I bought this one about a week ago, sampled it at the store first and wasn’t too sure about it due to it being a straight up floral. I’m a jasmine lover, all of my perfumes have jasmine in but they are mixed with fruits and sweetness. My only other floral jasmine is alien EDT which has mandarin and orange in there which you can really detect. That is not one I would wear for the day time though…

but when it comes to gorgeous jasmine it is just one big jasmine BOMB from start to finish on me, (the clue is in the name but a lot of people have said the jasmine isn’t that strong) I can also notice the rose though as it dries down but mostly the jasmine. I kept getting whiffs of this all day from the sample and really started to like it more and more. So much so that I went back and purchased the 100ml gift set.

It’s fresh, clean and reminds me of holidays. It reminds me of being in the sun all day, getting showered, putting a beautiful floaty dress on and spritzing this before you go out for food and drinks in the evening. We have reached summer in the uk and are having a few days of nice sunny warm weather and gorgeous jasmine is perfect! I’m wearing it a lot during the day, it’s really refreshing. I know a lot of people have said it smells like soap or laundry detergent and I might be the only one who says this….but it also reminds me of suntan lotion, I think it’s just because it has that summer vibe too it.

On me this is absolute beast mode, I only need a little bit of this because it projects like mad and it lasts soooooooooo long on me. I can smell it for hours and hours!

If you’re not sure about this one at first, spray and let it settle, don’t write it off too quickly because if you are looking for a fresh, clean, summer scent then this could be what you are looking for. 😊

i am a big jasmine lover, and im always on the hunt for jasmine-dominated fragrances. flora gorgeous jasmine is a fresher type of jasmine rather than indolic and animalic to my nose. i have a sample of this from last year and she was fresh, light, and soft from what i remember. i just sprayed it again recently and it was surprisingly sweet? i dont recall it being this sweet from when i first tried it. overall, very soft and safe jasmine scent (obv for jasmine lovers and not people who despise white florals) that is a bit soapy. currently looking at my bank account figuring out how to afford the full bottle one day :(

monamushroom

This is a safe buy, girly, intimiate, soft and sweet. Juvenile kind of sweet with a soapy undertone, and plastic-y in a way. The longetivity is a dissapointment to be honest, but what can you expect from a sweet designer perfume? Still, the bottle is beautiful, and since I recieved it as a gift I’m going to keep it and use it.

ambermochi222

Great jasmine scent. It's fun and fresh but also has a mature scent. Perfect for spring and summer!

ina.rem

Easy to wear jasmine. Joyful sweet refreshing scent with uplifting start. Perfect for spring. Elegant bottle.

denizzlovess

delicious and sexy jasmine scent that is also fresh, light and airy. wish the longevity was more.

Venussweden

Great everyday fresh laundry detergent scent in a sexy way. Yes, sexy laundry detergent scent. Best during warm weather, the jasmine becomes more creamy and sultry then and less laundry. Not safe blind buy unless you love smelling like laundry detergent with a sexy twist 😆

cheonsah

this is my second designer perfume (other than my ysl one) and it's beautiful. this has such a beautiful jasmine scent and it blows my mind. careful to not spray too much though— in my case, too much of it can make it synthetic FAST. i adore it though. it also lasts pretty long.

khboyd

I wanted to like this but it's smells so synthetic on me it's almost nauseating. :( I love jasmine, and I've loved literally every other perfume I've tried with jasmine in it, except this one.

twinksupreme

if yk pokka green tea, this is kinda what it smells like; a super clean, sharp jasmine smell. if u wanna smell like pokka green tea u shld get this :p

Ralison71

I wore this to work 3 days last week (mandatory back to the office). I really enjoyed the bright citrus start on the 30 minute drive in the morning. I get a cross between an orange and a sweet-tart. I'm glad it is starting to fade into a good quality, albeit boring, shampoo by the time I've reached the office because my work place is somewhat conservative. It is almost perfect that the initial burst is bright and awakening for my morning commute yet so short-lived that most of the day is spent with a the completely generic shampoo smell so I am completely worry-free about offending anyone.

deshenychristelasher

I just love the sandalwood in this. Jasmine and sandalwood are one of my few favourite notes. Blends nicely for me. Works well with my skin chemistry. It's lingering in my skin, my hair for 2 days now.

FlowerSeeker

I love jasmine flowers but I don’t love this. It made me nauseous and I had to scrub. It’s not a natural smelling jasmine. I have a cheap jasmine body spray that cost me a dollar and smells like this.

This has a laundry vibe. It’s a light jasmine with little depth, little pollen. If you like soapy scents and jasmine, you should give this a try!

rennk

I'm not usually one to love a simple and fresh perfume but this is a really beautiful and simple fragrance. It smells like waking up one morning during your honeymoon in a big green European province. Clean sheets and a flowery breeze and your husband making your favorite tea while you plan what adventure you'll go on today. I have the mini version, I think it's cuter (and cheaper). Longevity could be better for Gucci. My boyfriend loves it and associates it with being 'my smell' since I wore it a lot in the summer when we met. I think I've grown out of it little teensy bit but I use it anyway.

yara.xo

when i first tried this it was too strong for me, but now i can definitely appreciate the blend of notes. very clean and soapy, sharp jasmine note. dry down is great. wouldn’t recommend bc there’s a dozen scents like this already that are more affordable.

Lykopa

Heavyyy soapy jasmine that almost stung my nose. That’s on me for blind buying i guess. This smells like detergent and flowers. A round and sharp scent, it has a nice creaminess to it. Becomes nicer on the dry down. Clean.

charlieq08

LEM922

My favorite of the flora flankers! This is soooo beautiful. It has almost a soap-y, shampoo-y vibe to it. A very clean, refreshing jasmine and magnolia scent. I would definitely recommend this for spring days, a light, beautiful easy reach for daytime. Smells very shower fresh, I love how airy and feminine it is. A winner for me.

lalalunevail

I think this is a very classy scent! It does have a vintage vibe to it (deffo intended) and I do adore that about it. Looking forward to wearing this when I feel like emulating a classy, sophisticated vibe.

Snicole82

This smells very light and clean. A good night time, out of the shower fragrance.

Really wanted to like it because I love the bottles and would have the whole collection but I only like Gorgeous Magnolia the lavender bottle.

I don’t know if I would recommend this to jasmine lovers. The type of jasmine I seem to be attracted to is deep, sensual, with other notes enhancing it with sweetness.

This just smells like… vintage fancy white soap.

No redeeming qualities about it. 100% no.

chloemars

every time i sample this in store i have to resist my urge to buy the biggest bottle of this possible, and i usually don’t go for florals. one day she’ll be mine !!

pao_dc_live

It is straight up jasmine, sweet, creamy and powerful jasmine.
Unfortunately not the type of perfume that I like, if it had a citrus touch that would balance the jasmine, it would be nice, but it is so dense and creamy... It reminds me of the smell of flowers in a cemetery! 😓
If you have been to one of those Chinese stores and smelled those jasmine air fresheners you will know exactly what this perfume smells like.
I had to take it out of my skin and it's really long lasting, too bad for me, but if you like these types of smells, this one will probably last a long time!

Monke go brr

Very youthful jasmine scent with some sparking qualities. Drydown smells like kids shampoo, but to be honest, I dont think it smells bad if you want to project youthful/inocent vibe.

ShinningLightOfThunder

It really is gorgeous jasmine :)

Nataliemarie

I have a few Jasmine scents, my Favorite being TF Jasmine Rouge. I love this. The drydown is similar to TFJR, but the opening is different. To me, I got the smell I would get when I'd ride by bloomed Jasmine on the lawnmower. It made mowing exciting. Very realistic to me. TFJR is a beautiful Jasmine/Orange Blossom scent to me. That's the difference. Both are stunning. Please research all of these fragrances & don't buy from places like "Ulta" if you don't need it right away. That's what drives the costs of these up so much. If people pay top dollar, they will keep going up. Perfumes like this are too much trouble to make a fake. Thats usually going to be Creeds, TF, or Bond 9s, or higher. Top $$$$$ ones. LOVE this!

alexandraovi

I prefer richer deeper jasmines this one is artificially sweet and gets lost with the citrusy top notes. It smells like bathroom air freshener and it's too mature for my skin chemistry.

Rellie

This is a lovely fresh jasmine sent... too bad it has poor performance on me. For the price, I was expecting more than 3hrs.

peipei01

smells good on testing paper, but bad on me; very classical jasmine; cause nausea

Lindasara

I love the smell. I got this as a gift from my friend. I have never really went for a jasmine scent so this is first time owning this type of scent. It smells like a soft soapy jasmine scent. Easy to wear and not offensive at all!

JesScent

I typically would never like any jasmine themed perfumes, I do not like white floral perfumes - period. The longevity is two to three hours and the sillage is minimal, two strikes that would usually turn me away.

