I still can’t quite decide if I like this. I tend to generally like more natural osmanthus/apricot/peachy scents and this is a screechy, more medicinally herbal sort of peach. Definitely bitter and dry to me, alcoholic and perhaps a little bit more masculine leaning…. It is oddly sweet without having the hallmarks of the sweet gourmands I do like.
Ultimately, it’s yet another synthetic and abrasive fragrance from TF. If you like some of his other offerings and like more screechy scents definitely give this a try.

When you read the description it's a fragrance that doesn't seem to be firmly feminine but when you smell it, it is. Maybe it's just me.

I’ve been exploring the world of strange and unusual fragrances since 2009. I’m familiar with the term scrubber and always thought it was an exaggeration, having never been so offended by a juice as to physically remove it.
Until Tom Ford’s bitter peach. I cannot explain how nauseating this is. It’s not sweet but it’s too sweet, it’s not fruity but it’s too fruity. It’s too much without being really anything?
And after soaping off my arm I still smell the nauseating part of it.
Abhorrent.

A peach, citrusly, woody, rich, playful, youthful, juvenile, unforgivable fragrance that was beautifully blended. This is unisex but aiming more on the feminine side. You have to be a confident man to pull this off & you have to dress appropriate to be noticed wearing this. This fragrance is a crowd pleaser, an attention grabber & a panty dropper.
The longevity is good. But I normally layer my cologne with essential oils that are inspired by the fragrance itself to get the performance that I truly desire without having to keep overspraying myself to get that scent trail I like leaving behind.
I would only wear this for.
1)Spring/Summer.
2)Fun filled outdoors activities.
3)Dressing casual (Jean jacket, Fedora straw hat, & Hawaiian shirt)
4)Running errands.
5)Hanging with women (Girly girls not tom boyish one's)
6)Daytime.
7)Trying to be noticed.
I wouldn't necessarily reach for this.
1)1st impressions.
2)Going on a date.
3)Clubbing/Partying atmosphere.
4)Hanging with the fellas.
5)Dressing down, sporty, or sophisticated.
6)Nights/Evenings.
7)Fall/Winter.
8)Attending a formal event.
9)Outdoor activities like fishing, hiking & etc.

I recently bought the 10ml version of this fragrance from a TF counter and first of all, I think the packaging looks adorable and I like the magnetic cap! Super easy to take in an everyday bag or travel with.
The top notes can be a bit overwhelming but the dry down is absolutely beautiful and I’ve noticed that it does not become a skin scent and the projection is quite long lasting. people around me could still smell it on me after 6+ hours.
This is a beautiful spring and summer scent and layering it with Jo Malone Nectarine blossom & honey would be a winning combination if you would like to make it more “fresh” and less “bitter” especially if you are planning on wearing this for day time in the heat.
I will definitely be purchasing this in a 50ml size when I finish my 10ml and I think that it is definitely signature scent worthy for those who like peach scents.
I don’t think it’s unisex, it leans more on the feminine side however it could lean more masculine if combined with TF Tuscan leather, oud wood and Tobbaco Vanille.

for the love of god. do not blind buy it.

The peach is almost non existent. It faded away within an hour. I'm not as crazy about this as I thought I'd be. It's just ok. Thank goodness for samples.

I love this so much but as a guy, i can't wear this :(
fpsshellboy
i dont understand the negative reviews, its a really masculine, peachy (of course) and boozy fragrance, almost like a peach alcoholic drink, its simply amazing and unique
heartbeam
Personally find this too boozy, sharp, and masculine. I feel like I could like this on someone else. I've yet to find a TF fragrance that I like so maybe I'm simply not the target audience of this perfume house. Not very palatable and not safe for blind buying, which goes for all TF scents to be honest.
Saboba
I had the chance to test this yesterday and I have to say, like most TF scents, this is quite overrated. I thought I´d like it because of the alcohol notes and that it would have some complexity. But all I got was an unpleasant medicinal, apricot smell.
shohruhnorqulov08
Good smell. But this is not surprising. I think this is a simple perfume, not worth the money. It reminds me of peach extract shampoo and peach gum.

morose
Straight vape juice smell but in a good way
rose_nymph
Tested this at Sephora... This may be biased because I did not allow it to dry down, but goodness god, the initial spray is like someone screaming in your face. You almost want to choke. I will have to give this another try sometime, but this is whiplash. Pelting someone with synthetic peaches.
alialiok906
I'm thoroughly enjoying this scent—I could easily say this wonderful creation is just... peachy! It's a delightful boozy peach fragrance with decent projection (although I still need to test its longevity), and I'm saying this as a man! While it leans slightly feminine, I'd absolutely wear it myself. It exudes an autumn, winter, spring vibe, suitable for both day and night, but perhaps not the best choice for scorching heat.
mypersonalharmonics
Oh my! I like this one. I am all about 90's perfumery and I am astonished that nobody mentions that this seems to pay tribute to Peach-Citrus-Vanilla-Sandalwood compositions, discontinued and reformulated gems of that decade. I mean Venezia by Laura Biagiotti, Tuscany per Donna by Aramis, something ELSE that I KNOW but cannot identify. A slight Jungle Kenzo whiff in the drydown.
This one smells so familiar, in a cosy, comforting, memory awakening way. If you were a teenager back in the 90's, try it. Have no fear. It is not scary bitter, it is not strange, it is a fruitchouli in the best way possible and a velvet blanket that you totally know how to handle.
Ethan12345
Tom ford bitter peach is a nice calm fragrance. although some people might find the peach to either be sickening or overpowering i actually quite like it but the price is just too much
Andy224
Charming. Like a creamy peach drink. Versatile too. Personally think it smells more manly yet could be easily considered unisex.
SmegmaFactory
I'm actually really pleasantly surprised by this! I ordered it mostly out of curiosity, did not actually expect it to be truly unisex, I thought I would wear it once and give it to my mom or something. Initially its a very aggressive peach scent, other people said Nestle Ice Tea or Fanta, and I would agree, smells exactly like peach ice tea at first. It dries down very quickly tho and the peach becomes much more organic, it smells like peaches from my garden when they're ripe. When it settles I could clearly smell some jasmine and cognac but the sweetness of it never goes away. The smell doesn't project too far, its not aggressive or offensive to people around you but anyone talking to you will get a good whiff. Like most TF perfumes I tried so far it is very intimate and sexy. It doesn't last too long, I think about 6-ish hours or so. Stays a lot longer on clothes and remains very fruity and sweet on fabric. Because of all this I wouldn't really wear it for clubbing but its perfect for dates, house parties, brunch with friends etc..I think I will wear it a lot this summer, might even become my summer signature. Not that anyone asked but this is the first review I'm posting publicly.
OrangeGuy
Peach is very alive. VERY full of life. You mainly get sweetness and almost no cognac or rum note.
mr.biscuit
Bought a sample because I was curious and because the price tag on the bottle is just... impossible.
The reviews talk enough about the notes themselves. This is a very niche scent and let me say I have extremely mixed feelings about this. I can't get enough of it on a chilly evening. I find that this weather really softens out the sharpness of the notes and makes the overripe peach much more... enjoyable. I picture myself wearing this only on laidback occasions when I'm around close friends. I wouldn't wear this as a first impression out in public. Do not wear this on a warm day. You will smell rancid.
archerries
Smells exactly like Nestea's Peach Iced Tea.
maddieonline
Came back to this today after many many months and I can still confidently say this smells like vomit, projects like crazy and lasts even longer. Tom Ford make something palatable challenge (impossible)
RifleZz
Overpriced as hell (not anything new for Tom Ford as almost all if not all of his scents are really fucking overpriced except a few, looking at you Black Orchid and Noir Extreme and Ombre Leather)
But the scent itself is.....really cheap smelling, it smells like some cheap like dirt cheap hair mist or some cheap perfume for young girls which costs 3$. It seems to last quite long which is nice and it projected a bit in the first few hours. But again the scent is almost all peach which is medicinal, cheap smelling and gag reflex inducing to me.
I hate how in Tom Ford they try to make you think like you are buying a luxury product but the smell is bad, the bottle cap is bad (looking at you private blend), the atomisier is bad, the smell is bad and at the end the price is absoloutely ridicilous to the point where I start to question people who would buy this kind of product in 2024.
Tom Ford was maybe good back in the day but now they have destroyed their good scents and raised the prices.
RamasNewObsession
One of my favorites and I have to stop myself from using it everyday. The opening it definitely too overwhelming but once it settles down and dries on the skin it is mellows down to a nice peachy warm smell that is not too sweet. I had gotten a few compliments on it.

Synthetic peach.

Shop assistant at TF gave me a generous sample of this when I was buying Lost Cherry and at first it appeared to me quite generic. Few tries later - I’m hooked! The booziness, the blood orange note as well as peach are so warming and sweet in the best possible sense! I put it on me and it makes me happy instantly! Gosh, another expensive trip to TF! But I honestly just want to smell like this every day… this sample won’t last for much longer
AnastasiaGostieva
Extremely sweet scent with nice fruity and citrusy notes. It smells a bit like Fanta to me but with a sweeter base. It also has some kind of bubblegum accord (white floral notes?) and powdery (even almond-y) nuances. It’s actually quite nice, I like how they balanced all these gourmand notes, it’s just a bit too sweet for me.

I just got a bottle of this and I realized that people who say it’s more floral than peachy and it lasts half an hour are right. People who say it smells like boozy, peachy, fermented fruits that last all day are also right. Testing from a sample and from the bottle I just got, I experienced both. Guess which one is the bottle? Yeah, the disappointment. I guess there are various batches already and stuff so watch out.

