Pros/First Impressions: This fragrance smells good. Imagine a creamy cappuccino straight from the coffee shop. This is also a great value fragrance, and you could wear this as a man or woman.
Cons: It does smell quite feminine and sweet, and it’s a little hard to wear. It isn’t very versatile for the summer and spring, but you could absolutely rock this in the fall and winter. It is unisex, and it doesn’t smell like your typical men’s fragrance.

ehlistuh

Young adult male Singaporean reviewer here! (context for my fellow Singaporean readers experiencing rabak weather :,))

Important note: Let this fragrance macerate for at least 2 weeks before making a judgement; I'm falling in love more and more as it oxidizes! :]

Khamrah Qahwa is an insanely superb unisex fragrance to wear in cooler weather/indoor air-conditioned settings. Even in the sweltering Singapore humid heat (34 deg celsius) this fragrance STILL projects and STICKS to your skin without it being cloyingly sweet! Though, with so much humidity in the outdoor air, this beast mode fragrance sadly, has a solid moderate scent trail/sillage (around 2 meters), but hey! It's still better than an average perfume that DISAPPEARS within seconds.... In an air conditioned room, however, this scent explodes outwards with a bubble of about 5 meters.

It is definitely unisex! It is definitely a sweet fragrance, but it isn't cloying. (it's not jelak; it won't smell rancid-sweet when it comes in contact with sweat) It is a dark kind of sweetness, imagine dark chocolate instead of syrup or caramel. The mixture of spices (especially the cinammon) and dark sweetness makes it smell masculinely elegant, yet femininely bold in the top notes with a humongous scent bubble. It dries down (after ~1 hour in Singapore) into the mid and base notes where it gets more seductive and comforting that still has a moderate scent bubble that people within arm's reach can still smell!

On my skin, it lasts about 3 hours before becoming a skin scent (where you have to be really close to smell). On clothes, 2 whole days!! This is the first fragrance that got me two compliments from young men in one day. Young women love this scent too! It definitely smells more mature and high class. It's definitely suited for 21 year olds and above in my opinion!

tonytony

Absolutely love this fragrance. worth the safe blind buy and hype.

sonny35

Cappuccino vibes! Grab this if you like khamrah and enjoy a good coffee note. The coffee in this smells so much better than MM coffee break.

kerim_abs

It's a pretty cool fragrance, but kinda hard to wear; it's so sweet, but caramel sweet, like it almost smells like clean caramel to me. The sillage is pretty nice, and it lasts long, but I got bored of this smell very quickly. However, I'll give it 8/10 for the price; it's very cool, but don't expect too much. The coffee note is something that I could smell for the first seven days, and now I don't even get it anymore. I don't know what happened, maybe some nose blindness for that note...

ingenpen

I really don't know how nor why but this to me is almost identical to Disumano by Morph. I like it! 🩷

Princessy

Creamier and sweeter version of Khamrah with less cinnamon.

As a gourmand lover, I found the OG Khamrah too masculine for my liking. BUT Khamrah Qahwa is just perfect for me, it's bold, super sweet yet elegant.

The performance is beast-mode, I will easily recommend this to anyone !

* Superb gourmand blend of sweet, Cognac, black coffee, vanilla, amber and musk aromas
* Easily surpasses the original which in itself is also phenomenal by swapping Khamrah's cinnamon note for coffee
* Superb performance and strength
* Stunning presentation
* Unisex
* Niche fragrance for less than designer price
* Works in hot weather thanks to the black coffee note
* Has surpassed the much hyped and loved fragrance it was cloning to become its own unique much hyped and loved phenomenon

* Leans more on the masculine side for female users
* Not suitable for older users or those who dislike sweet fragrances
* Not subtle by any means
* May remind some of candy due to the praline and maple notes

Straight up, Khamrah Qahwa (which literally means coffee in Arabic), is absolutely phenomenal. It takes the same sweet, boozy Cognac, vanilla, amber and musk formula of the original and swaps out its key note of cinnamon for a much more grounded black coffee note (pun fully intended). The result is a superb flanker, both easily recognizable if you have the original but also different enough to stand out on its own and as someone who loves the original, I would argue this is way, way better. Some of the notes may come off smelling as praline candy to the nose which may turn off some. This is most definitely a gourmand fragrance, possibly the most gourmandish one I've ever had.

Performance is insanely good, with super strong projection, longevity and sillage. The presentation for the Khamrah line is stunning, easily the best Lattafa has every done, maybe only matched by the beautiful clear dome of Eternal Oud. It was designed to be displayed which you can see below and it looks great when doing so.

This is unisex but women should note that it leans quite a bit masculine, much more so than the original. This is not subtle in the least and is intended to bowl people over, so keep that in mind. It's not suitable for older more mature users (though Old Spice lovers may appreciate it) or those who dislike sweet fragrances. This makes the entire Paco Rabanne Invictus line smell like a sugar-free lollipop by comparison.

The most amazing thing about Khamrah Qahwa and the original Khamrah is that they were supposed to be clones of Killian's Angel's Share which is a much loved and hyped (and rightfully so) niche fragrance. Instead, they have become their own phenomenon unto themselves and are equally loved and hyped if not more so.

I've no doubt the high quality per dollar ratio has much to do with it. This is a superb high value QPR product which punches, far, FAR above its price point. It's a niche level fragrance for less than designer level price. If you enjoy gourmand fragrances, this is an absolute no brainer must buy. Highly recommended.

TakataFragrance

I definitely prefer SHARAF MIX but as an alternative, this is a no Rainer.

brick-wall

a gourmand fragrance with hints of cinnamon, spiciness, and a lil bit of amber. i don’t really smell the coffee after the first like 15 minutes but instead it turns into like a warm boozy but in a good way

blamehud

A gourmand beast, very sweet and long-lasting. Projects well. Very little-to-no coffee scent in this. As others have pointed out; it's more of a rum/boozy thing.

Great blind buy for those looking to expand there collection and want a sexy boozy gourmand date night beast. Definitely more masculine - terrific value for money and the great bottle makes it nice to leave on the counter exposed in the bathroom as a little flex to the less-educated on fragrances (who will think you're very interesting - when in fact this is an affordably dupe-flanker).

I get a bit over the vanilla and sweetness in this after a days wear, but worth pointing out my SO adores this.

Mad-Lainey

This juice most definitely leans on the masculine side, Guys. I personally consider myself quite adventurous in the olfactory universe and despite its masculine composition I decided to give it a try. I had nothing to lose unless you count the £30.00 I spent on my first ever fragrance from Lattafa. First impression; great presentation, a heavy, impact statement bottle filled with golden honey coloured juice. Upon initial application, I got hit by a blast of cinnamon, rather powerful yet surprisingly pleasing. This quickly turned slightly gourmand, fruity, borderline edible but the soft floral background smoothed the edges nicely. As the fragrance developed, it lost no tenacity and remained powerful for solid 6 hours. It was only at this stage that I started detecting tonka mixed with vanilla and at around 8th hour I finally detected a faint echo of musk. My experience with Qahwah ended on a jaw dropping note for I haven't expected it to pull out this incredible olfactory show, a true masterpiece performance.
There is nothing soft or playful about this fragrance. It is unlikely to be a safe buy as a gift unless you know the taste of the individual to be gifted. Even though I'm a woman, I appreciate the beauty of Qahwah but I feel that you need a strong personality and character to pull this one off. As a manager, I feel this juice compliments my confidence and determination. Sillage and longevity are both well above the usual average. This is not a crowd pleaser, this is a statement head turner. Hands down one of the best fragrances I purchased in the last decade.

liat

I own the OG and like it. This version is sweeter and in a sense, more annoying. I love coffee perfumes but here it's way too sweet and somewhat offensive. Like the OG, longevity and sillage are excellent. If you're debating which version to buy, I think the OG is more wearable.

Nocciola23

I really didn't like the original Khamrah as I found the cinnamon note too prominent and synthetic, but I was lured into buying a decant of Qahwa because the coffee note intrigued me.
Qahwa definitely has the DNA of Khamrah, but I am pleasantly surprised by this twist. The 'coffee' note isn't giving me coffee at all but is giving more of a rum, tobacco vibe and I like it. It reminds me of Zara - Warm, Rich Addictive with a Khamrah base note.

Mystères du Château de Dé

Qahwa is certainly pleasant. It's a strong perfume but it's not heavy, which this genre can be. Sweet but not too sweet! It's not moist, rather dry and sandy. I would offer it proudly to someone who doesn't have many fragrances and wants a sweet, gourmand, warm and ambery elixir. It's easy to love.

Still, it is a food adjacent fragrance and furthermore, there is a sameness among all these new fragrances in the genre. This one just has a lighter touch than I was expecting. Grade: B+ for a fraghead. Possibly A for a modest person without a fragrance collection.

The dry down - half a day or a day after application, is particularly nice and it remains sandy which is an achievement.

KWinkie

I kept seeing reviewers on TikTok say that if you have the original, you really don’t need both, and I have to say, I completely disagree. I have and love the original Khamrah but Qahwa is not just Khamrah plus coffee. The heavy cinnamon note from Khamrah is also gone, giving Qahwa a totally different experience for me. It’s warm, it’s sweet, paired with something vanilla forward like Nebras is simply divine if you’re a gourmand lover. Definitely a fall/winter fragrance.

CamiBar&Beverages

UPDATE: Omg, i've never experienced such an evolution. The "sourness" is gone, ginger is more round in the opening and the cardamom feels sharp, but it fades quickly, and...it opens to a whole apple/cinnamon intense vibe, with coffe layering around, dry down feeling very benzoin and incense with a final glimpse of coffee there. Impressive lattafa, extremely well done.

#646 in my "Tour de Fragrance"

Everyone knows Lataffa Khamrah is a wonderful $45 similar, not really a dupe, of the fabulous but $215 a bottle Kilian's Angel's Share, which many of us would say is one of the best, if not the best, of the many Amber-Vanillic scents on the market. I put it up there with Maison Francis Kurkdjian's Grand Soir, which is the scent that made me, heretofor a fougere fanatic, an amber-vanilla fan. Unfortunately for me, I have an allergy to bergamot that makes Khamrah, a scent I absolutely love, unwearable without an initial ten minute sneezing fit. But Lattafa, God bless them and prosper their house forever and ever, Amen, rides to the rescue of the budget conscious with a flanker that I not only like better than Khamrah itself, but for me, comes closer to being a dupe of Kilian's. Not excessively sweet. No bergamot, and sadly no cognac like Kilian's, but for me having a coffee note makes up for that, being I almost live in an espresso bar. From the reviews I am not the only one that appreciates the note. [If you prefer chocolate to coffee, Louis Cardin "Sacred" is otherwise this same scent at $49 on Amazon. Personally I can't be smelling like a Dairy Queen chocolate dip cone and take myself seriously.]

