Noir Extreme by Tom Ford is a Amber Woody fragrance for men. Noir Extreme was launched in 2015. The nose behind this fragrance is Sonia Constant. Top notes are Cardamom, Nutmeg, Saffron, Mandarin Orange and Neroli; middle notes are Kulfi, Rose, Mastic or Lentisque, Orange Blossom and Jasmine; base notes are Vanilla, Amber, Woody Notes and Sandalwood.

Tom Ford launched Tom Ford Noir Eau de Parfum in 2012, followed by Tom Ford Noir Eau de Toilette in November 2013. In May 2015, he prepared a new version of the fragrance called Tom Ford Noir Extreme.

“Tom Ford Noir Extreme reveals a new dimension of the Noir man. An amber drenched, woody oriental fragrance with a tantalizing and delectable heart, Noir Extreme captures the aspect of the man that relishes in immoderation and dares to be extraordinary. "

The composition opens with a blend of fresh citruses and warm spicy notes. There are mandarin oil, neroli, saffron, cardamom and nutmeg at the beginning. Its heart contains accord of Indian kulfi dessert, traditionally made of Himalayan snow and pistachio, transmitted with mastic accord. A bouquet of rose absolute, jasmine and orange blossom is also placed in the heart. Hot amber in the base is subtly balanced with woody accords of sandalwood and milky- sweet vanilla.

The face of the campaign is Tom Ford himself. Available as 50 and 100 Eau de Parfum.

عطر رائع، لكنه من شركة تدعم الاحتلال الاسرائيلي لفلسطين المسلمة، ولذلك لن أدفع أموالي لمن بقتل إخوتي المسلمين

captainAveB

My wife calls this "Sex in a bottle" and I can see why. Very strong and addictive smell, a memorable taste will make the people around you remember you by just smelling this perfume. This is a real definition of a manly perfume.

ali_minaj

ughh i love how it smells thats why i bought it but now i realise that this perfume gives me Headache

mumenlara

I can only detect notes of cardamom, kulfi, vanilla, and a hint of floral, with amber anchoring the base.

I genuinely adore the scent, but regrettably, its performance falls short.

I'd rate it 8/10 for its fragrance, but it's not worth investing in a full bottle at its regular price if I have to apply it eight times just to catch a whiff of it after 2 hours.

Scroub

I don't like this. It has that kind of dark edge and spice, and some ingredients makes it look like a distant cousin of Egoiste. However, Egoiste wins hands down to my nose. This feels too heavy.

LeSmeller

TLDR: This smells like a damp, spicy cake. Dark, soft, indistinct body, sweet and slightly sour, with a spicy top. Not really warm.

Noir Extreme is apparently one of the best TF perfumes, and I liked Noir de Noir very much, so I wanted to try this, even though I knew I wouldn't like it because of the cardamom (which I generally hate). And indeed I don't like it. Maybe it's cardamom coloring my perception, but I find this fragrance rather mediocre. Now not to be overly critical, if you like cardamom, it's a smooth, chill, and discreet scent.

The body is sweet and sour gourmand, in the style of the base Stronger With You. The scent also seems to follow Ropion's recipe for making perfumes: a unisex body with a spicy top, like in La Nuit de l'Homme. I find both of these unappealing, with so many better alternatvies.

If you want heavy sweet spicy, it makes perfect sense to pick up an Arabian scent, they specialize in this category. Personally I'd get something like Zimaya Sharaf Blend, admittedly rougher, but for a tenth of the price of Noir Extreme, with way better performance, and without the cardamom.

The most unique designer fragrance. It's in it's own category and I can't find anything that smells like it.
It's quite heavy though so wouldn't wear it to the office, but great for dates and going out. Price has gone up during the years, but I would still say it's worth it as the performance is really good on my skin.

smerfragrance

Not for me -- it smells like a bank. Cleaning products. Dusty church. The saffron is admittedly quite nice but I don’t think this scent works on me.

However? On my girlfriend? Incredible.
Smells like a bemused beauty in a hotel bar drinking scotch and looking for trouble/solace.

doodoomizer

gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous scent, i can't stop taking wiffs of it. It's so delicious and sexy, i love it.

Tulsa

This fragrance has a really good blend of spices and paired with a hint of vanilla in the background really brings it together sits quite close to skin does not have the best projection but not a bad projection and the longevity is on the other hand really good lasts on my skin at least 8 hours this personally is one of my favourite Tom ford fragrances this is easily a 9 or a 10 out of 10.

whatare3

Lovely scent and very unisex. In the dry down it was giving fancy hotel. The scent is intimate and does not last long.

JSEspañol

Very warm melted like vanilla, smoky and Woody. Amazing smell probably a 9-10/10 for me. Worth it.

JeremyCocaine

what is up guys jeremy kokain here my gott thiz smell is FANTASTISCH

Bizzy1995

Big cardamom note with a soft mandrian orange note in the opening. As it dries the saffron pops through with rose and orange blossom. Warm ambery vanilla is present rounded out with creamy sandalwood. This is a great sweet, gormound leaning fragrance

Amirflute

Noir Extreme opens up with a burst of invigorating cardamom and mandarin balanced with the warmth of saffron and nutmeg. As the fragrance warms up on your skin, the creamy, yet slightly powdery kulfi comes to the fore. Imagine an addicting and rich South Asian ice cream flavored with saffron, nuts, and floral essences of Rose, Jasmine, and Orange Blossom. Noir Extreme dries down to a cozy and sensual vanillic, ambery, sandalwood base that draws people in closer while maintaining an air of mystery. This fragrance is for anyone who loves amber gourmand fragrances with a quirky twist.

I quite like this fragrance, it's really sexy and addicting like a lot of people have mentioned before me. It's also quite complex; however, I personally think this is a safe blind buy if you're not looking for a "beast mode" fragrance that lasts 8 hours. That being said, the performance is a B and I do think there are quite a few fragrances on the market at a lower price point that could probably scratch the same itch.

aidan_fragrance

there’s something so addicting about the opening of this fragrance, there’s a bitter nutty smell that jabs out at you (the nutmeg maybe) with the subtle sweetness in the background. smells so nice.
as it dries down this note fades and it just becomes a nice sweet scent. wish this performed better though :(

Kaxq

Smells so delicious until you see the price tag. Still delicious, but you end up savouring the scent a little too much. Odyssey Homme by Armaf is a decent alternative but of course the real deal will always be better. 10/10.

Meredithe

Smooth, spicy, aromatic. Unisex.

I usually layer it with Noir Pour Femme because Noir Extreme is a little bit sweeter and stronger on my skin but I don't mind using it alone. Plus the Kulfi note - maybe not groundbreaking but definitely interesting.

It's not "sweet", it's gourmand'ish.

shohruhnorqulov08

I don't like sweet scents, vanilla notes in general. But here it goes well with spices. An excellent perfume for autumn and winter. Definitely unisex.

8/10

Zac. frags

creamy and sweet, absolutely amazing, but wish this lasted longer and had better sillage.

felixxy

Beautiful fragrance, the longevity is eh but the sillage is bad. After 2-3 hours even myself can hardly detect it.

