126-Българки в САЩ

 Прибира се вчера детето от училище зарибен със списание "Лего" и ми показва какво искал за р.ден, правя справка и виждам, че това е цял лего град и цената е $635! Казвам, че не става да избере друго, той ме поглежда и казва "тогава ще го поръчам на Санта"

Едната заплата ако е само, банкет ша вдигна...

Бенс, нямаш грижи, сигурна съм, че и той ще е доволен!

Момичета, сега като писах на Анет за линка и се сетих, имам цял списък с линкове, които ползвам за newsletter-a, който пиша за клуба на книгата към училището, които са линкове за неща за четене, писане за възрастта ПреК до 1-2 клас. Интересува ли се някой да ги пусна тук?

So what,  много е съобразителен твоят мъник. Моят син пък е сдобарал каталог на Брудер и там ги кара подред желанията към Санта.

При нас Санта мина и повече не го и очакваме. Не ми издържаха нервите всеки ден да пита къде е и да тормози пощальонката с набези като я види. Аааа, и гледаше под масата и питаше "Къде е Коледата?" Та така, догодина пак ще се опитаме да я въведем тази идея.

Бенс, без да знаем, че има такъв ден, го празнуваме религиозно от десетина години (май само веднъж сме се лъгали да ходим на пазар по черния петък).

Ох, не исках да става така и да скарвам хората с коментарите си, но само да поясня, че моето разочарование идва от това, че една страна, която е развита в толкова други аспекти, е толкова назад в подкрепата си за семейството, като цяло, и за жените отделно. И наистина всички тези неща не съм ги знаела изобщо и всеки път съм била много изненадана, като се започне от майчинските и се стигне до днешните ми драми. Ясно става значи, че сметки не съм правила преди да идвам в САЩ.

В заключение на темата, да се върна към първоначалните ми коментари, разбрах, че в МН целодневен К не е задължителен и изобщо до 7 не е задължително да си пращаш детето на училище, което води до високите цени на целодневен К. Дори в някои дистрикти, въпреки цените има лотария за целодневен К. Нищо учудващо, като се има предвид в колко много семейства и двамата родители работят. Е как да не се ядосва човек тогава? Ами времената се променят, а това е система от 50те години...
Както и други споменаха, човек се учи докато е жив. Обещавам, че приключвам.

Биз, стига бе, разбира се, че ще пишеш за това което те вълнува, то нас повечето ни вълнува този проблем. И си е голям проблемът.  Аз ако можех щях по-късно да го пратя на училище. 5 години раничко ми се вижда.
Вчера четох, че искат да махат Паметника на съветската армия в София  . Защо не се захванат с нещо съзидателно тези хора?

 There is a difference between e-reader and a device that you can read e-books on.
The e-readers use e-Ink (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E_Ink ) and that makes the reading experience close to reading a real book.
You can generally read e-books on a lot of devices- your computer, phone, tablet, DS too but that does not make these devices e-readers. They all have LCD screens and as we all know the long exposure to an LCD screen can be harmful for your eyes. ( That's why we all have limits on the TV/Games time for our kids).

From my research on the matter all of the “e-readers” available for kids ( color e-readers) at this moment are with LCD or similar backlight screens. Since the holidays are coming soon, I felt compelled to share this information with you, so when you buy your next educational toy for your child, you make an informed decision.

Биз, аз се радвам когато хората задават бодливи въпроси! Не си само ти, а много мислещи жени + мъже ги обсъждат. Просто моделът си е стар, а времената са се сменили за родители и от двата пола.  

Понякога се питам доколко ние жените сами си допринасяме към ситуацията, като просто я приемаме такава каквато е. Учените си имат и термин за това: когато несъзнателно "купуваме" модели на обществото, дори когато те работят срещу нас.   Виждам добре образовани, иначе много  "воукъл" жени, които се отказват от полагащите им 6 седмици при нас, за да покажат колко са професионални и че дори нямат пол. Не е заради финансови причини и не е защото не искат да останат (ако не искаш да останеш у дома с 2-седмично пеленаче, защо "in the world" искаш деца?)   Докато точно тези жени не погледнат критично и не направят нещо, моделът ще си крета и крета и крета.

И аз приключвам с моя рант

Готвя се за дъъ-ълго пътуване и съм у дома тези дни. След 3-годишна възраст работата у дома става значително по-лесна.

Пикси, къде ще ходиш? И на мен ми се пътува, нещо ме е хванал the travel bug, ама не на екскурзия, а ми се иска да поживея някъде, да поопозная хората.

Атти, и аз си го представях за наистина дълго време (година поне), но нямаше как да стане този път. Лат. Америка иначе.  А и има цял месец дотогава, та кой знае!
