There is definitely an actual laundry detergent note here that is not listed, like in Simply Clean by Clean. Performance is pretty decent but I sold my bottle. There are better violet or mimosa scents out there that actually smell like flowers and not laundry products and I don't mind spending more money.

Blossomlove

I wanted this to be a violet scent but apparently its more mimosa than violet. Wah. Witha $45 price tag now its too prices to blind buy and hope for a more powdery, dreamy violet scent than a warm, yellow floral scent. I like Mimosa and yellow floral, but I'll fork over $45 easily for what the pyramid describes above since violets are my favorite.

Edit: I realized I don't own a single fragrance with mimosa in it so I'm going to go for it.

Edit II: The mimosa does a wonderful job of sweetening this fragrance to make a candied violet perfume and that's what I get from this perfume. I would say the violets are the main star here and the other notes are here to support it and create a beautiful, simple, sweet and candied violet and I couldn't be happier about it as I love candied violets. I'm now seeing why mimosa is often paired with violets, same thing with heliotrope and violet. Jo Malone knows what she's doing around a perfumer's organ and her scents are amazing.

Shan101beauty

A yellow powdery floral. Work space safe.

The smell of roses

This is an amazing mimosa fragrancefragrance. It has an intricate and elegant smell that is quite light. It's great for casual wear, whether you're going to the gym, shopping, or the office. Zara and Jo Malone did an excellent job with the Vibrant Cities collection. The only issue is that Zara discontinued Boldly Seoul a few months ago, and now the remaining perfumes have gone on sale and sold out incredibly quickly. As a result, I had to purchase my perfume from eBay, and it was quite expensive - £40 for 75ml.

I hope Zara will bring it back. I tried new lines and was not impressed by the latest offerings for women. Looks like Zara is back to making cheap perfume.

TatianaChoco

The beginning is very green, it is a violet leaf, I think. After 10 minutes it is powdery yellow mimosa with a violet at the background, beautiful, comfortable. It reminds me a body lotion for a baby. It is inoffensive, but I agree, it isn't for everyone.

SerenaLovesKanye

I love perfume and this one - Boldly Seoul - is a great example why I love perfume so much. I wasn't - into this last year. I didn't 'get' it. I had an untrained nose and I thought - certain things were beautiful and wasn't sure why other scents were.

I love Boldly Seoul now and I'm so proud of myself for growing into this. This scent has subtle layers and I'm enjoying them so much now. It's delicate and there is some powdery, but it's floral and it's squeaky clean at times, and it's just - beautiful and bright and it feels comfortable and comforting. Can't describe why, but that's why perfume is so amazing. It's subjective. It changes. It brings a vibe, it brings a mood.

For me, now, Seoul by J Malone for Zara is - progressive, modern, female, strong, gorgeous, delicate but unbreakable. A gorgeous combo - right now my number one favourite - during this winter season - is Creatively Shanghi with Boldly Seoul - both Jo Malone for Zara. I really hope these two aren't discontinued - I don't see them today on the Zara Site, I hope they restock soon.

Ca3na

Soft and intimate. I smell the violet note most. Its a pretty fragrance.

katarinacza

Yellow flower, decent longevity compared with other Zara fragrances.
For the price - cannot complain. I like mimosa and this one is made well. Yet, would recommend it to smell it before purchase - it is pretty tricky on the skin.
Overall good value for the price and for me, as a yellow flower fan - nice thing for everyday.

SpiderMarc

Amazing mimosa fragrance, in a refreshing, breezy and very enjoyable way!
It’s a totally unisex frag and my colleagues just love it!!

Most of the Jo Malones from Zara have been absolutely fantastic, I love this entire ‘Zara Olfactive’ collection…

Gotta get them all.

yzmo91

A powdery sweet yellow mimosa. Not very Jo Malone style I think (usually fresh and bright) but I appreciate that she's exploring other spectrums. I agree that it does smell like Johnson's baby oil. Boldly Seoul is an intimate smelling fragrance, stays close to the body. Quite comforting. Suitable for spring.