TWN2RBO

I’m not one of those people who think they have to describe every single note to people, that’s not how the art of perfumery works. I will say, I smell a gorgeous cardamom that wraps itself around a dark rose, with vanilla, sandalwood, amber base. All the other notes make accords of something that cannot be described, other than luxury, elegance, and sophistication.. It’s pure art. Out of my 10 private blends, I find myself reaching for this year around. Esp if I’m in the mood to flirt with women. They love it. This honestly belongs in the private blend collection. I don’t see this fragrance going anywhere, it’s probably his most sold fragrance from the house. Performance is great, 2022 batch. I get an easy 10 hrs and when the skin warms up, it will project good, even 7 hours later. This fragrance projects hard for the first hour , then it tames down, which is good because this one can be cloying in the humid heat. 10/10 for me

HeisenBooth

10/10 other than performance

SweetPeaPea

This was love at first sniff for me. Bought it retail on the spot. A sweet yet classy scent for the winter. Will always have a bottle in my collection. Performance could be better, but the scent is worth it to me. I'll just decant and respray. Now I need to try the parfum.

foundri

so sweet but so dark? so inviting but so mysterious? so spicy but so smooth? 10/10 best designer of all time

Whew

Warm, feminine (still unisex), a bit sharp and so well balanced. Would wear. 8/10

XiDeR_FRG

My first ever fragrance from Tom Ford. It caught my attention when I tried it first; it was a complex scent that was different from other winter fragrances. It smells nice, sweet, and a bit spicy, something I could keep smelling because of how complex and nice it is. But it did come with some cons; the atomizer is wack, doesn't fully spray, is hard to press (could be mine), and has mediocre performance. I'm glad I grabbed this on sale before it got more expensive; I recommend getting the Parfum version.

VilianM.

Absolutely gorgeous scent, didn't like it the first time I tried it, but then it grew on me and now I don't think I could find another such amazing fragrance... in love with it! Longevity - 8 hours, projection - mid.

aakaashrio15

this is so good. it has a very nice gourmand scent and you can just not go wrong with this on date nights. only disappointment for me is the longevity and projection. other than that this is a 10/10

Donrenato

Michelminajj

What is the longevity like on this one guys, be honest, I love the smell.

blackjack3

Smells like a darker, more eloquent gourmand. I love the kulfi note in this.

JuicyFragrance

This has two completely different personalities:

1. The opening is reminiscent of Spicebomb Extreme but with more complexity and depth. It is very alluring and sophisticated. 10/10

2. After 30-60 minutes the spice fades and it becomes very sweet and creamy like a batch of sugar cookies in the oven. More in the direction of something like Le Male Elixir, just not as good in my opinion The second phase still smells great, but is not all that unique or exciting to me, and it's much less masculine.

If this could maintain the spicy complex character of the opening I would buy it in a heartbeat. However, the sweet dry down makes it a pass for me.

Traixy

The performance for this cologne isn't the best but the longevity is definitely there, lasts around 8 hours but gets pretty weak. It smells really good and its very unique.
10/10 scent
8/10 longevity
7/10 performance
After wearing it out with some friends I got some compliments and also one of my friends is now going to buy it

humanchild

The performance and longevity of this one is too weak for the winter, but you can most probably still wear it during that season. Besides that, this is one beautifully done amazing and unique scent. I just love it!

Scent: 10/10
Longevity: 7/10
Performance: 6/10

Wabdo_7

to sum this up, this smells amazing its unique but not for people who dont like overly sweet frags. In terms of performance, its not the best. I honestly wish this had better performance

frankcoelho

With fragrances being quite situational for me, I really have to force myself to come back to a fragrance I either just wore a few days ago or even "out of its occasion."
TF Noir Extreme is one that fits in a similar category with The One EDP and MMM Jazz Club - these being my "sick-day" and cozy fragrances. Though not listed, I feel a tobacco-like comfort in the Tom Ford fragrance, so I love wearing it to lounge around the house, as well as going to bed with a fragrance on, JUST like @joiescent mentioned.

Tried this a few months ago and definitely knew it had to be my first TF, as well as being the last one I buy (probably) - Noir Extreme Parfum was in discussion, but the intimate experience I get with the EDP is unbeatable. Embracing cardamom, which I really don't find sensuality in - I don't feel sexy, but inviting, like a comforting and hugging aura.
Smells very different and not redundant with anything I've ever smelled - it does, however, resemble the experience I get from Herod by PDM: not similar smells, but I feel pressed that one replaces the other in how and where I'd wear them.
Beautiful opening with a smooth dry-down. Very easy to wear year-round, keeping it away from the heat, just for (like I said previously) situational awareness. Nothing that boosts my energy, so rather one that gets me relaxed, which is not what I look for in warmer days, having fun.

Got my 100ml bottle for right around $108 and, though I don't see myself finishing that bottle, I will get some good wear out of it.

HappyLucky

you meant bougie..?
:-)

joiescent

Absolutely lovely notes. So well blended, warm and even cozy. It is so silent, I absolutely do not understand how such a rich parfum may lack performance.
Very quickly becomes a skin scent within an hour of application and has weak projection and silliage.

I started to only apply this after a late-night shower as it puts me to the deepest sleep, just lika a beautiful lullaby.

Can be safely blind bought, EVERYONE will love it. Just do not expect beast mode performance.

Rob321x

Not a fan of Tom ford frags what so ever, but this one hits different. Not crazy expensive like other TF frags. And smells amazing!

kasherquon

pretty good w ass projection
a lil too sweet 4 me personally

StringerSmell

Might be the greatest fragrance in the world if it projected more.

dantek121

It is a fantastic perfume but Noir Extreme Parfum has made this nearly obsolete. This smells thin and almost watery in comparison to the parfum flanker. Have owned both and worn both too many times to count.

E85

It is truly a shame how poor the preformance on this stuff is because it is AMAZING.
Opening beautiful saffron with a little citrus, amazing creamy vanilla dry down backed by just the perfect amount of powderiness from the florals. But, the preformance sucks. wear this when you know your probably get laid cuz projection sucks but shell love it LOL.
10/10 smell very impressive for a designer fragrance
3/10 preformance

gorin

This stuff is weak
Really weak
The scent is only okay (compared to the parfum)

Pathetic sillage and performance
Extremely overpriced
The parfum is miles better than this

5/10

Demons run

Very disappointed.
Not that it smells bad. Quite the opposite, it smells wonderful.
My issue is with how weak it is. At best, after taking a bath in it, you may be able to smell it past 2 feet away. But even then, it's pretty undetectable in 2 hours, requiring multiple reapplication if you're out for a night.
Sadly I'd say it's not worth the money.

whiffthis

This smells so cloyingly feminine, it's ridiculous. It reminds me of one the 80's fragrances women wore that were heavy and thick and choked people out inside a car. This is just that DNA modernized. The drydown is strictly feminine.

Fragrantica for me is fairly accurate in it's ratings but for this one, it is so far off in every regard.

br2307

One of the best spice fragrances out there.
So sexy.
Cant stop smelling it when a wear it.
My favorite perfume. 10/10

ChickenTacos79

Beautiful opening, but a sort of mundane dry down on this one. Reminds me a little of a contemporary version of Calvin Klein's Obsession for Men, only without the musky notes.

SaraZigova

For me ? NO
For my hubby? Hell yes👍🏽

stapanu

Great spicy formal fragrance for more formal events! Love it with all my heart & can't wait to get another bottle once I regain my luck in slots...

Darcy6249$

Tom Ford Noir Extreme is sweet and spicy! I wish it was more pronounced because I enjoy the complexity. It wears like a skin scent.

