature. On paper i should love this. It is a warm light spicey pretty scent but amazingly weak as a kitten. The sillage is a soft skin scent.

Bloodlust

I absolutely love this fragrance, I wish they hadn't discontinued it! I'm going to cherish my mls.

Omnia is something that can fit into anyone's lifestyle, at any time of day, during any season. It's a one-size-fits-all, neutral, chameleon scent... for staying in, going out, dressing up, or being cozy - it just fits!

I can detect the chai tea in this, the sandalwood, and a handful of other notes, but the ginger does not provide as much spice as I had anticipated!

After reading multiple reviews here regarding this scent having zero longevity, I was shocked! I can still smell this for HOURS after I've sprayed it - especially if it's on clothes.

I see this as a perfect work fragrance, and it's primarily how I wear mine! Definitely something to try, even if you have a big fancy collection, because it's something that is hard to duplicate!

Tiger84

I fell in love with this before I knew anything about fragrances, except instincts on what I liked and what I didn't, and I loved this.

My second big real perfume after L'Air du Temps. Now I'm running out of both and not planning to buy again but they will be always among my favourites.

Cool, refined, doesn't need to scream to get everybody's attention because it doesn't need reassurance, it's completely confident and elegant. I love the gourmand aspect without the sweetness. Wonderful. I haven't smelled any of this flankers because I think they would be disappointing compared to this.

Two bad things: it is discontinued (WHY???), though still sold where I live. And it doesn't last very long, and doesn't project that much. But it is wonderful throughout its whole lifetime.

LeggysMum

CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THIS !!!

Goes with any outfit, any mood.

Combines beautifully with rose scents and musky scents, but shines in a warm, intimate way on its own.

I wish it was easier to track down...

i.kinga

I really enoyed this perfume. It gives me such a nice, calming feeling. Whenever I wore this I had the feeling that the day is going to be perfect. Definitely a mood lifter for me. it is ideal for autumn and winter and however I used up my bottle I think I will keep it to sniff it time after time :)

bridgette

Can barely smell it.

katushka37

Bvlgari Omnia is probably one of the most well-balanced spicy scents I've come across. You don't get potent spices that stand out by themselves in Omnia, just like chai tea they are all subtle and harmonious with each other.

Chai tea note is very prominent at the start but as the fragrance settles it becomes warmer and woodier. I get hints of cinnamon and chocolate but don't expect candy-like sweetness, more like a dusting on chai latte :)

It stays close but wears well, especially during cooler weather. I get complements wearing it but only when people are standing very close to me. This fragrance is truly unique, I haven't come across anything similar yet.

It has been discontinued but I still see it from time to time in discount pharmacies. I picked up a 65 ml bottle from Priceline few months ago for $40

dyst_opiates

I adore this fragrance's uniqueness. It is like no other, and I have received more compliments on it by far than anything else. I find the overall effect to be light and radiant despite the spicy and oriental nature of the perfume. I would call this the closest to a signature perfume I own. I've gone through three bottles over the years! There is something very modern and new about it to me, also.

I have never found it to be gourmand, though of course it is categorized as such. The spice just blends into a beautiful singular scent and no one takes center stage. It lasts quite well IMO- even after I cannot smell it, I've had numerous people remark on it.

gracenote-floralspice

I find this a wonderfully spicy fragrance. As for all who cannot smell it, I think we perfumistas may need to consider how others experience our fragrance. I wore Bvlgari Omnia to a conference in Johannesburg, so left home at 4 in the morning. The fragrance was applied early in the morning, so on skin for 9 hours before a gentleman complimented me, asking me what it was. I could not smell a thing and thought it had disappeared. I am starting to think the Bvlgari fragrances behave this way. That of course not to dispel experiences of body chemistry. An interesting thought: the person who complimented me was from India. As we know it's a spice bomb, one cannot help wonder if some cultures experience fragrances in accordance with woods and flowers available in their countries and of course according to the relevance of ingredients with culture and religion. Perhaps food for thought. So for me, I love Omnia and long live Bvlgari Omnia!

StopHammertime

This perfume is weird to me. It starts out with a very strong blast of awkward spices. That lasts for about 5 minutes before drying down to a soft ginger kind of smell, barely reminiscent of the opening notes. Never have I smelled such a perfume, where the opening smelled absolutely nothing like the rest of it. I don't get much sweetness at all, from all the reviews I was expecting a gourmand but got an oriental. This reminds me of another discontinued frag, Ralph Lauren Hot - another one I expected to be closer to gourmand but ended up being a spicebomb. Anyway Omnia is all right but I don't see myself wearing it.

Mooniq

Omnia is a beautiful soft Oriental scent, but it doesn't last on my skin. About 40 minutes, then its gone. Omnia is shortlived, thats why I will only use my sample and not buy a bottle, not worth the money and I don't want to spray myself every 30 minutes.

aysegulsec

Valediction to Omnia...

I really am very sorry to meet such an extraordinary, feminine, subtle, crisp and unusual fragrance so late.
It is discontinued; I can hardly believe it; it is one of the rarest perfumes which reminds of no other perfume but itself.

