Very beautiful and uplifting tuberose, quite sweet.

sntiago

Not very bubblegummy tuberose. Smells like Marfa by Memo Paris but not as shampoo-ey. Feminine, A little sweeter, floral and more balsamic. Warmer but the tuberose for the first couple of hours is definitely the main star. I just think this is redundant if you have any other tuberose forward scents. For people looking to expand into this territory, or who are just looking for a sophisticated beautiful perfume, you can't go wrong with this. If you don't want your tuberose too bubblegummy, or too indolic, or too green or heavy on camphorous menthol like elements, I would even say this is blind buy safe. But it's just not fun. There's no bubblegummy pop, there's no dentist office or skank in this tuberose, and I just have to say I Iove my tuberoses those ways.

GracieLions

Zero Tuberose detected. It's a beautiful perfume, but to me it just smells of berries and peach. There are no floral notes at all. Avoid if you are searching for a Tuberose perfume.

Loose Goose

Bubblegumy tuberose that's slightly medicinal.
Good performance

As others have mentioned, this is an undeniably beautiful fragrance. The tuberose is there, however I find this to be jasmine dominant. The jasmine-vanilla-cashmere-woody combo is the same DNA as so many other offerings at a fraction of the price. If I had to compare it to another floral woody combo I'd categorize this as Donna Born in Roma's older, smoother, more sophisticated (niche) sister.

Tuberose Imperiale is also very "perfumey" whereas other BDK offerings are more of a olfactory experience that make you depart from traditional perfumes (Gris Charnel & Creme de Cuir). Likely wouldn't buy this unless it was heavily discounted. However, if you want a more mature, safe floral woody combo, this would be right up your alley.

Chesf

A very bad take on tuberose. It doesn’t smell like tuberose at all. It lacks the carnality and the down-to-earth character of the flower, instead we have this fake, classist, weird, uncomfortable concoction of ylangylang and other obnoxious syrupy stuff. Cashmeran musk here is a huge ew.

This is the most beautiful tuberose perfume I have ever smelled. I have a humble tuberose perfume collection and I want to add this beauty even I have Vert Malachite. This is very similar to Vert Malachite but this has more sillage and longevity. Also it is more sophisticated.

Nartan

Creamy Tubereuse, more delectable version of rouge malachite. In Love!

CosyCattleya

This is a beautiful fragrance. I cannot say much about how tuberose intense this one is because I've never seemed out to sniff tuberose fragrance before.

I didn't like this scent at the first sniff but it grew on me every time I sniff it. It's comforting, sweet, youthful, and inviting. BDK is such a "je ne sais quoi" vibe, not trying too hard to stand out but does because of the uniqueness that's not off putting. Like taking something that already exists then add their own twists in it.

This is the vibe of TI: She is sophisticated but she plays! she's youthful, beautiful, flirty but not seductive. She's a teaser whose security is not in your face type. She's self-assured and quietly confident.

Now THIS is tuberose done right! Very classy!

I love tuberose in perfumes but here no... This perfume is not very pleasant, it is average and even sweet and cloying. It reminds me of Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel which I don't really like either. Let's say it's not bad, it's just "ok" but I won't buy it. There is something sickening and dripping like a jam made from not fresh flowers. I see people comparing it to Vert Malachite by Armani, they have absolutely nothing on common! VM is fresh and silky, Tuberose Impériale is not silky at all, it's strong and syrupy. Top notes are disgusting for me but I find the dry down ok. This isn't luxury, I think it doesn't worth the price.

Devved

I really like this one, it`s a really well done fragrance. It`s not right up in your face and the tuberose is smoothed with iris. Those are the two notes I really get from this. If you like La Vie Est Belle intense or iris, you will find this attractive. Really smells like Velvet Tonka BDK just a bit more green and flowery.

Maya lilac

Not as tuberose heavy as I thought it would be being named Tubereuse Imperiale. It comes across more as an equal mix of tuberose, jasmine, ylang ylang and iris. Not sweet in the slightest (unfortunately, for me) but feels like a very warm floral with green, powdery, woody nuances. I think the patchouli and the cypress from the base notes show quite prominently alongside the multitude of flowers.

It’s a very interesting, balanced blend of all sorts of florals, white, yellow, purple with a soft, woody base coming from sandalwood and cashmeran and green nuances from patchouli, cypress and geranium. But it’s not my type of tuberose. I prefer much more a sweet, bubblegumy tuberose and a more straightforward tuberose scent if I am choosing to wear a tubereuse perfume. This is very complex and multifaceted and quite unique. Not sure about the presence of incense, vanilla or benzoin in this…

It’s a great scent, classic and elegant with a good performance and a hefty price.

I would recommend Tubereuse Imperial to the those who like complex florals with a nice touch of green, fresher facets.

Not interested currently in buying a bottle of Tubereuse Imperiale for myself as it is expensive and not exactly my style but I would happily wear if I were to get it gifted!

Beautiful, simple yet stylish bottle! I really like BDK’s packaging and chromatic design for most of their fragrances!

Rozalina

Tuberose and ylang ylang fuzzy blanket. Not a bad fragrance, but rather subpar.

Fragility

Pretty tuberose with loads of ylang trough and trough. Sweet but also kind of green and fruity sour like an unripe peach. A girly perfume, not that much character in it but still would like it on a woman. Longevity is crazy on me- one spritz on my wrist some two days ago and I still feel it.

annamal

This one is nice...Really nice. Tuberose here is very young, very green, one of the best tuberoses I have tried. It is very very strong, like every tuberose scent, but unlike others it is very safe one. For women in their 20s-30s: when you are mature enough to smell this chic but still very young and playful. I cannot distinguish much notes here: for my nose it is pretty good blended, very powderly-butterly-floral-tuberosy rich perfume. This actually smells rich, perfect for winter and autumn for every day. Like a gold in a bottle.
One woman literally followed me to ask what perfume I am wearing.

No1KnowsThisNose

To me, this smells exactly like Kera Care hair products. It’s a very lovely, sweet floral scent but definitely not worth the price or hype.