Smellsogood85

Love this fragrance what a smooth finish. I bought this for my husband and he says he likes it but continues to use black and velvet orchid. He said this fragrance feels to formal for every day. So who knows? But it is delicious 🤤

Lihaliemikuutio

Very unique, long lasting and great smelling fragrance! Can be worn as an everyday/signature scent since its not annoyingly loud but not a skin scent either.

ilovefragrancesmorethanme

This was love at first sniff for me like a lot of other tom fords. This opens up with a beautiful soft spiciness and floral ness I get a lot of nutmeg and rose to my nose and it works beautifully it grabs your attention the moment you spray it. And as it dries down it transforms into this alluring, soft spicy scent with that kulfi and vanilla which gives it that sweetness and creaminess to balance out those spices perfectly. This is just pure gourmand you’ll wanna eat yourself while wearing this. Its so incredibly smooth and well blended to the point where it’s perfectly unisex. this is inviting, cosy and just straight up elegance. On my skin I get around 7 hours longevity with a mild projection. And honestly for this fragrance I think that’s perfect. It’s this cosy, soft, eloquent gourmand that’s meant to be discovered not shoved into other peoples faces. I think we’re all too obsessed with fragrances being beastmode tbh but the way this scent comes across i wouldn’t want it any other way.

Overall I’d easily give this a 10/10 a perfect gourmand which’ll have you addicted. Pricing is also good, if you look in the right places you’ll find great deals on it.

Stelcon

I still prefer this over the parfum. It's creamier and more well balanced.

Sanaahm

Perfectly unisex! It’s been a love and will always be in my collection! Creamy, spicy, vanilla with nice woody undertone…. delicious! Literally a masterpiece!

Nakilll

Love it! Perfect warming sweet fragrance for winter.

EmadJw

I don't usually write fragrance reviews but I just sprayed this on and I had to do one for a reason.
the reason is because this fragrance smells fantastic, but always smells different! one week I will spray it on and it will smell like a lovely creamy fragrance, the next week it will smell mostly of sandalwood, the week after that it will smell of chocolate, it weird and I thought I was the only one who thought this, but even people around me who ask me what fragrance I have on I tell them its noir extreme and they always say, oh it smells differently on you since last time they saw me.
here are the stages that it went through, 1. it was creamy, 2. lots of sandalwood, 3. spicy nutmeg and saffron dominating the fragrance from opening to dry down till its gone, 4. today it smells of chocolate stuffed with either cherry or strawberry cream.
it smells fantastic in all of these stages and it lasts a long time on my skin, but projection isn't the greatest!
it's one of my favorites in my collection honestly, glad I got a 150ml bottle and I think I will get another one after I finish this one!

TWN2RBO

I use to own Noir Pour Femme, it was very similar to this composition, just a little sweeter and deeper. I stopped by Saks to spray Noir Extreme on one hand and Noir Extreme Parfum on the other. My conclusion is I will be buying this one over the Parfum. The openings are quite different from each other. The new Parfum has more spice / incense with the original dna in the background. The dry down they start to become a little more similar but the Parfum has more masculine facets. They are definitely different enough to warrant a purchase. The Parfum left more of a shiny spot on my hand and it was there longer than the original, but the longevity/ projection of the orig are just as good if not better. Remember people, the oil concentration doesn’t distract longevity and projection, the notes do. I love the original though. It’s so sexy, classy, and distinctive. It smells like a much more expensive fragrance than what it really is. Women will love the OG much more.

yahellllll

Sampled it and it lasted all day. I'm not sure how to describe the notes but it smells like Insurrection II wild but stronger vanilla and added woodyness. but its pretty strong and lasted a good amount of time

NDeed

2 quick stories....

Wore this today, about 30 min after application, walked by somebody who said loud enough to their friend, "He smells really good."

Was teaching at a school this winter, last period of the day, 8hrs after application, the first person who walked in said, "It smells good in here."

The initial 2hrs, this pushes nice, but to my surprise leaves a much longer trail than what I realized. This is a cold-season staple in my rotation. I'm a fan of most TF fragrances.

muriou

Kulfi with a drizzle of thick, dark, and somewhat bitter molasses, topped with pistachios and slivered almonds. It behaves composed and astute despite its' airy warmth which does lean a little bit towards gourmand, but it never crosses that line. Just bear in mind that as it approaches the drydown, the sweetness may become more cloying and ambrosial for some. Nonetheless, I would say it is universally unisex. Exquisitely crafted masterpiece.

Jonathan09

When i first smelled my first impression was that it smelled weird but aftrr i tested it half a year later i really love this fragrance. it its a dark sweet fragrance and the kulfi makes it very interesting. In the opening its a little more spicy and has very light Citrusses.

It lasts more than 12 hours on my skin as i applied it at 20 and i could still smell it when i woke up. The projection is medium for the first 4 hours after that it becomes a skin scent

Grefvinnan

I was finishing up some work sitting in my favourite hotel bar one evening, this guy walked by behind me and he smelled incredible. Damn near snapped my own neck turning around. Asked him what he was wearing and it was Noir Extreme.

Chericherilady

Extremely masculine, smoky old school scent, but it is extremely underwhelming for the price. I see this fragrance everywhere and it's marketed as basically the ultimate beast fragrance, but the projection is confusing, as the top note is very strong, so if you spray more than 3, then for the first hour or 2 it will be way too loud, but then basically dries down to nothing but smoke, 5 sprays will make a perfect dry down, but 2 sprays for the perfect top notes.

International

Intially did not enjoy it as much as I thought, but it grew on me as I wore it more and now it's one of my all time favorite gourmand, sweet fragrances.

Truly unique as well, definitely worth trying if you want something sweet and gourmand without going the generic vanilla, coumarin route that most designer fragrances lean towards these days.

Smells alluring and sophisticated, Almost perfection. Slightly masculine, but overall a unisex scent profile. Just be warned you will get stopped by people asking what you are wearing, nothing really smells like this.

9/10

H4jdm

This can be very sweet and the kulfi note is really in your face. I can’t say I am a fan, I did blind buy it last year. Don’t really use it often, it’s not a good projector, it’s definitely long lasting but you’ll probably only be smelt close up.

Longevity 8/10
Projection 5/10
Overall Performance 7/10
Price Value - Could be cheaper, best to get on discounters don’t pay £150 for this.
I did pay £100 at the time during Black Friday.

Melbyface

I had someone that walked past me stop dead in their tracks to compliment me on this fragrance 10 hours after I sprayed it. Many people say the longevity isn't there, but that has not been my experience.
The smell itself is absolutely wonderful. So sweet while still leaning masculine.

Alver

For me this has terrible longevity, I don’t know if it is only on my skin but it last me only a couple of hours. Not even enough for a school day. Love the scent, would be so much better if it lasts longer.

Pritsprits

Gorgeous perfume,my current favorite.Smells sweet and gourmand without being overwhelmingly sweet. I love how complex and intimate this scent is. This scent makes me think of a wooden barside table, having some sort of sweet alcoholic drink! I can't describe it, definitely atleast try a sample of this

Smellybutgood

Tom Ford Noir Extreme is a beautifully crafted gourmand fragrance with a definite unisex appeal. It captures the essence of a person thriving in excess, daring to be unconventional.

As a fan of sweet and gourmand scents, what sets TFNE apart is its originality. No other perfume I've encountered achieves the exquisite balance of sweetness and spices found in this fragrance. While it caters to those with a sweet-toothed preference, it avoids being overpowering or overly sugary.