But this one took me by surprise. I got a sample and wore it for a week straight as I sat at my desk working. I had to keep reapplying every few hours but I didn’t care bc the fragrance brought me so much joy every time I smelled my wrist. As hard as I tried not to like it, by the end of the week I was absolutely in love with it. I wish I could make my entire body smell like the first 20 minutes of this perfume, from head to toe.

The final test of whether it was true love or not came when I had my boyfriend smell my wrist. He pretty much hates all perfumes, it’s extremely rare for him to like any scents. I let him smell the first wrist, which i had freshly sprayed Gucci Gorgeous Jasmine on, and he looked pleasantly surprised & admitted he liked it. Then I had him smell the other wrist, which I had sprayed Gorgeous Jasmine on an hour prior so that it had time to settle in with my chemistry. He grabbed my wrist an exclaimed how much he liked it, he said he liked it even better than the other wrist. I instantly knew that no matter how much it cost I would immediately purchase it.

The scent is great indoors, although reapplying frequently is something you just have to deal with (the fragrance really is quite lovely on me). I think the scent profile best suits daytime in the spring & summer, but is also very nice to wear around the house before bed. I’d even say it’s sexy and would be great to wear as you snuggle up next to your lover in bed.

However, I wore this at Disney World in the summer heat of August in Florida, and even though I reapplied at every bathroom break, the longevity just couldn’t keep up. In the sweaty heat the beautiful scent would disappear literally after 15 or 20 minutes. This scent would be absolutely perfect to wear to the beach or for any outdoor activity but honestly it wouldn’t last in either of those situations, although I wish it would. What is going on with perfumes these days? Nothing last like it used to. I don’t understand why the price point is so high if you have to reapply every two to three hours INDOORS (outdoors, every ten minutes).

Overall, I truly love this scent and anticipate purchasing another bottle when mine runs out. That’s literally how much I love Gucci Gorgeous Jasmine.... I tried all of the other Bloom versions and none of them even came close to smelling pleasant on me! Gorgeous Jasmine was the only one that worked with my body chemistry & very well too!!

d_silent_one

This is a floral one, a totally floral perfume. It is classy, very likeable for the office. I'm not much into florals, but this is a pleasant enough one for me to like. It smells professional and clean.

ablesister

Didn't test on my skin, but this was repulsive. Smells like strong cough syrup. Super sticky chemical scent. Bathroom potpourri vibes. Pretty bottle - I adore this era of Gucci cosmetics/fragrance packaging. Great gowns, beautiful gowns...

SweetEnigmaticSoul

Gucci Flora Gorgeous Jasmine (Green bottle) is such a lovely scent to my nose and body chemistry. It smells like gummy bears to me upon the fresh spray and it goes into a deep bouquet of pretty flowers with creamy jasmine to me.

It’s best to go and smell this on your own. All of us have different opinions and scent profiles. I give this a YES plus the bottle is beautiful too. ❤️

Lalalavelle

I keep smelling hairspray when I wear this. Maybe 2 sprays was too much, but this is unpleasant.

Homage

50% beautiful jasmine with a tropical vibe, 50% pot pourri rose bathroom freshener in a can (from the $1 store). A crying shame considering the bottle is a work of art.

Kyadakyada

This lacks class. Just a soapy jasmine scent, no depth.

Kaleigha

This is today's sample scent. I hit a couple of duds over the last few days, and this one is the best of the bunch. It is pretty and light, and like other people have mentioned, it gives me a distinct laundry soap vibe. That isn't a bad thing, but not sure if it is worth the price point if that is all there is.

The performance isn't the best on me. It is down to a skin-scent on me in less than an hour, which is a bit of a shame. Probably not one I will be quick to add to the collection if that is the case.

Luxu

What a disappointment.I love jasmine so I thought this could be the Gucci it could make me understand the buzz and the bottle is beautiful, but the opening is the more boring blast of jasmine, but a very turned of jasmine, damped and musty. In the drydown it turns a generic soap. It is not bright and happy or sensual at all.

babypong

This was a strong smell with very identifiable jasmine notes. In fact, the only thing I smell is an authentic planty jasmine smell. It's kind of literal. I could see this being useful for layering. I was not a fan as it was kinda just one note and boring smelling to me.

Luchitos27

I bought this fragrance for my mother's birthday (she's been using Narciso for Her EDP for quite a while).
The smell on the mouillette was extremely "jasmine-y"; on me, it turned extremely green; on my mother, rather sweet, as if there was kind of a hint of vanilla to it.
It's worth to note that the sillage is heavy: one spray was enough to full the entire living room.
30 mL, almost €90: quite high price, but it's strong and it has an interesting evolution on different skins: it's not so female-directed in my opinion; it has more of a unisex vibe.

WhiteFlowerPrincess

I like Gorgeous Jasmine better than the other two fragrances by Gucci in this line, but it is still not my favorite perfume.

I find the opening too citrusy and detergent like for my sensibilities and liking and the pepper note just made me sneeze throughout my wear of this fragrance. Thankfully this does get toned down fairly fast (within 45 minutes) throughout its wear though.

The heart notes are probably my favorite part of Gorgeous Jasmine, but I wish that the jasmine note was a bit stronger and the magnolia note a bit more subdued. I also didn't find the jasmine in this particularly natural smelling, though I wouldn't quite call it a synthetic jasmine either. I did not smell any rose in the heart notes really.

I didn't appreciate the really strong patchouli in the base and its combination with the very strong smelling and incense like benzoin. The amount of woodiness in the base was just right, though.

Gucci's Gorgeous Jasmine lasted precisely 6 hours on me and its sillage was moderate. It is a very feminine fragrance and a scent I could imagine a young woman wearing in either the spring or summer during the daytime, bar the office because of its pepper note.

This perfume was an almost like for me, but the citrusy notes, patchouli and especially the pepper ruined things for me a bit. That is why I'd give Gorgeous Jasmine by Gucci a 6.5/10.

supergirl9412

At first, very floral-sweet .. I actually thought, “Oh! Honeysuckle!” But as it dries down, it gets a little headier, more indolic, and a bit spicy. Once most of that indolic quality fades, I was left with a very jasmine-rich laundry product scent (detergent? softener?) .. Fancy, designer laundry products, but laundry products nonetheless.

The cloud only lasts for about 4 hours and then it becomes a skin scent. But I’ll say that while that cloud’s around, it PERFORMS. Very strong, at least to my white-floral-sensitive (scent-sitive? haha) nose.

Fine but an easy pass for me.

Mullingarynka

From all Gucci of this family, Jasmine is my favourite. Magnolia and Gardenia are too sweet for me. I'm actually surprised as I thought jasmine is a strong sweet smell but this perfume is lovely. It is like green jasmine. I'm looking for more Guccis babies. Hope more green, refreshing and not sickly sweet.

HopeEliza

Overpowering sweet synthetic smell. Doesn't remind me of jasmine at all.

Giorgos_Natsios

My girlfriend came one day to me from the airport and she used a tester there of Gorgeous Jasmine.
I told her immidietly that she smells amazing and i couldnt stop hugging and kissing her.
Now i bought her this aroma for her birthday as she says is her favorite aroma now. For me as well is one of the best i have smelled on women.

Softpeacelily

A clean, refreshing light floral, perfect for spring and summer.. I bought it on impulse before my vacation as Gorgeous Gardenia has been a spring/summer favourite for 8 years now.

First impressions were good… soapy, citrusy, light jasmine but very faintly detectable darker woody undertones. I am a jasmine lover so I was expecting with more intensity. It’s not really my style as I don’t really go for fresh and citrusy fragrances.. but I make it work.

If you are into light and inoffensive floral fragrances then I really recommend this.

This is not a ‘grand gesture’, it produces light sillage and sits close to the skin, doesn’t last so long to the nose but sometimes I smell it on my clothes after a few hours. I’m often in the mood for skin scents these days anyway especially during the warmer seasons and casual days.

Durumi

I like pepper and jasmine so it is no suprise i like this. It doesn't smell like a classic floral to me. This Gorgeous line actually smells so good in my opinion. I find it kinda soapy and creamy. If you know similar perfumes please recommend me. Some people say it smells like laundry soap, i can see that.

VanillaV

Yesterday I made the rounds at both Ulta and Sephora. This was my favorite of the day, out of dozens! It's so pretty, nothing harsh. There isn't even a hint of dark and earthy in this, I don't pick up on any patchouli or pepper at all. I agree that Gorgeous Jasmine is a "potion which takes you to your comforting happy place." This smells like someone who has taken the time to pamper themselves, and just stepped out of a bubble bath. It also reminds me of those dainty little floral scented heart shaped soaps, classic and truly girly. I tried them all, and this one stood out as the most feminine of the collection. I'm in love with the beautiful turquoise/aqua bottle! P.S. Am I the only one detecting a hint of banana hiding in this one? I know it's not officially there, but... I love it, either way. 🥰 💐 🧼

DariaDark

Oh, give me Jasmine scent any day! This one is on a waiting list to join my collection. I don't see any colourful pictures in my head, no attraction like it was an interesting person. It's not something I'll loose my sleep over. But it's jasmine and jasmine is enough. Maybe I'll find something jasmin based I'll love more. But this will not go wrong with me.