Beeboss

I got Boldly Seoul on sale and it's such a comforting scent! I love it. Unfortunately it doesn't last or project, making it a very intimate scent. I spray my pillows with it because it's such a nice smell. I think it works for layering but overall it really doesn't last :(

ruxela

I agree with the people saying that this is a yellow floral scent, not a powdery one.

bythebeach

This was a complete blind buy - and the notes were a little different than what I would have normally gone for but this scent has become my favorite smell in the entire world. It makes me feel pretty, delicate, light yet elegantly sexy at the same time. I still catch a wiff of this gorgeous scent in the morning after I had sprayed it the night before and I cannot help but smile at how beautiful it is when it dries down. Powdery honey goodness. Love.

Sasspergers

Really glad I got this one, definitely my favourite from the Jo Malone x Zara collab. At first I was intimidated, because the sillage from the bottle is quite strong, as some other reviewers have noted. However, on the skin it's a really pretty and pronounced floral scent, with the mimosa and violet really working well together. Longevity was fantastic for me.

fenel

my mom got a discovery set so i just went through some of the women's perfume and smelled them. I don't like women's perfume unless it's vanilla-y so probably why I didn'y enjoy this one. Kinda old lady smell to me, not bad just not a fan.

culunu

I got this today for sale at Zara, and I enjoyed it as I found it to be a fun new scent to try, especially as I usually don't use sweet and floral scents (Only Drop D'Issey, which is amazing).

However, as I brought it home, I find the scent right from the bottle to be a bit too strong. I also think it is a bit too strong in the start, but as it develops on the skin, I think it smells a bit similar to Libre by YSL. It is then a lot more tolerable for me, and I really enjoy the honey-scent. However, I have yet to smell the musky notes, which I personally wish were a bit more prominent, as it would make it a bit more balanced.

This is not a scent I will constantly wear, but I do want to try out new scents (as long as it is NOT rose-floral) to enjoy and perhaps combine with other scents. I do however believe that this can be a match for many women out there. I prefer more unisex scents, but it was still worth a try!

joexulaje

This is a pure mimosa scent. And for anyone wondering, it smells moslty of chamomile. I wouldn't say this is powdery at all, it's to me a mostly yellow floral.

Not amazing, but not bad by any means. I usually don't go for yellow florals, but I find comfort in that chamomile-y profile I mentioned earlier. In my opinion this would pair well with a honey fragrance!

As for logevity it's awful, 2 hours max. Sillage also quite bad, maybe arm's length if you shower in this perfume. I'd give it a 5/10

saho93

Violet and mimosa work well here. I think it’s a lovely floral.

The perfume is of high quality, especially for the price. Quite well blended.

Enrium

While I think that this Zara Olfactive line by Jo Malone is good overall, Boldly Seoul is one of my favourites. A soft, powdery floral scent, it is a simple yet beautifully-formed. Violet and mimosa are two of my favourite notes, and they work really well in tandem. BS is a soft, intimate, natural-smelling take on this accord. Floral but not too sweet, fresh but warm and well-rounded, it is subtle sophistication in a bottle that belies its price point.

BS opens with green violet that becomes more powdery as it progresses. Hazy mimosa follows, adding powdery softness. It isn't too sweet - more pollen-y and floral. There is a slight green undertone too, complementing the florals and bringing them to life. It smells natural. It becomes softly musky as it dries down, with a slight underlying amber warmth. Sillage is intimate and longevity is moderate.

A feminine springtime scent, BS is a soft, powdery floral that is natural-smelling and nicely balanced. Subtle and sophisticated, it reflects the city of its theme better than most from this line. It would be a love for me if it had better projection, but at this price point, it's a small complaint. A great option for people who favour discreet but well-rounded florals. 4/5.

astralmonad870

Beast performance btw. I’ve had my bottle since February but it looks hardly used. Sillage of 6-7 hours+ and one spray to the arm projects far.