A meticulously crafted fragrance that, despite its greatness, doesn't find its way into my daily choices. It lacks that undeniable wow factor for me, but it's undeniably an incredible purchase that I don't regret.

I would describe the scent as sweet, ambery, gourmand-like, kulfi, white floral, and spicy smell with soft woody overtones after it has achieved its complete dry-down.

ColoradoCouloir

Ever take a bite of desert that’s too decadent to finish?
TF NE EDP can feel like that at first, especially when sampling. A bit too spicy, a bit too sweet, a bit too laconic. Maybe it’s the bottle giving an 80’s vibe. Like Crockett and Tubbs wore this driving the iconic Ferrari around Miami.

But the truth is that the wears incredibly well, at least on me. It’s a natural fit for date night but can be worn for multiple occasions. It’s not the most daring, but it’s also not the safest. I picked up my 2nd bottle last month and it feels like the quality is still the same for now.

Performance can be sneaky. First, this benefits from a bit of maceration. A month should do. Second, I’ll stop being able to pickup wafts long before others can. Based on the comments from others I get an easy 8 hours or more, with me being able to notice the scent cloud for the first hour or 2. As I typically wear this in colder weather or at nighttime this never projects too far. Let’s call it a gentleman’s meter before it dries and a royal foot after give or take a few.

I feel lots of folks, men and women, will find they like this after giving it a full wearing. It won’t appeal to everyone, but it’s absolutely decadent for those that do.

kafkaesqueshawty

got a sample of this from sephora a year ago and it gave me an instant headache. let it macerate for a year and it's my new favourite thing... so much sweeter, gentler, deeper and richer. truly gorgeous unisex scent, complex and dark and dessert-like with orange blossom and sandalwood.

This and the discontinued Noir pour Femme are treasures in a bottle. They smell sexy, rich and seductive.

BrilloPadLover

When I first sprayed this, my initial thought was that it's in the same ballpark as Spicebomb Extreme, but without the tobacco note—mostly cardamom and nutmeg in the opening. After an hour or so, it transforms into a more vanilla-milky scent. Sadly, it turns into a skin scent very early on (I tested a newer batch). If the longevity were better, I would totally spend the money on this, especially if I didn't already have Spicebomb Extreme. It's not the same scent, but it scratches the same itch.

THE MILK DESSERT ORIENTAL PERFUME
[short review]

The 7th Avenue is the heart of New York for me. It's lively, colourful, reasonably safe, and if you are in the mood for it, it's a lot of fun. Last year I spent a full week in New York with my wife and my kids, and I must admit that probably we spent half of the time on 7th Avenue or in its neighbourhood. Meals tend to be a lot of fun as well and you may choose to munch in a hundred different places sometimes eating food hard to recognize its origin or background.
On that particular day, my daughter and I decided on a brunch at Dunkin' Donuts. My daughter confessed to me that she was just dying for a "Doce de Leite" doughnut or cake. "Doce de Leite" it's a recipe from Brazil made with caramelized condensed milk that you stuff in doughnuts and cakes, or you just eat it "solo" with a spoon if you are a gourmand person.
"Sorry my love, but you are in the wrong continent for it", said I. "How come you remembered "Doce de Leite" now? If you think you will get it in a Dunkin' Donuts, you are going to be deceived".
"Papi, you smell like "Doce de Leite" all over, so you must have been eating it earlier today. If Dunkin' Donuts is not the place, take me somewhere else".
That morning so far I just had a cup of coffee and an orange juice, so no way I could smell any kind of dessert type... or could I? I just asked her, "Darling, do smell my neck!".
Oh my god... you showered in "Doce de Leite" this morning for sure... ", she said.
Mystery solved! I never had noticed before that Noir Extreme smells like Brazilian "doce de leite"... it does!
"Noir Extreme" opens with sweet and warm spices (mainly saffron and cardamom), evolves into a heart with sweet florals and a dessert note that is very similar to a more oriental "sweet milk" as it seems umbilically linked to the initial notes of cardamom and saffron. That's the heavy note of kulfi, a milk-based Indian dessert.
The bottom reveals a sweet and smooth continuity and is rich in abundant vanilla, as well as amber and sandalwood. It is woody, powdery, ambery, and balsamic and a real joy to wear.
I describe the fragrance as undoubtedly sweet, and deeply oriental, but not at all nauseating. I find it extremely seductive and I include it in a selection of Tom Ford perfumes that I like.

The DZ

I have grown to like this. At first I was let down by a more diluted, watery composition than I was expecting. The bottle, the color, the "extreme" branding--I was anticipating a denser, darker, more forceful experience. But with a few uses I started to appreciate what this is for what it is!

It's spicy, inviting, very warm. And the dry down is the highlight. Kulfi. Beautiful, photorealistic kulfi smell that is light, low fat, delicious, lactonic...very cool.

I just don't reach for it much as I prefer something a bit bolder, but I like it quite a bit.

PearlGarden

I have a few of TF perfumes in my collection and I love them all. However, this was not one for me. I have to admit it- ~
it smells dated. It reminds me of dried prunes and old wood in a museum-but not in a good way. I somehow imagine an old woman wearing this with a long coat back in the 60s.

seldomseen

Blind purchased due to the outstanding price for 100ML I was able to obtain; and due to the mostly positive feedback Noir Extreme had. For reference, my feedback is with a 12/2022 batch.

Noir Extreme smells 95% similar to YSL La Nuit de L'Homme - Bleu Electrique both on skin and in the air. Performance and projection of Noir Extreme is also very similar to Blue Electrique. You'll also notice that Noir Extreme's fragrance quality, and overall composition and wearability are also very similar too. Although, the density of Noir Extreme is a smidge richer/deeper than Bleu Electrique.

Can't say whether or not YSL attempted to create it's own dupe of the Noir series; or if Bleu Electrique's uncannily similarity to Noir Extreme is simply due to it's lineage to La Nuit de L'Homme (OG).

Laservision

I blind bought this thinking I'd be blown away. First time I smelled it reminded me of a cheap deodorant my mom used to wear some 15 years ago. Huge disappointment. And why is it labelled as a men's fragrance. This is obviously too feminine for a man to wear. I'm giving this one to my mom.

0xrafae

I will cherry-pick the best part of this perfume: it's the spicy, cherry vibe Noir Extreme opens with. I cherish it! As a cherry on top - the fragrance has great longevity. I just regret that the bottle is not cherry red.

Livio

Amazing scent, but unfortunately the new formula (ILN49107) has terrible performance.

drewsneak

Fvcking love this scent, just not for me!

I sampled at Sephora and fell in love! It smelled like a juicy orange with a wonderful background so I immediately bought a 100 ml.

First spray did not replicate the sample I smelled at Sephora but I gave it a chance to no avail (not sure if it was reformulated?). Nonetheless, the citrus scent was long gone and all I got was cinnamon and vanilla time after time. Found it hard to wear so I traded for CASEE and that’s all she wrote!

3.5/5
Longevity is trash.
**def a beast during cold weather and date nights!!

ScentManJojo

Fantastic fragrance. 10/10! Just go buy it now and Enjoy!

JustMyVibe

Lots of people in the comments are saying it's their favorite fragrance. Definitely have to agree. It's in my top 5.

I find the projection to be perfect for a date night fragrance. It stays close enough to the skin that it won't overpower your date's senses but strong enough that they'll catch wisps of it when they are close to you.

cheezcake

Hands down the best Tom Ford fragrance for me, sweet, sexy and rich masterpiece. sillage and longevity is monstrous. A perfect date night fragrance. You can only wear this in cool weathers tho.