Wearing it now - not a scent I'd expect a man to wear, frankly. This is to me decisively feminine. Of course, we can wear whatever - and I wore/wear decisively masculine scents, I mean, who cares? - but I was surprised at how feminine this is. I mention this just for the sake of objectivity, so one knows what to expect here.
After the initial blast of citrusy/cardamom-y delight, it smoothes out in the softest, most delicious fruity number. This peach ain't bitter at all on me: it's ripe, opulent and oh, so rich and classy. First TM that I happen to like this much! Well done, 10/10 for me.
Cocosette
Off-topic and probably unpopular opinion, but what's Estee Lauder's strategy? To go completely bankrupt by alienating most potential buyers or to portrait TF fragrances as the pinnacle of luxury? We will see. Take a look at Estee Lauder's stock in the NYSE and it may become clear that this is all part of their desperate attempt to turn to profit again.
I don't like complaining about perfume prices because artistry and expensive materials sometimes justify them, but, honestly, $615 retail for 100 ml of this is outrageous.
By the way, stop claiming Tom Ford is niche, it's not. It's as much as a designer as Dior, Channel or LV.
auriks03
i can see why it’s a polarizing scent.
first spray you get smacked with that sharp cardamom scent mixed with some peach and a citrus note. as someone who is of asian descent, that cardamom just reminds me of curry. not a huge fan of that note. it was giving mango curry but with peach.
after about 5 minutes i smell the peach and patchouli and this lingers for about 10 minutes. not a fan of patchouli.
the real magic of this is when that patchouli mellows out and the scent becomes a cognac/rum type of peach. it definitely gives me a surprisingly sweet peach Hennessy type of vibe. i can see how it’s a more grown-up type of fruity scent without smelling like a grandparent. if you’re like me who was expecting a bright peach type of scent, this isn’t it but it is a nice scent nonetheless. definitely warms up/sweetens better on your skin. i made the mistake of spraying it on my clothes and it took hours for the cardamom and patchouli notes to mellow out.
that being said don’t let the strong top note steer you away. try giving it a shot, it’s actually quite nice.

Oh this is pure bliss. Peachy, boozy. Delicious. This can be worn year round.
nathanpresc0ttt
Definitely the best peach fragrance out there. I've been wearing only this one since getting it. Sweet, juicy, citrusy opening leading to a woody vanilla on dry down. Not overly sweet but more like a bittersweet fruity scent I guess. Suitable for all seasons imo. Lasts like 10 days on clothes. I sprayed once on my neck more than a week ago & my shirt has been smelling like Bitter Peach since then.

WOW, Amazing Fragrance! Elegant, Classy, Luxurious, Fruity, Boozy, Airy, Complex and Unique. You can't go wrong with it, l fell in love with it at first sniff. Tom Ford Bitter Peach has Super High Quality Composition and Well-blended. I tried it in Sephora store after I bought it, It smells so good and very pleasant, This Perfume give me Positive Energy and good feelings. It opens up with fresh spicy , fruity , warm spices and boozy notes in the background then dry down is semi sweet warm spicy, Ambery and Woody. The balance between Sweet and Bitter notes is Fantastic, The Peach, Rum, Cognac, Patchouli and Vanilla notes are dominant in this Scent. I really enjoy it and I love it very much. Longevity is good.
Highly Recommended.

I sprayed this on my wrist at an airport and because I was sleep deprived and loopy I also sprayed "tobacco oud" on my palm and on the plane i ended up smelling like a cow had pooped out a peach. it was viscous. i felt so bad for everyone around me. I'm sure this is a great perfume but hey guess what don't combine it with tabacoo oud and then go sit in a middle seat in coach on American airlines. that's it that's my review.
aliyegore
Even though I don't like gourmand scents at all, I really like the feel and scent quality of this perfume. A real Tom Ford perfume that describes the sweet and burnt peach scent very well. I think it deserves to be considered in the niche category.
see2free
This literally just smells like its name, a bitter peach. It’s opening is a rather bold and vibrant peach with a subtle orange note, then it becomes slightly more complex as the woody and coconut nuts come through, turning into more of a warm spicy fragrance, yet still all that really hits me is peach.
I happen to love the smell of peaches at that so i’m rather enamoured over this perfume, for the sheer simplicity of the perfume i really don’t see how £290 is justifiable but hey it’s tom ford, i think that’s been established already, I could personally see myself splurging on this but i also see how others are rather shocked at how.
Goldena35
Bright realistic peach in the opening which pretty quickly dies down with the blood orange becoming just as (if not more) prominent. This is soft and powdery and dry on my skin with a kick of spicy wood. It is not sweet to my nose …actually just a hint of boozy sweetness. Surprised at the hate it gets because imo it’s nice. I get some cinnamon which is not listed. I was also surprised this didn’t include osmanthus because it has a bit of that fuzzy feel I get when that’s included. I will enjoy my sample but not a must own for me.
**UPDATE: I am quite a few hours in …longevity is decent. I had a dabber sample. Anyway this has taken an airy turn and lightened up. It’s still powdery but it’s become quite airy and clean. Interesting 🤔
iRankFragrances
Spicy opening, 10 minutes it's blood orange mixed with peach, then the drydown is completely peach with woods. The blend of blood orange and peach mixed with spices, wood, vanilla is perfect.
I forgot to add the middle notes are mainly boozy peach smells.

It's got a bit more complexity but tbh It's lost on those not putting their nose to the skin every 5 minutes. To those around you, the net effect is that of Gucci Rush..100%.
I wouldn't buy a bottle of this for that reason. In fact, Rush is smoother while this gave me a hedache.
iblamesaud
I really like it, its powdery peach not fresh but I still love it. I really don't get the hate its a good fragrance and a compliments puller
tessture
Not too sweet. Actually quite nice but it’s peach in the end and I don’t love peach. Less complex than the notes make it sound. Dries to an odd wood scent, like a stick of wood from the back yard, with a hit of cinnamon spiced peach juice. Nah.
Dmiddy
Great peachy top notes that turn into waxy, cheap-smelling coconut oil. Not worth the money.
Datura-Darling
The opening can be a bit harsh with this one, but give it a chance and let it settle. This one blooms as it warms up on the skin into the most scrumptious symphony of ripe and sticky peaches. This has the spices, patchouli and rum in the background, which grounds the sweetness a bit. However, it's still very sweet overall.
On myself, this one dries down into a syrupy and honeyed peach, with a soft vanilla and tonka in there. I cannot belive there isnt honey in the notes, as this is what i get a lot of in the dry down, or at least some golden nector along with the juice of the peach.
This lasts a very long time and the next day I can still smell it on my clothes. I also enjoy pairing this one with Prin's 'Burmite honey'. The two together really amplify the sticky honey facet of one another, and BH just dirties it up for me in the best way... adding an animalic and skany edge to BP. Heaven!
vibrant.girl
The spices are overwhelming at first, but after 15mins the peach & blood orange take over. For me, it’s juicy and rummy without being syrupy. Then the resins and vanilla warm up the drydown and it smells like having a rum cocktail with peach liqueur in a basement speakeasy. It’s not the most sophisticated scent, but it’s such a playful and sexy perfume - and peach is my favorite flavor of all time.
I bought Apricot Privee thinking “close enough” and at a better price… but it wears thin very quickly. I ultimately decided to declutter that one and picked this up for a steal on Mercari. The longevity of this is better for me as well.
ilonkailonka
Really unique and intriguing blend of peach and spices. At first it was a no, but I'm enjoying it more and more as it evolves on my skin. I think I might need to track down a sample, because it didn't convince me to buy a full bottle but definitely piqued my interest.
nickinicole
First thoughts: I wish the peach was a bit fresher in the opening. Not as bitter as the name would suggest, but a bit rotten (from the boozy note?)
A few hours later: I can't believe how it sweetened on the skin. Peach transformed into something much brighter. It's my husband's new favorite from the TF line.
I can't wait to wear it when it's a bit warmer. I think it'll really shine. My only complaint is that it's far too expensive to have such poor longevity.
jokcoy
I love the peach scent in it and with a bit of boozy scent it makes it really out front. Some might hate the boozy scent but I enjoy it so much. It has depth and really great for any occasion. The only downside is, it doesn't last very long. From all of TF private blends I've had, this is the least longevity. Not very short, but it kinda below my expectation. Rather safe for blind buy.
NadaKimari
I cannot understand how anyone could like this, it's so potent. It smells like a peach bathroom freshener. Honestly, I was expecting a creamy sweet peach at the price point. Instead, its aggressive screeching peach dunked in acid. Ew!
MarmaladeSkies
Honestly I adore it, it seems to last all day on me so whilst it is pricey you're getting what you pay for if you enjoy the fragrance.
Lidiah
I smelled the original. And it was okay at first but I couldn’t stop smelling it after I sprayed it on myself. Not sure if y’all into Dupes. But MIRIS Perfume has this and it smells identical.
sarahtew
I fell in love with this the first time I ever smelled it but couldnt justify the price. I got it as a gift a year ago and have been using it as sparingly as possible ever since but I adore it. It lasts a long time, especially on clothing, and I like that it's not too overtly peachy.
Marago24
Smells like cherry cough drops to me. Didn’t like it at all.
akha231
On occasion, in the summer, my mother makes a dessert with peaches, peach Jello, and Cool Whip. It's not a good recipe. The only saving grace is that she uses fresh peaches, which are tart enough to punch through a lot of sugar -- but this perfume is more like what you'd get with canned peaches. The opening was okay, with a drier floral feel, but after 20 minutes, syrupy "peach" had taken over, and it didn't change much thereafter. Where's the bitter?
f4iry
all i smell is patchouli :/
aeharris
Sour rotten peach in a trash can after a bbq cookout with flies buzzing around it. Just horrible!
scenturian
Bitter Peach is very fizzy, zesty and unconfined, a futuristic perfume which is completely different from the traditional perfumery.
There is nothing alike. Fun to wear, I simply call it a crazy perfume.
It is not fruity nor sweet. The peach note usage here is very unusual. If you are looking for a fruity perfume this is not it. And the shock is guaranteed if you are putting on your skin for the first time.
One of my fav from the Tom Ford Private Blend.
Easily lasts 24 hours with a strong projection.

This is stunning, this has become my absolute new favorite. It gives light sandlewood peachy fragrance once it get gets dry down. This is a bright lively fragrance. But sadly, the price is too much for me :(

I know this is one of those very polarizing perfumes and you either love it or hate it and unfortunately, it’s a hate from me. I get the peach, the booziness, and a very heavy dose of syrupy sugar for all of 5 minutes and then the patchouli kicks in and makes the other notes smell off. This eventually turns into a sour and sweaty mix and there is no coming back from it. Oh well!
MightyMouse98
I would love this one if the peach lasted longer.
Sprayed before work, and within the 30mins of driving to work, the peach was completely gone. I didn’t get any of the middle notes it seems, and went straight to a vanillary/cashmere “snuggling in a blanket” smell. Which, smelled lovely, but there’s cheaper vanilla scents out there if that’s all it’s going to become almost immediately after spraying it.
It’s not an overbearing sweet peach smell either, as the name hints at, which separates it from the cheap body sprays you can get in a drugstore. But peach scents from the drugstore remain peachy at <5% of the price
perfumejunkie90s
Sprayed this one on me at Sephora and smells like a little kid who pissed themselves the dry down after an hour smells like vanilla though... still don't like this one, immediately showered when I got home
Sunee
Im in love with this perfume! Sadly i cant buy it now but im hoping to save money for the spring and get a 30ml bottle because this scent is just amazing. I can see how not everyone will like it but i personally find this scent to be addictive since i always come back to smell it
Endi1geida
Godly nectar of yummy and sexy peach, vanilla, and rum. It lasts eternally on me, I wore it the day before and it still lingers after 20 hours. It's a pity that the price is so high.
hot_imouto
Tested this out at a store. On the test paper it smelled like a tasty peach, but on my skin this smells like honey and nothing else. It literally smells like a sticky jar of honey, and not in any good way imo. Unfortunately there seems to be no peach here if worn on skin. Maybe it works better on clothes?
pureangelgirl
ughhh i just don't like it unfortunately
PerfumeAdore♥️
My husband bought this for me for Christmas with no input from me. It is his favorite scent now with YSL Libre le Parfum coming in second. This is a sweet peach scent with a masculine undertone. I was worried that it would be a dirty patchouli because I had seen reviews saying it was. Fortunately, this is smooth and well blended. It is a grown peach scent. One spray has lasted for six hours so far. I am an overspayer, but you don’t need to with this.
mint_on_
Delicious. warm spicy gourmand peach scent, so fall, so yummy, smells so sweet on my skin. love bitter peach. amazing.