Orchids55

Love this so light I smell mostly violets

dualaokto

I’m crazy over this and JM Mimosa Cardamom. The violet in Boldly Seoul is equally strong with mimosa. All of these times I tried to remember what perfumes they always remind me of because they smell so familiar and comforting to my nose. I finally figured it out just now. They smell like some perfumes that I own and love: vintage Heavenly Dream Angel Victoria Secret (the same purple-ish clean scent and comforting mimosa with powdery drydown), Eau Perfume Au the Bleu Bvlgari, Kenzo Flower, and Firenze Enrico Coveri.

Blueberries

Pretty and light. The green-floral notes are like the fresh smell at a florist's. Violet is normally not for me but here it's so light and fresh and it's almost like there's a discreet iris too. The mimosa smells natural, powdery and not sweet. The scent is slightly warmer in dry-down when a light musk comes forth and maybe a hint of tonka?

A soft, elegant and discreet fragrance. It fits my chemistry and is a bit more of a skin scent on me. If I use it as a bedtime scent, it's still faintly there in the morning.
This is a subtle fragrance, a gentle mimosa whispering a spring greeting.

Snob Smells

Boldly Seoul is light, airy, sweet....with a dash of green! Sits close to the skin and is one I would consider more of a mood booster fragrance than anything else. It is a nice scent...but after I finish my bottle, I won't repurchase.

meama

a nice fresh mimosa
impressive quality for a Zara

zmuc

I didn't expect to like this at all, but it's become one of my favorite Zara perfumes. Very soft and powdery. Reminds me of the Alverde products lol. Doesn't last long

arizonaruby

On me, this is pure mimosa. It’s floral, fluffy, powdery and a tiny bit almondy. I don’t really like mimosa so it’s a no for me, but if you’re a fan of that note you’ll like this.

Yurippe

People claim that this smells like Mimosa & Cardamom simply because it has the Jo Malone name need to remember that a) there is no cardamom in Boldly Seoul and b) most Jo Malone fragrances, including M&C, weren't created by Jo Malone.
If anything, this smells like a dupe for Ananda by M.Micallef to me. Soft, a little powdery, comforting.

poodleParty

I decluttered all my Zara perfumes, except this one. This is a pretty, clean (maybe even a bit soapy) fragrance that makes me feel happy (because spring is coming). Lasts about 4 hours on my skin.

Vellocet

Less is more. How can only three notes creat such a masterpiece of a perfume! The violet is dewy and powdery while the mimosa lifts it up a bit with faint sweetness. All of this on a base of musk makes this such a well blended, beautiful, sophisticated and unique perfume. And it’s a compliment getter for sure! I have to stack up on these in case it gets discontinued. Want this in my staple forever!

astralmonad870

I'm intrigued because the Fragrantica accords profile for this is identical to the Favourite by Penhaligon's, which also contains mimosa yellow florals and violets. I'm seeing reviews for both that say they smell clean and fresh, of parma violets, with green notes. So I blind bought a 75 ml of this on Ebay to see if it suffices as a dupe for the Favourite at a fifth of the price. I'm Korean so I appreciate people saying that the scent profile of a Korean girl is inoffensive and poised, lol.

EDIT: This is rather one-dimensional and I cannot smell the violets at all. It just smells like mimosa to me. Okay at best. If I was Jo Malone, I would add other flowers like geranium and orange to make it more multi-dimensional and rounded.
If you really like linear and simple, detergent-like scents, go and add this to your collection.

SerenaLovesKanye

Boldly Seoul Jo Malone for Zara is powdery, there is a sweet mimosa flower underneath and I do smell this sitting on a base of musk. It's gorgeous and clean. I feel it took me a while to fully appreciate the delicate simplicity of this scent. It blooms after a few wears, at least for me. When my nose began to recognize these notes, I fell from like to love - an appreciation, depth and understanding. I love you Boldly Seoul - you make me pretty and delicate!

LuthfiaD

Blind buy this perfume. for me, it has that "okay ._." scent. Unisex perfume that has a powdery scent, it has signature fancy skin scent from Jo Malone, I just wish it last longer though..