Bharaninakshatrababes

I’m really happy I bought this! There’s something familiar about it but then at the same time there’s not. It’s a very likeable jasmine and I think for people who do not like florals this may be a perfume that they would like as it’s not like fresh and clean floral, it’s warm it’s a little bit spicy it’s romantic. It is Gorgeous like in the name! And for me this is a perfume that transforms throughout the day/night I pick up on different elements of it which makes it really intriguing? While I’m having my morning coffee or while I’m out walking around I get different elements of this fragrance and I really like that.

bellelux23

I loved Emerald Gardenia but they discontinued it so I blind went for the travel spray of this. Not even remotely similar but I knew it wouldn’t be. It’s very clean floral, but it’s a scent that’s way too synthetic, and without much depth. The citrus and jasmine notes compete here rather than balancing each other or having any kind of opening effect to the fragrance. Very weak longevity on my skin. Kind of smells like if Tide tried to release a “luxury” detergent and called it something like “Sparkling Meadows”. Emerald Gardenia is light years better.

SSBurn

It gives me citrus cleaning agent but make it perfume. It’s not strong but just too citrusy for me. It’s an enjoyable clean scent she it gets smoother and slightly sweeter in the dry die’n but not worth it for me.

MarchHare

This smells like very nice laundry soap. The waxy, green, realistic jasmine scent is in there, but I genuinely think Gucci used aroma molecules traditionally reserved for soaps and detergents in this.

It's pretty, but it's boring, and the complimentary notes of citrus, wood, pepper, benzoin, and patchouli don't sing through enough. It's just a huge detergent bomb.

The price is outrageous for what it is.

smoochyscoop

A straight up, pretty jasmine scent. Not too heavy, a little sweetness, a pop of magnolia, and an earthy base.

Madame Le Nez

Something about it makes me go hmmm... I like it. In the dry down there's this cloudiness to the scent that kind of masks my nose. In this sense, I wish it was more fresh.

Julipet

That’s exactly what is says – Gorgeous Jasmine. I received a tester as a gift with my other purchase, and I must say I didn’t expect much because I am not very into realistic jasmine or hard-core white florals, but this is so beautiful! At first blast, it’s fresh and floral – just what you’d expect. Then, an hour or so later, jasmine blooms into more intense, soapier self that I would whole-heartedly recommend to all white-flower fans. Then rose joins it producing warmer, sunnier impression, and jasmine begins to remind me mock-orange flowers, which I adore, with slight accents of solar notes and green leaves. Then I begin noticing magnolia coupled with benzoin, reminding me a bit of Zara Violet blossom or even Mugler’s Alien. Then sandalwood adds substance and creaminess, making it warmer.

Also, ever-so-delicate patchouli keeping it mysterious with a cool waft here and there! The tester leaflet didn’t list patchouli note and I thought I was imagining it half of the day, until I looked GFGJ up here and was reassured that I’m not hallucinating.

This is the best jasmine that I ever tried – not too intense, but not obscured by other ingredients, rather, tenderly supported by them, like a flower floating in sweet nectar. Other jasmine scents often peddle jasmine so much that you would be better off just using essential oil instead. Yet Gucci Flora creates an impression of a fresh delicate flower on a green branch, and it’s lovely. It makes you feel lovely too. Very inspiring perfume.

If I had to ascribe a personality to it, I would say it’s a young girl walking in the morning to her first office job, full of hopes and ambition, willing to impress, but also daydreaming about love. She wears white blouse, minimalistic sparkles of jewelry, and wind is playing with her shiny loose hair.

I perceive it as a perfect day or even morning scent, lovely for spring, cooler summer days, and early autumn. It has the freshness and the warmth enough to cover most of the year except the dramatic extremes. I am so amazed by it that I must post it right away, so no comment on longevity yet, but I plan to update.

junidasom

Beautiful jasmine. Puts Tom ford's jasmine scents to shame. I would still say diptyque's Do son is the best jasmine scent but this is also a bit more stronger of a jasmine that subsides relatively quick.

ArlissLux

i really love this perfume... but the longevity on this one is weak!
3 hour wear for that price point? no no no!

it's such shame because it is beautifully blended with the magnolia, jasmine, citrus and rose!
i may end up selling this :/

Lilah_lilah2023

At first spray, I could smell alcohol, mandarin and bergamot. Then after a while the magnolia and jasmine notes take over. Pretty floral innocent scent, which I like to use on summer days. Nothing particularly remarkable, it is overpriced. It doesn't last long either. The bottle is really nice though.

Linda_80

This is my absolute favourite these days😍
Love,love it 💞
It has a lovely, fresh scent which is longlasting on my skin.

katspa89

I think I found my signature scent. I see why this is not for everyone but it smells amazing on my skin. 😍
Not a safe blind buy, I'd say.

According to Gucci, the new Gucci Flora's bottle is more elongated and is made with 10% recycled glass and lacquered with a water-based painting, now in turquoise. The floral pattern was created by artist and illustrator Vittorio Accornero in 1966.

The fragrance carries top notes of mandarin and bergamot from Italy, as well as black pepper; heart notes of Grandiflorum Jasmine absolute, Sambac jasmine absolute, magnolia, and damask rose; base notes of sandalwood from Australia, benzoin extract, and patchouli from Indonesia.

Upon touching the skin, Gucci Flora Gorgeous Jasmine explodes with a bright, clean floral bouquet. The citrus notes give vigor and transmit the solar and daytime side of the fragrance. And that's great, because most of the feminine fragrances that explore jasmine as the main ingredient, follow the sensual and nocturnal style that abuses the more indolic facets of the flower.

In Gucci Flora Gorgeous Jasmine, the freshest and greenest nuances exude without parsimony and gain the watery reinforcement of magnolia. But, for me, the rose note – little exalted in the concept – deserves a lot of praise. It brings all the cleansing content of the fragrance, working as the base of a luxurious and fragrant soap.

On my skin, everything is very linear and there is a feeling of losing strength during the evolution. But at different times, Gucci Flora Gorgeous Jasmine insists on exhaling and manages to prove itself resistant to time. And the sandalwood, in the base, sustains the smooth creaminess of this beautiful floral creation. Medium projection, but with good durability, at least on me.

Finally, I want to state my satisfaction with the floral packaging and the beautiful bottle of these new fragrances, which remind me of lacquered ceramic vases, stand out in any collection, and are far from conventional.

Gucci Flora Gorgeous Jasmine is not your traditional opulent jasmine scent, but a delicate and stimulating approach that lifts the mood and exudes quality. Gucci hit the nail again!

Thykes10

I pick up on a spicy mandarin/citrus at first spritz. Then after a few minutes the jasmine comes out. It has more of a refreshing feel than I was anticipating. Overall this is polite and pretty, and not too soapy to my nose. This would be a nice spring/summer daytime scent. On me this became barely detectable after 3-4 hours. I like it and would be tempted to get a bottle if it lasted longer.

It has a cleaning product smell, but for some reason I like that here….

The image I get is fun fresh grandma who’s scrubbed up and in one of her brightly patterned floral three pieces for church. I feel like this is best for teenagers and the over 60 set.

Nóra Lilia

I thought I don't like Jasmine in perfumes.. Turns out, I was wrong. So delicate scent.

Ahump55

Smells like moth balls on jasmine. Smells really fake and overwhelming. All the nopes.

Ok. I jumped the gun. Two hours later it smells lovely. It’s just those first two hours…

Elle's Bells

Upon first spray FGJG had a promising opening. A bit too sharp for my taste, but still tolerable. Later in the dry down, the jasmine is clearly present along with the magnolia. I actually found the dry-down somewhat soft and enjoyable. Unfortunately, it's still not enough for me to pull the trigger for a FB.

I've just come to accept that my body chemistry just doesn't jive well with Gucci fragrances. But they sure do smell good on everybody else.

peasoup

another white trash confession for my perfume diary: the entire reason i love this so much is not because i love jasmine as a flower (though if i had it growing im sure i would), but because i am obsessed with the jasmine-scented garbage bags from dollarama. i take one out and have to FIGHT the urge to put my head in it. and this perfectly captures that smell !!!!!!!!! the best straightforward jasmine, such a shame it has no longevity at all on me. maybe in the winter!

jeissi

Smells like a shampoo but man does it lift my mood. 🥰
Too bad the gorgeous line does not have enough longevity and projection. The bottle looks like it belongs in a bathroom beside talc jars 🙃

HannahRosesAreRed

Gucci Flora Gorgeous Jasmine is a straight shooter. No nonsense here. This is an honest to goodness white floral, and what a lovely white floral it is. I've grown very fond of jasmine over the years since moving to a neighborhood where it grows undeterred. Flora Gorgeous Jasmine captures the photorealistic appeal of wild jasmine–and keep in mind, this is sweet, ethereal, vanillic, innocent jasmine as opposed to the indolic, skanky, animalic jasmine. It does smell like jasmine out in nature–sweetness backed up by earthy, green, woody spiciness.

