The best in the line!

Finally, a pink rose in full bloom without any green aroma.

The geranium note is just in place to add to the jamminess.

Dostoevskywhore

Its smells like an old lady maybe a teacher someone in there 30s like it actually gives me flashbacks to people like that anyway other than the rose its kinds candy-ish a little clean very well blended a little strong but its just more mature than I would like

thaochipnd

The scent on paper is great, but it smells horrible on my skin. It has a pungent smell and brackish like brackish water, making me feel nauseous. I had to shower immediately after wearing it.

fancyvivid

I got a tester of this and I usually love a good rose fragrance. This however is just pure synthetic, cheap, pungent rose on me. Maybe it's the lack of balance, as this really is not a very complex fragrance. I suggest getting Chloé eau de parfum instead, if on the lookout for a good rose scent.

ps371213

this is one of the best rose perfumes i have smelled to date in terms of the smell of the rose, as it does not have the slight sourness that is usually detectable in these perfumes. it opens strong with the rose, however, it has a very synthetic smell along with it, which persists throughout the wear. i still love it though - personal preference - but i can see how one might be turned off by the latter.

Elyka21

I usually stay away from rose perfumes, all of them nearly always make my head heavy, make me very tired and almost nauseous, even eau de toilette. I need to use them with extreme caution. When I received a sample of this I wanted to discard it straight away after reading the name and the notes but decided to give it a try. I couldn't believe it!!! I could tolerate this one, the very first rose eau de toilette I can tolerate. Moreover, I am almost addicted to the unique syrupy sweet rose and at the same time fresh scent, heavenly. On my list for buying.

Silverbell

Well. I thought this would smell fresher than the original Miss Dior but I can't even make a difference of these two. I liked the original a lot but I thought it was too syrupy, hence why I bought Rose'n'Roses. Still a bit too syrupy for my liking but I will gladly use it up. I have tested many perfumes both niche and designer and this is genuinely the scent I get most complimented on. lol. The longevity is good for an EdT, about 4-5 hours with the last hour as a skin scent. Haven't tried it when I'm moisturized though.

Amalfihereim

This smells very good and natural. It’s a combination of roses and geranium, this doesn’t smell synthetic.
I smell geranium from beginning to the end and it’s beautiful and makes the parfum more unique. The geranium stops the roses to get too sweet and it stops the parfum to smell just roses.
It’s very calming, ultra feminin and delicate.
The bottle and the colour are stunning too.
Great parfum!

Shanti011

Gentle, beautiful, angelic and refined rose scent. Perfect for day or evening or before bed. As I fall to sleep, it opens its generous arms and releases the aroma of softest powder and rose magic sparkles. My husband doesn’t often notice my sleep scents but this receives “you smell good” comments, and once, a half-asleep, “you smell like the Hawaiian islands.” :) No, it doesn’t smell tropical, but it is soothing and the islands are his favorite place. Would make a very lovely signature fragrance.

Aquapinkmoon

Very surprised to find that this is an edt, I sprayed this on my arm in store and smelt it strongly all day. The performance is amazing for what it is, and the scent is just gorgeous, as you can imagine this smells like rose. It’s a light rose that gets deeper into the dry down with the added musk, very pretty and elegant. I normally don’t agree with spending any money on an edt as I’ve decided it’s a waste BUT I may purchase this one, it smells too pretty to pass up and performed like an edp

ChelleBelle84

Headache inducing? Not if you overspray this. What I mean is, do not spray this like you would some of these insipid EDPs that are mostly like body sprays. This has a bit of oomph to it that you may not be use to in a perfume nowadays. Go easy on the trigger and you’ll have a much better experience. Yes, it’s a EDT and yes it wears better than most EDPs out on the market. You just need to use it correctly.

Starts out with citrus and a few minutes later rose starts to bloom. The geranium keeps the Mandarin orange from getting too sweet and gives the composition a bit of an edge. Settles to a nice rose/musk on the skin. Lasts 8-10 hours on my skin. No kidding. For those who think the longevity isn’t very good, let me tell you, some people may not smell the musk because that is a note that some people are anosmic to, but others around you may smell it on you. Also applying to moisturized skin helps a lot.

I’ve been enjoying wearing this scent and I think this can actually be an all year round perfume which I love actually. Really I’ve been looking for another perfume that I can wear all year and can be my go to in just about any situation. This is it along with Chanel N°5 Eau Premie and Guerlain L’Initial.

Lorinica

Roses and musk with a hint of freshness. Synthetic, headache inducing, I could not spray it on my neck, it would choke me up and I could feel it in my mouth, like I've been drinking it... I was able to handle it only on my chest or on the back of my neck.
I gave it to my mom and now it's her favorite perfume.
I bought it because sometimes I'm just craving a Dior vibe ( not a Chanel girl.... Dior is softer & more feminine) but this one is just meh. Nice just not for me.

Projection is low to moderate, you need to overspray it but I just couldn't do it. Lasting power is few hours, it's light & feminine & more mature than youthful. Perfect for spring time or a summertime as well except high heat because it will eat it up

Parnian.kh

Borderline synthetic rose with a typical musky drydown. Very good projection for a couple of hours and also good longevity on the skin. I used to like it but I seem to be getting totally fed up with its not very pleasant syntheticness. Headache-inducing it can get if oversprayed . Go easy on the number of puffs.

Emmy29

Such a headache and cheap smell like dead roses and Indian powder sorry not for me

jesz

Dearest Chanel:

Can you please invent a version of this which is somehow only the basenote drydown?

That would be 100% heavenly.

A soft cloud of pink gentleness. A total contrast to this harsh uncertain time. I wish this were in a soap, bodywash, lotion, and linen spray.

Namu1

Harsh opening, maybe because of geranium. After 10 min it becomes most soft, powdery and a bit sweet damask rose parfum. Very lovely!

Melodee

This is the most beautiful rose perfume I have ever had. Gentle, luxurious and at the same time fresh and even a little soapy. Just like a fairy tale.

Smeraldina77

In my opinion, this one, together with Absolutely Blooming and the 2012 edp version, is the best in the Miss Dior line (never smelled the highly praised Cherie, so I can't say anything). Rose'n'Roses is a very delicate rosy and musky scent, very elegant and very wearable, and appropriate for any occasion. It is not super original, but with sooo many rose based fragrances, I think it is very difficult to create something absolutely original. Overall, it is a lovely fragrance, soft and delicate, but with a presence. On me, the performance is moderate, but I don't mind topping it up and I really love it as a bedtime scent.

yara.xo

mm rose bed.. love

lysnoire

Delicate rose petals laid in a bed of soft musk. Rose N'Roses is probably the daintiest rose I've ever come across.

The fragrance is uncomplicated, fairly linear, almost impressionist. Rose takes front and center. You can tell the perfumer's love for the note, and in this regard the fragrance is almost an ode and tribute to the rose itself. Truly a masterpiece.

ChelleBelle84

Dear Lovesmells. You are very welcome and it was my pleasure.

We see enough ugliness in the world from people disrespecting each other. They been allowed to do it because no one says anything. Therefore, others who see that and think, if they can do it, so can I. Then we find out what it really means when, “what comes around, goes around.”

Mahatma Ghandhi said, “Be the change you want to see in the world!”

For me, that means tolerance for all, but not tolerating abuse. Here, a person can say that a scent smelled terrible on them. Body Chemistry is not an exact science. Could be soap products used that didn’t go well with the scent. It could be stress, medication, diet. Recently, I tried a scent and it smelled like wet grass. Smelled lovely on others, but not on me. Just the way it goes.

It’s not ok for someone to make insulting comments about what “type of person” would wear a scent because of how it smelled on them. There’s the difference right there. It would not have been ok to insult the people who love and wear that scent I tried recently, because of how it smelled like wet grass on me.

So my hope from all of this is for people to please…. be kind! ❤️

Lovesmells

Dear ChelleBelle84. Thank you for your beautiful words.
I just came here to get an opinion on this and I'm still going to buy it. That's right! I smelled it at ULTA and loved it and just came here to get the vibes.

...because I have so many fragrances......It's likely I have smelled this somewhere.

Did this person own this or just sprayed one day and had to write their dislike. Did this person gave it as a gift, received it ( lucky that someone had the $ and thought to give a gift). Did they return it, sold it Mercari for $ or because they needed money?

I'm over 65+ !. And I am subjected to ageism ALL the time. This person below, well, goes with the game of offering opinions here about perfumes. I have been here since 2014 at least, I think, if my memory serves me right :) :))))).
I have read this type of words all the time. I don't post anymore because it has become a facebook tik tok of fragrance. I get bored with lack of depth.

I have seen opinions here that are several paragraphs expressing nothing and others with statements like it smells like hand sanitizing gel, expressing nothing.

To be honest I have written opinions where a type of scent is more suited to a younger audience, which was true in my opinion. And almost immediately, I received a 180 degree opinion and indirectly put down. I moved on. this person is entitled to differ. S**** it's only fragrance!

Currently in California, those people that are living in a 55+ community are paying at least 6-7 thousand dollars for a one bedroom per month, that's without diapers and only one meal provided. If they have the $100+ for this, why not?

I guess they have the money to buy this and whatever after this rent. And the right to smell, put what ever lipstick they want and put whatever hairnet hairspray and batiste dry shampoo they want. This right has been earned.

God bless you, and all

ChelleBelle84

@QueOndaGuera I don’t usually call people out, but this time? I’ll make an exception. It’s one thing not liking a scent, because you’re entitled to your opinion and have the freedom to choose whether a scent is good for you or not.

You do not have the right to make bullying and abusive comments. For instance, use ageism in your review the way you did as if 55+ communities always smell bad and the use of revlon lipsticks are a bad thing too. People don’t use hairspray like that anymore either, so that was uncalled for as well.

You think you’re so cool and that if you make comments like that you can somehow bully others online into not using the product? This makes you feel powerful or something? I feel sorry for you!

Grow up!