AnnaMagenta

For a person raised in the former Soviet Union, this fragrance is reminiscent of March 8th celebration. When on every corner you can buy a bunch of mimosa flowers.
For me personally it is better and tender version of mimosa scent than in Carnal Flower FM. Also, less cloying than other perfumes from the cities collection.

halogencat

Very nice clean soapy floral, definite powdery violet and mimosa notes there but also a level of watery freshness that stopped it being too cloying. I'd love this if it lasted a little longer but it had faded to nothing in a couple of hours on me.

adddddac

A soft yellow floral that is powdery and sweet, almost candy-like. There is nothing bold about this fragrance... actually, I think naming it "Tenderly Seoul" would have been much more appropriate. It's also very in line with the typical korean girl aesthetic, very pretty and poised and inoffensive.
It's such a gentle and calming scent, and one that instantly puts a smile on my face. I don't know if I would ever wear it outside (as I don't think it suits my overall vibe, lol) but it's nice to sniff when I am having a stressful day or right before going to sleep!

Mariiaguida

I just adore this scent! This yellow floral is just so bright and happy! It leaves a smile on my face everytime I get a whiff of it. It doesnt project, but it lasts quite a long time as a skin scent.

got7lara

love it

twojtrener

I really like it. I blind bought a few fragrances from Zara recently and this is the only one which works with my chemistry and is actually wearable. It's nice, green, slightly powdery. A decent skin scent, perfect for bed or after the shower. I wish it performed a bit better as it disappears after a couple of hours.

geelightning

greener than expected but not unpleasantly so

neome

I hate it. The same pencil shavings kind of violet thats in love in black, but a watery version of it. Not that its lighter, just poor quality. Theres some le labo santal in there too, again a very cheap version of the worst part of le labo. I dont like the scent, the violet is overpowering, nauseating, and apart from that its just very poor quality. Lasting power and sillage are ok, few hours, arm length, but it just smells so cheap. Totally anxiety inducing scent.

skai21

I've tried this a few times as part of the discovery set. Might be contrary to some of the opinions here but I like it. On my skin, the initial impression of this scent is soft, mildly sweet, gentle and powdery. Then the mimosa starts peeking through more, and the green notes from that become more present in the scent. Not in an unpleasant way, and almost slightly grassy? It then dries down softly and a bit soapy, but also becomes even sweeter than before.

I found this pretty unoffensive, except maybe the drydown was dancing on the borderline of being too sweet.
I still like it though. Have considered a full bottle just as a clean spring scent.

burgundysniff

Yeah there's something headache inducing about this One.
I like the opening - violets maybe?- but the drydown it's awful.

Can someone suggest a fragrance that's similar to the opening of this one.. without the mimosa?
Thanks

StopHammertime

Kept going back and forth on this because I thought I was going to like it. The violet is nice. Maybe I don’t like mimosa though because there was something overpoweringly unattractive battling the violet that eventually takes over entirely.

funeralparty

Sweet and clean yet bold floral scent that fits its name well. The mimosa is strong but not overpowering. Low sillage (like most of the fragrances in this collection) but lasts a little longer than I expected. Good for a day out during the summer :)

A Little Perfume

This one is a real shape-shifter on my skin. Sometimes I get tons of fluffy yellow mimosa with an almost pollen-like feel to it and a bare touch of honey and greenery. It's light, golden and summery. Other time it's a sweeter violet with a soapiness to it, clean and fresh. It blossoms in warmer weather, gaining more lasting power and presence. The dry down is a soft musky scent that has a clean and calming feel to it.

An unusual but very wearable scent. I prefer the times it's more mimosa-heavy, but I'm glad to have this in my collection. It's not like anything else I own and it's a great option for summer.

Inayah.elani

I was looking for this kind of fragrance. On oily skin stays for long period.

olaszczepanik5

This is easily one of my favourites! Boldly Seoul is a beautiful clean scent that is perfect for any day. When I don't know what perfume is suitable for me today - this is my pick. Unfortunately it doesn't last very long, but I love it too much to care. :)

LMBelvi

This one is not for me AT ALL. I think this means mimosa is not my cup of tee.
Liked Stunningly Venice and Magnificently Dubai. The rest... not so much.