Thykes10

The opening is very aromatic with the geranium and willowherb- I don't really love that aspect. The tuberose does start to come through pretty quickly though which helps. My husband wasn't a big fan but I think it’s a classic Tuberose with great lasting power. Around the 4 hour mark, there's a musky vanilla drydown which gives it a little more of a bubblegum vibe. I would say this has moderate projection. Overall, this is a pretty daytime scent for those that like white florals. The opening isn't my favorite and the I don't think the drydown is unique enough for me given the price. But I will say this is my favorite BDK I've tried thus far.

AnastasiaGostieva

Rich spicy tuberose with very interesting peppery and tropical twists that makes it almost gourmand, because with an addition of a vanilla note it smells a bit edible. The composition is beautiful! Such a complex perfume.

I just happened to try Armani Vert Malachite and this one at the same time coincidentally.

I find them very similar and dont like either.
I note they both have Ylang Ylang and Jasmine sambac as notes. They both have benzoin as well.
These must be the offending incredients to my nose.

Definitely not one that I will use again.

magnanimousjohn

Guy's perspective: Tuberose, tuberose, tuberose. I can't stop smelling the tuberose, but I enjoy the smell of tuberose so that's not a problem. The other floral notes, especially jasmine, become more apparent as the opening notes fade into the drydown. Extremely sweet fragrance; I love it but I can see it being cloying to some.

Longevity and projection are absolutely insane to me. I can smell it through closed doors in another room, and it'll easily last on your skin for most of the day. That's how strong it is.

Silverquick

I had this and let it go. I yearned for the notes to ring true but as with most Bdk on my skin they come up oddly sweet (this isn’t a common occurrence for me), and the notes are blurred and hard to find. Like a sweet fruit with very little taste 😞

I experience something like a less interesting French Flower - very sweet but with no definition or nuance. FF is beastly but I get various notes.

Sadly Bdk isn’t really for me. The only ones I feel work for me are Rouge Smoking, Tabac Rose and Vanille Leather.

Performance was moderate and longevity only approaching moderate for TI.

Alexafit

A lovely scent that's very feminine but on me it has no sillage or protection at all. I have to dig into my arm to smell it.

lavanderose

This smells like a delicious buttery pillowy white floral cake. That being said, I don’t think it’s too overly sweet or gourmand. I find as this fragrance develops, the subtle woody notes give it a fresh and classy side so it doesn’t turn into a total sugar bomb like My Way or Love Don’t Be Shy. Longevity is really good and the dry down is a heavenly vanilla musk. I’m not a sweet or loud perfume lover - I usually opt for powdery, clean, understated scents - but this one is just soooo good.

stillalive

As always, I'm looking for my replacement to Tom Ford Orchid Soleil. This is the closest tuberose scent I've found so far! Although it's lacking most of the other elements I adore in TFOS, I'm going to try layering it with some other scents like Ellis Vanilla Milk. Even on its own, though, I could see this being a nice warm weather floral I can wear year-round in Florida!

SSBurn

I truly love this scent. It’s a very specific mood it evokes! I feel like I wouldn’t wear this just any day. The tuberose on me is at the base and kind of hovers in the back and adds just a touch of sweetness. Definitely not overly sweet to me. The Jasmine is the buttery kind especially early on! The dry down is a very beautiful blend of it all. This makes me kind of feel like southern Easter Sunday. Everyone dressed in their light colors, sun is shining, wild flowers (and for some reason I get lilys) are in full bloom on church grounds. Hot and a little stuffy but there’s a breeze floating through the open doors of the church as everyone bears a full happy grin just because. I think this is an easy white floral for someone late 20s-40s very pleasing scent.

francesco_grieco

Tubereuse Imperiale by BDK Parfums may strike one as somewhat unremarkable within the realm of tuberose fragrances. Whereas its counterparts often radiate seduction, elegance, botanical freshness, uplifting vibrancy, or bold character, Tubereuse Imperiale opts for a more understated, even uneventful, demeanor. This fragrance may appeal to those who find solace in the traditional and quintessentially feminine, devoid of the embellishments or complexities. It essentially harmonizes with a more customary, middle-class, and mature sensibility.

sundayinheaven

Tubéreuse Impériale is a weird one for me. I LOVED it the first time I smelled it. My heart started racing and I was convinced I had found my new favorite scent. I thought it smelled like what a 2014 Victoria's Secret angel looked like. I thought I needed a full bottle immediately. Luckily, the price point made med think twice, and I decided to use up my sample first. I will not be getting a full bottle of this, because every time I have worn it since I just don't really like it. It's too sweet, and reminds me of bananas or carrots. I don't smell all that elegance and beauty that I smelled that wonderful first time. Fragrance is weird.

Farrque

Lemon, bergamot, neroli, tuberose, jasmine, pink pepper, white musk, carrot sweetness and sandalwood.

Must-try for lovers of tuberose. I really enjoy the woody, slightly spicy undertone which is usually missing from tuberose-heavy scents in my opinion.

Fragaddict4u

I left a review years ago and I’m back. I just bought a new bottle & either I’m going crazy or BDK has changed the bottle cap and atomizer collar??? My old bottle has a more matte finish on the cap and its atomizer collars a champagne matte gold color. The new bottle I received has a shiny gold cap and shiny gold atomizer collar? Also I’m noticing the new bottle has a slightly different scent. It’s less sweet and dense. More light and airy with a slight greenness? It does smell relatively the same but I notice a difference!! I must be going mad. Anyone else notice these differences? Ugh. Why ruin a good thing :(

Darkstar _ Destroyer

Love this on my wife! Feminine and intoxicating.

Baltabarin

TUBÉREUSE IMPÉRIALE - It's a buttery tuberose disarmed of some of the most polarizing connotations of the note, nestled in a sweeter rather than aromatic vanilla that walks hand in hand with benzoin. The opening geranium is a precious distraction that paves the way for a warm and delicately sensual fragrance; in the dry-down, it becomes cleaner, but its persistence is solid and recognizable. A great execution by BDK, even though it doesn't make one shout for a miracle...