TheNyx2003

Such a delicate, ultra feminine, french classy but not complicated at all if you're expecting something twisted this is not for you ; it reminds me spring but if you're persian as me be careful test it initially and don't blindbuy it cause you *may* not like it; at first spray it remind you گلاب 😬 , but it will go after about 5 min

QueOndaGuera

Smells like the fanciest Christmas party in the 55+ housing community. Floral, spicy, sweet yet not candy sweet, roses and some old revlon lipstick. Spritz some hair spray note in there and it’s set.

Nicole79

I tried it again and remind me something, I was like ..Chloe? Or better the Narciso Rodriguez Edp ? Something in between, they all have roses and musc in comun, Rose and roses is chypre, just like Narciso! Anyway, great fragrance, clean , soapy, , modern with a touch of classic, very feminine, with great sillage, very good lasting power!

Ariete76

Good perfume even if honestly I would have expected something more, the composition certainly reminds me of something I have already smelled... it reminds me a little of the Chloe' perfumes certainly because of the rose which is the absolute protagonist of the various perfumes of the maison, perhaps a little 'less fruity more focused on floral, all in all I would use it because it is a very feminine perfume, if not a rose one... which one then? This very traditional genre must certainly be liked, yes because as already said it is nothing new or original but even those who don't particularly like such "standard" perfumes will certainly like it, personally I don't like retro vintage rose perfumes so to speak. I absolutely like them, I've said it several times, but I don't mind these lighter, fruitier, fresher scents at all. If I had to choose one between the two new creations, namely this one by Dior or Idole by Lancôme, without a shadow of a doubt I would choose the second, because Idole is more sparkling, sweeter and less traditional than this one, I like it more and I repeat I speak from a who isn't a fan of the rose, having said that I would wear it because it's not bad it wouldn't be my first choice but I would happily wear it.

Honeybunny

I haven't smelled much from Dior in the past 10+ years when they started ~changing everything~ and I harbored resentment, but on a whim I sniffed this bottle, was pleased to indeed smell roses, and so sprayed it on my coat. I continued my errands walking around and a ghost was following me; the ghost of Miss Dior Cherie! These roses turned savory, buttery, and a bit fruit-cocktaily. A few days later, my coat is a silky rose butter. "Let me hop on fragrantica and double check Cherie's notes!" I said, lo and behold, I remembered correctly. Rose n Roses is like a woman coming back home after spending the evening at the carnival, while Miss Dior Cherie is the carnival. Glad to know Dior remembered a good thing, and used a new perfume to spark our nostalgia!

marchmaymarch

This is beautiful. Get ready for an artsy review with lots of vibes and feelings.

I was looking for a rosy scent and so far this is my favourite. I was looking for something that was just rosy and not very complex. Tried it at the store and fell in love immediately. It's just roses on roses on roses. It's not at all synthetic or soapy to me. It's like if you haven't smelled roses for a really long time and try to remember what they smell like - realistic but a lot more romantic.
I smelled it out of the bottle first - roses. Tried it on a tester paper - roses. Tried it on skin and suddenly roses is not the first thing that I get, instead I get this herbal almost basil-like smell, which I don't mind at all. Then the rose emerges softly but fairly quickly. It's not a powdery vintage rose but a fresh and dewy rose. Like it's been handpicked mere seconds ago with the morning dew still covering it. Gorgeous.
Some might feel it is too mature, but personally I find it smells very clean and sophisticated and is perfectly suitable for younger ladies as well. It's not the old-lady type of scent to me, but there is a certain nostalgic vibe to it. It makes me miss a person I've never even known. Comforting and nurturing, I would love to be a child who associates their mother with this smell. As some have mentioned, I too would like to smell this on a man. While it is very feminine I feel like it would not be offensive at all on a man.
I'm a chronic over-sprayer but Miss Dior is not forgiving in that sense, less is definitely more.

Charlene:3

Although the bottle is so feminine, it's something I'd like to smell on a man, definitely leans masculine.
Smells minty, a light fresh spice, airy, earthy, some alcohol like beer and not really much rose. Perhaps it reminds me of an aftershave smell, almost soapy but not generic. Lasts and projects well enough.

verahoving99

It's just pure roses. I love to use a rose scented shower gel and spray myself in this before going to bed. It's a very comforting scent to me.

perfumequeen234668

Trying to swap out perfumes in my collection… I have this fragrance would anyone like to swap?

SweetEnigmaticSoul

Omg I love this so much omg!!!! I am almost done with my first bottle from two years ago! It smells even better after sitting!

It smells like fresh, sweet candied creamy roses to me! If that makes any sense lol

I will MOST definitely repurchase every time I run out of another bottle… over and over and over and over again!

I paired this today with Fiori D’ Amore by Blvgari! It’s safe to say with my body chemistry, they are both my signature new scent together! I just adore it a million times! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️✨🥰

vaanille

If you're usually into gourmands but are interested in a floral, try this out. I agree with reviewer Blackcat below -- I'm also a vanilla / sweets fan, but I love this perfume. I was gifted this and I was surprised at how much it appeals to my nose. Maybe it's because it's a warmer rose/floral, and is not at all old-fashioned. Lightly powdery and musky, and a little brightness from the citrus notes that was harder to pick up at first...it's just a young, pretty, sweet and simple take on roses and yet it's sophisticated and romantic. Very elegant and sexy. No complaints.

Blackcat808

I'm not entirely sure why I like this scent so much as I'm a hardcore sweet and vanilla fan (this perfume being neither) but somehow I do. I don't always agree with the listed or order of the accords on here but they're accurate this time because that's exactly what I get. It's a supremely feminine, zesty modern rose - not at all the "dated" type. A nice deviation from my typical sweet fruity florals and vanilla-heavy fragrances when I want to smell a bit more "sophisticated" without feeling like I'm trying too hard.

Lovely, flirty, feminine, clean, fresh, even a bit lively are all adjectives I'd use to sum up Rose n' Roses. A spring-leaning scent that's ultimately versatile enough to be worn year-round or even as a signature scent and although an EDT - it outperforms some EDP's producing a noticeable scent bubble and trail that follows you nicely throughout the day. A fragrance the vast majority of people will find pleasant as there's a certain allure to it that isn't so overt.

AinoKaroliina

I sense the geranium and bergamot first, smells fresh and natural.

The roses emerge soon. Sweet, fragrant roses. Not vintage-style rose notes, but beautiful, dewy, fresh pink roses.

The musk is very subtle like in all the Miss Diors I have tried.

A simple scent, but very pleasant, feminine and sophisticated.

I think the name of this fragrance is cute, even though this does not have a rock/edgy vibe.

rachelv

Starts off as a somewhat fresh rose scent which is very nice but not strong. Then it quickly turns into a very musky, sweet, warm, chypre-y, powdery rose, and stays like this for hours, before everything disappears except the sweet powdery musk. Good longevity, not overpowering or cloying, and I suppose this is a mark of the quality of the rose fragrance they use for this perfume. I can never overdo it no matter how many sprays I put on. Rose fragrance supposedly has antidepressant mood-lifting qualities and maybe it's true. I can't say it is a bad fragrance and I do feel quite well wearing it even on a cold, miserable winter day as today.

MayTCS

Amei essa fragrância, está com certeza entre meus favoritos 🥰

blambodee

"You smell like a million roses bathed in rock and roll" to quote Lana Del Rey. Deep, sweet, fresh, rose on the vine, romantic, feminine, wild and free. It's a citrusy rose mix, it's not sexy deep red rose, but pink and morning dew roses. It just gets better and better as you go about your day.

mila.amare

This fragrance is nice, simple, it’s nothing special. It has quite an apparent green note in the opening which I don’t really like, then you get a bit of toilet cleaner. That being said; the dry down is actually really pleasant, simple elegant rose with a little musk. Is it worth its price? Probably not, but is it nice? Yeah. Wouldn’t personally wear it but I think it would smell nice on others

Graceodee

English pear and freesia . Almost identical

floralscents88

I read so many lovely reviews i decided to blind buy.
early morning/8degrees cool spring day.
on my skin, first blast/1 spray, is so sharp and synthethic. where's the rose? i waited and waited 'til drydown and finally it turned into a soft sweet floral.
On clothing, same day, same time. first blast/1spray is almost like sharp nail polish like(if that makes sense). waited for drydown, and its a less synthetic floral.
will revisit on December(summer here) and hopefully i can amend my review on a positive note.

rene.saller

A pretty, citrussy, soft, demure geranium-rose fragrance that is quite faint on my skin, despite generous application. I might be too accustomed to EDP formulations, which offer more bang for the buck. This EDT is undeniably pleasant, but I don't really consider it FBW. The packaging is pretty, but it looks like the sort of rollerball that should be on your vanity, not clunking around in your purse (it's pretty heavy glass). I find the name of the perfume very dumb, as if they were going for some kind of Guns n Roses vibe, which doesn't work with everything else. But if I found a good deal on the EDP I might buy it, since my main objection to this is the lack of sillage, at least in the EDT/rollerball form.

It's interesting to contrast this with Nirvana Rose or Rose Flash by Tauer. This rose is the virginal ingenue version of those darker, jammier roses. Perhaps the rose that would be sacrificed in the Olsen Twins' dark sylvan rituals.

merlotwinez

smells like hugging a person while wearing a rose perfume. it is very warm, one of the best rose fragrances in the designer category. definetly a cold weather perfume. also this is not refreshing at all

soapycast

The best miss Dior. Fresh, sparkling roses sprinkled with morning dew. It’s refreshing and smooth, springtime in a bottle

cgaleb

This is very pretty, although not my favorite rose scent. My favorite part of it is the opening where it is rosey and fresh, however as it dries down more of the musk takes over and I like it less. In my opinion it becomes kind of powdery and “perfumey”. However, my daughter is also wearing some of my sample and I will say the silage is nice on this one compared to just sniffing it on yourself. Overall, this is a pretty rose perfume with a lot of musk that lasts ok, smells great in the air and would work well for someone wanting something super feminine. Be prepared to reapply/overspray as performance is 4 hours max.

beaucafea

A nice spin of the original perfume. The roses make it fresher, but its still very light and feminine.

