Dolce Passione Pantheon Roma for women and men

As much as I wanted to like this, I just can't. Instead of a nice gourmand rich chocolate it comes across like cheap Easter candy chocolate to my nose. The scent is unique, but I can't pull it off and I just don't like it in general.

A rich warm chocolate scent that literally smells like red fruits dipped in dark chocolate. the longer it stays on the skin the more beautiful it gets.

It is amazing, one of my favourite chocolate based scents. The most expensive smelling chocolate from my collection actually. It is rich chocolate truffle, with hints of pleasant plum and apple pie on the side. Very fullbodied. Plus saffron gives it just the right amount of sophistication, without being to overwhelmimg. Not completely foodie scent, it's just the best of both worlds (gourmand and perfume). No unpleasant notes. Performance is top tier.

This perfume smells so synthetic and nauseating. It smells like the fake chocolate smell they pump at the M&M store in Time Square with a plasticky strawberry note that is just as offensive. I love gourmand fragrances, but I am not a fan of this one. Not a safe blind buy.

Dolce Passione started out as a very strong chocolate scent, but to me it was an almost cold chocolate smell, like chilled chocolate pudding. It was not a sweet chocolate smell and had a touch of sourness to it. The rich chocolate smell quickly lost what sweetness it had and turned into a chalky baking chocolate scent, with some vanilla and a dark berry scent that I think I'd the plum. I didn't get strawberry. The truffle adds a little earthiness and the plum and strawberry smell like jammy dessert filling, making this a gourmand dessert scent like chocolate pudding with a dark berry sauce. It's interesting, not as smooth or well blended as other truffle scents I've tried like TF Black Orchid or Valentina. I'm glad I got a sample to try first because I almost blind bought since it has all the notes I love in my favorite scents (and I've had really good luck lately with a couple blind buys so I had a false sense of security). The notes didn't blend well on me and turned into a strong chalky, unsweet chocolate honey scent that kept getting larger and larger. It got to be too strong, pungent in a strange way. It's an unusual and interesting fragrance unlike anything I've tried before but too strong for me. Try before you buy.

To my nose, it is giving more "sweet spicy rose" than "sexy chocolate strawberry". It is pretty, but quite perfumey. I don't know if I would be able to recognize it in public, it is just kind of... nondescript. Beautiful- but not for me.

I absolutely loved this scent, literal heaven in a bottle but the price point kills me. Sad to say this but I had to give up on this one. However, I shifted to a much affordable dupe of this from DUA Fragrances known as 'Passionately Dolce'. It is so beautiful, smells so sexy, I just love it and the projection is amazing, lasts the entire day. Must must try!

I'm not a gourmand person and this scent was given to me as a gift but fortunately, I really liked it. It's classy, dark and love how the little cherry note give it a kick. I remember the first time I wore this fragrance going to a bakery and one lady just came to me just to ask me what I'm wearing. I mean I, felt pretty nice, not going to lie. But one thing that's a turn off for me is, it's too pricey and hard to find.

Dolce Passione is an interesting, almost boozy dark chocolate fragrance. It reminds me of dark chocolate covered plums. The dry down is earthy and not as sweet as the initial few hours, and the truffle note in here reminds me of the truffle note in Tom Ford's Black Orchid (no, they don't smell alike, but I knew I smelled that truffle somewhere before). It's the truffle that tempers the sweetness and elevates Dolce Passione into elegant niche territory. It's quite delicious. I may be a chocoholic but this isn't a need for me personally.

A lovely sweet faint chocolate with a subtle strawberry note.
Nice and simple however it vanished almost immediately on my wrist. For the price tag I expected more. I like it however the quest for a chocolate scent forges on.

A beast of dark chocolate. The honey and vanilla give it a great gourmand warmth. I normally hate chocolate scents as they often scoot into powdery drink mix territory. This is the the one.

This one is really good chocolate fragrance. Very similar to Chocolate Queen, you don't need both for sure. They are not identical, but very clolse

What a beautiful linear chocolate dominant scent.

I detect the plum right away, it's balanced out with the honey and tonka bean.

This is well blended, there's a hint of strawberry, it's a gourmand lover's dream. I wouldn't go so far as to say this is 'realistic', Velvet Chocolate is the most realistic chocolate in my collection. This however is a desert instead of 'just chocolate'.

The projection fills a room when sprayed, it lingers for hours. To me, this is a cold weather fragrance as in 60F/15.5C and below.
The longevity is easily 12 hours, 2 hours before it dies down into a skin scent. It lasts forever on clothing.