This scent has solid EDP longevity and sillage, is car pool, elevator and close office space safe. It's not going to overwhelm anyone or give anyone a headache unless you bathe in it. I think it's more a casual date scent than formal or office wear. Anyone who catches a whiff will think it's pleasant, and at $45 I call it a safe blind buy.

Bleenders

I really, really like this fragrance. It's very similar to the original Khamrah but whatever it was that made me not love the original was definitely fixed in this version. I love the coffee note as that is what made me love this better than the OG. It's not a black cup of coffee but it's definitely there and lasts even in the dry down. I just purchased Al Rehabs French Coffee and it has the exact same coffee note in this but without the original Khamrah base. If you love the coffee in this, try the French Coffee oil. You're welcome.

Louismanuel

Got it yesterday.
First impressions: highly overrated. A much beter kind of similar fragrance is Louis Cardin Sacred.
IMO a better scent. Stronger. Longer lasting and cheaper.
The Lattafa hype costed me 46,50 €. Louis Cardin 25 € and with a nicer bottle too.

Gilbertotejera

What a delicious smell! The original Khamrah is a masterpiece, but the sweet dates smell somewhat tires my nose sometimes. In this, the sweetness is controlled by a delicate coffee latte note, that’s just right, giving it a creamy feel, compared to the fruity one from the original. I think it leans more on the masculine side than the OG, but it can be worn by females as well.

If you like sweet coffee lattes, this is a sure blind buy.

sebseb

It is a very beautiful sweet scent, BUT if you have for example Stronger with You Intensely or the old Code Profumo you really don't need this one, because while it is very nice it's just another sweet scent in a market flooded with sweet scents. That being said the price makes it a best buy.

DomiScarface

Sooooo fuckin good!
Eternally beautiful! Literally lasts all day long… stays on my clothes until death do us apart lol

Kykoj

I really thought I hated this. I blind bought it back in February or March after looking for coffee perfumes and discovering the world of middle eastern perfume houses. I was so excited for it to arrive but all I remember smelling was akin to sugar and then cigarette smoke, or something dark and dirty and heavy. I read all about “maceration” and thought that to be a hoax (and perhaps not even the correct word to use - “maturation” being more appropriate.)

I still don’t know what is true. Is it my nose that changed or the fragrance itself? Did it age? Oxidize? Meld better? I still don’t know. But with such a beautiful bottle and color, I tried it again yesterday and it was a world of difference. Yes, it’s a VERY strong fragrance to me - one spray on the wrist and I’m in a fragrance cloud for MUCH longer than with other fragrances - but it’s sweet, deep, creamy, complex and enjoyable.
I’m a little sad that it no longer feels like an appropriate time of year weather-wise to wear this in Southern California, but I’ll be revisiting this as soon as I can.

DatSpaniard

Blitzreview: Sweet, warm and dense mix of vanilla, cinammon and praliné. Outstanding sillage and great longevity.
Score: 8.7

This is a very sweet latte coffee with OG Khamrah in the background.

I didn't like OG Khamrah because it's even more sweetier, but this one is just fine.
It can be a very good and safe winter smell, that is unisex.
The bottle is beautiful, and for the price, this is a good pick.

Nothing to do with a Angel's Share.

puselabber

If your planning to go out and show this perfume off on Saturday, just put it on on Wednesday and you'll be fine. 😅

Love the spices in here, but to me its a tad too sweet with the candied fruits. Just received it yesterday and now it's springtime and not really the time to wear it anyway. Might revisit it when the snow comes back around again.

This EDP was a complete surprise.

Not that many days ago, I received my bottle of
Lataffa 'ETERNAL OUD' and loved it from the first
spray....so much so, that after just a week of maturing,
I was already missing that initial blast of the opening.

The 'KHAMRAH QAHWA' arrived today.
First sprays'.....pineapple, toasted coconut and a weird sour note.
I had expected a rich coffee winter hug, but got a piña colada.
As it is is right now, it's winter...in the Caribbean, not Connecticut.

Maybe it's just my skin and I'm hoping that after 4++ months
of maceration that it, like my 'ETERNAL OUD' now, is a WOW!.

Meanwhile, the packaging is above beyond..... and the bottle,
well, no photos do it proper justice--- it's spectacular.

Here's hoping. All my digits are crossed in anticipation.

BASMAJ

Honestly I prefer the regular Khamrah... something odd in Khamrah Qahwa... I wasn't able to pick any coffee after spraying it on skin and clothes... it's very similar to the OG with an extra weird/synthetic note in 5% of the scent profile, definitely not coffee! something in it smells like plastic ... I'm unsure if the bottle I tested needed more maceration.

All in all I believe the original khamrah is complete as a fragrance... unsure if this flanker was necessary.

Notedecoeur

Absolute beast mode performance! To some it might even be too much, but it is right up my alley. One spray and you can feel it for the next 8 hours with a big sillage too.
I own the original Khamrah as well and there are obviously plenty of similarities between them. I would say they are both unisex however Qahwa leans more masculine and the original leans slightly more feminine. For someone that isn’t a collector I think it’s sufficient to own one or the other. Another great release from Lattafa.

Taurien

Since I bought this perfume I really liked it. So much so that I removed Khamrah from my collection to keep only this version. And that's because Khamrah is a bad perfume? Nothing could be further from the truth but I felt that it was enough to have one of the two, since both are very similar. Like Khamrah, this perfume smells to me like a winter afternoon, like a sweet hug that covers you, even like Christmas.

Khamrah Qahwa has an opening with a very sweet rum and coffee, like a kind of sugary and liquored coffee that is prepared in some parts of Spain to finish the meal. Soon the spices appear, with cinnamon at the forefront, but present in a much more delicate way than in Khamrah. In the drydown both perfumes are very similar, smelling like a slightly spicy vanilla dessert.

It has a notable sillage and lasts more than 12 hours on my skin.

Khamrah Qahwa seems to me to be deeper, better conjugated and more unisex, with a less prominent but present cinnamon and with the incentive of the coffee note at the opening. Perhaps, if you don't mind the fact that cinnamon is somewhat pungent in Khamrah, that original version may be more jovial.

As for the packaging, both caps of this line have given me problems and I think it is a point to be reviewed by the brand so that it is on par with the juice of these perfumes, which I find delicious.

Scent 8/10
Duration 10/10
Sillage 9/10
Quality/price 9.5/10
Versatility 5.5/10
Packaging 8/10 (although I should take it down a couple of points for those caps that are either impossible to remove or left completely loose...)
Would I buy again? Yes

@Ronnie1111-

You were looking for a sweet gourmand with dates and praline?

You really wanted the ORIGINAL fragrance- "Khamrah".
However, you purchased the sibling:-
"Khamrah QAHWA" by Lattafa Perfumes, which has
praline and dried fruits....but, no dates

I hope that this clarification helps!

Akel

Is it better than og?
Well, I'm not sure. It's a little bit different but in the same direction. I own both of them and I sometimes prefer this one and some others the og.
Anyway the scent is fantastic and the performance is very good. Perfect for cold winter's nights.

nampung540

I just opened yesterday so I will give it a month or two to age because a lot of people are saying that’s what it needs. But so far it is not for me. I like gourmands and sweet scents. I don’t get coffee yet and was disappointed about that. It isn’t a yummy gourmand to my nose. It is very ginger forward upon opening and the dry down smells very clean and I guess musky. I’m still not sure what clean musk smells like because I prefer sweet gourmands. But the dry down smells like a clean man scent. Oh, it also smells kind of like a sweet cigar. I think it would layer nicely with By the Fireplace, or maybe a vanilla. The price isn’t bad, and I got a discount, so if it doesn’t smell like I hope in a month I might gift it. The bottle is pretty and I might even keep it for presentation. I am done with blind buying though. I’ve only done it a few times and I’m never thrilled. It’s not a bad scent, I’m just extremely picky about my fragrance.

ZekaChi

Not that much different than the original. It's great if you have it - enjoy it, it's a lovely scent - but you don't need both.

Yehonatan

The performance is amazing however, I find this fragrance a bit too sweet and leaning towards the feminine side not as the og Khamrah but still i find it a bit on the feminine side. Overall, it offers really good quality for the price you pay. (not safe blind buy)

Esmeeparfume

Its beastmode! I sprayed 3 sprays on in the shop and then went to a dinnerparty. When I tell you the whole house snelled like this all night and the next day my own house does too. Too bad i personally find it very masculine and too spicy

SAMPSODX

@Ronnie1111 I think the first mistake was buying into Tik Tok hype.

kellyincali

I just got it and sprayed one wrist. It’s been an hour. Vintage YSL Opium was my signature scent in the Eighties. To me this smells just like I remember Opium. I’ll come back to update.

Ronnie1111

I am a 100% gourmand girl. So I was a bit dissapointed due to a misleading description. It says here it’s mainly sweet, vanilla and cinnamon. With praline notes and dates? I don’t feel it at all! I definitely smell coffee, but not the one you drink with a dessert. More like the one my dad drinks. Esperesso with nothing else. And on top of that, I smell something fresh and spicy like a man’s perfume. It also smells like church! No kidding. I guess the way tiktok community described it, I expected it to be more like vanilla ice cream with a capuccino and a pie with a bit of spices on top… Some people in the comments here warned about it not being a gourmand perfume and honestly I should have listened. It wasn’t a waste of money though, this perfume is now gonna be a gift for my girlfriend. I think she would like it. That way I can still smell it but from afar.

Jose Alicea

Not a big difference from original Khamrah.Either way, it's still a beautiful fragrance.Very long lasting 12+ hours with outstanding sillage....

MemphisJonea

I had really high expectations for this one and from the notes thought I'd love it. I got it, tested it, then let it macerate for several weeks. When the weather turned colder (here in Australia) I pulled it out again and it still didn't do it for me. I see a few people mention a tangy/fruity/sour note and that's pretty much what I get. The fruity bits of some coffees and cognacs but not the depth or richness I was hoping for.

It reminds me of the sweet pipe tobacco my dad had when I as a kid. And it's fine, but it's not something I'd reach for so I sold my bottle. I haven't tried the original Khamra so I can't compare the two.

OmarDopa

Just like khamra but with the addition of coffee note making it more unique but still contains the same dna as khamra , i would pick this over khamra anytime !!

foxidius_

I thought I liked sweet scents, but then I smelled this. I almost threw up.