Tested a spritz on my wrist this morning and for the rest of the day have kept getting whiffs of fermenting, fizzy, rotting peach. Half expect to get swarmed by fruit flies at any second.
ekstasy
A mild and inoffensive scent. I do smell the peach, especially in the opening, but it reads more floral and 'clean' to me especially the more it dries down. Overall, it kind of smells like a toilet freshener. It would probably make for a decent spring or summer scent nonetheless.
GiaMarks
At first I thought this smelled far too much like cologne (since the opening is heavy on alcohol), but it settles into a much more pleasant scent with time. I wear a little bit to work everyday, and when I come home I can smell the sweeter notes as I put my pajamas on. While multilayered, it's also simple enough to be mixed with other scents: I like it with palo santo, or a touch of pure rosewater for a more delicate, feminine quality.
I will say the bottle is not great: the sprayer always leaks and dribbles when I apply it. All in all, I like this but it's not worth a three-figure splurge.
bilgeakcay
Benzoine shouldn't be that tangy, i can definitely smell it. I don't like peach aroma personally hence i don't want to comment about that. Probably due to blood orange and gasoline, the 'bitter' part of this perfume almost smells like sweat, unfortunately i can't stand this one. Too sharp and overwhelming in many ways.

#482 in my "Tour de Fragrance"
I've rarely tried out a fragrance I felt was under-rated, but this definitely is. It's the last of a 150 decants I got from Microperfumes that I saved for last expecting to hate it from the low rating, but I don't hate it at all. It's not all fruity like you expect. It's actually a masculine leaning woody chypre, and a good one, where the peach is basically a tease in the opening and the sandalwood, davana and jasmine are the star attractions. This is bright and invigorating and I like it. You could get away with this any time and any place. Alhambra's Bright Peach is pretty good similar, not a dupe, but I don't think the TF original is $300 better in scent or potency, so I'd save your money and get the Alhambra. In any case this TF, like all of their scents, is too expensive to blind buy. Get a decant first and see if it's something you'll wear.
Lauren_Trouble
Ngl I was really underwhelmed with this one. The opening was promising, a juicy & ripe peach along with blood orange. The opening is short-lived though, as the peach & blood orange dissipate and you're left with something similar to a lighter Vanille Fatale.
OAKESKINEN
A good scent for dates. Women love it. It doesn't perform that well but smells fantastic(like a bag of gummy bears). I think it's a little synthetic but still lovely. Gonna buy if i get the money.
alessiatommasone
smelt this in the shop yesterday and all I could smell was toilet water...very unpleasant imo, lives up to the 'bitter' in its name
TonkaBean546
Just got this perfume last week and I’m so in love with it. It is very overpriced, but if you’re a peach lover it’s 100% for you. I see people say that it’s not very long lasting, but on me it lasts around 10hrs, on clothes more
MysteriousMidna
I can’t detect any peach at all, only the orange, and not a fresh juicy orange. After a while, it becomes mainly resinous, ambery, and spicy. It reminds me of violin rosin, honey, angostura bitters, and the strings of dried orange slices and cinnamon sticks we’d use as Christmas decorations when I was a kid. The patchouli and booze are subtle and well balanced. Unlike other reviewers, I don’t get any sweat, gasoline, rotten fruit, or toilet products. This scent is good, I like it, its just not a peach or even a mainly-fruity fragrance to me. Smells more suitable for autumn and Christmas with all the warm spices and the touch of orange. The more I wear it, the more I like it. The Oil Perfumery has a decent dupe if you want to save some money.

Just like Lost Cherry, I can't smell this scent. The more I smell it, the more I think it smells like a rotten ripe Peach that someone crushed into a smoothie.
Hinewai
Maybe I just have bad scent association with peach, but I was expecting a refreshing long island iced tea, but got Peach Absolute instead

Wore bitter peach today
It’s been 8 hours and I am still getting a whiff of it every now and then.
Wonder why people say it’s a mild perfume.
About the smell, it is really bitter peach. Not ripe peach like Kilian Liason dangerous. Its peach mixed with rum and the bitterness of orange. Makes it a truly unisex fragrance. Its fruity boozy in the opening and vanilla tonka is the dry down. I can’t detect the patchouli in here so if you hate patchouli don’t get thrown off by this because it’s hardly there
Mulvenna07
I love this fragrance. I thought I was going to hate it because pachouli is usually not for me but the pachouli in this is nice. It's unique like almost all Tom Ford fragrances and it took me some time to appreciate it but now that I do😍 I do wish the price point of the fragrances was cheaper but either way you should definitely get your nose on some of the Tom Ford fragrances.
LaUna
Great opening, true ripe peach with vetiver and boozy undertone. I find perfume blends into a concoction of too many things, warm amber and vanilla for the remainder and slight hints of peach. It warms up on my skin and scent becomes masculine. Peach in a suit so to say. I wish the ripe peach opening stayed longer. I do see resemblance with Apricot Privee which I prefer better.

My nose was never the same the day I had the misfortune of smelling bitter peach. I wish somebody had stopped me when I walked up to the counter, I wish the Frasers employee had stopped me when I picked up the bottle of death, by the time I pressed the top of the bottle and the mist of what I can only describe as burning terror came out I knew I made a mistake, I was immediately taken aback, it felt like Tom ford himself had crept into my nostrils and started lighting sh*t ablaze, my visions dimmed as I thought i had reached death far too early, naturally I dropped the bottle and the liquid of horror covered my shoes soaking them to the brim of the wicked scent I was brought back to life as the whole store started to look at me with disgust in their eyes, I truly realised what I did when the frasers employee told me I needed to pay for the bottle, I quickly grabbed the bottle of Tom ford lost cherry and sprayed it into her eyes (good scent) and for lack of a better term, hauled a** out of the store, the miserable trail of bitter peach following me along of the way I have never returned and never plan on doing so, I also had to buy a new pair of shoes as soaking them in bleach couldn’t eradicate the smell, the only true way to finally cleanse the shoes were to light it on fire in a ditch 50 metres away even then the stink of bitter peach was still trying to get at me, I smiled as I watched the last remnants of bitter peach go where they belonged; Hell, I curse Tom ford, his family, and anyone that took part in creating this Venom. Never again