EditaVrb

I don’t like white flowers and I don’t care about the tuberose. The first time I smelled this I didn’t care much cause I was sampling, looking for a yummy gourmand perfume. I just let in on number 3 of the samples as I didn’t disliked it either.
The other day with a “fresh nose” 😅 I put this on as I had to run out for choirs. And it got me so intrigued, I kept smelling it and it is so good and delicious but not in a foodie way, it is absolutely feminine, a white bride! I had to review the notes and I can’t believe that I like it but I do. The iris and the sandalwood in this are 👌chefs kiss! Maybe that is it! Cause normally white flowers feel heavy and too much.
And I’ll purchase a small batch for the days that I feel extra feminine white bride. I wish I had this in spring. But I’ll make it work for this end of summer somehow.

Craytrans

floral sweet bubblegum? anyone not bad just , is what it is

Myrtillajus

I don't like tuberose, I find it too carnal, there is a however: if it is stripped of its more narcotic vibes, it becomes very pleasant for me. And here we have one of those tuberoses that I love: green, flowery, creamy and clean. She's very delicate, like a girl who walks around trying not to get noticed, but knowing she's the most beautiful. Dressed in an ordinary way, so as not to be noticed, but fails, as it is impossible not to.
A light, ethereal fragrance that perfectly frames our femininity with a touch of elegance.
She is the woman portrayed in Millais' "Portrait of a Girl".

Dawnya7b

I got a 10 ml of this last year and instantly fell in love. Everything about it made me salivate and roll my eyes back every time. Long story short this was super expensive on every website I looked. After reading some reviews I found that a lot of people had dupes for this. I stupidly tried almost all of them. And they were not much cheaper than this. One was even more expensive. I would go back to my 10 ml every now and again and every time I float a little with every whiff.

It’s so good and gets better and sweeter the longer I have it on. I adore the spicy opening and the bubble gummy mid is just to die for m. The rich and lucious dry down is 10/10 I just have no complaints with this. 10/10 on all the marks just wonderful and yes ladies and gentlemen it is worth the price tag! I learned that the hard way.

TheFl0rist

Buttery sweet bubblegum tuberose. Too sweet too buttery ! Too strong! Silage n longevity out of the world! Perfection if you like it!

It's polarising! I sold off mine!

Flame Maiden

It's gorgeous for sure and on first spray it's very sweet. This and Pas Ce Soir are definitely sisters. Even if this is a bit too sweet, it would make an amazing mixer for something more musky at night time. I love it. I think I will use it to layer with other fragrances to sweeten them up when I'm in the mood for more sexy tuberose.

yerawizard

Strong white floral. A bit too sharp on my skin.

Annata

I was afraid to try this cuz of tuberose, but I’m glad I did it 😍. This is sexy, sweet, bubblegum, candy, girly, feminine, sensual. It smells so good, it reminds me candies and bubblegums but in such a good way.
This is definitely a compliment 🧲.

NotaninfluencerTRUEreview

Oh my...I got a sample of this and fell in love! It is so sexy. To me it's not overly feminine and could be unisex. I've heard people say that tuberose can turn bubble gummy, meh ok. I'm here for whatever it turns into.

I love the first spray and the dry down of this one. That is generally not the case for me. One of my favorite fragrances is Initio's Atomic Rose and initially I felt I hated it when I was new into fragrances and that dry down hit. Now I love it and basically ignore the first spray because the top notes won't last long.

This one is my second favorite one from this house so far. My fav being Rouge Smoking. But I haven't smelled RS since the spring. To me RS is a spring / summer scent. I would say that this one can be an all-season scent. It's light enough on my skin for spring and fall but close enough to the skin for winter. I'm not sure if it will suffocate in summer. We will see.

On my skin this is sexy, melt the snow sexy baby.....now to see if my man thinks the same.

Ilikewhatilike

As a guy I gave this a go. I have a sample of YSL supreme boutique and tried it a few times.

I feel this is a lot less feminine than the YSL. This feels a bit more creamy on my skin. The opening is quite nice and summery. I’m still on the fence if I enjoy wearing this type of fragrance. I tread it more as a novelty / curiosity, but I think it’s more suitable for a stylish woman.

cocomademoisellerie

Thick, sweet, bubblegum-y Tuberose. It's addicitve, lush, it smells like you could have a bite of the scent. Smooth base of vanilla and benzoin give it fond and the Jasmin adds some sophistication. It is special, it is "a lot", but hell, yes.

Linnsim

As a tuberose lover I have to say this is one of my favourite takes on a tuberose. Sweet, not in a bubblegummy way, smooth, elegant and sophisticated. I also have Supreme Bouquet from YSL which it is compared too, but I find Supreme Bouquet “greener” than this one. If you’re a tuberoselover you need this in your collection.

Enrium

Tubéreuse Impériale is a sweet tuberose scent, showcasing the "pretty" side of this heady white floral note without giving into its true carnal richness. It is a high-quality, reasonably subtle, sweet white floral, but lacks excitement. It reminds me a lot of YSL Supreme Bouquet - a classically elegant, refined white floral, but I much prefer the YSL.

TI is very subtle and slightly green at initial spray, perhaps thanks to the herbal notes listed. The tuberose follows, slowly blooming on my skin. Smooth and creamy, but uncharacteristic subtle, it is rounded out by sweet ylang ylang. Clean jasmine emerges as it develops, powdery and slightly sweet. There is a thin fruity undertone that takes from the white floral bouquet somewhat.

A sweet amber-vanilla accord emerges as it dries down, a predictable progression for a sweet white floral scent. Some soft woody notes creep in, but it is primarily a run-of-the-mill vanilla-sweetened white floral here. The tuberose veers towards bubblegum territory at this stage. It becomes musky as it fades. Sillage and longevity are moderate. Best worn as a springtime day scent.

An understated, feminine white floral, TI is classic in style but nothing groundbreaking. I've also smelled better versions of this. Pretty but pointless. 3/5.

KerriZ

I like BDK and think it's an interesting house. This fragrance honestly did nothing for me. It wasn't a strong tuberose or anything else. It dissipated as quickly as it sprayed on but it lasted a long time on the test strip...so maybe it's just me. Disappointing as I love white florals.

pisinoe

I wasn't expecting to like this but damn this is fancy and nice. If you like tuberose or florals, this is very high quality. It's creamy, it's all rounded, it's not powdery and has none of that grandma smell. Truly smells "imperial". It's a bit too grown up for me right now. Think Diana Prince in her diplomatic role. Not sexy, but elegant and feminine and oozing admiration and respect.

