Plein Fatale by Philipp Plein Parfums is a Floral Fruity Gourmand fragrance for women. This is a new fragrance. Plein Fatale was launched in 2022. The nose behind this fragrance is Alberto Morillas. Top notes are Black Currant, Bergamot, Ambroxan and Pink Pepper; middle notes are Ylang-Ylang, Tuberose, Jasmine and Rose Petals; base notes are Vanilla, Praline, Musk, Amber, Patchouli and Sandalwood.

Philipp Plein presents his first feminine fragrance called Plein Fatale. The brand hired Master Perfumer Alberto Morillas. He explained:

"To embody the seductive, self-confident Philipp Plein woman, I wanted to create a joyful, exuberant and above all ultra-feminine fragrance. When crafting PLEIN FATALE, I was inspired by Philipp's brilliant universe...The sparkle of a champagne bubble, the irresistible sensuality of a Philipp Plein dress, high heels, a plunging neckline, luscious lips submerged in lipstick... "

Plein Fatale is available as a 90 ml Eau de Parfum.

I'll comment on the comparison to D&G Devotion as it might be helpful for someone. I'm wearing both on my wrists right now, sprayed at the same time. Devotion is far more creamy, gourmand and simple - like a lemon tart with vanilla cream. Plein Fatale is more harsh, sweet and fruity-floral. It opens up as a very sparkly champagne, just like the bottle suggests, but soon sits on skin as a mixture of fruits and flowers rather than vanilla/praline scent. It is also more mature when compared to Devotion. I would never call it something that could replace Devotion in one's collection; it's a different kind of scent and everyone should test both.

I am actually quite surprised by this fragrance, how much i love it! At first it reminded me of a D&G Devotion, but softer vanilla and much more wearable for me personally (and i do like Devotion very much). I wasn´t expecting much of this bottler but now i want the full bottle, instead of Devotion. This vanilla is floral-fruity here, I love the addition of Ylang-ylang and soft rose notes. It is indeed bubbly, like a bottle suggests. The biggest surprise is the drydown... when i looked at the "reminds me of" section and saw Killian GGGB as similar, i was raising my eyebrows, like Really??!!", but i was raising my eyebrows even more, when i smelled my sleeve this morning and thought when did i spray myself with GGGB and recent time, but it was the drydown of Fatale!! They do smell the same on the drydown, BUT not in the opening or middle stage. Trolls will hate, but life taught me not to judge a book by it´s cover (in this case fragrance by its bottle). This is a very affordable nice scent, and i own hundreds of different ones. I really want now to buy this very much! Lasting power is actually good, it lasted good 6 hours and even longer on clothes. It is not overbearing, nor super strong, but strong enough to smell it around oneself...
Now i want to try the pink one!!

Girly, bubbly, sweet and fresh. For me it lacks depth and I'm glad I tested it first as notes almost tempted me to blind buy it. Limited lasting power on my skin, too. Not my cuppa.

I bought it because of the bottle, but the fragrance itself is very nice - it is fruity, bubbly and sweet, perfect for spring and summer. Would not buy it for a full price - I got it in a sale around 40% off.

I bought a 90ml bottle for $35. A sexy, warm, intoxicating scent. It smells expensive and luxurious. Shelly and quite radiating, smells strong for hours. It's worth the price and the bottle is great. It has a similar vibe to jimmy choo - i want choo, but not as fruity.

Sparkling, feminine and very party perfume. Vanilla and mango (not listed here), with a touch of a tuberose and pralines. Good projection.

Smelled out of curiosity because from the bottle it was straight up Kilian's Good Girl. On paper it is much less similar but still a little bit reminiscent.

Not a review but honest question: why do people hate this without smelling it? I’ve never smelled it. But I’m guessing it’s been attacked by haters because of comparisons to “Anal” and poop emojis?

Amazing perfume. It evokes feelings of warmth, sunshine, positivity. You can wear it all year around. It’s soft, slightly tropical. It’s funny that I smell pineapple, but it’s not listed in official notes. Overall this perfume makes me happy and I will definitely buy it again. Love !

I tested it in the perfumery because I was attracted by the bottle like a champagne bottle. I have seen this type of bottle in another brand and perfume, but I don't remember now which one. Now ,coming back to how this Fatale smells... less fatal than I expected. It starts effervescent and fruity like a champagne, but this phase does not last long. It turns quite quickly, what do you think? In a surprising Flowerbomb, ha!!! It's true, less refined and worked, but Flowerbomb!!! You'd think it's a dupe, a clone, well. I don't know at what price it can be found, as I have not heard of this company until now, but if it is cheaper (and it should be), you can replace Flowerbomb with this.

Outofodor

Brand/campaign aesthetics prejudices aside, the perfume is pleasantly surprising. I sense tropical, nutty notes (coconut, marzipan) and apricot jam. The fragrance does not smell loud, cheap or too generic, even after several hours of wear. Morillas came up with an affordable scent in the spirit and at the ultra-luxury level of the European brands in oriental style, like Stephane Humbert Lucas or Boadicea. I recommend to definitely try it.

I know many people will be sad to know the perfume is really good, I bought it last day… it’s not about the brand it’s about the parfumer , he never disappoints me, I realize lately that I have many of his fragrances without knowing he is the creator behind them

Blacktundras

This brand will forever be a joke to me ever since Philip Plein came out with that cheesy, offensive rap campaign for his men's line. "a fragrance for the loaded". I don't even want a sample, pass!!!!

** PS, I'm loving the savage nature of the "this smells like section". I'm sure the "poop emoji perfume", "anal", "burnt hair", "slut" and "this smells like my vagina" frags aren't really similar. Or are they;)

And the winner for the tackiest bottle goes to.....Phillip Plein 👑
Incredible cheap looking like a perfume from a dollar store...the notes sounds similar to LVEB with tuberose, booooooring...next