Few fragrances are truly repulsive. This is one of them.
SpiderMarc
It’s so so good, just tried it on my skin. It will keep you smelling like a plum juicy peach all day.
Don’t know about you but I do find it rather pricey but fret not for there is a much more affordable alternative ‘Bright Peach’ from Maison Alhambra. It’s equally as juicy, just not as long lasting.
shawnlamar
I absolutely love this scent. I have both the original and the clone.
In regard to the Maison Alhambra version, its amazing as well, and it does open "brighter," but the dry down is very similar.
The TF version sits close to the skin for me, which is why I have both, but the comforting vanilla drydown keeps me intrigued with the fragrance, long after the peachy opening has softened. Its a great fragrance--bold yet soft, and easily can be a transitional choice to cut through cooler weather, but also for early spring because of the fruity opening. I can also layer this easily for winter--think more spice or vanilla.....I can see this layered with a favorite gourmand.
RedQueenOfTheSouth
I so wanted to love this , but sadly it smells like someone’s pipe smoking grandpa fresh out the shower with shaving lotion on . . I get no peach at all just a mellow, boozy vanilla smell mixed with old man . Not at all what I was expecting. I don’t get the great reviews 🤦🏼♀️
Nastya6996
Супер мега нейтральный и простой аромат, по жесткости прям малость выше среднего, аромат исключительно для теплой погоды в дневное время суток.
По заявлению, аромат имеет следующие ноты:
Top notes are Peach, Blood Orange, Cardamom and Heliotrope;
Middle notes are Rum, Cognac, Davana and Jasmine;
Base notes are Indonesian Patchouli Leaf, Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Sandalwood, Benzoin, Cashmeran, Styrax, Labdanum and Vetiver.
Ощущаю лишь запах чистой воды подслащенной персиком и чем-то цветочным.
На себе бы не использовал потому что попросту не очень нравяться такие ароматы, на ком-то чувствовать его вполне нейтрально.
clintjr82
Peach, spice , powder and chocolate to my nose. A very mature scent in the same category as Gucci Rush woman or Clive X woman or Allure pour femme . A grown and sexy casual to formal occasion scent. It leans slightly feminine duty to the powdery effect by Jasmine, which kills the fragrance for me. A 35 and up scent. The scent is potent and last. A great scent for the right woman and dress. As for a man, it did-not hit the mark. The best peach based scent for a man is still Chanel’s Allure Homme 1998 pour Homme original hands down .
Aquapinkmoon
I’m way too tired to comment on the scent itself (btw I think it’s stunning), what I will say however is, I tested bitter peach on my skin today while at the shops, literally 8… EIGHT entire hours ago almost 9 and every so often, I am STILL getting gorgeous whiffs of it! I sprayed on my wrists and on my neck and although I can’t smell it on my wrists at all anymore, I am still getting the scent from where I sprayed on my neck? I don’t understand how. Just for reference I have changed clothes so the scent is entirely coming from the ONE spray I did on my skin. The lasting power alone has just made me fall in love with this perfume wow.
TheAverageChef
To me it smells like an overripe peach about to ferment but in a good way, sweet and addicting. My coworkers wife wears this and I catch whiffs of it on him, dreamy scent!
missingbonnet
Gives off an impression that someone is wearing lipstick add a tinge of sweet syrupy peach. I definitely enjoyed the scent wafting at arms length. It becomes softer on dry down to an intimate scent.
Seems like ants love this too
AUyliong
Smells like a slightly floral peach. The peach is very fragrant but not too sweet, artificial or gourmand-y. This is a very good and realistic approximation of peach.
Smells like an expensive luxury goods store in a good way. I think I'm making that association because I've smelt this being pumped through the AC system in a high end boutique before.
Very unisex frag. Good projection and sillage.
I didn't think I was someone who would like peach but this is good. Well judged perfumery. Kudos to the nose behind it.
Longevity is about 6 hrs. Perhaps on someone with a diff body chemistry this could last 8.
CookieFragrance
Bitter Peach - wanted ever since I smelt it in store over a year ago. Finally bought it from TKMaxx in June for a good price 50ml. After not being able to find it on holiday to treat myself then.
This fragrance can be worn all year round I think and day or night - although some may like to reserve it for just the colder months? I have a dupe from perfume parlour which smells exactly the same definitely recommend anyone wanting to try it out for a bit before buying the real thing.
The bitter peach is nice and sweet but also has a warm note from the rum and cognac. The vanilla, tonka bean, patchouli and sandalwood shows through and makes a great combination.
Tripokaridos
Very unique and realistic, it's.sweet with brightness I love it ... And most important it's not like every other sweet perfumes that get headache
Crystals On My Converse
True to its name, very bitter and smells like a mix of peach air freshener and stale sweat on me 🤢
The Frougie Fragranista
I wanted to like this but it gives me B O or peach schnapps.
Beeboss
I only have a dupe of this, but it's fantastic. Sweet, boozy peach. It feels amazing on cold days. I don't know how long lasting the original is, but the dupe lasts and lasts. At least 6 hours!
cyclone1391
Nice, very quality peach. Prob the best I've sampled. That being said I much prefer lost cherry, but if you want that vibe but peach instead, here ya go. Lots of notes listed but I get peach, yes it's bitter, but also syrupy but not like pie. Boozy and lightly spiced, with a sexiness in the woody base. This is strong, powerful, on my skin and cool weather leaning. I could see this being excellent for going out, but I get like jazzy, speakeasy kind of imagery. Even though it's not for me, I could see this being sexy on women and even some men.
sagecoated
I really don't like this... the first peach note was delightful and fun, yet it quickly turned into some spiritless spicy rum scent, then it was just plain soapy. I think it might be about my skin, since I had seen a lot of comments which highlighted the persistency of peach even after hours later, the peach note lasted maybe for half an hour at best on me. I'm glad this one wasn't a blind buy for me.
yayaaroma
I realized this is either a love or a hate. For me, its a LOVE. This was my first TF fragrance, and I keep the candles in my home as well. Woodsy, fruity, sweet but not too sweet, smooth, warm . Ughh LOVE. To me its an all year fragrance. I deff dont get rum or cognac, I mostly get a slight bitterness in peach, vanilla, woody and powder. With great projection and good longevity considering it TF. Best peach fragrance there is. Especially if you like peach with a little spice and vanilla. I will always always have this fragrance. I get compliments every time I wear it too. I feel like price is price and alot of reviews tend to focus on price and I get it.. but price is subjective. It's also repetitive and not quite helpful to keep going on and on about.
waterliIy
a sweet peach scent balanced out by the rum and cognac, definitely a scent that i loved to wear during the summer and spring
aussiediparma
One spray on my arm covered in sweat, sea salt, sand and washed off sunscreen: Opener reminds me of fruity/peachy hair shampoo (similar effect to PDM's Greenley), then gives way to a similar booziness/nearly burnt creme brulee of Killian's Angel's Share. Quite a pleasant contrast of freshness and dense warmth.
neferpitoo
You either love this or hate this, and I HATE this. This is so bitter that you can almost taste it - the name is very accurate.
It's a peach, and it's bitter, but it doesn't smell like a realistic fruity peach, peaches have zest, freshness and sweetness in their scent, and this fragrance is really only focusing on the bitter part, it's a slightly bit pungent even, and has a noticable "makeup" smell to it
vixxiimcmlxxxvii
found my little sample of this and electric cherry stashed away, never used. so here's my two cents, really only one cent cause i haven't much to say on it:
it's nice. i'll never purchase this, but it is nice. i can imagine the lady beneath me getting compliments on it for sure. i feel like literally anyone could wear this and it's a frickin' stunner. i just know if i bought it, i would never reach for it. this sample i'll actually keep, unlike electric cherry, because i can imagine wearing it alone on the couch when the kids are asleep and bf is out of town or something. just being me, all by myself.
Jitzuhan
This perfume is very special to me because it's my most well complimented fragrance and it reminds me of the time when I visited Melbourne last April of this year. I bought this (10ml) despite of its heavy price tag because I wanted to wear something new and unique at the same time. The moment I smelled this one in the store, it really surprised me in a good way and immediately bought it. When I sprayed it on my skin and on clothes, it smelled heavenly. The projection was also loud. It didn't cause me headache. Every time the wind blows, I get whiffs of it and to me, it perfectly represents autumn. It's really strong and talking about longevity, it almost lasted the whole day. What I got on my skin was mostly peach, rum, patchouli, sandalwood and vanilla but patchouli was the dominant note. Also, I tried spraying it in my room and when I got back to the hotel more than 12hrs after, the scent was still there and it's strong. Amongst all the fragrances that I own (not so much, only around 10), this is by far the only one that made me "wow" and won't get tired of using it. Definitely a beautiful scent. The only downside is the price!
I see some people commenting here on Fragrantica don't like this fragrance because it's polarizing. I understand. Definitely not a blind buy worthy. You should test before buying. I don't care if this perfume receives hate from the fragrance community. All I can say is this is beautifully blended and gets the job done.
ANNAFRYS
Its not a peach note I like in perfumes. Dry down is spooky like cheap halloween candies.

This is a love for me
Raegan Hall
An absolute favorite of mine. A very unique, warm, boozy, sexy, rich, bitter peach. Love it for all seasons but not particularly when it’s too hot out, it’s a little too deep for that kind of weather. Truly so unique as in I can’t think of anything that’s ever smelled like this before.
lanascherry
Tom Ford’s Bitter Peach indeed smells like… bitter peach, as if you would cut a fresh, ripe peach and sprinkle it with spices - heady, offbeat and savoury. The most surprising thing to me was that this fruity note definitely shows right away when you spray it on, yet lasts forever. Even after hours when there’s a clear smell of the base, you can still catch the flavour of the fruit. Unfortunately, I can’t detect any cognac or rum on my skin. This scent is certainly not for everyone and perhaps not the safest blind purchase. However, if you dream of a prominent and eccentric peach fragrance you should definitely give this one a try. Despite its intensity, it will not suffocate or overwhelm you even during hot summer days, if you use a sensible amount of it.
yuvahl
I got this as a 100ml bottle for my eighteenth birthday as my first expensive fragrance. the first time i used it it was a bit underwhelming, however after a couple of uses i’ve realized this is the type of fragrance you need to spray on your clothes, today i sprayed it four times, twice on neck and twice on clothes, and 12 hours later i still do in fact smell it. it’s not the type of fragrance that everyone around you will immediately notice, but it’s the type of fragrance someone close to you will appreciate.
personally, i’m plenty satisfied with my purchase.
fairycoffins
I was so excited to get this sample with a Sephora order several months ago, but then I promptly threw it in my box of samples and forgot about it. Finally reaching for it on a hot August day in the South, and I will admit I was a bit overwhelmed by the boozy notes upon first spray. I adore peach and I adore the base notes here, but the rum and cognac kinda made me nauseous. (Could have to do with the fact that I don’t drink anymore, or it might just work better for me in the fall.) Now that it’s drying down, it’s not so unpleasant. It’s delightfully fruity but with some sophistication and complexity, as I come to expect from Tom Ford. I don’t love it enough to splurge on a bottle, but it would get some love if it was gifted to me. It’s definitely performing better than Lost Cherry. It’s worth trying if you love these notes and can afford it.
rosewoodoud555
Okay. This is one of my fave TF frags (and TF is my fave designer house). I must have a magical bottle because FIVE whole days after I sprayed my dress with Bitter Peach, the scent is still strong in the laundry! The lasting power is insane. No issues with performance, and I still love the candied peach amber accords ❤️ Perfect for hot, summer, outdoor weather (2nd review)
devilstango
honestly just smells really cheap to me :/
tterekhova
I always wanted to treat myself with TF fragrance, but was deterred by the unreasonable (for me) price. Today, I got TF Bitter Peach duo (50ml and 10ml travel) for mere $240 CAD from a Cosmetic Store at our local outlet. No way I would spend the price Sephora or Holt Renfrew are selling it for (over $600 CAD). I guess, I am not original with this kind of sentiments.
So, the first impression is that it smells like Heat by Beyonce that a local Shoppers Drugmart is selling off for $25. My beloved peach scent Venezia is more sophisticated in every way.
After an hour or so, it starts opening up with some spices and tobacco. Now, I feel like I got a deal. Interesting transformation. Love this tobacco!
I read a lot of reviews here and I think I am getting it why many people don't like this scent. Tobacco note. I smelled Tobacco Vanille first and liked it. Not on me, but in general; interesting sensation. I am glad that some of this twist is present here, in the fragrance that is more wearable to me.
AmoreProfumi
This was a rollercoaster when I put this on.. blast of peach ooh I like it bright n juicy.. wait it’s changing eh don’t like it smells kinda old lady and like make up.. wait changed again I like it, it’s getting foody peach cobbler cozy and warm (probably the tonka+vanilla) sweet fruity with a woody powdery dry down. Definitely from my exp I’d say this is a try before you buy.. esp. if you’re expecting more light & bright and less gourmand warm..I like it this but wasn’t what I was expecting; it’s a peach scent for all year & not just the warmer days.
beautyjolic
Doesn't work with my body chemistry at all, smells like a room of an old lady with ancient furniture to me.
Greg & Claire
Paris Corner’s ‘Taskeen’ is a very good clone with good sillage and lasting for about 6 hours. Good price too.
Tshahb
After the initial blast of synthetic peach candy mayhem, within 10 minutes it dries down into Mugler Angel, albeit slightly less loud.
It smells good, but you don't need it.
jugsnhugs
One of the most realistic peach fragrances I've ever experienced, however dries down to a much more spicy and woody scent.
Only peach forward initially. Lasts a decent amount of time on clothes and skin but $250 for a 1oz bottle is just CRAZY for what you get.
.rosamartho
O pêssego, por mais que gostoso de sentir (e o mais realista que ja testei!), não dura na pele, some muito rápido e deixa um cheiro que não me agrada.
Me dá enxaqueca, mas entendo o motivo de gostarem tanto dele
5hiraeth
It starts with a sweet and juicy peach scent, but just like H24's top notes, it disappears too quickly. I'm also not very fond of its middle and base notes. However, considering it is a women's perfume, maybe some girls might really like it. Another issue is the excessively high price; I feel that Tom Ford's perfumes don't live up to their price tag.
Smell : 6.5/10 - Very nice peach notes, but too short.
Performance : 6/10
Uniqueness : 7/10 - For the peach scent.
Longevity : (Only tested it on a test paper, so I can't comment)
Sillage : (Same)
Value : 3/10 - Way overpriced
Personal score : 5.5/10
MsSuperbolla
I can imagine wearing this perfume on the first crisp, but still warm autumn day in a city when you accidentally meet a future crush, and then remembering that day every time you smell this perfume.
rubycathryn
This is the perfect floral for people who don't like florals. Overpriced as all Tom Ford is, the peach is realistic without leaning into the candle-sphere other peach scents (looking at you, MDCI) can fall into. Bitter and interesting, the most delicious warm weather scent. Smells like a linen dress and a basket bag while walking through a hot city centre. Always reminds me of a good outfit on a train to the beach - though not a beach scent itself. Summer parties but not restaurants. Shopping for swimwear. Pub benches on the sidewalk. The best-smelling friend you have on a sweaty hot day.
Rja94
First spray smells like a mix of peach and a Lush shop to me. Dries down to a very subtle sweet/woody skin scent. Initially really disliked it but have been working through a TF sample set and seems to be growing on me.
Very sweet and a little boozy/spicy. Longevity isn’t great for such an expensive perfume but I’ll enjoy the sample and maybe in the future get a travel size.
maddieonline
On paper this sounds fantastic but in reality I find this to be incredibly synthetic. I can't seem to wear Tom Ford fragrances - much like Lost Cherry this fragrance made me sick. The bitterness is overwhelming on me although I do pick up a realistic peach which is nice.
It lasts forever, and really really creates a strong scent bubble. Not for me, and I want to reiterate that I think it's just my skin as opposed to the perfume being bad, but I can understand why people like it as it does smell wonderful in the bottle.
Diamiadan
This scent is rancid. It smells like someone ate too many peaches and threw up. I can’t with this one. It’s so unpleasant.
oliviaandbeauty
There’s something about this fragrance that makes me dislike it. Not only does it smell like an expired peach juice, it’s also so strong that it gives me a headache each time I try it.
Heavenly Heather
Powder, peaches, vanilla and vetiver are what I mainly get from this beautiful fragrance. I don’t detect any bitterness which I’m a smidge disappointed about because I wanted to know what a bitter peach would smell like. Either way I’m happy with it and it has pretty good projection and longevity.
leximayxo
so good, I definitely get some of the rum cognac notes but not in a nauseating overpowering way. Best peach I've smelled but honestly too pricey even for how good it is.
ughhabbie
Really headache inducing. i like this perfume but more than one spray and all you or anyone else can smell is Bitter Peach. The opening notes remind me a lot of that signature mugler patchouli (?) note that takes a while to settle down. because of that i see this perfume being really divisive, either you love it or hate it. i haven’t still quite made up my mind about it yet and it definitely won’t be going into my weekly rotation but i would reach for it every now and then
Butterflysoulmate
Spring-Summer version Black Phantom by Killian!
In dry down is absolutely the same vibe!