Yourhumblenarrator

In contrast to the harsh and often overwhelming presence of the city it's named after, "Boldly Seoul" is as gentle as they come. On the flipside, Koreans do tend to prefer clean and inoffensive perfumes, so it ends up being pretty on point in terms of authenticity. Right off the bat I'm reminded of Smarties, the pale and powdery wafer candy, or even Parma Violets. Reviews are pretty accurate, as I do get a sense of almond, baby powder/shampoo, and an overall inoffensiveness. Safe but not generic, I find it somewhat contemplative and addictive. Boldly Seoul sits in the realm of white, musky, fresh linens, but has enough character to stand out. One shouldn't expect something bright and invigorating given violet's gothic undertones, but it's definitely not doom and gloom either. It’s exceptional in candle form, and I could really get used to having my bedroom smell like this. I would adore Boldly Seoul in between a warm shower and a cozy slumber.

Mystères du Château de Dé

Pretty and velvety EDT for under 20 bucks. Perfect product in my opinion. I ditto what has already been described. A creamy mix of Insolence and baby products. The best Malone Zara. A light and carefree, citrus-free summery Guerlain impact.

Yurippe

This smells very nice and clean, like freshly laundered sheets. My SIL smells similar to this, and she said her signature scent is Prada Candy (which I've never tested.) I'd love this as a linen spray, but maybe I'll buy the candle, or the EdT to use at home.

After sitting on the little paper sample for a week, the drydown smells similar to JHAG's Pear Inc., just minus the pear. I assume it's the musc - beautiful, clean and addictive.

Celphie

What a beautiful, gentle perfume! And I don't say that to mean weak or light, I mean if this perfume were a texture it would be the olfactory equivalent of the word GENTLE. It feels like I'm smelling the light ruffles of a feather or even the fluffy mimosa pompoms that's in the notes. There is a very mild (and I mean really mild) sweetness as well as some powdery touches (thank you violet!), but neither one of them takes over: those two are just there to make sure the fluffy florals stand afloat and don't crumble. I can see the resemblance to Jo Malone's Mimosa Cardamom, but only in style. It's like two Impressionist paintings using the same colour and same canvas size and medium, but different images. You know when you touch a sweater someone has just taken off and it still has retained their body heat in the fabric? That's what this perfume makes me think of. I love it!

NekoKawaii

Is it me or does this smell like the yellow Johnson & Johnson Baby Shampoo?

intlV

Whoever said this was almost almondy was spot on. This is the scent I've been waiting for, something close to the skin yet long lasting, fresh, nutty, and unisex. Grabbing a full size asap.

Ewi

Ethereal fairy scent😍 beautiful and quite long lasting. My favourite from the line ❤️

MrsSage

Its a very soft, violet tinged musky floral. I get hints of the mimosa which I always associate with clean and fresh, but the yellow flower mostly sits behind with violet on top. Together the violet and yellow florals occasionally combine to create an almond essence kind of note to my nose. Not bad, but not personally my favorite from the range. I might come back to this on a warmer day. Not too sweet and moderate sillage, inoffensive and modern feeling.

Aichellie

Smells like baby powder in the top and baby wipes in the drydown.

Sephmosh

This reminds me “drole de rose” by L’artisan Parfumeur. Powdery candied violets. Charming!

car0

Shy Insolence by Guerlain followed by a kind of salty? note. Pretty, easy to wear, and with a fair lasting power taking into account it's by Zara. Honestly love this fragrance, it feels classy, it's clean without being soapy, it's yellow florals and a slight touch of a violet candy. Like walking into a violet candy store wearing your face mask and a mimosa perfume, you smell more of the mimosa but still get the violet lurking in the background. Love this, hope this collection sort of sticks around like Jo Loves.