DarthFragrance

I just got this in today. I had high expectations for it, and it actually exceeded my expectations. I love the original Khamrah and I didn't expect Qahwa to be such a significant improvement. I don't mind wearing unisex fragrances like the original, but Qahwa leans more masculine than the OG. The key word to summarize why this is such an improvement over the original is BALANCE. The bitter coffee note is prominent and tempers the sweetness, it's the perfect contrast. The coffee balances everything perfectly and was the missing puzzle piece. It also adds more depth and character. I love sweet fragrances, including the OG, but the sweetness always felt a little unbalanced, like it needed something to temper it. I don't have many fragrances with a prominent coffee note, and this fills that void nicely. Recent releases like Born in Roma Green Stravaganza and Gentleman Society Extreme claim to have a coffee note, but it's too safe and timid. I wanted a real coffee note like the one Khamrah Qahwa delivers.

Performance is very good. Longevity, projection and sillage are all great.

CamiBar&Beverages

UPDATE: IT GOT MORE INTENSE, VERY RICH APPLE-TART LIKE, WITH CINAMMON AND A HINT OF COFFEE IN THE BACKGROUND. NOW WE'RE TALKING ABOUT NICHE. IMPRESSIVE, FASCINATING AND WELL ROUNDED.

Great opening, medium roast coffee bean, reminds me of a costa rica blend, a bit fruity and sour, i like the benzoin in this one, not subtle but carries the rest of the aromas together. It follows a cinnamon (sri lankan might be, not cassia) and vanilla (think on a creamy gelato, definitely not a raw bean, like a tom ford vanilla sex), in that order, elegant projection, not too strong, not too weak, about 1.5 to 2 mts max., there's a small earthy link between the coffee and tonka that's very interesting. Bit more floral the dry down (past about 2 hours), it evolves a bit more sweet and now i can pick up those candied fruit notes, getting closer to the skin but decent projection ( a bit less than 1 mt), more mature and powdery, more benzoin and musk present. Very interesting and well done by Lattafa, i´m in a "cheapies quality" mission in my trip to Dubai (so far S.A Oud Tonka and Rassasi Hawas). I believe it's already far from AS in a very good and unique way, not a clone definitely.

Dr.Rayes

This is khamrah, but on steroids!

I love this juice, performs twice as good as khamrah on my skin, no joke, the coffee note isn't really that much in your face.
Imagine spraying khamrah, just instead of that mind blowing sweetness, u get a slight edge of the coffee that breaks it and smoothes the whole thing.

Absolutely beautiful!

Ella Jay

This is an absolute masterpiece! It opens up with strong cognac and coffee vibes, then dries out with delicious candy and vanilla notes.
It’s a beast of a perfume and all it takes is a couple of sprays to leave a mark. Love it!

Bfish88

I have had the original Khamrah for about 6 months and wear it once or twice each week because it's that good! Plus my wife likes it and she rarely compliments me anymore since she's smelled probably a few thousand different frags on me in the last decade...but Khamrah gets the win every time.

So...I wanted a backup bottle but also wanted to try this one out. I'm actually glad I did! I've been wearing Qahwa for a week straight and here's my conclusion if you don't want to read further: LET IT MACERATE - IT'S PHENOMENAL - IF YOU COLLECT GET BOTH IF NOT THEN DECIDE IF YOU WANT DECAFFEINATED OR QAHWA. 8/10 fragrance

The original is probably a 9/10 but it's macerated nicely by using it and letting it settle in. Qahwa didn't have any coffee note on day 1 or day 2 but by day 7 we see it starting to bloom. Performance is also not there yet but getting better. While longevity is 8 to 10 hours, the projection is arms length after 2 and a nice small bubble for the remainder. It will improve no doubt about it.

Like I said before, you make the call but don't go into this thinking either one will replace Angels Share...they are in the family but definitely not twins. I'm glad to have both and only paid about $75 total to have BOTH of them at a fraction of only ONE niche fragrance. They smell amazing and of good quality without breaking my wallet. Lattafa has great value and I actually like their presentations as well.

spyturtle

Idk. Maybe it’s just me but this seems overrated, I don’t smell anything special about this. To me it smells like an apples n spice air freshener or room spray. It doesn’t smell bad, for now though I’m not seeing the appeal at such crazy levels.

Smells unisex to me.

MattRotar

Ok, this is really good. It does have some of that AS dna , but it goes into its own direction. Wouldn’t call it a clone at all. Its vanillic, boozy (but not as much as angels share), spicy and gourmand like. I dont get much coffee, but what I do get is a slight bitterness, that balances the sweetness beautifully. I have also tried the normal Khamrah, that one is a lot worse. Its too sweet, vanilla is overpowering and a tad synthetic, its kinda like that saying “too much of a good thing is a bad thing”. Qahwa is by far better. Its like they took Khamrah and fixed all of its flaws. Its no longer too sweet, projects better and lasts longer. I got 12+ hours out of it (thats the same I get from AS and that was 200€) and 6-8 out of the normal Khamrah. Its definitely on the level of Angels Share (which I also own, so im familiar with it), if not a tad better as a stand alone gourmand, boozy fragrance and thats not even mentioning the fact, I find it more wearable in warmer temperatures.
This is how I’d put it:

Khamrah 7/10
Angels share 8.5/10
Qahwa 9.2/10

SMcfc22

I Have JPG Elixr Male and SWYA, is this fragrance similar as I would not want 3 similar fragrances?

VK2Turnt

Nice mass-appealing fragrance. The original Khamrah didn't wow me, but after sampling this I knew I had to buy it instantly (I was originally going to buy another fragrance, but bought Qahwah as well).

Its a nice sweet fragrance, but not overly sweet like some Paco Rabanne/JPG fragrances. Coffee is very prevalent in the opening, seems to die down as the fragrance dries.

This is a BEAST in terms of projection for my 12/23 batch. My atomiser isn't the best, and sometimes spits out half sprays (or so I thought). I put 5-6 sprays to work as is my usual with other fragrances and my friend said he could smell me 50 metres ahead of my warehouse aisle (the warehouse is large and ventilated, its not like its a small room) and could tell I've been to certain places minutes before just by smelling the air. I put on another 3 sprays ~5 hours later and he said he could still smell me.

Solid projection for the first 2 hours, sits closer to the skin after that. I'm not entirely sure about the longevity, but my mum said she could still feintly smell it approximately 9 hours after I applied it to my elbows.

This is a huge compliment getter, I've worn it about 3 times and have gotten compliments every time wearing it. Not only "you smell good" but "what are you wearing?" as if they want to buy it for themselves. When I go to hug my mum, she usually just compliments me, but my first time wearing this she was shocked by how good I smelt.

I'd give it a solid 9.0/10 because of the scent, projection, longevity and price. Very unique smelling fragrance, but not in a bad way. Definately an autumn/winter fragrance, but its still very good in relatively cooler summer nights as well.

LittleBoost

I have the original Khamrah and have ended up buying bottles for friends who fall in love with it, so I figured Qahwa would be a safe buy.

I LOVE cardamom, ginger and coffee notes so I was so sure this was going to be a win. Unfortunately, for me the coffee note smelled like coffee grounds that had been left in the pot for a few hours. I was hoping for a fresh, rich, “beans when you open a new bag” smell which was definitely not the case. The spices clash with the less than optimal coffee note in a way I dislike too. I would consider it pretty unisex, it’s not overly sweet and has a gender neutral spiciness. Macerating didn’t really do much, left it alone for a month and still disliked.

Longevity is great and friends can smell you for a few hours. It lasts forever on clothes, I sprayed a bit on my sweater by accident and caught a wiff a few days later.

Overall, I think Lattafa has much stronger offerings than this and I’ve already sold my bottle.

Maya lilac

I have never tried the original Khamrah (or anything from Lattafa until now) so I don’t have much to compare it with, unlike most people here, on Fragrantica. But after trying the Qawha version, I want to get the original Khamrah as well. This stuff is amazing…

As a standalone perfume, Khamrah Qahwa, is a gourmand lover dream! It’s a rich, sweet, dense gourmand, with fruity-floral and spicy facets! It’s smooth, flawlessly blended and very nicely balanced. Has a soft spicy opening from cinnamon, cardamom and ginger, my most favourite spices, then it settles into a scrumptious gourmand with coffee, pralines, candied fruits, vanilla and tonka beans. Benzoin gives the juice such a warm, cozy feel! Perfect for fall and winter months.

What I love most about it is that it is sweet but it’s not sugarcandy sweet. Safe for blind buying if this scent profile is your thing! On the opposite side, a thing that I find disappointing about this is that the coffee note doesn’t stick out much on me, it’s quite short lived and subdued. And this version is supposed to feature prominently the coffee note, as indicated by the fragrance name itself!

Performs amazingly, lasts for days if sprayed on clothing and it is such an affordable perfume! The only thing I am not so fond of is the packaging and the bottle, looks quite cheap and plasticky..

Khamrah Qahwa is as good as any of us have heard all the online reviewers saying it is! 100% worth all the hype it gets and then some more…

jameslee

Very similar to the original Khamrah, but this flanker gets rid of the slight booziness and adds a strong coffee note that makes this fragrance more masculine and makes it stronger. However, for some reason, I dont like it as much as I like the original. Its less sweeter and gourmand, kinda smells like a christmas candle. Nice flanker tho, 7/10.

melancholi

this was amazing when i first bought it, a burst of sweet spice in the opening that dried down to a sweet scent that felt very natural on the skin. after about a month of use, it’s shifted to come off a bit powdery and abrasive for about an hour or two past when its opening notes fade away, and the spice fades faster than it used to. the powdery quality could come from its white florals in the middle notes, and i’m very sensitive to floral notes and often find them a bit synthetic so take that with a grain of salt. i’m hoping that it’ll macerate and settle back towards what it was at first, because that was a stellar fragrance i’d have been more than willing to make my signature scent.

Pola213

It wasn't too expensive so I bought a full bottle since I quite like the OG Khamrah ... Sadly - I don't like it. It smells like gingerbread to me. I dont want to smell like gingerbread 😭

vanillalova

The opening of it reminds me a bit of playdoh idk why(in a bad way), for about 15 minutes max.
however, past that, This reminds me of not really in a sense roasted coffee beans, or black coffee.
The presence of the other gourmand notes such as praline, cinnamon and vanilla add on to the coffee note and actually makes smell more like syrupy sweet coffee cake rather than the above-listed examples.
Intensely sweet, but a little less piercingly so than the original, so if you aren't into sugary sweet scents stay away!

Longevity is great, better than the current Khamrah batches dare I say.
~8 hours, first 2 hours around half-1 meter projection, then slowly dies to a skin scent by the 4th hour, disappears beyond 8hrs. (25'c night, humid and warm climate, paired with my dry skin, no moisturiser/vaseline used).