Strong like for me🍑

I avoided TF frags for the longest time…I thought they were just overpriced overhyped BS…And likely Migraine inducers. That is, until a year ago when I was chatting with a very good friend of mine (who I don’t see…or smell often). We were having a discussion about fragrances and during this chat, she told me that she wears TF Tobacco Vanille and Lost Cherry. She instructed me to head on down to the local Sephora to take a whiff because she was sure I’d love both, as we have very similar taste in frags. Hell, we used to borrow each other’s juice while getting ready for a night of clubbing back in the good ‘ol 90’s. I obliged her recommendation, but didn’t expect much. Well…she WAS right, I DID LOVE both, like LOVE Love.
Now…here is where this Peach concoction comes into play. During that first visit to Sephora when I stuck my nose into the TV and LC, I stopped myself from smelling any further and saved dear old Peach for another day. Cut to a week later, when I had to go back to Sephora in order to visit and douse myself with some Lost Cherry (to hold me over until my sample vials that I had ordered arrived in the mail).
At Sephora, and before the plan to douse myself with LC was enacted, I reached for Peach for a whiff and Oh..My…GOD. There I was falling in love AGAIN damnit!! The LC dousing was abandoned, and the BP dousing was in full force.
What initially was HEAVEN quite quickly morphed into Eau de Shitshow. A dusty musty Rotten peach pit mixed with some B.O. was what I was left with a mere 20 min later. Peach and I were NOT simpatico.
Cut to a week later, when I kept smelling a weird odor in my house. I thought there may have been something rotting in my garbage can, so I took the garbage out. Yet a couple of hours later the smell was still lingering. Come to find out, it was coming from the jacket that I had been wearing during that trip to Sephora. 😆 So, if you happen to love this stuff, when you wear it def spray some on the clothing that you happen to be wearing because OY VEY….that stuff WILL stick around! 🤣
FlowerSeeker
This is another TF fragrance that I tried at Sephora and really wanted to like. I could smell the peach very faintly at first, but it soon turned to a dull body odor smell. There’s something about TF fragrances that just don’t work for me. Feel like I’m missing out on the fun.

I can see that many people, who write negative reviews simply do not like peach in perfumery, this is also not my style at all, to be very honest, but let's make one thing clear. I have said this many times in several of my reviews, that Estée Lauder has some serious pricing policy issues in my opinion, this is undoubtedly very high level of perfumery, that is presented in Bitter Peach, undoubtedly niche, but not for this price range and volume of a perfume. Things should be priced correctly. This should be priced around 200$ for 50 ml. as a top end, this is just my opinion, of course.
Regarding Bitter Peach as a perfume, this is a very solid release by Private Blend. This is linear, fabulously build modern gourmand fragrance. The olfactive profile is just a fabulous modern reminiscent of a peach with very creamy textures and boozy aspects as well. Very unique interpretation in a very modern way. This is also opposite to this style of minimalistic, light and airy perfumery which is presented by houses of Byredo or Le Labo for example. This is way more intense, quite a complex yet linear perfume. I am not a gourmand lover, but everyone who is into gourmand-oriental family should experience it. Perfumer, who worked with this, achieved something really phenomenal.
Linear wall of a fragrance, creamy, sweet, lactonic, very clean, fluffy, delicious, boozy and woody aspects compliment this.
Expertly chosen naturals together with a nice ratio of indispensable aroma-chemicals to built this, I believe:
Iso E Super, Vanillin, Coumarin, long perfectly built musk accord (vanilic Ethylene Brassylete, very clean, berry like Ambrettolide, Muscone), Sandalore, Polysantol (could enhance the creaminess) the raw materials that can create a base of it. The lightness, projection and clean facets are supported by Helional, Hedione, Lily of the valley raw materials like Liliestralis or Lyral maybe. I believe, this concept was built around Coumarin, Heliotropin, Aldehyde C14 (Gamma-decalactone) together with different fruit Acetates, Benzyl Salicylate and Benzyl Benzoate, the way to create such a juicy and accurate Peach smell. This is the way, I am thinking about the notes in this. I have no idea, how they did it, but the peach accord in this was built exceptionally well. Very beautiful and artistic perfumery, definitely high quality, rich, expertly blended, to be fair.
They selected a beautiful ratio of aroma-chemicals and naturals, but these naturals are not the most expensive in the world to price a perfume like they do so. (>200$ for 30ml.) However, this is very beautiful perfume, I can't deny. The price point is a very personal thing of every consumer, but I just tried to analyze the price objectively.

Rotten peach candy.

Scored this and Lost Cherry through a friend who wasn't keen on them and sold them to me for cheap. I've been dying to get my nose on Lost Cherry for ages and this one for a good few months. I finally know what people mean by an earthy smell. This opens quite masculine and green. It smells like an actual peach with green leaves and heavy patchouli, like fruit from the ground still with dirt on. Sounds bad but it's not. It settles down into a more milky, sort of peach body lotion smell but still with the fuzzy realistic peach smell rather than a fake peach like you'd normally get. I had a bit of a play about with it after testing it on it's own. I used a peach body lotion then sprayed this over the top and it left a gorgeous smell all day yesterday. I could still smell it this morning on my arms. It smells gorgeous with a rose perfume sprayed on your neck and clothes. A fresh, green, rose though to mix with the green of this one. Not what I expected at all and not bitter to me. Not much, if any, boozy smell either. Just realistic peach and lots of patchouli. Quite dry and a bit powdery. I like it. I don't get any blood orange but I remembered I had a small 15ml bottle of Beyonce Heat Rush which has blood orange in so I layered them, just on a small area incase it didn't work, and it was gorgeous. The sweetness of Heat Rush balanced out the slightly masculine element. I don't mind the unisex smell though, if it was more of a feminine peach it'd probably be too generic. I wouldn't wear this for a night out it's too tame, I find it a day time sort of scent for when you want to smell good but not over power everyone around you. Which is a rare occasion for me tbh. Hence why I think using it on my skin as a sort of amped up body lotion then use a different perfume is the best way to use this.
Fountain30
Powdery peach and nothing else. So many notes listed - where are they? All I smell is synthetic peach. I find the projection to be very good actually for a Tom Ford but it’s sickly sweet so many people don’t like smelling it in the air. A bit juvenile.
Nosebleeder
Obsessed with bitter peach….. I hate the price. But the fragrance is so cool and confident, obvs summery and beautiful. If it wasn’t for the price I would buy it over and over again, spraying it all over my body.
I tried the full body spray they do as well, which was pretty good, and cheaper.
denisa_iv
The opening of this fragrance does not work for me at all. The peach is in the background but what I get is a strange, scent, not necessarily bitter but mostly green imo, probably the combination of citrus with cardamom.
Once it settles it's a pleasant scent, powdery peach through and through. It doesn't change much from there. The powdery note (or dry spices) are somewhat in line with Rose Prick, the way rose was interpreted there is similar to how the peach was in this one, but I prefer Rose Prick, and not just because I like rose perfumes. Bitter Peach does not project or last on skin too much, you'd have to spray your clothes with it.
Not for me given the opening and I would not spend so much on it but I appreciate it as a nice peach perfume that is not too young or fruity, it still has elegance, it's a Tom Ford. You'd have to like powdery scents to like this one, imo.
Mdellaroc
This is a beautiful, soft scent. I don’t find any “bitter” in it. It is sweet, peachy, but not in an in your face peach way. The name and the scent do not match for me at all. Powdery for sure, but luxe powder not drugstore mass produced powder. I feel it is not full bottle worthy due to price for a pretty but IMO not stunning scent. I would go travel size as I feel I would want to wear it frequently enough, and it might have a more hypnotic appeal the more you wear it. Still the price is prohibitive.
Allthingssparkle
I can't believe how much I love this fragrance. I am typically a sweet/fresh or sweet fragrance girl, and the opinions of this are all over the map, so I didn't know what to expect. I am not one who cares for unisex or masculine-leaning fragrances, so I was a little nervous. It's become one of my favorites!
This is like the scent you get when you pick up a fresh peach and smell it without cutting into it -- that realistic, sharp, fresh, green, almost bitter scent of peach skin. They have NAILED it! I've never had anything that smells like this, and it's amazing.
I COULD wear it just like it is, but I actually like a bit more sweetness to my fragrances (and fresh fruit is typically less sweet than candy, so this fragrance isn't particularly sweet, either), so I layer this with "Peach Please" body butter from Amazon, plus Nishane's 100 Silent Ways, and the effect is AMAZING. I put everything on at 7:30 this morning. It's now 2:15 p.m. and still going strong. I LOVE it!