I thinks the addition of black pepper and resin adds that earthiness and warmth, but not overpowering. Even the sandalwood isn't intrusive. The other floral notes adds just a touch of depth to this scent, which would otherwise be floating around in the clouds.

Even for all these grounding notes, Flora Gorgeous Jasmine is light, airy, inoffensive and moderate in sillage. You may have to reapply every three to four hours, but it's worth it. The pretty, opaque aqua bottle isn't too shabby, either.

Jantete

Elegant scent but too spicy to me.
I can detect spicy orange than jasmine.

hpeeters

I love jasmine scents but this one was TOO MUCH jasmine and just pure floral. Smells really good but won’t add to my collection.

heartstopss

jasmine bubblegum tea sums this one up, at least on myself. it’s very pretty and it lasts longer than gorgeous gardenia (though i love both). not sure what is giving me the bubblegum note but it’s really nice! reminds me of an elegant spring picnic with plenty of sweets and teas surrounded by jasmine flowers. a love for sure!

Scentberry20

Jasmine is really soft and luxurious!

neşeyusubova

Good thing I got it. I am a jasmine fan and bought blindly. I have no regrets. When I wear it in the office, the rooms completely smell of this perfume. My coworkers ask about this perfume a lot. Damn it, my colleagues ask about this perfume a lot, I don't want to name it.

Lotte_Liese

I was so unimpressed by the citrus opening that I was almost offended at the price of this bottle. But, I let the fragrance dry down, and I was greeted with something akin to floral heaven.
I am a lover of the Jasmine note and it has been crafted to perfection in this fragrance. The subtle influence of magnolia doesn't detract from the star of this show. The benzoin note is barely noticeable and the sandalwood note is more apparent on skin than tester paper. Amazing!

chillsunrise

good but nothing special tbh

mad.as.ladybugs

I agree with previous comments. Air freshener to me!

ingenpen

Smells just like a fancy soap would to me. And I like it. Very clean and fresh, a lovely fragrance. No wonder it's a Morillas' baby. I don't think it's a masterpiece but it is a lovely fragrance that is easy to wear and reach for.

Thranduil

A perfume with bergamot that I don't hate!

Jasmine! Jasmine! Jasmine!

Gorgeous Jasmine is gorgeous but...

Sisterland: Green Jasmine from Benetton is super identical to Gorgeous Jasmine, and is a touch nicer since Green Jasmine doesn't have bergamot in its notes composition.

I'll enjoy my sample of Gorgeous Jasmine but the jury's out on whether or not the perfume will entice me to purchase a full bottle of it.

sophie sanderson

The bottle is really cute but never mind the bottle it was the perfume as soon as I sprayed it it was oh my this I'd so nice and I need to have a bottle of it

RhettB27

This is quite a heady unapologetic Jasmine offering as the name suggests, and while it is gorgeous I can see how it could turn people off. It gave my mom a headache trying it out but it worked well on my Fiancé and really grew on me in time. My mom LOVES the Gorgeous Gardenia btw so that kinda tells you how different they are too, it’s not as sweet and smooth as the GG. It rides a line between classic and modern, but it proves to be bright and clean with a characteristic quality about it. To me it does smell quite different than anything else. Ultimately I did end up really liking the fragrance but I can also say it needed to be over sprayed to help with longevity.

justcheckinout

The drydown is indeed a jasmine green tea drink, but sometimes it also reminds me of citrus-jasmine-scented tissues that are commonly sold in China. The opening also has a plasticky note that I can’t pinpoint what it could be; maybe it’s the benzoin not working well with the citrus notes to my nose. It’s not quite sweet or creamy, rather refreshing.

Spicadk

Smells like britney spears curious. I dont find it special, but my boyfriend loves it

Eridanshay1

It’s bubble-gummy, pretty & sweet. It’s beguiling & takes me to 1981 & this memory:
A wedding for an “older woman” (19 years!) I looked up to. I was 11 & attended w/my mom & felt grown-up & special. I wore a crepe hand me down dress- bubble gum pink w/tiny calico burgundy flowers & maroon Dyna-Kids ballet flats that had tiny gold charms, & my first Legg’s Pantyhose (suntan toned “nylons”) from K-Mart.

Karen Carpenter’s “We’ve Only Just Begun” played. It was a very warm Spring day in May, and was completely magical with dyed baby’s breath and blue bell flowers. The reception had cake, mint punch & we tossed rice at the couple for luck as they dashed off for their honeymoon.

…And everything I remember from this enchanted afternoon was scented as if it were perfumed with
Gucci Flora Jasmine. 🌿🤍

luanneog

At first it's sharp. Then it's somewhat powdery, clean and soapy. Fresh, sweet in a fruity way and citrusy. Feminine with soft florals. It reminded me of those scented school notebooks wih stickers I had back in the day. Maybe even like clothes softener or dryer sheets but in a good way.

aicwilo

i don’t understand the „happy floral” reputation of this fragrance. to me jasmine makes it really dark and commanding and this smells pretty similar to linterdit rouge, without the orange. anyway, it is so good and i want a full bottle

giri-boni

Clean shampoo. And sometimes thats all se need!

cinnasnow

I liked this immediately on the scent card. I love jasmine in general, and this is a very jasmine-y perfume, as advertised. But after spraying on my skin, and leaving the store, the smell disappeared completely in only one hour. My skin isn't dry, I'd say it is normal. And many other perfumes last just fine on my skin. This one just doesn't work for me. It smells lovely, though.

RosaHoney19

One of my personal favourites. A white floral that isn’t overwhelming and cloying, with a great longevity in a gorgeous bottle.

gbrainy

Spray it on skin before thinking of buying! I'm so glad I did. This one lingered in my mind with much greater fondness on a scent card than when I wore it home for a test run. The first spray makes me think this is going to be a lovely floral with a nice sweet feminine side. About five minutes in the car, I was singing a different tune. It turned directly into dryer sheets. I wouldn't even say soap, because that would even be more complex than that. It was a hot, front, linty washed linen scent and not in a good way. It smells like laundry day at any public laundromat. No citrus for the entirety of the time, I even lost any sense of florals. Just straight up dryer sheet. Which is fine I suppose if you like that. For that price, I will smell like cheap laundry supplies on my own time. And i certainly don't want to wear Gucci while smelling like I'm at home doing chores. Definitely glad I tried before I even bought the smaller travel bottle. Definitely not the same after first spray. Dry down stayed the exact same as the initial strong clothing sheet smell, just weaker.

Alyssa2912

Good choice for people who enjoy soft jasmine tones. It smells like a hidden garden covered in morning dew. Very calm and romantic fragrance.

Flowerfruit

This is a simple but lovely light, floral fragrance. I prefer Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia, but this is beautiful also. I highly recommend trying both if you’re a fan of delicate florals! Soft and inoffensive.

rmb13

This is almost a candy jasmine, like a jasmine flavored hard candy. I think the citruses pull a lot of weight in this while the florals work themselves up. The base notes don’t really show up on my skin. It’s a very pretty white floral though it doesn’t last too long. I almost consider it a beginner’s
White Floral frag.

I totally get the comparison to Couture Couture, which was my go-to scent for that transitional period between late high school and early college. Couture Couture has something that my nose picks up as grape and leans quite fruity where this one stays floral. Gorgeous Jasmine is a grown-up Couture Couture to me. It’s fun and femme and not overwhelming.

TiaraJ96

This was gifted to me, and I didn’t think I’d like it. However I find it quite similar to YSL Libre. I fall in love everytime I spray it. I usually like gourmands and sweet scents however this surprised me. I don’t think it’s the average clean/floral scent. The Jasmine I usually hate in floral notes is not the same Jasmine in this fragrance. The longevity is insane, I only need to spray it a few times in the morning, and I’m good throughout the day. Definitely a top 5 for me.

Atomikbomb_

"Jasminum grandiflorum" indeed! This is *not* your exotic and heady Indian sambac jasmine; this is a westernized garden floral. I like it, but it admittedly absolutely prefer Indian jasmine...I think few things on God's green earth are as beautiful as sambac jasmine.

Still, I wanted to try this because these creations from Morillas are wonderful, especially for a designer house. They're classic, staple, timeless florals that never go out of style.