IMO it's unisex, leaning feminine.
outings and date nights would be good places to wear this.
Less is more, imo it gets quite cloying due to its intense sweetness :/.
For the prices you can find it for, you really can't go wrong :D.
Blind buy safe if you like the OG Khamrah/gourmand scents, though if you have the OG you don't really need this one. They are quite similar :/.(despite this I'd suggest whenever possible to get a decant.)
My only criticism would be that as an absolute coffee fiend, would loved them to have used a higher quality, darker roasted coffee accord or smth like that.(still can't complain as it still smells good)

cunt.dracula

The opening is like a burst of cardamon and ginger. It is intense & honestly unpleasant (to my nose) during that brief moment, it pulls VERY masculine. However just like the original, it took about 20 minutes to settle down, and the beauty of the fragrance came through. It's so much smoother than the original. Don't be fooled. Coffee might be a note, but it's not the center focus on this fragrance. It is NOT like a latte. There's clearly more notes at play here than the original. The tonka bean & praline came through pretty well.

It lasts about 6 hrs on my skin. Longer on clothes. Sillage was about moderate, but if you overspray, you will definitely have a bigger scent bubble and a trail.

I'd recommend Qahwa if you can tolerate that extra spicy opening & wanted a bit more depth in the original Khamrah

HotdogLegend

A little more mellow and less fruity than the original. Great fragrance.

ladz

this sh*t is so good. love it. i would recommend it.

NauticaBlueDrinker

Great smelling and performing frag. If you want everyone in the room to smell you as you walk in, this is the one. Sweet and will cause you to go noseblind. Don't need more than 2-3 sprays to fill the room for the next 6-7 hours, then to linger 4 ft around you for the next 18 hours. Jolly good frag

iRankFragrances

This is better than OG khamrah. I like the notes more and they are a lot more sweet on my skin. I definitely prefer this as in the OG you have Resins that are very prominent, which I am not a fan of. This dosent have a strong smoky smell either which I like.

I mainly like the Coffee+Chocolate/ly notes that are strong in this.

onurdroid

I'm not a fan of sweet fragrances but I bought OG and this one to give it a chance. Very sweet scents, just as I expected. Qahwa is very similar to OG, especially after dry down. Redunant to own both, trust me. OG is very similar to SWYI and 1 Million Elixir type fragrances. Qahwa is much more unique. I prefer Qahwa because of sweet coffe note+praline. It's basically OG + Cappuccino. Same beast mode. Unisex but a bit masculine leaning.

By the way, some of the comments about coffee note expectations are hilarious. Expecting a fresh roasted coffee note from this perfume is like ordering an americano from Starbucks and having it filled with milk, sugar, a little sweet syrup and then saying oh, this doesn't taste like black coffee. What kind of coffee smell do you expect with this ingredient habibi? Short answer is Arabian coffee, i mean Qahwa (:

Iveta IBM

I need Fragrantica to come up with a new rating system because this one here is so much more than just a simple "love" or "like" for me. I don't think I have smelled anything as intoxicating as this in a long, long time. You know the meme with Lady Gaga where she goes " brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular" etc? This summarizes my feelings for Khamrah Qahwa. The coffee note makes it, in my opinion, more delicious, warm and inviting than the OG (which is also gorgeous), I promise you you won't go unnoticed if you smell like this. And both the bottle and the box it comes in are just *chef's kiss" a work of art. And with this price, it almost feels illegal how crazy good it is.

kizaki_dwiky

Lattafa khamrah + Coffee notes = Qahwa, end of story. I'd still prefer original khamrah my favorite as always 🙆🏻♂️
Rate? 8/10

I never post reviews but I had to come on and talk about this fragrance.

A few weeks ago, I sprayed this on right when I got it before a doctors appointment. Walked in and 5 staff members smelled me from about 10 feet away and asked me what I was wearing to get for their sons.

Yesterday, I was getting ready for my first course of the day, sprayed 6 times, and was sitting about 25 feet away from my door putting my shoes on. My friend opens my dorms door and says "I smelled something through the hallway and knew it was you." This was about 30-35 feet away from where I was sitting.

I have a collection of 20 frags, all with very good projection (which is the main criteria I look for besides the actual scent profile) and this destroys the rest by a long shot except for my oud satin mood, which comes in a close second. Absurdly impressed, if yours doesn't project make sure it's not a fake. Never used anything like this before.

Venumb

A lot of people leave reviews here saying this is too sweet. So I get nosy and check their pages and almost every single one who complains about this only has men’s fragrances, this is the only sweet perfume in their lineup.

Read the description, read the notes. It’s a sweet perfume. Don’t buy it if you don’t like sweet perfumes. It’s not too sweet, most of you just don’t have sweet perfumes and probably don’t like sweet perfumes.

It’s like ordering a food that you typically don’t like and then complaining to the server.. What did you expect?

MareaCamacho

Layer this with black opium over red if you have it. They really elevate each other. They blend wonderfully 💕 ❤️

makkiefragrance

Just bought this one after seeing many people saying it was even better than the og khamrah.

Well i think it's disgusting. The amount of sweetness that is in this fragrance is sickening.

Tatee

Blind bought it and to my nose this is very good. It is sweet and I understand not many people like that but if you only spray 1 or 2 times it is very pleasant. I think many people will like this even if it's on the sweeter side. If you are debating to buy it or not just buy it because it's a very likeable scent.

TheNrrn

My brother blind bought this and it was crazy good. It smells mostly of pralines and kind of like an alcoholic drink, just as the name suggests. I'd imagine this is what whiskey would smell like (I never came anywhere near an alcoholic drink before). It smells yummy. It's unisex but definitely more on the masculine side; I tried to wear it myself but it didn't feel right.

Sillage is enormous and longevity is eternal. I could tell which rooms he entered because his smell would last there. I once wrestled him after he sprayed the perfume by 3 hours and the perfume stuck to my shirt somehow and stayed there for 2 weeks. I could smell my shirt while it was at the foot of the bed and I was trying to sleep. I think the bottle he got was old so the perfume was stronger than the newer batches. When we received the perfume the box was beaten up and dusty and yellowing.

I'm inspired to now blind buy Khamrah as I heard it's more feminine leaning. I hope it's as good as this one

saoirsemoon

I enjoy khamrah but I enjoy this version much more. The coffee note is subtle, but it’s there and it’s delicious. I feel as though they refined the OG with this and overall it just smells much smoother and yummier on me- love!!!

KarlK

I wasn't sure if I liked this fragrance when I first tried it. The spices were way too strong, it didn't seem at all creamy and smooth. And it was a little bit alcoholy at first spray. It lasted very very VERY long though, I sprayed a paper receipt about 5 times and placed the paper in an airtight container. And I can still smell the fragrance on the paper about a week later.

I put it aside for about 10 days, and I can't believe how smooth it is now. I sprayed another paper and it's just creamy, yummy, vanilla scent. Crazy thing, that first offer of paper still smells very spicy, like what I think an Arabian kitchen smells like, but the second piece of paper kinda smells like a bakery.

I'm planning to keep this aside for a month or so, I think it'll smell just gorgeous after it rests a while.

Highly recommend. Don't judge it too harshly when it's new, this is a beautiful scent. I can't stop sniffing my wrist!

renee1

I really like this as well Khamrah. Both are sweet for daytime but are cozy for evenings at home, especially in cold weather. I often wear one of the two to bed.

yanuardwi21

A more manly version of khamrah. I think this one is the balance version for those who thinks the OG is too sweet. It is straight up khamrah with additional cofffee. A beast coffee fragrance. Definitely a safe blind buy

c2714w

Have only tried Qawha, not the OG. I wanted to blind buy one of them but decided to get this, because from what I heard it is slightly more masculine than the OG. But it still is definitely unisex. I wouldn’t say it dominantly leans towards either male or female, just a solid unisex. The coffee note is definitely there, but is not dominant. It sort of just balances everything out. Rather than just straight up noticing the coffee note, you will get random whiffs of it at times. I wouldn’t buy this expecting it to be coffee-heavy. It is a super sweet gourmand, smells like a slice of freshly baked pie with a cup of coffee. I wouldn’t buy this unless you like VERY sweet fragrances

kipsu

I am not getting a lot of coffee from this. I haven't tried Khamrah, but this is a super sweet, unisex but feminine-leading imo, cinnamon pie. Smells super gourmand to me, and is actually really potent in its projection and longevity.
It kind of reminds me of SWI / 1 Million Elixir, although this leans more towards a sweeter side, and without the hazelnut- or rose note in each fragrance.
For the price, it actually smells really good, and the presentation is 10/10.
Will definitely repurchase this if I ran out, however this feels like a special-occasion application for me.
Scent: 8/10 (The cardamom just makes this very pleasing)
Longevity: 9/10
Projection 10/10
Price pr ml 9/10 (Just keep in mind, that it's a very sweet fragrance, although not as sweet as something like Billie Eilish/Ari Cloud)

AlbusTran

I really tried to like Khamrah but it is too sweet for my taste. Unisex but leans feminine. At first, Khamrah Qahwa smells exactly like its predecessor - a bit tone down but same. To my nose, cardamon is the one that make the different. Nice. After 1 hour, Qahwa become heavenly. I smell praline, vanilla with a hint of coffee. Being honest, I was bit disappointed because coffee note is not dominant in the drydown. But it's okay. I will buy a full bottle of Qahwa and no need to consider buying a full bottle of Khamrah. I barely say this but Qahwa is an improvement of original Khamrah FOR MEN. Performance is the same as original: beast mode. I used 4 sprays and it projected like crazy. After a night and a shower, the scent still there in my skin. In my experience, it works better in the cold weather or air-conditioned room.

For 30$, this is more than perfect for gourmand lovers or anyone who craves unisex scents. Highly recommend.

Swiftnick

Og khamrah was to sweet so I gave it to my fiancée,just got this a couple of weeks ago and love it with that coffee note so less sweet and more for gents in my opinion..

Fragnant

I had to hold off the urge to buy once I tested it out at my local Arab owned perfume outlet. The opening is dates and coffee and praline but it doesn’t last. The dry down is reminiscent to Sharaf blend. If I press my nose in the arm the notes sweeten with the ghost of Abercrombie and Fitch. I know it’s strange. That’s like the only undertone I detect in an overall sweet fragrance. More complex than the og which is a win. Since I already by Sharaf Blend I will pass on this one until I run out. 1-2 sprays is all you need.

Mueller89

It’s a sweet fragrance with spices that remind me of Christmas. To me the praline is very noticeable, it sort of smells like a dark chocolate praline filled with coffee, vanilla, cardamom and cinnamon. I got it for around 40€, and for that price it is definitely worth it. To me this is an 8/10, and a decent blind buy option if you like sweet fragrances.

mhamzamaqsood

I don't understand the hype about this fragrance. Blind bought it based on the reviews on youtube and extremely disappointed with my purchase. I can't stand it as its too sweet. Don't blind buy, if you like blue fragrances like BDC, Sauvage, Tygar and Ysl Y etc.