I love the uniqueness of TF fragrances. I love that although bitter peach is a fruity scent, it’s not your average fruity scent. The woods and liquor takes it in another direction. Typically we imagine fruity scents to be for summer maybe spring but bitter peach for me is the prefect fall/winter fruity scent. This can also me an all year round scent as well.
unrealgirl
oh my god this is so good. it smells like a really juicy but slightly bitter peachn and like some kind of cocktail :) it stayed around 24 hours on my skin, the drydown is a nice and warm vanilla. i dont get the patchouli at all though
if it wasnt so extremely pricey for some luxurious reason i would 100% buy it right away.
rhaineclayton
Tested this today, along with a few other Tom Ford's and my verdict is that this is one of the better ones from his range.
That said, is it worth the price tag? Absolutely not. I have Orchid Soleil and have tested Plum Japonais and think they're gorgeous, but I find a most of his other scents to be overrated.
As the name suggests, this is peach heavy, but as someone who loves a good peach note, I find the somewhat synthetic, syrupy peach in My Burberry Black, or the vibrant peach in Tresor, far more complex and appealing.
This is a powdery peach (I'm guessing it's the heliotrope that gives it that soft powdery vibe). About five hours in it started to smell somewhat similar to Amouage Sunshine, which I have and love.
Worth having if you can get a really good dupe at a reasonable price. Otherwise, pass.
Clairexoxo
Slices of bitter-sweet peach marinated in a warm glass of rum. It has a powdery aspect too which I really like because it gives me the “sensation” of the peach skin... almost as if the perfume had a texture. I get a hint of labdanum in the background. This smells high quality, unisex and grown up. Lovely!
Cloudwalker
I personally don’t get the hype. Sometimes I think people should forget the brand and smell without brand prejudice. They might come to the convolution that tho it has blasting power, it smells like a cheap synthetic peach candy. No sophistication, no luxury. The price point is outrageous.
Feadedía
Bitter Peach comes in strong with the peachy note - not peaches from an orchard, but from sweet, cognac infused candied peaches; the kind you find sitting pretty in a Lalique crystal bowl, accompanied by a service of white tea at dusk. The sweet, boozy peachy note lingers throughout the day, but you can definitely sense how the vanilla, cashmere and tonka bean carry and elevate the scent from a pleasantly syrupy peach to a deeply aromatic and complex peach dessert.
Titiana
I’m obsessed with it at the moment. Yes it’s obnoxiously expensive, but as a tea lover, this makes me intoxicated. It is very woody, and punches the freshness right in the nose from the start, jasmin is very pronounced on my skin the first 20 min, it gives a green undertone to the peach extract.
Overall it is a spiced peach tea with vanilla and a boozy accord, it smells so creamy in the drydown from the sandalwood and it almost makes me think about oud, even though there is nothing like that.
passthemustard
My partner said it smells like expensive toilet cleaner and now I can’t unsmell it.
Allybabaa
There’s something in the dry down in almost every TF frag in these square bottles that I hate and makes it so recognizable that it’s TF. Smells cheap to me honestly. Super off putting. This is no exception. You are gonna be smelling like a rotten moldy peach and I am not sure when or where you would wear this.

Peach rings soaked in cognac. Devine

I didn’t like the initial spray of this one. Especially the boozy peach fruit but I later grew to like and I waited until the dry down. The Sutleness of the patchouli and the cozy vanilla is what got me. It’s classified and unisex but to me this is leaning more unisex. It might not be for everyone for best to maybe get a decant prior to splurging a lot of money on this. This lasted a good 8 hours on my skin and a day on my clothes.
Deppaholic
First wear for me and I thought, wow so much love people have for this and....I get dust, dusty dust as if opening an old wooden wardrobe, and there lies a fragrance of the past. The woman had fancy clothes, and furs, and this. I will revisit it and update. I really doubt there is anything for me in this orange bottle. Nada, nyet.....nothing.....I will say this much, it has so much staying power. It really lays the dollar down and never goes away for me, which is not good. All those notes just faded into dusty dust in the wooden wardrobe. Definitely try this one before you buy....
isranas
this perfume literally screams fall autumn days a lot, if you really want to know how it’s smells it’s literally the 2000s plastic doll baby’s who smells orange. First spray I smell a lot blood orange after 1 hours it’s smells peachy. My friends love it on me but I regret it, first I thought it was a good idea but then I understand it’s not for my age, very cute smell but at the same time very sexy tho. good smell for grown rich powerfull woman but my poor ass stays with playfull smell gucci envy me 😭😭😭 confident woman should buy it. very very long lasting tho it stays on air fr+ so expensive for what??? Tom ford should chill
Kimmie96
I love this perfume so much and I am not into Tom Ford perfumes mainly because of being overpriced and the notes come off as assaulting my sense of smell. But this is the girl that she thinks she is, 3 of my friends want it because of the sample I put on. They all live it.
It has a warm fruity, woody opening but the dry down truly is the mainshow. That cognac and sandalwood really stands out on me. I love it 10/10 for me, it’s my top two and not number 2. I must just get over the price first🙃, but definitely worth the purchase.
ramparab
very bitter. very peach. lasts all day on skin. very refreshing take on fruity fragrance. not funny fruits, more like fruit punch vibes from a dark, horror movie
nightflights
Smells like Skittles to me. Didn’t get any of the other notes listed here, pretty linear. This was a scrubber for me, but I can see how people who enjoy candied scents would like this. Just not for me.
CathSvila
Ever-so-slightly unripe peaches, doused in spiced vanilla cognac. It’s fresh in the opening and heart notes with a very slight spice, and so cozy in the dry down. It’s the Tom Ford scent that finally won me over. Head over heels.
leatherorrisviolet
I really want to hate this due to the price and girly bottle, but the chalky and earthy sillage I get out of this is addictive. I’m definitely going to layer this with Patchouli Absolu and Fougere d’Argent
EpicureOrHedonist?
Loved this until a skin test. It's umm.. Pure 100% cold pressed NEEM OIL on me, hahahaha. I'm almost amazed
summervanilla
Got a sample of this and didn't know what any of the notes were except peach. On me it's very linear and mostly smells like dusty peaches. It's ever so slightly boozy and sandalwoody (I have to concentrate to pick it up), but the star, as the name suggests, is peach. There is something "fuzzy" about it, and that's not just because peaches are fuzzy. It's like if there was peach scented fabric softener or dryer sheets. Peachy laundry, like a fuzzy sweater. I get no bitterness or any of the other notes in particular. I don't really like it much. If I was going to wear a peach scent, I would rather just wear Bath & Body Works peach fragrances because they are juicier and not dusty. I don't dislike it so much I won't finish it, but it's going to be intentional and not something I reach for because I love it. I will layer it with Bath & Body Works or something else. To each their own, but I don't think this deserves the hype.
amudrechenko
Gorgeous spicy and semi-sweet, boozy peach in the opening, and leathery drydown at the end. Quite different from "musky" and heavy "candied" peaches, like the one by Tiziana Terenzi "Draco". This peach is indeed bitter and soft at the same time, universal, robust and increasingly sexy. I absolutely adore this perfume and it quickly became my most favorite peach-based scent. If you ever tried Diptyque Kimonanthe (apricot-based), this perfume is similar to it in drydown, but unlike Kimonanthe it's not tooth-rotting sugary sweet. This Tom Ford's peach is way more versatile, easier to wear, less offensive and less polarizing.
Toogle
Very long lasting, first 3-4 hours projection is really good. Sweet enough and Smells like peach hookah. I love it
hola gigi
Patchouli Bomb with slightly sweet underlying accords. The peach note isn't the main attraction. It didn't excite me at all & I wish it were more boozy. Unfortunately, I didn't get the hype... not interested in this fragrance or it's dupes.
blake.lee
Tom Ford copying Isis Agonist and 1969 Parfum de Revolte Histoires de Parfums. I have both of those and they’re both better than this. *yawn*
manarasti
I do love the initial spraying but the spices ruined it for me. It changes from a fruity and uplifting scent to the worst mixture of spices. the dry down is horrendous. I can detect cinnamon in it which is not listed on the notes. maybe my nose is wrong and it’s cardamom mixed with benzoin.
KamillaNilsen
i got this in a sample, and the first thing i thought when i smelled it is that it’s so similar to Paco Rabanne Lady Million empire in its drydown.
Vanillastorm40
Omg. I LOVE THIS. This is one that I don't hear much talk about, at least where I live and the reviewers on YT that I watch. What I do know about it is only what I've read here and I know it has pretty polarizing opinions. Seems like people on Fragrantica either love or hate this. I love a good Peach note. One if my fave frags ever is Gucci Rush and that one gets a ton of hate. This is syrupy sweet candied peaches. I think it leans very feminine but I'm in the anyone can wear anything camp. I rocked out with Acqua di Gio for men (frosted clear bottle) straight through the mid 90s, not anymore bc it's like water now. Anyway, back to BP...this thing is still on my clothes from Saturday (it's Wednesday morning). Going strong too. From maybe 5 squirts of a sample. So if I decide to go broke and get it, it'll last for a long time. I think this honestly would be good for all seasons also. Might even be extra delightful in the fall sprayed with a squirt or 2 of my CJ Scents Boo or Pumpkin Tobacco. If you're on the fence, this is DEFINITELY worth trying.