For some reason, I think this fragrance would be great for an elementary school teacher from Oct - Feb.
For Westerners, it's common, familiar, friendly, cozy, and relaxing.
This would be the perfect fragrance for a teenager & will easily hold up all day.

I find this to be the ultimate informal fragrance. I like this a lot.

Baby when I tell you, the way I just laid my head in my bosoms after spraying this and continuously inhaled THEE MOST INTOXICATING CHOCOLATEY GOODNESS!! I literally cannot stop smelling myself !! I get strawberry, chocolate, croissant goodness. It PROJECTS and LASTS!!!! MUST TRY/Buy!!

Be aware this chocolate is very very earthy! On me, the plum note destroyed it. I thought it will smell like a milk chocolate with strawberries but this smells like a 99% dark chocolate praline with a plum brandy. I did not get the strawberry and truffle.

Smells like Nutella on a croissant. Most gourmand perfume I've ever smelled. Lasts around 8-10hrs on my skin.

The only thing I would say is, this is the best most delicious chocolate perfume I have owned and I have owned a lot.

I sampled it before looking at the notes and my blind description was- chocolate, something nutty, and a red fruit. To me, the notes are pretty indicative of the scent. At first I might have guessed cherry but that fruitiness seemed to transform pretty quickly. I’m assuming the truffle and honey combined is what made me think of as nutty. Smells good to me on first impression, no feel for projection or lasting power yet

This made my stomach turn. It smells how chocolate scented pictures in those scratch and sniff books smells like. Even in the dry down it just doesn't smell authentic. Maybe its just me but every chocolate scent ive tried smells the same. It was a hard pass for me.

Less happy to say that this is definitely not something I will wear. It smells best straight out of the nozzle, much like mulled wine (glögg in Sweden) with traditional spices mix like an indecipherable concoction of cloves, dried plums or raisins, you get the deal. And with a dark and dry chocolate in the background.

Not horrible by any means but not at all what I am looking for in a gourmand, I'm more a sweet tooth.

This smells like the Chocolate in a Chocolate Croissant 🥐 to me. Even as not listed, I get a slight booze 🥃 accord and reminds me in ways of Gourmand Coquin. The dry-down is wonderful and elegant. Performance always seems to be a common issue with quality Chocolate scents. This is top-tier along w/Gourmand Coquin.

My favorite European chocolate scent so far. Rich, decadent dark chocolate. High quality perfume.

An amazing smelling fragrance providing a boozy intoxicating chocolate top note mellowing slowly more into a sweeter chocolate smell carrying a nice healthy amount of truffle with it giving it that depth it’s so lovable for and providing a sticky warm sweetness like honey a perfect fragrance if you love chocolate and definitely a strong performer

On me, this is the best and most wearable chocolate fragrance. It opens with a big, sweet dose of chocolate and truffle, and I think "gorgeous, but I think I over-sprayed"! I give it a few minutes and the fun begins. Now I'm getting strawberry, some honey, a little tonka, and something a little smoky. I wait about 20 minutes and realize I'm floating in the coziest haze of warm, sweet musky love. Do not judge this too quickly. You need to sit with it awhile to really appreciate the mastery of the blend. But don't overspray - a little dab will do ya!

Lots of truffle in the opening, I like this better on a tester strip than my skin. Then goes to dark cholate w/ a sweet berry. Strawberry is in the notes but could be passable for cherry or raspberry. Its smells very edible. Gourmand lovers galore.

One of my favorites. It unlocked my childhood memories of the chocolate shop we had in my hometown long ago. It's my guilty pleasure to smell it, when I feel down. But to be honest, it is intimidating perfume for some people, it has extremely strong chocolaty notes, so I would recommend to not blindly buy it (most people said the chocolate is too overpowering and even headache inducing). Very specific, very rich and intense, yet you have to LOVE chocolate, to love this perfume.

This is an indulgent treat, a wonderful gourmand scent for the true chocolate lovers out there!!

I love this scent, it is a beautiful ode to chocolate and all of its facets: dark, semi-sweet, milk and everything in between. It has a hint of honey and something jammy. The notes say plum and strawberry but to me, it smells more like the jammy side of these fruits. There is also something cozy and comfy during the dry down. I am sure the musks have something to do with it.

All in all, a beautiful blend, a wonderful concoction of chocolate-y sweetness and a complete indulgence to wear around the colder months of the year ❄️🍓🍫🤍

After a long dryspell, a perfume has finally really flashed me again. Yes, this fragrance is a dream! For the first five minutes, it smells like dark chocolate mice filled with pink icing. But the pink icing very quickly turns into fresh strawberries. It is a grown-up, sexy gourmand for the elegant woman. I couldn't wait until winter and even applied it sparingly in summer. I would scream the name of this fragrance from the mountaintops, it's so good.