petitflacon

Pilikins

This starts with a vegetal, hay-like mimosa note which I love (although I am slightly allergic to). After a while, the lovely but quite shy powdery violet note takes over. The mimosa and violet are well balanced in the heart of the perfume, but I would love more violet, being mad about the note. That’s it really: a very simple, natural smelling but beautiful perfume. The drydown is a powdery musk. It has quite a low sillage and longevity is 4-6 hours. Leans feminine. It is my favourite from the range, closely followed by Elegantly Tokyo.

mirisfrik

Very weak and shy. Almost skinscent even direct after application. Very simmilar to New York, but without that unique touch feel. For me, a clear pass.

annasarahr121

Boldly Seoul opens almost almond and lilac-like, to my nose (but it's actually mimosa & violet; my nose-training continues!). It's a gentle, powdery, and pretty scent, and badly misnamed because it's not bold AT ALL. I suppose if you need a very close-to-the-skin perfume for work or if you spend time with people who are very sensitive to fragrances, this would be a good contender. As for me -- someone who prefers my perfumes to have PRESENCE --there's really no point in having a full bottle.

goldraindrop

To my nose the opening is a very pollen-like and dried grass-like at the same time which I don’t dislike but also not a huge fan of but within minutes it shifts to a violet forward floral note. I love the fragrance for its simplicity and delicate smell but I’m not sure if it is full bottle worthy. The scent projects for 30 mins and transitions to a skin scent as is expected of a zara fragrance.

dcjimr

Very soft, but very beautifully made. No harsh dry down like a lot of Zara fragrances. I use a lot so I might have to buy the bigger bottle!

Olfa

Mimosa smells like sun on your skin during summer. It is a very pleasant perfume mixed with guerlain powder smell quality of violet. So this is the most outstanding (in a different way) one out of the collection.
If you want to have a sunny spring perfume that can be it. It reminds you of waterlily tea dress due to the freshness of the flowers.

Babyniks

This is a lovely delicate scent! So light and airy and beautiful! I get a strong pollen scent with the mimosa and then the shy powdery violets comes out. There is a sweetness to this scent but not sugar sweet or even honey sweet.. it’s like a pollen sweetness. Very unique and special! Sillage seems to be okay for such a light floral. Longevity is a pretty good 4-5 hours on my skin. I really like this! I think it’ll smell better in spring summer.. but kind of scared to wear it out because I’m afraid I will be swarmed by bees! The pollen-y note is very very prominent!

rednose

As much as I want to like this, and I really do want to, there's one thing that has been happening with Zara fragrances, at least ones bought in my region of residency and that is: they are quite inconsistent in formulation and turn pretty quickly. This isn't meant to be mean spirited. Take it with a grain of salt.

jbeans81

Fluffy pollinated mimosa and clean powdery violet. So so pretty! I keep the 40ml bottle in my purse to spray several times a day since it doesnt have a lot of projection. I love the opening, so I enjoy spraying it. This is a favorite. I do wish it performed better, but for the price I'm not mad at how much I spray it. To me, the scent is backup bottle worthy. Perfect fragrance for workplace.

plasmichoneytrip

Very muted skin scent. I wish it had more sillage and projection considering it is an eau de parfum. Still a lovely, comforting fragrance though. I can smell the powdery violet and slight brightness of mimosa. It is a great after shower, everyday scent.

LyubaG

This is a beautiful fragrance sweet violet very expensive smelling and long lasting

SmellsJustLike

Love this little violet, powdery, sunshine concoction! I use “Moringa” range from the body shop and this sits very comfortably with it.
Excellent sillage for the price. Warming (slight honey note I detect?) and also smells clean and powdery without musc. It reminds me of “Misia”by Chanel!

chakukan

not my favorite from the collection but lovely, too much mimosa for me

Scentedalterego

Very pollen-like, for sure the mimosa. I usually have difficulties with this note. Like sniffing a bouquet. Not for me.