This opens very soapy, and I actually really enjoy soapy tones, so I loved that 5 minute window of time. But be aware...not everyone will, it's sure to bother some people. It's actually only after 5 minutes that I smelled any citrus, and I actually thought it was lemony, I guess it's just how it comes off with the jasmine.

This is nearly a soliflore to my nose, and the supporting notes all center around the jasmine. I don't smell magnolia honestly, only a touch of rose and white musk aromachemicals. That's really it. It's only very slightly indistinguishable from the real thing, and smells like the scent of garden jasmine drifting across a breeze on a spring evening.

This is very polite, but I wouldn't call it "gorgeous", I think "pretty" is more appropriate. It's relatively safe (if you like jasmine at all), and could be worn virtually any season.

Fragrance_Viper

Beautiful fragrance. Really classy and elegant, suitable for all ages.

saho93

I really wanted to try this because I like jasmine. It is competently formulated. Reminiscent of Gucci bloom. But I like gardenia better in the pink bottle with more rounded pretty scent. The jasmine version may be slightly indolic for my taste.

Jeresa545

Strangely enough I really do like this scent quite a lot, even though it's not the kind of scent I normally gravitate towards (I much prefer gourmands over floral scents). The only word I can think of when I first spray it is 'sour', so maybe that comes from the combination of pepper and fruit? After the initial sourness, the florals come out and I can pick out the magnolia more than the rose or jasmine. I agree with a lot of the below comments that say it smells soapy or like a fabric softener, but somehow that doesn't turn me off liking it. The soapiness goes away after about 10 minutes and it's then a very clean, mellow, refreshing scent that is almost aquatic. It lasts on my skin for about 3 hours and I can smell it from an arms length away, then it's a skinscent for another hour or so.
It's definitely not a bold or beast mode scent but sometimes that's a good thing! I'm happy to wear this and enjoy a personal and pretty scent bubble for a few hours.

04Elsa***

Sophisticated perfection in a bottle. Clean airy feeling. Highly recommend.
Got a 30mL bottle at first, then invested for the 100mL.

Jordan 99

This one blown me away. I didn’t want to try it, I was just trying to decide between My Way and My Way floral when lady came and forced on me whole Gucci flora line, I was politely trying to leave but this one got my attention on paper. It was such a beautiful opening, nice fizzy sparkly sweet lemon with strong jasmine. Drydown is mostly soapy sweet jasmine. Something classy and feminine in to it.

ScentBliss555

This smells like a perfected version of Pure Poison. I fell in love with Pure Poison when I first tested it. I purchased a full bottle but I never felt that same way about it again.
This perfume smells like that initial spray I've been chasing after. It's indolic and a bit bright with a trace of the citrus notes in the background. A shame about its poor performance but it's undeniably beautiful.

Voidfruit

For some reason this is giving cleaning product, like floor cleaner or wood polish, which is a shame because I love jasmine and the bottle is gorgeous but this was 0% indolic and 100% chemical-y. I tried it on paper so it might be better on skin but I don't think I'd want it on my skin.

stinkycretingurl

This smells exactly like getting your hair cut at a hipster salon in NYC. You heard from a friend that the salon was cheap but there was a 19 year old visionary stylist there who could snap anybody out of the NYC winter blues you're laboring under. So you book the app and you arrive on time bearing no expectations. This winter has been hard and it's time for a change. The 19 year old turns out to be 32 and a new graduate from an online hair academy and (this is key) someone who grew up eating and sleeping Dynasty reruns--morning, noon and night. Their obsessive hair vision is to convert the world's hair preference back into the mullet-ey Siegfried and Roy/Krystle and Alexis Carrington bleached poofed hair ideal. And by god you are next on that particular chopping block. You don't know this going in, of course. There is just a lot of hand waving and general gesturing to this part of your neck and that part of your forehead. You feel deeply you can trust this person, probably because the past six months have been a long self worth destroying slog through Hades but hey it's just hair, right? That's what you tell yourself. So it's a yes to everything! Let's do that, wonderful new stylist! Cue 80's movie blurry dream sequence and 90 minutes on the dot later the stylist turns your chair with a flourish to face the mirror. You take stock of the frozen helmet of hair clinging weakly to your scalp as you slowly scratch the nape of your neck where a stream of bleach overflowed its' foil levee. The stylist shoots yet another spray of hairspray at four hairs trying to escape the helmet like prisoners braving the dark waters around Alcatraz only to be sprayed with machine gun fire. You only nod, hand the stylist your card and welcome the hairspray scented cloud of shame and regret that alights upon your shoulders. That smell? It is 100%, straight up Gucci Flora.

oenomel

Gucci Bloom vibes but greener and more white floral, and zero sweetness, not even from the citrus. The jasmine turned a little buttery, like Fracas or Madonna Truth or Dare''s tuberose, but they are not the same. I prefer Bloom over this.

tuubish55

At first it is greener, then getting a boring, heavy jasmine. Not my cup of tea

karinevandal

I can’t :(

First time i’m disapointed with a fragrance by Alberto 🥺

Too heavy, strong florals, soapy, in your face.

I’m not a floral type of girl to begin with, but I do have my favorites. Unfortunately, this one is way to overpowering for me. I’m very picky with Jasmine, as I try to open my mind to more white florals.

Opening is sparkeling & sweet. But as soon as the jasmine hits, i’m turned off 😐

Autumn_Moon

I know it's not listed in the notes, but... the first thing I experience when I smell this is a fresh pear. An extremely ripe (just the way I like them), juicy, Bartlett pear that's been sliced in half and is ready to eat. (Maybe it's just me?) This was an unexpected, yet interesting, revelation.

If I try to peer beyond the veil of pear juice, I eventually sense jasmine (clean, not dirty) with a hint of (equally clean, not dirty) patchouli to ground it. If there's any sandalwood here, my nose isn't picking it up. (That doesn't mean it's not there... I just don't seem to be experiencing it when I smell this perfume.) It's a bit sparkly and/or prickly and effervescent (which, I'm guessing, is the black pepper note), yet inoffensive. I don't fell like it's a challenging scent... nor does it contain anything that would generally be considered objectionable.

Bottom line... it's a pleasant floral composition (which seems a bit floral-fruity to me, but that could simply be my interpretation, as I detect pears, but the rest of the world doesn't seem to). I would likely find this pleasant enough if I smelled it on someone else. I might even compliment them. If I had to compare two popular Gucci jasmine perfumes head-to-head, though (Flora Gorgeous Jasmine vs. the original Gucci Bloom EDP), I'd choose Gucci Bloom over this one, as it seems to feel more "at home" on me.

ilgattopardo

Soap. With a whiff of washing powder. Both aggressive and boring simultaneously. Quite a feat. Sorry, this one cannot elicit a more in-depth analysis.

Edit: after one hour aggressive soap morphs into bland soap.

Krithiga Kesavan

This smells like Armani My way, Givenchy L'interdit, and Lataffa fakhar rose. They are very similar. Gucci flora gorgeous jasmine smells like a watered-down version of those. Very mild smell.

AquaJima

I pick up something that reminds me of mouthwash. Is minty, almost like visiting the dentist. I don’t dislike it. Is just strange.

C_Phippy

I do love the scent of this perfume. I think it’s absolutely perfect for spring and maybe even summer.
It’s a great day time fragrance that you could wear going for brunch or a nice walk in the park.
However, I realized that this scent was eerily familiar and I purchased it before I could recall what it smelt like. I tried it on at home and then it dawned on me…this smells exactly like the fragrance line “carried away” by bath and body works. I had all the soaps/body sprays/lotions when they released them in 2011. So unfortunately it reminds me of high school and a cheap b&bw product. Might need to return/exchange. Welp

Acidula

Wow, this is violent, overpowering, here to stay.
Wants people in the room to notice you're there.
I'm intimidated by my wrist right rn, I tried to scrub it off but to no avail.
I like white flowers and citrus but this one is way too strong IMO, and I am not into extreme "clean" scents.

HeatherMuffin

Absolutely love this one when I need a mood uplift. I’m walking through a field of flowers in the summer, stream is trickling near me, and I’m so happy skipping and running with my kids. The spicy earth beneath us.

It’s not a straight Jasmine scent it’s very fluid and rounded. You can certainly pick the floral out though. I always could do without patchouli, it’s disgusting, but I can’t sense it one bit in this, and I’m going to forget I ever saw it was in here.

HoneyRum

Not bad, it reminds me of a powder my mom used to use on the carpets before she vacuumed when I was a kid. Very pleasant but I wouldn’t purchase this, and I probably won’t finish the sample. If I wanted a clean Jasmine I would go with pure poison over this, but that’s just a personal preference.

libertinesupreme

This is one of my favourite light, playful soliflores. I will add the caveat that I'm a huge jasmine fan, so I MIGHT be biased, but even for jasmine-heavy frags this is among my favourites. It's very wearable, office-friendly and everyday, but I find it has a particular liveliness that elevates it among other generic white florals. The jasmine note is definitely a crowd-pleasing sort, rather than a hot and heavy indolic, so it would definitely be a good first jasmine scent.