RaggedyAnn

I'm vintage and I don't think this is a vintage rose at all. It's a fresh pink rose still on the vine and a gentle bouquet. Very nice and feminine and a safe blind buy for rose enthusiasts.

juniperlilacs

I so wanted to love this, I’ve been searching for a bright yet soft and natural ‘purely roses’ scent for a long time in this current landscape of rose hate (Maybe I want to smell like your grandma! Let me have this!) and at first I thought I’d found it at last. Turns out I accidentally made a perfect rose perfume by spraying a sample of this and a sample of OG La Vie Est Belle on two separate cards and then putting them in the same pocket by mistake. Eventually (days later when I found them again) they became indistinguishable but beautiful so I went back to the store the next week and sprayed one on each wrist. I was absolutely repelled! Like somebody described roses to an AI but forgot to mention they were not made of plastic. All the softness had come from cross contamination with LVEB, instead it was truly screechy and cheap smelling. Instead of “grandma” I smelled like an over-spraying 13yo girl with a supermarket deodorant after gym class. Likewise LVEB without Roses was nice but had lost the addictive quality the mix had given it, and faded back to a very ‘safe’ perfume.

So definitely test this first, and if you’re curious definitely try mixing it with LVEB - I’m almost tempted to buy both just to do that!

saktiiwolfe

Do you remember that time in the 1980s when Barbie donned a hot pink power suit, grabbed her briefcase, and became a high-powered businesswoman? Well, I'm pretty sure that this is the scent she wore. Commanding and authoritative, but in a distinctly feminine way. This is the smell of a successful woman who doesn't ever feel the need to compromise her hyper feminity when going out to demand exactly what she wants from life. She will decorate the whole office in pink, roses, and splashes of bright white gold, and it will just make you want to work harder for her. After all, she's the boss, and everything she does is a success.

Fragranceobsessed xoxo

This is my new signature scent. Roses n Roses is my favourite from the Miss Dior line. It’s a beautiful deep rose scent. I actually find it to be super long last lasting and have great projection. This is the scent of a kind and beautiful person who loves life and the beautiful things in it. They go wherever life takes them. They love vintage things and watching old Hollywood movies. Just beautiful!

Barbara476

First time I tried it (two years ago) I thought ‘wow too many roses!’ But soon after that moment it turned out to be my greatest love of the past years….
Such a fresh, crispy, womanly scent. Citrus, roses and musk. My favorite combination. So sad it’s an edt, it’s gone before you know. But such a lovely fragrance!!

barry1052

I just wanted to complete my Miss Dior collection by this new flanker didnt expect to like it, but it turns out to be one of my go-to on humid hot summer days!!!! It is not the typical rosy fragrance~ which I am really happy cos I really hate those typical rosy fragrances. It leans more a fresh, soapy rose musky fragrance, you can simply overspray this all over your body it wont make you headache ! I feel so clean and refreshing every time I spray this

eausoislamic

Much too linear to be enjoyable. All I could smell is rose, no other defining notes. It is very one dimensional, and a bit of a mature scent.

mejevika

If you're looking for a rose frag, look elsewhere. The rose part lasts about 5 minutes before geranium completely takes over.

Lotte_Liese

This review will be short because this fragrance is quite linear. The opening is slightly fresh citrus and roses, and then all you'll smell is a blend of geranium, roses and musk. That is the full story. It should perhaps have been called Geranium N'Roses.

Frabra88

Renessance rose, clear and delicate, put on a much French, Dior and sophisticated musk base, with a gloomy geranium twist that adds deepness and just a hint of intrigue!
If you are looking for a true pink rose, without added sweetness then this is it, the only sweetness present in here is that inherent to the type of rose used, which is supposed to be Damask.
It is much perfume-y and refined so do not expect a proper rose water or something too much photorealistic a là Jo Malone, in here there is all the French allure and sophistication of Dior.
Well balanced, rose centric with both the citrus and the musk never stealing its spot, just as the name claims but with a good dose of geranium for modernity and dimension.
I find it immensily beautiful and worth of becoming a signature, in the sense that it could be a dignified everyday scent; there is a perfect balance of everything that I like in a scent...modernity and classic elements, sophistication with an airy, clean and "elusive" musk and some contrast and edge with the earthiness of the geranium.
It can adapt to a multitude of styles, moods and weather (but it shines the most in spring).

On my skin it opens with a proper pink rose, the citrus are very bright and add much luminosity for a radient effect but do not overpower at all. At this stage of the geranium I can smell just a bit of the foliage, and I don't find it lemony.
We could define the opening as a watercolor rose effect, more similar to rose water, but there is a rapid crescendo in the rose, it intensifies in both smell and consistency so from watercolour we arrive to something vivid, full of color and life! Now the rose essence is strong, purely floral and a little heady, no sweetness no fruitiness no nonsense! Not even the greenness of stem and foliage. Pure floral.
Had this stayed like that we could have described it as a photorealistic rose, but the base of the perfume starts to warm up and a seriously refined musk comes through. It smells so perfume-y, elegant and airy! It's seriously French, if you know what I mean...we have the artistry Dior dna with a clean, etherial and intense musk. Lightly powdery and seriously seductive. The real soul of the geranium starts to shine at this point, it is as if the rose petals are
embroidered at the edge with something more gloomy and deep, I would not say a proper smokyness but a mix between something lightly smoky and earthy, not even herbaceous but it has a tang to it. It adds much complexity and refinement, so that there is dimension in the rose.
From there it comes a modern and cool edge, to the point that the fragrance doesn't smell so clear and romantic anymore, now it gets intriguing.
It's not yet carnal, or sensual or coquettish, it still remains a serious, composed and rigorous rose but the geranium deepens it in a darkly way.
I don't find the scent soapy or old style at all, maybe classic and as such never out of fashion. It is seriously feminine, but the geranium adds a bit of an androgynous feel, I originally was after Dior Miss Dior Rose Essence for the very same reason.

Performance are very good too for being an edt, lasts for five to six hours and that gorgeous musk endures for many more. I had better performance from this edt then from many edp. Projection is moderate.
Packaging is classic, romantic Dior so not really my style but nonetheless beautiful to look at, specially with the bright pink liquid.
Price is...well they are Dior prices, but I won't complain, I prefered to save in the long run and bought a 150ml for 119,00€ from an official retailer that offered a good deal.

This remainded me very much of Zara x Jo Malone Fashionably London, a pure and vivid rose that turns deep in a refined way, but here the quality of the rose is much more superior and it is not the woods that give deepness but a much more elevated geranium. Also the musk is more powdery and less harsh in Rock N'Roses. But, if on a budget, Fashionably London is a really good alternative for Rose N'Roses.

Edit: I suspect something is in the base of this one, just as it is with Zara Fashionably London, beacuse there must be something more substantial that smokes out this a bit in to a earthy dimension, maybe it is a gentle vetiver mixed with the most light oudy note or some type of incense, or patchouli even, a mix of some of those thing, if it is only musk and geranium that enriches it like this then hats off to Dior for the materials choosen.

This is actual rose essence scent. In the opening the granium is a little sharp but it doesn't exactly smell like granium flowers which smell very warm and give me a massive headache. Here in this perfume the granium basically just adds a little bit of an edge and flowery soft bitterness to this which I honestly love. Then in the dry down the granium pretty much goes away and it gets very softly sweet and completely rosey, and I mean rose water or rose essence type of rose. It doesn't give a headache and is perfect for warm weather, so beautiful. It performs great considering it's an EDT from the MD line. Lasts 8 hours on the inside skin of my elbows and fills my entire room for a couple of hours. I unfortunately don't like any of the MD EDPs much and even tho Blooming Bouquet is my most favorite, it's just not worth it since the performance is horrible and now it's reformulated too. RnR is the best one out of all of them in my opinion.

First impressions review: Okay, let me start by saying that I am not a rose perfume person. And that is because in perfumes rose is usually portrayed as a heavy jammy sweet rose that bears no resemblance in real roses ,even the most heavily roses don’t smell that much or that way.

Having said that, you might wonder why did I choose a perfume called roses n roses. Well, firstly,I absolutely love the older miss dior fragrance line (dior edp 2012,dior edt 2013,miss dior edt 2007, also the miss Dior edp 2017 which is too sweet and patchouli oriented which isn’t my thing).Secondly, I read the reviews here, and nobody mentioned a jammy rose aspect, eveybody wrote different aspects of this perfume and none of them as far as I read here at least, said that it is a sweet rose scent much less a jammy one.

So this was another blind buy, and imagine my surprise when it arrived today and tried it on a hot humid Mediterranean weather, and what did I get? Jammy rose. Sweet jammy rose that is persistent and stays on the skin even even after a bath. So naturally I was disappointed. Sure, for a jammy rose perfume, this one is the least insufferable (yes, I know, this doesn’t sound very good or promising in a review). So I washed it off, I couldn’t stand it and let it develop more, and decided to leave the perfume ‘breathe’ before trying it again.

I started reading the reviews again, wondering if I had missed something, but nope. Nothing in the reviews prepared me for this. And being nightfall as I am writing the review, I decided to spray it one more time before letting the perfume breathe for at least a few weeks before trying it again and giving my actual review here.

I notice a change right away, the jammy rose isn’t immediate or that promiminent straight on, as it was when I sprayed it in daytime for the first time. I get a different flower mixed with the rose (my nose doesn’t recognize this flower note to compare it with a real life flower, so I am not sure what it is, but it isn’t the supposed geranium, in real life, geranium smells weird and bitter and I do not get that). I also get a floral powderiness which was made more smokey-dusty from the pepper note, the jammy rose is present, just thankfully not in the front row. As time passes by, the powderiness comes even more forth, and the rose even further back. A powdery muskiness, very soft, nothing screechy or disturbing the previous phases and notes of the perfume, makes its appearance, silently and softly settling into place.