Myrtillajus

Kulfi is a popular Indian and Middle East traditional ice cream-like dessert.
Milk-based, flavored with saffron and pistachio.
Here this note is reproduced, with a citrus opening and accompanied by spices and flowers notes.
Indeed, you can perceive Indian vibes (I personally feel the pungent aspect of the spices).
The only thing I don't agree with is defining it as masculine: it would look divine on a woman.
Unfortunately I personally wouldn't wear it, it's out of my taste, but it's really well made.

Alexey Fisher

Masterpiece. The best of Tom Ford. Scent 10/10!!! Smells expensive. Dark, mysterious, complex. Cozy, sweet, warm, spicy and slightly citrusy.

monsieur.moustache

Great scent. Smells similar to the parfum but with relatively muted performance. For that reason, I'd opt for the parfum. Still fantastic though.

9/10

ehsankarimidorabi

It smells amazing and I fell in love with it

IanT10

Smells super feminine on my skin. Not a fan at all.

BeerusSama

wow, smells incredible, 10/10

Capibaro

MY CONCLUSION
Good, bad and ugly. This is probably the best scent I ever smelled. A sweet and seductive super gourmand EDP that is male oriented. Delicious. However the performance is really bad. The ultimate compliment getter that no one will ever be able to complement on.

HOW DID I ENCOUNTER THIS SCENT
In a store smelling bottles. Was mesmerized the minute I smelled this.

WHAT DO I SMELL
To me one of the hardest scents to pick apart. It is sweet and I there is vanilla. It smells like a very complex dessert. Diving in there are florals and woods for complexity and depth.

WHEN TO WEAR
To me it is definitely an evening and more formal scent. I think it is too dense for very high temperature situations.

DESIGN AND QUALITY
The bottle is quite simple yet luxurious. No frills and the font fits the bottle. It really fits the scent. Atomizer is above average, but no Chanel quality.

HOW POWERFUL IS IT
There is no power. It smells like a scent that has the potential to be very powerful. The truth is that the projection is limited from the get-go. Longevity is ok, but only as a skin scent. This bottle you buy for yourself, not for the audience. And what a pity that is. They should reformulate this.

VALUE
I find the itself scent so delicious that for me the value is ok. If I would compare the performance / quality to Euro value this would fail.

Poopundertones

Beautiful scent that opens with floral and slightly fruity vanilla that dries down into a more woodsy sweet and is never abrasive from application to finish. Leans slightly on the masculine side but really anyone could wear this stuff. Vanilla stays ahead of the race throughout. Projection isn’t very loud but I can still smell it on my shirt days later. First TF fragrance and now I want to try more good formula here

charlieq08

This is gloriously warm, sweet, powdery and spicy. It hugs you while irradiates. Currently, I'm living in a cold weather country with -10 degrees temperatures, and this gem shines and performs wonderfully, specially by nights. It was expensive, but I regret nothing.

reubendelo

Smells like the guy she wants but instead got you.

samudex

Very well blended smell. It reminds me to JPG Le Male because of the barbershop vibe, but at the same time it has a Gourmand note, like vanilla ice cream with oriental spices. It has some woods, white flowers and even citruses. It's hard to explain.

Slunko

Smells like a yankee candle. Not for me

Deekerr16

This is a weird smell at first, because you probably haven't smelled a fragrance that was "milky" like this. But it's very cool and unique. Despite smelling "milky," everything else exudes class. Tom Fords may be expensive, but this is one of the few that are justified because there isn't really anything around or cheaper that smells like this that I know of (for better or for worse).

toosimilar

Definitely one of the best frags ever
Rich, warm, spicy and delicious <3
Again, who said it's only for men? DDD

Tunzz

Spicy, cardamom, chocolate and honey bomb. Absolutely delicious!

Kenta3737

Hate the opening the blend between nutmeg and cardamom is just not for me, wish the vanilla is more prominent. I would say it is a gourmand fragrance but I personally dislike it. In terms of performance it’s very weak, like many Tom Ford fragrances, but this one seems to be one of the weakest, it projects poorly for the first 30 minutes and after that the sillage and projection becomes nonexistent, and it barely lasts. Also not worth tge price like most Tom Ford

Jrad655

The greatest fragrance I've smelled so far. I've owned dozens and smelled hundreds. Masterpiece!!

almazan3

Perfect sexy date night fragrance! Leaves me feeling confident!

montee

Easy-peasy rich man, suit and tie scent.

Myrtillajus

Kulfi is an ice cream-like dessert popular throughout the Indian subcontinent and the Middle East.
Milk-based, flavored with saffron and pistachio.
Here this note is reproduced, preceded by a citrus opening and accompanied by spices and flowers.
Indeed, you can perceive Indian vibes (I personally feel the pungent aspect of the spices).
The only thing I don't agree with is defining it as masculine: it would look divine on a woman.
Unfortunately I personally wouldn't wear it, it's out of my taste, but it's really well made.

Kevin_lindblad

One of the very best spice fragrances out there.
So fucking sexy.
9,5/10 because of the price, 50 dollars cheeper and it would be a perfect 10/10.
But despite of the somewhat high price i would strongly recommend it.
Cold days in the Fall and winter.
Cant stop smelling it when a wear it.
My favorite perfume.

NecessaryExistence

This is an enjoyable scent, but imo Noir Extrême Parfum is vastly superior. Noir Extrême EDP is less complex, less masculine, and is definitely much weaker than the Parfum. This is a more juvenile version. If I wasn’t comparing the EDP to the Parfum, I would rate the EDP as an 7.5/10. But compared to the Parfum it’s a 6.5/10. The Parfum is a 9.5/10 for me. I would not buy this as an alternative to the Parfum, despite its cheaper price.

Rafrosa

The EDP is a fantastic scent, a beautifully smooth gourmand that combines traditional vanillas/spices with elegant white florals and a Kulfi note, which allow it to stand apart from other gourmands.
Performance is just ok. I get about 6-8 hrs with a solid 1ft projection that lasts for 2-3 hrs. The slightly weaker performance adds to it’s versatility.
While being a great scent, it isnt the most unique. The fact that I recently got a sample of the Parfum may have slightly spoiled my overall experience with this fragrance. The scent/performance of the Parfum is much better overall. The addition of ginger along with suede/leather notes make the scent a more masculine, less sweet, & far more versatile/unique scent. I highly recommend the Parfum over the EDP for these reasons.
EDP - 8.5
Parfum - 10

WiseFrag22

I love this fragrance for a date or just to wear in the fall and winter. It lasts a long time on skin and clothes. If you like sweet and spicy fragrances, I would definitely recommend trying Noir Extreme.

Mhthefragrancelover

Don't waste your time with this sweet spicy water. Just get the parfum. Multiple times I've tested this over the span of a year and a half. The lasting power is absolute shit. Turns into a skin scent in about 2 hours. People won't smell you unless they're hugging you. Sure it smells great, but out of what I own, this is the worst value for what it is. Worth about half the price in my opinion.