It's full of spices but it does not give you a headache like Kenzo Jungle does.
It is full of brave notes but it does not shout and scream.

It's very close to skin; what I get most is cardamom and ginger; after a while a little bit of white chocolate behind the woodsy notes.

That would have been my signature fragrance both in summer and winter; if only I Could find it!

bailarina

The notes are a little unusual but it works for me. I can wear it for work because it is pleasant and soft. I love the smell during the cold months. It is not sweet or floral, sometimes I get tired of those. I can smell it on my clothes all morning.

professorlilith

A number of the other reviewers have mentioned that Omnia doesn't last long. What I've found is that I get anosmic to it after a couple of hours, except for right on my skin. But it seems to have staying power for quite a while after that point. I've been complimented on it as much as three hours after I thought the scent had gone away. The sillage isn't huge, but it's bigger than it seems I'm wearing it. People can detect it from several feet away if I'm in motion and stirring air. I really like this perfume. If you get frustrated with not being able to smell it on yourself, consider putting it on top of a vanilla, sandalwood, or saffron note. I put it on top of my Body Shop vanilla, a perfume oil that lasts a day and a half if you don't wash it off, and that makes a huge difference in projection and staying power.

....I now have Crabtree & Evelyn's Sandalwood, and I can report that Omnia does smell good layered on it. I can smell it longer, too.
....and a sample of Jo Malone Saffron Intense also goes beautifully, bringing out the saffron in the omnia
...and now I know it layers beautifully with Guerlain's Songe d'un bois d'ete, Tauer's L'air du desert Marocain, and Diptyque's Tam Dao

drlaurel

it's funny what others say is too much spice is what I look for in a perfume. another one of my unique fragrances, unlike any other I've encountered, this one is definitely a colder weather scent. think black cashmere sweaters and a night out at a michelin resto. love it love it love it. definitely hot on the cardomom and clove and dries down to a spicy sandalwood. never sweet or floral. and has great staying power. definitely more masculine but certainly a woman's fragrance.

lanhua

I got it as a present but it was too spicy for me and ended up giving it to my mom who loves it. I did not like it much and it has to do with the fact that I could smell it all the time. Usually, your brain adjusts with the smells around you so you can go on with your life but not in this case. The fact it wasn't exactly my type of fragrance only made it worse. Oh, and it took a lot of effort to wash it off which is good news if you like it.
As for the notes - I can mostly smell the cardamom which is not my favourite thing in the world. In addition I get excessive pepper, ginger and nutmeg. The first note listed is chai and even though I love it, the spices just don't come together for me. But I do get why people can love it - I actually find it very lovely when someone else is wearing it. Just not me.

I thought this would be an absolute spice bomb so I was both apprehensive and excited about trying it. Turns out spicy and woody notes suit my chemistry well... the ginger, cardamom, sandal and cloves really stand out... and they smell natural too. This is really good quality. Unfortunately I'm testing this in summer on a 34C/93F day, so I will have to revisit this in a few months to find out how much I really love it, Omnia is definitely a colder weather scent.

I experience the weird thing that this perfume I bought from online shop smells like bvlgary omnia amethyst. I've sniff it before and smell nice, very powdery and oriental. I don't know maybe I got he fake one. but could be fake one smell like original amethyst? I have no idea. I gave my amethyst to my brother because it smells unisex, and I got the same scent now?! hmmm.. weird.

I like it, yet I get bored with it so fast!? It has a watery edge, and it is a skin scent mostly, I find nothing wrong with it, except it could work for just about anyone..so it is a safe scent, would make a good gift, so any woman out there would like it..it has a bit of a spicy soft oriental edge...it reminds me of my beloved Ultraviolet, in the watery edge..I just find the Rabanne more interesting..
Si really a nice cool weather soft scent..nice but to me, nothing more..
Morillas just plays it safe, always..

A new love relationship is starting in my life... I couldn't leave this in the store with such a good bargain. And... ten long years after its release I finally discovered the original. I have 3 members of the Omnia family, and although so far I thought the original is by far not my cup of tea, now I can see the resemblance in all of them, and I love this intricate and sophisticated, typical Omnia base scent which is present in all of them. The original Omnia is perfect for the winter holidays: unique, spicy, sweet but not cloying. A bit like tea, a bit like milky coffee, a bit like orange with cinnamon, a bit like nuts and almonds, a bit like gingerbread... Yummy! I have yet to see the sillage and longevity though.

I really like this fragrance, very spicy, very nice for winter. One major minus: it lasts for max. two hours on my skin. And I think it's discontinued? I can't find it anywhere.

Paintedlily

I like enjoy fragrance, but it's missing something. On me, it feels like a watered down version of what it should be. I can smell watered down chai tea spices (cardamom, ginger, cinnamon), a sweet saffron and a faint floral note. This is a "your skin but better" scent. It stays close to the body and doesn't last too long (about 3 hours on normal skin in a moderately dry climate). It's still a nice fragrance, it just seems slightly watered down and unfinished.

Looking at the notes, you would think it would be an overpowering spice bomb which I was hoping it would be. I should have read the reviews prior. However, I do like the perfume and I am glad I purchased it was just not what I originally wanted.