The sillage is moderate, but it lingers in the room, it has become a very toned down aspect of a perfume, something that makes people wonder, ‘am I actually smelling a perfume trail or something else, maybe a freshly washed laundry with a nice soft fabric softener?’-Lol, no matter the impression it gives, it feels as if this perfume is a small chameleon, a very subtle chameleon, that is affected by weather and daytime/nighttime conditions more than other perfumes. I can’t wait trying it again in a few weeks and in different cooler/colder seasons, and give my final review by adding an edit here :)

EDIT: still writing in hot summer weather, it’s been a few weeks and I tried this again. This perfume is so, so, so pretty. And such a chameleon… I sniff the sprayer before putting this on (I do this to tell if I am in mood for the perfume) and the jammed rose is there and I am: oh no…But I decide to try it on nonetheless. And I am glad I did. I spray it and I get that jammy rose but toned downed and freshened up by another accord (probably the bergamot?), it just feels like a jammy rose in the background yet a freshly cut rose at the same time, it is so weird, but I love it. Very quickly it retreats even more in the background and a warm but very natural and sophisticated powderiness comes forth and stays there and smells like this throughout the duration. It is so pretty, it is so elegant, I cannot even describe it. In a sea of overly loud, or overly similar perfumes out there, this one is so special and so well made it stands out.Not by being loud, or a crowd pleaser, but by exuding effortless finesse. I honestly don’t know how this will perform in cold/er weather, but for summer and I think for spring too, this one is amazing!BIG LOVE ❤️💕❤️💕

Bri16

The scent is too mature for me (for reference I’m 20y/o). It does smell good, but it’s not the everyday scent I was looking for. I can only bring myself to wear this at church, at home, or at special evening events.

IoannaGS

This fragrance has nothing to do with roses, because it smells mainly like musk and something flowery in the background, which soon fades away while the musk remains. It is not for a blind buy for sure.

astralmonad870

This is a masterpiece. I was wondering what geranium and orange smelled like in combination and it didn’t occur to me until I looked the notes up for this one. This is also similar to Coco Mademoiselle or MFK Amyris Femme. MDRnR is one of 3 rose perfumes I own with Penhaligon’s Elisabethan Rose and Delina by Parfums de Marly. Bloom Perfumery has a pretty good dupe of this one.

CreepyKid

A lovely sweet crisp rose that transitions into a powdery rose musk toward the dry down. The longevity and performance aren't the greatest though and it fades quickly for the price. By the two hour mark it's gone and is only a fuzzy musk with some nondescript floral nuances. The other offerings in the Miss Dior range have far better performance and project more. Negatives aside Rose N' Roses is a well done rose if only it would last.

creepy pasta

My favorite miss Dior

smellsoflove

A new found love! This was my least favourite Miss Dior fragrance for the longest time. I work in fragrance and every time I would smell this fragrance I absolutely hated it because it was just too bitter! One time I accidentally picked up the wrong bottle to perfume myself with and sprayed this one -- and after 5 minutes I fell in love with it. Once it dries down it is a beautiful fresh rosey smell, very clean. Longevity and projection is very good as well, stronger than Blooming Bouquet and Miss Dior EDT! This perfume will definitely be in my rotation this summer!

turkishgirl

I am born and live in france and it smell like a morning in france when you can smell the fresh flower and rain from last night ❤️ amazing longevity in my opinion it’s the best smell in the current miss dior line and people adore this scent here

mad.as.ladybugs

It’s the geranium and the musk that ruin it for me. The former because it’s all I get (not much rose, at least on my skin), and the latter because to me it smells dense, animalic and it sorta sticks to the back of your nose and you just can’t get it off. A big disappointment, in my case. For a rosey perfume I much prefer Hardcore Rose by VS.

Kotikina

The opening upon the initial first spray was sharp and slightly bitter (due to geranium which I don't like). I got scared for a second, thinking 'where is that beautiful rose that I liked so much testing this perfume in the airport?'. It turned out that the perfume needed a bit more time to settle in a more closed space (around 3-5 minutes) and then I got what I wanted.
Like somebody shook a rose bush after the rain. The rose is intense and fresh, not sweet at all. Considering it is an EDT, longevity is wonderful and it performs better than some EDPs in my collection.

It is almost a rose soliflore that one could wear anytime and everywhere, a bit chypre like, but very light for chypre. That could be Idylle's rose flanker due to musk. I believe this will smell differrent depending on the weather, but equally beautiful in each season. Must be also very pretty during rainy weather.

LaMiaRosa

I love rose scents but this one is not for me. I'm surprised there's no patchouli in the base notes because I get a heavy, earthy and mature smell in the drydown. This fragrance is like a stripped down version of some of the other Miss Dior flankers and I'm not a fan of the others so it makes sense that I wouldn't like this one, although I was recommended this as a clean musky rose and told that it's different to the other Miss Diors. I don't agree though.

It's not offensive, it's just not for me and I don't get "clean" from this. I also don't find it very original and if I liked the Miss Dior range, I'd rather choose one of the others that has more complexity and better performance. This one is a skin scent on me.

CozyScents

Love at first sniff for me. Ultra feminine, rosey, musky, fresh, clean fragrance. It's sophisticated and perfect for spring. I am not usually a fan of rose fragrances but this is just lovely. The longevity and sillage for an edt is impressive too.

cherrywns

THE divine feminine scent <3

Darkrain91

This is blooming bouquet big sister, a bit more mature. I love the opening, smells like lipsticks. Then later settle down to a fresh musky clean soapy rose. What I think of is, a pink rose bubble bath. Something you come out of the bath or shower with scent. I love it. I dont care what anyone thinks, I love this. lasting stays 5 to 6 hours on my skin. It is not a in your face scent. If you want a stronger perfume, this is not for you. It is light.

supertw94109

The bottle and juice are stunning and led me to believe that this would be a dewy, fresh, fruity rose but it’s not. It has a slightly scratchy or powdery, peppery, texture, it wasn’t wet, smooth or transparent like I thought but a bit dusty. It is also quite light and didn’t seem to linger much. The juice doesn’t match the visuals, a disappointment. I liked blooming bouquet so much more ephemeral as it is.

Oops I’ve been using this non stop for three days straight and l’ve manage to smell the fresh dewy roses under the geranium by putting it on the top of my hands and nosing up to it. It’s a very natural, non synthetic, delicate, fresh ephemeral pink essential oil rose, it seems like there are two kinds, as I sniff back and forth. The geranium and citrus kind of make it smell like peony when you sniff from a distance but up close it’s definitely rose. I wished this was higher sillage but I think maybe the naturalness means it’s a bit low projection. They could have possibly included a larger proportion of these precious oils maybe 🤔, I’m not sure if that would equal more projection though. I am relieved that I’m liking this now. However after three straight days of twenty sprays each day. I need to take a break as I have become slightly asnosmic to it. This is the most ever sprays I’ve used per day of one scent ever so I’m not sure I can recommend it.

rainydays

I was really hoping for a natural rosewater scent with a hint of citrus. It may be the geranium, but I get something predominantly green and peppery. Not for me.

mad.as.ladybugs

A little too much geranium at first. Then it mellows down, but it’s kind of a cold, detached scent. Or at least it feels that way to me.

Tony Shades

Clean soapy white musky rosy version of Miss Dior with a luxurious lotion vibe. Just as it is with the Blooming Bouquet, people should be aware that this one is EDT as well, and not EDP, with rather moderate performance.

Maria19

I was thinking of buying one of the Miss Dior fragrances and bought this one. On my skin, the scent is just rosy, maybe a little musky. I don't smell sweetness etc. Maybe not my thing, but I'll give the scent a chance because it's a nice scent. I think this is a classic Dior fragrance, and I think a lot of people like this already because it's not a complex scent.

Jordan 99

I wanted to have one of miss Dior in my collection and base on the notes I thought this one will be the best because of geranium, I was right smell the best from whole collection, sort of sparkling fizzy fresh modern roses, but it last barely hour. I sprayed my hand at Macys on the way to gym, at gym which wasn’t even 30 minuet after it, I couldn’t smell it after taking jacket off, it has zero projection, I could sniff something with nose on my skin but by the time I finished my light workout I couldn’t smell anything (which was about 1,5 hours after spraying it). I could still smell it on my jacket though. I would’t buy it because of low projection and longevity. Such a shame, lovely smell.

ethanp_nz

Fresh amazing rose fragrance. There is loads of rose, it is elegant and very clean, love the clean, smooth white musk base. I love the large amount of naturals used relative to synthetics. Rose is sometimes a more mature note, but the freshness and brightness and absence of powderiness make this youthful. Leaving it for days, it is still stunning and the rose is still there. Love it, I'm a male and would love to try wear this. 9/10.

Gemsense

My favorite rose perfume ❤️. This is sooooo good! It smells good year round but it's intoxicating in the summer heat.... It's just a gorgeous sexy 🌹🌹🌹 best rose perfume ever!

puselabber

I'm just dying for the mid opening😭It's too good!!!
Initially it gives you a burst of fresh morning picked roses from Grasse in France, but in that moment you get zesty vibes from green and vibrant bergamot and lushious scicilian mandarin that is just intoxicating and livey. You will be transportet from Italy to France. You start out just out of the shower on the Islsnd of Scicily. The intoxicating fresh feeling lasts for about 10 min. But not to worry, after that you blossom and come to life! Roses! Peony! And now you are in France. In the most luscious rosegarden in Grasse. It's elegance and romance. And you wake up in a dewy musky skin scent, and someone left a rose on your sheets. And yes it does last as long.

Nicole79

The sillage and lasting power of Rose n Roses edt are impressive!!! Lasts for hours, days on fabrics! Wow...it is so strong...Great fragrance, i like it , for spring ..!💗On my wish list!.Also Miss Dior Edp....these 2 last releases from Dior are power house! If you are looking for flowery, powdery, creamy- clean fragrances with huge silage and lasting power look no further!

silverlocusts

I tend to really like rose scents, whether they be rose-forward or blends with rose in the middle mingling quietly with other notes. All I get from this is peppery geranium that's been sprayed with pink rose syrup. The geranium is so strong it feels spiky and painful--I'd rather have roses with thorns than that! Ironically, I enjoy the scent of geranium plants and geranium notes in perfume, I just do not want an overdose of it that is so strong it punches my nostrils. When I got a sample of this I was excited and wanted to love it, so imagine how let down I was. Dior fragrances almost always disappoint me, and clearly I will never learn.