Bubbles1964

I’m glad I didn’t get the dryer sheet note from this, instead Flora Gorgeous is an easy to wear, one dimensional floral.

I pick up a few other notes briefly in the opening, but this quickly becomes a soliflore. Morillas interpretation of jasmine is simple; a contemporary floral style that feels matte white. And yes, clean too.

I think this is great for fans of jasmine, and Flora Gorgeous Jasmine is a good designer fragrance. Plus I love the gorgeous, opaque bottle which by design, protects the juice inside from breaking down from exposure to light.

Youlerie

Reminds me vaguely of "Pure Poison". Another plain white blossom scent.

lauren.ingham

Pretty, clean/floral smell. It's nice but wouldn't purchase it again.

CarmenNola23

This is such a beautiful jasmine scent. I spritz on my wrists and a little on the back of my neck. It radiates and makes me smile. It starts off candy bubbly jasmine backed by a soft citrus, I get kumquat even though it isn’t specifically listed then ambery notes mellow things down. The heart of it is clean pure jasmine. Its name and bottle suit it perfectly, and it’s very unique as I can think of no other scent to compare it to. This ones a keeper, but I do wish it lasted longer.

eligefashion

This is my new staple jasmin scent!
The initial spray has a sparkling, clean, Jasmin, shampoo, and also light notes of bubblegum.

The combination of Jasmin and pepper is so gentle and makes this formula burst alive!
Light jasmin shampoo and gourmand candy whisps is how I would describe this fragrance.

It wears well throughout the day and I still get whiffs of it days later on my clothing.
This scent is so pretty! Its currently winter and I'm excited to wear this scent all year round!

Intrepid-Taste-1111

I gave this one a go in Sephora, it's nice! white, slightly bubblegummy forals, it’s not stuffy or headachy at all. I feel like it would be a good entry point if you usually feel put off by jasmine perfumes

Perfectleebeautiful

I’m not a fan of this one. The magnolia & black pepper are strong in this fragrance. It’s not pleasing to me at all.

raiza1990

This is nice. It’s a fresh and bubble gummy jasmine. It’s relaxing and clean. Perfect for hot days.

tanoshi333

Smells like good, fresh jasmine without smelling like a floor cleaner. I love citrusy notes and orange blossom, and this fragrance brings out the clean and floral aspect of orange blossom. It also lasts really long on clothes. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

AriaLennon

Beautiful scent! Natural tones, niche quality, and bridal feelings with Sparkling bergamot and mandarin elevate soft jasmine and magnolia, creamy sandalwood and patchouli. A crowd-pleaser and a must-have for flower enthusiasts! Jasmine has a calm and refreshing but refined feeling. It also lasts a long time on me, especially on clothing! Overall, it's a pleasant, delicate, and clean white flower scent. Stunning!

katieaiken

I love this! It’s a light and airy jasmine that is a little bit spicy but still fresh and inoffensive. My mom loves Jasmine so I told her to smell it. She loved it so much she replaced it as her signature scent after 20+ years of wearing the same perfume

East River Pearl

A very laundry detergent like scent, with a sweetness that is a little reminiscent of those chalky Valentine's heart candies. The pepper then comes through quite strongly in the dry down. Ever so slightly reminds me of Valentino Donna Born in Rome.

Riri33

Not great. It’s kinda fresh but not in a natural way. Its a clothes softener type of scent. Pleasant and inoffensive if you don’t overspray. Doesn’t project much but you will smell it on you. I bought this by accident. Available to swap with Gucci Profumo di fiori (yellow bottle) or Gucci bloom.

Cassis-2020

It reminded me of London Burberry. I prefer London

Zana1970

I love jasmine, but this with black pepper is a mess, beginning is so sharp, makes me so sick....I just can't go through the opening...

femmefumes

Jasmine fragrances are not my thing usually. This one is not great but not terrible. I just can't see myself ever wearing this cause I wouldn't want to smell this for more than five minutes.

Finka227

Dried sheets, office scent, clean but too much drier sheets. Wouldn’t repurchase

Smellgoodfeelgood84

I have a 3ml sample. I adore this scent.

I have been tossing up between a few fragrances for my next purchase. I want a sparkling, fresh, bright floral for Summer. Whether that be white floral or not. Well I think I have found a winner. It's either this, My Way Intense or LVEB Eclat.

I applied one spray to the back of my hand 1 hour ago and it hasn't gone anywhere. It has only gotten stronger in intensity.

XOXO_marcel

Jasmine is a VERY challenging note for me, so I'm almost surprised to like this. It's a powdery, slightly sour floral with a lot of depth. Definitely a "perfumey" smell, but unique. The bergamot is not immediately obvious but once it makes itself known, it brings in a lovely splash of candy sweetness. All-in-all it leans dark.
This reminds me of a Sweetart candy, but much, much deeper. The closest perfume I can think to compare it to is Spellbound by Estee Lauder, but this is more of a heavy-hitter than Spellbound.

rainydays

I'm picky about jasmine. Indolic jasmine can turn my stomach. This is lovely... Clean, mildly juicy from the citrus, very faintly peppery (that note is subtle). Feminine, smooth, easy to wear. This is nothing groundbreaking but if you struggle with white florals this is relatively safe and pretty.

Bargain Hunter

As I man, I don't wear this but love this scent on my wife. I love L'Interndit and Bloom. This one is like in between/mix of the two: jasmine with citrusy sour fresh hints.

Definitely bed time scent. Very cozy soothing yet fresh enough for a close encounter.

Ambroxer

Gorgeous Jasmine is exactly that: a straightforward jasmine scent that strikes my nose as sweet and innocent. There’s a kind of candied jasmine effect in the opening, a bit reminiscent of a floral dessert, like rose ice cream. It’s all very approachable and cute.

As the fragrance enters the mid, it’s more a straightforward and pretty jasmine with splashes of citrus. Nothing indolic or particularly sexy here, but Gorgeous Jasmine certainly has her charms.

The bottle and entire marketing aesthetic strike me as targeting a kind of innocent, free spirited hippy. That type of character fits the fragrance 100%. It may be too simple and straightforward for many a frequent Fragrantica reader, but as a simple, dainty scent, it works well. If there was ever a fragrance bottled specifically for the girl next door, or better yet, the manic pixie dream girl, this may well be it.

Skinscents4Fusspots

Jasmine gives me a headache so sadly I’d never be able to wear this perfume, but the carded sample is soooo pretty! Jasmine and tons of fresh and juicy mandarin, with magnolia sneaking in a bit later! Innocent and spring-like, not too soapy, not too sharp and not too sweet. Nicely balanced! The first of the Gucci Flora I’ve liked! I’d love smelling this on other people. It’s one of only 2 Jasmine fragrances that I wish I could wear (the other is Lust by Lush!).

Edit - reading other reviews saying this is boring and fair enough - it's not ground breaking or particularly interesting but it's a really good execution of a simple and easy to wear Jasmine. Not everyone wants complex or challenging scents, some people just want to smell good and this is a pretty spring floral that I'm sure would leave a lovely scent trail.

ponderingscents

I love the packaging and I love Miley Cyrus and I found the ads entertaining. I received a sample of this in the mail and I have to say it's pretty unoffensive white floral. I wish it was more heavy on the citrus because I don't smell that at all on me. It reminds me what the perfume aisle smells like in department stores. Nostalgic in that aspect. I won't be buying a full-size but if you're a big fan of white florals, definitely get a sample or a travel size spray!

Jasmine92

I bought a travel size after smelling this in the store and really liking it. At first sniff and all of the other times I’ve worn this, I never picked up on any citrus or pepper notes in here. It’s just smells of a sweet white floral scent and I like it.

SomaNyx

I got a sample of this when I bought another Gucci perfume at Harrods. Took a while to try it as it's winter and I'm on a dark intense Oud Vibe. But gosh this is beautiful. Sprayed just my wrists but I can smell it all around me. It's sweet yet there is a note of sharpness that I love. The whimsical bottle style looks gorgeous too. This is perfect for a date night or daytime in the office. Think I'll need to buy the full bottle.

oblyth

One of the best Jasmine scented perfumes I've come across. Smooth and pleasant.

LaMiaRosa

I'm in love with this scent. I was at the store trying a bunch of different perfumes yesterday and nothing wowed me. They were all just ok, inoffensive, but extremely weak and not at all memorable.

As soon as I sprayed this, I was blown away. I am a big fan of white florals (unlike many of the reviewers here) and this did not disappoint. The other fragrances faded away into nothingness as soon as I sprayed them, but one spray of this and it was like I doused myself in the bottle! This fragrance is strong and it cannot be ignored.