Initial review:
Sweet, unisex, high quality.
Reminds me of peach rings. Smells so good I could eat it. Definitely wouldn't buy this at retail price though and they definitely use a lot of aromachemicals.
mangooo
Maybe I'm crazy but I don't smell any peach in this. Initial opening is a giant blast of spicy woodiness reminiscent of men's aftershave. 30s later some sweetness comes through to balance it out. I get a lot of benzoin in the dry down. Unfortunately it's not for me and gave me a headache
Emma_C
TL;DR - Skip this watered down fragrance and get Peach Honey by Flavia for the exact same scent but with beast mode projection and longevity.
Actual review:
Unfortunately, Bitter Peach smells more bitter than peach on my skin. Also the longevity and projection are very poor for its price point.
If you’re looking for a 1:1 dupe I recommend Flavia - Peach Honey. It is made by an UAE based company, SterlingPerfumes. It’s 100% the same thing, but the projection and longevity on Peach Honey are out of this world. I’m an over-sprayer but a single spray fills a whole room and it lasts for about 18-24h on skin and 3-4 days on clothes.
I paid 23€ for a 100ml bottle of Peach Honey, absolute madness. I am now questioning everything, especially how do designers justify these crazy prices when you can find something so much better for literally 1/20 of the original price …
Anmada85
This reminds me so much of Phlur apricot privee. Despite all of the notes listed it smells very simple to my nose. It’s a forgettable scent for me.
baerro
I got a sample of this in my Sephora order. Let me just start off with how I would *never* pay the current retail price for a full bottle of this, on principle. They're out of their minds.
Now that that's out of the way: this isn't a bad perfume. It opens with a blast of peach, a note I'm growing to adore. However, the peach doesn't stay on my skin very long, barely an hour (that might be asking too much of peach, though). That's when the alcohol develops. The cognac in particular blooms on my skin, supported by both jasmine and benzoin, the latter of which usually turns powdery or too sweet on me but here manages to be tempered. The peach is bitter, but somehow pleasantly so.
"Bitter Peach" is more sophisticated than it seems upon first glance. Still not paying that price, though.
ILove_Smelling_perfume
Ah where shall I begin with this? Upon initially first smelling this I absolutely hated it, A strong rotten peach smell with a strong masculine sweetness to it, it made me sick to my stomach. I thought then to spray it on my skin and on my clothes that changed a lot for me. I always believe in trying a perfume on your skin before you make a decision. The dry down is sooo lovely. Smells like a sweet rum peach cocktail.
So I’m currently in a Uber right now and the driver went “wow whatever you have on I haven’t smell that in 30 years” can someone say if there was a perfume during that time that smelt like Bitter peach?
BlondePandora
I’m disappointed and feel this scent is vastly over-hyped. I was expecting to smell peach, and I simply couldn’t detect any fruitiness whatsoever, not even a hint. On me this mostly smells like a high-pitched sickly-sweet baby powder—mostly unpleasant, yet forgettable among the sea of unpleasant acrid baby powder scents. After about four to five hours, the fragrance softened out and a cardamom chorus began to rise in a valiant attempt to drown out the baby powder. At least cardamom is an ingredient I add to peach cobbler. But I would also add peaches, which Tom Ford forgot to do. I might attempt to improve this by layering it with Maybe Baby by Benefit, which actually does have resonant yet nuanced peach. Or maybe I’ll just wear Maybe Baby and skip this altogether.
mapleresinmetalmust
a very dry and dusty peach. Recalls the scenes in Bong Joon Ho's Parasite, gently scraping the fuzz off the skin. If you let fly a pinch of those peach skin fibres, to float across a sterile-ly beautiful room with expensive wooden floors, I think it would smell something like this, for that second they were suspended in the sun.
Great movie, but I still think, for dry, spiced peaches, I will stick with Mitsouko.
chicagogirl
Lol I also got a Sephora sample of this, honestly I made an order just bc of this sample because I've been wanting to try this so bad, and I always forget to try it when I'm in stores. It's definitely very peach ring-y lol. I get a deep incense-y vibe from it too. I smell the booziness as well. It's a unique, refined sophisticated scent. Even though I smell the peach ring note I would not be able to specifically detect that if I smelled it on someone else. I would lean in to get a better sniff though bc this is soo unique and refined. If you want a perfume with a similar vibe (although different profile) try My Burberry Black. It's also a peach-based refined sophisticated scent. I definitely like this but honestly not enough to drop $400 or however much Tom Ford is charging for it lol.
blackcat02
Got a sample in my Sephora order today and this smells uncanny to a Starbucks peach green tea. I love it. There’s no obvious sweetness other than the natural sugars from the peach. Blood orange adds a nice citrusy zest and keeps the top from being artificial. Also the wood in this is so nice. Vetiver and sandalwood get more intense in the dry down. First TF frag I’ve liked enough to consider buying. But ugh, the price. Anyone know of any good dupes?
Vicky456
Wasn’t expecting that many notes, i can barely smell most of them lol. It smells like a peach cobbler but only the warm peach scent. It’s kind of woody and tropical. It is very very faint on me though, it lasts maybe over an hour.
Tony Shades
Surprisingly, it's very floral to me in the drydown, more like Osmanthus than Peach. The floral part makes it sexy womanly, but it gets annoying after a while. You need to love floral peachy or Osmanthus bombs to enjoy this one till the end. It's like a fruitier version of Good Girl Gone Bad, if you want a comparison.
I don't get any balsamic notes whatsoever. That would have been too much, to be honest. I'm glad they only put trance amounts that I don't even smell.
rednose

Kameronb24!
Smells like a fruiter version of black orchid in the opening. Smells like a sweeter better version of D&G The One in the dry down.

Love, love, love from first sniff. Immediately teleports me to a tropical island, beach cocktail bar at sunset. Cafe del mar ambiance, hot bodies, booze and fun. Drinking Bellini of course....

I love this one. I like, love it love it. For the price, I’d better. Dry down is an order of magnitude better than the initial hit, which is still good.
I’d recommend it if it’s within your means, otherwise I’d go for a dupe.
jellybeantree
Maison Alhambra has a dupe of this and it’s very long lasting. If you don’t want to spend all the money.
HMY
I cant believe I am writing this but I love bitter peach. I tried all perfumes from blended collection and I just could not stand it; vanille tobacco - I mean who wants to smell like tobacco? Lost cherry - apologies for those loves this but it smelled like air freshener on me.
So, when I tried bitter peach and fell in love I was in shock; its not sweet, summery peach. This is dark, boozy, very complex peach. its still sweet but it has this undertone of booziness. Its very linear, I sprayed myself 2-4 times and it lasts till I wash my clothes. It does smell expensive. Due to its complexity, I dont think everyone will appreciate it. if you prefer sweet perfumes like aquolina sugar and these kind of scents, I dont think you will like bitter peach.
Now, would I pay 200-300$ for this? I dont think so. I got lucky to get hand on decant but I am that kind of person who will not spend 200$ on perfumes and rather find a dupe. But as I said, its love for me and I will add it to my collection. The bottle and presentation is amazing. I find this perfume versatile; you can wear it to office, any season, day/night.
mania5543
smells like bong water
cutepoison
Loved it when I smelled the bottle. Such an intriguing scent. But on my skin it smells so bad, like hay. The dry down is a bit better but not good enough. seems like my skin chemistry just doesn’t work with this one.
y2kcowgirl
This smells like Blue Magic hair grease while you’re putting a peach cobbler in the oven. Muu-muu wearing tease.
It took me a while, but it grew on me. I’m not a big fan of patchouli but this was expertly done. I get three layers in this, the peach on top, then the rum and cashmere, and then towards the end of the day the patchouli with just a hint of the original peach. Very grown, very sexy.
A thick unscented body lotion is all you need but I prefer using a matching oil. It does linger a little and lasts a good 5-6 hours (lotion), 7-8 hours (oil), just enough to keep your work crush intrigued.
It’s the perfect unisex scent and the candle is equally phenomenal (and for the price, I’d better keep my butt at the house and smell it until there’s nothing left).
SmeIIy-C@t
This was a blind buy in a 10 ml travel size. I’m so glad I did it. This stuff smells so amazing. The opening is 7.5 but the dry down is a 9.5. I have Tobacco Vanille, Ebene Fume, Soleil Blanc, Ombre Leather, Black Orchid, Soleil Brulant, F**king Fabulous, Oud Wood, and Soleil Neige. Bitter Peach is in the top three for me.
panna_hanna
My favourite perfume ever! It’s very unique and it’s my signature scent.
I’m not sure if anyone remember Yves Rocher brand-they used to do perfumes called Ode à L'Amour. Bitter peach remind me those perfumes so much. Completely different notes but to me smell so much alike !
I can’t get over this perfume. It’s definitely mature smell
Doeyez72
Okay , I love this. I don't just like it I love it. I wanted to not like it because when it first came out the reviews were so shorty. Glad I follow my own nose. I only have a travel spray but honestly I have 150 niche and high end designer fragrances and I would not want to be without this, even if just a travel size. This Bitter Bish stays!!!
cheringer
I couldn’t decide whether I love this or not. It’s definitely an interesting perfume, not boring at all. It isn’t a blind buy though. As the name suggests, it isn’t a sweet candy-like peach, but a bitter, boozy fruit smell. I have the feeling I have smelled this before, it’s familiar. I like it, but not sure I would buy a full bottle considering the price.
Enrium
Bitter Peach is pretty much what it says on the tin: a boozy peach scent, more reminiscent of peaches in baked goods rather than the fresh, juicy fruit itself. I'm not the biggest fan of peach perfumes, but this one is impressive - an unusual peach scent that lacks sweetness but is very smooth and nicely composed, rounded out by complementary notes and featuring a nice amber drydown.
BP is peachy from initial spray, reminiscent of peach tart, with a booziness in the background. Some orange enhances the fruitiness while adding freshness. It resembles apricot jam as it develops, smooth and slightly sweet. I get an almond undertone thanks to the heliotrope.
As it develops, it becomes balsamic and soft woody notes add depth. Some dirty patchouli adds earthiness, but the sweet amber accord dominates the drydown, enhanced by smooth vanilla. The peach lasts, suede-like and smooth, until final fade. Sillage and longevity are moderate.
Feminine-leaning in my opinion, BP is an unusual, creative take on a peach scent that is much better than the overpriced peach schnapps I expected. Wonderfully smooth and not too syrupy, this is one of the better peach scents I've tried. Transeasonal, but perhaps best worn in autumn/winter. 4/5.