Venumb

I understand some people don’t get the coffee because it isn’t western roasted coffee, it’s arabic coffee which is completely different. Arabic coffee uses ground up cardamom and a little ginger in the coffee blend. Don’t expect it to smell like something in a starbucks cup, it’s just a different type of coffee.

This is such a good homage to an arabic coffee break from an arabic brand. Sweets, dates( even though not listed )and arabic coffee.

So much nostalgia, I love it!

tee.theeb

saw the reviews and blind bought it. and I'll never regret that, the new khamrah qahwah has an opening of the coffe with that amazing sweet cinnamon taste.

should you buy it?
well whether blind buying or not you'll be happy as long you like sweet notes.

Performance?
I think it's great and could be compared to Nishe. long-lasting and has GREAT projection.

I don't recommend overspraying. Personally, 3 sprays are more than enough

Gail14

Khamrah with coffee! A bit stronger. Nice Coffee fragrance!! :))

Finisterle

Safe blind buy if you want full bodied power cake.

The coffee note is mid range. Don´t expect the smoke from a coffee roastery. No fragrance will ever be THAT good :) It cost me twice what I paid for Khamrah 1.

Samburg

I'm never trusting reviews ever again, I'll only go for the critical ones. This fragrance is alright, not as good as they hyped it. Honestly I can't understand why someone would want to smell like this, it's too sweet. I'll use it to fill the living room with it just before the guests come, instead of using candles.

My advice is even though it's cheap, go for something else. This one is not worth it

perlindvall

Like burned Khamrah.

Sohel rehman khan

old one and the new one...are same but little bit Cinnamon on the new one.i have both of then

dfreeman

This thing is an absolute beast. Like actually insane. Very yummy gourmand smell. Fruity, cinnamon, sweet, a bit coffee, a bit boozy. This is longest lasting fragrance I've ever had and literally just wouldn't go away, so strong it's almost a downside.

8/10

JasKiew

I wore a few sprays of Khamrah Qahwa
Yesterday and liked it much better than og Khamrah. Qahwa doesn't have the sweet dates and has a short lived coffee note and is more musculine. It's rather strong and projects really well. Nice gourmandy niche like scent that's worth more than it's value.

Rayy.an

I was curious about the coffee version of Khamrah so I blind bought it. It's exactly the original khamrah with a coffee opening. The coffee almost fades within 30 minutes and you're left with OG Khamrah which I love with tiny bits of vanilla praline. The scent lasts on clothes for a couple of days.

Kojon

I was excited for this one, since so many people swear by Khamrah, and this one apparently tones down the sweetness a bit and makes it more masculine-leaning. I love coffee scented anything, and this sounded like the perfect winter fragrance for me. I would say it's good, but not mind-blowing like the hype would have you believe.

It starts off with a smell that I find nauseating, dominated by an overwhelming amount of synthetic sweetness, which I assume is the praline note. It's a cloying fake starchy sweetness that's hard to explain, but smells like a cheap box of chocolates and sawdust (to my nose at least, I don't know how else to describe it). Being around the smell gives me an instant headache. The dry-down however is very nice. The coffee note, which is actually done well, is pleasant albeit a bit muted. Despite what others say I find it sticks around as a base note and doesn't completely disappear. The spices and other listed notes are there but again those fade into the background. The dominant scents in this fragrance are that starchy praline, dry balsamic woodiness, and a smooth vanilla that's accentuated by the light coffee note. It's an interesting fragrance profile that's warm, comforting, and gourmand without being sickeningly sweet.

The thing that amazes me is how much this fragrance changed after spraying some and letting the bottle sit for about a month. I absolutely hated it when I first got it and it genuinely made me sick because the ONLY thing you could smell was that synthetic praline note, but it's actually pleasant now. Maceration is such an interesting thing. As of now, I really do like this fragrance, but it's not an absolute love. As with many gourmands, it's not very versatile, especially for a man. This is something I would wear lightly, as it is very loud. I'm still not even sure the best way to wear this, as I've only wore it out once before. I picture it would be good for casual outings on a winter night. Sitting in a library or cafe studying for exams. Maybe date nights if you're with someone who would appreciate a fragrance like this.

Also an important thing to mention is that this smells very harsh and synthetic on skin, only when it projects into the air and lingers does it fully evolve into a pleasant scent. Longevity and projection on this are impressive for a $40 fragrance. Bottle and even the packaging are beautiful and high-quality. Relatively safe blind buy if you like to wear sweet or gourmand fragrances. If you have to pick this or the original, go with this one as it's a tiny bit of extra depth without changing anything about the original.

Scentence1991

For £41 from Notino UK, I am pleasantly surprised at the performance on offer here, you may expect the scent profile to be from a perfume that is quite abit more expensive, I have sniffed fragrances that are not as pleasing that are more expensive, for some a little bit cloyingly sweet & synthetic smelling at first but it calms down after abit, it does project quite heavily also whilst the wearer goes nose blind to it, just be cautious with the spray count.

This is my first fragrance by Lattafa & I have never sniffed the far more expensive fragrance that the OG was apparently cloned from and I haven’t sniffed Khamrah OG so can’t compare against those like others have done however I don’t smell much in the way of Coffee(Qahwa) in the fragrance, The Praline & Coffee notes to me actually smell like a deep, dark caramel, almost like burnt caramel but without any actual smell of something burning, the dry down is the nicest part, a cosy winter time fragrance for sure.

If you like sweet gourmand fragrances you’ll like this; Very nice and for the performance verses its price I’d give it a solid 8/10.

Kennisorg

I didn’t get to pick out the coffee note. However, the scent does betray the price. You would expect something cheap smelling, linear, common and insecticide smelling given the price $30. However, the presentation is great, the opening is sweetly divine and the dry-down too is surprisingly amazing. The performance (long lasting with good sillage) is worth it. Definitely one to have in your collection if you don’t mind sweet smelling scents. My challenge is how to keep it away from my spouse!

RobertJames

This is more of the same to be honest. Those hoping for a noticeable coffee note will be disappointed. Also this does lean to the feminine side as its pretty much sweet note on top of sweet note. Complete redundancy if you already own the original.

Note: This is not an Angels Share clone. There are many others that do that way better than either of the Khamrah’s.

ChiliOfTheValley

Khamrah Qahwa is such a disappointment for me, as it barely has any coffee in it. I was expecting freshly roasted coffee beans on top of Khamrah, but it’s more of a “Nescafe 3in1” instant coffee type of note, which totally dissipates in about 15 minutes, and you’re basically left with “just” Khamrah.

So, except for the opening, this is about 95% similar to the OG. Absolutely redundant to own both, and I don’t really like either of them, but if I had to choose one, it would be Khamrah Qahwa, just because I find it slightly less nauseating than the original.

On the upside, the performance is amazing, this lasts a really long time, over 12 hours on skin and project really well with only a couple of sprays. Unisex, leaning slightly feminine, and definitely a late fall to winter fragrance.

Schondis

I was very excited when it arrived and expected it to be a very delicious fragrance. Unfortunately it's very strong, personally I find it a bit too strong. The intial spray was *too much* but as it settles on the skin, it actually becomes quite pleasant. Someone else here mentioned that it would be a lovely scent for a candle, and I agree. Nice but not in an "I want to smell like this" kind of way..

robert.beurkens

This smells good, I really thought I liked it at first. After an hour or so I realized that although it does smell good, it's not what *I* want to smell like. This is a great smell for a candle or a room spray but I don't want to smell like a candle.

This lasts forever, I could still smell a skin scent on my arm 24 hours later after 2 showers! The coffee note is a bit synthetic and has a plasticky feel to it. I feel this fragrance is definitely more feminine than masculine, it lacks a rich, dark, depth. It's just a light creamy, yummy vanilla with a hint of spice.

dopo8043

Absolutely delish.

SusannaM

Like it's older sibling, the cinnamon note is strong (I sometimes hold my breath) but the dry-down is worth it. Like the OG, I layer with other vanilla-based scents, including the viral layering methods as shown on TikTok with the eos Vanilla Cashmere lotion and Vaseline cocoa radiant body oil, after a bath with vanilla/cookie-scented body wash. On clothes, the scent lasts well into the next day. I get so many compliments - esp after a hug.

RajahBoiii

Greetings from the hot and tropical country of The Philippines! (and my first review on fragrantica)

I blind bought this since I was already familiar with the original Khamrah DNA - a sweet, boozy, and mostly a cinnamon-based fragrance. I own fragrances like Angels' Share and Oajan, and Khamrah is right up that alley of delicious cinnamon heaven. Despite the heavy difference in price and other stereotypes on Arab Dupe Houses, I appreciate Khamrah as a fragrance on its own, and not as a 'dupe' or interpretation of Angels Share. That's why I loved it.

But I was starting to think that my obsession with cinnamon-based fragrances would be redundant if I bought Khamrah, having 2 already great fragrances with similar DNAs would sound crazy right?! So I was hesitant on buying the OG and waited and waited. Until Lattafa announcing a flanker last December.

Aromatix on YouTube basically stated it in a fragrance convention that it is basically Khamrah, with a coffee note. That's it.

I blind bought it, and here are my thoughts after a week of wearing it.

My thoughts:
-Lovely, absolutely lovely. You still get the original Khamrah DNA, but with a simple addition of a "Qahwa" or Coffee note. It smells like a candied and sweet Nescafe coffee blend. Which is absolutely delicious!

Performance: (On my skin)
-10 to 12 hours, projection is very strong for about 4 hours.

-I had the mindset of Arab Perfumes being "BEASTMODE", but ever since I got many dupes/arab fragrances brands from Fragrance World or Paris Corner, my mind was set to disbelief as most of those fragrances didn't last long AT ALL

-But this is a genuinely long-lasting fragrance, and it is no joke.

Verdict:
I wanna eat myself every time I wear this, in school I got 8 compliments the first time I wore this.
I wore this on my research thesis defense, and I even got a compliment from the panelist.
And of course, if the girlfriend loves it, I gotta love it aswell :D

note: this is my first fragrantica review, i know there are more things i can improve on :D thank you! and oh man do i smell good XD

Mar1666

Won this one in a giveaway was super excited when it arrived.
First few sprays I got the vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom coming right off the bat with a smooth almost faint coffee like a iced
White mocha with candies and shit.

The coffee doesn’t really stay for long but the combination of all notes together does end up
Making this super nice gourmand semi boozy scent.

Alright so after a whole month or so of it letting the fragrance be as it is.

I rechecked it and then it developed into something wayyy more complex yet kinda still true to the scent dna of khamrah

I got a sticky date and Caramel syrup covered lightly spiced Christmas plum cake with coffee and rum or maybe some Baileys with lovely vanillas.
Mind you the coffee still lingers only for a while but it’s still worth it.