Super fresh, clean and feminine. A lovely white floral. Perfect for jasmine lovers like myself. And let me tell you, this stuff lasts all day. I went back to the store later that day and did 2 more spritzes. I've since showered and washed my hands many times yet I can still smell this on me! I love it.

If you don't like floral scents or jasmine then of course this is not the fragrance for you. But this fragrance is definitely what Gucci promises - a gorgeous jasmine scent! For the feminine woman who is not afraid to get your attention 😉

FigWithMusk

A cup of jasmine tea. That's all.

Arida

Finally i tried it! The price is more then 200$, im sure that it is crazy. It s like 30$ with the shipping max.

Freyaskywalker

Don’t get me wrong, the smell is not offensive. It smells of clean laundry. Very clear smell of fabric softener. If I wanted to smell like this I would spend £5 in lenor, no £70 in this overpriced joke. Jasmin where???

jaejaejae

tested in sephora today. i'll be honest, i only bothered to sample it because of the gorgeous bottle. i'm not usually a white florals fan but i do enjoy this one. 'lovely' is probably the best description for this scent. it is light and delicate and pretty. i get the sharp citrus in the opening and the sharpness fades into a lovely jasmine. i think this would be an easy reach for springtime and even summer. the longevity and sillage isn't spectacular by any means, which is a shame since this is such a pretty scent with a particularly pretty price. i'd buy a 1oz bottle for the pretty design. not sure this is full bottle worthy for me but it's a very pleasant scent.

mirrorghost

this is downy fabric softener. that's it. wow. no jasmine here. i am puzzled by this. it was a free sample but i do not like downy and don't want to wear a perfume that smells like it either.

bananco

Beautiful and feminine clean jasmine scent, just lovely for almost any occasion, best probably for spring. The only issue is longevity, for this price it should be far more potent and long lasting

Enrium

In stark contrast to Lush Lust that I tested yesterday, Gorgeous Jasmine is a sweet, clean jasmine soliflore. There are no indoles in here at all - it is simply sweet, clean and pretty - the jasmine equivalent to Gucci Bloom, a clean tuberose soliflore.

GJ opens with sweet, clean jasmine brightened with subtle citrus notes that give it a light freshness. The jasmine develops, blooming on my skin, becoming sweeter as it develops. Smooth and creamy, it is subtle and beautiful. It becomes nicely powdery after a little while.

Soft woody base notes ground it as it dries down, with a subtle amber accord emerging during its later stages. Patchouli adds some earthiness - a nice counterpoint to the jasmine that remains dominant throughout. It fades to a patchouli-jasmine skin scent after several hours. Sillage and longevity are moderate - much like Gucci Bloom, it is a subtle, restrained white floral instead of being heady or cloying.

An easy-to-wear feminine day scent, this is a discreet, elegant way to wear white florals. Timeless and ageless, it is simple yet sophisticated. Fresh, light and sweet with a reasonably realistic jasmine note, this is a far cry from the synthetic Alien (that one did NOT work for me). Pretty good, if unexciting. 3.5/5.

I don’t get the reviews comparing this to cleaning products or air freshener! For me this is one of the most pleasing designer scents I’ve tried this year. It was love at first sniff for me when I sampled it in Macy’s and knew I had to get the pen spray after which didn’t disappoint. Gorgeous Jasmine has a cool and refreshing yet elegant vibe that reminds me of the first few brisk days of spring after a long winter. I think it’s the jasmine/magnolia/benzoin notes which are more apparent to me than the citrus notes. Jasmine is obviously the main star of the fragrance but there’s something special about the rest of its composition that sets it apart from other jasmine frags like Mugler Alien. It also lasts pretty long on me, especially on clothes! I like wearing this to the office but it could absolutely work for special daytime events, specifically in the spring. I’m definitely wearing this for Easter and Mother’s day.

style1015

Unfortunately the citrus and jasmine in this combine to give me what feels like a bathroom air-freshener scent. Don't get me wrong, it would be a nice-smelling, luxe bathroom, but an air-freshener nonetheless. I tend to like my jasmine/white florals to be richer, deeper, sexier + more indolic. This one is bright, fresh, soapy and ever so slightly screechy. It does get a bit better in the drydown, but not enough to turn this fragrance around. Alas, not for me.

Mona708

All in all, I really like this scent. The patchouli and what I suspect may be a tiny bit of oud tucked away in the base notes are a great contrast to the bright jasmine. It’s not as indolic as the jasmine in Alien or Lust, but it holds its own. It puts me in mind of a less sweet Gucci Bloom, and there’s a very slight resemblance to Libre after I’ve worn it for a couple of hours. What stops this from becoming a love is the short longevity- it wears off after about five hours, even if you spray on a lot.

jassca99

I usually have fickle relationship with jasmine, it can be good or bad with me. This turned out to be good, a fresh pure jasmine and not indolic to my nose. The jasmine in Kilian’s Moonlight in Heaven but bearable and not heady. Much bearable. Actually very beautiful and clean. This reminds me of a calm Dior pure poison which I liked a lot too. I do get a slight bubblegum tuberose mixed in there but nearly not as strong or sweet as in Diptyque Do Son or Armani My Way. A quintessential fresh white floral, that smells like clean soap. I would consider adding once I finish a fresh floral fragrance but I unfortunately get sneaky headaches from this after a while.

I got some samples of it together with gorgeous gardenia, and my first impression was that it was better and lighter, more fresh in a way, from the gorgeous gardenia. I sampled them side by side and this one, was my first choice. I got the samples with me, and I wore it some days ago, in a greek weeding. I got so many compliments, thus I am considering buying it, during the sales period.
Update: It is a pure clean, floral perfume. During the first application it is a little bit heavy, strong but as time goes by, it becomes milder. The main key player - ingredient for me is the jasmine. Hopefully, I do not detect any other notes.
Seeing the notes here in Fragrantica, a shiver of fear ran down my spine, when I saw the black pepper among the notes...
I had in the past a very traumatic experience with a perfume which had black pepper inside
(Sensuous by Estée Lauder) but thank God, I do not detect it at all, it does not become spicy.
As far as the duration is concerned is pretty good, is 6-7 hours. I have been wearing the sample for 6 hours and I can still very clearly smell it on the inner part of my elbow. At the moment I can not recall other perfumes that are similar to it, I have seen the perfumes under the section, "this perfume reminds me of...." but I would have to double check. Currently I have one bottle of Pure Poison which is on the list, so I will test them side by side to see their differences. The price of the perfume is quite expensive, as all the prices have gone up, so I would not wear it on a daily basis, to run errands, etc despite the fact that
is, a "plain" floral scent. I like it, it is a nice, clean, safe, classic floral perfume for people who enjoy these kind of perfumes.
PS: I suppose as I have read many times in other reviews, the last years we see that there is a lack of innovation in perfumes. Most of the companies, are producing dupes or flankers with little changes on the design and the notes but still, the result is repetitive and lackluster.☹️

velvetdoe

smells like cough syrup and a dentists office - but in a good way??? which is weird for me because i hate those smells, but even though i get them in this… it’s still good. very strange but i kinda like it

Bourbon61

I’m not into jasmine, but this one is really good! Fresh, smooth and not too offensive. I got a sample and tried it at work and I really felt the spring/summer vibe the whole day!

coffeefifofum

A very pretty, soft jasmine balanced by waxy magnolia and a hint of citrus. Wearable, feminine, noticeable without being aggressive. Gentle scent bubble, meaning it was present at arms length but more of a "what smells so good" than a "what perfume is that". Lasted six hours. The pepper and base notes never really made themselves known. This was a long lasting floral experience.

CraggyMtn

As a guy, I like this smell. Got a sample in bag from Macys. Been wearing it for about 4 hours on my wrist. I would like this on a woman. Very clean, kind of aquatic, touch of sweet. It might remind me of shampoo or something from a long time ago.

oceanorchid

Gorgeous Gardenia is really gorgeous, but this one however. I usually love jasmine (when paired with other favorite notes and done well) but this one is not good.

Mutrike

While not being the biggest jasmine fan, I like this one, it is fresh and lovely without the typical sweet vanilla note which usually comes with jasmine.

The mandarin is just sooooo good in it! Aromatherapy at its best, I especially love to spray it in the morning of stay at home days.

DarlingNikki

This started out promising--like what I would have preferred MM Bubble Bath to smell like--but it went south quickly and descended into some kind of stale, bland, blech smelling nothingness. Total waste of money, time, and effort. I can't believe an icon in the perfume industry created something so lackluster, flat, pale and utterly uninspiring. Sad...

perfumehuntern19

As someone who is a fan of Gorgeous Gardenia, I had to give this one a try. This is such a beautiful fragrance. Starts off very fresh with the mandarin coming through and then it dries down to a heavenly jasmine scent. I didn't give a lot of attention of the other notes so I can't go on detail about it. If this lasted just a bit more I would buy it but for now I don't think it's worth the price tag. Also on the dry down, I was slightly reminded of My Way because of the jasmine.