MomBomb

If any one has a bottle of this they’d like to trade, I have a few options available. Message me (:

stephanienwc

I gave this one quite a few tries before concluding that I really dislike it. I love most varieties of rose scents and the bottle is so pretty that I really wanted to like it but there's just something really awful in the mix. Maybe it's the geranium or something not listed but it smells dirty and masculine. The perfume also is very grandmotherly. Terrible mix.

UnchainedHeart

When I first placed this on my wrist, I recognized the scent as familiar, but could not put my finger on it. After about 10 minutes of drydown, I was violently teleported to a core memory. It was 1980, and I was standing in my grandmother's bathroom as a young girl - slathering my hands with her prized "Rose Milk" skin lotion with the pretty red rose on the baby pink bottle. I'd been warned not to touch it, but I couldn't resist. I vividly remember the sharp almost sour rose scent, and the realization that I would carry that scent with me out of the bathroom, and with one whiff the jig would be up. I desperately washed my hands, but the scent lingered in the air. I was not even completely down the hall when my grandmother called out, "you've been in my lotion haven't you!?" Needless to say - the scent was impossible to hide. And so is this perfume. EXACTLY the same scent as Rose Milk Lotion.

divinefeminal

I was never really that crazy about Dior perfumes but I expected a bit more from RNR. I had a little bit too much high expectations from this. At first smell, it reminded me of something my Bubbie or a grandma in general.
I would recommend this to ladies on the older side because it smells a little bit too mature for my younger age so, no thank you Dior.

SickenedButCurious

I blind bought this and am still on the fence. At first you definitely smell the various fruits and citrus, almost like walking amongst the trees. It's very refreshing, though I do immediately smell the roses in the first notes. When it mellows down, the roses, to me, become musky and powdery. It's a nice pleasant scent. Overall I'd wear this during spring when out for a casual day. I've tried wearing it during summer, and the heat, humidity, and sweat ruins the scent it produces and makes it kinda unpleasant. So if you live in a hot environment I wouldn't wear it if you're going to be very active.

ellabatkins

Absolutely stunning. True old school rose, with a little modern twist. Performs like an EDP, and it lingers on clothes. Oldie but goodie!

Bloomsbury Barton

Rose n Rose’s was a pleasant surprise. Pretty, fresh and certainly not overwhelming. It is no way your Grannies powdery rose. Therefore it does not have ‘that’ mature vibe.
Easily a 20-40 age range pops to mind.
It wears reasonably well in hot weather and I had approx 3 hrs wear before fading. I would imagine it’s agreeable for office wear.

rezzmail

As a rose lover, RNR isn't something to right home about. It's pleasant, pretty, but unbearable without layering. It's just blah as a rose that lacks depth. It's that classical pretty without much under the surface for me. Not offensive enough of a dislike to immediately want to bin, but something I want to go on and finish so I can focus on something better. Everything else is standard for the price. It's nothing bad, just not for me

Nicole79

I test it again ! For me this is a chypre! Smells classy and modern at the same time. Clean and soapy like a rose /neroly bar soap ! I like it . I place it near Chloe and Idole ! Same cathegory. Same style! 💟All year wear ...day, very strong, very good lasting power! On my wish list for this spring!

Lydiaclareee

This perfume has to be my all time favourite everyday scent. It’s such a beautiful simple scent of sparkling roses which I love. Perfect for spring or summer. The only issue with this perfume is that it doesn’t last more than a couple hours but for me that’s a small price to pay:)

choskieeee

many say this smells like a grandma but to me it smells very feminine and mature (not in a grandma way) but more classy personally i love it

soso.sofia

Miss Dior Rose n' Roses starts off rather promising. It's very pretty and young, borderline with an edge that gives it a bit of rock n' roll. It's roses and definitely sweet pink. It doesn't react the best with my body chemistry because after a while it turns into something unpleasant that suggests toilet cleaner to me. No thank you.

tamarj

i love this combination of musk, rose and mandarin

natasha28

I'm really disappointed by this one. Its note a pretty fresh rose scent. There is something almost dirty about it. Similar to Valentino's Rock N Rose, another one I was disappointed about. I would not buy and I would not keep if gifted. It's not a bright sweet fresh rose, it smells like something I could make myself with the roses here in NB. It might be good for spring daytime, but I wouldn't wear is personally. Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming (one of my fav perfumes) and Blooming Bouquet are so much better than this scent. Maybe that's why I had such high expectations for this one. I usually like rose scents, but this is a hard for pass for me. 30ml for almost $100 is absolutely ridiculous! You can get a better smelling rose fragrance of 100ml for $30 at The Body Shop. I saw that The Bay has a 150ml bottle for $50+ and that's a much more reasonable price IMO. It sits close to the skin and hopefully won't last long lol. I prefer rose scent like Nirvana Rose and Stella McCartney

bella1019

one of my all time favourite fragrances!!! i adore rose scents and this is blended soooo beautifully
it’s fresh, it’s light and delicate, classy and sophisticated while still being youthful! rose is a very common note that tends to all smell the same but this is the most perfect rose scent ever! so well rounded and very strong, this will last 10+ hours on me, most people wouldn’t spend $200 on a simple rose but you’re paying for a good quality rose that will last you a very long time! 💗

baby_lotus

Kayali sweet Diamond pink pepper is preferred by me over this as kayali sdpp is more complex, fun, effervescent, and sparkling. But if ksdpp was ever d/c I'd buy this.

Margarita23

A beautiful, classy, not too sweet rose scent crafted with traditional Dior finesse. There are hundreds of rose based frags out there but this one is rather special. Longevity is good, quality is unmistakeable but it is quite pricey!

hollyoaks321

This is such a beautiful fresh classy fragrance I chose this as my wedding fragrance its just so beautiful and fresh with some rose and musk I LOVE IT.
If you like fresh, classy, romantic, innocent & fresh perfumes you would loveeeee this.10/10

typeonegative333

I do not see myself repurchasing this IF I even get through the bottle, it's too old-fashioned. It's pretty, but do I really wanna smell 95?

Lydiaclareee

All time favourite perfume. If you love fresh, classy, floral scents you will love this. It’s classy and elegant smelling with the rose, but it has this fresh modern touch to the scent which doesn’t make it smell like an old ladies perfume. After wearing for a couple hours, it dries down into a gorgeous musky scent. I will always re purchase this perfume!

Fire_Rabbit

A beautiful fresh rose and citrus fragrance.

gretta

I agree with another reviewer below. The opening was nice but the dry down turned to antique potpourri on my skin.

ivanovamariyana97

To me this is a nice day perfume for all seasons maybe except from spring as I personally prefer floral scents during different seasons of the year and not during springtime. The longevity is very good even though after a few hours it becomes a skin scent if that makes sense. I have smelled it on my friend and even though I thought that it’s a basic “rose scent” it was quite pleasant how it blends with the musk.

candyxoxo589

A powdery rose scent. Definitely a daytime scent, and also innocent too.

It's perfect for going out for brunch or for a picnic, or a quick visit to the library.

Lasting power is long lasting. I like it. It's not my personal taste, but still impresses me.

belinda.1

Quite a nice, lightweight rose-floral, but not distinctive enough among rose fragrances to justify a purchase when I already have others. Interestingly, I loathe regular Miss Dior.

CherylTomaatje

A generic rose scented perfume with nothing special to it.. My partner told me I smelled like air freshener when I walked into the room (!)🙈

miss_malsomalso

When I bought it in 2020, when it was released, I liked it better. I think it's a nice perfume for spring, but as other reviews said, it's a bit old-fashioned.

AlessandroCB

Why do I feel I can pull this up as a man? Lol

NataliePee

The epitome of a grandma scent.

Kanutten

I love roses - big fan. But this smells really old fashioned. Potpourri was mentioned below, yeah... I kind of get the comparison. Opening is nice, but don't like the dry down.

glossiae

upon first encountering the miss dior line over a year ago when first beginning my fragrance journey (spoiler: easily influenced and untrained nose), this was undoubtably my favourite. the rose isn't pure at all, but rather offset with a youthful sweetness and citrusy overtone that makes it appropriate for people of all ages. this is a very specifically inviting femininity encapsulated in a bottle. i ended up walking out with blooming bouquet as the saleslady told me that rose n' roses was too "old" for me and would better suit a woman in their thirties and up - God forbid I smell like a powdery old lady (irony)! I disagree upon smelling it again as a sample alongside another dior beauty purchas; in my mind as opposed to the fragrances representing different age groups, they represent the personalities of different women. bright and bubbly versus a more understated, girly woman. is it generic? absolutely. is it a solid staple scent? also absolutely.

since some people have mentioned this before: i also agree that all miss dior flankers are very clearly separate fragrances. they all smell like a miss dior product, but there is absolutely no way someone could confuse the original miss dior eau de perfume with rose n' roses or blooming bouquet.

softangel

pure roses <3

this is such a soft and feminine scent as jesz said, it's a crowd pleaser and i love it
roses 'n' roses doesnt smell similar to the original miss dior (at least to me) but it's very true to it's name in that it has a gorgeous rose scent, and not much else!

i love this perfume, its so girly and sweet and it's perfect for everyday wear like an office job etc :)

jesz

First spritz: Roses, Powder, Spices, Woods, Warm. (Hot day)

It's classy, chic, refined, inoffensive, gentle and lovely with a soft feminine sillage.

On a hot day, the rose disappears and it all becomes powdery mellow spiced woods.

** Edit *" On a cool/lightly warm day, the rose emerges for me, with Chanel-Allure-Like soft citrus and the powder is extremely light at this temperature.

Chemistry / temperature /humidity really really alter this one.

Shinibi

It is a lovely rosey perfume. It's quite likable and cute but a little too generic for me for a price. I enjoyed it but I wouldnt buy it again

ohmyitsabbey

This is the perfume equivalent of a lager beer: likeable, not challenging in any way. I love lager beers, and I love this perfume. It smells like clean laundry and fresh roses and it makes me feel like I have my life together. Why overthink it?