Tamina

Blind bought it. It's a nice scent, but it does not fit me :( Offering FB for a reasonable price, preferably in EU

lmnsvgz

Definitely not comparable to Vert Malachite. V.M. is sweeter, more prominent lily. This one is a grandma tuberose.

Ravenrage

This has a strange sweet fruity note (non-tuberose like) that I don't like. Sadly, it kinda ruins the tuberose part for me.
And it doesn't remind me of Vert Malachite much, nope. That one is on another level.
Overall nice, but Pas ce Soir would be my recommendation here.

hsiangchi.huang

Very rich, creamy, opulent tuberose bomb! Tuberose can either go green or go sweet (bubble-gumy), and this is the later. There's a lot of similar tuberose frags that have been done like this before (e.g. rouge malachite). Although it's nice, it doesn't stand out to me.

Edemay

Started off promising then a weird sour note appeared which ruined it for me

I tested this along side love tuberose by Amouage and love tuberose was definitely a lot nicer and longer lasting

ingrid.superstar

This is a good-humored, fruity-floral fragrance on a heart of soft spices. It starts to do that bubblegum/banana thing that tuberose can sometimes do (looking at you Amarige!), but is saved from fusty, cloying candyland by the lemony brightness of rose and geranium. Though it's unlisted in the notes pyramid, I insist I detect a hint of jammy rose!

In spite of the unfavorable candy comparison I was just making, this fragrance is complex like Juicy Fruit Gum or Coca-Cola -- i.e. what first tastes sweet, comforting, and familiar is actually made up of a complex combination of fruits, herbs, and spices whose individual characters you can start to pick out if you really pay attention. But I would also literally compare this frag to the deliciousness of Juicy Fruit Gum...plus a rosy sophistication to illuminate it. Very excited to keep sampling from BDK!

Jeff Shin

The problem with these dense and vanillic tuberoses is that they smell like caramel popcorn on me. Tubereuse Imperiale, Marfa, Rouge & Vert Malachite all smell like something buttery has been spread on my skin. The dry down is much ambery than the opening and the white floral creamy aspect dies down, but still popcorn.

Carpe Noctem

This is a very pretty tuberose. I was glad after I sprayed it on my skin that it wasn't a shrieking or piercing tuberose like some I've tried. It was more on the mellow side. Definitely tuberose prominent first and foremost. The ylang was toned down enough that I could stand it (not really a fan) and it never bothered me. I never got the geranium or iris and the cashmeran, which usually bothers me, never showed up too prominently here.

The drydown was a very pleasant mixture of tuberose more mellow, and lovely woods. None of those harsh aroma-chemicals in place of the woods, either.

I think if I didn't already have several tuberose perfumes this would be a contender for a full bottle.

Gluconate2021!

Smells like Christmas morning, inoffensive but I'm not sure it will ever be my go to... it's quite nice though!

jklovesperfumes

Having this, initial sniff and sprayed; made me really stick into testing perfumes on our skin first before buying… We can’t rely on just the notes… I sprayed this and made me wanna puke, it smells like a Fart 😂 sweet smell with a Fart. I don’t know which was it since the notes in here are too many… but… it now dries down to a sweet, powdery, dated? scent. smells old perfumes, Iykyk. but not bad as the initial smell. You have to love a bit matured scent to like this. It dried down sweet and nice even if it was yucky on my initial spray. It would be nice If I’ll outgrow liking this since the dry down is pretty nice.

Jinevivestyle

Save your coins. I have this and Dolled Up by Layered and tested them side by side. 85% similar. You're welcome.

Wannabeperfumer

I despise Giorgio Armani intense for some reasons and this particular perfume reminds me of it.
If I never hit the Armani i think I might have liked it

evamaywilson

I love everything about this perfume. Creamy and sweet but not cloying. Have only used it over the winter but I imagine it being perfect for me all year round. Performs well and people around me love it, inviting and addicting. The notes differ slightly where I purchased mine, addition of pink peppercorn and no mention of rosebay willowherb. (EDIT: I think rosebay willowherb was a mistranslation, baie rose translates to pink peppercorn)

Head: Pink Peppercorn. Egyptian Geranium.

Heart: Indian Tuberose. Comoros Ylang Ylang. Jasmine Sambac. Iris. Egyptian Jasmine.

Base: Cashmeran. Sandalwood. Somali Incense. Madagascan Vanilla. Singapore Patchouli. Sumatran Benzoin. Cypress.

chyan

This scent and more recently Sabbia Bianca by Parfuma Roma made me realize that I am not a fan of the bubble gum version of Tuberose. I suppose I prefer more animalic presentations of the flower and am eternally spoiled by the purity of Carnal Flower. My daughter wears Armani My Way and I do not see the comparison to this. I am surprised it's discussed and compared here.

Love most of what I've smelled from BDK except for this and Tabac Rose.

avg992

I’ve finally found a white floral scent that doesn’t smell like pure grape bubblegum or expensive soap! In the beginning I do get a bit of that grape bubblegum vibe, but luckily it’s not overpowering and fades over time too. It isn’t indolic either, which I’m also pleased about. This scent makes me feel like I’m wearing an expensive all white linen outfit while hanging out at a fancy hotel. Thats the “vibe” I get from this fragrance. It’s luxurious, clean, and classy. I’d describe it as a sweet white + yellow floral. I think it’s quite versatile too. Clean and fresh enough to be worn casually, yet high-quality and lavish enough to be worn at formal events. Definitely putting this at the top of my to buy list.

stardenise16

Wow, it’s one of the best Tuberose fragrances I’ve smelled. So beautiful and creamy and I hope to get this in the future.

typeonegative333

The best tuberose fragrance, I also get that bubblegumm-y scent as the comments mention - it's sweet, flirty and very feminine. It's definitely gorgeous and unique, try this if you're a tuberose lover. Very versatile as well.

aviegravy

creamy, sweet, bubblegum-y. got told “you smell so good, a little bit like a dentist’s office.”

cherubi rubi

Didn’t get any lovely floral mid notes that I was looking for from this one. Dusty generic plastic fruity floral scent. It had a tiny bit of sweet and tart. I was so excited about trying this brand…:Pass

0/10-nothing special, tuberose hard to find

onnagreen

I’m not a whit floral so for those out there like me you WILL LOVE THIS! AHHHH! This is a spicy flower . I was afraid this was going to be like Fracas but no this is it

Catmo

Recently tried sample of all BDK fragrances and this one was my favorite of the bunch. I knew that I never minded tuberose but I never realized I actually loved it until this one came along. I’ve always really enjoyed My Way and recently tried L’interdit intense which is quite nice- but more formal. I just purchased a FB because I have to have this!