Kathy Reed

It’s like smelling a bouquet of violet flowers, smells super natural and juicy, dries down to a powdery mimosa and the violets omg the violets are so pretty, almost like a really watered down version of insolance by Guerlain, (they don’t smell the same but the violet note smells very similar just wayyy lighter and more natural), definitely one of my favorites of this collection I love it!☺️💓

urelle

I was really excited after reading so many positive reviews. I almost got it just because of its name. The first violet note smells really nice, however, as it dries down, it felt so artificial like a bathroom air freshener. Maybe because I am not a big fan of mimosa, but the combination of mimosa and musk was a no for me.

animal lover 20

I recently decided to try them so I bought the sample pack but I am afraid this is another let down for me. I had the same negative experience as I had had, with the first pack. To be honest with you, Jo Malone is not one of my favourite houses. (I am really sorry for this negative comment, but I am always saying that when it comes to perfume, it is a very subjective matter.....). I have been to the counter a couple of times but I never found something that would persuade me to dig deep in order to acquire a perfume of this house (although the prices of J. Malone's perfumes are out of my league). I have to admit though, as other people have stated already that, this launch is somehow better in comparison to the first one. But still I can not say that I am thrilled with one of these perfumes. Some of them were very strong for me and really put me off (like Magnificentely Dubai and Creatively Shanghai). I suppose the main reason is that, obviously I can not pull off unisex fragrances. I never liked them and I do not think that I will find one that it will suit me. The only one that I liked the most out of the collection was this one, but still I do not think that I will purchase a whole bottle.

akoyumi

A bit sharp and salty for my taste. There is barely any sweetness to be found here- it smells like tart candies.

deanedee

Bought the rollerballs and relaced the rollerball with a spray. To begin, was Mimosa and cardamom my first real fragrance purchase, and has become my favorite. This is not a dupe at all. Boldly Seoul smells like young flower stems and petals slightly crushed, without any sweetness. I get an image of small flowers in a morning field speckled with dew. The Drydown becomes slightly creamy. Was excited to see how Jo Malone scented Seoul, as someone who is Korean, and I feel it is fitting. If you like florals, this is a good innocent, simple one to have in your collection. I could see this being used to layer or wear in an office. Very inoffensive and light. May pick up a bottle soon.

Gemini12

Boldly Seoul is a pleasant, soft floral that falls into that "office appropriate" category of fragrances. On me the opening somehow smells like cherry blossom even though that's not in the notes. As it dries down mimosa is the prominent note with musk in a supporting role. I don't smell much violet but I think it's there rounding out the composition.

soykor

not freaking typical citrucy scent but still very cheerful with strong mimosa note. I love this one and probably will gonna buy another bottle before discontinued.

The opening is a powdery violet bomb on me, but the dry down is very pleasing. Fluffy musk and soft powdery florals. On me the mimosa comes through pretty clearly. But I agree with one of the below reviews, there is a slight fruity aspect to the dry down, but very understated.

It's a very likeable, clean, soft, feminine, inoffensive kind of daytime fragrance, appropriate for work, school or just to feel clean and cozy at home. Albeit safe and understated, it still has a kind of unique character. At least I don't have anything quite like it in my collection yet. I do think this may have signature potential for some.

Projection is rather timid. It's an intimate fragrance for sure. Longevity however is not bad at all on me. In cooler weather it sticks up to 6 hrs on my skin and until the next wash on my clothes.

I love the presentation too. The minimalist bottle comes in a cream colored cardboard box along with a neat card that has the print of what I think is Gyeongbokgung or Gyeongbok Palace in Seoul.

All over, sure it being Zara you can't expect an upscale type of blend, but for the given price this is great imo. Strong like from me. I'm tempted to try one or two more fragrances from the line.

일단 빌어처먹을 시트러스 클리셰가 아니라서 기대가 된다.
Firstly, I'm looking forward to how ZARA expressed Seoul because there's no citrus.
I think it is boring that most of expressing Seoul or Korea perfume have just Citrus. Although there are things that aren't like that.

I hate the first sniff of this fragrance when I try on my skin, it’s a spicy bomb with something non-fresh.

But when it’s dry down OMG it’s very very good for me! It’s violet powdery, with floral note. Safe scent but unique.

A powdery violet with a fresh twist of melon! I don't detect any mimosa here sadly, though the scent is easily wearable and unique.