Asca Naca

This smells like Spicebomb extreme got away and ran through a flower patch! I can see how many people compare the two because they have similar profiles. Spicebomb leans into the vanilla while Noir Extreme leans into the florals. Both have a warm spicy undertone that would be used in the same kind of settings. There is something that is a lot less harsh with Noir Extreme. While they do go in different directions, owning both may still be a little redundant. Projection is average for the first little bit and I seem to be able to smell if for most of the day. Performance may be a little lacking, but I wouldn't say it is abysmal. If you can find it at a decent price then I would say that it's absolutely worth picking up!

godzeke

Smells lovely like a cardamom dessert, also with some amber in there. But the performance fucking sucks, 30 minutes and it’s more than half gone.

[email protected]

Noir Extreme is a throwback in that it reminds me of the big out of the box swings designers used to take when they put their name on a fragrance. Rich, complex, and somehow both masculine and feminine at the same time. This is a very sensual and sexy scent. La Male parfum if he went away to college, graduated and became an architect. A must have fragrance for all frag heads.

rvanover

It has an amazingly intoxicating scent but terrible longevity and sillage—typical Tom Ford.

SalamahQh

dark gourmand spicy divine.. this is just out of this world and one of my all times favorites

my nose picks up the kulfi and vanilla the most..

davidramos555

Absolute top tier juice. Love at first sniff for me and my girlfriend. Dark, luxurious, gourmand, spicy, sweet, perfection. This is a Tom Ford Masterpiece. Beautifully crafted classy elegance in a bottle. Date night perfection!!!

osum54

Literally a chocolate from a rich box of chocolates, if you love gourmand fragrances then you will love this. Not a blind buy, but definitely worth going and trying it out or buying a decant.

keenan13jpn

Have loved this fragrance since it’s release but recently tried a new batch and it not only struggles with longevity, it smells different! Does anyone know when they reformulated this one over the years?? Is any bottle after 2020 unworthy of purchase?

StacyJames

Got a great deal on a 100 ML. When I sprayed this on my skin it reminded me of something that my sister would wear. I believe it is the jasmine that I was picking up. Just from that scent memory I will always keep this one around. The first Tom Ford I have purchased. R.I.P Sissy!!!

gabriel44

The vanilla in this is amazing so smooth and addicting, and the spices are amazing too but what ruins it for me is the woodiness, it just smells like an old rusty ass plank and im not a big fan of woody scents which ruins it even more 7/10 for me

rach_cain

This is SUCH a sexy scent on a man. It is almost "perfumey" (in the traditional feminine sense) but somehow that makes it an even sexier male scent. It isn't a scent the average man would wear which is why I love it. It smells super expensive, spicy, rich, confident. I always feel like some Italian mobster would wear this in a suit lol Never smelled anything like it before. It's the best.

AlaskanAngel

I adore the opening and mid, but the end game becomes too musky and bitter for my taste as the delicious creaminess fades. At four hours in, I just don't like it anymore, too "traditionally masculine" for my taste. It's a love/hate relationship at this point and I don't have the energy for drama like that.

I decanted a travel spray but have to declutter this full bottle now.

beautyjolic

It smells sooo gourmande to me, like a very naturalistic cherry covered in chocolate. Definitely noir, won't be very suitable for girly girls. The first fragrance with notes of nutmeg and saffron I've ever liked.

California90210

A must have perfume!!

Arly10

Such an amazing winter scent, definitely a bottle I will always have in my collection

Dolce Gabbana Enthusiast

I mainly smelled vanilla and soft sweet spices, and the kulfi note is definitely noticeable. With that said it was good but not mindblowing like how everyone says.

reduvias

amazing scent. 10/10 in my opinion

dissolved_boy

Bought a 1ml sample of this to prepare for autumn/winter and I think I've found my new signature scent! It's warm and cozy, similar to YSL La Nuit de l'Homme. Spicy scent that reminds me Christmas season. It's a nice subtle spice that is rounded out by some floral and citrus notes.

Update: The longevity is disappointing and lasts about 2 hours on my clothes before completely fading away. Can't really be a YSL LNdH replacement for me since it's more expensive and has similar performance

fragfrance

This is perfect scent for night out or date. Bit sharp & sweet for everyday occasion. Fall winter scent.
Opening is bit sharp but dry down is smooth sweet scent.

Rooney10

Special scent with good projection. Lasts 6-8 hours on skin but very potent. I love this what can I say?

hz_111

Got a 1 ml sample. This leans on a much more feminine side with the sweet notes and floral notes combined. For the price, I was hoping for a stronger projection. Overall an 8/10

Update: It’s now a sold 9/10 for me borderline 10/10. After a week with it, it’s much more unisex than feminine. The projection was actually decent as I get occasional whiffs while wearing it with 4 ish sprays and it’s longevity is decent on me around 7-8 hours.

rlgon

Not bad, but too feminine (on my skin at least).
Not impressed overall.
Not a blind buy.

Tomott

Very smooth mixture of amber, vanilla and mild inoffensive spices. Honestly, it could work on most occasions and seasons and is also very unisex (but leans more masculine)
9/10

DichterundDenker

This is really a delicious, sweet dessert. High quality and absolutely comfortable. In addition to the Kulfi, the orange blossoms also dominate here. Depending on the weather, they appear stronger or weaker. The warmer it is, the stronger this perfume smells of orange blossom.

Many only wear it in winter. But I think you can also wear this Tom Ford in spring and autumn.

For me it's the best fragrance by Tom Ford at the moment!

Richmond Twumasi Ankrah

Fa Paris Special Oud is a clone of Tom ford noir extreme.I will never waste my money on this.FPSO is less expensive and has the same scent.

Fortyfree

Honestly one of the nicest smelling things I have ever come across, it's pure deliciousness in a bottle! It's sweet, creamy, rich, oppulent and gourmand.

Performance (off my skin) is great, projects really well, and is a compliment magnet.

Bit pricey but worth it.

Suits men and women alike, better for the colder months.

I would never reccommend that anyone blind buy any fragrance! But with this I almost would...I honestly think it smells that good.

Nailipek

Bvlgari Man in Black ve Costume National Homme ile aynı kokuyor, sadece şişeleri ve markaları farklı

Susanqueen

I LOVE this. I’m a woman. On me, it smells like a matcha latte with maple syrup and cinnamon. It’s unique and smells expensive. It smells like an elegant lady whose husband owns a jazz club. All -seasons. Cinnamon and powder. Love it.

RayCashhhh

"Damn, this is really good". Me moments after applying it. Noire Extreme is Tom Ford's finest fragrance, the epitome of seduction. I agree with artukeiv below me, very smooth, classy, and not in your face. Yet it commands attention like few others can. 10/10

artukeiv

Very well blended, sweet floral scent, smooth, but not really loud/attention grabbing for something with the name "Extreme". The floral body makes it slightly leaning on feminine side.

Psalzarulo

TF never really disappoints or underwhelms. The dark, resinous amber, cardamom and nutmeg dominate the opening for me. The powdery florals and vanilla soften it and complement the sweetness. This is a scent that invites you to close your eyes and imagine a warm, inviting, candle lit room full of potpourri and fall foliage. it's so well blended that you'd really have to go out of your way to overspray. To me, this is a refined version of Nuit D'Issey which, I recently sampled and enjoyed. I'm not going to say that one is better than the other. Nuit D'Issey is bold and evocative whereas this is smooth and welcoming.

8.5/10. It's a fantastic scent. But, for an Extreme version, it does not quite add the WOW factor.