A brief bit of background before we get into the scent. In Prague with my wife, we dip into a perfumery as she wants to check out something. I’m used to this being a relatively long process so gravitate over to the TF counter. The wife just bought a Killian bamboo (very nice) and I’m looking at the private blends. Just for fun, I pick up the bitter peach (it’s a hot day) expecting it to be very feminine and not for me. To start with I’m going to offer this advice. There’s a lot of noise about this fragrance, so you need to put all that to the side and just try it on your skin.
First spritz: a really intense hit of bitter peach and orange. Very nice on a warm summer evening. Fun. And I liked it a lot. But having made quick decisions before and regretted as things dry down (and given the price point), I let my wife smell it (she really liked it on me) and we went to have a drink and a walk.
This is where things got interesting. I sniffed my arm intermittently. And I liked it even more. After a good 2 hours my wife is noticing during aperitif that I’m sniffing and smiling. A lot.
The dry down on this is what makes it. You are left with that peachiness but it develops into a woody, faintly floral and slightly amber skin scent. It’s morning here and I just smelled my arm again. It’s still there, faint but really, genuinely very, very good.
To me this is perfectly unisex, and I would argue that the Drydown makes it lean more masculine.
And it’s fun. It’s really fun. It makes me smile. And it’s been a long time since I smelled my arm and smiled repeatedly.
Is it worth the price point. As I said to my wife: “That b@stard Ford has done it again”, he makes perfumes that I consistently reach for, that challenge and make me smile, and that I really enjoy smelling on me. They happen to be expensive. Which is clearly a pisser.
I don’t know what made me reach for the bitter peach, maybe just a whim, the colour, the heat, the fact that I’m quite partial to a peach ice-tea, but I’m very glad I did.
I went back and bought a bottle, luckily my wife had a discount of 15% which helped a bit.
I’ll leave it here: try it, all of our skin chemistries are different, and some of love smells and tastes that others don’t, are indifferent about or find repulsive.
I find value judgements about the TF brand largely irrelevant to the conversation, was it better before, has it sold out? Honestly my dear fragrance lovers, who cares?
What I care about is smelling nice and fragrances that lift, make me happy and that I enjoy wearing. Bitter peach is now part of that roster.
ginandrice
If this were a quarter of the price, I would be into it. It’s the olfactory equivalent of eating a peach-flavored Jelly Belly. It’s peach, through and through; distilled, sugary, and with a peach-fuzz vibe that’s most likely conveyed by the sandalwood and cashmeran.
The trouble, for me, is that no matter how many notes are in this, all I really get is PEACH. It smells youthful, juicy, sweet, and sort of playful. Which would be fine, if this were a $90 fragrance, but for Tom Ford prices, I want complexity and depth, not a one-note bit of fun.
I will say, I love Angel, and this smells almost nothing like Angel to me. At leas not the EDP. It may have just a little resemblance to the Angel EDT. The peach here is juicy&sweet&tangy in a way that is broadly similar to the juicy&sweet&tangy of red berries, praline, and vanilla in Angel EDT's opening. But Angel EDT is much funkier and more gourmandish than BP’s overwhelming juicy peach note.

My Bitter Peach arrived from Nordstrom New York City, and I am in LOVE!! I have 8-9 Tom Ford scents (my favs are Tobacco Vanille, Lost Cherry and Noir de Noir) and I am quite sure Bitter Peach will be in my top 3-4 fav scents.
Initial spray is strong and V E R Y peachy, almost peach rings candy peachy (good thing I happen to absolutely love peach rings ;) ) While the peach scent is very strong and almost realistic and very sweet, it is not a juvenile sweet.
Within 10-15 mins, the very strong and sweet peach candy note softens, and like magic...Bitter Peach warms up, softens and woody and balsamic notes take the wheel.
I was so nervous after that Fragrantica writer bashed Bitter Peach, and maybe it was done because of the stupid high price (yes, it is overpriced), but Bitter Peach is magical. I cannot stop smelling my arm. 1-2 sprays on my arm, and 4 hours later...it has softened but is still very there and smells even better.
Nraveles
So I just got a bottle today and sprayed it on a small spot on my arm. The first initial spray was decently harsh, could throw some people off. It lives up to the “bitter” in the name, but definitely isn’t horrendous, I actually enjoyed it. The main thing you smell is definitely peach, obviously. It’s very very realistic which is kinda crazy? It isn’t your typical syrupy or overly sweet peach, it’s like a peach you just picked, juicy, fragrant, and just perfectly ripe. I literally just smell a very juicy peach in this, and I’m not the biggest peach fan with fragrances.
As it dries down, you get a bit of extra freshness which is really nice. The sandalwood comes in for a good creamy bit of richness to it. I still think the craziest thing is how the peach actually stays the entire time. Usually a peach note would just kinda fly away after the first 15-20 minutes at most but it’s there the entire time.
I can say I thoroughly enjoy this. Performance is way better than Lost Cherry, and isn’t as thick or syrupy. It’s a lot more fresh and bright. This is a perfect summer or early fall fragrance. The only thing that keeps me from fully recommending is the price, but if you can get your hands on it, you won’t be disappointed. I absolutely love it.

Well, I just spritzed 1 Spray on my wrist today afternoon so let me give you a small review. The opening is slightly harsh - reminded me a lil of Thierry Muglers Angel, but that period didn’t last Very long. After that the peach is Very noticeable with some sharpness coming through - in this phase it’s Very intense, sweet and sharp - this lasts like an hour/hour and a half. Then its starting to get smoother and super fruity (i can smell peach and mango - Even tho it isnt there) which lasts the most time. It was just 1 spritz and I could smell it all day around me Even tho i wasnt smelling my wrist, so longevity and sillage is pretty good. Leans more feminine in my opinion. Overall it is a good fragrance and in my opinion a good adition to the line because its completely different than the other private blends.
BirkinSmell
The amount of people who still get on their knees for this brand no matter what they release is pathetic. This is not Mr. Tom Ford releasing these incredibly overpriced embarrassingly cringey fragrances, it is Estee Lauder. The same people who released those Sephora-exclusive Kilians with names fit for an angsty 13 year old. $400 after tax for 50 ml of this fragrance is downright unacceptable. Go buy Coromandel pure perfume or a Louis Vuitton or Roja Dove fragrance. Estee Lauder has completely slaughtered the brand Tom Ford.
Jay67
Tested this yesterday in Selfridges and to be perfectly honest, it confused the hell out of me. I’m kind of not surprised at TF/Lauder releasing another of these “fruit”/sweet frags; it seems to be the way they are going now but for me personally, with 8 or so Private Blends in my collection, I can’t see me buying many more if they carry on down this road.
One big piece of advice I would have when you try this; make sure you test on skin AND paper because they truly are two completely different experiences! On paper, you get an very sweet peach, almost like a confectioners peach to the nose or a cocktail peach purée but on skin, the name, Bitter Peach, truly does apply: polar opposites! I honestly wasn’t keen on the heliotrope - orange combo in the opening and was scratching my head over the cashmeran in the base..... just couldn’t work out why you would?! Also for me, the Davana in the mid is far too screechy & the boozy notes don’t seem to offer up much to temper that; I barely knew they were there at all.
So, it’s a mild dislike from me I’m afraid. Estée Lauder seem to be buying up a lot of niche/private line frags that once held a vaunted place in the community and reformulating the hell out of them or putting out such mediocre releases that I really do question where they’re going with it and at the same time, discontinuing loved and respected ones. I just don’t get it I’m afraid!

Bitter Peach: you've just guzzled down too many sugary alcoholic drinks and had a pack of Sour Patch Kids, then vomited the mixture on the floor. Voilà! This is not a delicate peach or 'light' scent even with just a single spritz application. Wear it if you want to nauseate everyone in your vicinity.
tandem_4x4
It arrived to Australian David Jones today. I did not expect anything groundbreaking after Rose Prick, which I find rather ordinary rose perfume.
Bitter Peach is not ordinary, for sure. However it performs very strange:
- First 30 seconds is it like Yvresse by YSL - brewed peach.
- Then it turns to something extremely bitter, which no peach at all - lets call it "bitter almond". The "bitter almond" stays for about 5 minute.
- After that it becomes bottom notes of vintage Angel - patchouli with no sweetness but with what we call "chocolate" in perfumery. And again: with no traces of peach or bitterness. This stays for another 5 minutes.
- And following it the smell turns to the Angel base with cat pee on top. It is for 10 minutes.
- Finally all this cacophony becomes a very quiet generic perfume, sitting so close to the skin that no-one can feel it at all.
I generally like almost all perfumes, and even appreciate those I hate. But I really can not appreciate perfumes without DNAs. This one fall apart to at least 5 different scents and does it pretty quickly. Also longevity and projection are very poor. Not sure if I am ready to pay AU$480 for something like this. Preempting some thoughts: I can afford it and have ~500 bottles of perfumes, including most of Tom Ford. This one does not appeal to me.
What I really appreciate - the idea. If this fragrance was blended well, it would be to die for. And no ambroxan - these days it deserves the special prize. Probably (read) TF (think) Estee Lauder can properly blend it. Then I will be running to the David Jones to grab it and wear it. Although, who cares, TF sells like hotdogs whatever you put in the bottle.
PS: Also seems some reviews below are from people who were not wearing the fragrance and likely only tried it on the blotter or from the bottle. I would summarize reviews below:
- those who like it and say "peach" likely did not see the development of the fragrance while wearing.
- those who said "Angel" were actually wearing the fragrance and understand the whole performance.
Therefore, those who read it - do not blind buy: test it first and test it properly on the skin. Make your judgement after 1 hour of wearing.
EDIT: i tried it today when weather is getting colder in Australia. The good news: composition does not fall apart anymore. The bad news: it is a bitter cat pee now. Shall I call it "Bitter Pee"? I will try it again in about 3 months. Still trying to find the beauty in this fragrance.

I really wanted to like this. I forever stan Body Shop Fuzzy Peach from the 90s, so I was hoping this fragrance would be a bitchin' peach scent for me. It's not. I'm not entirely opposed to the opening notes of peach gummy rings, but there's this weird powdery dry down on me that just smells...cloying. Saccharine. Not entirely synthetic but an odd combination of notes that just don't really sing on my skin. Too powdery, too boozy, and kinda skanky, but not in a good way. Is it the labdanum that's giving me these Pampers vibe? Is it the davana that just smells...off? I'd love to know!