Semi sweet dark nutty chocolate. Very realistic chocolate.
After some time it smells richer, deeper, a little bit vintage and very luxurious.
I definitely smell vanilla, honey and little bit of truffles.
- On me after 1h smells sweet vanilla, honey and choco with strawberry. Chocolate is not so dominant, as it was from the start.
- After 7h close to skin, chocolate vanilla and plum.
Thats, in my opinion, how people with really good taste would smell. Very artistic and not basic.

I normally hate the note of chocolate in fragrances because it usually comes across as synthetic. This smells more natural to me, with bitter chocolate and strawberry notes. A bit drier than I was envisioning but not powdery. A lovely blind buy success.

One spray does it for this one! I really like it...it's rich, sweet, and dark. Something about this at initial spray reminds me of Amouage Sunshine--I guess they both share a similar nutty/spicy/honey theme in their top & middle notes... But Dolce Passione definitely settles into a chocolaty, fruity expensive smelling scent. I look forward to trying this one in the winter to see how it develops. For now, it seems a bit too thick and rich for summer months. If I remember, I will update my thoughts on this one later.

Milk chocolate Easter eggs.

Dolce Passione is an excellent gourmand that triggers the taste of black forest cake in my mouth. A chocolate scent done right, it is both elegant & realistic.

The chocolate is darkened by truffles, sweetened with red fruits and vanilla, and tempered by purple florals. The smell is sweet without being sugary, and has both darkness & depth to the point I would consider it an interesting hybrid between Gothic & dessert.

The performance is good, with half-day longevity and moderate projection on me.

I think this is a sexy gourmand that would work on any gender...surely a good choice for an intimate night spent indoors.

I love going to the spa and exfoliating getting a body wrap , they let you choose between straw berrys , chocolate , grape .

And so I either pick strawberry or chocolate .
Once they wash the wrap off this scent lasts s week on your skin ,
But it starts to fade .

This scent is so good it makes me feel like that , love to exfoliate at home and Appy this with a strawberry body cream . Perfect mix ❤️

Make no mistake, this is a gourmand - luscious creamy mocha latte filled wafers baked to perfection. It is the pomp and sweetness, the bombast and warmth of ..well...love.

The salesperson tells me that this brand is telling us a love story between an artist and a baker. I believe him... my my my...

An absolutely delectable fragrance! The dark chocolate with the added fruits smells so rich and delicious! Although it is chocolatey and fruity, I wouldn't say that this is extremely sweet, even though I would say that it is a gourmand. I love the it just lingers around, and its a pretty strong scent. Would definitely recommend for chocolate lovers!

My new fave! The chocolate mixed with the spice and i kinda smell a little bit of lactonic and also a bit of rum.. just amazing! I used to love vanille fatale by tom ford but THIS. This has swept me off my feet.

-Dolce Passione is a scent I can't picture anyone else, but an individual clad in multiple heavy gold chains and a deep V neck wearing.

✍از خوبیهای این عطر ، حد متعادل شیرینی آن است ، شروع تلخ و وجه خاکی کاکائو و کاهش پله پله این تلخی و همچنین حضور بسیار نامحسوس توت فرنگی و آلو سیاه که ترشیِ ناچیزی را در میدل ایجاد میکند ، مانع از رسیدن این عطر به یک عطر شیرین و چسبنده و افراطی خواهد بود. گرچه این عطر در دسته عطرهای شیرین طبقه بندی میشود ولی حتی نام این عطر دلچه = ملایم و شیرین نشان از روند دلپذیر بودن شیرینیش دارد.
❓معایب این عطر
✍برای کسانیکه مایل نیستند عطر تقریبا "خطی" از شکلات داشته باشند و به عطرهای آفتاب پرست گون ( با فرازو نشیب واضح و بیشتر) علاقمند هستند.
برای کسانیکه عطری برای اماکن عمومی لازم دارند ، گزینه مناسبی نمیباشد. نه به جهت بدبو بودن رایحه برای دیگران ، برعکس ، به جهت محرک بودن و خوردنی بودن .
❓قیمت و ارزش خرید
✍عطری به ارزش ۲۶۰ دلار و حدودا نه میلیون تومان. یکی از شاهکارترین عطرهای گورماند که واقعا ارزش ۲۶۰ دلار راهم دارد و خبر خوب اینکه در ایران به لطف مهجور بودن این برند و هایپ نشدن با قیمت باورنکردنی حدود سه میلیون تومان ( بهمن ۹۹) میتوانید تهیه کنید.