Dadmehr

This one has coconut 🥥 in it for sure, weirdly is not listed in the notes. Its one of the best tuberose perfumes out there if you are a tuberose fan. Long lasting floral perfume which is not usual 👌

zaz13

The most beautiful tuberose ever 😍 it’s so feminine and elegant and well blended. The best one out of all the BDKs imo!

snackaroons

Strong and sweet! Suitable for dressy occasions like a wedding or garden party. This was a blind buy and while pleasant, is not my favourite type of fragrance. Am selling a full bottle! Contact if interested :)

Cherry Bloom

I've been craving to test this one and finally got a decant. Straight bubblebum (the plastic that wraps the gum included). It's nice and interesting, a bit headache and nausea inducing, at least in early summer like now. I've learnt from my experiences not to judge a perfume before wearing at least 2-3 times. But, smelling my wrist only, and judging from 1st and 2nd impression I would not get a full bottle. At least not for now. Not bad at all but not smth I would purchase.

AnlisaC

A Tuberose bomb! Tuberose is my favorite floral in a fragrance. I love the creaminess it gives off, almost bubblegummy. This is no exception, I do get the tuberose and the yellow floral and nothing else! That is all that comes out on my skin. Tuberose Imperial lasts forever! Sillage is excellent. This would be a great wedding day scent or garden party luncheon. I believe this can be worn day or night. Also unisex in my opinion. I love that a fragrance with this price tag has such a projection and sillage. Highly recommended 10/10

venusbruises

Why oh why did I not check the notes before ordering a sample of this?? I never like fragrances with patchouli and vanilla and boy, does this one have a lot of both of them!

The opening is pretty, I'll give you that, with tuberose and sort of a caramel note, but then the patchouli barges through and it all just turns awful. This sample is going straight into the bin, it's almost as bad as the newest formulation of Miss Dior which I find to be very similar.

If you like very heavy patchouli and vanilla with tuberose, this one has massive projection and eternal lasting power. I'm serious, I sprayed this once on my wrist and I have tried to scrub it off three times and it just does not disappear.

Rosemary14

It silky, satiny, like a negligee. It sweet, almost grape like tuberose, warm smooth ylang, and sweet vanilla. It project’s WELL. It’s just gorgeous.

danny777

I feel like this is a toned-down version of Fracas, it is undeniably sweet but not in such a cloying way.
I am a big fan of tuberose but this one is just not for me.

Celestya

A sweet tuberose fragrance, more for cold and spring days. To my opinion, tuberose is the star of the scent but with ylang ylang and jasmine. I cannot smell vanilla. Excellent longevity and sillage. It is bold and potent! Very feminine, it is a sexy fragrance, maybe not for office. A Wonderfull and opulent bouquet of flowers.

Has anyone noticed that the colour of the juice is different ? One is a lighter white wine colour and one is more orangey ?

diluted paintbox

It reminds me of big apple bubblegums we used to chew as kids. It is beautiful, sweet tuberose, but also a little bit sour. Ylangylang combination is great, I think everything is well blended and projection si really nice. I love This house.

antoniov

This smells lovely on my skin. It's a warm and cosy fragrance, I love the notes of jasmin and iris and the incense or patchouli don't bother me at all (which have been a problem with other frags). It smells, sensual but classy, expensive without being offensive if one would like to wear at workplace. It is a bit heavy though so would recommend for autumn, winter and spring but not summer. Good duration and longevity, this could work for day or night and it could make a good winter wedding fragrance.

fanntonyoscar

This is equal parts tuberose and ylang-ylang on me. It has strong sillage, but longevity is two hours with hydrated skin. Tuberose (which I read is not a type of rose, which many people assume, but a species of the agave family) is a super strong white floral and I’m just not into white florals. I live in the southern US, and it smells exactly like honeysuckle season to me. This would be heavenly for some, but for me it’s allergy aggravating and migraine-inducing. It’s sweet to the point of being cloying so I’d say it’s best in winter or early spring.

raiza1990

Creamy, sensual and opulent. It smells really expensive. Has strong sillage and longevity. My husband and my mother-in-law really liked it and they’re very picky with perfumes. On my skin, it’s a waxy white floral with a touch of incense and something herbal. Complex. Not a safe blind buy but worth trying. May be too strong for some.

buonobi

I always adore white floral, especially tuberose.
I think this is quite lovely, tuberose scent.
Bubble gum kind of scent, a bit girly for me which I don't prefer.
And the drydown smells like Vert Malachite (a little bit.)
From my nose, this is a sugary, sweet, pleasant Tuberose with a touch of ylang.
Made for a lovely, innocent girl. I like sweet but this is too much.
If I smell this too long, I will get a bit of headache.

Fragaddict4u

I love tuberose and my go to has been Armani’s My Way but BDK blew that out the water. I get similar vibes to My Way, however Tuberose Imperial is so much smoother. They both have that bubblegumy grape vibe. My way veers towards a sweeter candied opening & BDK has a fruitier creamier opening. My was ends with a Ambrox heavy floral musk and BDK ends with a smooth creamy sweet floral vibe. It’s not as harsh as My Way. Tuberose Imperial takes the crown on this one. It’s all together more refined and elegant. Luvs it <3

Gazel

The notes i get are tuberose and ylang-ylang. It's floral and sweet like fragrance. It smells almost like Monoi. It gives me luxurious vibes. It transports me to an tropical island.