Edemay

wow, this is the best clean washing scent I've ever tried

all the clean girlies are going to love this
its essentially a washing powder smell with a touch of candy sweetness
it doesn't smell cheap and it lasts all day
I sprayed this at the start of work and it wafted around me right up until I came home and showered
I 100% recommend this for anyone looking for fresh, clean, crisp, classy, work safe, put-together vibes

KöbiD

This fragrance has a strong and nondescript floral, musky opening. After around 30 minutes, some light aquatic notes set in. At this stage, Flora Gorgeous Jasmine reminds me of Versace Bright Crystal EdT, especially because of the interplay of aquatic and floral notes. My favorite part is the drydown when the sharp floral notes have mellowed down. At this point, the fragrance gives me 90s Impulse body spray vibes. As for the jasmine note, it is not the natural smelling one, but that non-indolic type.

Cmed

Ultra muddy patchouli. Dislike

hollandbri

I was expecting more complexity. Citrus, clean musky laundry type jasmine. Reminded me a lot of pure poison.

Emera1d

Clean, fresh and crisp. Reminded of me scented stationery when I was a kid. It also has a clean laundry feel to it. Nicely done but not my kind of thing. Not very long lasting.

mermaidylady

This smells like shampoo to me! Maybe Herbal Essences? It's not bad... definitely a clean scent if that's what you're into. I think I might prefer this to GG.

leking19

Great stuff, the initial spray is lovely, sweet and almost tangy. Settles into a lovely softer sweetness that can almost be described as marmalade-y. Great stuff!

perfumelover9999

very pretty. a bit less sweet than gorgeous gardenia but has the same vibe lol

jadesfragrances

soft and clean white floral fragrance. i really like jasmine so i was excited to try this and it didn’t disappoint. i get a slight bubblegummy note in the opening, kind of like a lighter giorgio armani my way, which made me think there’d be a tuberose note in here.
surprisingly good sillage. the fruits and pepper note stop it from being too linear, it’s definitely floral but not overwhelmingly so - and the australian sandalwood in the dry down is really nice.

Lindsconn

This is such a realistic smelling white floral perfume. When I smell this I feel like there is a fresh bouquet of white florals in front of me. Obviously jasmine takes the centre stage, but it’s not an overwhelming Alien style jasmine, it’s a fresh, calming jasmine.

The dry down is just as stunning. It’s a beautiful soft sandalwood.

Gucci have knocked it out of the park again for their fragrances! The bottle is also beautiful as well

auroramaria

So I tried it and love it. This is an airy jasmine that even non lovers of the flower might appreciate
It is soft and clean, everyday fragrance but with something that makes it stand out
Less sweet and more floral than Gardenia

shalla.marie

No thank you. Smells like a cheap imitation of jasmine.
I normally do not like patchouli but here it complements the other notes but that does not save this perfume. It smells like every other "pseudo jasmine" perfume around. Very generic and disappointing for a usually impressive brand like Gucci. It's a no from me.

Would be great for a late teenager though.

Gioia's secret

Very beautiful scent❤️It has similar vibes as Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia, beautiful but not complicated, light and inspiring scent. I am sure that young audience will love this scent.
I need to check this one on longevity as with Gorgeous Gardenia that was an issue

Perfumerism

If you like simple, clean florals, this is for you! I get mostly jasmine and magnolia. This smells like laundry, magnolia trees, and a spring breeze in a park. Longevity was 6-8hrs for me.

jeca

The first one was gardenia and this one is not jasmine. They are very similar, Jasmine is a bit soapier and fresher (greener?)

OmarBlue

I got several samples with another purchase.

A very mainstream feminine Jasmine fragrance. Most of the notes smell like a perfumer's interpretations of the note rather than the natural thing; maybe this appeals to many, but for sure, it does not appeal to me. I want my perfumes to smell like the real thing.
The mandarin and magnolia add sweetness. The Jasmine dominates the mid, and smells like any other generic Jasmine used in cheaper perfumes.

Overall, it is nice, hence the 'like' rating, but for sure not worth it for the price.
Again, my main complaint is that it smells generic and not very note-realistic.

midnight dot

The first spray smells lovely, and I was surprised as I've heard others say that it smells like air freshener or fresh linen (¯_(ツ)_/¯). However, after 30 minutes or so, I could see others' perceptions of this perfume. If anything, I can see this for the clean girl aesthetic.

karinatfragrantica

Quite a disappointment. It starts off way too sweet for my taste and has a strange synthetic/artifical vibe. This is what I would expect a shower gel for teenage girls to smell like. Definitely not the soft natural jasmine I was hoping for. My immediate association was "barbie doll".
But it fits the esthetic of the presentation. Guess I am not the target group...

C. McLeod

I agree that if you want a straightforward lovely, warm Jasmine, you can get Calvin Klein Beauty and nobody would know the difference. I scored a bottle for $20 at Shoppers Drug Mart.

likesleet

stop!!! peppery. this is what people who hate perfume imagine when they think of perfume.

ShowMustGoOn

Very similar to Armani My Way and it’s flankers. If you like those, you will like this. It is 90% Armani My Way Florale. Jasmin, citrus, a little bite but overall very nice. I have a couple of perfumes similar to this, so to me it’s not unique and it has been done in recent years. Overall, recommend it. Also similar to Tuberose Overdose from Banana Republic and French Flower from Matier.

Winniebeelv

The opening is definitely sweet floral. I get the Jasmine and a bit of orange. After it dries, still pleasant but nothing to write home about. It gives me 80’s loud shampoo vibes like Agree or Gee your hair smells terrific…but those were a bit better. I’m glad I only bought a 1 Oz bottle. The bottle is gorgeous but not worth $97 with tax and all. Live and learn lol. Maybe I can layer this with something.

Jane Doll

On initial spray, this smells very pleasant. Mainly jasmine, and a little bit of citrus peaks through. Pretty and crowd pleasing. After wearing it for 30 minutes or so on my skin, it starts to smell like laundry detergent/deodorant. It's reminiscent of the Secret deodorant. Not a bad smell at all. Inoffensive. If I wanted a fragrance to smell cleanish like that, I'd prefer Vilhelm's Room Service.

LSAUG

I'm smelling this on my hand right now and it has been on my hand for an hour. Gorgeous jasmine starts off a lot sweeter than I expected. The mandarin orange in here is super sugary sweet, the pepper is slight. As the fragrance develops it becomes a very musky, soapy, clean jasmine and that is about it. The mid and the dry down really remind me of Calvin Klein Beauty. And while this is a nice fragrance, I cannot justify the price point since it reminds me so much of CK Beauty and I bought that for $10. Gorgeous Jasmine is CK Beauty w/ a sugary orange opening. I love the bottle and the ad campaign and while the fragrance is nice it is rather expensive for what you are getting.

Edit: I bought a travel size of this. It is pretty. I did it with my friend who thought it would be cute if she wore the gardenia (her fav of the line)!and I wore the Jasmine in the line when we hang out and this summer.

IrisPrima

Stunning fragrance! I had the occasion to try this before its official release and it's such a beautiful scent.
Niche quality, Natural tones, Bridal vibes - Soft jasmine and magnolia, creamy sandalwood and patchouli are all uplifted by sparkling bergamot and mandarin. Of profound delicacy, this feminine scent has certainly a Morillas signature. A crowd-pleaser and a must-have for those floral lovers! Cherry on the cake - beautiful vintage bottle matched to its pink sibling Gorgeous Gardenia, which is a Pear Blossom beauty <3

gurle94

To me this smells more mature than the gorgeous gardenia. Up to you if that's good or bad. The bottle is very pretty

hola gigi

I absolutely adore this bottle, but soapy white florals aren't my thing. For what it's worth, this fragrance has decent sillage & staying power. Stays atleast 5 hours or more on my skin.

Controlledbyscent31

Super soapy jasmine, smells like a nice hotel free soap or shower gel...
Not for me

murielr

I've received a sample from sephora and so far I like it! It is a soapy jasmine, smells clean. A beautiful scent, I very much prefer it to gorgeous gardenia.

Kotikina

The bottle does look gorgeous

Pez_Enelrio

I hope gucci sticks with this vintage style bottle, it is lovely. I wouldnt mind if they replaced all their previous editions for these packages. And cant wait to smell what is inside

Kotikina

Another jasmine fragrance.Interesting. Spanish jasmine. Is it differrent from Indian jasmine or jasmine sambac?

aguschinita

Really…another flanker of this?

auroramaria

Jasmine is in every scent these days and pretty fake at that. I still hope this scent is good and Gucci uses some sense and delivers something decent