EspressoAddict

I disliked it since the moment it launched and i tried it on. I disliked it again last year when in a desperate bid for a new rosey signature scent i tried it on again. And I disliked it. Few months ago i came in the possession of a sample and i disliked it all over again.

It opens with a cute floral rosey scent, fresh and pink, nothing special but pleasant. This lasts a couple minutes, after which it starts to fade and all you are left with is generic aftershave. A very sharp aftershave scent, that's rather offensive to the senses. Nothing floral about it, nor feminine in any way. I have been generally disappointed by the entire Miss Dior line, which I find unappealing and overpriced, just unoriginal scents which fade way too fast to leave behind something equally unoriginal and unappealing and completely irrelevant to the supposed theme of the perfume in question, but this is one i find particularly atrocious. Proceed with caution.

LanaDelSlay

You spray it and it's pure roses & then it dies down, and then it disappears pretty quickly

BigBobRoss

I hate rose so this is a strong no from me

Very dominant rose

Decent longevity and sillage

Luisa25

Got myself a sample after smelling it on a friend of mine. To me it's a nice delicate rose musk fragrance with a hint of mandarin and lemon.
When I first smelled it, it immediately reminded me of Lazy Sunday Morning by Margiela wich I already own. They are definitely not dupes, but Rose 'n Roses is more like a delicate softer sister with less projection and longevity. Not sure if I will purchase a bottle because of that.

Mona Lygre

Since I'm calling myself a Dior-"girl", I feel an urge to own more perfumes from this company, that is a reasonably excuse I think (??), or,

so, I have been trying out this perfume on paperstrips, it smelled so very good, and yesterday I sprayed both of my arms in the perfumeria, yeah, it was a lot, and it smelled so very good!

I love roses, I've already have several rose-perfumes, but I also have room for more, but than when I was walking there, doing some shopping at the CC at Gjøvik, I discover that the bunch of roses had left my arms, all what was left was the musk. Well, it was a nice musc, and more "but": -It didn't came home with me, that day

yeesa_

mature rose. blooming bouquet is more youthful

roanyoke

I bought a sample of this after seeing it on pinterest a lot (easily influenced). I guess you can say it is fresh directly after spraying. Smells like sticking your face in fresh rose petals while other basic florals do a little dance in the background. Dry down is potpourri. I asked a man (the ultimate test) and he said, "smells like old lady".

Allegoria

Miss Dior Rose N' Roses is one of the prettiest rose scents I have ever come across. True it lasts only an hour or two, but a bit longer if layered with a body lotion. I found a fresh green fragrant body lotion, such as Estee Lauder Pleasures, works beautifully. The real rose of this fragrant -- on a green grassy background-- is reminiscent of a walk through a rose garden in the dew of a late summer morning.
I purchased the roller ball size for rose touchups. I took off the actual roller ball and find it works better as a juice to touch on warm areas.
A pity about the longevity, but this is a rose scent I would miss if it were not in my small collection.

Gemsense

This really blossoms in the summer heat, it's gorgeous! It shimmers and smolders so beautifully on the skin in the sun. It's a lot like Al rehab rose musk but better. It projects and I think it's gone then I get on the heat again and I catch those gorgeous wafts of sultry rose 🌹

Thuchien1008

In hot weather like in Vietnam, this scent is really awful. The scent is too strong and causes dizziness, even makes me feel nauseous. I do not feel the "luxury" of this perfume, only feel it is cheap (although the price is not cheap). The smell of powdered powder blocked my nose, like the smell of cheap fake cosmetics. It's not suitable for summer (even nights) or office environments if you don't want to keep people away from you. Using in winter (in Vietnam) may be better (weather must be very cold)

ratee

fantomette

Feminine, luxurious, soft, delicate… this is daintiness in a bottle. It’s gorgeous and will make you feel like a fairy princess whenever you wear it! It’s very juicy and realistic, it lasts quite a long time and the sillage might be soft but it’s there. It’s a great perfume for layering with other rose scents for an extra oomph 🌹🍇

ilovecats590

Very roses to the point it’s a bit soapy but it’s really good and the sweetness low so it’s kind of unisex it’s a very good scent that reminds me of an elegant woman very fresh very nice smells really good

MrAbbas

A safe pretty roses scent. Definitely a highly quality one, its a Dior after all. A well mannered pretty young lady smells who is sweet and classy. Nothing groundbreaking scent wise but definitely smells nice. Not a beast with an ok performance and its versatile, Non offensive and nice.

yana.levus

On my birthday I’ve got a bunch of roses bouquets, much to my surprise. Was there a good deal in flower shops? I’ll never now haha. When I tell you my little room filled up with the nicest scent ever, I tell you almost nothing. Those were the most beautiful roses I have ever seen.

It was exactly the middle of April (saying hello, fellow Aries!), so spring has finally started sneaking up on us around here, and the aroma of freshly picked flowers, of course, teased the long wait for a new season even more. In a blink of an eye, however, it all came to an end. And my hunt for roses fragrance started.

Then I met Miss Dior Rose N Roses. I had never before given much attention to the flanker, but decided to hit the bullet. Finally! My craving for a real-like rose fragrance was satisfied.

Rose N Roses is sharp and crisp. Even kind of prickly, if that makes sense. There is no sweetness or creaminess. It’s more of a cooling scent. Exactly what I had been looking for! It’s not perfumery or jammy rose, not a rose blended with other notes where it’s almost unnoticeable. Instead, it’s a walk through a rose garden.

Smelling Rose N Roses instantly takes me into a rose garden, and there’s nothing which describes this perfume better. It’s an early morning, sun is warming up the air, birds are singing, and you’re on a walk before breakfast for a little exercise.

Rose is a star of the show here, but geranium doesn’t shy away either. It’s very prominent here as well. It actually what helps keeping rose in a green territory.

I don’t find Rose N Roses old-feeling or vintage. It’s just a rose than not so common in nowadays market hits.

The performance is decent for EDT formulation. I don’t expect it to last more than 4-6 hours maximum. And to me that’s a perfect amount cause for some reason I love wearing it right from the morning to afternoon. It shines at that time!

Sierra_b

A rose based air refresher. End of the story.

haazelnt

I bought this perfume a year ago, and it has been amazing😭.
It lasts FOREVER, plus a little goes a long way, i still have 2/3rd of the bottle left with daily use. (i bought the 50 ml ver).

It's definitely a strong rose scent but turns into a soft musky floral after an hour. If you're a floral perfume lover definitely add this to your collection!

clairelovesperfume

A nice floral perfume with a heavy emphasis on the rose note. It was quite powdery especially on the initial spray. The longevity was moderate and siliage was pretty good. I would probably not repurchase a full size again but it was nice!

t3nlikescookies

Unpopular opinion, but I find this scent to be fairly unisex. Despite the ultra fem packaging.
Slightly sweet, fresh and clean rose with musk base and some geranium in the opening.
It is a very comforting scent, doesn't smell like an elderly lady. Pleasant but not a statement perfume.
I rather lean towards heavy orientals so I don't feel like I need a full bottle, but it is definitely nice.

KMPep

Again with the new Diors: nothing like the old character of this house but pleasant enough. Of the new additions, this is the winner for me as it has a softness to it that the others lack. You can actually smell a bit of freshness in the opening without an all out alcoholic floral assault and it's more nicely balanced than the likes of Joy.

It's hard for me to find rose-heavy perfumes that don't smell too old ladyish on me, but this is very nicely balanced and youthful. This one does dry down to a more musky base which isn't as nice as the opening. It's usually the reverse for me, I rarely get on with the opening and end up enjoying the drydown.

I agree with @Shawtylicious88 - definitely similarities to English Pear and Freesia by JM - much more floral which balances out the sickly sweetness that one has for me - of the two I prefer this one.

Edit: The drydown is muskier than a Tesla in Orbit. Avoid if you're not a musk fan because that's the majority of the scent after 30 mins or so. I've now had to wash it off which is a shame because the opening had so much promise! :(

vanillababy111

as someone who hates citrus, this honestly works so well with the rose. It's pretty long lasting on my skin and it smells absolutely amazing. Not sweet, not heavy, just a fresh light rose. Love wearing this when its a warm spring evening after it rains

Shawtylicious88

On paper, this smelled exactly like English Pear and Freesia by Jo Malone to me. A little less fruity and juicy — more so floral and the freesia scent was toned up a bit more.

Guerlinade01

A thousand blooming roses in Grasse, as gothic as Dior can be with the geranium opening note. The best from today's Miss Dior line.

yuliannart

This comes from somebody who doesn't like musk. I couldn't wait to wash it off. First, nice fresh rose and bergamot, almost crisp. And then, yes, musk, more musk, and even more musk. Just awful. I haven't smelled it on others, so it might not be that strong, but on me it was cheap musk cologne. Sorry, Dior, maybe one day I will have the guts to spray it on me again and change my mind.

Balletflowers

I have a full 100ml bottle of this up for swap or sale, US only.

tamtamyboi

ultra-femme rose. this can never pass as unisex. the epitome of feminine perfume. Chanel no 5 compared to this smells like a men's perfume. has a cottony like scent. my sister said i smelled like a used tampon🤮🤮🤮!!!!

Marisa36

If you loved Stella McCartney’s Summer Rose, Stella Sheer and Stella Nude, you should give this a try. Delicate, fresh, somewhat sweet and innocent smelling rose. Perfect for Spring. So pretty.