-Sickly sweet cough syrup scent in a bottle.
-Messy blend with indistinct notes.
-Cloying, heavy scent. (-)

Stoicchild

This is how you'd want to smell as a bride! A gorgeous, luxurious, sensual Tuberose scent. It gives me wedding vibes! It's not too strong, not too much jasmine. It won't cause you any headache. I easily get headaches from white floral like Jasmine and Tuberose, but this is beautiful. I'm not even a Tuberose fan, I became a fan of this due to how beautifully it's been made. The dry down is absolutely gorgeous and the sillage is excellent. It remains on your clothes for 2-3 days. Expect a lot of compliments and questions on which perfume you're using (=

valelita

Bubblegum, sweet tuberose! My dream tuberose scent. I tend to steer away from white florals as they usually overwhelm me, and they usually smell dated to me.

However, that's not the case with this one. This is sweet but doesn't cause a toothache. She is delicate and has hints of tropical vibes (must be that ylang-ylang). It's not listed in the notes, but I get the slightest hint of a creamy and delicate coconut smell. This along with the vanilla note is just *chef’s kiss* for me. It is such a smooth scent.

It almost feels like I have a bouquet of tuberose in front of me. Effortless and timeless. Any age can wear this. Simply gorgeous. I feel so pretty and feminine when I wear this!

Nothing is perfect, though. I wish it lasted longer on my skin. It lasts maybe 4-5 hours. But it does last more on clothes!

redberry11

nice buttery and not-too-sweet tuberose. maybe too buttery and not enough fresh for me. doesn't stand out but wears well. inoffensive and not heady. feminine. well blended, nothing sticks out. though for me it can't compete with FM's Carnal Flower.

mendalia

Ok I am glad to see I am not the only person who was immediately taken back to the first release of Poison by Dior. I sprayed this and literally I was back at the Nordstrom perfume counter trying to spray myself down before the cashier caught me (I was 14 lol). The dry down is a bit different of course but those opening notes!! What a pleasant trip down memory lane. I love it...now if it only had that original Dior sillage and longevity. What they sell today is a pale, faded representation of the original.

scissorhandedly

Sweet tuberose with ylang-ylang. A bit spicy in the beginning but gets much creamier with time. Soft incense in the background. It smells slightly gourmand to me as well.

It's refined, a "put together" kind of scent, yet it's still fun - it's a pretty youthful scent. I personally think it's suited towards younger women in a neutral setting (not going to a filthy bar with your crew, but not going to court, either).

I especially like the drydown of this, which lasts a long time. The performance is very good - moderate to strong sillage with a good lasting power. It's quite nice, though I still can't decide whether the price point is justified or whether it smells just a bit more designer than a 200$ fragrance should. I would've readily splurged were it a tad more unique. It's on the "considering" list for now.

*2 weeks later*
I was torn about this one and now I'm glad I got a second sample instead of just going for the big bottle. Other notes are coming through now that my nose has familiarized itself better with the fragrance. Even with a fresh decant I can now make out that there is a sourness to this (not just on my skin, but also on clothes / paper). This would've been a 5/5 for me if not for that, so it's a shame. Not on my full size bottle wishlist for now. Would still consider a 10 ml size for occasional use.

dearaari

A blind buy for me and truthfully I was a little disappointed on first sniff. It smelt slightly vintage. Some describe it as creamy but to me it was sweet vanillic green florals. Mostly jasmine and tuberose. I didn’t hate it but I hardly gravitated towards it in my measly 15 bottle collection. Longevity and projection was moderate, but as I got it at a great discount I didn’t think much about it.. Only when I relisted it for sale then I realised, WOW it retails for THAT much? Mmhmm def not worth that price tag! I sold my bottle. It’s not a remarkable scent. I much enjoy pas ce Soir from the line. And like many others pickup too, always missing that *something more*. Great presentation otherwise.

oceandreamer

A little too spicy for me.

aris1223

Love this ! Sweet , creamy , woody . This made me fall in love with ylang . Debating wether I should splurge on this or vert malachite which are both strong loves for me abs very similar.

heatherrose

Sweet, delicious, edible. Reminds me of the smell of crushed up Smarties candy. So feminine, flirty, and fun. Also, surprisingly long lasting on the skin and a compliment getter for sure.

Chr_23

Absolutely beautiful! This is bubblegum-y sweet, warm, a bit smokey and delicious. The white florals in here are never indolic which I love and they never get old fashioned or screechy. It definitely shares a similar profile as Pas Ce Soir which is lighter, less vanillic and dense and shines through its top notes. What I like the most in this case is the substance and depth of the dry down that make Tubereuse Imperiale last all day long. After 8+ hours it still remains intoxicating and inviting, a characteristic that makes it full bottle worthy for me.

ridgel

Sweet smooth tuberose scent, moderate projection, not overwhelming, compliment getter. So smooth it lacks complexity and goes flat on me as it dries down. I prefer the similar vert malachite for this reason. Still will use up my decant because it is beautiful, but not fbw

ghkim

For me this is tuberose plus vanilla and sandalwood. Tuberose can sometimes go animalic (which I actually like too) but not so in this case. Its sweet, warm, and slightly tropical. It's an original fragrance in my collection. There is something here that shares DNA with Pas Ce Soir. I have 3 BDKs and they are some of my favorite fragrances: Pas Ce Soir, Gris Charnel, and this one. I did not love Rouge Smoking or Tabac Rose. They are OK but not the same level as the first 3 for me.

maddy.cucu

It was love at first sniff. Bright and juicy white florals with some sweetness.

Although it hit me after an hour that this smells very similar to Amouage Honour which I already have a bottle of.

Lovely, classy mature white floral though! Good for all year round!

speak2eileen

I got the sample. I wanted to like it. I just don't! I enjoy a lot of notes that are listed in this fragrance, but for me, this is headache inducing. Sometimes Tuberose can be a bit much for me. Perhaps it is the Indian Tuberose that is causing me a problem, I don't know, but there is something in this one that I just don't like from first spray to dry down. I do believe this fragrance reads more masculine, but I would not want to smell this scent on my husband. For me this is a definite no thank you!