Dark chocolate lava cake. One of a very few chocolate fragrances that smell REALISTIC, sophisticated and expensive. Love that real, dark, boozy cacao note. Perfect for colder weather!

An absolutely amazing, sophisticated, grown-up gourmand! The ingredients seem to be of super high quality, as it smells very natural, it is long lasting and with generous sillage. It envelops you in a cloud of dark chocolate, truffle and strawberry liqueur. Scrumptious but not exactly edible. It also has a woody note to ground it and thus I think it can be worn by gents as well. Pink Truffle by Panah is very similar in quality and smell but it's more "white" and fruity whereas Dolce Passione is "darker" and woodier. Excellent perfume.

-Opens with a blast of cocoa powder, reminiscent of Montale- Chocolate Greedy.
-Morphs into a loud, screechy mess that screams "fuccboi".
-Can be nauseating when worn in hot, humid weather.
-Would not wear this. Not fbw. (-)

I LOVE the rich chocolate scent in the opening! However, upon dry down, some kind of bitter ammonia scent comes out. Very sad as this would have been beautiful otherwise.

Best gourmand fragrance in my collection hands down.

I wear it in any type of weather because it's fantastic and not heavy or cloying.

Wore it yesterday morning on my polo t-shirt.
Wore it the whole day and washed it by hand and after taking the clothes in today afternoon from the line.... The polo still has most of the original fragrance.

Incredible perfume if you like sparkling sweet gourmands. One of my favorites.

An excellent dark chocolate and hazelnut fragrance with a hint of strawberry?.... HOWEVER, there is also a very prominent earthy truffle scent which reminds me of the smell of blood which in my opinion detracts from the scent. Not keen on this for myself but it is well made and I can see how some people would really enjoy this!

This is an interesting gourmand for people who are normally not into gourmands. The opening is very cool, but then it dries down to fairly standard vanilla & tonka. If only the opening lasted longer, I'd be all over this scent.
What is it that I find so intriguing about the opening? First of all, a very realistic reproduction of the smell of truffle. If you've ever had a chance to eat actual truffles, it's a very memorable experience, either in a positive or negative way, depending on your tastes! Truffles smell rather sharp and musky, but not unpleasant. Aside from that, I can also detect some chocolatey smell and wild honey. Unfortunately, this funky combo doesn't last beyond 30 minutes, and what we're then left with is the ubiquitous sugary vanilla that's found in gazillions of scents nowadays. Too bad.

I got this one from Harrods a few days ago and I love this fragrance so so much!
There is only two stockists in London: Harrods and Fortnum&Mason.
I went to both but bought it from Harrods because they have a Harrods exclusive which I wanted to try before deciding on Dolce Passione.
This is the best gourmand chocolate fragrance I have ever tried.
It's a nutty chocolaty scent that's not too sweet. I don't get the truffle straight up but I think it's what balances out the sweetness.
Honestly, I love this scent so much it's hard to describe it.
It's not a creamy milky chocolate. Rather leaning to the dark and nutty side.
It says it has plums and strawberry but I don't get those notes.
I can however, get a very slight sense of floral vibe on the dry down but it still keeps the chocolate.
The longevity is amazing - I can still smell it on my coat when I last tried it on at the store which was more than 3 days ago.
The sillage is also quite good considering I could get a waft of it throughout the day and my friend also complimented me on how I smell.
If you love chocolate scents and if you live for a good gourmand, do try this one. You will not regret it!

The chocolate dolce we tasted while living in southern Italy were often rich and elaborately constructed, but with little sugar. There was often an unexpected note of fruit, nuts or luscious spirits. Dolce Passione stands true to this aesthetic.

It opens with the lush beauty of something gorgeous to eat and laced with a familiar locally made Italian liquored note like rummy licorice or hazelnut; before settling into a plummy softness unlike any fragrance I have found so far. Masterfully blended, the notes reveal themselves unhurried over time in creamy waves rather than full chocolate assault. Throughout the background of this confection is a thick rich line of Italian Chocolate lacing throughout the middle notes and into dry down. Somewhere in the background, an espresso note is being pressed. Did I mention that the best part is that Dolce Passione lasts?

It is transportive fragrance. Dolce Passione lingers light close to the skin hours after the initial spray dropping finally into a warm earthy something that must be the black truffle or tonka bean. Absolutely love this, super syrupy rich thick gourmand, with just enough fruit to take the edge off the sugar rush with tartness. Gourmand lover's dream.

Chocolate truffle with a bit of sweetness. Sillage and projection not that great, but probably this is best. Gourmand for sure.