TheFancyNancy

Stunning photo realistic rose. Reminds me of exploring a rose garden out the front of a historical castle in Europe.

sonyarae

I personally did not like this at all. It smelled like OFF bug spray when I first applied it then smelled like an old lady bathed in cheap rose scented lotion. I was really disappointed in Dior.

tamtamyboi

good perfume. a bit on the safe (might be disliked by the younger audiences because of the heavy musk) in heat this perfume goes fruity and sour and bit like men's perfume but in colder weather this registers to my nose as more floral and musky. nice fruity, floral, musky scent.

turkishgirl

A vegetal rosy perfume

Crystalita76

Rose ‘n’ Roses - 🌹
The name says it all.
Beautiful - fresh - clean rose infused
Like waking up on a sunny ☀️ spring day and smelling dew dipped pink roses in bloom.
Very linear on the rose.
There’s a bit of musk going on but to my nose that is about all I pick up.
As the name says. 🌹
Nothing complex in this beauty.
Suitable to all age groups.
But you better be prepared for Rose and more roses.
Very light and fresh.
Airy and in a strange way mystical in a fairy dust type of manner.
It does remind me a bit of Gucci Envy Me II.
Great work scent.
Very suitable for warm weather or climates.
Lasts about 6 or so hours.
Not in your face.
Love the bottle and the pretty pink juicy inside.

seliko

clean innocent rose scent, perfect for a laidback spring day, makes me feel so feminine in a natural, non-assertive way

Margreet

Is it me or it is a beautiful Foresty Rose? I truly adore this, as with me rose risks smelling like grandmas, rose water, and I do not mind, but not always in mood for creamy roses. This one is very elegant and modern rose to me. Makes me smell forest in it but its not too green neither. Very well balanced rose with geranium. Fresh cut roses could be.

SuzanneS

Another great relese in 2020 overlooked by the pandemic. I have to confess I had sworn off all the Miss Dior and her flankers as it was just exhausting to keep track. As I tried Rose, the first thing that came to mind was the striking similarity to La Colle Noire.

Its a beautiful pink rose, romantic in nature, a clean bright fresh optimism of youth. A great pick up for spring.

Update: Bought 5oz bottle. Enough to spray on sheets etc.

norhal96

I'm on the edge of getting this one.
I got a tester for it a year ago, and just can't stop thinking about it. I wore it one morning during spring, the sun was up and the air outside was so crisp. So I sat in my robe, drank tea and had the most delightful experience. Sounds cringe but I swear - The scent is like a morning walk in a garden of roses and geranium. Starts off with a dewy fresh citrus, uplifting, and dries down to a clean fluffy slight sugar powdered musk. I love it, it's very comforting.

I agree with ballerinas and swans, there is something innocent and nostalgic about it, also a bit granny like. The thing holding me a bit back is that it's not so versatile to me. I find geranium to be a wonderful home scent, but I don't really identify myself with it, since It only fits this idyllic french balcony scenery I set up. The scent lasts a long time on my clothes, so I might just spray my robe with it lol.

I ended up with Delina Instead

Anitatexas

Ive been testing this perfume on and off every time i go to my local store. It never catches my attention, but one day i sprayed it in my sweater and jacket and something happened! The next day i still smell divine, its very light and soft but long lasting.
It smells very powdery and musky, but this time I actually enjoy those notes in my sweater sleeve and wrist. I got a bottle, and ever since I just cant stop wearing this fragrance every day.
I recommend you to try this more than once. I didnt like it for years and now im buying my third bottle and a travel roller size. I loove it sooo much now.

emgailba

I have an obsessive love for collecting rose perfumes, and this one is definitely the grandmother matron. It's dusky, as if the petals were dried instead of alive. There is musk as a heavy secondary note paired with other dense florals--it's an effect that is heavy, somber, and distinctly nighttime potpourri (falling a bit short of an oppressive funeral parlor, though the image still came to mind). The maturity of this fragrance leaves me wishing for a citrus or mint lift, but it's still lovely, though mature. I doubt I'll sell it, but I can't see myself wearing this much as I tend to prefer cold florals. My favorite pairing of rose and musk is probably Montale's Roses Musk, but I think I probably just prefer jasmine to geranium.

typeonegative333

It truly devastates me to make this review, I had seen many raving about this fragrance and decided to blind buy it (never a good idea, please don't ever purchase an expensive fragrance without testing it first) and it smells awful. Pure baby powder and cleaning agent, rose where? Unfortunately, the longevity is excellent - which was not desired. Dior has many delightful fragrances I adore, this is not one of them. To each their own though, we are all entitled to different opinions. :)

Atomikbomb_

This is very delicate and proportionate to the marketing. It's a sweet rose, clear, transparent and very pink.

It doesn't retain much of the quirky elements of geranium or rose; nothing prickly or sharp. Nothing very green at all, which renders this quite an unchallenging and approachable rose. It is generic (people get so bothered by that term, I don't care), but something like this can be oddly comforting. It's also clear to me that there's little to no real essential oils in here (this isn't a criticism), it does smell lab created, but it's a quality synthetic. A cubic zirconia...if you will.

It's a pillowy, hyper-clean, laundry musk at it's dry stages. And it smells like a conscientious, pretty, but unpretentious lady. It doesn't make my heart soar, but I like it. 🌹

mylesz

princesses, ballerinas, swans and angels

very powdery, musky rose. romantic, dainty and elegant. very good lasting power, reminds me of something juliet would wear in romeo and juilet.

fyetan

Rose and geranium, which combine to produce an herby, grassy rose. You get the actual garden, instead of the cut flower.
Very slight transition as the top fades and it gets less sparkly, but in general it is a linear perfume.

Sillage is moderate, longevity is low-medium (3 hours and skin scent).
Doesn't seem a Miss Dior fragrance for how generic and average it is. It's very pleasant but not outstanding or unique.

CurlGurl

It's shocking how similar this is to La Colle Noire which I have. La Colle Noire is a bit sharper and more floral garden, where as Rose n' Roses is a bit sweeter, but very pungent and the citrus is bright. I can't imagine why some people say they can't smell this on themselves. It's. Strong. So very very pretty. I prefer it over MFK L'eau A La Rose which I have also, and I prefer the price tag too.

Elinorjohanse

Classic, elegant roses with fresh spice. The rollerball version is better than the spray tho!

Katv2003

This smells exactly like it says, roses. It is very classic and elegant, smells just like actual natural roses, it doesn't smell synthetic to me at all. The longevity is also pretty good. I would not recommend this as a blind buy tho since it is very unique and strong. For example, for me it gets really too strong after a bit of wear and make me a little nauseous sadly. It smelt beautiful on my mom but on me its too strong.

TillyWave

Winter Roses

So bright, so pink, so sweet, so girly...Right? Oooh I think Dior could have had a more edgy, unconventional presentation for Rose & Roses, but the basic pink packaging does not express what is in here.

The geranium on this is strong. This is truly a Geranium & Rose fragrance, not a Rose and Rose fragrance. They present equally strong, and are harmonious, but the geranium makes the rose bitter and strong, not fresh and sweet. The citrus topnotes aren't candied and sweet either, rather they seem iced over to me--there's not warmth but a frosty aspect to everything, orange rind, frozen bergamot, it's as if the notes are frozen and iced over the rose and the geranium combo. Underneath I find this to be more soapy than musky.

I like wearing this in the winter the best. This perfume reminds me of a rose that can withstand the early winter frosts overnight, it seems logical that it would smell bitter and strong in the cold air, and not sweet and sugary. The musk is soapy and clean and nice after a shower, and yes, as a rose lover the rose is strong, it smells like real roses, and lasts a long time.

I like this a lot and I'm glad I didn't judge it by the neon pink juice. This is a nice derivative on the rose genre.

cherrywns

like the girl next door, sweet and familiar. a bit basic, but that's okay <3

reymax

I wanted a pretty perfume from my mum. First blind bought Joy Intense (scrubber for me). This is a beautiful linear rose, just what I wanted. Light and uncomplicated and just lovely.

dvlcis

They make 150ml bottles of this. It's not a weak perfume. So the demand for it must be huge.

I'm starting to see the appeal myself. Big like.

It has strong calming/de-stressing properties, imo.

A must try, at least.

From dior, I find it's the most similar to Midnight Poison. But a more youthful interpretation. Damascus rose good and plenty here too, a certain waxiness, patchouli, etc. all there.

Kroko

Typical rose musk parfum, but well done. It is more modern version, lighter, more youthful than other of this type. I compare it to Stella (the silver one), Narciso Rodrigues Rose Musk and for her floral, montale intense roses musk.

Mahoganyturtle

This is me in a bottle

I adore this fragrance. I use the roll on daily.

I love rose but I am picky with my rose. I do not like sharp green fresh picked rose. I love deep, powdery musky but not cloying rose and Rose n Roses captures it all perfectly.

I wish it didn’t need reapplying as frequently as it does but I will forgive this one annoyance for the beauty of the fragrance.

Morra

Freshly-pulled Kleenex from a newly-opened box.

nickinicole

It is 100% roses, which I thought I'd love (and I did on the tester!)...but on me it dries far to powdery and becomes a bit heavier. At that point it feels more mature and I prefer more "flirty" florals. *Sigh,* story of my fragrance life.

marco_m

Real flowers are overrated. This is so hot. Selma Blair in Cruel Intentions.

Eminnkka

I remember when I first smelled this in a store, I thought this is very strong but after few minutes, I just couldn't get enough of this smell. I had to buy it right away. It's absolutely amazing. It's a typical rose parfume than I'll never get tired of. It's sophisticated and strong, but not in a bad way. I think this can easily become ones signature scent, even tho I do prefer to wear this during autumn or winter. It lasts on the whole day long.

LSAUG

Finally figured out which flanker is which w/ this line. Putting on reading glasses helps LOL. So I was at Ulta today and picked up a bottle of YSL Libre Toilette, couldn't get that one out of my head when I smelled it last time I was there. So I did some sampling. Hosed down many cards, Let me tell you this Miss Dior line in my opinion sucks. The whole damn line is just generic, fake, boring and over priced. They have the nerve to call this perfume Roses n Roses! How dare they?! It doesn't smell like roses at all! It smells like synthetic flower petals of some sort ground into a cheap musk. People you are getting ripped off! There are a million better rose fragrances out there that actually smell like roses! Cheap ones for that matter that are synthetic of course but they smell like roses for God sakes! I guess when you grow up in the country you don't get fooled by this type of thing. Glad I know what real flowers smell like.

FabulouslyLazy

The musky backbone gets so loud that it casts a shadow on the roses which are delightful in and of themselves. This Miss Dior almost smells Middle-Eastern and somehow or other not that pink-cutesy-feminine as the bottle might deceive you into.