Gotreal

Love at first sniff. It should be called a Tuberose bomb

Tropicat28

I got a sample of this and it smells so good. It reminds me of something my friends older sisters would wear when I was a kid. I see a few people voted that it smells like Spellbound. Maybe that was it. I remember seeing the bottle at a friends house back in the day. I never had it myself so I can’t compare but it’s strikingly familiar.

nuusmells

This was an initial hit of white and tropical florals that went through some yellow florals. I was hoping it would develop into something more complex with some deeper notes, but after an hour or so it was just overwhelmingly SWEET and, at least for me, too much. It's a no for me.

RosaMilena

A nice buttery mentholated sweet tuberose with ylang and non-indolic jasmines with a touch of regal iris. Geranium and willowherb burn off immediately after application for me. Good moderate sweet vanillic benzoin sandalwood base with a touch of dry cypress and chewy patchouli to mitigate the sweetness. Unfortunately the "cashmeran" note ruins this one for me as it gets stronger and stronger in the drydown and becomes more cloudy, thick, foggy, and then unbearably suffocating. If not for the cashmeran accord I would really like this. White floral lovers who aren't put off by cashmeran should try this, it may be a strong like/love for them.

Maksvela

Tuberose and ylang ylang! Everytime I smell tuberose I imagine an elegant mature woman, don't know why. This one is really nice but I feel way too young for it. This fragrance requires a good manners. Strong and natural.

Kaleidosaur

This one is reminiscent of both Gucci Rush and Madonna Truth or Dare, but perhaps a slightly more sophisticated version. As in the mentioned two fragrances, i get a strong synthetic raspberry candy note. It's VERY sweet and definitely very feminine. I don't like it!

Vickalicious

This is a beautiful buttery tuberose fragrance with a very prominent ylang-ylang note, which gives it the slightest bit of a tropical feel (in my opinion). I’ve heard the term buttery used to describe tuberose fragrances and this one is indeed very buttery and creamy. Actually, it reminds me of a buttery, floral Chardonnay! In the dry down I get more of the vanilla, however on me the fragrance does not change a lot from the opening. As far as longevity, this lasted all day on me, and had moderate projection. It’s a very happy and uplifting fragrance!!

akawanis

If you like your Tuberose served with Ylang & Cashmeran, also try J'Adore Infinissime Christian Dior.

Donkar

Similar to moonlight to heaven By Kilian. I like the opening of BDK perfumes but the mid and base are all popular DNAs of perfumes I already have and which perform better. There isn't any innovation here but nice sparkly top notes, and for that I can go with Etat Libre D'orange fragrances. In fact, many brands are focusing too much on the top notes, while the scent you're left with past the first minutes isn't interesting or spectacular to be full bottle worthy.
The mid-dry down smells chemically/cloying.

cranky137

This is Amazing. It is quite similar to Nasomatto Narcotic V, MFK Le beau and Dior J'adore Infinissimi. Very easy-going light and transparent tuberose. I might get a bottle of this.

If you are into tuberose, you MUST try it.

TUBEREUSE IMPERIALE: Sweet, powdery, and silky smooth. This one smells a little more ‘clean’ to me than BDK’s Pas Ce Soir and Bouquet Hongrie. Pas Ce Soir being quite fruity and Bouquet Hongrie floral. I find Tubereuse Imperiale to be a romantic yet understated fragrance. If I were to buy a full bottle of this one I’d reach for it if I, for instance, going to a coffee shop for a work meeting or to meet a friend.

I am really enjoying tuberose at the moment, and yes sometimes it can be associated with scents that are loud, cloying and headache-inducing but for the tone of BDK’s Tubereuse Imperiale has been blended into something refined and sophisticated.
A nice take on tuberose. I can see a lot of people really enjoying this and wearing it throughout the year.

An hour in and the sillage is nice. It hovers an inch or two above the skin. However, my partner can’t smell it unless he leans into me, and he has a nose that detects scent like a detection dog. So, after an hour, I’m feeling a little nervous about this fragrance’s projection.

Yep. Four hours in and its definitely a skin scent. Bummer. However, I’m way less bummed out over this one than Pas Ce Soir. Probably because I was expecting Tubereuse Imperiale to be subtle but was assuming that Pas Ce Soir would be a fruity-floral bomb and thus was a disappointment.

Man. I might go as far as to say that I prefer Tubereuse Imperiale over Pas Ce Soir. It’s quite beautiful. Floral, clean with a touch of sweetness. Tubéreuse Imperiale is more refined, whereas I feel like there are sooooo many fruity-florals out there on the market, both designer and niche… who wouldn’t want to continue to look for the best of the best?

Tubereuse Imperiale: Light 8/10 from me.

mylancome

Wow, 80%—90% similar to Dior original Poison, it’s more luxurious and more natural tuberose than Dior.

If you’re the kind that doesn’t sweat a lot, want to be different/nitch and more budget allowance, you can go for this. The natural vanilla bottom notes that leave on the skin defines the price.

If you do sweat a lot and wanted the perfume stick to you longer, and budget friendly, choose Dior Poison

tukamark

Tubéreuse Imperiale; a beauty to behold. I was immediately interested in trying out BDK Parfums for a personal reason; the founder of the brand David Benedek has a hungarian name; he is of Romanian descent from his father’s side; Transylvania to be precise; however he was born in Paris. It is refreshing to see a name I recognise. Somehow it makes me happy.

I received a sample of Tubereuse Imperiale from Sommelier du Parfum as something that would suit my taste and they were right - it was love at first sniff. The first few sentences describe perfectly what I feel while I am wearing the scent; freedom, closeness to nature, sweet embraces.

Tubereuse Imperiale is a gorgeous mix of indian tuberose and ylang and gardenia - imagine that floral burst! These fantastic floral notes are supported by the sensual nature of sandalwood, vanilla, benzoin - somehow the blend makes this tuberose fragrance so very rich and so very creamy and smooth - so very elegant! What I find also very interesting is that all throughout the experience I detect some subtle spiciness and smokiness to it - this is not your average tuberose scent. This is blended beautifully - I really enjoy the fact that during its drydown, the smokiness is so present and somehow the sweetness of the floral facets are tamed. - This reveals a completely new dimension of beauty.