Une Belle Prunelle

A complete masterclass by Madame Constant. This is really unique and interesting. The performance could be better, but the Parfum version smells a lot like this and has way better performance.

acewilson

If an arabian sheik designed his own signature talcum powder, this is what it would smell like. It's creamy powdery wealth in a bottle. Great for evening intimate wearings and chillier weather days. I will always have a bottle of this in my collection. It's a love for me.

Devved

At first spray, it`s mostly cardamom, amber and nutmeg. Afterwards dries down to sweet vanilla and sandalwood. A little bit musky and has an incense/resin? and liquorice feeling at first. This would be wonderful in winter. I think if you like amber and spices, this is a safe buy. Not offensive and subtle. If you like Gucci Guilty intense for women, you would like this. Unisex for sure, don't be deterred from trying it by the " for men" label. Likewise, great perfume for men.

SNKIOP

Fall Winter scent: 8/10 It's great for colder weather, it's warm it's spicy. I get a lot of cardamom. In the dry down it gets a bit more yummy, like you would like to eat it. More vanilla and creamier. It would work really great with a cleaner look. Sillage: 4/10 Longevity 7/10

Smells nice, stands out. Very well blended.

COFFISDEAD

I love this!

COFFISDEAD

Love this!

catcat42

I was expecting something stronger but this is so light on me. It stays but its quiet never loud. Not spicy woody enough but still pleasant. I remember testing and finding it so much gourmand, nuttier, sweeter, spicier but this is very light..Maybe its the new batch that is watered down..This might be the lightest perfume in my wardrobe. But I find it pleasant and wear it all day

Joona_Kekki

Smells edible, like some sort of a creamy coffee

Deddy

What is the color if this juice ?? Is it golden yellow or just white clear?

Andrew_87

One of the standout features of Noir Extreme is its versatility. This fragrance adapts effortlessly to various occasions, making it suitable for both formal and casual settings. Its refined character makes it an excellent choice for business meetings, black-tie events, or romantic evenings. Additionally, it can be comfortably worn during the day, adding a touch of elegance to your everyday routine.

Noir Extreme truly shines during the cooler months. Its warm and inviting composition makes it an ideal fragrance for fall and winter. The combination of spices, woods, and amber creates a cozy and comforting experience that perfectly complements the colder weather. However, its versatility allows it to be worn with confidence in any season.

dhcoalition

My favorite night/date scent. Sweet, creamy, spicy- all perfectly balanced without becoming cloying. Longevity and projection are solid. People can catch traces in the air and will be drawn in to savor the scent.

saltywagonjuggler

My favorite evening scent. Very sweet and spicy yet strikes the balance masterfully. Lasts about 4 hours on skin. Leaves an echo on fabric and furniture. The opening is harsh; the dry down is to die for. 9/10

AnosmiaAnosognosia

Just got this in. $160 bucks from Jomashop 100ml. I always sample it on a strip when I go fragrance shopping/browsing. Couldn't pass it up for that price, although Tom Ford is insane pricing. If you're into sweet fragrances and you want to smell like a millionaire, get you some. I will eventually get the Parfum version as well. This has complexity and smells great! This is pretty easy to find samples, give it a try.

JusttheFactsMan

#105 in my "Tour de Fragrance" of 250 scents in 250 days. I LOVE this scent! Complex, not overwhelming, sexy as hell.

astralmonad870

This smells like liquorice and vanilla to me initially. I will edit my review once my nose matures a bit to the smells, especially of kulfi.

Exoxo

I tried for months to like this fragrance. I just can't get over how this fragrance in particular doesn't work with my DNA. I get the hype, just not meant for me. Headache inducing also.

Nbat7

to me smells like less spicy Spicebomb extreme. I like this one more but projection is very bad off of my skin

Perpetual Collector

@Eds020, you need medication, asap.

scentaddicted

I do not know what Kulfi taste like, but if this cologne is any indication, give me some! This is my third time wearing it since I bought it. The smell is dominated by the spices at the beginning with a hint of citrus. The middle notes of Kulfi last forever! If you like smelling like a dessert to be eaten, then this might be for you. At the end of the middle note period, which last 5 to 6 hours, the sandalwood and vanilla hangs around for another five hours. This cologne lasts longer than anything else I own... Well worth the money!

Smell 5/5
longevity 5/5
Sillage 5/5

PS My bottle was from before the reformulation, which I haven't worn so I cannot comment on performance now.

Apache1830

All I get is cardamom, kulfi, vanilla and a floral note, with amber in the base

I really love it, but unfortunately it's weak !

9/10 for the scent, but not worth a bottle at full price if I have to spray 8 times to smell it 2 hours after

AJPkayla

Creamy kulfi, vanilla, cardamom, rose, saffron, and amber. Plus a half dozen other trace scents adds to the complex myserious goodness. This is a work of art. One of my all time favorites and my favorite fragrances so far.

Niaz Gull

Lovely 🌹🌹

Kaylovely

Watered down! I wouldn't purchase for full price or even 15% off. All the niche/high-end fragrances I've smelled sold in Sephora seem to be watered down. Estee Lauder... Tom Ford, Kilian. Im comparing with old formulas before anyone gets the panty in bunch! I will take the Pour Femme over this anyday! Smells way more creamier and realistic. Last all day and projects crazy vs no projection for Noir Ext.

coooolash

Sexy n seductive for a date night ..

AlaskanAngel

I enjoy the opening and adore the mid but 3-4 hours in it starts turning very musky in a classic men's cologne kind of way that I hate. I wish this was more linear and didn't have such a disappointing finish. The musk just turns bolder and bitter as the sweet creaminess fades and then the whole fragrance tilts too traditionally masculine for my taste.

I have a wonderful unisex collection and this fits in nicely except that I have to remember to wash it off before that long end game kicks in.

Deddy

I can not stand for the opening and the middle notes, but the base note is creamy, ambery and vanilla.luckily i bought decant 3 ml only. I pass this one. Sorry , this is not for me.

The opening just little bit harsh for me.

ryanok21

Sweet masculine scent that is good for fall and winter. If you wear it in the summer make sure to dial back the sprays.

SmoothHomme

Try as I might to understand how this is considered masculine, it just isn't. It is pure vanilla and kulfi. Not spicy, woody, citrusy, but maybe a little floral. But If you want to smell like dessert& hedonistic sugar, Definitely buy this fragrance. 4/10 as even on a woman this is somewhat reminiscent of a bath and body works spray.

Crakeling

Boozy, floral, complex. Lovely. Lasts 8+ hours on me and I can smell it the day after on my clothes. Sillage is moderate (which I like). The dry down smells like clean vanilla. 10/10. Reminds me of Grand Soir by MFK.

liam04

Noir Extreme is an excellent deep, mysterious fragrance. I absolutely adore this fragrances dna & is definitely one of the main stayers at the house of Tom Ford. Cardamom & Kulfi blended together with a floral nature surrounding it. I ordered immediately after I tested in-store.

Definitely leans masculine, Autumn night time date-night sort of scent. This is actually my most complimented fragrance, something I love to reach to on colder days. Type of fragrance that reels someone in you get closer to you to smell you. Longevity is great for me, for a fragrance using ingredients as natural as this, I sprayed on my wrist at 3pm, it is now 11pm and It's still on there just fine after 8 hours. Projection holds up okay, enough for a retail worker to pick it up from behind the counter, been recognized a few times.

Downside is the price. A try before you buy for sure, not everyone will like it. A lot of people here on fragrantica call it an old woman's perfume? Which is odd, fragrantica seems to be the only community to dislike this fragrance.

mehmet95

No matter how much I liked the scent, its performance was a big disappointment for me. I don't want to say too many words and tire myself out, just know that.