Alot of people say it’s very redundant and similar to the og khamrah i think if you give it enough time to develop or macerate there can definitely be a difference.

Longevity wise 5-6 sprays gives me 10-11 hours with the scent still lingering around to the next day.

Projection is like kinda above arms Length but you won’t give anyone a headache dw.

Only wished the projection was a little better and the coffee was more present or else it’s an amazing scent perfect for night time or evening
Even a cold windy day.

On its own it’s a must have gourmand so that’s one thing to go for.

Overall rating:
Longevity:7.99/10
Sillage:7.9/10
Projection:7.5/10
Uniqueness:8/10
Value for money:11/10

Rock76

Very similar to the OG Khamrah. I have both, redundant purchase for Qahwa. Coffee note only lasts awhile then disappears after 30mins or so and becomes the original Khamrah on dry down. Performance is also weaker compared to the OG. Get this only if you don’t own the original else save your money.

etmpewo

For me this perfume is stronger than Khamrah (no Qahwa added).

I bought the Khamrah some time ago, as it would be nice standing next to Angels’ Share and the rating was high. So, just for the looks of it. I was surprised I liked this scent so much, as it was so cheap.

Then I saw the Qahwa and bought it as well, exacly for the same reasons.

WoW! The 3 bottles DO look nice together!
And this time I was even more surprised, as this scent is even nicer. Strong, lasts for a whole day.
It’s, to me, very boosy. And at the beginning I do get the Angels’ Shares smokeyness. But then it moves and has a bit more of an Arabian twist to it.
I think it’s Angels’ Share relative. Some may say close, some distant.

A very good buy for me.

DJUANGO

Reminds me a lot of Werther's candy. Candy- esque sweetness. Definitely a strong performer. Probably 2 sprays is all you need for the whole day, anymore and you'll knock yourself/ others out. Does not share anything in common with angel's share. Supposedly this flanker is the same as the OG. So with that said, if you need an exact clone to Angel's share this is not it. Don't get me wrong it's still a nice fragrance.

Sohel rehman khan

lattafa on fire......recently bought it.

Emoody

The opening is quite enticing, it has this delightful blend of Arabic coffee and cinnamon that really captures the senses. However, as the fragrance settles, I find myself feeling underwhelmed. It's as if the complexity and richness of the top notes gradually give way to a scent that's all too familiar - Nivea cocoa butter lotion or any shea butter body moisturizers. It's not that I don't appreciate the aroma of cocoa butter, but it's not what I was expecting or hoping for in the dry down of this particular fragrance. Disappointed although it’s not a bad fragrance.

First Mate Andy

Got yesterday, not completely impressed yet. longevity is rather weak for me for some reason. it is much brighter/lighter than I expected (not having smelt the original or angles share before). With a very nice spicy fruity blend- a light sweetness rather than the darker/heavier scent I expected. I get some stone fruit or ripe currant notes along with the white florals. It has a very nice boozy sweetness. hoping it will macerate and somehow have better longevity? if you can get this for less than 45 I think its still very much worth it. incredibly well blended just not great sileage or longevity on me.

Bibi16

Blew my mind, this is INCREDIBLE ! Screams niche. The way the spices are blended here guys, perfection. It is so suave, sweet & grown. The coffee on me is present and it’s creamy and I’m obsessed.

Opens with the nicest blend of cinnamon with cardamom and ginger (the most tamed spices I have ever smelt), then comes Praline, candied fruits, a very present white floral, creamy coffee with vanilla. I smell every note at different stages of the wear.

Not a spicy frag, just has a kick at least to my nose. Nothing harsh.

10/10!

Edit (that same evening): Wore it to bed, woke up smelling it even after my shower, wearing it today and this baby lasts and creates the most beautiful scent bubble, I'm obsessed!!

Now I have to test the OG to see how that one compares.

Moldy

I LOVEEEEE IT!!
I wanted to buy the OG but I stopped myself from doing it since I spent so much money on other perfumes, and I started to regret it when I saw it going from 30€ to 60€ in less than a month, other than being really difficult to find.
I accidentally found Qahwa on Notino at 35€ when I was looking for a shampoo, and I couldn't stop myself from buying it, and I'm glad I did it since it went sold out 2 days after.
The perfume is a bit boozy right when you spray it, but without the alcohol part, I can really feel the cinnamon, the praline and the cardamom, as well as the coffee. The drydown is all vanilla and I love it. It stays very long on the skin and a lot on the clothes too. I still haven't worn it outside, but I am sure that it will get me a lot of compliments!! Definitely safe blind buy if you like gourmands :)

Ashleyt22510

I love the dry down of this perfume but I find the top notes to smell a lot like some sort of cheap holiday candle at least at this (early) point of owning it, the heart and body are fantastic smelling though.

Rishbfrag

On first spray this whacked me in the nose so hard I swear nose hairs were burning… it’s strong. To me personally, it kind of smells like a middle eastern uncle who doesn’t know when to stop spraying. I like gourmands, but this is not my jam.

Myrtillajus

Kamrah is a really interesting perfume.
For lovers of coffee, praline and slightly boozy scents it is literally perfect.
Sweet, enveloping and intense, with an underlying opulence that distinguishes it.
Excellent and above all a good compromise.
Unfortunately it's not my genre, but I appreciated it.
Warm, ideal for the colder seasons.

gogerix

Quite similar to Khamrah, but I feel that the candyish coffee note with tiny hints of lavender that comes out after 10-15 mins in this kind of balances the rougher sweet overdose elements of Khamrah, making this ultimately a more enjoyable, better scent.
Love this.

Zvonimir

I just got this in the mail. Nice packaging, bottle looks cool. The juice inside is like dark cognac.

TBH I was expecting more out of the box, but I’m pretty sure this thing needs to be exposed to air and to macerate for some time to bring out true nature of this parfume.

It does have a nice sweet profile, but for that to kick in it needs time because once sprayed on the hand and trying it out it smells like the cheap deo with a lot of alcohol in the background. As mentioned before, hope the maceration fixes that.

I didn’t get the chance to try out the original Khamrah so I can’t compare those two.

I’ll come back in some time to give my 2nd opinion on this one.

Have a good one frag fam.

❤️

BLIENTELE

Just got it, sprayed it right out the box, smells exactly like JPG Le Beau edt to me for some reason, and that’s totally fine with me tbh 🤣
Will let it sit for a few weeks/months maybe it’ll change a bit.

ChristianSchepp

If you have the original, no need to get this. 99% the same thing

Kaiden460

Update from previous review:

Honestly this is really good. It starts out smelling like a cheap winter candle but then it develops and gets much better, I feel like you have to get used to it for a day before it reveals itself as the masterpiece it is. It’s definitely long lasting and great projection, I do 4 sprays and you get a nice scent bubble around you.

Scent: 9/10
Silage: 10/10
Longevity: 9/10

chicagogirl

I haven't smelled the original Khamrah but I do know a lot of people compare that to Angels Share. To me this really does smell like Angels Share but way more yummy and ginger-y. I also smell like a roasted nutty note and it smells soo delicious. It also reminds me of Kayali Invite Only Amber. I love the cinnamon ginger and cardamom, it smells delicious!! I really wish I could smell the coffee note but I do not smell it at all. I am never really able to smell coffee notes in perfume though (other than in Intense Cafe for like 5 miliseconds when first sprayed lol). It smells very high quality for the price. The bottle, packaging and everything about the presentation is top notch too. Lattafa really outdid themselves once again.

Shiam

For everyone who has struggled to open the cap just like me, i just found out you're supposed to twist the cap while opening it and it should come off pretty easily🫡

Unfav

Okay, so after reading a lot of reviews online on Lattafa Khamrah I ultimately decided on blind-buying Qahwa hearing that its not much different than the original but slightly more darker and of course with a coffee note. I received my fragrance today and sprayed it on a testing strip first go. For the first 30 minutes it smelled like a very cheap yankee candle that you could find at your local Marshal's. I was disappointed, especially with all the hype surrounding it. As it was drying down the notes were getting slightly less sweeter and more toned but still very much Yankee.

Fast forward and I'm in my room and decide to now spray it on my skin. My lord the difference is immense and it went from Yankee candle to an elegant gourmand scent that's very sweet, spicy, and dark. Definitely is very unisex, don't own original Khamrah so don't know if its similar but if you also don't own the original I would keep in mind that it can lean feminine for some noses.

This is a newly obtained bottle so on first impression, I'm happy. Especially for the price point, its a "why not?" fragrance. I got it for 35$ so I wouldn't spend more than 40$ on this if you can. I can't wait to see what it smells like once it macerated for awhile.

Tboggs93

Woooooooooow!!! This is the first fragrance in a LONG TIME (been collecting 5 years) that literally blew me away, this stuff is immaculate!! I couldn't stop sniffing my wrist when I was testing it, and the performance is incredible. Such a strong, sweet, delicious smelling fragrance. It was a little more unisex than I was expecting but I think guy or girl can easily pull this off, and I'd say it's more of a special occasion type fragrance, not something I'd wear daily but to something formal or a date or something. I'm extremely impressed by this fragrance and so happy I bought it. Can't give this enough praise especially for the price and the presentation is beautiful as well! Get it!!

Shiam

70% similar to the original, but this is more boozy, spicy, creamy, and actually alot more complex than the original. It changed a lot between those 12+ hours it lasted on me, the best part for me was 1,5 hours in to wearing this it had an amazing sillage surrounding me.

This works in a lot of situations but you have to be outside so people don’t get choked out. First time i sprayed it was at home, 2 sprays on my arm and my whole apartment smelled like this for several hours.

Is it redundant to own both? NO, it's different enough if you ask me but at the same time you have to consider how much use you’ll get out of it since this is a beastmode performer and will strictly work well in colder environments.

Edit:
3 weeks later haven’t touched it until now, the coffee note is much more prominent from the beginning throughout the whole lifespan of the fragrance and i would now say it’s 60% similar to the original Khamrah.

Kaiden460

I bought this online for around 40 without ever having the original khamrah, the top notes are little spicy, warm, fresh, and sweet, right after it starts to become a little darker and sweeter. Not sickeningly sweet but if you don’t like sweet don’t get this. Has a slightly boozy, fruity, sweet vibe. I sprayed this once on my wrist and it filled my whole room, not too strong but it just projects beautifully. Don’t buy this for anything over 50 because you can find it on Amazon for 35. I don’t get a very strong coffee note right now but I just got this 10 minutes ago so i will come back with and update when it dries down.

AstralMatrix

Don't be like me that almost didn't order Khamrah Qahwa because someone online said it was too similar to the original.🙄 IT IS NOT! Good thing I decided to find out for myself.

Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud is more similar to By the Fireplace than Khamrah is to Khamrah Qahwa.

This flanker leans into a saltier, more syrupy direction that is less feminine and more masculine if you know what I mean. It smells to me truly unisex, while Khamrah does not.

If you as a man found Khamrah nice but too girly-smelling (which I do but still wear it), Khamrah Qahwa is more in the zone of Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo, smelling thicker and sweeter without the more feminine notes.

I mean it culturally-speaking in terms of set olfactory trends. I know scents are gender-less!🤓 So, if you like Khamrah, I advice you don't assume you'll like this one. It leans in a different way and it's possible you won't enjoy the differences, which are drastic.

Khamrah is a very delicate and nuanced fragrance, which is what makes it special and particular, even if it's an inspired dupe. This Qahwa flanker alters its balance totally. I love it and prefer it over the original, but you might not.

It gained magic on one aspect but lost it on another!

fiskElina

What in the actuall h*ll ? I sprayed it on my wrist and an hour later I take a 2h bubblebath with a fruity smell. I get out of it and dries AND ITS STILL SMELLS ON MY WRIST?! My first ”middle eastern” fragrance and Ive heard they’re good but THIS? This is insane!?
…and yes, I also like the smell. Sweet, warm and spicy tea with a slice of toffee pie! Amazing for cold weather (I live in Sweden and its about -25 celsius outside)..!!

The DZ

I am not familiar with the original Khamrah, but at first this was disappointing. For the first 30 minutes it smelled like a literal Yankee Candle. And not in a good way, just kind of cheap, sweet, and flat.

Over the next few hours it did turn into something nicer, spicier, and more complex. Very sweet, but not sickeningly so. Longevity is very good, lasting over 12 hours on the skin.

Pound4Pound

What else need to be said?
This is an improvement over the original Khamrah.
And this is through & through, DELICIOUS!! A wonderful gourmand.

AdelaH

Slightly disappointed (read: I like it, but the expectation was different...higher). I wish the coffee was more present. I smell much sharper version of the OG, with loads of cardamom, cinnamon and ginger, with a hint of sweet vanilla coffee. It actually smells like the most amazing winter/Christmas candle. I'm just not sure I want to smell like a candle.

It's a beast when it comes to sillage and longevity.

I accidentally layered it with Tom Ford Ombre Leather and it's a 💣! Love that! Smells like a coffee date with a sexy, sophisticated Harley driver, who has a weakness for pralines.

Update: Okay, more I wear it, more coffee I get from it. And also more softer it gets.
Another layering try that I find fairly interesting - layered with Trésor La Nuit Intense (I like the cherry tone combined with the coffee, but now I smell more of the Lancôme, than Qahwa.

Update no 2: OKAY! I'm taking back the "Being disappointed". It is amazing, sweet, spicy and smooth!!! The beginning is the Christmas candle I wrote about, but after an hour - it's so sophisticated. And more and more I wear it, more and more I smell the coffee and also the white flowers. I prefer Qahwa over the OG, which for me has a slightly salty touch (I believe that's amberwood). I think I need to buy a backup bottle of Qahwa now.

BantamDraper

Gourmand, dessert frag through and through!!! An absolutely fantastic cold… AND I DO MEAN cold weather scent. Opens with a burst of sultry, sugary fruit mixed in with a sweet cognac around the sides and wafts of vanilla/cinnamon all throughout. As it dries down it keeps that roast coffee smell through it’s span.

Unfortunately I live in Florida and cold days are few and far between, which is good, because you don’t want to overdo this one TOO much. With anything, always in moderation. Definitely one of my top 5 gourmand scents.

nuvanille

Incredible gourmand. You can just open the cap and it will already fill the air around you.

The scent: Rich, decadent, dark, and sweet. Praline, dates, vanilla, tonka, musk and that slightly bitter coffee is just incredible and projects extremely well.

Eaatwood

On the initial spray I thought this was just a toned down version of the OG Khamrah. I got a very faint hint of coffee, but it wasn’t until I actually sprayed this on clothing ( something I don’t usually do) that I got this fragrance to fully develop for some odd reason. I figured I needed to spray this and let it sit for a few weeks. I then let it sit with the cap off for a few weeks and wore it again and I have to say I like it better than the OG. The OG is fantastic, but it’s quite strong if you go more than 2 sprays from my experience. It can be a bit too much when in doors. It’s literally a room filler and will overpower other scents in the vicinity. Can’t go wrong with either and they’re similar in price if you know where to look.

IrisCroatica

Chocolate pralines filled with coffee liquor. Intoxicating and wonderful ♥️♥️ Quite long lasting too

CLevol

The first sniff is really PERFECT but after 3 ours it turns out to be the next Arabian cheapy.

ventez

Imagine entering a luxurious coffee shop, yeah that's pretty much how it smells like but IN A GOOD WAY. It also lasts FOR HOURS!!! Totally recommend it if you enjoy gourmand yet spicy scents.

Graduate2018

This is Khamrah with a drop of coffee. Save your money and get the OG for a discounted price.
Follow me on IG @perfumista225 for an in-depth review

Samasama

Absolutely get this if:

- you dont own Khamrah.
- you really want to enjoy a ghost coffee note that is actually pretty close to nowhere to be found.

With that being said, it is 1:1 to the og on performance and behaviour on clothes and skin. A very good way to get on the hype train (unless you already had hopped in)

MemesRUs

This fragrance is heck of a steal, price ranges from $30-60 on Amazon depending on the day although I got it on Jomo for $55ish. The projection is far and the scent lasts over 8 hours. I personally think it smells like mocha / cappuccino while my girlfriend thinks it smells like toasted coconut - either way, it smells amazing.

Edit: I am not a sweets person, and I rarely crave sweets but this makes me want to eat chocolate so bad, lol.

mamijuana

Department store vibes.. a holiday candle you found at Marshalls in the far back shelf...cute packaging but do i wanna smell like a candle?.. dont get any coffee.

AnosmiaAnosognosia

Two thumbs up. I like it better than Khamrah. This and Sharaf Blend are similar. If I didn't have Khamrah, I would suggest just getting this one instead. Leans more feminine, but I love the sweets gourmands!

12/19/23-
Monster performance as well. Been wearing since I got it, smells great from top to bottom, lasts and lasts.

rolls.oud&cigar

I thought for sure this will be a Xerjoff Golden Dallah clone, it's not, and tbh my opinion, this is better than Golden Dallah, Qahwa was done right, i do love the original Khamrah they are both different, i see myself wearing Qahwa more, the coffee note in it is just nice but this fragrance needs maturing or maceration, it'll need 2-3 months before you'll get a good and accurate review, now you'll just get opinions and people complaining about a $20 fragrance, And Lattafa did a mistake releasing this in winter they should've released it in summer since they don't macerate

dean_scent

I get that why people say there's not much prominent coffee notes in this one, in my opinion as a baker, that notes from dates and pralines overshadowing the coffee notes but the coffee notes are there. Your nose might be messed up because of the combination of these 3 notes.

pokemon.1809

To my nose it smells like lipstick and praline that's it. Quite sweet & strong smell wise, but I don't like it. I imagine this is for those guys who have more unmanly (womanish) aura around them. No offense :))))

kristoferiscariot

people who say this doesn’t smell like coffee.. are nose blind. huge coffee bomb. i instantly thought of montale intense cafe. this really is a beautiful fragrance, very smooth and gourmand.

trulaker9

WOW! The sillage on this fragrance is MASSIVE! This stuff literally burnt itself into my sense of smell and I had a tough time getting the scent off my skin. Something may have happened in transit, but the bottle itself reeks of the scent although the volume in the bottle looked full so I don't think it was leaking at all. Unfortunately, this stuff is way too strong for my personal taste and I had to get rid of it. Don't get me wrong the smell isn't terrible, but it literally smells like someone who bathes in potpourri. It gave me vibes of being in a home goods or craft store and walking down the Thanksgiving aisles. I would say it leans more feminine and it just wasn't my jam.

Nuaimi200

When comparing Lataffah Khamrah and Gahwa, some might mistakenly assume they're the same. However, Lattafa Gahwah is distinctly more intense, featuring additional notes and a stronger scent than the original (OG). If you lean towards a lighter fragrance, the original is your choice. On the other hand, if you crave a more opulent, sweeter scent with hints of Arabic coffee, Gahwa is the ideal option. It's important to note that the fragrance of Arabic coffee differs from Brazilian coffee. This combination evokes the specific image of an Arabian person enjoying dates while savoring Gahwa.

Also Many reviewers tend to assess this fragrance primarily based on its opening notes. However, the most notable difference in scent is during the dry down – it becomes considerably sweeter. It's crucial not to overapply; this perfume is potent. Opt for two to three sprays at most, as exceeding this may result in unfavorable reactions. Depending on how many sprays you spray it will lean more feminine. So over spraying is strongly not advised.

Luigi408

Not as good as the original. Performance is worse as well (but by no means weak). Leans a little more feminine to my nose. Just grab the OG since it’s cheaper but can’t go wrong with either (they are very redundant). Might revisit again after I let it macerate for a month+. Also… where is the coffee? Hardly any.

NicoWasHere

When I first got this just smelling the nozzle before even spraying it I got huge Jazz Club vibes (yes Jazz Club and NOT Coffee Break) and had to smell side by side to confirm BUT on skin it is very clearly totally different. After the first couple sprays it no longer has any similarities off the nozzle.

On skin I get a really cozy warm and sweet coffee from this first couple sprays on my hand. I opted for this over the OG as many people have said having both is redundant and so far I am not disappointed. I would say this comes across really smack dab in the middle of unisex if not a tinyyyyy bit feminine leaning mostly because of the sweetness and not as much spice as I expected. I feel like anyone could rock this though but I was personally wanting a little more spice. Into the dry down it does align solidly in the middle of unisex as the sweetness fades a bit.

Performance is REALLY great overall and not something I become anosmic to which is a bonus, have a few strong performers in my collection that I go noseblind to almost immediately which is a bummer but not the case with Qahwa!

I cannot comment on this vs the OG but on it's own if you wanted something warm and cozy for the winter months I don't think you can go wrong with this. Is it super unique or daring? In my opinion no, but because of that I think it is a pretty safe blind buy especially if you get snow where you live.

Edit: overtime it leans feminine to me and ends up just sweet with a hint of vanilla. Nothing boozy or spicy to me, maybe I need to let the bottle “macerate” 🤷🏻♂️

fridaymood

This scent reminds me of opening a new bag of flavored coffee beans. The coffee note is deep, sweet, and smooth, and does not lean bitter in any way. I was disappointed that the top notes did not come through on my skin. I was really hoping for something a little warmer, spicier, and more complex for this to be a love. I have a feeling this will be fantastic for layering and I'm looking forward to wearing this scent this winter.