The chai tea is the first note I smell. This note stays very close to the skin. Slightly sweet and watery.

The ginger floats in the background quite nicely, its not sharp.

The lotus and saffron notes are the most prominent and longest lasting on my skin.

This perfume can be office friendly since the sillage is close the skin. It doesn't last too long on my skin roughly around 4 hours. I spray the perfume on my scarf for a lasting scent.

Overall, I feel that this perfume is original because of the sweet watery, spiciness yet safe because its soft and almost weak. Original yet safe are two descriptions that are not said often together. If I could find it discounted I would purchase again but not for the original price.

Angel in the South

I had thought that with all the beautiful notes this was going to be heavy. It is not. Instead it is a very subtle soft perfume. After a while the notes do get a little louder and I love the soft spicy smell that it gives out. It is a perfume guaranteed not to give offense if worn in close contact with others. A great winter perfume for work. On my skin it is a beautiful soft perfume. I am not disappointed with this although I know many others are. It suits the colder weather better. Longevity and sillage are minimum but that is ok with me.

This was one of my favorite scents of all time, and loved the comments from everyone that smells it on me...but it has no staying power! And this was the EDP! I love the gourmand notes that went into this fragrance; it reminds me of a big cup of chai tea (or at least what it would smell like). But, like the cup of tea that I'm finished drinking, this disappears in the same way. It does sit close to the skin for about an hour or two then disappears on me, but it remains in all the clothes I wear, even when I've washed them (it took about two washes to get it out, and had to be more careful about WAITING for it to dry on my skin)! I've tried layering: the wash, the lotion, and the EDP...that's the only way I can get away with wearing it (and actually smell myself) and not having to refresh throughout the day, but from what I've read from other reviews about anosmia, this is one of the scents that do that to me, unfortunately. I love it, but I just wish it lasted longer and was just a wee bit stronger!

This is definitely quiet and subtle on my skin. If I press my nose against my arm this perfume actually makes my mouth water.
The chai, cinnamon and ginger are there with a slightly sweet woody, nutty undertone.
It's just too soft for me. The search continues.

Where can I find this in a store? The notes are up my alley. Buy I don't want to blindly buy this I like to test it on myself first. Iv had no luck finding this one!

janegoodenough

Fresh and spicy with a little warmth. Relaxing fragrance. Not one for everyone. Love it!

Omnia is very comforting, calm skin scent, long lasting. All notes are wonderfully blended and while its complex layering grows, I can distinct almost all the notes listed. There’s feeling of warmth and wish to smell the wrists often and re-discovering Omnia notes again and again. So pleasant.

Much gratitude to Kris919 for trading me this in a great swap!

Omnia by Bvlgari. I sprayed four sprays: two on each arm, and about ten seconds later, my boyfriend exclaimed (from across the room), "Woah! That DOES smell good!"... Yay! Ladies and gentlemen, we've found a winner.

Bf's reaction also dispels whatever concerns I had that this would smell like nothing, like so many reviewers experienced. Perhaps different batches are to blame for the inconsistent results?

Omnia doesn't exactly smell like I spilled chai tea on myself, it's more like "chai translated as perfume." There is also something thin, airy, dark and sandalwoody about it. It is very well blended, and cardamom/cinnamon sweet but the abstract woody quality prevents it from being too sweet. Omnia is definitely distant cousins of Versace Crystal Noir, as well as Jo Malone Dark Amber and Ginger Lily. Must be that cardamom gingerbeer-marinated wood.

Put it this way: Omnia smells as good as the bottle is ugly.

Soft, creamy, spicy chai. Spice chests, really good creamy peppery sandalwood. Lots of peppery notes going on. Only better than chai. Much, much betterer. On someone else. If I spray it on myself, I can't smell it at all. If my friend wears it, or sprays a curtain in her home, I am overcome with admiration, clinging to her soft furnishings in a most unbecoming fashion. Why does it disappear on my skin? I can't NOT have this in the house, because it smells so good. If, however, someone else can smell it on me the way I smell it on my friend, then it's great. If you get my drift..... all in all, big love.

pompous

This is unique, but not the loud type of unique like, say, Lady Gaga's "special" dresses.

It smells a lot like this asian tea shop in my city. I honestly stop by it every time I'm in the area just to stand around and enjoy the aromas. I would use the same words and expressions to describe the store as well as the perfume: It's very calming and nice. A little bit earthy and moist-smelling if you catch my drift.

The perfect scent to wear to keep your mood up during the winter if you experience the winter blues.

Wrote a review earlier, wanted to update.
I've been wearing this almost non stop since I got it. On a couple of occasions I've been anosmic, aka I haven't been able to smell it at all. I think it has something to do with overspraying. The more I spray, the less I can smell it. 2-3 sprays, and on a good day it stays with me all day.
It's a mixture of soft creamy spices, a very comforting smell.
Omnia has proudly taken a place on my "all time top 5 favorite perfumes"- shelf. I get bored with a perfume very easily, i like to wear a different one every day. I wore Omnia 2 weeks in a row, and enjoyed it every single day, no boredom in sight. I try not to neglect my other perfumes, but it's gonna be difficult :)