The chocolate in this one is beautiful - creamy chocolate, not bitter cacao, especially in the opening. That chocolate is quickly joined by a fistful of honeyed sweetness. On paper the powderiness from the musk comes out, and it's very pleasant, with just the right amount of fruity sweetness. On my skin, however, it goes nuclear -- supersweet honeyed strawberries dipped in glorious chocolate beside a nice vanilla candle. Beautiful, but heady and cloying, and almost unwearable for me. It's more tolerable on clothes, but still beastly. Great for gourmand lovers who like beast frags.

So I got really blessed with a sample of this fragrance by a wonderful lady here when we exchanged fragrances and oh boy am I glad she warned me about how freaking strong this thing is, it’s a beats for the strength and longevity, it’s been almost 24 hours and I still feel like I have it on my wrist. And I just dabbed once on my wrist. I can’t imagine spraying it, it will suffocate whole house. Seriously!
So the scent is nice and chocolatey but I can smell in the background note that smells like ammonia and I’m not kidding, it doesn’t disappear fully, it’s always there. I’m glad I had a chance to test it and I won’t be getting a bottle of this.

For all you lovers of gourmand, I say, YES, YES, YES, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm heaven. Chocolate and roasted hazelnuts wrapped in a harmonious perfume. Beautiful the whole way. It will become one of your favorites. If you balk at the price.... stop buying the cheapies for a while - however long it takes - and save for this one. Along with Gourmand Coquin by Guerlain, and Lubin’s Upper 10, you will not need much else. Oh except the equally delicious Trastevere in the same Pantheon range but that’s not a chocolate, more like pastries and fillings.

WOw a truly chocolate fragrance right here. Very sweet and seductive that wont give you headache. Long lasting too. Im a gourmand lover. This one by far my number one in my list. I have smelled many chocolate fragrance out there but this one is special to me. Definitely unisex. I love when the vanilla lingers around on this fragrance and the vibe of sweetness is coming from strawberry. But i wish the price is right. But i do love this fragrance and its a full bottle worthy to me.

• First spray and opening is absolutely divine. Seductive! Surprisingly tasty as real dark chocolate dessert, as tonky shocolate, cocoa, as sweet chocolatery! So yummy!
• But be carefull buying it fast, try it since, because Dolce Passione became more flat and luscious after 3-4 hours.
• A little bit of safron and plums if you think of them, a little touch of honey, but as far fragrance became milky, creamy, truffel and tonka sweet.
• It's a bit pity, because of expecting longer those beautiful chocolate and cocoa notes.

Beautifully made simply a must have if you are a lover of chocolate themed fragrances , with swirls of honey it adds that nutty complex to it, not overly sweet and seems to project quite well and with hints of plum and vanilla on drydown it adds another dimension to this amazing scent . True love here

Grrrrrrrrrr! I want. But...not paying $250 on ebay for perfume and shipping it from Luxembourg totally sight unsmelled. I'm not quite that crazy.

This is amazing. I acquired it from a Profumeria in Italy that ships to most countries, got the advice from contacting Pantheon Parfums via their FB page.
The scent itself is beautiful. The opening is glorious roasted and fresh hazelnuts, that manage to feel ethereal and succulent whilst nutty and gourmand. A chocolate accord is appearing soon after, and at this stage Dolce Passione smells as good as Nutella tastes.
Progressively I get honey, saffron, maybe a tiny hint of dried plum. The base is very niche smelling, as another reviewer mentions very accurately. This last stage does remind me of another perfume, but I cannot recall exactly which one. It is a very well balanced gourmand, and the silage and longevity are very good, but in no way monstrous like other powerhouses. The box is beautiful red satiny check design, and contains lovely pictured leaflets with interesting information in it. The bottle is not to my taste I'm afraid, feels very basic (if not cheap) to be costing this much. I have owned Viktoria Minya's Hedonist and I am spoilt for bottles:)

ok I finally got my hands on a bottle. It is nice. I get real chocolate up front with deep fruit I guess plum. I get that niche smell in the base probably some iso but it is not over powering. It is interesting and unique. Sillage not huge but not skin scent either. I get that nutty earthy thing too which has got to be the truffle. I hardly smell saffron or strawberry.

OH MY GOD.... this fragrance is just the best gourmand fragrance i have witnessed till this day! it is first lunched in Esxence 2016 and will be released in May 2016, The whole line of house is a bout a story of lovers, a famous love story in Italy as far as i know and this last fragrance is the end of that love story and the end of this line.

It has chocolate with hazelnut and coffee, soft and tender, and calm and fizzy. This will be one of my favorites. a HUGE thanx to the gentleman who was in their booth who gave me the samples of their whole set. Thank you allot.