Kazic

One of the most frustrating fragrances of all time.

An absolutely beautiful composition, the individual notes are some of my favourites: delicious, natural-smelling and impeccably selected to work together in real harmony. It's well-blended, but not in such a way as to be a blunt wall of smell - the individual notes twinkle in and out of being like distant stars .

Sweetness, tartness, spice and creaminess in such tremendous balance - not just between, but even at interplay within, some of the individual accords: kulfi blends the aromatic character of cardamom with the sweetness of pistachio within a deep, warm embrace of milk. The orange blossom is a dance between the romance of the floral and the sumptuous flesh of the fruit itself, the promise of which is realised with the addition of that note which itself is in lovely equilibrium between sweetness and tartness.

It's an unreal, shimmering vision of a fragrance, exactly what perfumery should be about. But it's also as fleeting and and delicate as that - limited projection beyond the first few golden minutes, barely any sillage, and hardly even a skin scent after just an hour or two. Perhaps that is the way it must be with life's most beautiful things - ephemeral and impermanent - and I ought to cultivate "Mono no aware." It's just rather too costly for that, and I've made a resolution to stop buying perfumes I can't afford... for now

Azmillis

I initially smelt “Tom Ford Noir” on my mum after she was gifted it and immediately loved it. However it was a little too light on me so when the “extreme” version came out I bought it after smelling it in store. I’ve just finished the bottle and I have to say, it’s a beautiful scent, sweet but still deep, however the “extreme” that I was looking for is not there. I used to spray this at least 6 times before going it only to find that an hour later, most traces of it are gone. Very disappointing for such an expensive bottle.

wimdeleer

UPDATE: I put it on again an hour ago and I do indeed need to take back my very positive comment about that strong and long performance !!
but again, from the minute I put it on I felt aroused !!! I really don't know which note causes that but Tom Ford could sell that as Viagra ! haha

PREVIOUS REVIEW:
this one simply equals sex/sensuality for me (cuz to be honest I've been wearing it aloooot of times when I date/have sex)

only downside now is I just can't put it on regularly (to work or to visit my mom for instance hehe) cuz I can only think about something else.

also very surprised about all the reviews that say it doesn't last long, cuz on me it lasts for hours !!
to me it's a really strong scent !

This is a nice fragrance, it’s on a thin tightrope between masculine and unisex but overall I think it’s on the masculine side but a guy thats in touch with his softer side which can be very sexy and appealing to women! I prefer the parfum just for the more intense warm creamy cardamom, cinnamon and nutmeg feeling, would definitely recommend for cuddly nights in ☺️

I tried it because I read that this was unisex and a lot of women really like to wear it. It’s a nice fragrance, I’m normally not that into woody notes, but I like this. It’s still too masculine for me. I wouldn’t wear it myself. I would love this on my fiancé though.

Tested at Sephora. It’s alright. Better on skin than on paper. Don’t think I would spend the money on this Tom Ford frag tho. Creamy floral scent. Surprised it’s marketed to men as it leans very feminine to me. Might buy a decant maybe, we’ll see.

Guys, does someone know when was Noir Extreme edp reformulated?
I love the perfume and I would like to buy it, but the newer batches (just tested a batch from june 2022) are really bad. The scent is so different, somehow herbal and a lot less appealing, plus the performance is pretty bad as well.
Thank you in advance. Cheers

This treads the line of unisex very well. The cardamom is so sexy while the vanilla and floral combos make it so refined and elegant. I completely disagree with this being an “old lady” fragrance. I guess if you have that in mind sure…but I get more of a sexy elegant unique scent for a man or even a woman. It’s all about how you rock it. 10/10

Amir.Fr

Unique, sexy, good sillage and longivity.
Nice choice for date

Sweetboy05

This is similar to Select Night by Mercedes-Benz. They both remind me of egg nog during Christmas.

My mom LOVES this perfume, and she usually doesn't like most perfumes!

Love the scent, smells like class in a bottle. I don't get the old lady vibe...but, if you know any high class older ladies and you wouldn't mind introducing me, I could use a sugar mama, ahem, so anyways, I get the vanilla, the woody notes, definitely seems like there's a tobacco note there. Special event scent for sure, classier venues, maybe a date night fragrance depending on your age. This is a 30+ fragrance, but not going to say it's an old grandma fragrance.

eddiemurphy

It's very good.
Got it for around 70~ dollars, with a gift card.
Batch from Feb 2023.
I think it lasts pretty long. Sprayed some on my clothes, and smelt it days later.
The smell is very nice, and smooth. I'd say it's definitely unisex.
It doesn't have that 'beastmode' projection, but imo 'beastmode' projection wouldn't suite this fragrance anyways.
I would try it, before i buy.

weazul

At first i loved it, but later on I realised it smells way too feminine, definitely better for women IMO
Its obviously very sweet throughout and lasts on clothes forever

smccmurphy

Cozy but not cloying- something I’ve found a bit difficult to balance with spicy scents. I really like it!

A male coworker sprayed this on a piece of paper for me and another female coworker to smell. Not only did we both love it so much, but we also agreed that we wanted to wear it ourselves. The female coworker sprayed it on herself after and I kept leaning over to smell her wrist. To me, this is not a super masculine smell. It does lean masculine, but the sweetness makes it unisex. Normally I do not like incensy fragrances to wear, but there is something very sexy and alluring about this fragrance that not only makes me want to smell it on someone else but wear it myself. It's def a sexy vibe for sure.

Since I only smelled it briefly I do not know if it projects or lasts long...but I do believe it is def worth trying a sample of for both men and women.

one of my top performers . i love this and hate the noir version ...
any other suggestions plzz

Very bold. Classy. Sweet. Less moody than regular Noir.

Definitely masculine, but the rose note can trick people into thinking it’s female. You either like rose or you don’t, so it’ll divide people.

Definitely recommend. It lasts forever on me too.

Ouaise_05

To whoever saying that this has an old lady smell, you know nothing at all, just cause there’s a rose note smh, at this point, stick to your Lacoste and Calvin klein fragrances
This stuff smells expensive and masculine

Definitely 10/10

This is one of my favorite Tom Ford fragrances. Reminds me a lot of Arabian Oud’s Tarteel Silver. You get soft wood notes balance by the vanilla/amber. Should be in everyone’s rotation.

BigLongNose

Tom Ford Noir but instead of being moody and dark it’s delicious

jasongriff123

As far as smells goes, this is, in my opinion, one of the best smelling scents I've ever had the chance to smell. It's such an intriguing scent, there is so much going on, but at the same time it is very well blended. It's spicy, sweet, woody, and has a unique quality that really separates from other fragrances. Super sexy fragrance which my girlfriend refers to as a "Panty dropper". If I were to base a review entirely on the smell it would be very difficult not to give this a 10/10....

...however... after experiencing the orgasmic fragrance at the initial spray, it appears to disappear after a few hours, at least on my skin. I am a chronic over-sprayer, and I've given this 10-15 blasts, and yet still a few hours later I'm struggling to find it. Very intimate fragrance, with little sillage, I would categorise this for date nights, or nice evening meal with the family in a cosy pub. Sadly due to the poor performance 8.5/10

Best Tom Ford fragrance for men in my opinion. Can be a little on the expensive side, but its sweet its dark, bold and classy. You get what you pay for.