Dort0625

I won a 550 dollar perfume basket from SDM and a 100ml of this was in it and at first I thought great a rose scent because I’m typically not a fan of rose scents because a lot of them come off as old lady that’s used signature scent her whole life so meaning it smelled like it was released in the early 40s but guess what! This is NOT like that which blew me away . The first few spritz are definitely rose galore mixed with that super strong overbearing perfume we have all stood near a lady wearing but I promise that fades within less than a minute! It turns into this beautiful almost smells kind of peony on me, and that makes me happy!!! It’s beautiful I’m so glad I won it because let’s be real-Dior isn’t known for being an inexpensive brand haha if you can find a good deal go buy it!!!

GladToBeUnhappy4

I’m anosmic to this fragrance. I can smell roses or anything particular. I was excited to try it; I received a complimentary decant with a Sephora purchase and will dab it on every-so-often, but nothing. Bummer.

ENP Hunter

The note breakdown is essentially the review. It smells exactly how one would expect. It is a fresh, sweet, rose fragrance. It’s very pleasant. I ended up purchasing it for my mom and she loved it.
Here’s what I don’t get: the complaints about its price and the suggestion that it smells older.

The price is pretty standard for a designer ($115 for 3.4oz [Chanel Chance Eau Tendre EDT is the exact same price]).

To me this is the female version of Versace Dylan Blue, and by that I mean it is a fresh, down the middle, dumb reach fragrance with that complement factor. I feel the age range to be anything from late teens to early 40s (because by that time you could probably find/afford something more unique to your tastes). I would say it’s an all year perfume, but it’s much better for the warm weather.
All in all good stuff.

Ethalinia

This is exactly as Glitterizer describes it in a comment below: it reminds me of Barbie dolls from my childhood, but in the best possible way (so don't think "plastic")! It's feminine, it's cute, sparkling, I love it! On my skin it's quite linear, and the longevity is amazing. It works in all seasons, too.

Starlight8

A breath of fresh air in between all the rose-tchouli and rose-oudy heavy fragrances out there. Also not your typical just rose fragrance. I'd call it sparkly and intriguing.👍👍 Although I have the strange feeling ,this will be short lived.

Kroko

Lovely rose, no need to say more. I think its for all ages.

glitterizer

A perfectly blended balance of rose, fresh green accords, powders, white musk and, to me, a dash of sweetness.

Rose N'Roses smells classic and old fashioned, but to me its "character" is not that of an old person, but of childhood and nostalgia. It exudes a delicate, child-like innocence and femininity. It's the smell of fabric, specifically pink lace, like a box of old dolls (not plastic ones) and plushies that is kept clean to be looked at with fondness whenever the mood strikes.

Twentzel

I smell roses, roses, and roses, powdery roses. And it lasts forever either on the skin as well as on clothes! Lovely for rose scent lovers like me! :)

Perfumelady88

This perfumes makes me feel absolutely beautiful. That's like the only way I can explain it. I always feel so happy and pretty when I wear it. Sometimes if I'm in a crappy mood, I'll just spray a couple sprays of this and I always feel better. This perfume is floral overload though. If you are a floral lover, this is a must have. I'm sensitive to lots of scents but this one surprisingly causes me no issues. It's just a very beautiful and pleasant perfume. You could wear it anywhere and it would work. I don't see anyone around you not finding this pleasant. If you spray your clothes, you can smell this fragrance all day. I'll be buying a back up bottle for sure

Rilyn Saige Larkins

What a beautiful surprise!

Miss Dior Rose N'Roses is an explosion of millions of voluptuous red, pink, yellow, and peach-coloured roses and a warm musk base! It's romantic and feminine to the point of being a true fragrance with great longevity.

This is a very fabulous fragrance I had expected at all given the name and the bottle. I’m sure I had sometimes wear it because some boys loved this on a girl like me!

Sannesans

I bought this in Italy this summer, because i did not bring my perfumes, thinking they could not stand the heat. So there i was with some samples which didn't give the same pleasure as spraying from a real bottle:-)
I bought Rose 'n Roses because I really loved it when I sprayed it on. Another big love was Blooming bouquet, but I knew the longevity was short.
This one is special: it seems not to last long, but is does, differently though, more subtle, more soft and musky. I didn't really know if I liked it and if it was for me. The drydown was different. Maybe the heat in southern Europe? Now that I am back in a cooler climate it is beautiful! Elegant, feminine, powdery.
The other Miss Dior flankers are not for me, often soo sweet, except for Miss Dior Cherie l'Eau, Miss Dior EDT and Blooming Bouquet. Miss Dior Cherie l'eau is discontinued and Blooming Bouquet does not have great longevity.
I reviewed Miss Dior EDT.
This really belongs to the better perfumes imo.
Big LOVE

clairesque

I'm starting to learn that the combination of rose and geranium just smells like potpourri to me. Though this is a sophisticated potpourri with the musky Miss Dior DNA. I've definitely smelled this fragrance or similar fragrances on other people, but never on anyone under 60 so it has a very mature association for me. Anyone CAN wear this but I feel odd wearing it myself, as it seems like it's for someone older.

Lovaloo

Citrusy opening. Vanishingly thin, soapy, ultra-clean fruity rose heart with Demachy's watery musk base. It's minimal to the point of almost not being a perfume, like a fancy body spray with good longevity. Despite how sparse and watery it is, it has fairly decent sillage. Very odd.

Extremely overpriced. There are plenty of rose soliflores that are less expensive and better than this one. Tea Rose goes for something like $20, but if you don't want the whole rose bush, then perhaps Pacifica Persian Rose, or Yardley English Rose?

lejasminegirl

Just got my sample of this today and I would like to preface that I love rose scents!

So it’s no surprise that I really enjoy this one. Best way I can describe is opening with a spicy, fresh rose and then it dries down to strong rose-musk. I think the dry down is really beautiful and a touch powdery and soapy, that gives me a real clean fresh feeling. I do think the longevity could be better though.

Thing is - I just think it’s a bit expensive for what it is. It’s pleasant but not very ‘special’. I have a few more samples coming so I have time to think about it :)

Contessa01

This is a nice rose fragrance which settles a bit jammy. It reminds me a bit of Lipstick Rose which is a bit too powdery / jammy for me or Portrait of A Lady which I like at times as it dries down. Nothing yet has topped my favorite Rrose by Ellis Brooklyn yet. Of the Miss Dior fragrances my favorite is Blooming Bouquet. I still prefer Blooming Bouquet but the staying power of it is non existent. The longevity of Rose n Roses is decent. I wish the fragrance stayed as fresh as the opening but that’s often my gripe with fresher fragrances.

Ms Floral Turbo

I bought this recently as a 5ml Decant, and finished it very quickly.
It is an exquisite rose scent and I will definitely buy again in a larger size.
The bergamot and mandarin make it interesting.
Men will love this on a woman.

ioniqita

I'm so unsure about this one. It initially smells nice on me. It's what I imagine a rich young woman who just got out of the shower smells like. But the longer it stayed on my skin, the more I found it cloying because of the powdery smell. Now it turned into something that smells more mature, for a woman in her 40s or something.

I don't hate it though. It's beautiful, but probably not for me. I think it would have been better if it smeller fruitier, but we have Absolutely Blooming for that.

Tolkashutka

Decidedly feminine... another rose / musk. Slightly sweeter than Idole, probably due to the lack of the sour note of litchi. It's pleasant, but hardly worth the asking price, at least to my nose. Longevity is on the longer side of moderate, around 6-7 hours.

For around the same price point (~$115 for 100 mL), I'd much rather have Lancome's Idole.

Hd_Diana

First thought when I smelled this was Wisal Dhahab Ajmal, I like it but I have Wisal Dhahab wich is better in my opinion, long lasting with a strong projection.

Missfruityfloral

Wow. Smells like Miss Dior Eau de Parfum 2017 but maybe more spicy and oriental. More rich smelling. I can't believe this is an Eau de Toilette... Definitely performs like an Eau de Parfum and is quite long lasting compared to the Miss Dior Eau de Parfums. Sillage is quite heavy the first hour. I really like Miss Dior Rose N Roses, not sure if it's a love yet but it's a great smell. With this you will smell like a rich bitch with personality and edge.

MissAnnette

This is very strange. There are no spices listed on the note pyramid. I find this to be spicy and rather smoky rose. I cannot tell what spices it is as it’s too well blended. I’m also catching whiffs of patchouli too as it goes on. If not for the pink bottle and the cute bow, I would gift this to my Dad. This could be unisex.

Tested from carded sample vial

pursueliving

What a delicious fragrance! I love this fragrance and I'm not even fond of roses. Yes, Roses N Roses N Roses N Roses I can't get enough! It's an elegant, upscale rose smell not cheap at all, no headaches. I have Dior Poison Girl and Hypnotic Poison and thought I'd dip my toe into the florals and I'm so glad I did. I'd wear this Spring and Summer and maaaaaybe winter in the middle of winter with lots of snow nothing like a bunch of roses. I give this a 10 for sure. Another quality scent from Dior.

Fleur divina

I love it… a beautiful rose perfume, better performance than EDT like Blooming Bouquet. I love Blooming too but it has no longevity. This one lingers on for hours and sillage is also stronger even though it’s an EDT too. The dry down is awesome too, soft patchouli and musk and of course beautiful rose. It’s fresh, summery, light and a refreshing take on rose. I already bought 2 bottles.

autel_blanc

What a surprise! Voluptuous red roses and a lot of dry patchouli! In the drydown, I do get some soapy notes as well mixed with some sort of a cold metallic smell. This is a very classy, grown-up fragrance I did not expect at all given the name and the bottle. I’m not sure if I’d wear it myself, but definitely would like to smell it on other women!

temo

Nice blend! Hidden patchouli I think, & some spices tucked in with that geranium and of course, rose. This is my second go around with this fragrance and I missed those nuances the first time! It is a definitely a “compliment-getter” from strangers. Performs more like an Eau de Parfum for me, as it is lasting.