Forever Neil

First Impressions Watch out Carnal Flower! This is my favorite tubereuse that is so easy to wear for both genders, although not as seductive as Carnal Flower. Very full bodied, although transparent tubereuse. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I love this. Beautiful white floral opening that dries down (for me) to something similar to the white cream part of a Kinder Bueno chocolate. Smooth and creamy and delicious. My partner says it smells old. But I disagree! Its ageless in my opinion.

EDIT EDIT: My mind kept changing on this, but its ended up a strong love and just purchased a full bottle. Blooms beautifully in warmer temperatures. Partner now cant stop sniffing me and saying I smell delicious. So much for old smell! Haha

Luz huff

This fragrance is beautiful, sophisticated, elegant, a bit smoky, smooth, creamy and very versatile IMO, ALL the ingredients are well blended. This fragrance is addictive and it makes you want to sniff your wrist every single minute 😊, please, give it a try. Tuberose is the star, of course. I highly recommend it. For me, this is a full bottle worthy, absolutely gorgeous. It last 10+ on my skin, that's why i adore it. To me this leans more on the feminine side.

TOP NOTES: Rosebay willowherb and geranium.

MIDDLE NOTES: Indian Tuberose, ylan-ylang, jasmin sambac, iris and egyptian jasmin.

BASE NOTES: Cashmeran, sandalwood, incense, Madagascar vanilla, Singapore patchouli, benzoin and cypress.

citrinemalachite

To me this is a great tuberose scent. It’s not animatic yet it still has a lot of deepness from all the base notes which are very prominent to me. The smokiness is very noticeable to me, and I’m surprised that more people didn’t pick up on it. It reminds me a bit of By the Fireplace, although they are totally different scents and By the Fireplace is much smokier. I can see how it could be compared to Delina Exclusif, which I love and also has that woody-incense-y thing going on in the background, but this one has less vanilla and more smoke to me. It’s not a very sweet scent. It’s polite and not heavy or overpowering. It’s not at all like Amouage Love Tuberose except neither are animalic. It is sort of creamy but it doesn’t smell like whipped cream, it’s more that it’s not a harsh or sharp scent like so many white floral fragrances can be. It’s definitely more suited to cooler weather. I can see myself reaching for this a lot in the fall and winter.

Fragrance Fawn

This scent is elegant understatement. It brings forth a milky, soft, velvety tuberose...not "in your face" like a Fracas.

On me...it sits very close to the skin...even upon initial application, I have to really strain to smell it. After about 4 hours...it is almost non existent after 5 sprays on my arm...so my chemistry must not meld with it.

Overall, it is a very well blended and lovely scent...but for me it's a miss.

This is so beautiful, it’s like a Delina Exclusif tuberose version instead of Rose. (Not the same fragrance, just the smoky sweet vibe reminds me of Delina Exclusif) It’s creamy powdery a bit smoky, a bit sweet and woody. So good, this fragrance deserves more hype than it gets. Absolutely gorgeous. By far my favorite Tuberose fragrance. BDK house is amazing.

xmelldefrag

The combination of the scent and the name imperiale makes me think about French Monarchy, I imagine this is the smell of the aristocrat ladies attending Marie Antoinette's parties.

Tuberose in this fragrance is the sweet, candied one, and it's not indolic, it's creamy from the ylang-ylang, and jasmine adds more sweetness to this. I love it, but it's not something for someone who dislikes sweet fragrances.

The performance is top notch.

Laurelien

I like a variety of perfumes but never considered myself a liver of orientals, usually too spicy for me. I tend to prefer white florals and juicy gourmand numbers if they have an interesting composition. This one is very lovely, especially since it’s an oriental. Had I read the list alone, I probably would never be interested, other than the florals in it.

It sits close and soft on my skin. It’s warm and very creamy, it does smell like a soft caress, with a teeniest hint of spicy bright like pepper, but just the faintest hint...so I think this is the cashmeran, which I’ve never really encountered before. The spray on my arm is quite different to the spray on my chest under my jumper.

I don’t know the difference between tuberose and rose, I suspect tuberose is more green, but I won’t comment on it since I don’t know. What I do detect is a Soft version of rose similar to Stella, but I can’t wear my Stella anymore as it seems brash and hits me in the face, where as the rose here is so subtle and blended. The Imperial name suits perfectly, as it reminds me of some older time, like a rococo manor house. I get a creamy soapy ylang ylang and gently sweet sense of purple which I think is the iris and jasmine. I get a very slight hint of green, especially when I first sprayed but lost pretty quickly, the geranium. Also, I think this would be a very sexy scent on a man. It’s so warm but sweet it is unisex enough not to be too feminine. It reminds me of MFK feminine pluriel, but turned way way down, like an evening version, because of the purple aspect. Fem pour is very bright and green. It also reminds me of Isabel fleur nocturne, the powdery soft and alluring evening vibe.

It’s wellblended and lovely. I would wear as a daily or date night. But my special occasion would still be mfk baccarat rouge for drama. This has no drama, just elegant, understated beauty,

mimi61

This is such an exquisite take on the tuberose, a flower I usually don't like. It's creamy, soft and tender. Such a smooth composition, with a very nice sillage and longevity. Until now, I thought Opardu was the only tuberose I really liked but this is much more to my taste. What Isabey Gardenia is to the gardenia, Tubereuse Imperiale is to the tuberose, a scent inspired by the flower but even better than it.

Q80

Powdery creamy peaches & apricots.

The best is saved for last, this is a dark peachy apricot tuberose fragrance, with doses of ylang, bezoin, & sandalwood. It is a slight milky tuberose, with some iris, incense, & patchouli.

It is kind of a softer version of "Fusion Sacree clair" by Majda Bekkali, amazingly perfect.

This house does have that charisma, beside the quality of their juices. I am thankful that i have discovered this house by coincidence.

mudpach

Sophisticated and sendual white flowers, adorable and addictive, one word: love!