Fuder95

Boiz I just got it, beast mode ✊ very great coffee scent and great great great scent if you don’t do the same mistake that I did, I’ve sprayed like 12 times, and it’s a horrible mistake I felt dizzy… 4 sprays maximum and you’re good to go !!

PickledVibes

1. The coffee note is powerful and pronounced, so ignore the reviewers who are all like 'blah blah blah, not enough coffee'

2. Brutally long lasting. It will outlast a nuclear winter or zombie apocalypse.

3. Worst bottle cap in the history of fasteners and bottles. But not a real factor. Just annoying.

4. Did I mention it's brutally long-lasting?

5. A pleasant departure from the original, but perhaps not enough to warrant a 'must buy' if you've already got the OG.

Fuder95

I've ordered one for a great price 25$ must receive it tomorrow, i had issues with the performance when i got my hands on the OG i guess reformulation was made, so i sold it, and now im buying this one, with a hope that these are still all the first batches since the release and should have a good performance with respect to the next thousands and reformulations that will be going as usually companies do, and after reading the comments i have no problem if its similar to the OG, i didnt have the chance to have a good batch with good performance, so I would be so appreciated if its still in the same field with a better performance, finger crossed 🤞

bittersweetpoison

Very similar to Magenta Tanzanite from Armani Prive at a quarter of the price - they layer together beautifully! These two together are my jam this winter. I love the original Khamrah and this one has its DNA, but I don’t think it’s as creamy and sweet in the dry down. I get the coffee once it settles down and the cardamom, and this one lasts longer on me than the original. It’s a beautiful sweet and spicy coffee, but the coffee is very subtle contrary to its name, so I understand why people are disappointed…Personally, I like it, a lot! It’s refined and mature for the price tag.

VanillaaManiaa

Purchased this instead of another bottle of Khamrah (which I love btw) and I think I may love this even more than the original!
They have changed the lid also just fyi.
Qahwa is a sweet, cardamom coffee with ginger sugar cubes, it keeps the dna of the og but is different enough, and elevated with the spices and coffee. It’s smooth and delectable with a bit of fresh spicy from the ginger - a compliment getter and another that’s great for layering.
Projection and longevity are great, unisex but sweet, the coffee here is light - almost a milky, sweet cardamom latte rather than dark roasted coffee beans.
I get a lot of vanilla and benzoin in the drydown, love it and will always have both versions in my collection. Although the bottles could be deemed as lifted from Angel’s Share whiskey tumbler idea, Khamrah and Qahwa are stand alone scents and deserve praise in their own right.
I’m excited to see what lattafa do next with this line,
I’d love to see a spiced plum or Hazelnut version, or a caramel banana profile as I love to wear original Khamrah og in the heat.
Some of the price gouging on this is ridiculous, I’ve seen it for £80 and £130 (come on man- that’s what I just paid for Tom Ford Soleil de fue!) I paid £60 as I knew I would love it and Lattafa’s always perform for me. I think in the grand scheme of fragrance prices £60 is top end acceptable for a 100ml Lattafa, yes we all love a £20-30 bottle but if the scent is beautiful and good quality I don’t really see what the problem is - a lot of generic, mass appeal designer frags are literally £100 for 50ml.
Overall a lovely addition to the line up, have been reaching for this a lot

joshuabrian

To me, it smells like Halloween Man X had a baby with Pure Havane. Great longevity, great price, great release.

HMY

I am big fan of Khamrah, its one of my top 5 signature scents. When I heard that Khamrah has new version with coffee in it, I was over the moon. Unfortunately, I cannot smell any coffee on my skin :( the scent profile is very similar but I would say that Qahwa is more unisex due to cardamom, its darker and has more depth. Khamrah is vanilla apple pie while Qahwa is cardamom spice liquor.
Do I regret to have both in my collection? Nope, but I am still on defense which one I will purchase as back up bottle. Khamrah wins for now due to price. While Qahwa sells for 60 eur+, Khamrah can be purchased for 30 eur.

MareaCamacho

This one has the OGs DNA but moving further away from "apple pie" territory.

I get this really nice coffee note.

PhilipMtl

Khamrah Qahwah is a wonderful, cosy and luxurious feeling fragrance. Unfortunately I don't smell coffee in it and the scent is a bit linear. Excellent presentation; I feel it will get stronger as it macerates. When you wear Qahwah it will make you feel comfy and confident :)

Eaudegrace

Impressed with my first Lattafa purchase! Khamrah, their flagship product, boasts a stunning bottle design. Now, onto the fragrance – it's a beautiful, not overly sweet scent, featuring a delightful mocha-chocolate creaminess with a touch of warmth, making it ideal for colder weather. Some may find it a bit sweet, especially if sensitive to such scents. Picture a subtle blend of burnt milk, coffee, milky sweetness, vanilla, and hints of cardamom and cinnamon. The packaging is a bonus, but be cautious when handling the box – the bottom tends to slide off. Avoid storing it in the box unless you're careful.

joshuacs

The ginger and cardamom come through so beautifully on my skin! It reminds me of my mom's tea, and how she always forgets to check if the milk boiled over. The bottle and presentation are *chefs kiss* This scent makes me wanna get all cozied up. Super yummy! - 8/10

Edit: Did have to give this one away. It's a little too strong and ends up drying my throat out. Not the end of the world, but make sure you like the original before you buy!

Face

Great flanker. It's less boozy than original with a very subtle hint of sweetened coffee (like a caramel macchiato)

Still a great performer, easily get a solid +8hrs out of it. Overall do you NEED this if you own the original? No. Should you get this version over the original? Yes. 9.5/10

LegitReviewzz

disappointingly close to the og not worth the current price either very disappointed

Karso2011

This is an absolute STUNNER!!! The notes of cardamom and ginger in the top and coffee in the bottom just leveled up the OG masterpiece and I love this one even more!!! There is an obvious similarity, however this Qawha has a creamier depth and that is not in Khamrah!!! I cannot wait until this matures!!!

Juanpa Diaz

OG khamrah DNA, but with a beautiful twist to a coffee note, great stuff. Great price, totally worth it.

eyeman

Got this one in today. As a lover of the original Khamrah, when I heard "Khamrah plus coffee", I was stoked! Especially since I don't have any coffee-heavy fragrances in my collection, I figured it'd be a safe bet.

It's nice. It's... Khamrah. Just Khamrah with a hint of something else that you can't quite put your finger on... I want to give it the benefit of the doubt and let it sit for some time in the hopes that something resembling coffee will appear, but as a first impression: it's just Khamrah all over again.

SimplDude

🤩 Wow!

I had the original Angel Share which I sold then I settled for Khamrah just for my collection since this type of scent profile is a “like” for me. But after I watched and read some reviews, suddenly I became curious. I bought this at a very reasonable price and I was wowed by its performance and scent profile🤩 This is a big “love” ❤️ for me, better than the OG and Khamrah.

I could see why most folks find this very similar to Khamra as if there’s no difference at all but for me, that subtle coffee note peeping like a friendly ghost in the background was simply gorgeous. To each his own 😉 try before you buy.

10/10 according to my nose 👃

ugh this is my last blind buy for a while. I just got mine in from the oud store. the anticipation was even higher because it was supposed to arrive Saturday but got delayed- finally came today, Monday
I just sprayed it on clean shower-fresh skin but TBH its sooo close to the original??? like what?? I can smell light coffee and maybe light cardamom, but to be completely honest I am kinda bummed I rushed to spend $70 on this and I really wish I would have waited for price to come down. I keep smelling my wrist expecting something different but its just so close to the original, I cant believe this. I wanted a stronger coffee note, like.....much stronger
I was hoping to like it so much to even buy a backup bottle but thats definitely not happening now. pretty disappointed. I really really wanted to love this one & was so excited for it.......

This dries down to the OG Khamrah with barely a hint of the coffee note, which fades away fairly quickly. It's very disappointing because the coffee note is deep, dark, sweet and gorgeous. I'm going to let mine sit for a while to see if the coffee note develops some more because Khamrah got better as it got older. For now, and this may change, you don't need Qahwa if you have Khamrah.

In Dubai you can find it for 15 to 20 $ 🤯

Just ordered this on fragbuy.ca for $36 USD, really excited to see if this lives up to the building hype around it. Will update

I just got this from The Oud Store. They're a little more pricey than what I'd expect but with a discount code it was worth it for me. So I got in a full day's wearing of Khamrah Qahwa (Coffee) in the nice cool Midwest autumn air. This is a brilliant mix of the Gissah Sava/Angel's Share type fragrance but with a nice pronounced coffee note at the base. So, I would usually layer OG Khamrah with a coffee fragrance and coffee based deodorant from KAFX before this came out. I layered using(at different times not at once)Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo, Uomo Signature, Galleria Cognac Cafe, and Kerosene Followed.

*Don't mix Kerosene Followed with anything just an FYI. The stuff never I mean NEVER washes off.*

Khamrah Qahwa! This is a very welcome flanker for me in the Khamrah line. It smells just like Khamrah off the initial rip and always in the background has a good bitter coffee note. The dry down is the same as OG Khamrah but again, with the very present coffee note hovering in the background adding more complexity and sexiness to an already great fragrance. I'm glad Lattafa saw the obvious progression for the Khamrah line here and they executed perfectly. I get 12 solid hours off my skin. I can still smell it on my jacket 16 hours later from 10 ft away. So it's a beast. If you enjoy this type of fragrance DNA you will want to get a bottle.

@Ornio, the cap is meant to be twisted off, not pulled off. No way I'm paying $70. If the price becomes reasonable I may try.

Ornio

If Lattafa doesn’t fix the issues with the bottles(the collars around the atomizer would separate and get stuck in the cap) then they deserve to fail as a company’s

I can say this is a blind-bought success! (Bought this for only $27) I thought I could not like this dna, very delicious sweet coffee scent. If you don't like sweet gourmand scents, ignore this one. The opening is very good, it has the og dna but then when it dries down, the creamy sweet coffee/vanilla with floral background is so smooth and sexy. Perfect for cold/night situations. For it's price, you can't go wrong. Worth it at least for me. This will be my Christmas/Holiday scent! Very well done Lattafa.

I was very lucky to get my hands on this very early. The initial spray has a strong coffee scent with little to no vanilla, after 20 minutes it dries down beautifully into a deliciously sweet gourmand scent. The main notes I'm picking up are coffee (obviously), vanilla, tonka bean, and an incredibly subtle white floral giving it some depth. I really like this fragrance, for some reason reminds me of initio side effect without the rum factor. I'll update on longevity, but so far (2 hours) it's still projecting. 7.3/10 scent
